A Celebration of Hillary Clinton’s Historic Presidential Campaign! What makes this historical event special? It’s not just because it’s named after Maya Angelou’s famous poem “Rise,” but that it will also close with the lighting of candles to pay tribute to Hillary and all of her achievements, while also symbolically reigniting the flame of America’s great Democracy and Lady Liberty’s torch. Candles will Rise as participants at Cheesman Park and communities across the nation will recognize Senator Clinton’s achievements in one harmonious gesture of celebration. This will be a marvelous opportunity for those who worked on Hillary’s behalf and her supporters as well as all who believe in and appreciate our Liberty and Democracy to come together and enjoy an afternoon and evening of festivities. This is a free event; all Hillary supporters/fans are welcome. Puma Pac activities begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at 6:00 p.m. The Rise 2008 takes over at 6:00 p.m. Speakers and entertainment begin at 7 p.m.. The festivities will end with the national “RISE” candle salute to Hillary, Democracy and Lady Liberty at precisely 9:45 MDT.

From shuttle vans to signs, cases of water to candles, lighting equipment to porta-potties, we need to raise enough money so that Puma PAC will be all over the city of Denver all week long!

It’s Conference time, Folks. By Monday we will have a detailed and specific plan of action for Denver. Between now and then, posting will necessarily be light. I will post some updates and tidbits, but most events will be fairly private. No media is allowed. We will be broadcasting “Meet Me in Denver with Murphy and Friends” on Saturday night, 9-11pm eastern, live from the Conference. DO call in!
Keep PROWLING and posting flyers. Keep encouraging friends and family to join our Movement.
Puma PAC is joining with The Confluence and Just Say No Deal to host a live-blogging and media headquarters in Denver. Riverdaughter will be there. JSND will be there. Peacocks and Lilies will be there. Alegre, and several of the Puma/JSND bloggers from No Quarter will be there. We’ll be hosting media events, delegate receptions, and Protest coordination from our Puma Headquarters.

Confluence regulars Mawm and Gary Chapel Hill will join us for Denver updates, and we’ll be performing a radio play by the talented Madamab! Speaking of Denver. Folks, each bus costs between $8,000 and $14,000 (depending on starting point). Puma PAC members have been VERY generous, but to be brutally honest, we are going to have to raise quite a bit more to get a bus traveling to Denver from New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, and Jacksonville — that’s over $60,000. SO, have a drink tonight at the Lion’s Share and join the fun. A beer or glass of wine costs $10. Mixed drinks are $20. But feel free to tip generously if you can. Water is always free!
