Dum Dum

Not too many O supporters in NYC — at least not obviously. This one stood out though . . .

If you’re ever trapped with an under 10-year old and are desperate to entertain yourselves, rent Kit Kittredge, An American Girl, or A Night At the Museum Dum Dum (above) features prominently.

You can take an old white T – shirt and write your message on it with a thick black permanent Sharpie pen. Crude but hey, it is meant to be crude.

I wonder how many times I can get away with voting for McCain. Hey, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, right?

No, two wrongs don’t make a right and there’s no way to make a wrong thing right!!

Ummm, thanks for telling us about the thread change!! :P

Here is how it works here in Milwaukee. First, we have ACORN volunteers registering fake names (no, not Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck, but names like Tom Smith and Lisa Jones)with fake addresses (vacant lots, church buildings, underpasses)that are handed in to City of Milwaukee “Election Commission” (and I use that word very lightly). The names are added to the voter rolls and then comes the fun time of “Early Voting in Wisconsin!” Absentee ballots are requested by the Obama campaign, thousand upon thousands (we know this because the return address on these requests have Obama’s Milwaukee election headquarters). All the City of Milwaukee “Election Commission” does then is verify that Tom Smith or Lisa Jones have “registered” (are on the voter rolls) and the ballots are sent out. What a nice way to have imaginary people with imaginary addresses voting for the canidate of your choice! Who is being disinfranchised in this senario?? Election fraud … Wisconsin Style!

make no bones about it..lets tell it like it is..barack hussein obama is the trojan horse of black nationalism and islam that will give them an exponential boost in power.. they have succeeded in their first steps in the conquest of america…why?? because americans are too f..king stupid, lazy, cowardly and paralyzed with fear..the once proud pioneer american has been transformed into a whimpering neurotic poodle pissing all over itself with fear!

thx guys — big columbus day parade down 5th Avenue today — LOTS of Italian Pride (go italy!!) — but ZERO obama supporters. I did bump into a fairly large contingent of “women for mccain” at 5th Ave and 50th Street tho. they were very stylishly dressed.

#12 Osaka, I think I favor your earlier explanation. People tend to not want to deal with problems and they stick their heads in the sand. If it makes you feel slightly better, many of the people I’ve been speaking to are deciding to vote for McCain. These are Hispanic voters. TX isn’t a swing state though. It will go Republican. OH, PA, FL, and MO voters need to think long and hard about what kind of America they want to live in. As someone said earlier, Cuban Americans know what BO is about and I can’t imagine they like what they are seeing (economic policies). Castro’s endorsement of BO also didn’t help him in FL either.

#21 EWard on 10.13.08 at 11:01 pm

Welcome Back Murphy!!!!!!

Reposting this again….

Why isn’t the MSM investigating BO stealing this election through Acorn? Why isn’t the MSM investigating Obama’s ties to Ayers, Rezko, and Wright beyond a superficial level? Why hasn’t the media taken Obama’s statement apart “about the distribution of wealth?”

Think about it, BO is attempting to steal this election with individuals that do not pay taxes. If he’s elected, he’s going to distribute our wealth to the same voters that might tip the scales in this election. This is insane.

I believe that there is a “silent revolution” taking place among the voters. The false and dangerous charge of racism against all voters speaking out against Obama will backfire. I come from a family of Democrats and with the exception of one person, we are all voting for McCain.

Scott Levenson of Acorn — liar, liar, pants on fire…….

Very interesting, I just received a phone call from a young woman conducting a political survey for GSI. When I asked her who GSI was, she hung up. I wonder why????????????

#22 Sisterluck on 10.13.08 at 11:02 pm

Let’s see what would happen if McCain sat in a white supremacist, anti-American church for 20 yrs? If he associated with unrepentant terrorists and started his presidential campaign in a terrorist’s living room? If he would not give Americans the details of his college life, transcripts, health records, and birth certificate? If his wife spouted off how she was just now proud of her country? If he gave $800k or more to ACORN to get out the voter fraud for the repubs? If he flipped on every issue since the primary? If he planned to raise taxes and begin socialism and disguised it as “fairness for the middle class?” If he had truth squads arresting people against him and had his supporters spewing sexist slurs every day? You get my point. I bring this up to the bots and ask them what if McCain had done all this? They have nothing to say except “McCain is more of the same” and the line of this election…”you’re a racist.” The bots are useless morons who would follow any cult that gave them free reign with the media and local authorities to run around in mayhem terrorizing people, trashing cars, and getting in people’s faces.

If McCain had done 1 single thing on this list, his career would have been over. Bozo just says I didn’t do it or I didn’t know or you’re racist. This is the most disgusting, piece of shit election in history.

I almost kicked a bot’s ass today but I refrained and walked away. It would make me sink to their level. These last 20 days or so are going to get UGLY.

You say: I believe that there is a “silent revolution” taking place among the voters.

i sense that also. The anger that has emerged in the McCain rallies has a lot to do with the fact that the media has not given a voice to the average American voter. In fact, they have attacked us for simply asking that BO be vetted as any other candidate would have been. If we question or criticize we are labeled racists. Racism is real and that it is being used for political gain is unconscionable. I think it was a British paper that pointed out that BO won’t be able to use the race card once he is president in the international realm. If Sarkozy (sp?) criticizes him is he going to call him a racist?

#33 KarenWI on 10.13.08 at 11:12 pm

#39 murphy on 10.13.08 at 11:18 pm

In the US a felony is a crime punishable by more than one year in jail. SO , there are lots of crimes for which a person may be convicted and serve time which rise to the level of felony — I’m sure we dont want to disenfranchise EVERYBODY who’s been convicted of a felony.

just sayin.

Lara, there’s no “angle.” Hillary and Bill both gave their word long ago that they would campaign for whoever the Democratic nominee turned out to be; they are keeping their word. It’s as simple as that.

#46 NewOrleansPuma on 10.13.08 at 11:25 pm

#39Murphy: You may not want to, but you are more tolerant than I, my dear …moreover, in this election cycle, I do not want any felons registerd to vote…are all of these people out of jail? I certainly would not presume they are even finished their sentences. Oh, New Orleans…you jest?…given what we have seen…if a dead person is registered, why would any one assume a felon is out of jail..and registered to vote?
Can anyone cofrim that in fact they are out of jail? And with Jesse Jackson saying that it is not voter fraud unless the people try to vote…what people forget is that the dead person is registered and a live person votes in his name, unless the being dead is caught before the voting starts…That is how dead people register and live dead people vote…

#48 DancesWithPumas on 10.13.08 at 11:25 pm

I was impressed with Berg. Wasn;t that interested in teh birth cert issue prior to last night. I think that was because of the way it was presented and I didnt want to waste my time hanging my hopes on a technicality that might not have panned out, especially when there were experts on the case. Berg’s case is a heck of of lot more than ‘just’ the birth certificate.
kat in everyone’s hat and I were working on a prowl for today… but stuff happened for both of us. So maybe it will be ready tomorrow.

#49 mountainsong on 10.13.08 at 11:26 pm

43 murphy Well, they lose their right to bear arms for life. Is it fair to deprive them the right to self defense? I think the only reason they restore the right to vote is because the Constitution protects us against taxation without representation. So if a ex-felon can’t vote, he/she has no representation and shouldn’t be forced to pay taxes. And many don’t fo that reason.

#50 DancesWithPumas on 10.13.08 at 11:27 pm

“do you think they should be disenfranchised for life?”

No, that would be akin to double indemnity… being punished twice for the same crime, after time served.

#54 KarenWI on 10.13.08 at 11:30 pm

#50 dwp- we already have double indemnity. It’s called charging someone twice for the same crime- once under criminal and the other under civil. It’s the lawyers “loophole” to make it “legal” to charge a person twice for the same crime….

#55 DancesWithPumas on 10.13.08 at 11:30 pm

Thank you.
If person is found guilty in criminal case, can they be tried again in civil, as a way to extend their sentence?

#61 KarenWI on 10.13.08 at 11:33 pm

My PERSONAL opinion is when someone has been convicted of a crime they shouldn’t be voting. Why do I hold such radical ideas as that? Well, with all the criminals we have they could change the laws that put them behind bars if enough of them voted- I don’t think that’s right. We need some protection for the average person here…. !

#62 mountainsong on 10.13.08 at 11:33 pm

#64 KarenWI on 10.13.08 at 11:34 pm

#60 YES- I’ve seen many a case where someone is found guilty in criminal case who is then tried in civil case. The civil case, though, isn’t prison time- it’s usually monetary.

#65 mountainsong on 10.13.08 at 11:35 pm

#66 NewOrleansPuma on 10.13.08 at 11:36 pm

Murphy: Regarding the felons who may be out of jail, having served their sentences, I think that is something to think about. I am concerned now about those still in jail who may be voting….If you are in jail, you should not have the right to vote.

Re Berg: I am sorry I did not hear him, but I did see the video interview on You tube and he certainly is no neophyte. I found him perfectly fine.I am grateful for his courage and interest…one of the few in the country who seems to care!

#67 KarenWI on 10.13.08 at 11:37 pm

mountainsong #51 — bill ayers is a traitor; obama is a fraud; and we are radicals.

ayers should be jailed for life or executed like mcveigh. obama should be marginalized permanently from public life.

and songs should be being written about us.

wrt means “with regard to”

ok new orleans and mountainsong — you’re right, there’s massive fraud happening. but i dont want to throw the constitution out the window.

karenWI — dwp was just comparing the two ideas — like being taxed 2x for the same income, being punished 2x for the same crime is just not right.

osaka #58 — “someone shoots or rapes my kid” . . . holy smokes brother — you gotta look into the reasons vigilante justice is NOT GOOD for a stable society.

if you are in favor of capitol punishment for all felony convictions in all cases then I say amen brother you are consistent — but otherwise I think there are a few kinks in your logic.

but yes, if someone shoots or rapes my kid and is convicted, serves time, and is released, then yes, i think he should recover whichever rights (including the right to vote) his state allows.

which isnt to say I would not hunt him down and kill him dead with my own bare hands before he got a chance to vote for barack obama (or anyone else), but if i did i would be fully prepared to face life imprisonment or the death penalty for my action.

I sent an email to Hannity with a link to the Berg video when it was first posted at americasright asking him to call Mr. Berg and Mr. Obama and see if he could get an answer to the citizenship question. It was returned for some reason, so I just resent it. Hopefully, it will get through this time. The link to the video should be sent to everyone on your mailing list and the link to Mr. Berg’s site: obamacrimes.com. We have a right to know if BO if eligible to be POTUS.

VOTER REGISTRATIONS

Indiana and Michigan are arguably swing states in what promises to be a close presidential election.

At least one national report suggests that the practices “appear illegal.”
State election administrators in both states flatly deny any wrong-doing.
Both Indiana and Michigan continue to struggle with a staggering number of new voter registration applications.

At the St. Joseph County Voter Registration office, there’s a cardboard skeleton hanging on the wall in honor of Halloween. Or perhaps it’s a reminder that employees here have been working their fingers to the bone.
“They’re doing between five and six hundred (voter registration applications) a day right now,” said Pam Brunette of the Voter Registration Office. “So it’s a lot.”
“We do use social security, it’s one of the identification tools that we have,” said Linda Silcott, the Republican voter registration office administrator in St. Joseph County.

It’s the contention of the Social Security Commissioner that Indiana may be over-using the federal data banks to verify registration applications.

Apparently, the data banks are only supposed to be used as a last resort-when an applicant does not have state identification.

The possible over-use warning came in a letter from the Social Security Commissioner to Indiana, as well as the states of Alabama, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, and Ohio.

Why would there be an overuse warning?

#98 SergeiRostov on 10.13.08 at 11:53 pm

I should also add that Hill and Bill are showing how immensely strong a character they have in keeping their word no matter how much it pains them personally to do so i.e. after Obama called them corrupt, unethical, immoral, imcompetent, and racist (and possibly crimminal). This plus the fact that they are the only politicians around who were proven by a Special Investigator to be squeaky-clean makes it doubly shameful that ObamaDNC just threw them under the bus.

However, I think they’re like Claire from “Heroes” in that no matter how many times you try and kill them, they keep coming back to do the right thing. :)

#110 Henerietta on 10.13.08 at 11:57 pm

I suppose all of us have had a difficult time sorting out our thoughts, especially our anger.

Once we sort, we realize the cheating and the theft of the nomination from Hillary by BOTH the party and Obama opens up a whole other set of mental insecurities for us.

The first thing is the downright wrong of the acts they committed to pull this off. They have shown themselves to be:
A. Untrustworthy
B. Corrupt (vote buying)
C. Thieves
D. Disrespectful
E. Coercive
F. Unethical
G. Sore losers

Let’s start with Untrustworthy. This one is the basis of all our distrust of Obama. We don’t trust him to govern carefully. We don’t trust his supporters to do a trustworthy job in the legislature. This ACORN thing with the voter fraud is just the last piece of the overwhelming evidence we see that these people, Obama and the party, cannot be trusted with something as valuable as our country.

Once we have investigated the breech of trust and then discover that there is more to distrust on every side, we become frightened. That fear turns into action. And, of course, you get all of us!

We are not bigots or racists to distrust a person and a political party that has proven to be untrustworthy. To trust them would be foolish……..

Murphy: Wait a minute…Murphy. Jody in Florida has stated that felons in Florida can not vote. That is a state law there.
So what I am speaking about is that issue in Florida.,
If 30,000 felons are registered to vote. Then, that registration, like the dead people registrations, is done in order to commit voter fraud in the state of Florida.
Like the dead people scam, the following is done:
People who are not the felons vote in the name of the felon and therefore another vote is added to a list of votes that otherwise would not be there were it not for fraud. Live people vote in thename of the dead people and , likewise, more fraud. This is fraud right now under the aegis of a state law that states, like it or not, felons cannot vote. So we are going to determine the constitutionality of whether or not a felon should be able to vote, using as a case in point, the registration of felons against state law? This is another Alinsky tactic.
Step over the current state law, then question the constitutionality of that state law in order to confirm what you have already done? Murphy, on this one..you are too pure of heart…why I love ya…

Regarding the Obamabots diary (from a a previous thread), I find it funny how he’s conveniently forgotten that:

1) The Dems have held Congress for the past 2 years;
2) The Dems (except for Hillary) were pooh-poohing the mortgage crisis while the Reps (and Hillary)were warning us about it;

Obama claims to have been warning us about it whilke at this same time:

3) he was the top recipient of subprime lender money;
4) the subprime lenders were among his top donors;
5) the subprime lenders were defrauding and abusing his own constituents;
6) the worst of them – Countrywide, since convicted in court – was giving him a sweetheart mortgage on his mansion;
and yet
7) For some reason he neither rejected their monies nor used his influence with them to preempt or mitigate the crisis.

Hmm.

#156 Henerietta on 10.14.08 at 12:18 am

If we do a one day primary, hold it for 24 hours, starting and stopping at the same time nationwide, have the same thing in the general election, then take 72 hours to count ALL of the votes, then announce the winner all at once, not coloring in a map with red or blue, we could clean up the news media substantially. Gone are the pundits……..for good………

Vera Baker. Certainly an interesting story. She is a principal in a DC firm that specializes in political fundraising. Of course, everyone is denying any trysts between her and Obama, but…..

Is it me, or does anyone else think it very strange for a principal in a firm that depends on elections to survive decides to go into seclusion on the island of Martinique during a time when the firm should be their busiest? U.S. Investing $250 Billion in Banks

WASHINGTON — The Treasury Department, in its boldest move yet, is expected to announce a plan on Tuesday to invest up to $250 billion in banks, according to officials. The United States is also expected to guarantee new debt issued by banks for three years — a measure meant to encourage the banks to resume lending to one another and to customers, officials said………..

Of the $250 billion, which will come from the $700 billion bailout approved by Congress, half is to be injected into nine big banks, including Citigroup, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase, officials said. The other half is to go to smaller banks and thrifts. The investments will be structured so that the government can benefit from a rebound in the banks’ fortunes.

SO , there are lots of crimes for which a person may be convicted and serve time which rise to the level of felony — I’m sure we dont want to disenfranchise EVERYBODY who’s been convicted of a felony.
____________________________

Here is how it works in all states and federally that anyone convicted of a felony that is serving time or still on probation(which is technically still part of the sentence) is stripped of the right to vote and that is itself a felony even if they register. But anyone that fulfilled their sentence/obligation is restored to full citizenship rights.

I received this from a Jewish Publication (Jewish World News) today. Thought I’d share.
——————————————-

Many Americans have questions about Barack Obama and his views on Israel. And for good reason. His positions on Israel are reckless.

Most concerning is Barack Obama’s naïve grasp of the threats against the United States and Israel.

From his opposition to legislation against labeling Iran’s Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization (barackobama.com) to his willingness to meet with Iranian President Ahmadinejad without any preconditions (CNN/YouTube Debate, 7/23/07), Sen. Barack Obama has raised real questions about his judgment and experience.

Sen. Obama told a Jewish group he supports an undivided Jerusalem, only to flip-flop the very next day. (MSNBC.com, 6/6/08) Another time, Obama called his support for an undivided Jerusalem a “poor phrasing” of words. (Jerusalem Post, 7/14/08)

Obama himself has pointed out that “words matter.” And they do, especially to people who care about the future of Israel. And they mattered earlier this year, when Obama stated, “Nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people.” (Politico.com, 3/13/07)

Sen. Barack Obama surrounds himself with a number of individuals and advisors who are hostile to Israel and American Jews. These men have played instrumental roles in shaping Sen. Obama’s world views. They include Zbigniew Brzezinski, General Tony McPeak and Reverend Jeremiah Wright. All are known for their anti-Israel views.

Obama has not shown the wisdom, experience or strength to stand up to the people who would do us harm.

Paid for by the Republican Jewish Coalition. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.

Someone said at the dinner, who is this guy and where did he come from? I never heard of him before the election.
That kinda started me on the right path.
We must win.
And we will. :)

I don’t either. But, I will vote for McCain. Obama is just too scary and, IMO, dangerous. He just has too many anti-semitic, anti-American friends and his vicious gay hating spiritual advisers such as James Meeks.

And let’s not forget having Donnie McClurkin open up for him. You have to wonder about a guy who actually WANTS to be introduced by someone who believes homosexuality is a curable mental disorder (because he was ‘cured’ that same way!)

But them, he wouldn’t be the only Obama supporter who’s in denial…. :)

The mortgage crisis is the mechanism that brought the house down. It was also one of the pieces of the financial puzzle that brought down the house in the depression. What fascinates me is that FDR’s solutions have been used again. Had they been in place in 1929, the crash would not have happened, or at least would not have been the disaster.

The Brittish are the ones that really solved this crisis. They took several measures today that stabalized the entire world markets. They forced the hand of all the banking rule makers around the world, including us.

It took about 10 days to get the things in line for today’s rally. We have to remember that not many people were selling. None were buying, but most people just sat on their stocks. That means that most of people only lost money in theory. They only lost if they sold. With a rebound, they regained a large protion of that. And remember, not all stocks lost!

We will be on an even keel until spring.

Jerome Corsi, WND senior staff reporter and editor of Red Alert, has fallen ill after he was forced to endure detention at the hands of armed Kenyan immigration authorities.

WND founder and editor Joseph Farah said Corsi has arrived at his home in the United States and is now under care of a physician because he is very sick.

“Corsi is still recovering from his traumatic abduction at the hands of Kenya security officials who halted his planned press conference in Nairobi and denied him and his party food for an entire day before allowing them to depart for London,” Farah said.

My opinion on felons and voting is simple:

I believe anyone who is convicted of taking away the voting rights of another should have their voting rights taken away in turn.
So that would include : murder, injuring mentally/emotionally/physically so as to incapacitate, certain types of vote/election suppression/intimidation, and so forth.

What is so pathetic and sad is that the American people care about and more concerned with the FL congressman and possible affair then they are about Obama and his corruption and criminal/radical connections.

Also they believ that FactCheck.org is gods word the endall of “Truth”…but factcheck is also in the tank for Obama and much of their information is inaccurate and blatantly false.

Also for anyone that is thinking of voting for other than McCain or not voting…what that does is in reality it gives the vote to Obama and not take it away from him…if we would havce had a concerted write-in campaign for Hillary done back when that would make a difference…but now we have two choices to vote for Obama or vote against Obama for McCain….those are the only choices that will make any difference….because like I said by not voting or voting 3rd party that does give that Vote to Obama and takes it away from McCain.

Reguarding felons voting I do not think people who are incarcerated at any level should have the right to vote. When you violate the law you risk losing some of your rights, that’s a consequence for violating laws. However I do believe that if a felon has done their time and successfully completed their parole violations they should have the right to vote…. It is not easy getting out from under a felony charge, one truly has to be dedicated to honoring all of their legal responsibilities….

There are people out their who get away with crimes, like “William Ayer’s” and his wife, they still have voting privillages…. So why not someone who has owned up to their actions and paid the price?

Being Squirrelly About ACORN
October 13, 2008 2:15 PM

As reports pile up of voter registration fraud connected to ACORN — the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now, a group that advocates for low-income voters – the campaign of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., has sought to downplay his past ties with the group.

But in their efforts to do, Obama campaign officials found themselves forced last week to correct an erroneous assertion made on the campaign’s “Fight the Smears” webpage that “Barack was never an ACORN trainer and never worked for ACORN in any other capacity.”

That wasn’t true.

Will Obama suffer from the ‘Bradley effect?’Story Highlights
Tom Bradley, an African-American, lost election for California governor in 1982

Exit polls had him ahead; theory is people said they voted for him when they did not

Some analysts say ‘Bradley effect’ could cost African-American candidate 6 points

No indication that Bradley effect has been a factor in recent statewide races

From Jason Carroll
CNN

(CNN) — Sen. Barack Obama has a sizeable lead over Sen. John McCain, polls show, but those numbers could be deceiving if the “Bradley effect” comes into play.

Polls show that Sen. Barack Obama has a sizeable lead over Sen. John McCain.

The Bradley effect is named after former Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley, an African-American who ran for California governor in 1982.

Exit polls showed Bradley leading by a wide margin, and the Democrat confidentially thought it would be an early election night.

But Bradley and the polls were wrong. He lost to Republican George Deukmejian.

The theory was that polling was wrong because some voters, who did not want to appear bigoted, said they voted for Bradley even though they did not.

“People will usually tell you how they voted after the election, but we found in the Bradley campaign … that people were actually not telling us who they voted for,” said Charles Henry, who researched Bradley’s election.

The Bradley effect is also called the “Wilder effect,” after Douglas Wilder, Virginia’s former governor. He won by just one-tenth of a percent, but as he pointed out to CNN, “people forget — in the exit polls, I was still double-digits ahead.” Watch how the Bradley effect could affect the polls »

According to CNN’s latest poll of polls, Obama is leading McCain by 8 percentage points, 50 to 42.

Some analysts say the race could be much closer or even tied if the Bradley effect is factored in.

“It leaves a question mark over this race, and we won’t have the final answer until the votes are counted,” said David Gergen, a senior political analyst for CNN.

But there could be an opposite effect, Wilder said.

“There’s going to be a reverse Wilder or Bradley effect. … There are some Republicans who are not going to say out front that they’re going to be voting for Obama, but they’re going to be, because the economy is what’s driving people to consider what’s in their best interest,” he said.

Some analysts say the Bradley effect can account for 6 percentage points against an African-American candidate.

Michelle Obama told CNN’s Larry King that a lot has changed since Bradley lost.

“That was several decades ago, and I think there’s been growth and movement,” she said. “I just believe that the issues are going to weigh in people’s hearts more so as they go into the voting booths this time around.”

Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown said last week that he thinks the Bradley effect could cost Obama several battleground states — and possibly the presidency.

Race “is still a problem in this country,” Brown told CNN. “It goes away when there are other troubles that are more challenging, and right now, whether or not we survive in the economy is more challenging. But race could rear its ugly head. I just hope it doesn’t before November 4.”

In the past 15 years or so, there’s been no indication in the polls that the Bradley effect has been a factor in statewide races.

Bill Schneider, CNN’s senior political analyst, said that if there is racism in this year’s election, it’s probably already showing up in the polls. And Keating Holland, CNN’s polling director, pointed out another important caveat:

“We’ve never had a black presidential candidate as a major nominee, so the polls don’t have any history at all when it comes to national

T/y but I didnt find it to hard. Nader voters are protest voters. I just emphasized the impportance of getting the dems back on track. Thats the key. A lot of sincere democrats are voting third party. Just push the need to stop “O’. If he wins the dems are locked into the current stance for the forseeable future.
Now who would want that? Appeal to their higher nature, thats the ticket.

#326 Sunshinelvr on 10.14.08 at 1:45 am

Having a hard time sleeping so here I am!!

Whether democrat or republican, You should get a kick out of this!

A little boy goes to his dad and asks, ‘What is Politics?’

Dad says, ‘Well son, let me try to explain it this way:

I am the head of the family , so call me The President.

Your mother is the administrator of the money, so! we call her the Government.

We are here to take care of your needs, so we will call you the People.

The nanny, we will consider her the Working Class.

And your baby brother, we will call him the Future.

Now think about that and see if it makes sense.’

S o the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what Dad has said.

Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him.

He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper.

So the little boy goes to his parents’ room and finds his mother asleep.
Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny’s room Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny.
He gives up and goes back to bed.

The next morning, the little boy says to his father, ‘Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now.’

The father says, ‘Good, son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about.’

The little boy replies,

‘The President is screwing the Working Class while the Government is sound asleep.

The People are being ignored and the

Future is in deep sh**.

I’m so happy you agree! They had so many calls, faxes, etc. The lines were jammed continually for a week and a half! (Not to mention all the economists who were telling them it was a stupid, useless idea).

But they decided to do it anyway, just because they’re Banking/Wall Street Masters asked.

We need to let them know, that’s not okay.

Best way to do that is thru voting them out of office.

This one is better..

Two Trees and a Woodpecker

It is hard to find a joke today without a dirty word or two in it, but here is one:

Two tall trees, a birch and a beech, are growing in the woods.
A small tree begins to grow between them, and the beech says to the birch, ‘Is that a son of a beech or a son of a birch?’

The birch says he cannot tell, but just then a woodpecker lands on the sapling.

The birch says, ‘Woodpecker, you are a tree expert. Can you tell if that is a son of a beech or a son of a birch?’

The woodpecker takes a taste of the small tree, & replies, ‘It is neither a son of a beech nor a son of a birch. It is, however, the best piece of ash I have ever poked my pecker into.’

I recieved this in an e-mail….

Subject: 143 days:

You couldn’t get a job at McDonald’s and become district manager after 143 days of experience.

You couldn’t become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience of being a surgeon.

You couldn’t get a job as a teacher and be the superintendent after 143 days of experience.

You couldn’t join the Marines and become a sergeant after a 143 days of experience.

You couldn’t get a job as a reporter and become the nightly news anchor after 143 days of experience.

BUT….

‘From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate.

That’s how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of George Washington, FDR, JFK, and Ronald Reagan. 143 days?

We wouldn’t accept this in our own line of work, yet some are OK with this for the President of the United States of America ?

Are we voting for the next American Idol? SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!

I agree… but, whenever Ogotohell gets negative publicity, he always reaches for the “racist” accusation. I guess it’s supposed to shut people up.

#392 Ario on 10.14.08 at 2:32 am

speaking of chavez…he needs to be the next to climb out of a hole in the ground!

#393 BrianH on 10.14.08 at 2:33 am

#281 Freddiebrown;
I think there might be a new version in the works. Nothing much to do with race, but everything to do with intimidation. Once people were somewhat racist but embarrassed to admit it. Now, people are resentful of being steamrolled by That One’s followers, but afraid to speak up. But in the privacy of the secret ballot voting booth, can express their resentment with a big black ‘X’.

Anyhow, that’s my theory, and I’m sticking to it.

#394 KER on 10.14.08 at 2:33 am

Dances-

The hatpins were really really REALLY thick needles, about three inches long. They were decorative (hehe, right…) and it seems to me the hats they went with were usually felt.

I think women wore them back in the 40′s? Probably were coincidental with Rosie the Riveter?

My gram had a lot of them around in the 50′s/60′s, but she was notoriously stuck in fashions’ past.

I think they died out in the early 60s.
My mother was stuck on fashion, classic, but still … I didnt inherit that gene. NO fashion sense atall (and, yes, I’m old).

#399 DancesWithPumas on 10.14.08 at 2:42 am

LOL! Ario. Righ!

I read an article published in our local paper about ten years ago… it advised homeowners who were thinking about selling their homes, to rent it out to a gay couple for a year and then put it on the market!

#400 KER on 10.14.08 at 2:44 am

Okay all, hopefully tomorrow, or one day soon, somebody in the media is going to ask the freaking obvious question. And then demand an answer:

If Americans are too racist to elect a Black man as President, then how did Obama win the Dem. nomination? How?

#401 Ario on 10.14.08 at 2:45 am

#409 KER on 10.14.08 at 2:59 am

Yes Ario, that IS the million dollar question. Somebody, Glenn Beck, one of the FOX people, Lou Dobbs, one of them has got to ask that question. And then they’ve ALL got to pile on.

Cuz this is really unhealthy BS.

And the US has got enough problems with REAL racism to infect the culture with this crap.

The possiblity of having a Black President was supposed to help towards healing our country. And instead this total asshole, Obama, runs a campaign that seems to have the objective of driving us backwards a good fifty years.

Now, on a much lighter note, thanks for the “conversation” tonight.

Sweet dreams everyone and may we all wake refreshed and renewed tomorrow in our efforts to make sure this guy who loves to use racism and sexism as a tool to get elected does NOT get what he wants.

Dances, Ario;
About Chavez: Chavez is a BIG booster of The Ossiah. Wouldn’t be surprised if he and Pelosi (a fan of his) didn’t help cook up the Ossiah-coup.

Speaking of Chavez, I wonder how he likes $7x/bbl oil. He’s funding terror all over S.A., and propping up anti-American socialist regimes with his excess profits, while inflation runs around 20% (official figures) and the Big Bolivar (1/1000 of the old little bolivar) trades at about 1/3 the official exchange rate on the black market, which is the only market with locked-down exchange controls in effect, plus price freezes at old levels below the current cost of production which has caused food and flour and cooking oil and meat to be almost unobtainable …

How does the future under That One look? Ask Chavez! Or not.

Democrats for McCain or Democrats against Obama.
I am sure you will get to the head of the line and star treatment and perhaps an interview… One Puma did – and got all of the above treatment…

Phil Berg sounded okay by himself.

But when his opening act is some logo that says “Illuminati” (conspiracy!), some animation that says it invented the internet, and a guy giving a disclaimer about tin foil hats, you really have to wonder. I guess you gotta dance with who brung you.

#415 freddiebrown on 10.14.08 at 3:32 am

#414 Nijma –
I thought the opening scene of the Phil Berg video was a bit over my head too. I didn’t understand why they preceded something so serious with something so strange. But there were other versions of the video that didn’t have all that at all.

So if Phil Berg sounds okay but he’s palling around with these guys, maybe because he doesn’t have the resources to make a movie..well, who are they and are they bankrolling him?

I’ve seen this link posted all over, but never without the illuminati preview.

Dances, I just found out the Moslems have something called “Salat bil layl” night prayers. If they get up in the middle of the night, they can say special prayers in groups of two–2, 4, 6, etc. If Allah DOESN’T wake you up for these prayers, it means you better start living a better life, because the ones that wake up are the favored ones. As for me, I’m going to read a few pages of “House of Bush, House of Saud.” It’s quite well written but I seem to be able to read not even one page before I’m nodding off.

#421 DancesWithPumas on 10.14.08 at 3:57 am

I could practice my “the”s…

I have a David Sedaris on my ‘to be read’ pile.
By the way, if you haven’t read “Me Talk Pretty One Day”, by David Sedaris, please read it. Even if you read only the title chapter… you’ll be in for a treat.
I don’t recall the last book I read. It was either The Poisonwood Bible or Animal, Vegetable, Mineral, Barbara Kingsolver.

Okay. I’m putting myself to sleep …

Goodnight, for the third time tonight. Sweet dreams.

#423 Libby on 10.14.08 at 4:28 am

I posted this on a previous link. Will repost it now just because it might be new information for some people.

The topic is Bill Ayers and how his rich, politically connected father helped to get Bill and Bernadine off, and opened the door for Obama.

Libby on 10.14.08 at 3:48 am

“Activist and a teacher”…………I looked at the orange tee……read the words………….thump, a lightbulb went off and I realize by his looks and thinks I have asked lately that maybe this is…….. Just asked faculty what he looked like and yup, that was him. I see him several times a week. I said I was working in obie land, but this is too freakin’ much. He asked me how I was doing, maybe he could see by my expression I had made the connection. Damn, now it will be difficult keeping this all on the down side. Gurrrrrrrrrrr.
Wonder if he would like knowing I have several hundred new flyers I just printed out his his brother’s mug all over it!

What the hell is another Ayers doing in graduate school in education? Is this the new family business? Since none of the Ayers could begin to match what their father did they are all going to graduate school in education?

Let’s see, Bill was almost 40, or may have just passed 40 when he got his degree. Okay. Lots of people do that. But now he has a brother doing the same in his 50’s or 60’s?

Maybe he will be next on the grant list, raking in grant money for the family since they have never learned how to earn money. But boy do they know how to get grants and throw away millions of dollars.

Can you tell us which of the Ayers “kids” this is by name?

There must be a real problem in Chicago about bringing up kids. I know since I was born from people who lived there that they just want to keep their kids, as children, forever. They try to instill this guilt about ever straying from the family line. Sort of like the mafia.

So when little Bill Ayers went off to be a bad boy, his Daddy had to back him up no matter how sad he was about Billys problems. Then when Billy came back home with a wife and two Grandchildren, Grandpa Tom had no choice but to use all of his connections with Richard Daley and others to bring these lost sheep back into the fold. IE. Tom Ayers called in all of his favors and bought them off. Sure Bernadine had to spend some time in prison, but hey, Bill never did.

In the last years of his life Tom Ayers got to live with Bill and Bernadine in their home. I have often wondered how their statements, read over the airwaves for years, might have reverberated in his mind? Kill your parents. They got it right, kill the pigs then they ate dinner and stuck a fork into them.

I hope Tom died of fear. Because that is what he unleashed on the world when he backed up his screwed up kid.

Right before Tom Ayers died Obama announced his run for President.

Bill Ayers would have been a nothing forever if it was not for his father and his father’s connections. The only reason Bill Ayers got off as a criminal, got an education and a job and the backing of Mayor Daley was because Richard Daley was a friend of Tom Ayers, and was connected with him in many ways.

So we can thank the nasty Chicago politicians for bringing us to this point in history.

In an effort to be “transparent” my great uncle had a lot to do with the build up of the Chicago Machine. What may have seemed innocent a century ago has become a crime now. But in fact it was always criminal. My uncle started out by paying out favors and those favors continue to this day to lead to corruption.

On February 10, 2007 Obama announced his candidacy for President of the United States in front of the Old State Capitol building in Springfield, Illinois.

June 2007, Tom Ayers Obit on a blog from one of his grandchildren. Much about how Tom backed his son Bill Ayers.

http://kimallen.sheepdogdesign.net/cinnamon/2007/06/thomas-g-ayers-1915-2007.html

Bill Ayers and Obama would have never had the grant from Annenberg in 1995 if it were not for the name and reputation of Thomas Ayers. Bill Ayers continued to spit on his father by using him in every way he could to bring about his boyhood idea of bombing things he didn’t like. He used his father’s backing to justify everything he did because he never paid for anything in his life.

Obama never paid for anything in his life either.

But he sure wants to distribute the wealth of Americans.

Why?

Just like Bill Ayers, Obama has mommy/daddy issues and thinks that taking down the country will help him solve those problems in his mind. People do not say the things about their parents that Obama and Ayers have, when they are adults, if they do not have issues.

Sorry, but you will have to work those out yourself. I am not giving up my country for myself, my children, or my grandchildren because Ayers and Obama had family problems that they think should be worked out by taking down the country and it’s people.

I don’t care how mad or angry they are. It is not their right to interfere in the lives of every American while they try to deal with their issues.

We certainly do not have to give them that right with our vote and we can take away their chance to do that by voting for McCain.

I would like to add my 2 cents to FreddieBrowns post earlier. Not voting is not a good option. People who do not know that it is not okay to register to vote 73 times are voting for Obama. Cannot those of us who understand what a vote is, at least make our votes count? Throwing away a vote is throwing the election to Obama. They have registered criminals, homeless people and kids who have no clue what a vote means but they have bought into the VOTE FOR OBAMA campaign.

Please, do not waste your time talking if you are not interested in not wasting your vote.

There is a mess out there and it may not be until December before they can figure it out and get it straight. But at least make sure you vote so that when they finally do an accounting of all of the votes, the ones for John McCain are clear and legal.

#424 Libby on 10.14.08 at 4:51 am

We are defeating ourselves if we do not take the best of our posts and post them to every place that are Obama strongholds. In the last few weeks we should take our best arguments against Obama and copy and paste them at Salon, Huffington, Moveon.org, and Kos. We know that they do not agree with us. We know they will call us vile names and make sure that we are called racists. But if we overwhelm them with informative posts then there is a chance that someone will read something that makes sense to them.

I wouldn’t bother to post and then see the results. Just do like they do….post. The difference will be that we have reasoned points and they can only name female body parts and use the term racist. Do not look back or pay attention to any responses. Just keep posting.

I don’t believe even a Demo Congress can NOT impeach Obama if he is proved not to be eligible after he is sworn in.
At that point, it would be a CRIMINAL matter. He would have to go to court and if convicted, go to prison. Hard NOT to impeach a guy who is in Federal prison for 15 years.
I want to get some opinions if I could.
We all know how hard Sean Hannity has been hitting Obama.
Question: Why hasn’t he mentioned the lawsuit? I mean, it’s not a smear to just mention the fact.
He’s got to know about it. Even I have emailed him on it.
Here’s my theory.
In Berg’s FOXToledo Interview tonight, he was asked why the RNC hasn’t brought this up. Berg said that he had heard the RNC has this info, and has had it for several months. However, they wanted to wait until the last week to bring it out so that the Demo party would be in Chaos and have no time to recover.
And McCain’s attitude has been just to flippant to be behind in this race.
Berg said he didn’t like that as he doesn’t want it to end that way, so his hope is that the case will proceed this week. I assume that it’s because he is a Hillary supporter and wants her to have time to get support. But, Obama isn’t cooperating.
To me, this would explain why Hannity hasn’t even mentioned the lawsuit. He has been warned off by the RNC, and being a good foot soldier, he would follow orders. When the RNC turns loose the dogs, Hannity will probably get first crack at it.
No one else wants to touch this time bomb.
So, does this sound right?

Sorry for this long post , but it is URGENT that Texas Pumas get to these meetings and SPEAK OUT AGAINST CAUCUS VOTING !!!!!!!!!!
Dear fellow Democrat,

This historic election year is changing the political landscape for the Democratic Party on both a national and state level. I am proud to report that approximately 1 million Democrats participated in our state’s convention/caucus system. Such a groundswell of participation proves that our state’s Democratic base is flourishing with the same strength that is mirrored in our national party. This surge of participation resulted in both excitement and revelation. The intricate workings of Texas’ unique hybrid primary/caucus system were magnified by this year’s participation levels, resulting in logistical challenges for some of our Precinct and County/Senatorial District conventions.

In response to this evolution in voting behavior, I have appointed the Advisory Committee on the Texas Democratic Party Convention/Caucus System to examine our primary and caucus system. The Committee will conduct a series of meetings which will allow Democrats from all across the state to share their primary/caucus experience. The Committee will then consider this feedback and make recommendations to the State Democratic Executive Committee for possible changes. For more information about the committee meetings, click here

Arlington Democrats will have the opportunity to participate in the fifth Advisory Committee Hearing which will be held at the Maverick Activities Center at UT Arlington on October 17, 2008 at 4 p.m.

Picture of Obama reading a book

Comment by Barbiegirl

This pic is of B. Obama carrying a book that he is obviously in the middle of reading.
Want to guess what the book title is?
-’The Post-American World’ –
It was written by an Islamic from India and contains his view of how America will fall from power as other nations and groups, including ISLAM, come to control the world markets.
Check out the picture.
To McCain/Palin supporters… Please send this out to your email lists!!!

If you watched Hannity’s show last night this all falls in place with why Obama is reading this book

the answer to all questions is
BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA OSAMA WANTS TO MAKE THIS A ISMLAM NATION AND DESTROY AMERICA

#465 Worker Bee on 10.14.08 at 8:19 am

Okay, I was one PUMA who had sidelined myself from the blog. But I am compelled to post this because I no longer have more than one friend to which I can vent.

After watching the “Obama counsels the Plumber on spreading the wealth” I have this to share with you all. And maybe there are some of you who might say, “hmmmm. Maybe Obamaworld couldn’t hurt.” But, please read to the end.

I have a sister living in Norway, married to a dairy farmer. They have 4 kids. It is true, the government pays for mothers to stay at home for a year to take care of kids. Yes, kids get free education…but not all kids get to go to college…the educable wheat is separated from the chaff by the end of our 10th-grade equivalent, at which time the uneducable chaff are sent to trade school, paid for by the gov’t, and the remainder go to University, paid for by the gov’t. Even if you go abroad to school, the state pays something towards that, too.

Pretty good so far.

Of course, as is true everywhere, there are people who will always be poor, for whatever reason. The gov’t gives them money, too. The working mass looks askance at them, however. But, Norway is a bit of a Bible-Belt nation, and they don’t complain about those on welfare. Too much, anyway. As long as ‘they’ are not Pakistani, who are regarded as not being very interested in being teachers or politicians. As you may not know, Euro states are having a hard time deciding which groups qualify as minorities, and therefore, recipients of entitlements. Take France, for example, where they couldn’t quite figure out who was a minority and who isn’t so their court determined that nobody is a moniority, and so France doesn’t pay entitlements.

Health Care: Yes, it is true the gov’t pays for healthcare for everyone. And you can get free healthcare, but not always when you want it, or when you think you need it. They DO cut corners; i.e., you won’t find docs ordering too many test or procedures. Of course, you can go to a private physician, for which you will pay from your own pocket, but you will be able to get further, faster care; when you want it or when you need it. I have many examples I could provide, but I will just give two:

My sister gave birth to three of her four kids in the hospital hallway because there were no labor rooms available. PUMAs who have given birth, I ask you to picture yourself in that situation…not nice.

Her son hurt his ankle playing soccer (14-years old at the time) and the doctor ordered an x-ray which showed nothing, sent him home with aspirin. Two years latter, he’s having trouble running because that ankle really hurts; then has trouble walking. But, because he was doing a year of school here in America, he got x-rayed again, the doctor said there had been a break that had not been set. When told about the previous injury and treatment, the US doctor said that only a negligent doc would not have taken a second x-ray a week later when the swelling had subsided, since swelling can mask fracture lines. PLUS, the boy was at an age of rapid bone-growth, which requires giving special attention to possible fractures. He will limp the rest of his life.

If you have a mental illness, plan on waiting 2-4 months before being seen. You almost have to be bleeding out to get appointments in less time than that. Yes, the gov’t will pay, but you can see the downside to gov’t-controlled health care.

And, re: my nephew’s minor ankly injury becoming a life-long handicap? Well, his parent’s attempted to sue the Norwegian (read, ‘state-sponsored’) physician, but to no avail. Are you kidding? NOBODY there ever thinks about suing. . .it just isn’t done, because the citizenry live in a sheep mentality. It doesn’t occur to them to sue. (And do not brink up America’s litigious society. . .people should be able to claim foul when wronged.)

So, how do they pay for all these things? Well, everyone, across the board pays 27% taxes on their income. But, read on, because their is a catch to all of this warm and fuzzy government caretaking. . .

Remember my sister’s dairy farm. Since most Norwegian farmers have inherited their farms from parents, you get the whole farm set-up immediately, with little to no cost. Now, if you are a hard-working farmer, and your herd increases, and the milk yield is good, that’s a good thing, right?! Except, when things are just stating to go well for you, and you are really showing a profit, the GOVERNMENT comes a’knockin’ at your door and says, “What? You say now you have 80 cows and the yield is showing a handsome profit that exceeds your neighbors’? Well, load those 20 extra cows onto that gov’t truck out there because the gov’t only allows you to have 60 cows.”

In other words, the incentive for people to work hard and make money and improve their lot in life is removed from the equation by a government that says all things must be even and fair. And I think there is something inherently wrong about removing incentive for hard work.

So, things do appear even and fair. However, one of the reasons Norwegians, like their Euro neighbors, complain about and castigate Americans for excessive consumption of goods is because their goods and services are waaaaaaay more expensive then they are here…because the government sets the prices, manages the market, and does not allow anyone to have more than their neighbors. And, they do not tell you about the high rates of unemployment that is rampant across Europe, and their bad economies. Even while they herald the so-called “fall of America”, their own countries are already doing more poorly that the US at this time. And, they also fail to mention that, despite very good, and honest intentions to help shrink the chasm between the rich and the poor, they have not really been able to do that. I guess there is something about the human condition that just chaffes at having independence taken away from them, and the inevitable consequence of not having reward given for one’s efforts.

Of course, the big lie about that kind of governance is that no matter how good the story sounds, there are still fat cats living in those countries who have lots of money and would be considered wealthy by any standards. So, somebody has figured outhow to cheat the system, and apparently the gov’t looks the other way with reagards to those individuals.
Starting to sound like George Orwell’s 1984?
______
So, when BO starts telling hard working Plumbers and Coffeeshop Owners, the Ballet School owners and Independent Film Producers and Hair Salon Owners about how good they’re gonna feel when they “spread the wealth around”, please remember my sister’s cows, and the $11.00 per gallon gas, the $12.00 jar of peanut butter, the overpriced scratchy toilet tissue, the Gap Jeans that cost $200.00 (and they are not even fancy Gap jeans). AND, there is no such things as Target, Costco, Kmart etc.

Just remember the cows.

Funny for the morning: from Bill Cosby

I HAVE DECIDED TO BECOME A WRITE-IN CANDIDATE.

HERE IS MY PLATFORM:

(1) “Press 1 for English” is immediately banned. English is the official language; speak it or wait at the border until you can.

(2) We will immediately go into a two year isolationist posture to straighten out the country’s attitude. NO imports, no exports.
We will use the ‘Wal-Mart’s policy, ‘If we ain’t got it, you don’t need it.’

(3) When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on it.

(4) All retired military personnel will be required to man one of our many observation towers on the southern border. (six month tour) They will be under strict orders not to fire on SOUTHBOUND aliens.

(5) Social security will immediately return to its original state. If you didn’t put nuttin in, you ain’t gettin nuttin out. The president nor any other politician will not be able to touch it.

(6) Welfare – Checks will be handed out on Fridays at the end of the 40 hour school week and the successful completion of urinalysis and a passing grade.

(7) Professional Athletes –Steroids – The FIRST time you check positive you’re banned for life.

(8) Crime – We will adopt the Turkish method, the first time you steal, you lose your right hand. There is no more life sentences. If convicted, you will be put to death by the same method you chose for your victim; gun, knife, strangulation, etc.

(9) One export will be allowed; Wheat, The world needs to eat. A bushel of wheat will be the exact price of a barrel of oil.

(10) All foreign aid using American taxpayer money will immediately cease, and the saved money will pay off the national debt and ultimately lower taxes. When disasters occur around the world, we’ll ask the American people if they want to donate to a disaster fund, and each citizen can make the decision whether it’s a worthy cause.

(11) The Pledge of Allegiance will be said every day at school and every day in Congress.

(12) The National Anthem will be played at all appropriate ceremonies, sporting events, outings, etc.

Sorry if I stepped on anyone’s toes but a vote for me will get you better than what you have, and better than what you’re gonna get. Thanks for listening, and remember to write in my name on the ballot in November.
God Bless America !!!!!!!!!!!

(NEW YORK)(October 14, 2008) The leader of the national anti-Obama movement, legendary Chicago Internet columnist and Obama author Andy Martin, will hold a New York news conference Tuesday, October 14 to announce that his mission will land in Honolulu on Wednesday, October 15th to begin the first investigation of Barack Obama’s “lost Hawaii.”

The Obama investigation has already received threats.

“We are notifying appropriate law enforcement,” Martin will state. “We have no way of gauging the seriousness of these threats. But people were already concerned for our safety. Receiving threats does not make it any easier. Some of us have a feeling we are heading into a hornet’s nest of secret evidence involving Obama’s concealed past; that is the reason why he has been smearing me using his media puppies during the past week. In any event, we take threats very seriously.

“Obama’s campaign is led from behind the scenes by people who have a history of extremely violent action. His authoritarian personality also lends itself to violent support. We will exercise all appropriate security precautions.

“And we will not be intimidated from seeking the truth in Hawaii about the mysterious Mr. Obama.”

After watching the “Obama counsels the Plumber on spreading the wealth” I have this to share with you all.
********************************

Govt healthcare: FREE CARS BUT TRAPPED BY THE SYSTEM

Thank you so much for posting that. My family (most) lives in England and I grew up part of my life there. Minus the farm….your story resonates so well. It all sounds so great, and it did help after the WAR.

Fast forward to now: example of govt health care.
My cousin has diabetes, it does NOT affect her life style at this moment. However she gets a brand new BMW every 2 yrs paid for by the govt. under healthcare. They cannot discriminate, one diabetic over another. They cannot discriminate one car company over another, cant give away just Ford’s. She goes to a car dealership and picks out a car and drives it home. Govt cars do have stickers, so it keeps down all the upgrades. But she doesnt pay a cent (or pence) for it.

Now, to get into see her doc, well thats a different story. It takes months….not 2 or 3. More like 6-9. She can get her free car easier than getting into see her doctor! Unless she pays herself or has private insurance.

She cannot afford to pay for insurance (as most of my other family members do). Over 50% of her paycheck goes to taxes. She is a store clerk, she doesnt make much, but the govt pays half. She is in her 40′s and cannot get into a college and get ahead. She is trapped by the system, as so many are.

And dont get me started on the EU. Watching fresh food be destroyed by ALL EU countries to keep up the price of food, as required.

It is a slippery slop.

HEALTH CARE IN USA NEEDS HELP
first we have to get a hold of doctors
and second we have to get a hold ins.co.
being a physician is not like you won the jack pot in the lottery, that you become wealthy immediately
my experience: i broke my risk in dic. in nycity
my insurance has paid the traumatoligist for 5 min that he saw me something like $4,000, with x-r ,etc i was in the hospital like 1 hr , the total is like 10,000, THAT IS OBSCENE
my sister has very good insurance, and doctors are abusing of it sadly she has a heart condition with a lots complications, the abuse of all kind of test she goes thru nothing i
is also obscene,
I AGREE WITH HILLARY HEALTH CARE , is in intensive care with an almost flat EKG

I expected to see Corsi on Hannity last night but as usual Hannity canceled it. What’s up with this. I know Corsi has nothing bad to say about Hannity and Fox since they do have him on. He did use the excuse of news cycles. Well the Ayers and Wright news cycle has been going on for over a year now. This one is fresh, the guy got thrown out of a country. Maybe have documents. Are the NY Execs scared of what he might have? Also what is taking Corsi so long to post the emails he has. It’s been long enough. It seems each time we might have something on Obama it just falls apart. Time is running out. It just maybe to late to do anything.

I guess Norway could be considered the :success” story over there. Maybe that’s why the are so resistant to joining the EU.

Also, chatted w/ my UK boss yesterday about politics…he mused that while UK voters are glad to have thrown Thatcher and her regime under the bus, that things really haven’t worked so well as far as reducing the gulf between the classes. Hmmm. Another reason not to go the socialist route.

Anecdotally, he says Europeans absolutely hate Sarah Palin; they say she is another Margaret Thatcher.

I sent him home with a PUMA bracelet. :)

Yeah, my parents generation loved Thacher. And my parents wanted the oppertunity to get ahead on their own. The ones that could afford it, came here. My mother would get homesick, so we would move back. But they couldnt afford it and we would move back here. My parents did well here, but struggled there. My dad was Oxford educated and struggled there. Course things were different, life is more Americanized there now.

Everday, there is Obama Drama, every single freaking day. Had Hillary won, we would have a regular good old American debate, race etc etc etc…we wouldnt have to be under all this hype, propaganda, dark past allegations, all this bullshit. period.

What is the big deal about voting for a black candidate?
When the hell did it become America’s determination to have a minority in office? Was I asleep? Havent minorities always been able to run for the highest office in the last what how many years.

One thing for sure, come Nov. 5th, that morning, unless of course there are other dramas coming out of the day of the election which i can already foresee being the case with all this voter fraud, half of America will like it’s choice of President and half of America will not like their new President. And this was indeed supposed to be the year of change. Aint nothing changed.

LATEST E FROM OBAMA

Dear Friend,

The final presidential debate is this Wednesday, October 15th, at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.

It’s the last chance for undecided voters to see Barack and John McCain side-by-side and determine who will bring the change this country needs.

And it will be the final time before election night to come together in this way with your friends, family, and fellow supporters.

Make the most of this opportunity by signing up to host a Debate Watch Party — or attend one near you.

If you’ve joined us for an event before, you know how powerful they can be to help build support and grow our movement. If you haven’t, it’s a terrific way to connect with fellow supporters and folks who may just be making up their minds.

If you can host an event, we’ll make sure you have everything you need to make it a success. We’re having a special conference call for Debate Watch Party hosts on Tuesday, when we’ll give you ideas for how to get your guests involved in the rest of the campaign.

In these final weeks, each of us needs to do whatever we can to keep strengthening this campaign and encourage undecided voters to cast their votes for change.

Sign up to host or attend a Debate Watch Party now:

This person’s attackes didn’t even have anything to do with politics , she was just throwing skeletons from peoples closets out and posting them for everyone to see , and trust me , some of my friends have some pretty hot skeletons !
When is this going to end ?

Im not missing a single point about PUMA, my dear friend a diehard HIllary supporter brought me to this group. We discuss all these issues on a daily basis, im in north carolina she is in Maryland. The Pumas were a project, group, whatever that came out of the way May 31st decision by the dnc selected obama and rejected Hillary.

The media has kept Obama’s campaign alive a well, they havent done a damned thing to help the McCain campaign unless you call totally blasting him all the time and using Obama’s camps word of the day to describe him, the lates being” irractic” even freaking dumbass Cheryl Crowe on Larry King used it last night.
There is a sickening tone coming out of many entertainers of late and I am almost to the point I not only dont have the view to watch, oprah type shows to watch, i will have a limited amount of music to listen to now. I cant even list the names, there just too many.
While we, the common folk, only have maybe some fox news and forums like this to even turn to. So, if i have missed the point of PUMAS please point out where I have missed it so i can convert myself.

Clinton doesn’t see a political role beyond Senate
WASHINGTON – Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton puts the chances of her running for president again at near zero — slightly higher than the chances she gives for becoming Senate majority leader or a Supreme Court justice.
In an interview aired Tuesday on “Fox & Friends” on the Fox News Channel, Clinton, D-N.Y., was asked the chances, on a scale of 1 to 10, that she would be the next majority leader in the Senate.
“Oh, probably zero,” she said. “I’m not seeking any other position than to be the best senator from New York that I can be.”
Being nominated to the Supreme Court?
“Zero,” Clinton said. “I have no interest in doing that.”
Running for president again?
“Probably close to zero,” she said. “There’s an old saying: Bloom where you’re planted.”
The former first lady, who was elected to the Senate in 2000 and re-elected in 2006, said she looked forward to working as a senator with a Barack Obama administration.

Well this is so telling how this year has taken it’s toll on Hillary politically and personally.

to me is in fact the healthier thing that could happen to america to have a president of minority descentry

Just wanted to share my videos from the Palin rally yesterday in Richmond, VA!!! I saw some Democrats for McCain signs, a lady next to me voting for the first time in her life, another voting for a party for the first time in her life because she loves Sarah (has always voted independent before). I thought of all of you PUMAS yesterday! Very ENCOURAGING on the ground these past few weeks, a much different story than the polls are telling. Just a note…someone vandalized my McCain/Palin yard signs last night, no fear I have four more in my garage! Osaka, your comedic posts should come with a “Spew Alert” for us PUMAs that drink coffee at our ‘puters!

Did anyone else see The One’s very revealing comment the other day that, “The ACORN doesn’t fall far from the tree?”

The fungus among us: ACORN spokespeople on TV dodging, weaving and reading talking points rather than address the actual allegations of fraud levied against them — with the implication that any criticism of the group indicates that the criticism reflects an intention to keep the poor and underprivileged from exercising their right to vote (What a surprise! Playin’ the race card, yet again).

#560 sistermoon3 on 10.14.08 at 10:42 am

Girlsrule, I think your video shows that when people attend a McCain/Palin rally, they have America on their minds, when people attend an Obama/Biden rally, they have well, Obama on their minds, that is a telling story all within it’s self, I have yet to hear people yell out at an Obama rally USA USA, or any such rally around the country cheers.

Pookie: Many black ministers at the local level have been coopted by the never ending, Community Development money used by sleze politicians to assure so called Church leadership affinities for them.
And, lest we forget, let us include , certainly, here the Catholic Church crony administrators too…ending and or beginning with the Bishop (This comes from a well educated practicing Catholic.) Earmarking is just another name for the age old what can I do for you today to ;make you feel good about me? When it is done outside of Congress, we call it any manner of names…but the end result is the same: Scratch, Scratch…backs and palms…till we tickle each other to death!

Ok, this is just plain scaaaary!

Obama and Bush Are Not So Far Apart:

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/13/wall.bush-obama/index.html

Excerpt:

“Since Barack Obama incessantly makes the case that a John McCain administration would equate to another Bush term, it’s worth looking at just how much Sen. Obama himself is in agreement with the unpopular president.

Does that mean that he, too, would be a repeat of President Bush? If one were to apply his logic, maybe so.

Here are 20 reasons why…”

I believe that Bob Shieffer will be the moderator for teh final debate. Mr. Shieffer is one of my favorite journalists – one of the few of the old school, who does a good job of staying unbiased. We’ll see how he does.

#583 girlsrule,

This campaign has exhausted me. I have never been so upset about a candidate, even GW. At least you knew he was an American. My Chinese friend at work said BO reminded her of Mao Tse-Tung with the kid videos etc.
I am going on a cruise the end of November with my sister to recuperate from all of this. If BO gets in, I might just get off in Belize and look for a place to live!

***** Berg Credibility Problem *****

Phil Berg believes 911 was an inside job and the Bush admin. planned the whole thing.

This is why MANY will have a credibility problem with Berg. Many see him as a total nut case. This is NOT good.

ASIAN:
I’m breaking my silence only to tell you how much I appreciate your wonderful video. I tried to tell you 3 times as a commentary on the video but it wouldn’t take. Also, I rated the video awesome and that didn’t register either although when I tried to vote a 2nd time they recognized my 1st vote. Your video had me in tears from beginning to end. The song alone can reduce me to tears. but the video made it more intense. Thank you so much.

#618 Flasunshiner on 10.14.08 at 1:40 pm

Loved your beautiful video, Asian.

Just a note…it seems that the dems are incessantly talking over Fox news people, who cannot get a word in edgewise, especially that dnc communications director, Karen Finney.

Finney would not shut up while being questioned about ACORN. She held up a photo of McCain at an ACORN meeting and is demanding McCain to respond to that.

I believe the dem party has been infiltrated by a bunch of…well, I don’t even know what to call them !

_____________________________________________
This isn’t true about ACORN. I just saw a morning news show this morning about this. And according to the facts, they have been investigated but, havn’t been able to come up with any proof. Second of all Obama has shown up at ACORN but, not to teach these people.
You should make sure that your information you print is true, and acurate. Use references or something. When I read stuff like this and question people in politics, make me not want to vote at all

I’m not sure what article you’re referring to, but ACORN is being investigated, and plenty of proof of fraud has already been turned up in Indiana, Nevada, Texas, and elsewhere. Part of what Obama did as a “community organizer” was to organize ACORN, and he was also their lawyer.

No offense, but I call BS until such time as I see some sources quoted, legal references, and such.
