Perhaps, just perhaps, these young women are so comfortable with themselves as women that they do not see anything wrong in what another generation thought was sexist treatment. I know that my daughter frequently does not understand my outrage at some of the words, slogans, or ideas I hear being hurled at women. She says most women in her generation don’t feel sullied because they are comfortable with themselves and can dish it out too. Maybe it is the result of our teachings that they are equal, maybe we accomplished our goals and have been left behind. Maybe they do not lack self-respect; maybe they just don’t define their self-respect according to the standards we had to use when breaking free of the “old ways.” Just my thoughts on the subject.

666,000 new voters registered huh? Think maybe in reality there may have been, like, 200,000? LOL. I just wonder how many of the frauds there are that aren’t getting caught! I wish with all my heart that SOMEHOW the “powers that be” could say that due to the numerous proven cases of fraud nationwide that ALL registrations submitted by ACORN be put aside until they can be checked after the election. IF the election is close they can be checked then and the votes added in…. but because of the time constraint before Nov 4 now they just put them all aside for now. This is a very interesting turn of events. The American man Dr Corsi was recently reported to have been arrested in Kenya because there was fear that he might reveal information on Obama when he wanted to hold a press conference in Nairobi.
The question now is why he was arrested and who ordered his arrest. Was Obama’s hand in this in any way? We will never know the truth but what is clear is that Dr Corsi was seen as a threat while in Kenya.
When API asked Mrs Obama to comment on why Dr Corsi was arrested by the Kenyan government and whether she thought Kenya’s Prime Minister Mr Raila Odinga was involved in Dr Corsi’s arrest, she got irritated and and simply told API not to dig that which will support evil people who are out to stop her husband from getting the presidency.
When asked who she was referring to as the evil people, she stated that she was not going to elaborate much on that but that many conservative white people and even some African Americans were against her husband, but that this group of blacks were simply doing so because of envy.
On Farakhan and his ministry, Mrs Obama told API that it was unfortunate that Mr Farakhan came out the way he did supporting her husband openly before the elections was over. That was not wholehearted support but one that was calculated to convince the American people that my husband will support the growth of muslim faith if he became the president, adding “even if my husband was able to prove that he is not a Muslim, he will not be believed by those who have come out strongly to destroy his chances of being the next President. Do real people expect someone to deny a religion when 80 percent of his relatives are Muslims?; Mrs Obama asked.

Sorry I was on the other thread. I’m re-posting my comments.
One thing I learned from the Texas caucus, don’t ever underestimate the turnout by the Obama supporters on election day even if they think they are winning. Case in point, at the Texas Democratic Party convention in June of this year, Hillary supporters chose to stay at home after learning that Hillary has suspended her campaign. We lost plenty of delegates and therefore our percentage was depleted when the votes were counted.
I have been working with former Democrats, Republicans and Independents to go vote for McCain/Palin ticket to keep Obama/Biden out of the White House. Our early vote begins on October 20 and we will be helping with transporting the seniors to the voting polls. Some seniors are internet savvy, so they have been able to keep up with the latest news and developments, i.e. Acorn, etc.
Please ask all of your families, friends, co-workers, etc. to go to vote early or on November 4 for McCain/Palin. If the Republicans cannot get their voters to the polls on November 4 by turning out at least 75% of their registered voters, Obama is going to win. McCain will have to win the voters tomorrow night when he debates Obama. He needs to articulate his economic plan to the American people to where they will have no doubt that he is the man for the job but he should also bring up Ayers, Acorn, Odinga and the rest of Obama’s radical associates. I wonder if he has enough money to buy his own 30 minutes TV time on the network a couple of days before election. It would keep him competitive with Obama.
Don’t get discourage about the poll numbers. If we, PUMAs, and 75% of the Republicans and half of the undecided vote for McCain/Palin, we can defeat Obama.

Stating the obvious perhaps. If Obama was adopted by his step father, then he was an Indonesian citizen for a period of time – 4 years.
If Berg is correct, then he would have relinquished his US Citizenship and could only become a naturalized citizen upon his return to the US.
Therefore he would not be a “natural born” citizen.
I’m going to research this…but if Berg is correct, then Obama is not eligible to be President if he was indeed adopted by his stepfather.

I’m inclined to believe the theory that he was not even born in Hawaii or the US period. If he was born in a hospital in the U. S. it would be EASY to produce a valid vault copy of the birth certificate showing the exact hospital and details of the birth. Hospitals are careful about that documentation. If there was a valid copy he would have whipped it out pronto, to quiet the issue and avoid any further hoopla about the adoption etc…
The very fact that he hasn’t produced it convinces me that it does NOT exist.

Harris, the Black McCain-Palin supporter who spoke from the audience at a recent town hall rally, ending his comments with “I am begging you, sir. I am begging you. Take it to him.” I was so sad to read in the article about all the hate mail he is receiving.
I can’t imagine how painful it must be for Mr. Harris to have people from all over the US sending hate mail for not supporting BO.
When I heard Harris’s speech I was literally clapping my hands and shouting “YES!” Although now I can now see that McCain-Palin verbally going after BO on personal issues tends to take McCain-Palin down in the polls with undecided voters – such statements sure energizes the existing base of supporters! At the time I heard Mr. Harris’s comments it made me feel good to have someone say what I was thinking.
I am an African American woman, and I know what it feels like to be verbally attacked by other Black people (including family members) for not choosing to support BO in this election. And I’ve even had White BO supporters ask me how I can vote against my own people? The comments I hear sometimes are so ridiculous because no one wants to talk about the candidates’ policies, or experience or past affiliations – it’s either all about electing the first Black president or it’s about not electing a conservative president.
NOTE TO PUMAs – we need to find a way send written support to this guy. His comments have been presented by the biased media over and over and he is even being portrayed as a McCain plant because the biased media basically keeps questioning how in the world could a Black person vote for a republican? (stupid pundits – they assume every Black person is voting for BO).
As the article explains Mr. Harris is being attacked with hate mail daily.

I am so tired of the Bots trying to shut everyone down on blogs, in person, in meetings, etc. BO supporters assume if they yell loud enough and call everyone a racist then they can stop freedom of political choice and free speech.
SUGGESTION – I think as PUMAs, when we see someone being attacked through a national campaign to silence their support of McCain-Palin, then we (PUMAs) can balance the negative by sending some positive support.
Perhaps we can start listing the names of McCain-Palin pundits and provide email addresses or blogs for where we can individually write our support of what they are saying?
We PUMAs are large in number and we know we have impact. Right now we can focus on those pundits or others who are still speaking up and keep them motivated to continue to share our points of view!
If we PUMAs don’t rise up and support those who are still brave enough to speak up for McCain-Palin and who are not afraid of being called racist – we could find few voices left on any news programs as those individuals will tire of the attacks they receive after each news program where they express their point of views. They have to receive some positive support too.
We each individually have to write to the McCain-Palin pundits more than once a week in order to keep up with the bots who have made writing their favorite past time in order to try to squelch anyone who speaks against BO.
As the election draws closer we need to keep these few pundits on these news programs and keep them encouraged that there are those of us out here who agree with them and let them know that we value that they are standing up to share what has become the less favored point of view on so many of the biased news programs these days.
It must be hard to be the only 1 on a panel trying to explain or defend McCain’s-Palin’s tickets when you have 2-3 other panelists all trying to talk over your words or negating everything you say. Have you noticed that often the BO pundits don’t even explain why they disagree any more – they simply dismiss the McCain-Palin pundit as being wrong and point to the stupid poll numbers as if that’s enough.
Daily as I watch news programs, when I observe a pundit speaking up for McCain-Palin (which seems to be nowadays only 1 McCain pundit on a panel with 2 or 3 BO pundits) – I try to take a few minutes and send that McCain-Palin pundit an email or I try to blog on the news site where the show is summarized – and write my support of what was said in support of McCain-Palin.
Personal note – I’ve been away from the blog for a while – so I’ll catch up my reading tonight from the previous days of comments. I’ve been busy because both my husband & I were laid off recently from our respective jobs and so we are busy job hunting (laid off within 2 weeks of each other). We each have two master degrees so I know first hand that this bad economy is really hitting the middle class baby boomers just as you hear on the news.
However, even being unemployed, I am committed more than ever in my belief that McCain-Palin are the best vote to turn the economy around. I don’t have confidence in liberals running the White House, the House and the Senate. That’s just too much power in the wrong hands (specifically the DNC) and there will be no checks & balances. I’m starting to question if I’m going to vote Democrat down the ticket (below the McCain-Palin vote) as I do not want to vote in a bunch of people who are simply going to follow along with Obama, Pelosi, Dean, Brazile & Reid.
p.s. My husband is a BO supporter – so we try not to discuss politics much around here

This is a very interesting turn of events. The American man Dr Corsi was recently reported to have been arrested in Kenya because there was fear that he might reveal information on Obama when he wanted to hold a press conference in Nairobi.
The question now is why he was arrested and who ordered his arrest. Was Obama’s hand in this in any way? We will never know the truth but what is clear is that Dr Corsi was seen as a threat while in Kenya.
When API asked Mrs Obama to comment on why Dr Corsi was arrested by the Kenyan government and whether she thought Kenya’s Prime Minister Mr Raila Odinga was involved in Dr Corsi’s arrest, she got irritated and and simply told API not to dig that which will support evil people who are out to stop her=2 0husband from getting the presidency.
When asked who she was referring to as the evil people, she stated that she was not going to elaborate much on that but that many conservative white people and even some African Americans were against her husband, but that this group of blacks were simply doing so because of envy.
On Farakhan and his ministry, Mrs Obama told API that it was unfortunate that Mr Farakhan came out the way he did supporting her husband openly before the elections was over. That was not wholehearted support but one that was calculated to convince the American people that my husband will support the growth of muslim faith if he became the president, adding “even if my husband was able to prove that he is not a Muslim, he will not be believed by those who have come out strongly to destroy his chances of being the next President. Do real people expect someone to deny a religion when 80 percent of his relatives are Muslims?; Mrs Obama asked.
Mrs Obama asked API to write a good story about her husband and that will earn API an invitation to the innoguration ceremony when, as she put it , her husband will be installed as the next President of the United States of America next year.

It does seem strange they (Obama and the DNC) have not complied with discovery. Just guessing…but I would think the judge would compel discovery and not rule on the Motion to Dismiss. Obama would then have to produce his birth certificate (if it exists) even if the court decides later that Berg does not have standing.
Obama is hiding something. We just can’t assume…until we know.
It still seems beyond the pale the Obama machine would try to pull off electing a candidate who does not qualify per the Constitution. Unbelievable!!

Sorry guys, it turns out that the only hope of Berg winning is if he was born in Kenya. Just because someone takes Indonesian citizenship does not mean he loses his American citizenship. See below from findlaw.com. The only way to lose citizenship of the United States is to go to an embassy of the US and renounce citizenship. Most likely the Indonesian govt didn’t even know that he was still an American citizen as they don’t allow dual citizenship.

More and more people are believing there will not be an election. That it will be suspended and martial law declared. Even though ACORN and others have amassed a huge vote for BO, there are twice as many people who don’t blog, but believe in the american traditions and way of life who will never allow him to win an election.

I believe Obama would have in effect renounced US citizenship when his stepfather adopted him and put him in Indonesian school.
What I’m wondering is WHY exactly Obama was sent to live with his grandparents in Hawaii at the age of 10. That is another part of the puzzle that has never been fully explored.
Was there a legal technicality that involved citizenship.
Was it for a US education?
Was Barry in trouble?
I for one can not imagine sending my 10 year old away from me to live with anyone…not even my mother.
There is a lot more to the story and (again) why were there no journalists out there digging a long time ago? That is if there are any real journalists left in the sea of “hired hacks”.

What’s really getting me is that the news media keep changing articles or taking down articles that are viewed as too supportive of McCain-Palin.
There was an AP article that was written after that 2nd debate, and within a few hours the article was totally rewritten to be more pro-BO. It’s becoming scary to see the media attempting to control this election.
BELOW is a posting I submitted after the 2nd debate. But then I never saw that CNN segment shown again nor could I find any report of what was said anywhere on the CNN website.
Who is pulling the strings behind all these media sources & news shows? The political news is so biased any more and so Pro-BO (with the exception of a couple shows on CNN or the shows on FOX).
It’s become so bad where I live that I’ve stopped reading the political news in the Washington Post and instead I have to buy the Washington Times. And these days the Washington Times is so popular I often can’t even find copies at the news stands, as it’s the only printed source printing editorials in support of McCain-Palin and the only way to read printed local articles telling the truth about BO in this region.
Any way – below is the description of what I saw only ONE time on CNN news – before the story segment disappeared and was never discussed again.

I heard something interesting on CNN tonight. They had a panel on including the CNN anchor Soledad Obrien.
Soledad was in the room last night with the undecided voters who were recording their reactions to the debate in live time.
The news panel was reviewing the results from last night, but indicated that there was one result that had them puzzled.
Apparently more people in the undecided group said they thought Obama won the debate; and more of the undecideds said they expected Obama to win;
(ok – here comes the good part)
However when they were asked who they would vote for President if they had to vote today – more people said McCain!!
The news panel discussing this result was acting astonished and confused as to how the group members could say Obama won the debate but then the majority would vote for McCain.
The news panel’s conclusion was some off-the-wall rationale- I can’t even recall what they said
There apparently were not follow up questions so Soledad could not explain the individuals reasons.
I think this may be exactly what is going to happen on election day. People will be able to describe what they perceive to be public opinion – which appears to be in favor of Obama (based on what they hear due to the media’s bias).
But when the undecided voters go into the booth to vote more will NOT choose to vote for Obama. They will instead vote for McCain-Palin. And to the Democrat party’s surprise – despite all the poll numbers – Obama will lose!
Just thinking about that day makes me smile…

The question is: is obama a naturalized citizen since his adoptive father declared him and obama received Indonesian citizenship. And there’s teh inconvenience of his mother giving birth to him when she was 16… there’s some calculus about living in the US for so many years and being of a cerain age at time of child’s birth… obama’smother misses the qualification by one year.

for everyone the average distance for any sign from a polling place is 1000 ft on election day or during polling hours…..so if they are holding early elections or on election day there can be no signs within that 1000ft area during the hours of the polling operation…each state has there own regulations but the 1000ft is the usual.

The attempt would be to cause so much pressure on the system, that either someone would give in during a supreme court decision (if election is close), or it would be an all out attempt to overthrow the gov.

I think I’m voting pretty much straight Republican this time. Amazing. I refuse to vote for anyone who voted for ANY of the Wall Street Extreme Gambler Bailouts this year.
That leaves out every Dem in Congress and Senate besides Kaptur and deFazio and one other whose name I can’t remember. Anyway, since I don’t live in OH. or Ore., the high up Dems are off limit for me.
And the bad behavior of the higher up dems has sullied my view on the more local level Dems as well. I’ll look into them, but with a much more jaundiced/critical eye than ever before.

(strange as that seems) because I want to do everything possible to avoid both the legislative and executive branches being completely controlled by the DONC. I know that my daughter frequently does not understand my outrage at some of the words, slogans, or ideas I hear being hurled at women. Maybe it is the result of our teachings that they are equal, maybe we accomplished our goals and have been left behind. I’ve had similar thoughts to this while in the process of writing my own book on feminism: If feminism means being free to make your own choices, to decide for yourself, then that means you get to choose the meaning (as it were) of what you do, rather than having someone – man or woman – choose for you that it means a certain thing, and also that you get to choose how you react to a thing, rather than have someone – man or woman – choose for you how you should react. In this context, breaking free of the old ways should also mean breaking free of/rethinking what “sexist” is, and deciding what it is for yourself….which it looks as if your daughter’s generation has done/is doing.

Your post is very insightful. I’m preaching to the choir but I believe that this will be a secret election. In other words, voters are saying one thing publicly and on Nov. 4 will be voting for McCain.
The evidence is anecdotal but the absence of political pins, bumper stickers, and signs means people are keeping their votes private besides wanting to avoid the Obama thugs.
For the last three days, I’ve been making phone bank calls for McCain. At this point in time, I’m surprised at the undecided voters.
The WI Attorney General is now being asked to look into ACORN voter fraud by request of the Milwaukee Count Election Commission…so is that 16 states, or 18?
(Recall how Obama beat Hillary in the open primary in WI by a whopping 17 percent(!), although Kerry beat Bush by only .5 percent, and Gore by only .25? Hmmm….)

How many times have blacks, foreigners, muslim shown up “just to make an unrelated point” in other ads?
I’ll tell you: not many.
I don’t claim to know it all, that’s why I always listened to Hillary for guidance. I don’t believe that she became a “whore” the moment she stumped for Obama; I believe McCain knew what he was doing when he defended Obama even though he was booed by his own supporters. I admire him for that.
I can’t turn a blind eye on all the repressed hatred that boils in some of the posts here. For those of us who’ve been there – we know how short the distance is between certain words and deeds. Thanks for helping keep the fight honest, so that honest people can join it.

I’ve been mystified this year at the stick-to-it-ive-ness of the Jewish Obama vote in friends and family.
Thought they’d be upset when the DNC kept Hillary from participating in the Jewish sponsored thing in NYC with Palin. Nope.

I don’t think so….It seems there’s very little party support campaigning going on for either party. The Clintons seem to be the only politicians making a big show for Obama. We don’t hear seem to hear of any other prominent Dems making a big splash for Obama. Like, where’s Dean? Where’s Pelosi? Where’s Gore? Where’s Leahy? OK, maybe you do see the scary lady, Claire McAskill (sp?) and lots of the same ole Dem pundits, but it seems that’s it.
The same goes for McCain….He seems to be out there mainly on his own with Sarah Palin and that’s it.

Oh yes, Sergei, I certainly agree with you. Obama definitely would be much easier to “deal” with. He’s a man with no core, no values, no scruples. He’d be a lot easier than McCain who’s gonna cut off the gravy train and lock the door on the candy store. No more goodies for Congress. I’m sure a lot of them don’t want to see that day come….

This is a very interesting turn of events. The American man Dr Corsi was recently reported to have been arrested in Kenya because there was fear that he might reveal information on Obama when he wanted to hold a press conference in Nairobi.
The question now is why he was arrested and who ordered his arrest. Was Obama’s hand in this in any way? We will never know the truth but what is clear is that Dr Corsi was seen as a threat while in Kenya.
When API asked Mrs Obama to comment on why Dr Corsi was arrested by the Kenyan government and whether she thought Kenya’s Prime Minister Mr Raila Odinga was involved in Dr Corsi’s arrest, she got irritated and and simply told API not to dig that which will support evil people who are out to stop her husband from getting the presidency.
When asked who she was referring to as the evil people, she stated that she was not going to elaborate much on that but that many conservative white people and even some African Americans were against her husband, but that this group of blacks were simply doing so because of envy.
On Farakhan and his ministry, Mrs Obama told API that it was unfortunate that Mr Farakhan came out the way he did supporting her husband openly before the elections was over. That was not wholehearted support but one that was calculated to convince the American people that my husband will support the growth of muslim faith if he became the president, adding “even if my husband was able to prove that he is not a Muslim, he will not be believed by those who have come out strongly to destroy his chances of being the next President. Do real people expect someone to deny a religion when 80 percent of his relatives are Muslims?; Mrs Obama asked.
Mrs Obama asked API to write a good story about her husband and that will earn API an invitation to the innoguration ceremony when, as she put it , her husband will be installed as the next President of the United States of America next year.

I also stuck them in the New Yorker, the Economist, Newsmax, Harper’s, etc. I thought maybe some of the readers of the more “high-brow” mags might be a little more susceptible to our message. But this IS New York and when it comes to politics this election, knowing the facts and the truth doesn’t seem to have much effect on BO supporters, it seems. I’m still at a loss to understand the degree of rationalization BO Dems can make to justify supporting him. It’s truly mind-boggling.

I recall John Legend’s appearance on The Colbert Report (back during the primaries) where Stephen asked him why he was voting for Obama, and he said it was because he wanted universal health care and to end the war in Iraq, when in fact it was Hillary who wanted both, while he wanted neither (in fact he even ridiculed the idea of universal coverage)…sad.
In Stern’s examples, though, it’s difficult to tell if the people interviewed thought Obama’s positions were McCain’s or were simply going along with whatever was said simply because (they thought) it was espoused by Obama….

(We’ve used a number of different approaches and find the flyers on cars works really well with our flyers which are very fact-based and informative).
A wonderful PUMA from CA has committed to spend $1000 to print flyers we can distribute!!
We can put people up Thursday and Sunday night in Columbus (and feed them). People are splitting hotel rooms (@$86/night divided by 4 people) so we are managing costs as best we can.
We are also stocking the RV with food and drinks
Obviously we are encouraging Ohio PUMAs to join the caravan wherever—and whenever—they can (we anticipate keeping to a tight schedule so we can give them towns & arrival times—although we will not broadcast that for security reasons). PLEASE COME!!!!

Regarding that API interview of Michelle Obama – and her college thesis about her fellow blacks not being “black enough” – one might ask why she straightens her hair and married a man who is half-white?
I mean, if she is going to make being black the reason blacks should give a candidate their “unwavering support”, then should they give twice as much support to a candidate who is all-black? Or that the black half of Obama is worth as much as a whole white man, and his white half is worth nothing? Or is she saying blacks should “identify” with a “black” man only as long as he is half-white?

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Puma-Facts site. Every page with the exception of the From the Pumas section is backed up by media sources. Thus the word Facts. Twisted no. But angry yes. As anyone who does know and undestand politics should be. As a former Obama supporter I am outaged that the person I voted for in the primaries isn’t even running the same campaign. There comes a time when you have to drop the “feel good” mantra of Hope and change brainwashing politics and look at the facts. Barack Obama is not the same candidate that began this campaign. Open your eyes. If I began this election as a supporter of Barack , but paid attention and asked questions, and you without merit or fact attack my observations which of the 2 are brainwashed?
Listen for ACORN being brought up on RICO charges and pay attention when people talk about Bill Ayers. Don’t just mindlessly lap up what the DNC throws into the trough, and don’t make assumptions about someones politics because they speak out for the truth. I m not a republican nor will I be voting for John McCain. Though he does not have my vote I would be more inclined to consider his life spent serving his country than I would consider a few months voting present in the Senate and a few year spent leaving his district in Chicago with no Hope and No change a life of serving.

I vote that when people talk about some topic they try to include the url to the topic so people can find out what they are talking about. This is getting to be a big problem on this web site. too many uses of pronouns and personal talking between only 2 people. We really need better blog software. It would help for example if people could do personal messages to each other and take some of the traffic off the open discussion. for example I could make this request to the one person. I would get the answer back in my message box and get the answer. As it is now. I have to be lucky to find the answer if it does get posted. If I am gone for awhile I will miss the answer to my question.
Just trying to help people understand.
It would help greatly if we could have threads on topics. That way a topic can be followed.

He said that while ACORN has many good people working there, that they have been very bad when hiring poor folks, at $25,000, to go out and register as many names as they can for the election. He cloncluded that while what the street workers was doing does constitute fraud, that those hiring the workers should be prosecuted, and that ASORN must be held accountable for all the fraud of this campaign…as well as all the others in the past 11 years.

This is a very interesting turn of events. The American man Dr Corsi was recently reported to have been arrested in Kenya because there was fear that he might reveal information on Obama when he wanted to hold a press conference in Nairobi.
The question now is why he was arrested and who ordered his arrest. Was Obama’s hand in this in any way? We will never know the truth but what is clear is that Dr Corsi was seen as a threat while in Kenya.
When API asked Mrs Obama to comment on why Dr Corsi was arrested by the Kenyan government and whether she thought Kenya’s Prime Minister Mr Raila Odinga was involved in Dr Corsi’s arrest, she got irritated and and simply told API not to dig that which will support evil people who are out to stop her husband from getting the presidency.
When asked who she was referring to as the evil people, she stated that she was not going to elaborate much on that but that many conservative white people and even some African Americans were against her husband, but that this group of blacks were simply doing so because of envy.
On Farakhan and his ministry, Mrs Obama told API that it was unfortunate that Mr Farakhan came out the way he did supporting her husband openly before the elections was over. Mrs. Obama truly is a person with little regard for people, as she states some blacks and whites. If the B/C is not an issue why all of this drama just produce it. It seems ridiculous that the Democrats would allow someone who is not a citizen to be nominated and would push Hillary out of the picture like they did.
