Boy, it’s hard keeping up today – This is my third? repost. I think this is important. I’d love to see Congress flooded with emails and letters about Obama’s eligibility to run. Let them know we will never view him as legitimate without an objective, court review of his citizenship credentials. Why would anyone try to get out of proving citizenship when you’re running for President? Only makes sense if you can’t.

Monday, October 06, 20008 The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Barack Obama attracting 52% of the vote while John McCain earns 44%. This is the highest level of support ever recorded for Obama and is his largest lead of the year. It also continues a remarkable twenty-five days in a row where the Democrat’s support has never declined by even a single point. The Democratic candidate has gained six full percentage points of support since Lehman Brothers collapsed to start the Wall Street mess (see trends).

The Rasmussen Consumer Index, a daily measure of economic confidence, shows that both consumer and investor confidence has dipped slightly since Congress passed the financial bailout bill on Friday. If people could vote on whether to keep or replace the entire Congress, just 17% would vote to keep them and 59% would replace the entire Congress and start over again.

In March, Barack Obama’s speech in Philadelphia on race was inspiring and knowledgeable.
Attempting to put the Rev. Jeremiah Wright controversy behind him, Obama said he had “already condemned, in unequivocal terms,” Wright’s “inexcusable,” “divisive,” and “racially charged” comments.
Wright’s “incendiary language,” he said, expressed “views that have the potential not only to widen the racial divide, but views that denigrate both the greatness and the goodness of our nation.” Wright’s criticisms of the United States, additionally, were based on “a profoundly distorted view of this country, a view that sees white racism as endemic and elevates what is wrong in America above all that we know is right with America.”

The “offending sermons about America” by Wright, asserted Obama, were rooted in the past, in “a reality in which Rev. Wright and other African-Americans of his generation grew up,” a generation that “came of age in the late fifties and early sixties, a time when segregation was still the law of the land and opportunity was systematically constricted.”
It is this past that lives on in “the bitterness and bias” that make up the black experience in America, Obama explained, quoting William Faulkner: “The past isn’t dead and buried. In fact, it isn’t even passed.”
Despair is the price of keeping this bitterness alive, the price of the endless preaching about past wrongs. The “legacy of defeat,” said Obama, “was passed on to future generations, to those young men and increasingly young women who we see standing on street corners or languishing in our prisons, without hope or prospects for the future.”
Unfortunately, to keep things from cooling down, to keep the money rolling their way, there’s no shortage of hucksters who are willing and able to fan the flames of anger.
“At times, that anger,” said Obama, “is exploited by politicians, to gin up votes along racial lines” — and to gin up the flow of money from the pews.
“That anger is not always productive,” Obama asserted. “Indeed, all too often it distracts attention from solving real problems; it keeps us from squarely facing our own complicity in our condition.”
Why, then, given this call to reject “a politics that breeds division, and conflict, and cynicism,” did Obama establish a long-lasting working relationship with unrepentant former terrorist William Ayers?
Obama dismissed inquiries about his relationship with Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground, by saying that he was just “a guy who lives in my neighborhood.”
In fact, Obama served from 1995 to 1999 as chairman of the board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), the brainchild of Ayers, an organization that funneled some $100 million into the hands of community organizers and activists, including ACORN, in order to radicalize Chicago’s public schools.
Between 1969 and 1974, the Weather Underground claimed responsibility for some 20 bombings in the United States — at police stations, banks, jails, courthouses, the Capitol and the Pentagon. Ayers became a fugitive in 1970, reports Andy McCarthy at the National Review, after three of his cohorts were “accidentally killed when the explosive they were building to Ayers’ specifications — Ayers was a bomb designer — went off during construction.”
The explosive, a nail bomb, “had been intended for detonation at a dance that was to be attended by army soldiers at Fort Dix, New Jersey,” reports McCarthy. “Ayers attested that the bomb would have done serious damage, ‘tearing through windows and walls and, yes, people too.’”
Ayers, describing the Weather Underground as “an American Red Army,” motivated by “hope,” succinctly summed up the organization’s mission: “Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments.”
“I don’t regret setting bombs,” Ayers told The New York Times in September 2001. “I feel we didn’t do enough.”
Ayers, in charge of shaping CAC’s education philosophy, describes himself as “a radical, Leftist, small ‘c’ communist.” Rather than focusing on anything as mundane as math or reading, the job of teachers, said Ayers, is to “teach against oppression.”
Ayers “downplayed achievement tests in favor of activism,” writes Stanley Kurtz, a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center.
“Ayers wrote that teachers should be community organizers dedicated to provoking resistance to American racism and oppression,” reports Kurtz. “He believes teacher education programs should serve as ‘sites of resistance’ to an oppressive system.”

Today, former U.S. Senator Birch Bayh will visit Greencastle, Brazil and Terre Haute, encouraging early voting and discussing the Obama-Biden plans to “jumpstart the economy, put Hoosiers back to work, provide tax breaks for working families, and rebuild an economy that works for the middle class.”
Bayh will also be the featured speaker at the Obama Campaign for Change office opening in Martinsville, bringing the total number of offices across the state to 40. Following the opening, local Obama supporters will “march” over to the Morgan County Clerk’s office to early vote.
Beginning Monday, any Hoosier who is registered to vote can cast their ballot early at their local county clerk’s office or other approved early voting location. To find local early voting locations, dates and times, Hoosiers can go to http://www.voteforchange.com. Bayh will stop in Greencastle at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast at the Campaign for Change Office, located at 10 W. Washington St.
Voters will march to the Putnam County Clerk’s office following the discussion with Bayh.
Next, he will move to Brazil at 10:15 a.m. He will have coffee at the Double N Diner, at 1421 E. National Ave.
Then he will head to Terre Haute at 11:30 a.m. for an Early Vote Rally and March at the Campaign for Change Office, located at 509 Wabash Ave.
Voters will march to the Vigo County Clerk’s office following the rally.
Finally, he will be in Martinsville at 2 p.m. at the Campaign for Change Office Opening and Early Vote March, at 110 N. Main St.

This event does not have to be a threat of war or violent act. The order simply defines it as an event that threatens the interest of the US anywhere in the world.
Comments about this order at the time that I read indicated that if it appeared that Obimbo would win the election, given his views on Iran, et al, the administration did not want him to have the authority to handle Iran et al. and would perhaps stop the election under the aegis of martial law in response to some event. Certainly the economic events of the past two weeks will continue to have repercussions…Whatever the case, we are in for times never before seen here. I have just not figured out yet from what venues and why…though all are connected to the 1% global market money people , some of whom supported Bush and some of whom (the same or not I do not know) also support Obimb.

I am hoping the same thing too, I want it to hit 4 or 5, then our trading will start to recover. The world market is depending on USA to recover faster to pull them out of bed. If USA do not recover right away, global economy would be in much worse predicament. This is the best time also for our country to start building our natura gas pipeline from Alaska all the way to lower 48, speed up research and implimentation of renewable energy; this would put millions of Americans to work.
Something’s good is coming out of this in favor of USA. We must cut taxes and cut our expenditures, I agree with McCain economic plan. This is BAD NEWS for the Democratic Party; they’re the root cause of this problem starting from Clinton Administration. It was the explosion of DOTCOM that made Clinton Administration explode, by 1998, it started to slow down. I remember stocks of excite hitting $500/share, it was a bubble economy. That bubble economy started to lose air in the late 90′s.

An official with the Republican National Committee said Thursday that a group involved with voter registration drives in Milwaukee is “engaged in systematic fraud and attempts to undermine our electoral system.”
The comments came from Sean Cairncross, the party’s chief lawyer, during a conference call with reporters in the wake of a report that the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) had hired at least seven felons as voter registration workers in the city.
The Journal Sentinel has reported on problems with voter registration cards submitted to the city by workers for the group and another liberal group, the Community Voters Project.

Maybe this type of stupidity is similar to falling in love and later finding out that person isn’t as good as they pretended to be. It takes awhile to ‘get over’ them. Plant the seeds in Democrats heads so when they go into the voting booth, they will have second thoughts of four years of a person they really don’t love.

Depends on the degree and type of confidence. The continuum runs the gammut from blowhard confidence (which belies inadequacy), and the kind of confidence that is grounded in competency.
I suppose the lower end of the scale might be sexy if one is into SM, B&D, or just ignorant.

I copied the Fox investigation into Realplayer, but I can’t burn it to DVD because it has the wrong file extension for Windows movie maker. I don’t want to convert it in RealPlayer because then I have to pay $40 for a special version of RealPlayer. Any ideas how I can get this into Windows movie maker and burn it?

Just got word that one of my staunch republican friends has just changed his mind. He is voting dem. for the first time ever. He is union and was fed a bunch of stuff from the union leaders. His wife is beside herself. He hates hates hates democrats and is so repub. that his 5 year old hates democrats! He is voting Obama. His reason: to stop McCain.

Talking to a woman here where I live, she is one of those ‘in-home’ caregivers for elderly disabled~~~She is so turned off by BUSH that she refuses to listen to anytrhing. She said shes not voting for McCain cuz he’s identiocal to Bush,(I tried to argue that one to no avail) and she doesn’t like Sarah Palin because ‘she’s disrespectful of the people.’ I asked how, and she said, “well she refers to people as ‘Joe Sixpack.” OMGGG~!!!!

Boy, it’s hard keeping up today – This is my fourth? repost. I think this is important. I’d love to see Congress flooded with emails and letters about Obama’s eligibility to run. Let them know we will never view him as legitimate without an objective, court review of his citizenship credentials. Why would anyone try to get out of proving citizenship when you’re running for President? Only makes sense if you can’t.

Did anyone see Fox News this morning? An anchorwoman said she got an e-mail from someone who said he voted 3 times for McCain today. Sounds fishy to me. Sounds like an Obot.
Someone suggested making dvd copies of Hannity’s show last night. I think that is a good idea. If someone could make cop[ies on their computers with cheap dvd’s and pass them out at supermarkets and places like Walmart. I would but my computer CD and DVD don’t work now. I don’t know what happened to it. I think an Obot put a virus on it. Anyway, if someone was to make these, try to think of a good title to put on it. Hannity’s America Bombshell or something like that.
There is alot of people that don’t get Fox News. I know a couple of people who don’t. I do have a DVD recorder and VCR combo. But it will tape on only higher priced DVD’s. I may tape a few from my VCR (I taped it too)to give to my uncle who lives in another state, who doesn’t get Fox. He is not voting for BO but he says he can’t vote for McCain either. He doesn’t know all these things. He watches CNN. I keep telling him, they are for OB. This will really show what CNN is not reporting.
