Secondly, I just posted this downstairs regarding our liberal local newspaper in response to somebody posting how they are sending things to their newspaper and it is just sitting in the editor’s “in box”:
the newspaper decides what they want to put in and what they want to go into the “circular file”. Our newspaper (Appleton Post Crescent) is VERY liberal and probably prints about 1 pro Mac opinion to every 5-7 Obama ones. I find it hard to believe that the ratio of letters they get are like that. By the way, I won’t put anything in our paper anymore. Just after 911 I put something in the opinion section- our paper requires our full name and city and prints it. I was getting threatening full phone calls from people with a strong Arab accent and I actually had to call the police to watch the house. I decided back then never to send anything in to the paper again…

Words in the written form are not words that Barack uses when he speaks. They are listening to the audio version, too, and it appears as if he is reading a script rather than telling a REAL story. You can pick up on that. If someone has experience it in real terms, it comes out in natural voice—if someone is reading script, natural voice is less convincing giving way to “bed time” story telling. Oh Barack! You are something!

In my opinion you want to reach the everyday Americans who don’t lean too far to the right or left, but are seriously worried about the economy just like the rest of us. Think for a few minutes what appeals MOST to you about McCain (maybe the 3 most important) and list those things. Tell why McCain has earned your trust and why you could NEVER trust BO to look out for your best interest.

2. Obama Enlisted Black Congressmen to Back Bailout
Barack Obama made calls to members of the House Black Caucus and convinced them to switch their votes and support the Senate-passed $700 billion bailout bill.
Several lawmakers told The Associated Press about receiving calls from Obama, who told them that if elected he would help hard-pressed homeowners keep their houses.

In the first vote Monday, 13 members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) voted “no,” helping to defeat the measure. It lost in a 228-205 vote. Had the CBC members voted “yes,” the measure would have gotten the 218 votes needed for passage.
Obama keyed in on five of the CBC members: Reps. Elijah Cummings and Donna Edwards of Maryland, John Yarmuth of Kentucky, and Mike Thompson and Barbara Lee of California. All five switched their votes to support the bill after hearing from Obama, Newsmax correspondent Phil Brennan reported.
According to Cummings, Obama told him that if he won in November he would order an official of the Treasury Department to work with homeowners facing foreclosure to restructure their loans. He added that Obama promised he would try to make changes in bankruptcy laws allowing judges to reduce the amount of the mortgages borrowers owe.
“It’s not too often you get the future president telling you that his priority matches your priority,” Cummings told the San Francisco Chronicle.
Rep. Yarmuth said Obama had described the bill as “just patching up a hole in the boat to get it to port.”

Some people do not realize that this crisis is the natural order of a free market. When investors make poor judgements, the market has to contract (in a recession)to balance things out. This is like setting the reset button, rebooting a computer, calling in the chips, etc.
The problem has been how this mess got so bad. First were the governmental guarantees on bad loans. In the broadest sense of the word, the government caused this by forcing bad loan policy. ACORN and others like Pathfinders, FHLB, and National City’s Nehemia Loans were all pushing lending that the government backed. When it bellies up, the government is on the hook too.
There is something that every PUMA needs to be doing: Putting the word out about WHO set the loan policies and WHO forced those bad loan policies on the lenders.
When the public at large really understands the situation, and that Obama was involved long before he was even in the senate, and that Dodd, Biden, Pelosi, Frank, Kennedy, and others set us up for this fall, they will see the whole thing in a different light. Correct information delivered in an effective way is the answer to the ‘its the economy stupid’ mantra the Dems are singing. We cannot let them away with it. We need a flier that we can distribute on this issue.

The Galveston Bay area was hit hard as well (that is were my parents are), but as of today–they are picking up the pieces, restaurants are re-opening, and the boardwalk had some customers today—including me. The bay was gorgeous and a lot of sailboats were out.
I am going to check with a local paper called the Advertiser. It goes free of charge to every house in a 3 county area. I wonder how much it would cost to do an insert into the paper? I know they do it for some local businesses. I think I heard that it would cost about $200 to put 3,000 fliers in, IF we would provide the fliers. I think their circulation is about 25,000. I know they can target one area. What do you guys think?

Somehow I feel that the McCain campaign can tolorate being behind in the polls, but the Obama campaign cannot. The Obots need the fabricated poll numbers to sustain their morale while John may even prefer to be behind at this point.
Similar situation with Hillary. She actually caught up to Obama and beat him at the end, her victory only to be denied by the DNC.

Do those smallish cajin herb shops still exist in the French Quarter, or has it gotten to be too high rent?
There was a shop own there who I used to talk with almost daily. Sfter a few visits she invited me to come around and join her for breakfast… it was always poached eggs… but with some exotic (to me) herbs sprinkled on top. Unbelievable. Unforgettable. Whenever I recollect my memories of NO, I always think apples and poached eggs.
I’ve heard that war is an extension of politics by other means and I now fully understand that statement. The line between a political campaign and a battle is getting fuzzier every year. We have propaganda on both sides (democrat and republican), deceit, operatives who are basically spies, and hate. This year seems to be worse than most years. It saddens me. I wish this republic could hold an election where issues are debated, where people argue about which policies are best for the country, but maybe those days are gone. Maybe our republic is dying. I’m trying to look at this objectively and I see two candidates who voted for the biggest expansion of socialist policy since the great depression. I see people O’s surrogates using vile language against McCain supporters and they respond the same way. This campaign is making our republic look horrible. I don’t care what the rest of the world thinks about our country but I do care about what our citizens do to each other. Our country resembles past empires who in their dying days split due to infighting over resources. I don’t want this to happen but it may be inevitable now. I’ve been lurking a while and decided to register to post this. Any thoughts about this, whether in agreement or disagreement, would be appreciated.

My letter to the McCain/Palin campaign.
This is not a question. It is a statement. The negative ads about Ayers and ACORN, are working because up until now only news/political people with a reason to pay attention were aware of these issues which the MSM has refused to pay attention to.
Voter Fraud got Obama the primary wins especially in the caucus states. Obama has been associated with ACORN for nearly 20 years and with Ayers for nearly as long. He will not give out information about his education or his associations which would explain him being tapped by Ayers.
I know why Mayor Daley gave Ayers an award. Bill Ayer’s father, head of Con Edison, was a friend of Mayor Richard Daley. Ayer’s father bought his son out of trouble, and got Bill and Bernadine set up in jobs. Tom Ayers pulled every string of his political power in Chicago for Bill and Bernadine.
I know who these people are because even as late as last December 2007, they were still visiting college campuses talking to the SDS of today.
And I remember them invading my “hippie” table of 18-20 people every night at dinner and often during lunch when I was a student. We were not the only dining hall or group they targeted on campus.
Bernadine Dohrns returned to my old campus to address the SDS there. It was on youtube but after I mentioned it on Bill Ayer’s blog, it was taken off of youtube.
In the late 1960’s I was a student at Ohio University. I am sure that Terry Robbins came to my table in the dining room and talked to the people at my table for a week inciting them to march on the school. There was another man with him and I think it was Bill Ayers. I cannot prove that. But I knew they were SDS. I saw my friends change overnight and within a two week period there was a march on the house of the Ohio University President’s house while the President, his wife and daughter were in the home. It became a riot. After that night Robbins and friend were not seen again at my table or on campus. The next day I asked people who I knew, and had seen rioting from my dorm window, why they did it. No one could answer me. They thought it is was march and next thing they knew people were throwing things and it was a riot.
I read Ayer’s book, Fugitive Days, and Obama’s books and I do not see how people cannot see the associations with radical groups and doctrine.
Obama will lie about anything. His mother and grandfather were comfortable with communist ideas. Obama’s mother and father met in a Russian class at the University of Hawaii. Now he tries to make out like she was a Kansas native who had American values. No she did not.
Obama hired people to attack on message boards and call everyone who is not for Obama a racist. Those of us who have tried to have a conversation have given up because we know that whatever we say they will not read. They will just call us racist. They interfered with voting at the caucus voting places.
They are directing hate campaigns at McCain and Palin.
I know that Soros and Rezko have backed the Obama campaign with money because they want to see a socialist/Marxist America.
I don’t want to see that. I may not have to live through much of the results of an Obama presidency but I have kids and grandchildren who will.
Please fight for this election. I know it seems daunting but the polls have turned around after the info about Ayers and ACORN have finally begun to get out. And it needs to be out there.
I am a librarian, therefore I have professional research skills and the tools to use. I am fired up because I saw what Ayers and his friends did to my friends and the U.S. in the 1960’s and 1970’s. So as soon as I saw the name Ayers I began to do the research. Up until that point I was okay with the idea of Obama as President.
I am on board with PUMA’s who are also fired up because they saw up close and personal what happened at the Democratic polls, in the caucuses, to Hillary (their candidate), and how their party left them. And the people I am in contact with also have research skills and we are doing what we can to bring awareness to as many as we can. Mostly we just get shouted down as racists.
We believe in McCain and Palin. Puma’s are Independents (me) and Democrats who are willing to ignore every single difference with Republicans in order to support McCain and Palin for the next President and Vice President.
Please, Please, please, do not quit fighting to win. Bring up Ayers, and ACORN, and Soros, and Wright, and Rezko, and Obama getting federal housing dollars for his friends who then built substandard housing for poor people in Obama’s district. Then he redrew the district lines to move himself into a wealthy district.
No man has the power Obama has without some powerful backers and his are VERY questionable. His unwillingness to share his college records, or birth certificate, or his real association with the above mentioned people and NEVER BE CALLED ON IT is extremely worrisome.
People do have a reason to fear Obama. Set up your meetings so people cannot call out racist comments if necessary but do not allow an unqualified person to win an election because people do not know who he is or who his associates are, or how he came to power using questionable funding, questionable friends, questionable background stories that get rewritten constantly,
questionable standards.
Puma’s know that Obama never voices a policy until he hears it from Hillary or McCain. Then he throws it out, then takes it back and pretends that it was always his position.
THE MAN CANNOT SAY WHAT HE IS FOR BECAUSE THEN NO ONE WOULD VOTE FOR HIM.
He is comfortable with lies and will keep doing so after the election if he gets into office. And he knows that today.
Just like Bill Ayers, Rezko, Soros, Wright, Grandma, Phlager, rap artists, and others who know they were not thrown under the bus by Obama. They are quietly laying there by choice because they know that if he is elected, they will rule with him.
ACORN taught people to go out and call everyone racists well over a decade ago to get the housing loans they wanted for poor people. They attacked bankers and politicians with the word racist. And they won. Their win brought down Fannie, Freddie, and Wall Street. And they knew it would. They want to take down America.
And they want to be the dictatorship on top that ends up with the money and the power to take other peoples money so that they can extend it to the world. And they will lie and intimidate every single day of their lives to take down the last wall in their way…McCain Palin and the American people.
You asked us to fight with you at the RNC and we are. As hard as we can. Many of us have lost relationships with friends and family members over this fight but we believe that you are the best man for America.
Obama is not a good man. He is a Trojan Horse at best. He is an empty suit at best. At worst, and I do believe it is the worst, he knows that he has been chosen to win this election at this time, to take down America and bring in a form of Marxist Socialism. He needs to pay back all of those people who helped him do what his father could not do. Run a country, be important, succeed.
But the price of an Obama success is too high for Americans to pay. It is too high for this world to pay.
We are fighting for you. Please continue to fight for us.
Most of the people in America do not know what I or the Pumas know about Obama, and it has to be brought out into the light. Can’t do much about ABC, CBS, CNN, and NBC but if it is brought to the light then they will have to pay attention.
Please get this out. And please point out that Obama’s criminal supporters are not black, they are white. They are using him and he knows it. He is using them too.
I hope and pray that these last days before the election will be put to good use. You do not have to incite crowds with great one liners but you have got to get out the story of Obama vs McCain and what background is ready to lead America to undo the damage down by Obama and friends over nearly 20 years.

I found a great place to look is Chamber of Commerce websites in towns. Many of them list business owners emails. Copy and paste each email with a semi-colon between them and put them in the blind carbon copy address line. I think there is a limit if you use gmail or yahoo. I’ve sent 900 emails at a time. When one email address is limited for the day, sign up for another one!

Today I will be filing charges against the Obama campaign for trespassing! Yesterday I was out of town, an hour away from home, when my cell phone rang and it was the home security alarm company calling to tell me that the alarm was going off at my house and the police had been dispatched. I called everyone I could think of to go to the house and meet the police but I could not reach anyone on a Sunday afternoon so I called the local police and told them it would take me an hour to get back to town and that I was on my way.
When I pulled in my drive-way I was met with 2 police cars and police officers circling around my house. After the police searched my property, checked every door and window, they felt it was ok to enter the house. Much to the surprise of the police and myself we discovered that something was hanging from the handle of the front door…a damn Obama door hanger.
Now what is so wrong about this is that in Youngstown, Ohio we have 2 ordinances that apply to my situation; first, you can not enter any property that is fenced or has a closed gate without being invited, second, you can not hang anything from a door handle! My front porch has a railing and a gate that was opened by the Obama volunteer, and then hung a door hanger while clearly being able to see that I have 2 “Another Democrat for McCain/Palin” signs in my yard!
While hanging the door hanger the person had to have tried opening my front door and that is what set off the alarm system. I’m happy that the house was not broken into, however, on the ride home I was very upset and could have caused an accident and hurt someone else or myself plus I was mostly worried about my Yorkie being in the house and someone hurting him. Needless to say my get-away was ruined, my property was trespassed, and this is NOT ok with me. The Obama people are out of control and they run around neighborhoods without regard for city ordinances which they probably don’t give a shit about anyway!
And don’t forget to send it to all politicians!

I have to try and find the article that was in our local newspaper, The Vindicator, about a senior lady that was beat up and her house robbed by Obama supporters. The neighbors saw two men enter the woman’s house and knew they shouldn’t be there. They called the police and when the police got there they found the 2 guys in the house, the woman was hurt, and Obama door hangers. Obama campaign said they are not responsible because anyone can pick up hangers at the Obama headquarters and use them for their own puposes. This just happened last week. What a shame! Be careful out there Pumas!
Hey the polls are tightening! Don’t lose the faith! I’m in Illinois (downstate) and there are far more McCain signs than Obama – if that means anything. Downstate Illinois pretty much votes the same way as Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan vote; I find it hard to believe Obama is going to carry all those states.
Iam in upstate New York. I don’t know how it is elsewhere but up here there are noticibly almost not campaign signs out for either Obama or McCain. I am concerned about the anger underlying this election. I fear that if Obama wins someone will try to assassinate him and if he loses we may have riots in the street. I have watched viciously angry people at the McCain rallies and I have seen on-line and on TV the same in the Obama camp. Add to that the financial meltdown and we could potentially be looking at another “civil” war. I stopped visiting this site and contributing to it because, as much as I believe Obama is in no way suited to be President, some of the language about him was too hateful. I don’t deny people’s rights to express their feelings, but I personally needed to step away from some of the things that were being said.

I understand that comment. I am appalled by the voter fraud, but not surprised. I hope the FBI can get to the root of it in time. I am 60 years old and can’t rmembe anything like this. Besides no lawn signs there are almost no bumper stickers and NO ONE is discussing it. The most I’ve gotten is a neutal comment about no candidate to vote FOR.

I did not say that this site is hateful. However, sometimes the name calling didn’t seem to measure up to the intellectual level of where this site began. I was very involved when it was more positive. Since we were not able to get Hillary nominated, many peoples’ anger has come out in words. I just don’t ascribe to that and would rather concentrate my positive energy on having someone elected who does not have the history that Obama seems to have. Believe me, I have been to other blogs and to Obama sites. I don’t even go near them anymore–once was enough. PUMA has been doing some great work. I just try to surround myself with positive energy. So I visit this site less frequently. I am not attempting to disparage this site.
