Projecting through the Screen [Rich Lowry]
A very wise TV executive once told me that the key to TV is projecting through the screen. It’s one of the keys to the success of, say, a Bill O’Reilly, who comes through the screen and grabs you by the throat. Palin too projects through the screen like crazy. I’m sure I’m not the only male in America who, when Palin dropped her first wink, sat up a little straighter on the couch and said, “Hey, I think she just winked at me.” And her smile. By the end, when she clearly knew she was doing well, it was so sparkling it was almost mesmerizing. It sent little starbursts through the screen and ricocheting around the living rooms of America. This is a quality that can’t be learned; it’s either something you have or you don’t, and man, she’s got it.

Lack of oversight blamed for fraudulent voter registration applications

CROWN POINT — A breakdown in quality control allowed a pile of suspected fraudulent voter registration applications to find its way into the hands of Lake County election officials, said an official for the organization that collected the applications.
Charles Jackson, national spokesman for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), said the group rigorously inspects applications its canvassers collect on voter registration drives across the country.
In Indiana, Jackson said a pile of applications which had been tagged as suspicious accidentally got delivered to Lake County elections officials along with a pile of “clean applications.”
Lake County election workers discovered dozens of ACORN-delivered registration forms they believe contain inaccurate voter information, including one in which a dead man from Gary was listed as the applicant. None of those applications was processed.

I DO believe that woman on tv is legit. This is EXACTLY what nobo did during the entire primaries. They allegedly are transporting people who don’t have transportation to the register and/or vote. FOX had someone on today who is doing a “stealing the election” or “stealing the vote” watch in Ohio and it has been about 5 days now. He also has a radio show also doing the watch. (someone on Fox with last name Gibson).
This would be a good time to write or call ALL media, Repubs and Ohio SOS and AG on the fraud. I imagine some of the contact info is in the PUMA action center.

If there’s anything worse than hell, it is it. Life was so cheap, one whole chicken has more worth than life of a human being during those time. A bullet of .45 is only a buck. There was a liquidation unit called “Sparrow,” usually they ride a motorcyle, the shooter is the passenger at the back. Seen quite a few killings, the worst was a cop shot standing beside me. I just got out of the University waiting for taxi to go home it was around 4pm; I was at the waiting area the cop was less than two feet away from me, I heard a loud bang, the guy beside me hit the ground, just in time the taxi arrived. I didn’t know I had blood on my face, the driver told me about it. When I got home, my mother screamed when saw me, I didn’t know it was a lot of blood; headshot for the cop, blood splatter for me.

For those of you who aren’t hard-core history buffs, Biden not only named the wrong president during the 1929 stock market crash, he also claimed a president who wasn’t president during the stock market crash went on TV before Americans had TVs.
Other than that, the statement holds up pretty well. At least Biden managed to avoid mentioning any “clean” Negroes he had met.
Couric was nearly moved to tears by the brilliance of Biden’s brain-damaged remark. She was especially intrigued by Biden’s claim that FDR had said the new iPhone was the bomb!
Here is Couric’s full response to Biden’s bizarre outburst about FDR (a) being president and (b) going on TV in 1929: “Relating to the fears of the average American is one of Biden’s strong suits.”

How does the Democratic ticket stack up on other major issues facing the nation, say, gas prices?
Shockingly, Sen. Joe Biden was one of only five senators to vote against the first Alaskan pipeline bill in 1973. This is like having been a Nazi sympathizer during World War II. If Sarah Palin does nothing else, she has got to tie that idiotic pipeline vote around Biden’s neck.
The Senate passed the 1973 Alaskan pipeline bill by an overwhelming 80-5 vote. Only five senators voted against the pipeline on final passage. Sen. Biden is the only one who is still in the Senate — the other four having been confined to mental institutions long ago.
The stakes were clear: This was in the midst of the first Arab oil embargo. Liberal Democrats, such as senators Robert Byrd, Mike Mansfield, Frank Church and Hubert Humphrey, all voted for the pipeline.
But Biden cast one of only five votes against the pipeline that has produced more than 15 billion barrels of oil, supplied nearly 20 percent of this nation’s oil, created tens of thousands of jobs, added hundreds of billions of dollars to the U.S. economy and reduced money transfers to the nation’s enemies by about the same amount.
The only argument against the pipeline was that it would harm the caribou, an argument that was both trivial and wrong. The caribou population near the pipeline increased from 5,000 in the 1970s to 32,000 by 2002.
It would have been bad enough to vote against the pipeline bill even if it had hurt the caribou. A sane person would still say: Our enemies have us in a vice grip. Sorry, caribou, you’ve got to take one for the team. But when the pipeline goes through and the caribou population sextuples in the next 20 years, you really look like a moron.

Why do you dislike Landrieu?? Senator Landrieu voted NO for the Bailout Bill. I like her and I don’t say that about too many Democrats. I disagree with her on many issues because I’m a Republican but she’s done a good job overall for her party. There was plenty of blame to go around over what happened with Katrina. I put most of the blame on Gov. Blanco and Mayor Ray Nagin.

Another of Soros practrices is media manipulation. This is how they are using what I call fake-out strategy. By making people think something is true (like the polls), then it sways people a particular way. So, if they can get the media and/or pollsters to make the polls appear a certain way (i.e. nobo is ahead by 8 points over McCain), then everyone starts to believe it. Then those against nobo or on the fence will either give in and vote for him or stay home because they “believe” he is going to win and have no choice because the “polls” say. But as long as the public THINKS McCain is losing (true or not) they just say “why waste my time voting for McCain, he is going to lose anyway.”
I know this sounds nuts and I have been talking alot about Soros in the past few weeks but it is true. The more I started researching about Soros the more frightened I got. Nobo is not a novelty in his ideas. HE has integrated all these practices, I believe, to use the well-organized, planned and manipulative attempt to control the WORLD. Should by some freak accident nobo gets into office we will be all belong to the socialist state of America. Money and power do control the world.
I don’t get why people like Hannity, Dobbs and O’Reilly don’t put this all together. All the research and actions is there, well-documented and bragged about by Soros.

My theory on the home stretch of the campaign.
McCain is at a money disadvantage. So he has to play smarter. McCain, being a warrior at heart, will hold fire until he can see the whites of their eyes.
He will conserve his resources for a final devastating volley. $84 million does not go far in 2 months, but it can make a big impact in the last 3 weeks.
Also, any of the devastating ads will be held until the last week to 10 days – long enough to give maximum impact but a short enough time frame that gives Obama little chance to react and respond. There will be something soon that will get people’s attention, and will distract Obama forcing him back on his heels. That will be the head fake. While he is focusing on that issue, another shot will come in from another direction.
Obama is too much of a target rich candidate to allow that opportunity to slip by. recall what McCain did to Romney – he ran a blistering ad a couple of days before the primaries, and that sunk Mitt’s chances. Mitt did not have time to respond to it.
I am keeping my fingers crossed. And hoping that we’re in for some pleasant surprises.

Just wanted to share this. During the primaries and after, I donated 600.00 to Hillary’s campaign, always online and it said thank you for your donation as the transaction was completed…..
Two or so weeks ago I donated 25.00 to the McCain campaign, that’s it 25.00, it also said thank you at the end of my transaction. I have never donated to him before or since. Today I recieved a letter in the mail from the McCain campaign that said…Dear Michelle thank you for your generous contribution, if I have the privelage of serving as your president it will be because of people like you or something to that effect. It was short to the point and about three sentences or so long and simply signed John. I guess I just thought it was very respectful, I don’t mean that in a corny way either, I was impressed, his is a generation of manners, thoughtfulness and above all respect, I truly think those are attributes that very few people have these days and dare I say our world is sorely lacking because of it.
There is something “Very Rotten in Denmark” going on here…..Obama winning by LANDSLIDE….he is the almighty O-ssiah because he made phone calls and got them to past the Bailout……………Did the entire world go completely MAD?

Anything PUMA does, big or small is making a difference, and it has an impact. Sometimes that impact is negligible, sometimes it is apparent. When PUMA do the prowl sometimes you feel it is not working, we don’t see it in the news, what we see is the effect of such prowl which is quite apparent. When you tackle a big project such as reform in our democratic process(primary), it will never be easy; you’d face frustrations, stumbling blocks one on top of the other, it seems no end in sight. What PUMAs are doing is to awaken the consciousness of the American people; they must be proactive instead of reactive. Because of tumultuous primary election we’ve had, the American people are seeing the problem is not just economics, but far deeper, the foundation of this country which is our democratic process is under siege.
I think this is the first time in our generation, democrats, republicans and independent voters stand side by side totally disregarding political affiliations and put their country forefront. What is at stake here is bigger, more profound, that is our democratic process. If the people don’t stand up for what is right, this country will fall without a ounce of doubt in my opinion.
JSND, PUMA and other organizations have one focus right now; defeat of Obama is a MUST, it is a NECESSITY. We don’t have the luxury of time, in fact, time is our enemy. We have 30 days to do that, I say, PUMA must continue with the prowl, whatever news you read or have seen in youtube forward it to everyone in your email lists and asks your recipient to forward it to people in their email lists. God forbid, Obama made it into the Whitehouse, we all can kiss our democratic process goodbye. Ask yourself this, why did he VOTED FOR FISA? That is a prelude what he is about to do if he makes it into the Whitehouse.
If people dissect everything Obama says, it would bring chill down their spine. I was very impressed with Obama at first, then in one of their debates (California) when he said he would bomb Pakistan if they have Al Qeada, alarm bell in my head starts ringing. Right then and then, I knew he’s a dangerous man, there’s impulsiveness about him matched with arrogance. There’s no humbleness in Obama’s bone, as far as he’s concern, he is always right, knows everything. That’s why he talks down on people. When you look at history of dictators and tyrants of the world; Obama fits the profile to a T. You’re seeing now indoctrination of children; parents happily volunteer their innocent child for political exploitation. It is naivete on their part or downright ignorance. We’ve seen this during the THIRD REICH, I’ve seen it in my own country. Always remember this, “children are like wet cement, whatever falls on them, leaves an impression”. The easiest minds to mold are minds of young children, it’s like a sponge, and they are open for any kind of information feed to them by adults. I fear for this country, I hope to God the people will wake up from their long slumber before its too late.
