consumers can borrow again so that we can get things functioning again.
WAKE UP AMERICA !!!!!!!!! It is the extreme loose availability of credit that got
these companies and us where we are today by living on credit. And everyone
that has a credit card and doesn’t pay it off monthly, or bought a house that was
way out of their price bracket, or bought anything out of their bracket, because
the credit was available, is guilty and a part of the problem. The addiction to
credit/credit cards has gotten everyone where we are today. And the only way to
correct this is to tighten credit availability up and bring it into reality figures. One
reason (only one of the reasons) for the Depression, (there were so many
different factors involved that created the depression … stock market crash, even
more the Dust Bowl drought of the 30′s, extreme tarriffs, etc. etc.) was that during
the 1920′s money was flowing fast and credit was flowing even faster and easier,
And as now people and businesses were living way high on the hog and
credited/borrowed out way beyond their means. So when a natural correction in
markets came it came big to correct for the big increases that had been going on
for over 10 years.
The worst thing going on now is the DOOM AND GLOOM SCARE TACTICS that
Wall Street, Pres. Bush, the covernment, and most of all the media are
propagating and that needs to be stopped dead right now. Sure people and
companies have lost money and more will too. But the market prices have been
so inflated out of reality that it must correct itself the best way it can, and
sometimes that means drastically when no one is paying attention to what it
says. Every now and then we need a slap in the face to wake up and drive right.
The country has lived through much worse situations than what is going on
right now. The 777 pt drop in one day is the largest 1 day point drop, BUT it is
only 7% decline. 9/11 was a 7.2% decline, the mini crash of 1989 was 12% down,
the crash of 1987 was down 508-point, nearly 23%(that was worse than 1929′s
crash of 22%). Yes with the bank failures and market corrections that $100,000
house you bought 5-10 years ago won’t be worth $400,000 any more but
$200,000. And that way over inflated $3.59 loaf of bread may actually go back to
reality pricing of $1.59. So you will not be losing profit in the home just the
GREED value.
Just think…figure it out…how much would you need to make a month to live a
NORMAL comfortable life if you didn’t have all that greed credit and credit card
debt…..the average person comes to 40-50% of what they are making now.
Sure there is legislation and securities that the Congress needs to deal with but
the urgency and need for this rush to throw $700 bil away is anything but
neccessary.
This is a market and economic MANDATED CORRECTION on GREED and
excess credit/borrowing and it must be allowed to play out under guidance. Or it
will jump back in a year or so and hit you over the head and knock you out with
vengence. It’s like a spring that only stretches so far before it snaps back and
corrects itself. This stretching has been going on since the ’90′s without any
major relaxing or correction. Beware of the ever increasing inflated market!
So fear not you will survive and even realize a profit!
As long as you elect the right representation that will take it slow and steady instead of reacting like now with knee jerk reacting and chasing their tails.

If Sec 103 of the bill still includes ACORN, someone who lives in Marcy Kaptor’s district in Ohio needs to contact her and tell her she is wrong. She said on C-Span this a.m. that ACORN was removed from the bill. She sounded intelligent and thoughtful but I don’t know if she is right on this issue.

Don’t believe that Villaraigosa’s “plan” will amount to anything productive. More taxes on homeowners, but not apartment owners, will just drive more people out of their homes. Quality of life, more crowded, deteriorating roads and freeways, more demand for less water and electricity, etc. The infrastructure needs to be shored up and Villaraigosa needs to do more about schools, hospitals, and jobs in L.A. Those “donors” almost always sock it to the taxpayers in one way or another.

A listener, William, sent us a compellation of various times when ACORN has resorted to voter fraud, just to get their Messiah, Barack Obama, elected. Here’s a synopsis of some of the different cases against ACORN, just in this election season alone. Are you starting to understand what is going on here, folks? These are not isolated incidents. Now as you read of these incidents remember, please, that during Obama’s days as a community organizer he was deeply involved with ACORN. That ought to set of some alarm bells with the media … ought to, but it won’t.

A Florida state attorney is investigating thousands of potentially fraudulent voter registrations associated with the leading organizer of Florida’s Amendment 5 ballot initiative. But this is just the tip of an iceberg of illegalities, fraud and contradictions connected to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) … Former ACORN Miami-Dade field director Mac Stuart has declared an intent to sue ACORN and has made charges of rampant voter fraud operations. Stuart was employed and specifically tasked by ACORN to generate 103,000 new voter registrations from Dade County. He reports that ACORN threw out Republican registrations while paying for Democratic ones. Stuart also charges that ACORN targeted ex-cons and that he personally set up registration tables outside the Miami police department and Dade County jail.

This week officials in New Mexico’s most populous county (Bernalillo) notified federal authorities that more than 1,000 fraudulent voter registration cards were submitted to the clerk’s office. ACORN, which pays workers for each registration, is the prime suspect since it has handled thousands of new voter registrations in New Mexico since January. County workers subsequently discovered that at least 1,100 new registrations list Social Security numbers for people already in the county’s database of registered voters, names of registered voters with different birth dates and addresses that don’t exist.

Criminal investigations could be launched against at least six voter registration workers who tried to add dead, imprisoned or imaginary people to the voter rolls, according to the Milwaukee Election Commission and the organization that employed them. “One woman called us to complain because her husband has been dead for 10 years and a voter registration was submitted,” Edman said. In about 12 cases, deputy registrars paid by ACORN were “making people up or registering people that were still in prison,” said Carolyn Castore, ACORN’s state political director. And in other cases, workers used the same address for numerous voters or used driver’s license numbers that did not fit the voters’ birth dates, Edman said. But most of the fraud involved submitting duplicate cards for voters who were already registered, and forging the voters’ signatures, Castore said.

A national organization that conducts voter registration drives for low-income people has curtailed its push in Cuyahoga County after the Board of Elections accused its workers of submitting fraudulent registration cards. Board employees said ACORN workers often handed in the same name on a number of voter registration cards, but showing that person living at different addresses. Other times, cards had the same name listed, but a different date of birth. Still another sign of possible fraud showed a number of people living at an address that turned out to be a restaurant. ACORN has submitted about 75,000 voter registration cards to the Cuyahoga board this year.

A community organization, with longstanding ties to Barack Obama, has, according to numerous reports, repeatedly run afoul of voter registration laws both locally and nationally. Philadelphia election officials recently accused ACORN, of filing multiple fraudulent voter registrations during the 2008 Pennsylvania primary. The case has been referred to the U.S. Attorney’s office, according to Philadelphia Deputy Election Commissioner Fred Voight. Delaware County election officials have made similar allegations against the group, and criminal indictments are pending. This past July 24, Dauphin County detectives offered a $2,000 reward for information about the whereabouts of Luis R. Torres-Serrano, an ACORN worker, who was accused of submitting more than 100 fraudulent voter registrations.

ACORN, which stands for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, claims to have collected 60,000 new voter registrations in Clark County since February … Lomax said while he supports the goal of getting more people registered to vote, he sees rampant fraud in the 2,000 to 3,000 registrations ACORN turns in every week.
SO WHAT DOES OBAMA HAVE TO DO WITH ACORN?
The answer is … a lot. Stanley Kurtz has written another great piece about Barack Obama’s days as a community organizer for ACORN. It is worth you taking the time to read. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t expect any mainstream media outlets to mention this information, or put two and two together considering all of the stories just listed above.

New Subject – I know the talk of the day will continue to be the stock market – but last night while I was going into the various newspapers of many states – I noticed T W O letters to the Editors that were from OUR action center but changed over to BO’s name – and were published – I would hate to think the BOTS are using our action center more than we are – I think the philosophy of using smaller newspapers was excellent – better chance of being picked up – but now the opposition has gotten onto that theory as well – please today – in between all the discussions if EVERYONE would just take the time to pick one State and a couple of newspapers – all you have to do is take a letter from the action item – copy it – paste it – go to any link – up comes the form you can use and paste it on there – takes less than a minute and at least we are doing something productive and then come back and brag or chat or whatever.
I am off for the day doing my own action items – I hope and pray that someone out there will read this and help defeat BO – we can not change the economic situation ourselves – other than send emails about Acorn which I have done and will do again today -

Why is no one reporting on Philip Berg’s lawsuit against Obama and the DNC in Federal Court in Philadelphia? Obama and DNC filed a motion to dismiss and Philip Berg’s response to this is fascinating – read it here and here:

The entire lawsuit is about Obama’s multiple citizenships with Kenya and Indonesia proving he is ineligible to be POTUS. There are many exhibits that Berg provided as proof.
Obama’s own fight the smears website now has a statement admitting that yes he was a dual citizen with Kenya at birth!!!
It is unbelievable to me that the MSM is compliant and will not cover this. How can we let a non-US citizen or a citizen of two other countries (in addition to the US) be our commander in chief? Particularly when the constitution states that this cannot happen?

Until someone can prove otherwise, Obama was born in Hawaii (Hawaii was make our 50th state 2 yrs before he was born).
I realize that Berg is trying to prove that he was born in Kenya but thus far it hasn’t happened. IF Berg can be proven correct, then it may be an issue.
Right now though, it’s a waste of our time and energy to speculate.

I would hope that these drive by voting places in Ohio at least take social security numbers so after the fact they can trace down these people. If they are real voters fine but the fakes need to be caught and any organized plan to turn our election into a third world farce needs to be exposed. You know it is getting to the point where us normal middle aged average folks might have to think about riots to bring back real American values.

OK I got a bug up my booty and decided to research the Kenyan angle..I got very excited until I got to the Kenyan constitution .
It states
A person who, upon the attainment of the age of twenty-one years, is a citizen of Kenya and also a citizen of some country other than Kenya shall, subject to subsection (7), cease to be a citizen of Kenya upon the specified date unless he has renounced his citizenship of that other country, taken the oath of allegiance and, in the case of a person who was born outside Kenya. made and registered such declaration of his intentions concerning residence as may be prescribed by or under an Act of Parliament.
Basically that it is true that Obama lost his citizenship of Kenya at 21 and is not considered naturalized. And a “natural born citizen” under the constitution can be born outside of the US as long as they have a parent who is a US citizen who lived in the US for more than 7 years.
Now I know Obama used an Indonesian passport..and I do know that implies dual citizenship with Indonesia, but it would take some more research for me to find out when he had it and what the indonesian rules for maintaining citizenship are.

Last night I commented on PA papers, I go all over the web spreading the word.
A good way to get comments in the papers is to go to the Sports section, Style section, etc. because they are less likely to be moderated. I read that the other day.

Obama has a document that shows that he was born in Hawaii. IF it’s a fraud then it might be a game changer. But at this point it isn’t. I agree that we do need to keep an eye on the lawsuit to see what happens.

Even if BO lost his Kenyan citizenship, it would have been because his adopted father was Indonesian and Indonesia does not allow dual citizenship (therefore the US does not accept Indonesian citizenship). bama presumably travelled to Pakistan on an Indonesian passport when he was 21/22; so he could not have been a U.S. citizen. 124 Seattlegirl I have a suggestion for a way to stop Obama~~and for a prowl.
In every state where there is a suspicion of voter fraud, and an ongoing investigation, we should prowl those states’ election authorities to demand that elections be postponed until the resolution of the investigations.
It more or less postponed the outcome in 2000 in Florida when it went to the Supreme Court to decide.
But if any state suspended it’s election it would affect the entire country, and if the investigation spread to ACORN and cronies it might have a real crippling effect on Obama and his plans to take over America.
Any other ideas on this?

I live in Florida and I have friends and family in north and central Florida. There are hardly any yard signs anywhere. Nobody really cares about this election. The only people who are excited about it is the MSM and political junkies. The opinion polls might say what they want but there will not be a big Democratic turn out like they think. Republicans are very reliable to turn out during election time and democrats are not. That is why McCain does not seem to be worried.
Pumas…we need to start putting McCain signs on yards. I contacted the McCain office in my area and was able to get signs. I went on my neighbor hood and talked to people and they said YES…please put them out…Then of course I live in a republican area…TEXAS…North of Dallas.. Maybe we can put up pics of the neighbor hoods with McCain signs on the website…just to give us more encouragement..
