#448 mick exactly...these are the only people that the cajuns of Louisiana have to rely on...who would you support in such a case??
With no other options??
Since you were there, I will defer to you. However, do you see my point?

# 442 CyberFerret, "Ario, Nagin did get people out of the city…research it!"

Research it??? PUHLEASE!!! You are kidding right?? What exactly did Nagin do to get the poor people, the old people, the disabled people out of the city before Katrina hit?

Look, I don't care what you find on Google, I helped take care of over 200+ people at my Church, (and there were 1000s more next door at NSU), that were poor, old and sick and NOBODY, especially Nagin, did a damn thing to help them get out of the way of Katrina. Trust me, you don't want me to share with you the horror stories that they went through.

This topic is a hot button for me, and I get really sick of hearing people that aren't from this area tell me that Nagin and BlancZero did a good job during Katrina. Sorry, but that is a joke. Nagin has redeemed himself since, but he dropped the ball during Katrina, and that's a fact.

#337 jenniforhillary, thanks for the advise…I do have a JD in Law and I am not sure according to the election law if we can request a refund for being mislead..Yet, saying that I do think Hillary covered her bases by saying ” If BO get the nomination I will support him” I know I heard her say that several times at the fund raisers I attened. Even Rob Reiner stated Hillary will support BO if he is the nominee to keep the democratic party together…So, I will be looking into this…Thank YOU, and never give up I know I won’t!!!!
________
Maybe people who donated to her should file a class action lawsuit(where a bunch of people sue, not just one person?). I'm sure you could find a nice republican lawyer to take the case(LOL).

#181 cellphone registration
Snopes says the rumor that you have to register cellphones immediately to avoid telemarketers is false.
http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/cell411.asp

The National Do Not Call Registry also acknowledges the viral email:

Can I register my cell phone on the National Do Not Call Registry?

Yes, you may place your personal cell phone number on the National Do Not Call Registry. The registry has accepted cell phone numbers since it opened for registrations in June 2003. There is no deadline to register a home or cell phone number on the Registry.

You may have received an email telling you that your cell phone is about to be assaulted by telemarketing calls as a result of a new cell phone number database; however, that is not the case. FCC regulations prohibit telemarketers from using automated dialers to call cell phone numbers. Automated dialers are standard in the industry, so most telemarketers don’t call consumers on their cell phones without their consent.
