Remember the Primaries? Good times, good times

The wonderful Betty Jean reminded me this morning of how bad the caucus fraud was in January and February. Here’s a long snippet from the Clinton campaign’s complaint to the Nevada state party chair.

“The Committee” refers to the Hillary for President campaign committee.

Don’t forget, Pumas. The Obama campaign really DID steal the caucuses. They really, really did suppress, intimidate, and flat-out CHEAT their way to “victory.” It’s much more difficult to pull off this sort of crap in a federal election. But they’ll do WHATEVER they can to try. Giving $195 MILLION dollars to the mainstream media helps quite a bit too, of course. Jennifer Brunner in Ohio is helping too. Looks like Ed Rendell is a pretty good guy — there is NO intimation of any funny business in Pennsylvania (other than the ACORN shenanigans in Philadelphia, which isn’t coming from the governor).

Go to Pennsylvania with Harriet this weekend. Bus leaves Penn Station at 9am and returns by 9pm, Saturday and Sunday.

The next 11 days are going to get uglier by the hour. People hate us. They are outraged that we are still resisting. We’re doing EXACTLY what we said we were going to do on June 7th (read it again HERE for motivation). We’re here. Still Democrats, still outraged, STILL NOT VOTING FOR OBAMA.

I’ve heard that the msm is claiming we don’t exist anymore. That the PUMAS have all either given up or decided to vote Obama. Ha!

Have I mentioned that the obama campaign has PAID OFF THE MEDIA TO THE TUNE OF $195MILLION DOLLARS?

Not a crime, and I’m not claiming it is (although I feel pretty darn confident that when the FEC investigations are complete, some time in 2010 or so, we’ll learn just how CORRUPTED the obama donation machine was.) But, the bottom line is it’s been Christmas every day for the mainstream media ever since obama came to town and the one universal charecteristic of gravy trains, whether on Wall Street or in the offices of ACORN, is that nobody wants them to stop.

So. Take a long walk off a short pier Mainstream Media. More people read this blog today than they did in June, July, or August. Our numbers are through the roof. And thousands more find us every week.

We’ve had four million visits in 4 and a half months. More than HALF of those visited AFTER the convention.

So. Dream on Mainstream Media. The Pumas are here, and we’re not going away. Not until we have our own media, our own candidates, and our Democratic Party back.

“The Committee wishes to bring to your attention information we have received evidencing a premeditated and predesigned plan by the Obama campaign to engage in systematic corruption of the Party’s caucus procedures. Compounding this blatant distortion of the caucus rules was an egregious effort by the Obama campaign to manipulate the voter registration process in its own favor, thereby disenfranchising countless voters. Finally, the Committee has received a vast number of reliable reports of voter suppression and intimidation by the Obama campaign or its allies.

The Committee had 30 phone lines on Saturday to receive calls in its Las Vegas offices. These lines rang continuously from early morning until well after the caucuses concluded with reports from people who were victimized and who observed irregularities. The phone lines were so over-whelmed that many callers resorted to calling individual Committee staff cell phones to report that they could not get through. The Committee also received many similar calls at its national headquarters.

The Committee is confident that any investigation into the conduct of the caucuses will be thorough, fair and in the interest of insuring that future Party caucuses will be as open and democratic as possible.

Systematic Corruption of the Party’s Caucus Procedures

The Committee received substantially similar reports of improprieties of such a number as to leave no conclusion but that the Obama campaign and its allies and supporters engaged in a planned effort to subvert the Party’s caucus procedures to its advantage. For example:

  • Preference cards were premarked for Obama.
  • Clinton supporters were denied preference cards on the basis that none were left, while Obama supporters at the same caucus sites were given preference cards.
  • Caucus chairs obviously supporting Obama:
  • Deliberately miscounted votes to favor Senator Obama.
  • Deliberately counted unregistered persons as Obama votes.
  • Deliberately counted young children as Obama votes.
  • Refused to accept preference cards from Clinton supporters who were at the caucus site by noon on the ground that the cards were not filled out fast enough.
  • Told Clinton supporters to leave prior to electing delegates.
  • Clinton supporters who arrived late were turned away from the caucus, while late Obama supporters were admitted to the caucus.

Manipulation of the Voter Registration Process

Numerous reports received by the Committee demonstrate a concerted effort on the part of the Obama campaign and its supporters to prevent eligible voters supporting a candidate other than Senator Obama from caucusing. The Obama supporters complained of were acting in positions of authority at the caucus sites. Some of these reports are as follows:

  • Obama supporters wrongly informed Clinton supporters that they were not allowed to participate in the caucus if their names were not on the voter rolls. However, Obama supporters whose names did not appear on the voter rolls were permitted to register at the caucus site.
  • Obama supporters falsely informed Clinton supporters that no registration forms were available for them to register to vote at the caucus site.
  • Obama supporters wrongly told Clinton supporters who were attempting to caucus at the wrong precinct that they could not caucus at that site, while simultaneously permitting Obama supporters at the wrong precinct to participate.
  • Obama supporters were allowed to move to the front of the registration and sign-in line.

Voter Suppression and Intimidation
The Committee received a substantial number of disturbing reports from voters that they had been subject to harassment, intimidation or efforts to prevent them from voting. Some of the most egregious of these complaints are described below:

  • Voters at at-large caucus sites were informed that those sites were for Obama supporters only.
  • Clinton supporters at at-large caucus sites were told that their managers would be watching them while they caucused.
  • Workers were informed that their supervisors kept lists of Clinton and Obama supporters, and were told that they could not caucus unless their name was on the list of Obama supporters.
  • Many Clinton supporters were threatened with employment termination or other discipline if they caucused for Senator Clinton.
  • Workers were required to sign a pledge card to support Obama if they wanted time off to participate in the caucus.
  • Workers at one casino were offered a lavish lunch and permitted to attend and register to vote only if they agree to support Obama.

The complaints summarized above represent only a small sample of the complaints received by the Committee. With respect to each of these complaints and many more, the Committee has the names and phone numbers of those reporting these incidents and the specific precinct numbers where the incidents occurred. Upon request the Committee will share these with the Party with appropriate safeguards to protect these individuals from reprisal. On the whole, these reports show a troubling effort by the Obama campaign and its allies and supporters to advance their own campaign at the expense of the right of all Nevada Democrats to participate in the democratic process in a free, fair and open manner.

Great article. A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing.

The caucus situation that Murphy describes above is exactly what Obama plans to do with the “Employee Free Choice Act”– take away your secret ballot & remind you that your managers are watching how you vote

Does anyone know much about Carl Jung’s research on the precursor to the Holocaust?

For two years prior, many of his patients were having nightmares of the events that were to come.

He began to notice the similarities in the patients’ nightmares – who had no relationship to one another – and began documenting them as a study.

I cannot remember is his conclusion.

But, is anyone having nightmares?

Great summary of a despicable slime-fest of a primary.

I was typoing when the new thread popped up:
Ugh
Two email this morning from lifelong friends, now for O.
At least one of them doesn’t broach the subject, fine with me, really. The other manages to find a place toward the end of her email to slip in a swipe at me and Palin… !
unclear on concept.

All of this is reminding me that, since I left home at 16, and traveled whichever way the wind was blowing, it is relatively easy for me to say goodbye to people, no matter how deeply I care for them. I think I’m able to do this because of the feral aspect of my nature, but also because I always carry them in my heart (papercuts and all), regardless of whether I ever see or speak with them again. All of this has been good practice in dealing with the comings and goings of this past year.

The Numbers Don’t Lie (But The DNC Does)
http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/10/22/breaking-the-numbers-dont-lie-but-the-dnc-does/

“The bottom line is this – had the RBC not interfered, the difference between the PLEDGED delegates would have been – wait for it – 4 (FOUR). Yes, I said 4. And, while caucuses accounted for only 2.9% of voters, they accounted for over 14% of pledged delegates. Never even mind all of the massive caucus irregularities that benefited one person – Obama. Still, the bottom line difference: 4 delegates, AND Clinton won the popular vote. Holy smokes.”

SHORT LETTER TO THE EDITOR FOR MISSOURI
————————————————
As a proud American and a long time resident of Missouri, I take issue with Senator Obama enlisting Missouri state prosecutors along with the Sheriff’s Department to threaten those who dare to question him (with what he deems to be lies) with the power of the state. The last time I checked, this was a free country.

So, in these days leading up to Election Day, I would urge all voters to seriously consider whether we can afford to have a President who threatens one of our fundamental rights: The right to free speech, the right to dissent, the right to support the candidate we choose without threat or intimidation.

I will go to the polls and proudly cast my vote for John McCain. In so doing, I exercise my most fundamental rights as an American and make a statement loud and clear that the kinds of intimidating tactics used by the Obama campaign simply will not wash. Not with me and I believe, not with my neighbors in this great state of Missouri. Such tactics may work in Chicago, but they don’t work here.

Limbaugh talking about the Philip Berg Lawsuit and the potential ties to The One’s Hawaii birth certificate!

As well as NObama’s phony statement that he is “rushing” to Hawaii to be with his gravely ill Grandmother (all the while while campaigning for a few extra days).

I have been thinking about that since he first threw that whopper out there — when I learned from his doctor’s that my father was in his final battle, I literally got in the car in CT, drove immediately to the airport, put myself on standby and flew out on the first flight to Arizona.

My sister did the same thing and got to Arizona a couple of hours after I did.

FOUR DAYS OF ADDITIONAL CAMPAIGNING AND A COUPLE OF TV INTERVIEWS BEFORE “RUSHING” TO GRANDMA’s SIDE — This is NObo’s version of “Not making the same mistake he made when his mother died”..?

2. I understand both Michelle Obama and William Ayers attended the party given by Rashid Khalidi, President of the AAAN for his daughter’s wedding earlier this year. True?

3. Were, as reported in the newspapers, the Khalidi’s and Obama’s frequent dinner partners and are still good friends?

4. Is it true that you support Obama because he sympathizes with the Palesinians and also because he wants to talk to Iran without preconditions?

I respect your right to state your thoughts, but as I posted to WONTBACKDOWN, I would caution anyone from throwing around the name of Hitler or the Holocaust so readily. I understand you must feel it’s appropriate, but out of respect for those who suffered and died, it’s my view that it’s best to be very careful about using these terms. I’m Jewish, so trust me, I’m extremely sensitive to it. But, I know many survivors do not wish this period in history be raised without due reason. You may feel there is due reason, but I just wouldn’t want it raised in a way that is dramatic which then diminishes the very real horror that occured.

I have ENORMOUS respect for you and wontbackdown, so I hope this post doesn’t offend. I let most stuff slide, but this is an issue I take to heart and had to speak out about.

The “wsj political diary” is now one of my most favoritest things to receive in my email box every day.

“What’s the Old Saying About Familiarity Breeding Contempt?

Barack Obama may be swimming in campaign cash, but he still wants to charge reporters for the privilege of covering his Election Night activities at Grant Park in Chicago.

Crain’s Chicago Business reports that Mr. Obama’s campaign sent a memo saying the price for access to the media area, where electrical power will be available, will be between $715 and $1,815 depending on how many phone lines and power outlets are granted. Reporters who want to cover Obama campaign officials and interview them will have to gain access to a “Press File” tent for an additional $935 per person for admission.

Lynn Sweet, Washington bureau chief for the Chicago Sun-Times, called the price list “an outrageous pay-to-play plan that caters to national elite [media] outlets.” She noted that many reporters don’t have extensive phone and electrical needs and yet will be priced out of covering Mr. Obama on Election Night.

Mr. Obama will certainly be getting the lion’s share of votes from reporters who cover his campaign, but that doesn’t make his media operation popular. “There is an arrogance there that I hope doesn’t carry forward to any Obama White House,” one reporter who travels frequently with the candidate told me. “But all the signs of trouble are already there.”

Bellwethers No More?

Missouri is widely referred to as the premier bellwether state in presidential politics, having voted for the winning candidate in 25 out of 26 elections from 1904 to 2004. But Missouri isn’t the only state with a remarkable record of voting with the majority of the country. Tennessee voted for the eventual winner in all but two elections between 1912 and 2004 — its only aberrations coming in 1960 when it voted for Richard Nixon and 1924 when it chose John Davis over Calvin Coolidge.

While recent polling shows Missouri in play for both candidates this year, it’s already clear which direction Tennessee is leaning — away from Barack Obama, whom national polling indicates is favored to be the next president.

“The state seems poised to lose its status as a bellwether state this year,” says Mark E. Byrnes, a political scientist at Middle Tennessee State University. “Barack Obama trails in Tennessee and few observers give him much chance of winning here. In general, the state appears to be trending more Republican, in part because of rapid population growth in white-collar suburban communities.”

Franklin D. Roosevelt and other Democrats consistently won Tennessee in the first half of the 20th century. But after 1952 the only Democrats the state has supported for president have been those from south of the Mason-Dixon line. “The Democratic presidential candidates who have carried Tennessee in recent decades have been Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, Southern moderates,” Mr. Byrnes points out. “Candidates who appear too liberal, like Obama — or even native son Al Gore in 2000 — have difficulty here.”

Should both Missouri and Tennessee end up voting for the loser in 2008, it may be just another sign that a dramatic realignment of U.S. politics is underway.

Running Away from ACORN

The scandal involving the left-wing group ACORN keeps growing. Investigations of its voter registration efforts are being conducted in a dozen states, there is an active FBI probe at the national level and yesterday an internal report by ACORN’s own lawyer indicated that the group may have mixed charitable donations with “impermissible” partisan political activities.

It’s no surprise then that some figures who normally would defend ACORN are distancing themselves from the group. Last weekend on Fox News, former ACORN workers Mercedes Maggit and Freddie Johnson revealed how they and other workers would hand out cigarettes and dollar bills to people who agreed to be registered — a clear violation of election law.

Afterwards, even Rev. Al Sharpton appeared to say he wasn’t sure who was most at fault for the problems with ACORN. “We have to make sure there is no voting fraud here and there is no impediments to voting,” he said. “I think people across party lines should stand together for the integrity of voting.”

Rev. Sharpton also noted that a scandal such as that surrounding ACORN “makes people more cynical and distrustful of the whole voting system. One of the things we have struggled with in many communities is getting people to register and vote at all.”

Many outside groups have properly registered voters this year, and their efforts are to be commended. But ACORN’s activities cast a shadow over the operations of all groups participating in the political process, which is why everyone should be interested in getting to the bottom of the ACORN scandal.

I really needed this post this morning Murphy thank you- i stayed up half the night debating w/ a good friend. A friend who was always on my side of a debate. We’ve never been at odds before— Finally we just had to end it, but that wasn’t before she accused the Pumas of twisting logic and saying we had a victim mentality ( she even said murphy was throwing salt on our wounds and was really a gop). I was so upset, because i backed up every single thing I said w/ sources/ videos/quotes– And yet the message was the same.– If i was a sincere Hillary supporter…Of course no matter what I cannot convince her the nomination was bought and stolen in the primaries :(

I have listened , researched, read and come to I believe a very rational and reasonable conclusion. And besides that, I cannot shake the feeling to step away It’s a feeling that keeps shaking me…I do pray about it too

I just watched Nina Easton on Fox a news contributor argue how the media has not been biased to Obama- They used that example that RD blog posted about CNN twisting that quote from Byron York–Anyway and Nina’s excuse was no that it wasn’t biased it was just sloppy journalism!! I wanted to scream– thanks for letting me vent.
I am going to channel this energy into more debating but also more exposure/ emailing anyone I know who will listen w/ videos/sources/articles etc–

I was watching Obama speak today ( not making eye contact don’t worry lol)- j/k– anyway as far as those attacks that mccain is calling obama a terrorist. To be honest I find obama’s message to insenuate that in some way the GOP is a cult- that it is going to try to “stop something” and stop at nothing– Obama and Biden have made strange remarks about make sure to vote early etc that you don’t know what might happen. To me they make it sound like this party is out to do some malicious evil harm etc– I just think it is insulting– I’m not a GOP and have not been a big fan in the past, but it is old and established and not some cell operation or something- Obama’s message is disturbing on many levels, and sadly people think he’s truly going to help them. In his speech, he acts like this is all about him and someone out to get him and stop him?? It’s just infuriating and even more so that so many don’t see it?

CNN egregiously distorts National Review quote to humiliate Palin

Drew Griffin interviewed Sarah Palin on CNN:

Yeah. Governor, you’ve been mocked in the press. The press has been pretty hard on you, the Democrats have been pretty hard on you, but also some conservatives have been pretty hard on you as well. The National Review had a story saying that, you know, I can’t tell if Sarah Palin is incompetent, stupid, unqualified, corrupt or all of the above.

Griffin had declared that NR had dismissed Palin as joke. Palin asked who had written that, and Drew, being clueless, could not name the writer.

The National Review writer in question, one of the best, was Byron York.
Let’s put that quote in context and note the big difference in meaning. Here’s what York ACTUALLY wrote:

Watching press coverage of the Republican candidate for vice president, it’s sometimes hard to decide whether Sarah Palin is incompetent, stupid, unqualified, corrupt, backward, or — or, well, all of the above. Palin, the governor of Alaska, has faced more criticism than any vice-presidential candidate since 1988, when Democrats and the press tore into Dan Quayle. In fact, Palin may have it even worse than Quayle, since she’s taking flak not only from Democrats and the press but from some conservative opinion leaders as well.

BYRON YORK WAS POINTING OUT THE MEDIA BIAS, NOT REFERRING TO GOVERNOR PALIN AS A DITZ.

My last post about someone I have read and admire and I also love Jewish people on so many levels I cannot begin to list them. But Carl Jung was not anti- semitic and listed below in his own words and I trust his words rather than his detractors.
#########
In an interview with Carol Baumann in 1948, published in the Bulletin of Analytical Psychology Club of New York, December 1949, Jung explicitly denies rumors regarding any sympathy for the Nazi movement, saying:

It must be clear to anyone who has read any of my books that I have never been a Nazi sympathizer and I never have been anti-Semitic, and no amount of misquotation, mistranslation, or rearrangement of what I have written can alter the record of my true point of view.
Nearly every one of these passages [referring to a list of quotations cited against him] has been tampered with, either by malice or by ignorance.
Furthermore, my friendly relations with a large group of Jewish colleagues and patients over a period of many years in itself disproves the charge of anti-Semitism.

A full response from Jung discounting the rumors can be found in C.G Jung Speaking, Interviews and Encounters, Princeton University Press, 1977.

So far came across this interesting piece on Ron Paul’s site, of all places:

“Odinga, his cousin. He did not speak with Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki.

Odinga has now made a deal for support with Muslim fundamentalists… A photograph copy of a Memorandum of Understanding, dated and signed on August 29, 2007, between Raila Odinga and Shiekh Abdullah Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum of Kenya…
http://eakenya.org/newsevents/article.htm?id=8
Here is a summary on the agreement which was signed:

* It pledges the support of Kenyan Moslems for Raila’s election. In return, as President of Kenya, Raila agrees to 14 actions, listed a) through n) on page two.

* Within 6 months re-write the Constitution of Kenya to recognize Shariah as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared regions.

* Within one year facilitate the establishment of a Shariah court in every Kenyan divisional headquarters. [Note: everywhere in Kenya, not just in “Muslim declared regions.”]

* “Popularize Islam, the only true religion… by ordering every primary school in Kenya in the regions to conduct daily Madrassa classes.”
* “Impose a total ban on open-air gospel crusades by worshippers of the cross…”
* “Outlaw gospel programs… on KBC, the National Broadcaster.”
* “Impose a total ban on the public consumption of alcoholic beverages…”
* “Impose an immediate ban on women’s public dressing styles that are considered immoral and offensive to the Muslim faith…”
http://eakenya.org/newsevents/article.htm?id=8

Raila Odinga has, in his own words, a “close personal friendship” with Barrack Hussein Obama Junior. When Obama went to Kenya in August of 2006, he was hosted by Raila and spoke in praise of him at rallies in Nairobi… Obama’s bias for his fellow Luo was so blatant that a Kenya government spokesman denounced Obama during his visit as Raila’s “stooge.” http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=149_1199587542

In the recent elections in Kenya, violence broke out as Raila lost the elections:

This past weekend, women and children — entire families — were burned alive as a crowd of Kenyans torched a church where they had gathered to protect themselves.

The cause of the violence was Odinga’s inflammatory comments about the election:

When Raila Odinga lost the presidential election last week (12/27) to Mwai Kibaki, he claimed the vote was rigged, whereupon his tribal followers went on murderous rampages such as in the town of Eldoret, where on New Years Day dozens of people were burned to death in a church set on fire… Throughout Kenya, hundreds of people have been politically murdered in the last few days.

At first a million man march was planned but Obama put in some frantic 11th hour calls to his cousin to call that off, since it would reflect badly on his campaign at home, (he is locked in a battle with Hillary and it was the day of the N.H. primary), to have the media filled with images of angry Blacks rioting over a diputed election result. Odinga agreed to hold off, but now he is getting impatient. The agreement is probably to try to give Obama enough time to get his own candidacy flowing smoothly among Democrats before unleashing the violence.

But Odinga can only hold off for so long, since he faces likely criminal charges over the organized slaughter of Kikuyu by his (and Obama’s) Luo tribesmen.

Odinga who is challenging the current Kenyan President Kubaki. It was established by references to an article in Time Magazine that Obama has a ‘very close friendship’ with Odinga. There are links in Wikipedia which show that Odinga has initiated coups in the past, been accused of corruption and is an all-round troublemaker. What’s worse, it became clear that Odinga’s supporters were killing and burning property on a rampage across Kenya to support Odinga’s bid to take over Kubaki’s presidency. However, now further, more shocking details have come out:

There appears to be growing evidence that the violence in Kenya was organized in advance, perhaps with Obama’s knowledge.”

Obama supports this thug Odinga and Corsi has emails and phone records that Obama helped direct Odinga’s Presidential campaign. I saw an email and it was from Obama’s Senate Office, a no, no.

I think I saw the email on:

Does anyone know much about Carl Jung’s research on the precursor to the Holocaust?
For two years prior, many of his patients were having nightmares of the events that were to come.
He began to notice the similarities in the patients’ nightmares – who had no relationship to one another – and began documenting them as a study.
I cannot remember is his conclusion.
But, is anyone having nightmares?

****************

In my humble interpretation of Carl Jung psychology and philosophy, he believed that humans have intuition although not everyone uses their intuition.

Many chose not to listen to their intuition and prefer to deal on the mental, emotional or judgmental levels of thinking.
However, those who use their intuition and who are in tune to the psychic vibrations around us humans, pick up these thought and visions of future events.

And his conclusion was that we should pay attention to these vivid nightmares and forewarn the person, family or citizens involved.
Just like many people had nightmares about J.F. K. being shot, they recorded these nightmares and reported them but they were ignored.

Let us not ignore our dreams and nightmares they have guided mankind from the beginning.

gopumago posted this email downstairs. It’s an email that is going viral, from a Michigan polices officer who claims that Obama is disdainful of people in uniform.

There are LOTS of phony viral emails, so I checked this one out.

Seems to be absolutely real. I’m reposting it:

“Michigan Police Officers take on Obama

Just, A note!

I have read all of the emails from not only some of the MTOA board
members, but from other Law Enforcement & Military personnel about Barack
Obama’s rudeness and what seems to be disgust for basically anyone in
uniform. Well, it’s my turn to add to the list of emailers and here it is:

Some members of the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department, Michigan State
Police, and other local agencies inside Calhoun County were working with
Secret Service in the security of Mr. Obama.

Mr. Obama’s bus arrived in Battle Creek and pulled into the stadium area.
Before Mr. Obama exited the bus, he has the Secret Service get off and
tell all Law Enforcement personnel in uniform that they now have to stand
behind the bus so Mr. Obama is not seen with anyone in a Law Enforcement
uniform before he gets off or while in the public view.

So, everyone from MSP, Sheriff’s Dept., and other agencies looks at each
other for a second, go and stand behind the bus out of sight so Mr. Obama
does not have to see, or been seen with, what to him is ‘undesirables’
since he refuses to be seen or even acknowledge Military or Law
Enforcement.

At a time of war and terrorism in our world, this presidential candidate
who is being protected by various branches of the military & law
enforcement at the tax payers expense, refuses to acknowledge, be seen
with, have in his photographed background, any type of Military or Law
Enforcement in uniform.

But this is not in the media or headlines in the news. Why? I wonder what
the story or media frenzy would be if it was Muslims, blacks, whites,
Jews, or any other race, gender, religion, and/or occupation, that Mr.
Obama refuses to be seen with or have around him.

Why would Law Enforcement branches make this up?

Law Enforcement traditionally has had more funding under Democrats.

Just food for thought leading up to November 4th.

Jason Kern , Michigan Tactical Officer’s Association Executive Board
Member Training Committee”

Here’s the link which, in my opinion, confirms the validity of the letter.

Was part of the agreement to slam the opposition whenever you saw and opportunity. Do you think Governor Palin’s clothes is a “newsworthy” story. Of course, Obama’s designer suits are not newsworthy. The fact that Gov. Palin’s meager income does not allow her to buy “classy clothes” seems to go unnoticed. I am not a fan of Obama by any means, but I certainly do not wish harm to come to him. But a couple of nights ago, I had a nightmare about Obama. I have never dreamed about this man before. I was quite surprised when he showed up in my dream! Anyway, I remember feeling like a mother who is warning her child about some awful thing that she knows is about to happen to her child. It was an awful feeling. I remember so clearly the feeling of impending dread and my screaming to him, “You must be careful! You must be careful! Because someone you know is going to do you harm! It is someone who is very close to you!” Mostly, I was trying to relay the fact to him that it was someone very close to him. I haven’t the least notion who that person could be. Murphy and all read this blog: One more example among thousands, since January, that what this country is seeing in the person, tactics, and agenda of Barack Obama is not simply that of a more liberal Democratic but that of a radical, the likes of which has never gotten this far, this fast, and this arrogantly into the control and orchestration of a national party or the very essence of our political structures.
Barack Obama and all that he has and does espouse and eskew represents the most dangerous threat to the continued existence to the nature of this republic since December 7, 1941.

Gallup’s two likely voter models, reflecting Monday through Wednesday interviewing, show similar results, with Barack Obama ahead of John McCain 50% to 46% using the “traditional” model, and 51% to 45% using the “expanded” model.

No Increase in Proportion of First-Time Voters

Gallup finds that 13% of registered voters say they will be casting a presidential ballot for the first time this election year. That matches the figure Gallup found for the 2004 election.

the work of interpretation of dream is very tedious, and i could see that he could perceive thru his patients works what was coming up

Put on my button went to the grocery store, one button on on in my bag and one on my handbag.
The first person who stopped me and asked where she could get one, got the one in my bag…she was for Hillary, now McCain.
Most interesting she does not have a computer, knows the media is biased and LOVES Sarah Palin!
As I was unloading my groceries the UPS guy delivered so I asked if he saw many signs. He said very few, and of the few they were for McCain, and most on side streets(?)……..my story for today. Thanks again for the buttons.

What is the Bradley Effect?
BY MATTHEW J. MCKNIGHT | TheRoot.com

“……………Bert Coffey, who at the time was an executive committee member in the California Democratic Party, spoke to the Washington Post after Bradley’s loss. The absentee voting “just killed us,” he said.
So in the end, the Bradley effect may not be grounded in historical reality, but that has not stopped a large portion of Americans, particularly black Americans from believing that there are lying white voters—a constant threat to black politicians seeking high office.
And, predictably, it has firmly inserted itself into the landscape of the Obama campaign. Not to suggest that race is no longer an issue, but the premise upon which the Bradley effect was built is misplaced.
And what was the Bradley effect really, other than the results of a poor campaign strategy that led to defeat?”…………………………

*******
The Bradley effect was not about race but about mismanaging a campaign…

I pay people well, big XMAS party, summer party, vaca, personal days, decent health care. I’m a small business and I have to battle this economy. I’m slow. I like these people and I’m trying hard to keep all of them. I can’t afford his tax policies.

I need a tax cut. Then I might grow out of this and hire more people.

thank for the addresss for AP email. I shared my thoughts.

(repost from downstairs)

Dear friends in the 4th estate,

The issues facing the globe are frightening. The decisions of our next president may reveal a hero, or may bring sorrow and regret for decades. Sarah Palin’s wardrobe is of no interest or concern to me.

If it’s campaign-related “women’s issues” you’re addressing, then how about the continuing problem of equal pay for equal work? If Sarah Palin is the next VP, she will be paid $208,100 annually. If she was one of Obama’s staffers, she’d make just 83 cents for every dollar made by Obama’s male staff. That’s $172,723 instead of $208,100 – bit of a hit, don’t you think? Another “women’s issue” you may consider is the resurgence of violent misogyny as found in the shameful videos circulated on YouTube by Obama supporters?

Are you journalists? Give us the facts, give them to us fairly, and make it about issues and evidence of character. Edmund Burke got it right. “Yonder sits the Fourth Estate, and they are more important than them all.”

Sincerely,

M. Kelly, Los Angeles, CA

Murphy: followed the link you provided for the Michigan Officer. Here’s what I found:

09/29/2008

As the President of the Michigan Tactical Officers Association, I send you my sincerest apology for any misunderstandings of Officer Jason Kern’s email may have caused. Officer Kern’s comments are in no way a representation of the Michigan Tactical Officers Association. The MTOA is a non-profit organization that provides training and resources to the tactical community in Michigan. We do NOT get involved in politics.

I was not in attendance at the event in question and can not speak about what transpired there. The MTOA does not get involved in politics; we had absolutely no representation at that event, or any other political rally. Officer Kern was on-scene at the event representing the police agency he is employed with; he was NOT representing the MTOA.

The email in question was NOT an official MTOA correspondence.

Are the Democrats running a communist for President?

Sounds farfetched, I know. But connect the dots:

-Frank Marshall Davis was Obama’s mentor from age 10 to 18. FMD was a member of the communist party.

-Bill Ayers admitted he was a communist in the book “Prairie Fire”;

-Jeremiah Wright is a avowed follower of marxist ideology;

-The Alinsky method is Obama’s playbook

-The New Party in Chicago considers itself a communist organization – they not only endorsed Obama in his campaigns but have reported in their literature that Obama was a member;

I really doubted my own judgment on this at first – tin foil, or too late at night. But the more I think about it, the more sense it makes.

I found a couple of pieces while trying to validate my suspicions (also found that Obama’s dad, Obama, Sr., was a proponent of communism). While they are in some fairly obscure sources, the pieces themselves are pretty well sourced and documented.

Here they are:

http://www.usasurvival.org/docs/chicago-obama.pdf

http://www.usasurvival.org/docs/hawaii-obama.pdf

You can decide for yourselves. But The deeper I dig into this, the clearer the picture becomes.

Obama has illegally been taking donations from Tamil Tiger leaders, according to the FEC. The Tamil Tigers are, according to the FBI, the most successful terrorist group in the world.

According to the US Federal Election Commission (FEC.GOV), Obama (as well as the head of the US Congress Sri Lanka Caucus – Representative Rush Holt) has accepted donations from, as well as funds raised by, the same American LTTE fundraiser, Mr. Ram Ranjan, whose was fired by Hillary Clinton campaign for his terror links, according to Clinton’s foreign policy advisor, Andrew Shapiro. Ranjan was formerly regional director of the now banned TRO, according to the Seattle Times.

#119 writer4starz on 10.23.08 at 1:53 pm

From what I remember from college psychology classes, Jung wanted us to learn to analyze our own dreams, because he felt that we knew our own minds best, or at least, we should. Granted, those college classes were a really long time ago, so I may be wrong.

But here is what I take away from this dream: 1) I have no ill feelings toward Obama other than I hope he doesn’t win (I certainly don’t want him to suffer bodily harm of any kind); 2) I am one of those protective, motherly types, who is always worried about someone’s safety; 3) I feel that Obama is NOT who he says he is; 4) I believe that he is a hologram, a “front,” if you will, for someone or some group whom we do not yet fathom; and, 5) that person or persons will eliminate him when they feel that the man has “done his job” for them. But this one thing keeps haunting me, more than anything about the dream: It is someone close to him.

Just too weird. I hope that is the only nightmare I have like that. But like a lot of you, I am not sleeping very well either. And I have developed a tic in my eye that won’t go away. (My pre-election eye tic.)

Let’s keep sharing our dreams, because we might be able to use our collective unconscious to put this thing together. Scary stuff.

Speaking of dreams….I haven’t had any about Obama. NONE.

However, my Irish radar has been telling me “something” is gonna happen. Something unexpected. This whole Obama movement is built on shifting sand.

There have been comparisons of this movement with the Nazi movement. Thing is we are a different people in a different time. Americans are the most adverse to conformity of any society in history. I don’t think communism/marxism of past governments will every fly here.

I believe there is a great deal of ignorance on the past of the public and exploitation of the public, but at a certain point it will turn and there will be a public backlash against Obama.

The question is when…..

Oh gosh, Anna I’m sorry that you took my post that way. My post wasn’t at all an attempt to diminish what the Jewish community went through. Many people have family that were killed, suffered, died or were injured will serving during WWII. Like many, I have family that fought and died during the war. I also have a great, great Uncle who was a priest who was stationed in Europe and witnessed many horrors. Of the 11 million who were killed, we know that 6 million were Jewish, but the other millions were killed because they were homosexual, Catholic, Christian, Jehovah’s Witnesses, disabled, Freemasons, and many were Germans who were against the Nazis ideology.

Many German citizens refused to go along with Hilter’s “movement”. Those Germans that didn’t agree with Hitler were met with extreme disdain from their friends and family. I guess I wasn’t clear with my point. When the good Germans were shunned by their friends and family members who supported Hitler I’m sure they went through a wide range of emotions … similar to some of the same feelings that the anti-BO people are going through today. That was my point.

I respect your opinion, however, I don’t believe that my statement diminishes the horrors that occurred after Hitler took control of Germany.

Anna, I have enormous respect for you too, and I hope that you understand what I’m trying to say. :-)

#114 Grizzly:

This is an escalation of our system of government over many years – and the Bush-Cheney administration exploited the vulnerabilities into the greater proportions we are facing today.

Our country has more laws than all other countries in the entire World, combined. Yet, those who legislate them, enforce them and control the system of interpretation and governance have even lost “control” of such a system.

If I am anywhere close to being correct, it explains why we are so vulnerable to being placed under a “new” even more “controlling” system of government – all in the name of something else.

Aaron Goldstein writes:

So here are five things you can say to an Obama supporter if he or she sees fit to call you racist because you don’t see fit to put your faith in The Anointed One at the ballot box:

1. By calling me a racist you cheapen the meaning of racism and therefore you have cheapened yourself.

2. I want to congratulate you for having rendered the term racism completely meaningless.

3. How is my vote for John McCain an act of racism?

4. You can do better than to call racist those with whom you disagree. I am very disappointed in you.

5. You have judged me by the color of my skin not the content of my character. Shame on you.

Do not be angry when giving these responses. Be firm but polite. If possible have a smile on your face whilst conveying your disappointment with their misguided behavior.

#126alohapuma: While I trust implicity Irish radar, having a good dose of it myself, I trust as well Irish Logic (yes there is such a thing!) and that logic says that if a policitical movement and tactics look and act like even one similar in history or my experience which has through a variety of means , and actions attempted to take freedoms or suppress them, it matters little what historical name one puts to it. Its intent and results are the same: Suppression of freedom and individual rights. Call him and his tactics what one wills:
It has arisen before in other countries. It is embodied more powerfully in Obama than ever in our history.
No time or country is ever immuned to the suppression of its essence. We now are in the middle of some very successful suppressions. And remember one thing:
Germany’s people were in the middle of a horrific downfall in its economy, horrific..when Hitler finally took over. Bread moves people if not to acceptance certainly to a less vigorous rejection of that which would otherwise be anathema. ONWARD TODAY!

Obama, Ayers and ACORN – all connected. Bill Ayers and Rathke, the founder of ACORN, go way back to their common membership in the SDS (Students for a DEmocratic Society). The Weather Underfround was an offshoot of the SDS, as was ACORN.

Ayers recruited Obama. A yound wet behind the ears lawyer with no prior experience. Wonder why? Sis Ayers know Frank Marshall Davis from their joint Communist Party membership? Davis, after all, was originally from Kansas but grew up in Chicago. He later moved to Hawaii.

When Obama went to Columbia, Ayers lived in New York at the same time – only a few blocks away from where Obama lived.

Perhaps I’m a bit Pollyanna. I don’t disagree with anything you are saying. I do believe the “set point” as far as individual freedom is much different in America than other societies and historically so.

You are right about historical similarities. Germany was in the middle of a horrific financial downfall. At the same time Hitler was allowed to invade the Rhineland without consequence from the world community. Germany felt empowered after that.

We are in the middle of a financial meltdown and Obama carried out a coup on democracy without (to date) any sanction from the leaders of this country or the world community. Those who have been traditionally voiceless and powerless believe the Obama movement will empower them. They believe the evil queen and the imperialistic empire she represents has been taken down and the people will not rise! Mythic storylines are powerful!!

I agree, bread moves people (a la Super Delegates selling out, etc) but I just have to believe there will be a point (because of the groups still living in our society who have fled persecution) that principal will prevail.

My concern and attention in my comment were for those many millions who have not yet seen what we have seen, have not yet seen through to what we have seen..those who consider themselves with voice, with power, those many millions who voted for him in the primary or more importantly those who did not or who now or still undecided or those who may consider staying home and not voting at all.. These are they who live with the veils still across their imaginations or who do not even know there is a veil over him as he proceeds;. these are they who we have sought and will continue to get to before November 4. This IrishFrenchCatholic New Orleans American woman will never concede our defeat.
We call forward every single American to reject Obama and yes, I do not falter, in my belief that we will do so on November 4! Never ever doubt that!…and for alittle reminiscent humor oh Irish radar: Never forget..when in doubt…Erin go braless!…Ha!

#149Dances: The comments are the people. Everything must be included. Maybe some of us could do archive on our own if that is possible so that a number of hard copies would be “around”. Do not know if that is possible, but discussion of it if it will occur and if others can be involved in doing a copy on their own,all I believe should be off this blog and by email.

storytellers: I don’t think there will be an October Surprise. It isn’t mandated that there will be one. An October Surprise could be anything anyway: a horrible gaffe; a national crisis; some sordid sensational thing.

WE already know most of the “October Surprise” stuff. I doubt we will get surprised. The average public barely knows ANYTHING like we know. So, the October Surprise might just be more media attention to the things we know.

Or maybe there is nothing. Who knows.

************
Your tenacity shines lady.

For those millions who have not seen through Obama, I’m not sure logical reasoning will get through at this point. I think we need to go straight to the emotions. Denver Groups television spots for example or Freddie’s flyers…

Personal story..

My mother passed on a couple years ago and we were close, but I also have a surrogate mother who has been a very high profile person in the non-profit sector. When she calls for an appointment with elected officials, she gets one. She’s aligned with Nancy Pelosi and has been for years, so she’s working for Obama.

She continues to try to bait me into arguments about the election, but I know better. Arguments only fuel her resolve. I just keep repeating, “I believe he’s a fraud. I believe he’s a fraud.”

The last attempt was to tell me John McCain isn’t as sharp as he used to be. She’s known him for years. When I asked her to be specific, she couldn’t come up with a thing.

Truth is…she’s tormented. I know her. Deep down she knows he’s a fraud too. She’s in deep and now she’s wallowing in it. I love her, but I’m letting her wallow in it for now.

I await the November SURPRISE ACCORDING TO MSM ET AL:BYE BYE OJINGO…HEAD ON BACK TO THE SENATE TO LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT AMERICA! Go buy a paint brush to paint the other three sides of that fence around Mrs, Rezcko’s empty property that sits next to yours in Chicago..After all, it is the least you can do: She paid for that fence, over $14,000 and certainly we know how important that was ..to protect her empty lot against what? Given what we have seen of you and your tactics, I’d say protection against what is living on the other side of the fence….not what could wind up in her empty lot…from anywhere else. FRAUD, OJINGO…
SURPRISE….SURPRISE…NOVEMBER…SURPRISE..YOURS, NOT OURS.

“Uglier by the hour” is an understatement for how ugly things are getting. I usually disable comments in my blog when I make political posts, because I don’t feel like further browbeating from Obama supporters. I opened comments on a post I made yesterday, and while most commenters behaved themselves, one felt the need to state she feels folks like us are “ignoring facts”–she doesn’t consider the evidence presented of the caucus fraud, etc. as credible–and “acting like spoiled children”. I don’t have the patience to debate her point-by-point; I don’t like debate at all. Perhaps someone else has that patience, for the sake of other PUMAs who read my blog or readers who are undecided.

My resolve to protest Obama’s selection is as sharp as ever. In fact, the best way to get me to do the opposite of what you want is to browbeat me over it.

I clicked on the states list and clicked on Nevada – when I clicked on find events a map of Africa appeared for a few seconds and then Nevada came on the screen. Sooooo I tried California and got the same map of Africa before California – subliminal????? You be the judge???

#33 Anna7000 on 10.22.08 at 5:33 pm EARLY ELECTION RESULTS

Just called the SoS of Colorado and was told the following:

They will be posting a running total of the “unofficial” results prior to the official “election day”. “Unofficial results” are those that have been submitted from each county, but have not been signed off on by the candidates.

This is horrible!

I wonder if this is how it will work in all states with early voting.

Anyone think this should be addressed via a prowl?

To show how times have changed, and how low the bar has been lowered in this election consider this:

Obama has admitted to snorting cocaine, hangs with known terrorists and racists but today nobody cares.

Remember the grief Bill Clinton got over smoking (“but not inhaling”) pot in college?

Remember GWB almost lost the election because of the last minute disclosure of a 20 year old DUI?

I guess from now on a candidates past won’t matter at all.

italicize

bold

A German Doctorís View of Islam

This is by far the best explanation of the
Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read. His
references to past history are accurate and clear.
Not long, easy to understand, and well worth the
read. The author of this email is said to be Dr.
Emanuel Tanay, a well known and well respected
psychiatrist.
Whether or not the origin/author is authentic is not relevent. The logic
and import stand alone.

A Germanís View on Islam

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior
to World War II, owned a number of large industries
and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our
attitude toward fanaticism. Very few people were
true Nazis, he said, but many enjoyed the return
of German pride, and many more were t oo busy to
care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis
were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat
back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew
it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.

We are told again and again by experts and
talking heads that Islam is the religion of peace,
and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to
live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion
may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is
meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and
meant to somehow diminish the spectra of fanatics
rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this
moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It
is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically
slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout
Africa and are gradually taking over the entire
continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who
bomb, behead, murder, or honor- kill. It is the
fanatics who take over mosque after mosque.

It is the fanatics who zealously spread the
stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard quantifiable fact is that the peaceful
majority, thesilent majority, is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia comprised Russians who
just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian
Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were
irrelevant.

China’s huge population was peaceful as well,
but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World
War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan
murdered and slaughtered it s way across South East
Asia in an orgy of killing that included the
systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians;
most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And, who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into
butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of
Rwandans were peace loving?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and
blunt, yet for all our posers of reason we often
miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:
Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by
their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if
they don’t speak up, because like my friend from
Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the
fanatics own them, and the end of their world will
have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese,
Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis,
Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and
many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay
attention to the only group that counts; the
fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is
serious and just deletes this email without sending
it on, is contributing to the passiveness that
allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a
bit and send this on and on and on! Let us hope
that thousands, world wide, read this and think
about it, and send it on – before itís too late.

The “B” can be in uppercase (B) or lowercase (b) it doesn’t matter…
Just put it between the “V” brackets <>
…and put the forward slash / before the B to turn off the bold.

(If you don’t want to turn off the bold, like if you want to make the whole post bold or the last part of the post in bold,
just type <B> where you want bold to begin and do nothing else.

The Media, the public someone needs to stand up.
Obama actually what he has done he has used the weak things we do in america like money talks, corruptness on wall street, greed, etc. he using these things against us to get what he wants. If ayone doubts that obama is not dangerous, you are fooling yourself.

We need someone of influence that has enough guts to stand up against the establishment and say look what is happening here is not right. This man has and continues to do things against the law, he has qustionable friends, he accepts money from foreigners for his campaign and noone is doing anything about it. It scares me half to death. I can tell you that I am a senior citizen and I have never, ever seen anything like this. All of this has got to stop. Obama has to be stopped and all that he stands for, or else I am afraid that after November 4th we will wake up to a very different america and by then it will be too late.

Here is a prowl I just made up to get the info out to all news folks and anyone else you can send it to. Has a link to the caucus fraud and also the great graphic on Just Say No Deal linking all of Obies corruption with ACORN and his fellow thugs.

Please use it and send it out as a mass prowl, please!!!

Subject: Obama’s “community organizing” and how it fits into voter fraud and the financial meltdown.

Dear fellow citizens and News Reporters,

The reason no one focuses on Barack Obama’s “community organizing” is because few understand how it fits into the
big picture. focus, trace, read – revisit if necessary – but do understand why:

A) Obama has gotten to where he is and why he threatens to continue that meteoric rise – with your tax money – straight to the white house.

B) How Obama, his advisors & the democrats are linked to the biggest financial meltdown since the Great Depression.

A great graph and explanation of Obama’s links to corruption: http://www.justsaynodeal.com/acorn.html

Millions of Clinton Democrats already know this information and will not vote for Obama. It is up to the news media to report the information and get it out to the public instead of reporting their own opinions as news.

If you need more proof, here is a link to research done on the Democratic Primary that proves the voting fraud in the caucus states, using Camp Obama aggression along with ACORN voter fraud: http://www.lynettelong.com/CAUCUSFRAUD/

This is also how the $800,000 the Obama campaign gave to ACORN in the Primary was used to overthrow the primary election from Hillary Clinton. Obama is now using these same techniques to steal the General Election from John McCain.

Keep this information from the public and Obama will be our next President.

Thank you,
XXXXXX

I have no idea. I’m sure he isn’t but I haven’t read anything about it yet. The news that I read about BO was that his campaign will be footing the bill for his outdoor rally at Grant Park.

The only thing that federal taxpayers pay for is the security around BO. But we pay for Mac’s security too.

Where did you read that the city of Chicago or federal taxpayers would be paying for the other stuff?

Well, I hope it’s a fake story. Rove “set-up” is bizarre. As for “she deserved it” , people better begin realizing the beginning of the end that kind of crap has arrived.

I’m this close to being prepared to ‘lock and load’, and follow through on anyone who threatens me or mine, (and ‘mine’ is an extremely broad category).

#229 KarenWI on 10.23.08 at 4:11 pm

Can’t believe that mulilation of a McCain volunteer! Or… maybe I can, unfortunately. It says a lot about the kind of people we are trying to keep out, PUMA’s. These people are vicious and full of a hatred that is beyond anything I can understand. I hate to say this, but it’s demonic. I’ve been saying for a long time now that this election is good vs. evil. Thind kind of behavior (I almost said “animalistic” but that would be an insult to animals) is one more sad proof of that… (sigh)….

Snap out of it!!
You’ve been dragging yourself down for a few weeks now. At some point the reassurances have to come from within. Just do all that you can do, encourage others to do the same, and what will be, will be. Can’t do more than that. Meanwhile, McCain’s going to win. Look at how obozo and his malicious band of obozos are freaking out. Now snap out of it.

McCain IS going to win!!!!!!! The battle is not lost!

The one thing I am afraid of is the reaction from the obots who let loose their rage when they find out they’ve lost! Of course, if they would by some miracle win (unlikely), and take over the nation, that is even scarier! Their very celebration would probably be destructive, based on the way they are acting now when he is ahead in the polls. On the evening of Nov 4 and day of nov 5 I strongly urge all PUMA’s to stay home if possible, and lock their doors and windows no matter what happens in the election. It’s better to be “safe than sorry”… and, sorry to say, there are a LOT of seemingly brainless nuts out there who, like the PA idiot today, don’t seem to be able to control themselves.

#247 NewOrleansPuma on 10.23.08 at 4:32 pm

Act as though you have already achieved

I’m paranoid maybe, but I want all of you to know what happened to me the other day, just in case:
I went to my car and as I did a small tan pick-up truck with a cap went slowly by, down two houses, and turned around in their driveway. When he she or it came back by, I looked up and the person raised his left hand to top cover his face. I also had a call on my cellphone from someone who lives near here-whom I don”t know. They left no message.

Aaawww, come on … was the FU necessary? Drudge’s headline was this “SHOCK: MCCAIN CAMPAIGN VOLUNTEER ATTACKED AND MUTILATED IN PITTSBURGH”

Okay, I just sent my sister-in-law (an attorney) who got very upset with me about 3-4 weeks ago when were visiting them. When I told her about the fraud that went on during the primaries and caucases, she yelled at me said she didin’t believe, “this Lynette Long, whoever she is must just be trying to make money, it is all the republicans making this stuff up, you can change anything on the web and make it look real and why didn’t Hillary do anything about this and these Pumas…”

I sent her the letters that Hillary’s camp sent on the fraud, the Berg lawsuit link and explained there were several state lawsuits now about vetting nobo, a story in a Tennessee newspaper about the coercion at the convention, and the stuff Lynette Long had published. I also told her I was a Puma. ALL was fact and published. No, you tube stuff except Murphy’s teaser on the fraud.

SOOOO, my point is I am afraid I am going to blasted by her and this will cause all sorts of family havoc between us. KEEP GOOD THOUGHTS for me on this as I don’t want to have to put my husband in the middle of this. At least I hope it proves I wasn’t lying and that I am not as dumb as she apparently believes I am.

MOST people are reasonable and don’t take kindly to being bullied (or abused). They might not admit it, but I know if we appeal to the right emotions, they will vote McCain.

McCain’s new ad about terrorists not caring who they hurt is a clue. No reasonable person is going to put a closet terrorists in the White House over a man of strong personal character.

If we posture as victims, who wants to align with us? Really? If we use rude and ignorant names for Obama or anyone else, then who want’s to join our team???

Woman Attacked At ATM, Assailant Carves Letter Into Her Face
Woman Robbed, Attacked With Knife At Bloomfield ATM

PITTSBURGH — A 20-year-old woman who was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield was also maimed by her attacker, police said.

Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard tells Channel 4 Action News that the victim was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday night outside of a Citizens Bank near Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street just before 9 p.m.

Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim’s car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter “B” into her face, Richard said.

Richard said the woman refused medical treatment after the assault, which happened outside the view of the bank’s surveillance cameras.

The robber is described as a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. The man was wearing dark colored jeans, a black undershirt and black shoes.

#280 zephyr on 10.23.08 at 4:57 pm

Sometimes I get very weary of being outraged</b? by all the news and chicanery surrounding this election. I have tried to be objective and understand where the Obots are coming from and I have a hard time doing it. I have always been able to look at both sides and come up with a better understanding of a stiuation.

This election cycle I just can’t and that frustrates me. I know in my heart there is a bigger picture, a larger plan, a greater stage play being played out on a level beyond, at this point, my ability to discern. In my heart of hearts I want what is best for my country and our citizens. How someone can think that NOBO at the helm is the answer, is beyond me. But I also don’t want to go around feeling angry at every Obot I see or
talk to..at every media broadcast that is not favorable to my perceptions….and I have found myself doing that.

I have had to do a great deal of meditating in a continuous process of letting go of the anger and frustration. Anger for a breast cancer survivor is not healthy…..too much anger isn’t healthy for anyone really.

So I read this often to give myself some perspective…to take myself out of the trenches of outrage and anger, to remind myself that we DO HAVE POWER and to remember that however this election turns out, the Plan on Earth will unfold in due course and time. My hope is that I can be part of ushering it in. I think that is who the PUMAS are…the usherers!!!

*****************************************
The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into human minds.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into human hearts.
May the Coming One return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide all little human wills -
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the human race
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power
restore the Plan on Earth.

I just received an email from a PUMA who has made significant contributions to the PUMA cause. She sent what amount to a tribute to Dances and the Action Center.

Here is what she said. (I edited it for length)
My daughter is taking a women’s studies class in college. The topic of sexism has come up, naturally. Mdaughter was able to write specific details about Hillary’s treatment in the media as well as Sarah Palin’s. In addition, she went to the Puma Action center, downloaded some talking points, and took them to class.

We don’t know whether or not she changed anyone’s mind. We do know that the Puma’s helped her to get fact based information to an entire class of mostly college age women.

Please convey our appreciate to Dances for the organization of the Action center. Because it is so well organized my daughter was able to quickly go right to the information she needed.

AP presidential poll: Race tightens in final weeks

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081022/ap_on_el_pr/ap_poll_presidential_race

The poll, which found Obama at 44 percent and McCain at 43 percent, supports what some Republicans and Democrats privately have said in recent days: that the race narrowed after the third debate as GOP-leaning voters drifted home to their party and McCain’s “Joe the plumber” analogy struck a chord.

Beautiful post….And so needed, thanks for putting things in a loving sane perspective. Sometimes it certainly gets overwhelming and it’s so difficult not to brim over with too much rage and anger. Your invocation works. Thanks so much for putting it up.

—–

And on an interestingly similar note – one synchronistically on the same wavelength as yours I have to share this peculiar sighting with you all.

As others have stated in NYC there is a bizarre LACK of campaign buttons, bumper stickers, signs ANYTHING election-related, in fact. It’s almost as though people are afraid to make their views known.

But yesterday when I was walking in midtown Manhattan/east side I saw a man (AA at that) with a button on his lapel; it looked just like a campaign button, red and white, same shape, size etc. All it had written on it was one word:

“LOVE.”

Hmmmmm……

Something to think about…

#296 wontbackdown on 10.23.08 at 5:25 pm

BillieJo: I get it. I understand the rage.

And Everyone:

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (resulting from severe and/or prolonged abuse) is an insidious thing.

In my case:

I don’t go to theaters – too loud of a noise can put me in a heart-wrenching panic.

Concert “noise” or boom boxes – same thing.

I can read or hear something traumatic and familiar – same thing.

Feel too closed in – same thing.

Authority figures – same thing.

(None of these things are a constant and it is a shame that I can sometimes act like a complete weirdo – and not even realize that I am reacting like I am “fighting for my life” vocal, emotional, or otherwise – until I have made a “fool” of myself)

I completely understand how “fucked up” it is for someone to physically overpower another – and inflict all kinds of short and “long term” damage.

I also understand how if one has never experienced it, it is hard to understand one who has finally found their voice.

In any event, women feel far more vulnerable to being attacked – ALL OF THE TIME – than the majority of men.

One of the most “empathetic” things I have ever heard a man say is this:

“It has never once occurred to me what it must be like for women – to have to constantly be on guard. I never give a second thought to simply pulling into my garage, walking my dog, or taking a run in the park – day or night. It’s a whole lot of mental and emotional energy I don’t have to expend, because I am pretty confidant I can defend myself, and can even think of it as “manly” if I get my ass kicked trying.”

I’ve heard that the msm is claiming we don’t exist anymore. That the PUMAS have all either given up or decided to vote Obama. Ha!

I read over at No Quarter that Battleground is claiming the PUMA movement is dead based of the claim that Obama has now garnered the support of 87% of Democrats…right, and I’ll be busy all this weekend shooting down the monkeys that flew out of my butt….

#298 SergeiRostov on 10.23.08 at 5:51 pm

Not a crime, and I’m not claiming it is (although I feel pretty darn confident that when the FEC investigations are complete, some time in 2010 or so, we’ll learn just how CORRUPTED the obama donation machine was.)

Speaking of this, I am still wondering: what happened to the $100 million Obama got for Rezko?
Rezko didn’t spend it on his properties. He didn’t spend it on himself (since he had to borrow money from a friend of his in 2003 (?) just to buy a house). Where did it go? I note that campaign contributions under $200 don’t need to be reported with an individual’s name attached (and even when they are, think of how long would it take to track down every small donor to see if they were legit), so hmmm….

Yeesh, and that was the BEST of the caucuses, and the number of people participating approached that of a prmary (I saw an analysis which noted that the closer the amount of people caucusing got to the number who would vote in a primary, the better Hillary did…a graph in it showed that if the caucuses had been primaries, that in nearly all cases, she would have either won or made it fairly close).

i just saw the information on unoffical results being posted from early voting.

All this LEGALLY can tell you is how many people voted at each location in early voting. We also had the possibility in 2004 to get access to who had voted in 2004 and drop them out of the caling lists.

states that have party registration with voter registration may be legally able to tell you how many registered dems and repubs have voted but they can’t give live results of how many obama votes, Mccain votes, etc.

87% is not good. You should always ALWAYS have somewhere above 90% of your base and Democrats should be his base. That means that at least 13% of Democrats are NOT voting for the chosen one. We estimated in a previous race in my state that a senatorial candidate would have won if we had gotten one more vote in every precinct throughout the state out to vote for our candidate. That seems like very little but let’s say there are just enough people at the right places who are PUMAs who are not voting Obama, then it doesn’t matter how much of the DEMOCRATS he has shored up.

I also have experienced that politics can be spiritually damaging. I’m hope that injecting enough humor into it – in the form of parodies, satire, etc. – will help. :)

(And of course lots more meditation :) )

In my opinion, 87% is the high end. It could be as low as 78%.
In a neighborhood sign canvass I performed (relative’s neighborhood in WI), 7% of the McCain signs were specifically “Another Democrat for McCain” ones….

65 KYkitten on 10.23.08 at 12:53 pm I was watching Obama speak today ( not making eye contact don’t worry lol)- j/k– anyway as far as those attacks that mccain is calling obama a terrorist. To be honest I find obama’s message to insenuate that in some way the GOP is a cult- that it is going to try to “stop something” and stop at nothing

RFK Jr and Greg Palast already have an article up at Rolling Stone
http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/23638322/block_the_vote

claiming the GOP is out to steal the election. While I respect their work, there is one question which Palast and Kennedy can’t answer, because to do so would destroy their entire argument: if the GOP can still use all those techniques to steal elections like they did in 2000 and 2004, why didn’t they do it in 2006?

Answer: because they don’t work anymore.

181 BillieJo on 10.23.08 at 3:30 pm I asked Murphy but no responce….does anyone have the link (if there is one) of how the Clinton delegates voted in the Denver convention. We were waiting and that is another issue that seems to have been forgotten on this blog. I would still like to know before I vote.

I imagine, though, that you’re looking so you can decide whether or not to vote for your state’s Dems?

I don’t have a link to that, but as I recall, the voting was suspended – and Obama nominated by acclimation – before all the delegates voted (about 20% never got to vote)…but perhaps I am mistaken here.

290 Pookie on 10.23.08 at 5:13 pm Nobama was in our capital today Indianapolis I watched him for about 5 minutes he had the meanest look on his face, I was thinking how could people vote for this person there was not a kind look on his face.

When he actually smiles I admit to being startled, he so rarely does it.

Bill Clinton, on the other hand, always seems to genuinely enjoy campaigning.

Of course, we know that that’s because Bill enjoys debating and convincing people, but Obama expects people will just agree with them, and gets angry when they don’t.

Then the station reported that 57% of people polled think that McCain has run a negative campaign and only 29% thought Bo had. wonder who they polled?

I would still like to see the state-by-state Electoral College breakdown with polls adjusted for what even Obamabots say is the proper sampling (+6 Dem) Instead of this 50-33-17 or even 50-20-30 stuff.

i>#132 indy on 10.23.08 at 2:14 pm Aaron Goldstein writes:

So here are five things you can say to an Obama supporter if he or she sees fit to call you racist because you don’t see fit to put your faith in The Anointed One at the ballot box:

I pointed this out on Puma United Radio yesterday:

[Note: argument expanded from what I said on PUR due to lesser time constraints- SAR]

(If the person is old enough)

Ask them if they voted for Al Sharpton in 2004.

If they didn’t (which is pretty likely), then call THEM a racist, and see what they say.

If they respond that he didn’t make it through to the general election, then point that out as further evidence of THEIR racism (i.e. they didn’t work hard enough for him because they were racist).
If they say he wasn’t “articulate” enough, or that he was “nutty” or “unelectable” (or what have you), say that they are just saying that because they are racist (you can even throw in the term ‘code words’ here if you like).

Oh, and if they weren’t old enough in 2004, tell them they didn’t work hard enough to get voting-age people to vote for him because they are racist.

At this point, you can follow up with asking them if they’re voting for McCain, and when they say no, ask them why they hate senior citizens. If they give a reasons why they’re not voting for McCain, tell them they are just saying those things because they hate senior citizens (and/or are sexist, optionally). Keep pressing until they say they it’s not that they hate senior citizens, but that they have good reasons for supporting Obama. Then say, “Well, I have good reasons for supporting McCain. Don’t say I hate blacks and I won’t say you hate senior citizens.”

URGENT! Proof Obama BORN IN KENYA – HEAR THE INTERVIEW HERE:

Former Democrat DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL OF PENNSYLVANIA HAS A RECORDING OF OBAMA’S GRANDMOTHER IN KENYA STATING OBAMA WAS IN FACT BORN IN KENYA and is NOT A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. And one of the reasons Obama will not release his college transcripts.
One of the 3 REQUIREMENTS for becoming a US President IS you must be a natural born citizen and Obama is in FACT NOT.

This DISQUALIFIES OBAMA AS PRESIDENT.

Obama’s scamming the entire country!
