My cat woke me up early so I am on my way out with flyers and posters.

My cat is up early as well and I have released her to the wilds of the backyard woods. She is playing PUMA today.
We must all stay focused. To keep this metaphor of a puma going, I am reminded that a clever cat such as a puma keeps its eyes on the mission. Prey can slink away if we are distracted.

Well I just woke up and see that the Berg suit was dismissed. If any one lives where a BO rally is going on, we need to get there with large signs that say “Show us your birth certificate”.
Time for the people to get in his face. If you go, take a gang with you.
We can also flood his phone lines asking for him to show it. Make calls to the media, papers, etc. We can’t let this drop to the wayside.
It is pathetic. I have no trust in government anymore.

Despite there being an entire cottage industry devoted to exposing the liberal bias of the mainstream media, Republicans and conservatives continue to allow themselves to be unduly influenced, and even demoralized, by what they read and hear in the big city newspapers and on network television.
What are they reading and hearing? That Barack Obama will be the next President of the United States. It’s inevitable. It’s his election to lose. What proof does the media offer? Public opinion polls that supposedly show Obama “winning” the race. (But see here and here.) The thousands of devoted supporters who attend Obama’s rallies. The legions of blacks and young people who are more “inspired” than ever to vote for a candidate who understands their needs and interests. Etc. We all know the story by heart by now.
This is the “narrative” that the mainstream media has been imposing on this year’s presidential campaign almost from the start. Remember how quickly the MSM jumped off the Hillary Clinton bandwagon and onto Obama’s? Remember how annoyed and angry they became as Hillary refused to concede the nomination? The MSM decided that electing the nation’s first black, socialist, anti-American president was politically and historically more important (and, for them, more exciting) than electing the nation’s first female, socialist, patriotic president. And they are doing everything they can to achieve this goal.
Well, there is another story out there that the MSM refuses to address. A huge story. One that could, and I think will, significantly affect the outcome of this race. I’m referring to the widespread phenomenon of registered Democrats openly supporting John McCain. There are numerous “Democrats for McCain” type organizations. There are numerous websites and blogs written by Democrats touting McCain’s candidacy. There are pro-McCain grassroots efforts being led by Democrats. And we all know friends or relatives who are Democrats, who voted for John Kerry in 2004, and who are no fans of President Bush – but who are going to vote for John McCain this year.
Yet, surprise surprise, the mainstream media is not talking about these voters, not talking about the real rift that is occurring within the ranks of the Democratic Party. Needless to say, if a similar rift were occurring in the Republican Party, it would be treated as the major story that it is. (Indeed, as such stories about the political fault lines in the Republican Party have been treated in the recent past.)
Who are these pro-McCain Democratic voters? They overwhelmingly tend to be former Hillary supporters. Perhaps the most well-known of these voters are the “PUMAs” – which stands for Party Unity My Ass. These are Hillary supporters who are adamantly opposed to Obama. Let’s not forget that during the Democratic primaries – real elections, not polls – Hillary crushed Obama among white working-class and middle-class voters in such key states as Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. If a meaningful number of these voters end up voting for McCain, as I predict they will, then Obama’s smooth road to the White House is going to run smack into a brick wall.
Earlier this week, I attended a John McCain campaign event in New York City. There were several Democrats in attendance. Not only people who are registered Democrats, but party leaders and workers who had been actively involved in Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Indeed, the gentlemen who “keynoted” the event was a former publisher of the left-wing Village Voice magazine and a veteran of the Robert Kennedy, George McGovern, and Jimmy Carter campaigns. Hardly a right-wing conservative. He gave one of the best stump speeches I have heard why Barack Obama should not be elected president. (It comes down to not trusting Obama to keep the United States safe and strong in a dangerous world and rejecting Obama’s “government knows best” attitude when it comes to domestic issues.) Another person I met at the event was a sprightly elderly woman who manned telephones for Hillary for five months, and now is supporting McCain.
There is nothing remotely similar to this taking place among Republicans. (No, Christopher Buckley endorsing Obama is not the same thing at all.)
Some more anecdotal evidence of a lack of support for Obama among Democrats: I live in the Upper West Side neighborhood of New York City. You cannot find too many places in the country that are more liberal than that. Walking around my neighborhood during the 2004 presidential campaign, I felt “assaulted” on all sides by Kerry-Edwards buttons, bumper stickers, and posters. This year, there clearly is not the same level of outward support for Obama. It is remarkable (and welcome). Will most of the people in my neighborhood vote for Obama on election day? Of course. Will Obama win New York? Almost certainly. But the lack of enthusiasm for Obama among these Democrats, who I’m sure would be going gaga for Hillary, speaks volumes about Obama’s true prospects for victory this year.
The point is simple: Don’t believe the Obama hype coming out of the mainstream media. If the media were truly objective and unbiased, they would be covering the race much differently. Instead of trying to browbeat the country into voting for Obama, they would be analyzing the issues and factors that favor and disfavor both candidates. Instead of focusing on college students and intellectuals, they would be focusing on working-class and middle-class voters, especially “Hillary Democrats.” These voters may very well determine the election. Yet this huge story is being ignored by the MSM.
Furthermore, the media would not so consistently confuse intensity of support for breadth of support. Granted, Barack Obama’s supporters tend to be more enthusiastic about their candidate than John McCain’s supporters are about him. Leftists are always looking for their earthly messiah. But this does not mean that Obama’s supporters, come election day, will outnumber McCain’s. Whether in support of McCain or in opposition to Obama, I predict these voters will go to the polls. Contrary to the wishful thinking of Democratic pundits, they are not staying home. These voters may be unexcited, but they are not apathetic. And 51% of “unexcited” voters will defeat 49% of even the most “inspired” voters. Every time.
Of course, we all know what the mainstream media’s “narrative” will be if (I believe, when) John McCain wins the election: The American people refused to vote for Obama because of the color of his skin (and not because of the content of his politics). The “right-wing attack machine” scared voters into voting for McCain, even against their own social and economic self-interest. Black and poor voters were intimidated by Republican thugs and prevented from voting. We know this story by heart as well.
So be prepared. In a few more weeks, the political environment in this country is likely to become a heckuva lot nastier. For there are real signs pointing to a McCain victory this year, whether or not the mainstream media wants to acknowledge them.

Guys, don’t worry about this Berg lawsuit thing. If you want, contact the judge’s office and complain. Or bother the DNC and Obama campaign every single day–a few times a day, to demand transparency. Ask why he is not forthcoming with the American public. Where is his birth certificate, his college and law school records, his records from Chicago as state senator, his campaign small donor list, and why did he hand in only one page for his medical records?
Tell them that there are far too many questions about Obama, and ignoring the questions will only translate into less votes for him, so they are doing a disservice to their candidae by not taking the concerns of citizens seriously.

I’d be out again today like I’ve done the past few days, I’m targetting heavily democratic area in my city. I was surprised to received email from planned parenthood organization. Only Hillary Clinton campaign knows my email address. I do not appreciate it she’s giving to NObama HQ; I find that quite disgusting and breach of trust and my privacy. I replied to the email, it was direct to the point.
Barney Frank wanted to cut 25% of military spending, I am against it. I have three nephews serving in the Middle East right now. The Democratic Party is destroying this country. I’ve met quite a few democrats this past few days especially last night, NObama frightens them and rightfully so. NObama tax plan is a lie. He did not tell the people everything they’re going to buy will also increase, they can’t afford it, their would be workers laid off from their job. The one who’ll get hurt the most with his tax increase is the middle class down to the bottom of the file. Big corporations will just move their operation overseas to escape another tax increase from the Democrats. Corporate tax in USA is 35%, second highest corporate tax in the world not counting state tax that corporations must pay which is between 7-12% . If I am a corporation, why would I keep my business here in the US when I can take my operation overseas, pay less taxes, sell my goods here in the US and make a huge profit margin?
The Democratic Party love jobs but they hate business creating those jobs. The Democrats are not known for creating jobs, but they’re well known for taxing the American people to death, and they’re BIG SPENDERS. They’re not bashful also of taking rights away from you guaranteed in the constitution.

The Berg case was ALWAYS going to be appealed, probably all the way to the Supreme Court, as Berg noted early on. The only issue was who would be appealing.
The “standing” issue is core; it may be hard for Berg to establish technically that he has been “injured” as the law requires, but this leads to the question about what remedy exists for breaking the law requiring native-born citizenship. Possibly, none exists at the pre-election level, and the law would only kick in after an ineligible President was elected. Very sloppy thinking on the part of the framers, IMO.

I really don’t understand why people keep thinking: Obama? Socialist? Nahhh. My city is crawling with people who agree with socialism. 75% of my college and grad school professors were/ are socialists and taught socialism as a wonderful thing. Some were very militant about it. Only a few said it was only good in theory. I personally know people who love the idea of America turning into a communist nation. Anyway, socialism as a political view is very very common where I come from. I really don’t understand why people think it’s so far-fetched that Obama is a socialist. Maybe there is an age gap or a cultural difference, or whatever. My problem with Obama’s socialism is that it would be racial and there is an undertone of malevolence. Not truly an altruistic or fair version of socialism as I know it with my peers. I really cannot accept the racial marxism in black liberation theology. I just think it’s hateful and incendiary. That’s the same reason why I have a problem with Ayers’ and Dorhn’s version of marxist socialism, because the crux of their views is always racial. I can understand why, but I like to philosophize about a socialism that is not based on hatred, more like a love for the poor and working class in general. Not some kind of hard-core mean-spirited payback.

Frank Marshall Davis was Obama’s mentor between the ages of 10 and 18. He was a member of the Communist Party.
Bill Ayers flatly states in his book, Prairie Fire, that he is a communist.
Obama’s father, Barak Sr., was reported to be in the Moscow camp.
The New Party in Chicago is a communist political aprty. They have both endorsed Obama and in their literature have referred to him as a member.
There is anecdotal evidence that Obama’s grandfather, Stanley Dunham, was involved with the communist party. He was friends with Frank Marshall Davis. When he moved his family to Hawaii, their new residence just happened to be a block away from the Party HQ in Hawaii.
Frank Marshall Davis was originally from Kansas and moved to Chicago before he ended up in Hawaii.
When Obama went to Columbia, Ayers was living in New York at the same time. In fact, the distance between Ayers’ and Obama’s New York residences was a mere few blocks. This suggests tht Obama’s relationship with Ayers goes back to his Columbia, not his Chicago, days.
Bernadine Dohrn, like Bill Ayers, proclaimed herself to be a communist. “Most of these socio-economic views have one major concern: the increasing concentration of control over society into the hands of fewer and fewer people. This is not quite the same as increased concentration of wealth: wealth itself is no great threat to the social order although it can be used for that purpose. Socialism would tax wealth in order to set up bureaucracies that would fairly redistribute the wealth. Report: Government Computers Used to Get Information on ‘Joe the Plumber’
Public records reveal driver’s license and SUV information on ‘Joe the Plumber’ was obtained from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles database.
Ohio officials are investigating whether government computer systems were illegally accessed to acquire personal information about “Joe the Plumber,” The Columbus Dispatch reports.
Public records requested by The Dispatch reveal information on Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher’s driver’s license or his sport-utility vehicle was pulled from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles database.
Information on Wurzelbacher was obtained on Oct. 17 through an account used by the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency in Cleveland, The Dispatch reported records as showing.
Access to such information from BMV computers is restricted to legitimate law enforcement and government business.
The Dispatch reported that information on Wurzelbacher was accessed by accounts assigned to the office of Ohio Attorney General Nancy H. Rogers, the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Toledo Police Department.
It has not been determined who checked on Wurzelbacher, or why, The Dispatch reported.
The investigation could become “criminal in nature,” attorney general’s office spokeswoman Jennifer Brindisi told The Dispatch.

I know. Only good in theory. It does sound nice in theory. My teachers would make it seem like Utopia. When I was a freshman a long time ago, I remember the prof. talking about socialism and how work is a grind. If we were living in a socialist nation, we would be able to work half the time and actually live life (fish, paint, visit with people, dream–stress-free). Believe me. I thought it was an excellent idea. Why wouldn’t that sound great? c) The real object of the game is “Billable Hours” (it’s what citizens used to call “Seeking Justice Through the Courts”)

AYERS, OBAMA & SCHOOLS
Ayers is a friend of Obama, and Professor Ayers’s expertise is training teachers and developing public school curriculum. That’s been his mission since he gave up planting bombs in government buildings (including the U.S. Capitol and the Pentagon) and assaulting police officers.
Ayers’s political views are as radical now as they were in the 1970s. “Viva President Chavez!” he exclaimed in a speech in Venezuela in 2006, in which he also declared, “education is the motor-force of revolution.”
From his prestigious and safe university position, Ayers has been teaching teachers and students in rebellion against American capitalism and what he calls “imperialism” and “oppression.” The code words for the Ayers curriculum are “social justice.”

Is an appointment to the U.S. Department of Education his next career advancement? Is Ayers’s transformative public school curriculum the kind of “change” Obama will bring us?

But Mayor Michael Bloomberg and schools chancellor Joel Klein’s project to break up many of the system’s dysfunctional large high schools and replace them with new small schools has spawned many more. The Department of Education’s website lists at least 15 of the new small high schools that either are explicitly named as social justice schools or whose mission statements declare that their curricula center on social justice concerns. Curiously, while left-wing community organizations, including ultraradical Acorn, helped create some of these schools, some have also received funding from über-capitalist Bill Gates’s charitable foundation. Lenin quipped that “a capitalist will sell you the rope to hang him with.” Now it seems he just gives it to you.

First, the American people lives in a bubble; majority of people in this country especially the new generation believes the government must take care of them, that society owes them a living and a good life. The pioneering spirit of the old is dying slowly like an ember and soon would turn into ashes. Children are raised not given any responsibilities and held accountable for their actions. Excuses are given for any kind of malfeasance committed by individuals or groups, a sure sign of deteriorating society. Being truthful, saying things as is in this country is considered racist, coldhearted, uncaring, politically incorrect. “Tolerance is only for people who doesn’t believe in anything;” it means anything goes just to avoid ruffling feathers because of the fear being labeled as hateful.
Second, Citizens of this country are spoiled; it adapted an attitude “I want it I must have it by hook or by crook.” The adults become children themselves. They’ve forgotten something very basic; when you expect the government to do everything for you, you’ve given them the right to take everything from you for the good of all.
Some of you have finally waken up from your long slumber because your own safety net is now under siege. No more safety line being thrown at you, you’re being reeled in; you have to save yourself and join the few fighting for survival of this country. You’re seeing this all over your neighborhood, watch a child demand something from their parents shamelessly, this children will become adults soon; they too would expect society to give in to their demands.
Here comes NObama, a savvy nice talking politician who caters EXACTLY to spoiled brats; they don’t have to work, the government will take care of them from the cradle to the grave. It sounds like paradise, it sounds like heaven – the theory of NObama is very appealing, seductive; it becomes a Nirvana to the thinking impaired until they’re hit with reality. That reality is, all are equally POOR except the elite and those in power; they will control95% of US population and that includes people like Warren Buffett.

Thirteen campaign workers for Barack Obama yesterday yanked their voter registrations and ballots in Ohio after being warned by a prosecutor that temporary residents can’t vote in the battleground state.
A dozen staffers – including Obama Ohio spokeswoman Olivia Alair and James Cadogan, who recently joined Team Obama – signed a form letter asking the Franklin County elections board to pull their names from the rolls.
The letter – a copy of which was obtained by palestra.net, a Fox News affiliate – came a day after prosecutor Ron O’Brien publicly urged out-of-state campaign workers for both Obama and John McCain to “examine your conscience” before the elections board beings begins opening absentee ballots today.
Earlier in the week, O’Brien spoke with lawyers for both camps and urged them to make sure their staffs met permanent-residency rules, or face possible felony charges.
Also pulling his ballot yesterday was Hofstra University grad Jake Smith, an Obama volunteer who had voted in Knox County, Ohio.

It was different than the National Guard today who seem to be the first to go to Iraq. POSTMODERNISM AND YOU: EDUCATION

“African Americans, Asian Americans, Puerto Ricans/Latinos, and Native Americans have all been the victims of an intellectual and educational oppression that has characterized the culture and institutions of the United States and the European world for centuries.”
This statement begins the report recently generated for the state of New York by a task force commissioned to revise their history curriculum. The report was entitled: “A Curriculum of Inclusion, Report of the Commissioner’s Task Force on Minorities: Equity and Excellence.”
The report goes on to say that
“[This] systematic bias toward Europe and its derivatives . . . [has had] a terribly damaging effect on the psyche of young people of African, Asian, Latino, and Native American descent . . . [this] European-American monocultural perspective . . . [explains why] large numbers of children of non-European descent are not doing as well as expected.”
Statements like these are manifestations of postmodernism as it impacts public education.
Key Postmodern Educational Concepts
A key word to learn when trying to understand postmodern education is constructivism. Constructivism is the main underlying learning theory in postmodern education. The basic idea is that all knowledge is invented or “constructed” in the minds of people. Knowledge is not discovered as modernists would claim. In other words, the ideas teachers teach and students learn do not correspond to “Reality,” they are merely human constructions. Knowledge, ideas and language are created by people, not because they are “true,” but rather because they are useful.
Reality is a story. All reality exists, not objectively–out there–but in the mind of those who perceive it. Nobody’s version of reality can claim to have more objective authority because all versions are merely human creations.
No, we’re not kidding.
The implications of this view of knowledge are staggering, as Ruth Zuzovsky points out:
“Another major feature of this tentative, relativist, and instrumentalist [pragmatic] concept of knowledge is the equal worth of knowledge constructed by the learner, the teachers, or the scientists.” [emphasis ours]
If no one’s knowledge is necessarily true, everything changes. Now the question of what counts as “knowledge” to be taught in the schools is not a matter of objective evidence or arguments, but rather a matter of power. Those who have the power can make sure their constructs are the ones that dominate the curriculum, while other opposing viewpoints are at least partially suppressed, ignored or “marginalized.”
Teachers
Since the focus of the classroom, in postmodern education, becomes the student’s construction of knowledge, they shift away from a teacher-centered classroom to a more student-centered environment. Grayson Wheatley explains,
“Rather than identifying the set of skills [and knowledge] to be gotten in children’s heads, attention shifts to establishing learning environments conducive to children constructing their mathematics and science in social settings.”
A student-centered classroom in this context is likely to have minimal structure. It usually involves opportunities for social interaction, independent investigations and study, and the expression of creativity, as well as provision for different learning styles. There, students create knowledge, and are no longer forced to bow to the subjugation of traditional objective “knowledge.” As Everhard explains,
“School knowledge disables to the extent that it silences students, usurps their minds or at least demands acquiescence . . .[such knowledge] usually places boundaries between emotion and knowledge; students do not control knowledge, but rather ‘must write their student roles and scenarios in conformity to the teacher’s master script.’”
So, Selase Williams, and others argue that AAL (African American Language) is a regular language like Spanish or Japanese. He shows that statements like, “Shanita bin pass dat tes,” means “Shanita passed that test a long time ago.” The difference, he argues is that AAL arises from an African linguistic base. Therefore, inner city kids should be taught in AAL as their mother tongue, with English as a second language. (“Classroom Use of African American Language: Educational Tool or Social Weapon?” in Christine E. Sleeter, Ed. Empowerment Through Multicultural Education, p. 205-207) Anything less would be sheer exploitation.
Likewise, Glasersfel explains that in other areas of knowledge,
“The teacher would come to realize that what he or she presents as a ‘problem’ may be seen differently by the student. Consequently, the student may produce a sensible solution that makes no sense to the teacher. To be then told that it is wrong is unhelpful and inhibiting . . . because it disregards the effort the student put in.”
Here, then, we see postmodern relativism at work in a menacing fashion. Children not taught right from wrong, even in areas like science and social studies. Will their employers be so tolerant?
Teachers in Postmodern Education
At least under postmodern theory we aren’t guilty of an even worse crime according to postmodern scholar, Johnella Butler, who warns that “the colonization of minds is characteristic of American education.”
In other words, when dominant culture calls on minorities to speak classroom English, do math, history and science the white man’s way, they have acted in the old colonial role, just like earlier Europeans who believed it was their responsibility to colonize non-white cultures and lands, imposing European standards, dress, religion and language on those cultures.
Values
Okay, so they don’t want to impose the teacher’s “reality” on students, why go to school?
Actually, they have a definite set of values they hope to inculcate:
striving for diversity– guarding, unchanged, the existing values, tastes and way of life of each subculture in our society.
equality–In postmodern ideology, equality means equal in terms of power relationships
tolerance and freedom–tolerance has a new meaning: roughly, never negating or criticizing oppressed groups. Freedom for cultures and communities to express themselves
the importance of creativity–Creativity is clearly allied to the postmodern emphases on the construction of knowledge and diversity. Stimulating and affirming creativity in students is important in constructing knowledge and values, particularly, if diverse viewpoints are to be encouraged
the importance of emotions– Affirmation of emotions follows along with the importance they place on self-esteem. They believe that any time children’s emotions are challenged (even hate or selfish jealousy) the child is being disabled by having the teacher’s reality imposed on her
the importance of intuition–intuition gains in importance, because rational thought has lost its authority as a means for dealing with ideas. Modernists tend to suppress intuition and feelings, according to postmodernists, even though they are just as legitimate and perhaps even more important than rational, conceptual (or “linear”) thought

You’re not disagreeing with me – some elements of this philosophy are timely and good. But when this philosophy is taken to the extreme – that Western culture is evil and should be eradicated and replaced with other cultures, that’s when it’s harmful. We might accept this thinking in intellectuals, but is it appropriate for the leader of our country to subscribe to such a radical philosophy?

Your post certainly does not offend me! I came to America as a young child, after WWII, and worked (manual labor) since the age of nine – never looking or asking for anything I did not earn.
Sad to say, I did not instill in my children the same work ethic, giving them all that they needed (not wanted, if I could!!!!!) – and have not taught them to be accountable and responsible for their own actions, as well as I should have to make their lives easier as adults.
Now, my daughter is a young widow with four childen (ages 4-8) and there is only so much I can do to help. My son had/has ‘special needs’, but with much work on my part, is a productive member of society, who finds it hard to do without the ‘wants’ in life. Enough said!
This country is so f’d up because people do not know how to delay gratification. IMAGINE if there were no credit cards and no such thing as ‘credit’. My father always paid cash for his cars and bought a house with the GI Loan that he paid up in five years. My children have no education loans!
IMAGINE, today you can get a car loan for seven years, when the car last less than five years. Just like the chicanary on Wall Street. Borrow with slight of hand and make believe you have the money to pay it back. What a mess!

When the New People’s Republic was rampant, then those living off-base (which I did) were under Martial Law. I know what you mean, our family has our own private army, we had M.O. shoot to kill anyone who pass our property after 6pm without a light. What made it hard for our clan, we’re protecting the people from Marcos regime while the NPA (New Peoples Army) was trying to kill us. It was the years of living dangerously, it was pure nightmare. You can’t say anything against the government or you’ll have lead poisoning, the NPA thought you’re for the government, they want to kill you too. My parents wanted all of us to move here in USA, they’re both US citizens, but we, their children stop them because our cousins would be left there. So we stayed until the bitter end. Every time I go home for vacation, I always cry once the airplane landed in Philippine soil. I never forget what my generation had gone through, hundreds of thousands paid with their lives. They’re still finding mass graves up to now, skulls with single gunshot wound (execution). I’ve lost many friends and classmates I’ve known since I was a kid.

My husband and I are in the financial business and the media would have you believe that the crisis was only based on the collapse of the banks. There was never a “magic bullet” solution to ease the pain of wall street. Fact is, there are so many components that lead to this meltdown. The credit market WAS drying up and companies, colleges, small businesses couldn’t get a loan to buy supplies, materials and to do payroll. If McCain had used the bailout as a way to reinforce his “maverick” image, then I would have been disappointed. The economic crisis is very serious, and I blame the media for stoking the fire and Bernanke and Paulsson for doing such a piss poor job of presenting the facts to the American people.

One couple, retired teacherand the other a retired history professor, are very popular in the neighborhood and influential in the neighborhood.
Well, for the last couple month they have done their best to tolerate me and they do read all the articles from here that I print out to take to them. Like about Ayers, about the Arab influence and campaign donations, Rezko, lack of available information which all the other candidates have made readily available.
I think it’s working becuse the people either don’t say anything or don’t look at me anymore.
Two days ago, the woman who is a good friend of mine said, “Oh, Ashleigh, did you read about the amount of money that was spent on Sarah Palin’s wardrobe?”
I said, “Yes, I have. And it pales in comparison to the phenomenal amount of money Obama hs spent on his campaign. In fact, I think it’s almost criminal, especially in light of all his promises to help other people.”
That’s when I pulled out the printed copy of his expenditures that appeared here on the blog last week.
She glanced at it and said, “OMG, I’ll have to read this.”
And I know, of course, that it will make the rounds of the neighborhood. I think I am their only alternative to MSM news source.

Re garding the Judge’s ruling: I stated early on that I couldfind no law dring the primarrieson the books which required the presentation of documentation re citizenship for a candidate to qualify as President and that apparently the laws of the country in this area were behind the movement in this country re candidate who now presents himself as such. It seems to me that is what the Judge has found as well. Up to the candidacy of Barack Obama and now , we do not apparently have a law which says if you wish to qualify for the Presidency you must present, as each of us has to do all over the place, to do many things in the country now…a vault copy of your citizenship. Ourlaws are behind certain issues of the day…and if you think Obigo did not know that you are naive.

I am sure that is what happened to my computer. It is gone. It was either the API site, or BO map of Nevada which showed Africa. I have a friend who said that those sites may have been set up for our groups because they knew we would visit. I can’t tell if this is paranoia or fact as I am not that savy with computers or viruses. My computer is toast.

So true. The agencies that are supposed to protect us and enforce our laws ain’t doing such a hot job these days – from the financial meltdown to the election mess.
But, I have to agree with the Judge in the Berg case. “Standing” is one of the keystones of any lawsuit. If you do not have standing to briong the suit, you are out before you start.
The standing requirement is there to in part prevent chaos in the system. People cannot act as their own criminal prosecutors because they do not have standing to enforce criminal laws. We have branches of government that are supposed to do that for us.
What I did not quite understand with Berg, is that he knew he was bucking a fairly well settled line of voter standing cases here. There IS a remedy for “Joe voter” when the government fails to do its job which Berg did not pursue.
It is not quite as glamorous, since the remedy in question essentially asks a court to force an agency to do its job by way of court order. The remedy in question is a writ of mandamus. In filing an action for a writ ofm mandamus (mandamus= mandate), you lay out the law, the agency’s responsibility, the facts supporting your claim that the agency has ignored its duties, and any actual or constructive notice of violations the agency had and ignored.
The court then rules, and if it agres that the agency fell down on the job, it orders them to do their job. Certainly not a glamorous remedy for a lawyer looking for some press, since it gives the agency in quesiton another chance to do what it is supposed to do.
But the remedy does have teeth – if the agency still fails to perform its duties or ignores the writ, the agency and its personnel can be held in comtempt for violating the court order. That can include jail time.
The agencies in question would include the FEC, the secretaries of state in each state, and any other agency tasked with enforcing election laws and requirements.

But my point is somewhat simpler: The law which states the requirements for what one must do to be considered a lawful candidate for the Presidency does not specify anywhere to my knowledge that one must present either proof of citizenship by way of any document whatsover. It states one must be a n. citizen. Up to now, no one apparently ever imagined anyone attempting to run for the Presidency without being a citizen. If in the current law, no actual requirement exists to present this proof as a part of one being eligible to run, then there is not law stating one must do so? Correct? And any other run or use of other legal practices you for example give would be a long haul now in the face of the short haul time we have.
That’s a real disappointment about the Berg lawsuit, but i thought from the get-go that it needed to be done by a much more powerful law firm, and that’s not meant to disparage Mr. Berg in any way. He just doesn’t have the financial resources to get the support a case like this needs. If he appeals, the outcome will probably be the same, and even if he succeeds, it will be long after the election is over. If this election is fair, I am confident that McCain will win. But . . . I happen to be a believer in the conspiracy theory in the JFK case and think it’s possible for anything in the government to be covered up. I understand why the Dems are rabid about winning, but I don’t understand why they are so rabid about BO. They could have easily had the win with Hillary. So it makes me think something very unsavory is behind all of this, probably linked to money. I hope the RNC is successful in it’s complaint to the FEC about BO’s contributions. The Alaska National Guard is unusual in that its jobs include manning part of the U.S. missile defense system. The 49th Missile Defense Battalion works on interceptor missiles designed to shoot down intercontinental missiles.
The bread-and-butter duties of most state National Guards are natural disasters. During Palin’s 21 months in office, there has been one declared disaster: widespread flooding in June and July this year. Palin quickly signed a disaster declaration, officials said. The Guard’s role was limited to providing two water tanks and 30,000 sandbags to local authorities.
The Alaska Air National Guard, with 1,946 service members, is involved in an exceptional number of search-and-rescue missions. Since Palin became governor in December 2006, the Air Guard has flown 521 missions, saving 200 lives and assisting with the rescue of 77 more people, said Kalei Brooks, a spokeswoman for the Alaska Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
“Our rescue squadron is the busiest in the nation,” she said.
In recent years, the department has overseen a reorganization of the 1,900-member Army National Guard. Following a U.S. Army restructuring plan, officials have helped assign soldiers to new units.
But training requirements for Guard units are established not by governors, but by the Army, the Air Force and the National Guard Bureau.
“That requirement comes down from the United States Army and Air Force,” Allen said. “But that training and that equipment become very important when they are needed within the states.”
I wrote earlier on “Sarah Palin’s National Security Credentials,” and that essay’s a bit more favorable to Palin’s commander-in-chief role than the Times.
Note too, Senator Joseph Lieberman has been briefing Palin on national security, and with the Alaska Governor’s sharp wit and obvious political instincts, I doubt she’s going to have much difficulty handling her responsibilities, even if that means assuming the presidency in a national crisis.

You are correct. In the absence of specific requirements, those tasked with the electoral process are required to employ those practices dictated by prudence reasonabbly necessary to carry out the intentions of the law at issue.
One would think that the simple act of verifying one’s birthrite would fall into the prudent and reasonably necessary category. It is a process one must go through for enrollment in a primary school or for employment with the federal government in a position with a security clearance. I don’t know exactly what the process is, but from the sounds of it the authorities are defaulting to reliance on the respective political parties to ensure compliance with the TWO requirements set forrth in the Constitution. I hope people are feeling better. I woke up with a renewed fighting spirit. Don’t know where it came from. I guess I realized that we are the October surprise.
Here’s another article that discusses the economy. I have to disagree with people who think we can create a more egalitarian society by redistributing wealth. I do believe we should take care of those that can’t take care of themselves (and we need better school systems), but it is better in the long-run if those who are healthy go out and make their own opportunities. If we create a society that expects the state to care for most of their needs we are going to have to keep taxing people more and more, which will in turn kill people’s initiative to work harder to make more money (since those who make more will get taxed more). I am not wealthy myself and I believe in paying taxes, but there should be a limit. The middle class can’t take care of everyone (believe me, if wealthy Republicans are out there supposedly supporting BO’s economic plan it is because they know it won’t really affect them, but the middle class will feel it).

I would consider being part of a class action suit. I would want to read the Motion before I would agree to add my name. The objective would be to raise awareness and create a public outcry for transparency. This is not something to undertake lightly.

I’m multi-lingual, I speak at least 6 filipino languages fluently (oral and written). I also speak fluent chinese, but I can’t read chinese characters except those characters in Mahjong set. You would laugh at this, my brother living in Ireland has 4 kids, his 3 daughters speaks gaelic, english, spanish and some filipino languages (at least 3 filipino language). This is the funniest part, every time I call in Belfast (once a week), I talk to the two little ones, they talk to me in gaelic then automatically translate it in english. I asked my brother what’s the matter with his kids; he said their playmates speaks gaelic, his children pick it up right away. He’s worried his children will sell him and he wouldn’t even know about it. The youngest is a bit naughty, she’s only 3 years old; whenever my brother scold her (she’s a handful) she’d pick up her plastic telephone and say “Police!!! Daddy is mean!”…..hahahahaha!

COLUMBUS, Ohio – An Ohio man has been charged with making a death threat against the state’s top elections official.
The State Highway Patrol says Dana McArtor was charged Friday with intimidation in a telephoned threat to the office of Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner (BROO’-nur).
Brunner spokesman Jeff Ortega says the call last Friday threatened to kill the secretary of state. Her office says it has been inundated with threats during a busy season of voter lawsuits and alleged registration irregularities.
The 51-year-old Columbus man remains jailed. He is to be arraigned Saturday.
A message was left at a phone listing for the address on his court record. The record didn’t indicate whether he had an attorney.

Speaking of “undecideds”…. one of the comments in the AmericanThinker article I posted early in this thread said they thought many of the “undecideds” were really “unannounced” or something like that. I agree. I find it really hard to believe that 11% still aren’t decided. It’s possible that, like that commenter said, many of them already decided but didn’t feel comfortable in giving out their decision for one reason or another- MAYBE it’s because they didn’t want to be accused a “racist” or “unAmerican” for NOT voting for BO!

A Prayer for America

The following speech was given on February 17, 2002 in Los Angeles, California at an event sponsored by the Southern California Americans for Democratic Action.
I offer these brief remarks today as a prayer for our country, with love of democracy, as a celebration of our country. With love for our country. With hope for our country. With a belief that the light of freedom cannot be extinguished as long as it is inside of us. With a belief that freedom rings resoundingly in a democracy each time we speak freely. With the understanding that freedom stirs the human heart and fear stills it. With the belief that a free people cannot walk in fear and faith at the same time.
With the understanding that there is a deeper truth expressed in the unity of the United States. That implicit in the union of our country is the union of all people. That all people are essentially one. That the world is interconnected not only on the material level of economics, trade, communication, and transportation, but innerconnected through human consciousness, through the human heart, through the heart of the world, through the simply expressed impulse and yearning to be and to breathe free.
I offer this prayer for America.
Let us pray that our nation will remember that the unfolding of the promise of democracy in our nation paralleled the striving for civil rights. That is why we must challenge the rationale of the Patriot Act. We must ask why should America put aside guarantees of constitutional justice?
How can we justify in effect canceling the First Amendment and the right of free speech, the right to peaceably assemble?
How can we justify in effect canceling the Fourth Amendment, probable cause, the prohibitions against unreasonable search and seizure?
How can we justify in effect canceling the Fifth Amendment, nullifying due process, and allowing for indefinite incarceration without a trial?
How can we justify in effect canceling the Sixth Amendment, the right to prompt and public trial?
How can we justify in effect canceling the Eighth Amendment which protects against cruel and unusual punishment?
We cannot justify widespread wiretaps and internet surveillance without judicial supervision, let alone with it.
We cannot justify secret searches without a warrant.
We cannot justify giving the Attorney General the ability to designate domestic terror groups.
We cannot justify giving the FBI total access to any type of data which may exist in any system anywhere such as medical records and financial records.
We cannot justify giving the CIA the ability to target people in this country for intelligence surveillance.
We cannot justify a government which takes from the people our right to privacy and then assumes for its own operations a right to total secrecy.
The Attorney General recently covered up a statue of Lady Justice showing her bosom as if to underscore there is no danger of justice exposing herself at this time, before this administration.
Let us pray that our nation’s leaders will not be overcome with fear. Because today there is great fear in our great Capitol. And this must be understood before we can ask about the shortcomings of Congress in the current environment.
The great fear began when we had to evacuate the Capitol on September 11.
It continued when we had to leave the Capitol again when a bomb scare occurred as members were pressing the CIA during a secret briefing.
It continued when we abandoned Washington when anthrax, possibly from a government lab, arrived in the mail.
It continued when the Attorney General declared a nationwide terror alert and then the Administration brought the destructive Patriot Bill to the floor of the House.
It continued in the release of the bin Laden tapes at the same time the President was announcing the withdrawal from the ABM treaty.
It remains present in the cordoning off of the Capitol.
It is present in the camouflaged armed national guardsmen who greet members of Congress each day we enter the Capitol campus.
It is present in the labyrinth of concrete barriers through which we must pass each time we go to vote.
The trappings of a state of siege trap us in a state of fear, ill-equipped to deal with the Patriot Games, the Mind Games, the War Games of an unelected President and his unelected Vice President.
Let us pray that our country will stop this war. “To promote the common defense” is one of the formational principles of America.
Our Congress gave the President the ability to respond to the tragedy of September 11. We licensed a response to those who helped bring the terror of September 11th. But we the people and our elected representatives must reserve the right to measure the response, to proportion the response, to challenge the response, and to correct the response.
Because we did not authorize the invasion of Iraq.
We did not authorize the invasion of Iran.
We did not authorize the invasion of North Korea.
We did not authorize the bombing of civilians in Afghanistan.
We did not authorize permanent detainees in Guantanamo Bay.
We did not authorize the withdrawal from the Geneva Convention.
We did not authorize military tribunals suspending due process and habeas corpus.
We did not authorize assassination squads.
We did not authorize the resurrection of COINTELPRO.
We did not authorize the repeal of the Bill of Rights.
We did not authorize the revocation of the Constitution.
We did not authorize national identity cards.
We did not authorize the eye of Big Brother to peer from cameras throughout our cities.
We did not authorize an eye for an eye.
Nor did we ask that the blood of innocent people, who perished on September 11, be avenged with the blood of innocent villagers in Afghanistan.
We did not authorize the administration to wage war anytime, anywhere,anyhow it pleases.
We did not authorize war without end.
We did not authorize a permanent war economy.
Yet we are upon the threshold of a permanent war economy. The President has requested a $45.6 billion increase in military spending. All defense-related programs will cost close to $400 billion.
Consider that the Department of Defense has never passed an independent audit.
Consider that the Inspector General has notified Congress that the Pentagon cannot properly account for $1.2 trillion in transactions.
Consider that in recent years the Dept. of Defense could not match $22 billion worth of expenditures to the items it purchased, wrote off, as lost, billions of dollars worth of in-transit inventory and stored nearly $30 billion worth of spare parts it did not need.
Yet the defense budget grows with more money for weapons systems to fight a cold war which ended, weapon systems in search of new enemies to create new wars. This has nothing to do with fighting terror.
This has everything to do with fueling a military industrial machine with the treasure of our nation, risking the future of our nation, risking democracy itself with the militarization of thought which follows the militarization of the budget.
Let us pray for our children. Our children deserve a world without end. Not a war without end. Our children deserve a world free of the terror of hunger, free of the terror of poor health care, free of the terror of homelessness, free of the terror of ignorance, free of the terror of hopelessness, free of the terror of policies which are committed to a world view which is not appropriate for the survival of a free people, not appropriate for the survival of democratic values, not appropriate for the survival of our nation, and not appropriate for the survival of the world.
Let us pray that we have the courage and the will as a people and as a nation to shore ourselves up, to reclaim from the ruins of September 11th our democratic traditions.

A different way to look at how taxes are paid.

Suppose that each day, 10 men go out for beer and the bill for all 10
comes to $100.
If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go like
this:
The first 4 men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The 5th would pay $1.
The 6th would pay $3.
The 7th would pay $7.
The 8th would pay $12.
The 9th would pay $18.
The 10th man (the richest) would pay $59.
So that’s what they did.The 10 men drank each day and were happy with
the arrangement, until one day the owner threw them a curve.
“Since you are such good customers, I’m going to reduce the cost of
your beer by $20.” Drinks for the 10 now cost $80.
The group still wanted to pay the bill the way we pay our taxes so
the first 4 men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But
what about the other 6 men – the paying customers? How could they
divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his ‘fair share?’
They realized that $20 divided by 6 is $3.33. But if they subtracted
that from each share, then the 5th man and the 6th man would each end
up being paid to drink his beer.
So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each
man’s bill like a tax break, and he began to work out the amounts
each should pay.
And so:
The 5t h man, like the first 4, now paid nothing (100% savings).
The 6th now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).
The 7th now paid $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).
The 8th now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).
The 9th now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings).
The 10th now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).
Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four
continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men
began to compare their savings.
“I only got a dollar out of the $20,”declared the 6th man. He pointed
to the 10th man,” but he got $10!”
“Yeah, that’s right,” exclaimed the 5th man. “I only saved $1,
too. It’s unfair that he got 10X more than I!”
“That’s true!” shouted the 7th man. “Why should he get $10 back
when I got only 2? The wealthy get all the breaks!”
“Wait a minute,” yelled the first 4 men in unison. “We didn’t get
anything at all. The system exploits the poor!”
The 9 men surrounded the 10th and beat him up.
The next night the 10th man didn’t show up, so the 9
sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the
bill, they discovered something important. They didn’t have enough
money between
all of them for even half of the bill! And that”s how our tax
system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most
benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for
being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they
might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat
friendlier.
For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For liberals no explanation is possible.

Don’t worry about the Berg lawsuit issue. That was a long shot anything would happen before election day anyway. Just remember to trust in We the People. We the People will do the right thing and not turn our country over to Obama!! I just have this very strong intuitive feeling that McCain is going to be prez. I keep having these visions of Brit Hume on Fox News on election night, posting a big photo of John and saying, “And so John McCain becomes the 44th president of the United States.” I can’t tell you how many times this has shown up in my dreams. The paper is in Vietnamese, I just read through some of it and there’s nothing in it about the election nor their preference for O-fraud. My mom lives in San Jose, CA (largest Vietnamese population outside of Vietnam). Our family loves McCain for his strange connection to our community and so do the Vietnamese who lives in the bay area. She said the vietnamese tv and radio stations are bashing O-bobo big time. She rarely watches the msm but when I mentioned Palin, she said “how come the media is always picking on her?” Momma is wise, and she didn’t raise no fool either. Fight on PUMAs.

(CNN) – In yet another sign that Democrats are putting the contentious and hard-fought primary season behind them, former President Bill Clinton will campaign with Sen. Barack Obama for the first time in Florida on Wednesday, according to Matt McKenna of the Clinton Foundation.
Sen. Hillary Clinton will not attend the event but did recently campaign with Obama in Florida, a crucial battleground state that CNN currently considers a toss-up.
The Clintons also recently campaigned together with Sen. Joe Biden and Biden’s wife, Jill, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where both Joe Biden and Sen. Clinton have roots.
Obama met personally with former President Clinton in September at Clinton’s Harlem offices. Then, Clinton predicted that Obama would win in November “pretty handily.”

Obama has been running an ad in PA which claims that McCain will cut medicare by $882 million/billion? Whatever amount he claims is wrong according to factcheck.org. I’ve sent letters to senior friends who believe all his crap.
You know, in one of the Primary debates, he said in an offhand way that he would accept help from anyone. – even Hillary (who was there). At the time, I knew it was wrong; now I realize how much it explains. He has taken from Wright. He has taken from Rezko. ETC. And sadly, he has taken and taken from Hillary. The man has no scruples.
So now I have to wonder. Does he feel he owes favors to all these people. Or does he figure it is OK to throw all of them under the bus?
Here’s another question I have: Say he gets to our Oval Office, will he begin trying for that world position he keeps talking about. It was just a week or two ago in Londonderry NH where he vowed he would change the world. (This was reported in UK paper; I have the link.) Londonderry was also where he cancelled out on the high school boy who had been asked to sing The Star Spangled Banner. Seems that was cancelled because a few more people wanted to speak.
His not appearing to be patriotic also plays into his scheme for the world. How can he be ‘all America’ if he wants to lead all nations. Is he going to form his own United Nations?
So many questions. He reminds me of a cat. Once he gets to a new place, he begins to look for the next higher place he can reach.

Flyer Day in Florida
I had an interesting day putting out yard signs, posters, stickers and flyers here in Florida. There was a long line at the early voting place an hour before it opened that continued throughout the morning so I did not vote. I have been waiting because I do not know what to do on the downstream ticket. I was going to vote McCain and all down Dems, but I am having a hard time voting for one on the ballot because he sold his pledge to BO. I finally decided today, I would just not vote on that one.
I was driving by the voter regisration one more time to check on the line when I saw an O’bot on the corner with a Obama sign. The McCain/Palin stickers I had put up by there, had been taken down and it pissed me off.
So I got out a McCain/Palin rally sign and started holding it up on the other side of the street. What made the situation even more interesting was that the O’bot and I were 50+ white women in a predominantly African American neighborhood.
I stood there for about an hour, holding up my sign and smiling. McCain supporters waved more than they honked. They may not be making noise but they are there. Some people asked questions. I handed out some of Freddies Flyers.
Then, there were the nasty ones. I got a few F— McCains and an obscene gesture or two. But the true pig award did go to a heckler of the O’bot for the N word. I sure hope he was not a McCain supporter.
I think the O’bot got more honks and most of the O yelling was from young African American males. I could appreciate the sentiment if not the object of it (fraud! exploiter!). After about an hour of this, I decided my time would be better spent elsewhere and just stopped to fix one of the stickers that I had put up. I wanted that O’bot to know I knew she had messed with my stickers. So I took my ladder out and fixed the sticker.
As I was leaving, an Officer of the Law stopped to advise me that I was indulging in risky behavior. I did not explain to him about PUMAs but just agreed and left.

It’s All Ground Game Now

Something big is happening in Northern Virginia. I have been out of the country for a week and I came back home to the place I was born, raised and where I raised my family to find I did not recognize it. The area has become obsessed with the presidential election! There are signs everywhere and it looks to be a dead heat between McCain and Obama.
Why is this abnormal? We live inside the DC Political Industrial Complex. Politics is as normal as Starbucks and McDonalds around here. People rarely get that jazzed up to the point of strewing signs across every yard. Many folks also work in the federal government and tend to keep their views pretty much low key.
So when I came back and saw the battle of the lawn sign raging like I have never seen in my adult life I was stunned.
Even more news greeted my return which surprised me and gave me hope. LJStrata (my better half) and DJStrata (oldest daughter) attended the Fairfax County GOP Organization Meeting with district chairs and precinct captains working with volunteers to Get Out The Vote (GOTV). The meeting drew around 400-500 hundred people and stunned the coordinators, who have never seen turnout like this on the GOP side. And the GOP has been the best at this for years.
To put this in context I am told that Obama has 400 paid GOTV leaders in the entire state of Virginia. I get the feeling that we are going to, once again, see the difference in intensity between the paid activists and the motivated volunteer.
DJStrata also attended the Obama rally in Leesburg, VA last week an noticed something very strange. 10,000 people attended the Obama rally, but almost half of them left halfway through his speech. At McCain-Palin rallies people keep coming all the way to the end.
I am going to be making a prediction on VA based on the crowd size of the Palin event at Leesburg this coming Monday. Back in September McCain-Palin attracted 23,000 in the center of Fairfax County (Fairfax City to be exact). This is an area Obama cannot afford to lose or even tie in. He has to win big and I am not sure it is happening for him.
Yes, I can see the polls, but I keep seeing independent data that shows Palin may be turning this race around on the ground. I think there is a wave building against the DC/NY Political Industrial Complex(PIC) – which is definitely the target of the public’s ire regarding that 90% wrong track polling. And the Democrat Congress is also highly visible in that wrong track number and a major part of the NY/DC PIC.
So when Americans see a ticket with two Democrat members of Congress on it they have to be wondering what is the point? And then there is the Maverick Senator and his outsider VP. Governor Sarah Palin is one of us normal Americans who simply rolled up her sleeves and tried to make things better – and succeeded. The NY/DC PIC has been in full arrogant apoplexy that one of the common folks has dared to try and brake into national leadership. The crap that spewed from the left and right at Governor Palin and her family was just the kind of crap Americans are fed up with coming from the PIC on ANY subject, let alone targeted at We The People.
Let’s see how the Palin rally does, and if it does well I think I would be ready to declare the polls a lost cause and a November VA surprise here in the Commonwealth.
Update: I meant to point out that, according to Gallup, the early voting is not benefitting Obama at all:
This data is interesting because it begins to look at votes cast, it is the first of the exit data. And contrary to the bottom line numbers in the Gallup turnout models, which show Obama up anywhere from +5% to +12%, in actual votes cast or planned to be cast he is tied! Now how is that mathematically possible? It really shouldn’t be possible. The exit polls in the same survey should mimic the survey bottom line – but the don’t. This is another mathematical indication the pollsters have totally lost the pulse of the electorate.
And recall that Obama’s vaunted GOTV effort in Ohio fell horribly short during an early voting window that was tailored made to get him massive new votes. He only got 20% of his target then, which is one of the problems with targeting non-traditional voters. They are non-traditional for a reason.
Update: I should also note the one thing the Obama GOTV effort seems to be wasting its time with is destruction of McCain-Palin signs. As noted at Powerline, many GOP signs are mangled and ripped apart (only to be replaced or fixed). This is not going unnoticed by the voters.
I went and stood in line for 3 hours to early vote. Got in the booth and checked Democrat, and it automatically checked off oshithead. I had to figure out how to take the check mark out and put it in for McCain. I finally did, and voted down ticket for the dems that stood by Hillary, and everyone else out. I also went this morning at my usual 3am rounds and passed out flyers to all the stores etc.
When I got home, some guy came to put a o flyer on my door, I opened up the door and said to take it back, I just voted for McCain. He said “I don’t blame you! I am too. I asked him why he was passing out o flyers…..I am unemployed, and he pays $100.00 a day. I gave him some Puma flyers, he said he would pass them out in his town, there are still a lot of undecideds there!
Dances, somehow the bold disappeared when I added my name, to the list.
As HRC donors could we sue BO for fraud?

My state does mail-in voting in 37 of the 39 counties. I just checked on-line for my county and 16.52% of the ballots have already been returned. I did an informal poll of almost two dozen people I know and how they are voting. It’s an even split between McCain and BO.

Thank you very much for your post. I am seeing more McCain-Palin sign here in my city too. There was one house I saw weeks ago full of NObama signs, then all the yard sign disappear. I think the homeowner removed all the signs. There’s one area here campaigners can put a sign, I haven’t seen a single NObama sign, I saw a huge McCain sign everyone can read and other campaign signs of Republican candidates. The young people I’ve talked to last month voted for straight Republican ticket last week using their absentee ballot. My niece in San Francisco is campaigning for John McCain, she have converted a lot of her fellow nurses to vote for McCain; like her they don’t want to pay more taxes. Asians are not sold out with NObama, my friend in LA is busy campaigning for McCain, he’s doing it one person at a time. He’s targetting asians who are leaning towards NObama.

Hey everyone! I went out and about today with Freddie’s flyers again. The first place I went was the mall just before it opened and put flyers all up and down the mall and the show area. Then I went to Goody’s. I wanted to try on some clothes that I liked. I took some flyers with me to the dressing room and I put one in almost every stall. Well, when I came out, I seen they were all gone. When I came out of the dressing room, there was a sales lady at her desk area and she looked up at me with a sneaky grin. I went on by and went up front looking at some more clothes. Then I seen this same sales lady with papers in her hand going up to the front and talking to another sales lady at the cash register. I was hiding behind the clothing trying to see what was going on. Then I seen she had my flyers. She left and went back to the back somewhere’s with my flyers. I guess she dumped them probably. I sure am glad I didn’t get in trouble.
The Judge’s ruling throwing out the Berg case is not surprising. One such was thrown out over Cheney being from the same state as Bush. Another was a smoke screan O’bot suit against McCain for being born in Panama. Of course, those did not involve matters of fact.
As I understand it, Berg is going to appeal, probably not in time. Neither Party seems to want to be held accountable to the People.
The fraudulent BC is just one more thing I put on my list of reasons why I will not vote BO.

It looks like it is up to us Pumas to do a PROWL to our congress and demand that a law be passed that when submitting an application to run for president, that person must show indisputable proof that they are a natural born citizen and must produce a vault copy of their BC.
I did receive a response to my fax to Cong. Mica (FL) and asked him to investigate and he basically said he saw no reason that BO was not a citizen and that if he weren’t surely one of the other candidates running, such as Hillary would have brought it up.
