The big question haunting obama campaign headquarters these days is, “Is there enough kool aid in the world to keep our troops believing and fighting for us?” Winston Churchill famously said that “rum, sodomy, and the lash” were responsible for the success of the British Navy. There may not be any sodomy or corporal punishment on Obama’s Ship of Fools (oh pipe down about Larry Sinclair, ya swabbies!), but whoo-hee! that Kool Aide is some powerful juice!

It eats your brain and forces you to repeat the same phrases over and over again: Barack, Barack, Barack. O-Ba-Ma, O-Ba-Ma. Man! It’s weird. And what’s with all his supporters referring to him by his first name? It’s like they think he knows who they are. Snap out of it! Barack has no freaking clue who you are. He does not care! Wake up! It’s really kind of creepy.

The effects of this Demon Kool Aide also include an irresistable desire to attack women. It’s weird really. Drink enough of the red juice and Blam! Your latent bullying instincts suddenly take over your brain and your will. Five minutes before you were a mild-mannered cubicle jockey splitting your time between wondering how a schmuck like you was ever going to get a piece of the late stage hyper-capitalist ACTION and checking out free porn sites on the internet while playing WoW with all your online buddies, and then BOOM! You suddenly find yourself writing emails like this to people you don’t know:

You guys are a f*cking joke. You pretend to be Democrats, but you’re really Republicans. You’re not fooling anyone. Not really.

A real Dem, or real Independent who has a brain, would not want a man who’s supported Bush 90% of the time for these past 8 years, and been a cheerleader for the unnecessary war in Iraq. That would be McCain, in case your possible Alzheimer’s brain needed reminding.

So go ahead and vote for McCain. Let’s have at least another 5-10 years of war in Iraq, an unsupported war against the Taliban and Al Queda in Afghanistan, a f*cked up economy for another 4-8 years. Why not? You’re rich, you PUMAs, so you don’t care, you’re not hurting financially. No one who’s really hurting financially is supporting McCain.

Yeah, the economy has been entirely stagnant for the past 8 years. Let’s keep that up.

Too bad you people don’t have any brains. If you don’t live in the still-backwards South, where the education of the American citizens is STILL the lowest in the country, I’m sure they’d welcome you there.

Also this year pollers are experiencing an 80% hang-up rate. In normal years the hang-up rate is around 40%. And to really get you boys, um deflated, there is also the news that even though O-Ba-MA spent millions on ACORN and other efforts to increase voter registration this year, so far polls are showing that the number of new voters casting votes for the first time is the same as it always is, around 13%. Yikes. Now that’s pretty emasculating.

Kinda makes you want to do something like THIS. Or THIS.

Not us though. We Pumas have always been repulsed by campaign violence, cheating, and intimidation. We saw enough of it first hand in Nevada and Iowa and Texas during the primaries. We were hounded from enough political blogs and online sites to realize we REALLY don’t like it when violent, bullying, cheating elements take over a campaign. In fact, that’s EXACTLY why we started the Puma Movement in the first place.

To challege people like you.

Pumas, there are 11 days left. Don’t give up and don’t give in. Here’s a suggestion I received in email this morning for something anyone can do. Get involved. You’re an American citizen.

Act like one.

The wonderful Betty Jean reminded me this morning of how bad the caucus fraud was in January and February. Here’s a long snippet from the Clinton campaign’s complaint to the Nevada state party chair.

“The Committee” refers to the Hillary for President campaign committee.

Don’t forget, Pumas. The Obama campaign really DID steal the caucuses. They really, really did suppress, intimidate, and flat-out CHEAT their way to “victory.” It’s much more difficult to pull off this sort of crap in a federal election. But they’ll do WHATEVER they can to try. Giving $195 MILLION dollars to the mainstream media helps quite a bit too, of course. Jennifer Brunner in Ohio is helping too. Looks like Ed Rendell is a pretty good guy — there is NO intimation of any funny business in Pennsylvania (other than the ACORN shenanigans in Philadelphia, which isn’t coming from the governor).

Go to Pennsylvania with Harriet this weekend. Bus leaves Penn Station at 9am and returns by 9pm, Saturday and Sunday.

The next 11 days are going to get uglier by the hour. People hate us. They are outraged that we are still resisting. We’re doing EXACTLY what we said we were going to do on June 7th (read it again HERE for motivation). We’re here. Still Democrats, still outraged, STILL NOT VOTING FOR OBAMA.

I’ve heard that the msm is claiming we don’t exist anymore. That the PUMAS have all either given up or decided to vote Obama. Ha!

Have I mentioned that the obama campaign has PAID OFF THE MEDIA TO THE TUNE OF $195MILLION DOLLARS?

Not a crime, and I’m not claiming it is (although I feel pretty darn confident that when the FEC investigations are complete, some time in 2010 or so, we’ll learn just how CORRUPTED the obama donation machine was.) But, the bottom line is it’s been Christmas every day for the mainstream media ever since obama came to town and the one universal charecteristic of gravy trains, whether on Wall Street or in the offices of ACORN, is that nobody wants them to stop.

So. Take a long walk off a short pier Mainstream Media. More people read this blog today than they did in June, July, or August. Our numbers are through the roof. And thousands more find us every week.

We’ve had four million visits in 4 and a half months. More than HALF of those visited AFTER the convention.

So. Dream on Mainstream Media. The Pumas are here, and we’re not going away. Not until we have our own media, our own candidates, and our Democratic Party back.

“The Committee wishes to bring to your attention information we have received evidencing a premeditated and predesigned plan by the Obama campaign to engage in systematic corruption of the Party’s caucus procedures. Compounding this blatant distortion of the caucus rules was an egregious effort by the Obama campaign to manipulate the voter registration process in its own favor, thereby disenfranchising countless voters. Finally, the Committee has received a vast number of reliable reports of voter suppression and intimidation by the Obama campaign or its allies.

The Committee had 30 phone lines on Saturday to receive calls in its Las Vegas offices. These lines rang continuously from early morning until well after the caucuses concluded with reports from people who were victimized and who observed irregularities. The phone lines were so over-whelmed that many callers resorted to calling individual Committee staff cell phones to report that they could not get through. The Committee also received many similar calls at its national headquarters.

The Committee is confident that any investigation into the conduct of the caucuses will be thorough, fair and in the interest of insuring that future Party caucuses will be as open and democratic as possible.

Systematic Corruption of the Party’s Caucus Procedures

The Committee received substantially similar reports of improprieties of such a number as to leave no conclusion but that the Obama campaign and its allies and supporters engaged in a planned effort to subvert the Party’s caucus procedures to its advantage. For example:

• Preference cards were premarked for Obama.
• Clinton supporters were denied preference cards on the basis that none were left, while Obama supporters at the same caucus sites were given preference cards.
• Caucus chairs obviously supporting Obama:
• Deliberately miscounted votes to favor Senator Obama.
• Deliberately counted unregistered persons as Obama votes.
• Deliberately counted young children as Obama votes.
• Refused to accept preference cards from Clinton supporters who were at the caucus site by noon on the ground that the cards were not filled out fast enough.
• Told Clinton supporters to leave prior to electing delegates.
• Clinton supporters who arrived late were turned away from the caucus, while late Obama supporters were admitted to the caucus.

Manipulation of the Voter Registration Process

Numerous reports received by the Committee demonstrate a concerted effort on the part of the Obama campaign and its supporters to prevent eligible voters supporting a candidate other than Senator Obama from caucusing. The Obama supporters complained of were acting in positions of authority at the caucus sites. Some of these reports are as follows:

• Obama supporters wrongly informed Clinton supporters that they were not allowed to participate in the caucus if their names were not on the voter rolls. However, Obama supporters whose names did not appear on the voter rolls were permitted to register at the caucus site.
• Obama supporters falsely informed Clinton supporters that no registration forms were available for them to register to vote at the caucus site.
• Obama supporters wrongly told Clinton supporters who were attempting to caucus at the wrong precinct that they could not caucus at that site, while simultaneously permitting Obama supporters at the wrong precinct to participate.
• Obama supporters were allowed to move to the front of the registration and sign-in line.

Voter Suppression and Intimidation
The Committee received a substantial number of disturbing reports from voters that they had been subject to harassment, intimidation or efforts to prevent them from voting. Some of the most egregious of these complaints are described below:

• Voters at at-large caucus sites were informed that those sites were for Obama supporters only.
• Clinton supporters at at-large caucus sites were told that their managers would be watching them while they caucused.
• Workers were informed that their supervisors kept lists of Clinton and Obama supporters, and were told that they could not caucus unless their name was on the list of Obama supporters.
• Many Clinton supporters were threatened with employment termination or other discipline if they caucused for Senator Clinton.
• Workers were required to sign a pledge card to support Obama if they wanted time off to participate in the caucus.
• Workers at one casino were offered a lavish lunch and permitted to attend and register to vote only if they agree to support Obama.

The complaints summarized above represent only a small sample of the complaints received by the Committee. With respect to each of these complaints and many more, the Committee has the names and phone numbers of those reporting these incidents and the specific precinct numbers where the incidents occurred. Upon request the Committee will share these with the Party with appropriate safeguards to protect these individuals from reprisal. On the whole, these reports show a troubling effort by the Obama campaign and its allies and supporters to advance their own campaign at the expense of the right of all Nevada Democrats to participate in the democratic process in a free, fair and open manner.

So the multi-millionaire Barbie Boy wants to ridicule Sarah Palin for needing money to buy the clothes she MUST BUY to campaign for the White House. Nice. Barack Obama is a creep and a fraud, and if you are a Democrat who hasn’t figured this out yet, YOU ARE NOT PAYING ATTENTION!

It never stops. Never, ever. If Sarah Palin had tried to campaign in the wardrobe she has hanging in her closet in Juno, you know, the Ann Taylor suits that cost $148.99 and the three or four pairs of $200 shoes, the 4 jackets, six scarves, five handbags, and one pair of snazzy but scuffed gen-yoo-ine snakeskin boots with which every professional woman with children tries to look good while making do, she would have been HOUNDED RELENTLESSLY and ridiculed as a shabby, amateur hick in every media outlet in the universe. Just ask Michelle Obama. A very stylish lady, in my opinion. But nothing protects her either. She is ridiculed and hounded for wearing belts that are too big, dresses with floral prints, and scary boots. She probably spends a LOT of money on her clothes. And why not? She’s a very wealthy woman. Cindy McCain has made getting dressed a full-time job since she was 7 or 8 years old. She looks great, perfect even. At all times. It’s a bit scary actually. And Hillary? Cleavage, kitten heels, and pantsuits. Enough said.

This is how it works, Folks. An impossible standard is raised and we are all expected to bankrupt ourselves to meet it — to spend a phenomenally STUPID amount of money on clothes and accessories, to hate the way we look in order to motivate ourselves to BUY MORE, and to feel shamed and ugly when we cannot or will not play the game.

The Palin’s combined income in 2007 was $170,000, with $25,000 going to taxes and $8,000 to charity. That means $11,500 a month net for a family of seven. Not bad. All the bills get paid on time, presents fill the room on Christmas morning, college gets saved for, Dad gets a snowmobile, and Mom can buy a reasonable amount of clothes every year to do her job. In 2006, their net monthly income for their family of six was $9,833. And it was less in the years prior to 2006. A nice, comfortable two-salary family in this day and age.

But NOT enough to dress like Cindy McCain, or Mika Brezhnev, or Andrea Mitchell, or Candy Crowley, or Michelle Obama.

Sarah Palin is an upper middle class WORKING CLASS person. No one so “poor” has run for national office in 150 years. When Bill Clinton ran he had been Governor for 8 years and Hillary had already made them wealthy (plus, der, he’s a guy and this is a DOUBLE standard we are talking about). Dan Quayle, Al Gore, John Kerry, both George Bushes, Dick Cheney, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter? Barbie Barack Obama and Joe Biden? All rich. Really rich. And male too, so it doesn’t even count. Nancy Pelosi? RICH. Even Geraldine Ferraro was rich. Hillary is rich.

There aren’t enough short piers in the world for this crew. Who do they go after? Always, always, always it’s the vulnerable.

Email the media and tell them that if they can devote an investigative budget of tens of thousands of dollars to snoop around Sarah Palin’s closets and Cindy McCain’s daughter’s Facebook account, maybe they could throw a few bucks toward finding Barack Obama’s birth cerificate, or his drug dealer, or his college transcript, or his ties to ACORN and Ayers.

Just received an email describing the desertedness of shopping malls and big stores. Empty Home Depots, malls bereft of mothers with baby carriages, day care centers with empty toddler rooms. I hate shopping and avoid it like the Daily Kos, so I’m a pretty poor judge, but what about you Pumas? Have you noticed a somewhat sudden downturn? Are orders down at your small business? Do you know of layoffs among your family and friends?

What’s the temperature?

(Oh, and apparently Obama’s grandmother is “gravely ill” with a broken hip. That’s why Obama has to”RUSH” to Hawaii in a few days. The woman is 85 years old, and a fall or broken bone for someone very elderly often DOES indicate something quite serious, BUT, no one in the campaign will elaborate or even hint at WHAT might be ailing her. She had a broken hip and was released from the hospital a couple weeks ago — back to her own apartment. TRANSPARENCY for the Obama Campaign. It’s what’s missing. Oh, and another thing, please alert me when any of the Puma sites (or even any repub sites) start ridiculing and humiliating the elderly lady. I’m SURE some Pumas will be posting pictures of the grandmother on the floor of her apartment, unable to get up. Right? Right?)

October’s more than halfway over and I don’t feel surprised yet. I’m betting that there is NO October Surprise planned. No other shoe to drop. Obama’s holding on to a tiny lead in most polls. Palin is so popular there isn’t a forum big enough to contain her fans. She blew SNL’s ratings record up Saturday night in an appearance that was both funny and relaxed. Joe the Plumber has turned a few more million working class voters in swing states against Obama’s socialist-tinged elitism, and Michelle’s lobster-caviar-champagne habit has more than a few coupon-clippers in Michigan and Virginia scratching their heads.

But, but, but. . .

Polls show a lead for Obama among white women that is too big to dismiss as over-sampling or media bias. Apparently it’s the white MEN who are racist, not the women (this is b.s., I know, but it’s the new conventional wisdom)

This election is ours to lose, Folks.

Don’t get me wrong. Being perceived as “wimp” is TOXIC. Just ask Jimmy Carter, Michael Dukakis,  Al Gore, and John Kerry.

I’ve been a lurker the past month or so. I am not a member and not as brave as your members to even sign on. I just wanted to comment on a post tonight. The writer was wondering if others are getting scared of BO in the WH. I can tell, you everyone I know, friends and coworkers are very scared now that the mask has slipped and they were informed to go looking on the internet. I’ve lurked and read many blogs, most posters there are getting scared as well. You may not know it but people are indeed flipping left and right from Obama-those that are not complete Koolaid drinkers. Fear of this man, his violent and dangerous radical ties that continue to mount, trump any and everything else.

I’m in a blue state and have turned 5 coworkers to vote for McCain so far. None of them knew any of this stuff becasue it was not in the MSM. I feel for this guy Joe-being villified but it is a huge eye opener to people – both the conversation with BO and them ripping him apart for daring to disagree with him. The ACORN thing is a huge eye opener too. It has finally made a lot of on the fencers question everything BO has lied about and they go looking on the net. Nobama thinks we that have internet access are stupid enough not to go looking. It is those that don’t have it and get their only info. From the MSM don’t know the “real” Nobama. I just wanted to let you and your posters know they are far from alone. Many, many people lurk here and more with each passing day. You ladies(and gentlemen) are making a huge difference. Kudo’s to you all and keep it up!!!!!!  Us lurkers may not be as brave or vocal as you but we are fighting the fight-informing the uniformed and changing votes to McCain whenever and wherever we can-in our own small way.

Bottom line: there is absolutely NO REASON for discouragement or despair. We are here, working together, and we’re not going anywhere (well, some of us will be going to Ohio, Florida, Nevada, and Pennsylvania this weekend, but they’re still “here” when they’re “there”).

So Puma Up folks — turn those frowns upside down and dig in. It’s going to be a LONG 18 days until November 4th — but it will also be wonderful, because we’ll always have each other to rely on: for help and inspiration every single day.

Hillbuzz makes the point I’ve been pushing for months — the DONC hates its base. They hate us. Dare to disagree with or oppose The One? Be prepared for an onslaught unmitigated by decency, inclusive principles, or restraint of any kind. We’ve catalogued the insults and degradation many times here on this blog: the comments that cursed our loved ones to die in botched back-alley abortions, the threats of righteous violence if obama loses, the by-now toothless accusations of racism (yet they still sting). We’ve been called witches, bitches, and cunts — frequently and publicly. We watched how they portrayed Hillary, and we documented their pornographic degradation of Sarah Palin. (”my black brothers will gang rape Sarah Palin,” “fucking whore,” “dominatrix,” “pom-pom girl,” “sex slave,” and of course “cunt” over and over again).

And now they savage S. Joseph Wurzelbacher, aka Joe the Plumber. Even Joe Biden is doing it. We’re told he’s stupid, ugly, racist, poor, dumb, a fraud, and a liar. He’s a guy so he probably won’t be gang-raped or figuratively f**cked by teh Boiz. He probably won’t be photo-shopped with a ball gag in his mouth being whipped by Markos in drag. That probably will never happen. Maybe Maureen Dowd will devote a column to how she’d never have sex with someone so poor. But probably the most humiliating thing he’ll have to live down is Diane Sawyer reminding him and millions of us that Joe the Plumber will probably NEVER make enough money to qualify for obama’s tax increases. 

What a strange, strange beast the Democratic Party has become.

No one believed us when we claimed that Obama stole the caucuses with fraud and intimidation. And like Cassandra, we now watch as Obama’s Trojan horse unleashes ACORN to burn Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania down. 

DEMOCRATS. Democrats did this.

And they continue to do it every day. 

This is the new DNC, and it’s why we call them the DONC. They don’t represent us, our values, or our experiences. In fact, they represent everything we always thought we hated about Republicans. As Pumas, our eyes were opened back in February. We’ve known for a LONG time what the rest of the country is just learning — that the Democratic Party has been hijacked by a shrieking band of character assassins and thugs. 

ACORN and obama thought they could get away with trashing our voters and our democratic processes in order to win. They succeeded in starting a fire, that’s for sure. But it’s not the one they meant to start.

As the evidence of massive fraud and ugly tactics mounts in every swing state in the last 3 weeks of this horrible election, the DONC will soon learn that most people hate arsonists. That instead of destroying their victims, obama and the DONC have ignited us to unite and fight. Not on their terms however, and not with their tools. We are fighting fire with water — the powerful and quiet undercurrent of decency, good will and courage which connects all average citizens and revitalizes our sense of community and shared purpose.

Our silent revolution will be quick and devastatingly effective. It will take place on Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 beginning at 7am and ending at 9pm eastern. The only weapon we will use is a ballot, and there will be no casualties. We’re Pumas. We work quietly and without fuss or fanfare.  

And once the Obama Movement’s incendiary assault on our voters has been permanently doused on that day, and he and his minions have been swept back to Chicago for good, we’ll begin the hard work of rebuilding our party and the reputation the BOIZ so recklessly tried to destroy.

It will be a long, difficult job. But there is no way in HELL that I’ll give up.

Every time I see a picture or description from DEMOCRATS of Sarah or Hillary in pornographic degradation I think of my daughters and a repulsive image of their heads photoshopped into a porn picture pops into mine. This is what will happen to them if you don’t fight, the voice in my head tells me. 

And so, I’ll fight. Alongside every one of us who believes we have more in common with Joe the Plumber than Joe the Senator. More in common with the mother of a child with Down’s Syndrome than the father of the Daily Kos hate machine. And more in common with a brave, young Wellesley College graduate who dared to dream she could be president than with a cowardly, young Harvard graduate who dared to believe he might be the Messiah.

Twenty days left in this nightmare campaign, Folks. Between today and November 4th things are apt to get heated and tense. We’ve all had enough. Enough of the pandering, the lying, the insults, the denial of reality, the indifference of the media and our leaders, the Palin porn, the sexist onslaught, and enough of Barack Obama. Why isn’t he back in Chicago already, where he belongs? I believe the country is well and truly sick of him.

Obama is an empty suit in love with the sound of his own voice and the shape of his own naive ideas. As Riverdaughter said this morning, Obama has permanently sidelined Hillary Clinton’s political career. She will likely not seek national office again, and the ONLY reason is that he willfully and viciously kneecapped her during the primaries. McCain did the right thing last night in confronting Obama about the sexist and racist attacks on him, Sarah Palin, and even Hillary Clinton. I won’t hold my breath waiting to see if the MSM addresses the issue, but it was a good and honorable thing for McCain to do. Obama, of course, sputtered and muttered a response that made him look more guilty and smug than ever.

McCain is wrong on health care, but who cares? The treasury is empty — the country is broke and feels broken. There will be no will and no wherewithal to adequately address the health care mess this time around. And Obama is wrong about everything. Because he’s a liar and a panderer. His platform looks pretty good on paper, but that’s all it is — paper. His tax cuts are actually tax credits, an important difference, but he assumes we’re all idiots and won’t know the difference. He has NO plan for education reform (maybe he’ll hire Bill Ayers to run the public schools even deeper into the ground). And his foreign policy is an incoherent shambles of nice ideas and lofty ideals. Spare me.

The Obama Movement is in love with its own image of itself — as youthful, hopeful, shiny, and new. They remind me of the young Bernie and Bill — privileged, pampered, petulant babies, over-educated and underinformed.

Meet the new brats. Same as the old brats.

Meanwhile, like Jo up there (the 21st Century reincarnation of Rosie), it’s our job to do the WORK now, just like always. We have 20 days to do everything we can to keep the King of the Brats out of the White House.
