Murphy: As I indicated to you via another channel of communication, I and 3 others visited the aliens last night and aggravated the hell out of them for 3 hours…with nothing but humor…it was for me good recompense for 11 months of alien Alynskyite invasions. Nothing nasty just funny..within an hour there were few aliens posting…Hurray…

Plot-twisting, lying, cheating, stealing (votes and taxpayers money), sexist, cover-up, the death of journalism, back-door deals. Who would have thunk it?

Looks like the Bush appointed DAs want to shake things up before Obama replaces them.

I like this article from Sunday’s Herald which lambasts the MSM for fine-tooth-combing Palin and giving Obama a free pass and then goes on to say:
Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., himself the son of a shakedown artist, is alleged to have offered (through a minion) a half-million bucks for Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat. Jackson replaced former Rep. Mel Reynolds, who went to jail for getting jiggy with a 16-year-old campaign staffer and stayed in jail because of various fraud convictions. Reynolds, in turn, was the “reformer” who had replaced Rep. Gus Savage, the thug-congressman who groped a Peace Corps volunteer in Zaire while on a “fact-finding” trip. Man, what isn’t there to love about Chicago politics?

But, there is a nice moral to the story here. For the last several years, we’ve heard a lot about “new politics.” So far, it looks like Obama did nothing wrong, and I hope that remains the case. But it’s worth remembering that there really isn’t any such thing as “new politics.” Politics is eternal because human nature is unchanging. Even Barack Obama, hero-saint light-worker Jedi Knight Messiah that he is, came from a political culture that would not be unrecognizable to Caligula.

Howdy Pumas, this is my first day of freedom after the official end of the semester and I’m just looking around the place seeing all the projects I have been postponing and trying to think of a reason to procrastinate.

The big local news here in Chicago is: #1 Blagojevich, #2 Blagojevich, #3 Blago…..etc. The Illinois legislature is meeting in Springfield this afternoon, so there may be news by the end of the day.

BO is expected to announce his environmental team today. Wonder who wrote the speech for this.

The weather in Chicago is bitterly cold and icy. I poked my nose out, threw some salt on the skating rink that is my front step, and canceled the rest of my plans.

HeadClunker and Murphy: There is something very smelley in the notice and the action…Are you saying that Dec 16 meeting will not be held at all or are you saying that because of the sunshine notice ..it will be closed to the public. Putting a socalled Personnel item on the agenda with other items that may be ones bureaucrats do not wish to discuss in the public is one of the oldest moves in the book..here…We need to call this cygy Robert and find out if meeting is going on…under a closure. or if you know meeting is not happening

Headclunker and Murphy: Since the Sunshine notice was filed in Register on 9th, intention was to hold closed to public meeting because of third item on agenda…thus this meeting may be happening in closed session and therefore knowing what aspects of first two code citations reference will indicate what supposedlly that part of the agenda as to have generally been about. Sunshine notices must always be looked at very carefully, and given that it is the FEC now…most imprtant.
