Also wanted to let everyone know that I read that the cbc execs are meeting this week to determine what to do about Mallick, they’re bombarded with mail from angry women and men over the article. We need to leave comments on that article as soon as possible. Plus the prowl. One at a time we’ll nail the sexism if we all work together.

RE: HOW MUCH OBAMA PAYS HIS FEMALE AND MALE STAFFERS

Obama pays his female Senate staffers, on average, only 78 percent of what he pays male staffers.

Women on McCain’s staff, meanwhile, earn 24 percent more on average than women on Obama’s Senate staff. McCain also pays his female Senate staff members a higher average salary than his male Senate staff members.

Women occupy seven of the top 10 highest-paid positions on McCain’s staff, and five of the top 10 highest-paid positions on Obama’s staff.

The numbers come from the most recent Report of the Secretary of the Senate, which includes the salaries of every member of each U.S. senator’s staff during the period of Oct. 1, 2007 through March 31, 2008.

This is the second consecutive six-month period reviewed by CNSNews.com in which McCain, an Arizona Republican, has paid women on his Senate staff a higher average salary than he pays men and Obama has paid men a higher average salary than he pays women.

The pay gap between men and women in McCain’s office closed in the most recent six-month period compared to the previous period, but the pay gap widened slightly in Obama’s office. The CNSNews.com analysis included all staff members for each Senator—except those listed as “interns”—that were included in the Report of the Secretary of the Senate.

Gender issues have played a role in the presidential race recently as McCain picked Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate, the first woman to be nominated for vice president by the Republican Party.

In the period from October 1 through March 31, Obama paid women on his Senate staff an average annual salary of $44,953.21, which was $12,472 less than the $57,425.00 average annual salary he paid men. Women outnumbered men on the staff 30 to 27.

McCain paid women on his Senate staff an average annual salary of $55,777.39, which was marginally higher than the average annual salary of $55,165.29 that he paid men.

In percentage terms, McCain paid female staffers 101 percent of what he paid men. Women outnumbered men on McCain’s staff, 26 to 16.

Thirteen of the 20 highest paid members of McCain’s Senate staff were women during the sixth-month reporting period. Eight of the 20 highest paid members of Obama’s Senate staff were women.

RE: My post #14

The startling fact about the report is that not only does BO pay men more than women, but that during the past 6 months the gap has widened, meaning that instead of moving toward equal pay, he’s moving away, to the detriment of women.

And even weirder… the report seems to be saying that McCain pays women more than men! (right?)….

And I thought BO was the candidate of “women’s rights” and a new kind of politics!

FL: Palin draws crowd of 60,000

Eye- witness account:

The crowd chanted “Sa-Rah! Sa-Rah!” at every mention of her name. The enthusiastic crowd applauded loudly and waved tiny American flags. The fire chief estimated the crowd at 60,000.

It was HOT! People wee patient as one parking lot filled up after another. Shuttle buses transported the crowds from lots to stand. I saw 4 people that were attended to and transported by Emergency vehicles while waiting for transport for shuttle. Yet people of all ages, quietly talking politics, continued to wait. Once transported these “Country 1st” folk encountered another HUGE security line to enter Sumter Landing. Free water was distributed. Masses watched Sarah on giant TV screens. It was an AWESOME experience!!!

#51 LandiPUMA on 09.22.08 at 12:45 am

We’ve been discussing persuasive “talking points” to get others to turn down BO.

Two good one that might help convince the HRC voters that moved toward BO (or are undecided):

1) BO pays his women staffers less than men
2) BO snubbed Hillary for VP pick (didn’t even vet/consider her)

….If we could just convey the deeper implications of these facts… what they say about how he feels about women!

#52 Libby on 09.22.08 at 12:47 am

Since Obama has been running his ad about McCain not wanting to pay women for equal work, it is time to expose him in the strongest way possible.

Using the links above which show that Obama pays women on his staff less than men on his staff, while McCain is the real equal pay Presidential nominee, ….

Everyone should send those links to each newspaper and local television network in their area, as well as to the national news. If enough of us send it, they will have to pay attention and not pretend that they don’t know about it.

So far Obama has gotten away with a whole lot of stuff because the media will not call him on anything. We need to stick it in their faces in such a way that they can not pretend that they don’t see it. They need to know that at least 100 people know about it all ready and they will look stupid if they do not address it on air or in their newspapers. If they do not respond in a few days, then people need to widen their area and report it again.

As Greta’s husband said, “Obama is not who he says he is”.

We need to get to every media outlet, the fact that only a few media are being even handed, and that they need to get the information out for voters so they can make an educated opinion.

By November 5 we will have lost our chances to make any difference. That is a little over a month away.

If we don’t make a difference now, and email does make it so easy, then we will lose our voice and Obama will be playing that stupid song about having troubles but the “bitch” ain’t one.

#53 murphy on 09.22.08 at 12:47 am

“As a candidate for the nomination, I supported the DNC’s efforts to establish and enforce a schedule for primaries and caucuses that would broaden the opportunity for Democrats from all regions of the country and all backgrounds and walks of life to have a meaningful voice. An unprecedented number of voters participated in our Democratic nominating process. I’m not sure it even matters any more. I had planned to vote for McCain as a protest vote. Equal pay is a big issue. Obama is using it to try to portray McCain as anti-women, when in fact it is Obama who is anti-woman.

Issues need to be addressed head on.

Why are the media spending all of their time talking about Palin’s husband and Troopergate, which is NOTHING. The dude married four women, is abusive to women and kids, drinks beer while on duty in his squad car and still has his job. The guy who supposedly was fired for not firing the trooper, was insubordinate and would not comply with work requests that had nothing to do with the trooper. NOTHING. But you would never know that by the media because they are choosing to take the opinion of a handful of people and turn it into something to disrupt the elections over a local party problem.

Equal pay for women is a national issue and Obama says one thing, does another, and then attacks McCain on the issue. McCain practices equal pay for women, while Obama does not.

I can’t think of a better point to attack Obama on right now while he is running those ads.

Alice1943 and gd4Hill4EVA:

Yes Obama is a Christian–I have been to his church, way before the MSM discovered it:

http://camelsnose.wordpress.com/2007/02/18/is-barack-obamas-trinity-church-racist/

It is a mainstream protestant church, nothing cultish about it, although the black liberation theology is a bit strange in my book–have always meant to delve into it deeper.

In the Arab world, one takes one’s religion from the father (as I have heard orthodox Jews take their religion from their mother.) Changing religion is not done frequently as it can inspire homicidal thoughts amongst the relatives. Technically, some would consider a person who left the Moslem religion to be “kafir” and therefore okay to kill them, so it would be a huge mistake for BO to claim ever ever ever to have been Moslem. And in our culture people can and do choose rather than inherit their own religion. In my church we confirm people at about age 16, the age when we think someone is old enough to make a decision about choosing a church. BO is American.

If BO chose the only megachurch on the south side with ten thousand parishioners as a political stepping stone (which no one can say he did as no one can read minds), well, he wouldn’t be the first one to join a particular church to gain a business advantage.

If BO was exposed to other faiths as a child and learned the Islamic prayers, so much the better, although it bothers me that he doesn’t admit to it. You have to read the (very mainstream) Chicago Tribune to pick up on the early religious training presumably from his step father. Although the possibility of being considered Kafir is nothing to be sneezed at and to be avoided at all costs.

New allegation against Nobama. This site sums up the story; it’s explained in more detail on other sites. In a nutshell, ‘grassroots’ smears are orchestrated and (possibly) paid for by Axelrod and Obama campaign.

“In a monumental post, Rusty Shackleford traces one of the sources of the smears against Sarah Palin and finds some not-too-surprising connections: The Jawa Report: Hope, Change, & Lies: Orchestrated ‘Grassroots’ Smear Campaigns & the People that Run Them.

That church is not based on christian principles, it is based on black theology. Christian theology accepts all nationalitys, races and sexes. People are prejudiced, not God.
In Heaven there are no denominations…….only sinners saved by His grace, which acts as love to all people of every tongue and tribe and nation.

94 Nijma That’s cute. Really cute. But I hope you don’t expect me to believe that. Everything you have said is exactly what I would expect a Obot to say. Exactly!!

#95 Alice1943 on 09.22.08 at 2:05 am

I MIGHT believe it if I hear Obama confess with his own mouth that Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior and Redeemer. To date, I have only watched him tapdance.

#96 tennaseepuma on 09.22.08 at 2:06 am

I agree Alice…..

#97 tennaseepuma on 09.22.08 at 2:11 am

You know why obama flipflops so much because he has no peace in his heart,he wars against himself every time he aligns with the black part of him, which is actually the smallest part of him. His mother was White, his father was only one third African and he was two thirds Arabic.

#98 tennaseepuma on 09.22.08 at 2:18 am

This is interesting
Like many Americans with deep roots in this country, Obama has ancestors who were slave owners. But unlike many African Americans, he is not known to have any who were slaves.

Obama definitely has presidential timber in his family tree: He’s distantly related to three U.S. presidents — Harry S Truman, George W. Bush and George Herbert Walker Bush — as well as to Vice President Dick Cheney.

He is related To president George Bush………..Wow

Alice:
You can’t say that “Muslims are dedicated to the destruction of christianity” any more than you can say that Christians are dedicated to burning witches. Most of them really don’t care. They use their religion to try to live better lives and be better people just like we do. I know, I’ve lived with them. There are a lot, though that lost their homes in the war and can’t go back, and there’s a lot of anger there. That’s why I blog so much about needing Palestinian independence. Unfortunately it hasn’t happened and with the new Israeli government, who knows what will happen next. The Arab world has already started making Hamas more respectable (King Abdullah is reaching out to them–and after they failed so may times in their assassination attempts against his father) as the ending of the Intifada has failed to pay off in concrete political terms.

Ah, the Palestinians. I keep hoping W and Condi can still pull a rabbit out of the hat before Jan. 20, or even better, before Nov 4.

Isn’t it strange how McCain and Nobama appeared together at the 9/11 memorial event, but Hillary and Sarah were not allowed to appear together!!!! It would give too much credence and exposure for Palin, so the obamites made Hillary pull out, knowing that they could threaten the 3 organizations with their tax exempt status. So, we all know that Joey boy would not appear with her either. This is another manipulation to prevent freedom of speech. I am just sorry that the organizations didn’t call the obamites bluff and still have Palin speak. The PR for the obamites would not have been too good, once again because it was not a problem for nobama and McCain to appear together. So, why the fuss about Hillary and Sarah?!HMMMMM!!

Well, maybe then I’m a secret obot in disguise. I hear that once you’re an obot, you’re an obot for life. :~P

Or maybe it’s just true, what I’m telling you. I used to get in trouble on progressive websites because I refused to accept unfair distortions about Hillary. Why should I accept unfair distortions of BO? After all, he IS a Democrat and a decent junior senator.

And no, you’re not a Muslim for life. It has happened that Muslims changed religions, but usually in order to get married to someone from another faith. And there are even more who grew up Muslim but don’t go to the Friday thing or observe religion at all. They just go along with whatever the devout ones are doing, like those magnificent feasts to break the Ramadan fast. Some of the Ramadan food is outstanding.

I’m not going to turn into a Hillarybot. That’s not what she’s about. I worked for her, fine, and I demonstrated in DC and in Denver, but when you engage in those kinds of accusations, you just turn people off.

Aren’t there enough REAL issues to bring up–like how all of us are going to fare in the workplace if The One extends his own “unequal pay for equal work” employment practices to rest of America?

#141 clintondemocrat on 09.22.08 at 4:12 am

Do you think 18 is too young to vote but not too young to go to war? Rush thinks that too :)

Rush says that 18 year olds in combat just are trained to follow orders without question and it requires no pre-mediated evaluation of the potential outcomes of consequences as related to one’s given choice but voting requires such cerebral ability and therefore an 18 year old can go to war but should not be able to vote.

Rush also thinks that we should severely limit the people who have access to the privilege of voting in this country.

I have to ponder, if Rush’s opinions were implemented, would there even be a left-side to politics or we would be in a society such as that which was revealed in V is for Vendetta in 2006? So, is Rush Limbaugh a valid argument in discussing Obama or the Democratic Party or its platform? I think not, but perhaps those on here with certain perceived superiorities can espouse to a higher philosophy and have a more accepted debate than mere partisans who stand in opposition to the 2008 primary but object to the degradation of their party by people who oppose Obama while spouting non-truths regarding his religion.

Rush Limbaugh for president!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I don’t think so)

Barack Obama and Nicholas Kristof on Islam

Rewriting Obama’s religious history by attacking the truth

OBAMA AUTHOR ANDY MARTIN ATTACKED FOR PUBLISHING THE TRUTH ABOUT BARACK OBAMA

NEW YORK TIMES COLUMNIST NICHOLAS KRISTOF TRIES TO REWRITE BARACK OBAMA’S RELIGIOUS HISTORY

KRISTOF’S AGITPROP SEEKS TO ATTACK AMERICANS FOR ASKING LEGITIMATE QUESTIONS ABOUT OBAMA’S RELIGION THAT THE CANDIDATE HAS DESPERATELY TRIED TO CONCEAL

(NEW YORK)(September 22, 2008) Four years ago I wrote the first worldwide column exposing Barack Obama as a liar and exposing his family’s Muslim heritage. My initial column is still one of the most Googled references on the Internet. My columns eventually culminated in a bestselling book: Obama: the Man Behind the Mask (http://OrangeStatePress.com). Although I was the first to use the “mask” analogy in my original Psychological Profile of Barack Obama, that trope has been widely adopted. Competing authors have also copied the “mask” phraseology.

Yesterday, New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof called me “sleazy” and “disgusting.” I have news for Mr. Kristof: it is his writing that his sleazy and disgusting. His agitprop on behalf of Obama is a disgrace to journalism. At the risk of popularizing someone with whom I have had my differences, Sean Hannity of Fox News has said 2008 is the year when “journalism died in America.” Here’s another example, Sean.

Truth, facts and integrity have certainly died at the New York Times.

Mr. Kristof also accused me of being a closet racist who is using Obama’s religion as a “proxy for racial prejudice.” On the contrary, all I have ever done is, to use Congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro’s classic put down, hold Barack Obama to the same standard as a white man. To accuse me of being “profoundly un-American” because I have consistently published the truth about Obama is disgraceful behavior and an example of how far the extreme left will go to demonize my research. My original columns, of course, were the basis for other bestselling books as well as my own.

First, a comment about Mr. Obama’s Christianity. Here I may owe my readers a small apology. I was prepared to give Barack Obama the benefit of the doubt that he was a “Christian” based on his attendance at Trinity United Church of Christ (“UCC”); that may have been a mistake on my part. I gave Obama the benefit of the doubt before the disks in the Trinity UCC gift shop became a worldwide scandal and we heard the racist ranting of Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

Frankly, I was shocked that at a church where a large portion of Chicago’s African-American aristocracy worshiped, such vicious anti-white and anti-American propaganda would masquerade as “Christianity.” Of course, today Trinity takes a “Who me?” attitude to this egregious history of racism and subversion. Apparently no one who is anyone in Chicago ever heard Reverend Wright preach except Oprah Winfrey, and she left.

Although Barack Obama calls himself a Christian, we do not know when he officially became one, and when he ended his flirtation with the Nation of Islam (another scoop which I released earlier this year). In my own Episcopal Church where I worship today, we keep detailed baptismal records.

Some years ago I lost my wallet and I had to reestablish my identity. I went back to the church where I was baptized, St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church in New Britain, Connecticut. St George’s still had my baptismal file in the church records. They gave me a copy. (I later joined my father’s church, the Anglican [Episcopal] denomination).

I have no idea what the UCC maintains in the way of baptismal records, if any, but this I do know. We have never seen a baptismal certificate for Barack Obama and we do not have an actual date when he was baptized. Maybe Mr. Kristof can provide one. We have not seen a valid Obama birth certificate either. Maybe Kristof can provide that as well. Obama asks us to take his Christianity “on faith.” I have no faith in Obama’s integrity or truthfulness.

Barack Obama has the same rights as I do in this country. He is free to believe what he wants, and to worship where he wants, and no one can tell him otherwise. But the history of where he was baptized, and when, and what his parents and grandparents’ religion was, are objective facts. (If you read my book you will find that Obama lies repeatedly and relentlessly about his family history, so the obfuscation over his Islamic heritage is part and parcel of his confused character and relentless concealment.)

The American people often trace family lineage back hundreds of years, which is why we have been told that Obama and Vice President Cheney are “cousins.” Can we at least trace back Obama’s religious traditions only two generations without being accused of bigotry? Don’t we have a right to do so without being demonized by the New York Times?

Now to the Muslim issue.

Obama’s family history in the Muslim faith may be a large issue, as some believe, or it may be a very small issue, as others believe, or it may be a non-issue as liberals believe. But it is a legitimate topic of discussion and a bona fide area of scholarly research. The fact is, Obama has brutally attacked anyone who told the truth about his Muslim heritage, and relentlessly lied about his Islamic family.

I believe Obama has yet to face his own confused state of mind about his religious origins. Moreover, I believe that Americans are entitled to the truth, the full truth and nothing but the truth from Senator Obama; to date they have not received those disclosures. Issue? Non-issue? Each of us can draw our own conclusions once we have the undisputed facts. That is the way our society usually functions. Or as Dragnet’s Sergeant Joe Friday would say, “Just the facts, ma’am.”

Obama’s mother married two, not one, Muslim men.

There does not appear to have been a mosque in Hawaii at the time when Obama’s father lived there, so we do not know what he would have done had there been a Muslim facility.

We do know that Obama’s stepfather occasionally took Obama and his sister to a mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia. We also know that Obama was registered as a Muslim at one of the schools he attended in Jakarta. There is no evidence-nor has Obama ever cited any-that his “atheistic” mother objected to his being classified as a Muslim while Barry (Barack) was living in Indonesia.

As I have stated before, there is nothing suspicious or unusual about parents choosing a religion for their children. Almost all parents choose the initial religion of their children, or no religion. My parents initially chose to have me baptized in the Greek Orthodox Church, which I attended and where I was a very devoted altar boy. Later as an adult I transferred my membership to the Episcopal Church of my father and grandfather. There is nothing secret about any of this, and I have nothing to hide. (One of my grandmothers was Roman Catholic.)

Some religions transfer their heritage through the mother. In Judaism, for example, the Jewish religious tradition is handed down through the mother. In the Muslim religion, however, which often tracks Judaism and Christianity, but not in this case, the father hands down the family’s religion.

Thus, at birth, by virtue of Obama’s Muslim father, Barack Obama, Junior received the same Islamic faith as his Kenyan father. The Kenyan wing of Obama’s family is almost all Muslim. Even the woman Obama falsely calls his “granny” was quoted as stating she is a devoted Muslim. If everyone in your family is a Muslim, it is a fair conclusion that you began life as a Muslim. What is Mr. Kristof’s problem with the foregoing facts?

Is there widespread confusion about Obama’s religion? Indeed there is. Why is that? First, the fact Obama’s father was a Muslim raises the obvious point that as a result of the tenets of some Muslims his son also began life as a Muslim.

Some months ago there was a dispute in the New York Times when another writer made my points, and the Times promptly produced Muslim scholars to oppose the patrilineal passage of Islam from a father to his children. There was also a dispute about whether the Islamic faith has a “Once a Muslim, always Muslim” doctrine. Indeed, Islam is no more monolithic a religion than Christianity. Sects, denominations and even nations disagree about the “true” nature of Islam. But the fact that Christians disagree does not convert their disagreements into a negation of Christianity. Likewise, the fact that some Muslims disagree with the “Once a Muslim, Always a Muslim” doctrine does not mean that hundreds of millions of Muslims do not follow that belief. They do. It’s a fact. People have recently been threatened with death for announcing a desire to leave the Muslim religion.

The first time Obama left home, when he attended college at Occidental College in Los Angeles, he gravitated to a circle of Muslim friends. While this Muslim circle is nothing sinister, it is another small piece of circumstantial evidence concerning Obama’s religious state of mind. Boy leaves home and heads straight for the Muslim community on campus. Well.

And how about this? I take a contrarian point of view on the Middle East where my columns have defended Islam and challenged American policy. As a result, I have many readers throughout the Islamic world. When I began to criticize Obama, some of my followers wrote me and said “Shhh. He’s one of us.” Thus, many Muslims believe Obama is a Muslim. That’ a fact.

Obama could have avoided all of this confusion if he had simply told the truth years ago. For some reason Barack fears the truth. No one had had to “Otherize” him as Kristof suggests. Obama “Otherizes” himself. For the reasons stated in my Psychological Profile, Obama does not like to tell the truth. He has lived the better part of his life in a fantasy world, and it is into that fantasyland that he retreats when he must deal with confusion and confrontation. In “Obamaland,” “Barry Obama” was never a Muslim.

Kristof says that people are interested in Obama’s religious history because we are using religion as a “proxy” for racism. That is a despicable suggestion. I don’t know about Kristof but I have a publicly documented lifetime of work on behalf of civil rights, and a worldwide reputation for standing by Islam and condemning religious demonization. The only bigot in the room is Kristof, because he seeks to use bigotry and a subterfuge for Obama’s psychological confusion and evasion.

Kristof’s final slander is to claim some false sense of honor because he contributed to the confusion over Obama’s religious history. Kristof previously wrote about Obama’s singing the Islamic call to prayer in Arabic. On Sunday, September 21st, Kristof tried to impeach himself. He claimed that Obama could remember this prayer because “the call to prayer blasts from mosque loudspeakers five times a day.” I have lived in Muslim lands, and I would hasten to say that very little that originates with the muezzin can be heard at a distance. Obama must have lived very close to a mosque if he was able to decipher the call to prayer so clearly and after the passage of forty (40) years as Kristof now suggests.

Kristof closes his smears by accusing scholars/writers such as myself of “calculating to undermine the political process” and “magnifying the ugliest prejudices.” On the contrary, it is Obama, who has repeatedly and relentlessly lied about his religious history, and fellow travelers such as Kristof, who are doing so much to undermine our democratic institutions by seeking to substitute a big lie for the truth in this election campaign.

I stand by my facts. And I stand by the truth. It would be nice if Kristof and Obama would do likewise.

#53 Murphy:

Obama is a Christian. Why? Because he went to Trinity Church for 20 years? I think he is a Christian. But it’s not the kind most people know. Trinity Church taught black liberation theology by James Cone, which is a marxist and racist philosophy. It says that any God that loves white people should be killed and they are not their God.

Black liberation theology is mainly political, and not religious, or connected to Christianity.

Black liberation theology is in Father Pfleger’s catholic St, Sabina Church, in Reverend Meeks’ Church, in Nation of Islam Louis Farrakhan’s mosque.

The theology of black liberation theology is also a mainstay of the New Black Panther Party.

So, when someone says Obama is a Christian, I ask.. What Kind of Christian?

I am tired of people thinking that speaking of Obama’s Muslim background is slander.

We have become too Americanized in the sense that we think, Ohhh, everyone can choose their religion.

No, babies born of Muslims are sacredly Muslim to true believers. I have known Muslims and it’s their belief.

Obama’s mother was a secular humanist/ agnostic who was far leftist and married two Muslims. Obama called her an Islamaphile in his book. (Which means that she was more open to the Islamic faith, obviously.) Obama’s Kenyan blood father, Barack Hussein Obama, was Muslim. Obama’s Indonesian step-father Lolo Soetoro was Muslim. Obama’s Indonesian half-sister is Muslim. Obama’s half Indonesian step-brother is Muslim. Obama’s half brothers and sisters in Kenya are Muslim. Obama’s grandparents and cousins in Kenya are Muslim. Obama’s lived in one, if not the, most Muslim nation in thw world: Indonesia, and he was registered in school as a Muslim. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqIT35lUMvU

Later on, Obama went to the Million Man March orchestrated by NOI Louis Farrakhan and Father Pfleger of Islamic faith and black liberation theology. Pastor Wright’s degree is in Islamic theology. Obviously Pastor Wright had an anti-Israel/ anti-American belief (as is the word in black liberation theology) and he cares about Palestine, and controversial HAMAS (terrorist organization for Iran) articles were published in the “Pastor’s Page”–the church bulletin. HAMAS went on to endorse Obama publicly. These are suicide bombers who blow up Israelis and Americans along the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, Obama raised monies in large part for groups like Rashid and Mona Khalidi’s (accused of being in PLO–Palestinian Liberation Organization–USA noted terrorist organization)—the Arab American Action Network, when he worked with American terrorist–bomber, Ayers, on the Woods Fund, and not only that, but several controversial Islamic groups, ones who have even been prosecuted by our government, like Kindhearts (terrorism).

It’s a long and winding list of Obama’s connections with Islamic groups. Many of them may have been simply because of political gain.

I am not saying Obama is a Muslim. I think it’s a LIE to say that he is not an Islamic sympathizer. Not only does his record prove it, but it is natural due to his upbringing and blood.

Good Morning.

What a week and weekend.

Do not be afraid of the financial mess. Everything will work out fine. NOW is an opportunity to buy houses and probably stocks to make a big profit in the future if you have the money to do so. The present conditions will cause huge inflation. Eventually house prices will reflect that inflation and have huge prices.

Right now people are forced out of homes at say $200,000 and later those houses will be a million dollars as people then try to buy them back. It is a crime and the reason the rich keep getting richer and the poor poorer.

I sreongly oppose Obama. He still has not given one single solution to a problem. He is incredibly negative as he ALWAYS blames America for all problems but NEVER offers a solution. I believe this negativism is ingrained into his psyche. I believe his society blames the Government for everything just like Rev Wright. We see the playing out of Rev Wright in Barack Obama. A very dangerous situation.

John McCain and Sarah Palin have it right. Our economy is in desperate need of going in a new direction. With a total national debt of some nine trillion dollars, all America understands we need to go in a new and different direction, and we need to start yesterday. John McCain understands that and agrees. I ask readers to start digging into the following source material. There is a lot to go through here; but it is necessary. Work with me please. (1)(If You Like The Michigan Economy, You will Love Obamas), Phil Gramm and Mike Solon, Wall Street Journal, 9/13/2008 (2)(Obamas Agenda May Not Add Up), Peter Nicholas, July 8, 2008, Los Angeles Times (3)(Shaky Economy Challenges Ambitious Obama Agenda), Bob Davis and T.W. Farnam, Wall Street Journal, 8/26/2008 (4)(Obamas Gloomy Big-Government Vision), Lawrence Kudlow, Real Clear Politics.com, February 15, 2008 (5)(Obama and McCain Have Big Economic Differences), Martin Crutsinger, AP, 9/8/2008 (6)(Obamas Altitude Sickness), Charles Krauthammer, Washington Post, September 12, 2008 For all the above reasons in this source material, and many others, I am voting for the Senator John McCain-Governor Sarah Palin ticket at the top, and then for all Democratic Party candidates for Congress. I feel our Congress in Washington has been doing the absolutely best job they could. The problem has been the incompetent buffoon at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and now with our economy teetering, Mr. Bush still does not get it. It was his self serving policies and programs involving gross deceit all along the way that he forced down our throats that caused all this. And you will see from the above references, Mr. Obama does not get it either. He would only make things worse. John McCain and Sarah Palin do get it, understand our country, know how to work across party lines, and I am convinced they are the best choice at the top of the ticket.

BLT says God is black, Jesus is black and white people are the oppressor. Therefore god and Jesus who are black want the white people dead.

Here we go… America is taking drastic measures to keep our noses above the financial waters, so the UN is screaming that we ( a “rich donor nation”)MUST increase our handouts to other nations by the billions…. Even if we could disregard BO’s religious affiliations; even if we could disregard his personal affiliations with Resko, Ayers, Write and the like; even if we could disregard his inability to think for himself or speak without the aid of a teleprompter; even if we could disregard his thinly veiled disdain for women; even if we could disregard the whole laundry list of misgivings about this candidate, this ONE thing is enough to keep me from voting from him! He is in favor of cutting off funding to our soldiers — to “stop sending $10 billion a month in Iraq so that we can invest in our own economy here at home” then turns around and insists we must support the Global Poverty Act which over 13 years would amount to $845 billion “over and above what the U.S. already spends.”

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080922/ap_on_re_us/un_general_assembly

1 hour, 27 minutes ago

UNITED NATIONS – World leaders meeting at the U.N. General Assembly this week face a global financial crisis that threatens the United Nation’s efforts to generate billions of dollars to fight poverty, especially in Africa. “This week, with the help of all world leaders, I would like to really mobilize necessary resources and galvanize political will to as high as possible as I can,” he said.

The leaders are arriving in New York as the U.S. Congress starts debate on a $700 billion proposal to buy a mountain of bad mortgage debt in an effort to revive U.S. credit markets, and whether they are prepared to make fresh commitments to help the poor remains to be seen….But Ban said in a recent report that rich donor nations have failed to deliver on their promises and must increase aid by $18 billion a year. Of that, $7.3 billion would have to go to Africa.

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=56405

Obama bill: $845 billion
more for global poverty
Democrat sponsors act OK’d by Senate panel
that would cost 0.7% of gross national product

#154: GoHillaryGo:

Yes, that is exactly what black liberation theology means.

I am personally very sick of white people thinking this is no big deal, to have a president who was indoctrinated by this belief for two decades.

It makes me sick.

There is no difference between a white supremacy church for 20 years, and this BLT church for 20 years.

White people can be so weak–it disgusts me, especially liberals. They refuse to get educated or they are so disengaged that they cannot recognize the seriousness of certain doctrines and I think it’s mainly because a lot of them are simply not culturally aware of other racial / ethnic movements, and if they are, a lot of them don’t take it seriously.

I mean what do they think the Days of Rage was about in the 60’s? It was highly racially motivated.

ANYway, if you want to learn more about black liberation theology, sit and take the damn time, to watch these three consecutive videos. Do it, people:

http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/05/29/the-christian-heresy-of-barack-and-michelle-obama/

Dr. Cone has explained his theology as follows:[2][3][4][5]

“Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community… . Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.”

It’s only fool white people who do not take anti-white black movements seriously who are clueless, and I think it’s a part of their false cultural position in society. They deem black racists as a non-threat…they think they are untouchable and it’s foolhardy.

The below from “TruthOnly” or Common Sense 12…

Maybe Mr. Obama would want to cover some of the charges in this fine book, that is already at Number Four(4)on the New York Times bestseller list, hardcover, non-fiction. The book is titled: (The Case Against Barack Obama) by David Freddoso. This book is in hardcover for only $15.37 plus shipping from amazon.com. The book has 290 pages, and covers everything you have heard about, and much more, and all with excellent sources and references. In fact it is so good, the Obama Camp people are coming after it and the author with full force rhetoric. See article in http://www.spectator.org, (The American Spectator) written by Matthew Vadum, dated 9/18/2008, his article titled (Obama Camp Slimes David Freddoso). This article is also linked and running on http://www.RealClearPolitics.com. For example, in centerfold (in the book) – black and white glossy photos – you will see a picture of the Obama house for which he paid $1.65 million, some $300,000 below the list price; and the book covers much of his close relationship with Antoin (Tony) Rezko, who was convicted in June 2008 on sixteen counts of fraud and money-laundering. It has been charged that Mr. Rezko was involved somehow with the purchase of that house and property. Continuing, across from page 163, under a glossy plate of Michelle Obama, we have the following in quotes: Quote: (Michelle Obamas employer, University of Chicago Hospitals, raised her pay from $121,910 in 2004 to $316,962, two months after her husband became a U.S. Senator. Barack Obama would later request a $1 million federal earmark for her hospital). End of Quote. Note: I guess Barack Obama is opposed to Earmarks in general unless of course they benefit himself or his family. This is an explosive book. Urge everyone get their copy, and pass the word.

#160 murphy on 09.22.08 at 7:13 am

Kat in Your Hat. point taken. Perhaps he does sympathize with Islamic peoples and/or issues. I dont think that is treason nor should it preclude someone from eligibility from the presidency.

On the on the other hand, I dont give a damn what Muslims take sacred in terms of identifying one of “their own.” I believe in free will and the right to free agency. If Barack Obama says he’s a Christian, that he’s not a Muslim, and he practices for 20+ years in a Protestant church, well then he’s a Christian.

Look, the guy has less than 150 days’ experience in national office. He’s a panderer of the highest degree. He stands for nothing and no one but himself. He has no record of accomplishments or achievements. He is weak on understanding policy. He’s never run even a medium-sized organization. He pays women less than men. He oversaw and approved the sleaziest, cheatingest primary in living memory. He flip flops on policies that are of grave importance. He is condescending, flip, and rude. He’s never had a full-time job. He also lies and/or obfuscates about his background.

I prefer to focus on the first 10 or 20 major problems with him as a candidate. The murky background is there, no doubt. But that is mere speculation until someone comes up with some evidence. This is not a smear site.

Besides, the first 10 or 20 problems are MORE THAN ENOUGH reason to work against his election.

Nimja is NO obot. That is irresponsible. She merely defended the American right to free agency (you can be whatever the hell religion you want to be in this wonderful country or, even better, no religion at all). She also reminded us that unfounded rumors and innuendo were used to trash and humiliate Hillary and that it would be hypocritical for us to do the same to any other candidate — even one many of us loathe.

Howling Pumas away with reckless accusations of Obot! simply because they are defending principles of debate (Nimja never defended Obama as a candidate or even as a person, she was simply sticking up for the right of people to choose their religion and explaining from first-hand experience her understanding of TUCC), is EXACTLY what turned the Blogger BOIZ into giant echo chambers of boring, boring, ugliness and gutter talk. It also made them stupid and lazy.

We’re not like that.

Attack Obama on the issues, the documented history, and the facts — not on rumor, innuendo, and subjective opinion.

#160:

Yes, the recent AP study and on democrats not voting for Obama, and a lot of other commentators are bringing up race and the Bradley Effect as to why Obama might lose.

All of this is to “reactivate” (like in the dem primary) a stronger showing of voters who will feel socially forced to fight harder against a perceived prejudice.

It is just for more votes.

As we know, there have been landslide losses for democrats in the past, instances when our whole country turned red republican, which obviously proves that whites and democrats will vote republican against their party if the nominee is wrong:

1984: Reagan beats Mondale in landslide: Were democrats racist?

1980: Reagan beats Carter in landslide: Were democrats racist?

Also, who can forget…

#162 kat in your hat it was AP that did this huh, maybe if you don’t mind I will take what you have and sent them a little email and try to educate them. I am just so sick of the race card being played god forbid it could be that he is totally unqualified to be president.

#163 murphy on 09.22.08 at 7:24 am

Kat in Your Hat, I like what you are saying. I think that is a provocative but compelling argument.

I tend to think that if you are right — and I think you are — then the reason some parts of white society turn a blind eye or pretend BLT is not a threat is because of white privilege. From the safe distance of the PBS screening room (I’m talking to you Bill Moyers) or the Ivy League classroom (I’m talking to you Whole Foods Nation), or the safe urban suburbs (I’m talking to you Limousine Liberals), black rage and hatred of white people can be treated as a “topic of conversation and debate” or a “philosophically and theoretically appropriate response to hegemony” rather than a scary fucking way to have to walk to the subway, or a surefire way to destroy the quality of public school education.

So, if you’re a member of Whole Foods Nation, BLT is dialectically kosher and a FUN TOPIC TO DISCUSS ON LATE NIGHT BLOGS!

But if you’re a working class white person in Gary, Indiana it colors most every aspect of your day-to-day life with intimidation, discouragement, and fear.

Anyway, I hear you. How do we talk about this honestly, in the way you did??

#164 kat in your hat on 09.22.08 at 7:30 am

@161 Murphy:

Problem is, he could be our president, so it does matter who he sympathizes with. It simply does. Israel is our ally. Obviously Iran is not, and they fund HAMAS and Hezbollah. Problem is not so much religion, it is the clues to such background and those he has hired (Like Samantha “Hillary is a monster” foreign policy advisor who claimed that genocide of Israelis would free Palestine.)

He has a sketchy background.

If we throw that away..all gone, and make him a run of the mill boring white guy from middle America who is a boring Catholic or basic Christian, you are right, he still is extremely inexperienced, but what the MSM will not report, (and this does benefit Obama’s credentials…) is that he was a chairperson on William Ayers’ Chicago Annenberg Foundation, a $160 million dollar education reform project, and Obama had no background in education (obviously, just law), and long story short: it failed. But does the media cover it? No. Because Bill Ayers hates USA ideology and because Bill Clinton afforded the foundation their monies. So it is hush hush. Bill Ayers–the bomber–omg, do not report. But what it shows is that Obama lost millions of dollars and the only thing he ever ran, failed.

What evidence are you speaking of? Obama’s natural Muslim background is well known, and not a secret. He writes of it in his book. Black Liberation Theology? Pastor Wright has tirelessly tried to explain it on numerous TV appearances and it’s all on youtube.

What is a smear?

I can prove everything I say.

Nimja? Dunno what you are talking about.

If you think I am going off of rumor, challenge me, and I’ll show you why I claim as such.

#165 murphy on 09.22.08 at 7:35 am

Again Kat, you persuade me. Your points are right on.

So what’s the impenetrable cloak of protection that Obama wears? Why wont the media look into that? Do you think it’s fear of being called racist?

#166 kat in your hat on 09.22.08 at 7:36 am

We have to be careful what we call a “smear” because I just went to a huge family gathering of 50% MSNBC watchers last night and I overheard someone say that Barack’s middle name was “Hussein” and they called him a liar.

Political correctness, and a belief in a common theme of supposed good has caused people to not know the truth, and it’s wrong.

#167 murphy on 09.22.08 at 7:38 am

Kat you wrote,

“If we throw that away..all gone, and make him a run of the mill boring white guy from middle America who is a boring Catholic or basic Christian, you are right, he still is extremely inexperienced. . .”

Cool news today from Philly

Going for Barack in the Northeast?

By DAVE DAVIES
Philadelphia Daily News

How tough is it for Democrats to sell Barack Obama in Northeast Philadelphia? Here’s one measure: One of their own ward leaders isn’t convinced yet.

Lorraine Bednarek, Democratic leader of the 64th Ward, in Northeast Philadelphia, may not vote for her party’s candidate.

“To be honest, I’m not sure,” Bednarek said in a phone interview when asked if she would vote for Obama. “I’ve always voted Democrat. That’s why this election is very difficult for me.”

Ward leaders have far less influence on presidential elections than they do on local races, but Bednarek’s disaffection may be symptomatic of the challenge the ticket faces in the Northeast.

Bednarek said that she feels resistance to Obama from ward committee members and Democratic voters, and doesn’t think it’s about his race or background.

“I think he’s relatively unknown, and it’s hard for people to identify with him,” Bednarek said. “I guess everyone’s trying to find more about him and the issues. He’s promising a lot of things and he’s not saying who’s going to end up paying for them.”

Bednarek was a Hillary Clinton delegate to the Democratic convention, and Clinton overwhelmingly won her ward in the April primary.

“I supported Hillary because she had specific ideas and plans, and they were all on her Web site,” Bednarek said. “Obama tends to be more abstract.”

Asked if she’d visited Obama’s Web site, Bednarek said, “Not really, not lately.”

Bednarek said that, like her voters, she’ll watch the debates and follow the campaign before making a decision.

Murphy, of course it is, white liberal guilters accept black on white hate and they are not *truly* for equality.

Fear of being called a racist is a big point, and some will go to no ends to try to shed their own psychological issues. White guilt libbers are among the worst racists in my opinion. That’s debateable. There is confusion, and there is a bias happening and some of it is racially motivated.

#171 kat in your hat on 09.22.08 at 7:45 am

#164 Murphy:

Exactly.

It’s becoming a an interesting debate to a solid way of life. Is this ok? In actuality? No, of course not. I am a few beats behind you in postings.

It’s true though, many of these safe liberals say, Aww, who cares if he really thinks that or learned that for 20 plus years (Obama listened to Wright’s sermons by tape during college in NYC before moving to Chicago), but it IS a problem when it is a president and someone who will nominate judges and help to make laws, etc.

There is no white man or woman alive that I would vote for if they had such a racially incendiary background such as Obama’s.

Not in a million years.

#172 justnotright on 09.22.08 at 7:48 am

I am a white person who grew up in an AA community. I was hoping all this time I would see the day when I could vote for a Black candidate for president. Imagine my disappointment when Obama hustled his way to the top.

So many wonderful and qualified Black candidates and they picked a radical, sexist, inexperienced empty suit.

#173 justnotright on 09.22.08 at 7:49 am

Obama is so self-centered, he is even taking Black voters for granted. And many are not too happy about that.

#174 murphy on 09.22.08 at 7:53 am

yep, kat — I agree with you —

white guilt libbers — I like that.

It’s very easy to assuage your “guilt” by decreeing tolerance for racial hatred that will NEVER EVER affect you.

I wonder how many white libbers in Hyde Park send their kids to Chicago public schools.

I know the Obamas sure as hell dont. I know that the children of US Senators probably have to go to private schools for safety reasons, but I would bet a million dollars that Barack and Michelle would never, under any circumstances, send their kids to Chicago public schools.

#175 kat in your hat on 09.22.08 at 7:54 am

Here’s VDH’s comment about the Dem hysteria:

“What we are seeing now, unfortunately for Obama if it doesn’t cease, is a weird sort of puerile panic and hysteria on the part of Democrats. They are losing it with wild and rather vicious talk about Palin’s various supposed misdemeanors, Obama’s campaign itself that is suddenly shrilly whining and screaming about lies and liars, when Obama himself is not gaffing Biden-like with silly lipstick riffs and arrogant dismissals of small town mayorships (and after his Pennsylvania clingers speech no less!) — all while liberal bloggers, the MSM columnists, the talking heads on CNN, MSNBC, etc are losing their sanity seeing Karl Roves everywhere stealing their hope-and-change dreams.

Watching some of this hysterical outpouring of anger is surreal, as grown-ups sound like children whose mothers did not buy them a snack or failed to take them to the zoo as promised.

Unless Obama’s team can get a handle on this self-induced and paranoid madness, they risk turning a small, natural, and probably temporary 2-3 point bump — quite normal in such a tight see-saw race — into a permanent and insurmountable 5-6 point McCain lead, as the quiet swing voters shrug and say to themselves, “Hmmm, liked that Obama, but if he and his supporters panic and go wild and vicious like this, what in the world would they do when elected?”

Hate to be a broken record, but old pro Hil as VP at this fire would have had an extinguisher in hand (Bill manning the hose), not a Biden match and more Axelrod fuel.”

When the liberal MSM turned a blind eye to the Anti-American tirades of Rev. Wright , this new phenomenon of Starbucks journalists embracing a candidate purely based on the color of his skin began to surface.
This antithetical movement, in an effort to absolve themselves of the sins of their ancestors , has summarily rejected any notion that support for a candidate other than Obama may be based on anything other than the most vile form of racism .
When you remove the names and dates , if you take the backgrounds and influences of Mo and BO and place them in a white supramicist scenario as opposed to the BLT and communist movement , the psychological reactions are of repulsion and immediate condemnation .
If you then reveal the true and accurate reverse bias , it gives one pause …
My argument to my friends who are leaders in the AA community is , “How dare you ? How dare you set us back by presenting this inexperienced , corrupt , rhetroically bloated fraud as if he is the BEST representation of the AA community ! And How dare you say that not voting for him is a confirmation of subconscious racist tendencies !”
I am not voting for him because I DO look beyond race . He is not qualified in SPITE of his race not BECAUSE of it !
Ok , I am done ranting now because I can go on and on about this topic .. Sorry :)

I thought Rev. Wright was HUGE , and Bill Ayers , and voting present 130 times , and a forged bc and an Indonesian passport and Rezco were HUGE …. Nothing happened . It sucks that , with all of that damaging info , now we are hoping that someone will make a big deal from a pr firm smearing Palin …

#189 murphy on 09.22.08 at 8:41 am

texas — remember the Swift Boat ads?

Everyone KNEW that Bush/Rove were behind them but no one could PROVE it. The whole 527 thing clouded any concrete connections. So Bush could claim the high road, laughable though we knew it was, and the dirty creeps could do their deadly dirty work.

If the media can show a clear connection between Axelrod and the Smear Messaging, then it becomes a different campaign. The media can directly attack Obama’s just as laughable claim to the high road. It pulls Obama WAY down in the eyes of the media — which is a GOOD thing.

my two cents.

#190 TexasTigress on 09.22.08 at 8:46 am

Murphy , I don’t disagree with you . In PRINCIPLE that should be the case , my premise is that there is a shitload of credible damaging eveidence on the man who apparently can not be discredited by facts that no one has to dig for or make connections to – they are obvious . Connecting him to a 527 that smearde Palin is , to me , less damaging than connecting him to a man who tried to blow up the Pentagon ..
I’m just sayin…

#191 TexasTigress on 09.22.08 at 8:48 am

It’s like nothing sticks to this man that scares me to death and has kept me up at nites (fearing he could be our next president). Things that make me stand up and take notice (like this newest talking about holding off the troop release) people either don’t know or just blow it off.

GOOD MORNING PUMAS!

I got a call this week from – get this – the campaign offices of BO! I almost passed out – She asked if I had already made a decision who I am voting for. Without hesitation I said – “ABSOLUTELY, I AM VOTING 100% WITHOUT A DOUBT FOR MCCAIN/PALIN – AND I’M A DEMOCRAT” All she could say is “thank you very much, hav a nice day” ROFLAMO, I WAS HOPING THEY WOULD CALL……..THEY ARE TOAST HERE IN FLORIDA!

OH BY THE WAY, I saw a couple of Democrats for McCain signs in yards…..Made me proud!

#196 TrishfromCanada on 09.22.08 at 8:59 am

Good Morning Everyone,

If you can spare a few minutes I’d appreciate your help with fighting the sexism displayed in Heather Mallick’s article about Sarah Palin in the CBC website on September 5th 2008.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper – Prime Minister – pm@pm.gc.ca
Hon. Stéphane Dion – Liberal Leader – info@liberal.ca
http://www.cbc.ca/contact/

Here is a sample letter for anyone who may want to do this prowl: It’s regarding the sexist article Heather Mallick wrote on Sept. 5th, 2008. Thank you to everyone who participates. I’ve included the cbc contact address as well. CB will be deciding what actions , if any, to take against Mallick this week.

Dear Prime Minister Harper,
On September 5, 2008, Heather Mallick, a columnist with CBC.ca published an

article regarding Sarah Palin and the American people. Her supervisor
publically approved and supported the article. This article was filled with
slurs, sexism and derogatory comments directed at Alaskan Governor Palin and
the citizens of the United States of America. This type of journalism is
totally unacceptable and repulsive, and it certainly does not speak for all
Canadians, even though the author implies it does.
I am calling on you to ensure Heather offers a sincere public apology to
all Americans. I also expect her boss to offer an apology for supporting
such a vile and disgusting attempt at journalism. Then, I expect her
resignation over this article. As a American I am appalled that Canadian
tax dollars are paying for such trash. The Canadian Government overseas the
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, as it is a crown corporation. The
written opinion of every reporter and columnist of CBC will be viewed as the
Canadian perspective. I assure you that referring to Americans as white
trash, or Gov. Palin as a porn actress is definitely not the opinion that
Canadians hold.

200 slyt2 I honestly think that there is so much antipathy in play that the people who have blindly supported him are literally revolted by any information that may damage their perception of who he is …
In Psychology , you are educated on the difference between Romantic love and Real love . Romantic love is when you are in the throws of a chemical reaction based on the IDEAL of your PERCEPTION of who a person is .
When this wears off , you are left with facing the reality that you may have been getting freaky with someone with whom you do not share the same values etc. Or you may find out that they are , in fact , an inexperienced , socialist who has no business running for POTUS! :)

1. He does give us names and FACTS of incidences that the public should know.

2. He does try to tell you why you should question the news media

That said, I do not “follow” just anyone’s opinion, nor have I ever said Rush should ever be president – Give me a break!

I research “everything” before I post it here or anywhere else. So don’t listen to him – your choice – sometimes I can’t handle him either. But he will give some good facts too. I have not had any caffeine yet……

#206 TexasTigress exactly but it’s not even the ones who blindly follow it’s the ones who are democrats also and could not or would not ever cross over no matter what. My mom and my sisters are perfect examples they do not like Obama but it is unthinkable to them to vote McCain and they are very very upset that I am voting for him. I have tried to tell them about BO but it’s always you can’t afford another 4 years of bush and that is it and your democrat NOT Republican. Because BO’s got the democrat behind his name he is the least of the two evils. I know for a fact my family has not drank the kool-aid and I will fight anyone who says they have it;s just that is how it is done and that’s it you vote your party and hope for the best. Worse case if something really bad happened they just won’t vote(like my mother-in law). My brother is a republican (which my mother hates)but he doesn’t push anything on her they just don’t talk about it.(his been a repub for awhile now ,once he got rich (sorry it’s true).

This is a good article for everyone to read, so you’ll know how NObama operates to smear Palin and McCain and not be held directly responsible. He takes the high road in daylight, takes the low road in the dark.

NObama is put in a different level of standard, they lower the bar for him, if NObama is put in the same standard as McCain and Sarah Palin; we would never heard of him, he will never survive the primary. NObama is affirmative action candidate.

As a minority, I find affirmative action appalling, I am not measured up in the same standard as caucasian, the bar was lowered for me, that is an insult, I call it legalized discrimination; that causes more friction between races. When I was working in the private sector I was due for promotion and then be told, the company have to promote me because of affirmative action, I balked on that like a wildhorse. I went straight to the owner of the establishment I’ve work for and said to him, “if you want to promote me, do it at my own merit not the color of my skin.” I went back to my office, typed my irrevocable letter of resignation effective immediately, submit it and walked out of my job.

When you’re not put in the same standard as the others, that is insulting and discriminatory. Standard for NObama is lowered and everyone thinks its cool, it isn’t. NObama due to his own greed for power think this is a time for a black President even if his OWN party lower the standard for him. A person with integrity and has honor would say;”you’re making me feel inferior,” but a person without an ounce of honor or integrity would say; ” It’s about time you all must give this to me.”

It becomes acceptable now to be called racist; when real racism strikes people will not react anymore with disdain, they would say; “oh well, I was called racist before because I did not support Obama,” its called lethargy. When you’re called racist when you’re not, you become numb; when true racism is on your face, you will not recognize it.

This is my biggest as a minority; NObama and his supporters use the race card against anyone who is not in lockstep with them. Do they know they’ve just empowered the White Supremacist Groups all over this country? Do they know NObama and his supporters calling people racist is the biggest problem right now of Anti-Defamation League? You cannot unite a nation when you call over 80% of the population racist, you’ve become a divider, you’ve destroyed the fight of Civl Rights organization struggle for equality.

NAACP must address this before its too late, Barack Hussein Obama have just destroyed their life’s work by INVOKING racism. Do NOT blame Caucasians, Asians, hispanics, Native Americans of this country; you’ve done it to yourself without any help from us. None of them step forward to stop it, instead they remain quiet.

Palin on Ahmadinejad: ‘He Must Be Stopped’

Governor Palin, the Republican nominee for vice president, was scheduled to speak today at a rally in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza to protest the appearance here of President Ahmadinejad of Iran. Her appearance was canceled by rally organizers who sought a nonpolitical event. Following are the remarks Mrs. Palin would have given:

I am honored to be with you and with leaders from across this great country — leaders from different faiths and political parties united in a single voice of outrage.

Tomorrow, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will come to New York — to the heart of what he calls the Great Satan — and speak freely in this, a country whose demise he has called for.

Ahmadinejad may choose his words carefully, but underneath all of the rhetoric is an agenda that threatens all who seek a safer and freer world. We gather here today to highlight the Iranian dictator’s intentions and to call for action to thwart him.

He must be stopped.

The world must awake to the threat this man poses to all of us. Ahmadinejad denies that the Holocaust ever took place. He dreams of being an agent in a “Final Solution” — the elimination of the Jewish people. He has called Israel a “stinking corpse” that is “on its way to annihilation.” Such talk cannot be dismissed as the ravings of a madman — not when Iran just this summer tested long-range Shahab-3 missiles capable of striking Tel Aviv, not when the Iranian nuclear program is nearing completion, and not when Iran sponsors terrorists that threaten and kill innocent people around the world.

The Iranian government wants nuclear weapons. The International Atomic Energy Agency reports that Iran is running at least 3,800 centrifuges and that its uranium enrichment capacity is rapidly improving. According to news reports, U.S. intelligence agencies believe the Iranians may have enough nuclear material to produce a bomb within a year.

The world has condemned these activities. The United Nations Security Council has demanded that Iran suspend its illegal nuclear enrichment activities. It has levied three rounds of sanctions. How has Ahmadinejad responded? With the declaration that the “Iranian nation would not retreat one iota” from its nuclear program.

So, what should we do about this growing threat? First, we must succeed in Iraq. If we fail there, it will jeopardize the democracy the Iraqis have worked so hard to build, and empower the extremists in neighboring Iran. Iran has armed and trained terrorists who have killed our soldiers in Iraq, and it is Iran that would benefit from an American defeat in Iraq.

If we retreat without leaving a stable Iraq, Iran’s nuclear ambitions will be bolstered. If Iran acquires nuclear weapons — they could share them tomorrow with the terrorists they finance, arm, and train today. Iranian nuclear weapons would set off a dangerous regional nuclear arms race that would make all of us less safe.

But Iran is not only a regional threat; it threatens the entire world. It is the no. 1 state sponsor of terrorism. It sponsors the world’s most vicious terrorist groups, Hamas and Hezbollah. Together, Iran and its terrorists are responsible for the deaths of Americans in Lebanon in the 1980s, in Saudi Arabia in the 1990s, and in Iraq today. They have murdered Iraqis, Lebanese, Palestinians, and other Muslims who have resisted Iran’s desire to dominate the region. They have persecuted countless people simply because they are Jewish.

Iran is responsible for attacks not only on Israelis, but on Jews living as far away as Argentina. Anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial are part of Iran’s official ideology and murder is part of its official policy. Not even Iranian citizens are safe from their government’s threat to those who want to live, work, and worship in peace. Politically-motivated abductions, torture, death by stoning, flogging, and amputations are just some of its state-sanctioned punishments.

It is said that the measure of a country is the treatment of its most vulnerable citizens. By that standard, the Iranian government is both oppressive and barbaric. Under Ahmadinejad’s rule, Iranian women are some of the most vulnerable citizens.

If an Iranian woman shows too much hair in public, she risks being beaten or killed.

If she walks down a public street in clothing that violates the state dress code, she could be arrested.

But in the face of this harsh regime, the Iranian women have shown courage. Despite threats to their lives and their families, Iranian women have sought better treatment through the “One Million Signatures Campaign Demanding Changes to Discriminatory Laws.” The authorities have reacted with predictable barbarism. Last year, women’s rights activist Delaram Ali was sentenced to 20 lashes and 10 months in prison for committing the crime of “propaganda against the system.” After international protests, the judiciary reduced her sentence to “only” 10 lashes and 36 months in prison and then temporarily suspended her sentence. She still faces the threat of imprisonment.

Earlier this year, Senator Clinton said that “Iran is seeking nuclear weapons, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps is in the forefront of that” effort. Senator Clinton argued that part of our response must include stronger sanctions, including the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization. John McCain and I could not agree more.

Senator Clinton understands the nature of this threat and what we must do to confront it. This is an issue that should unite all Americans. Iran should not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons. Period. And in a single voice, we must be loud enough for the whole world to hear: Stop Iran!

Only by working together, across national, religious, and political differences, can we alter this regime’s dangerous behavior. Iran has many vulnerabilities, including a regime weakened by sanctions and a population eager to embrace opportunities with the West. We must increase economic pressure to change Iran’s behavior.

Tomorrow, Ahmadinejad will come to New York. On our soil, he will exercise the right of freedom of speech — a right he denies his own people. He will share his hateful agenda with the world. Our task is to focus the world on what can be done to stop him.

We must rally the world to press for truly tough sanctions at the U.N. or with our allies if Iran’s allies continue to block action in the U.N. We must start with restrictions on Iran’s refined petroleum imports.

We must reduce our dependency on foreign oil to weaken Iran’s economic influence.

We must target the regime’s assets abroad; bank accounts, investments, and trading partners.

President Ahmadinejad should be held accountable for inciting genocide, a crime under international law.

We must sanction Iran’s Central Bank and the Revolutionary Guard Corps — which no one should doubt is a terrorist organization.

Together, we can stop Iran’s nuclear program.

Senator McCain has made a solemn commitment that I strongly endorse: Never again will we risk another Holocaust. And this is not a wish, a request, or a plea to Israel’s enemies. This is a promise that the United States and Israel will honor, against any enemy who cares to test us. It is John McCain’s promise and it is my promise.

Thank you.

Man, oh Man!

Remember the Hillary “1984 AD”? The one Obama said he had nothing to do with and said he had no idea who its creator was? The guy that created that ad was the roomate of Obama’s campaign spokesman:

http://rawstory.com/news/2007/Hillary_1984_ad_creator_lived_with_0323.html

“Anti-Hillary ‘1984′ ad creator once lived with Obama spokesman Michael Roston
Published: Friday March 23, 2007

The creator of the viral “Hillary 1984″ video that sparked controversy between the presidential campaigns of Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama at one time lived with at least one member of Obama’s staff. Morning Pumas – internet provider up so will try to make hay while the sun shines now — so first and last post today – 1Gypsy will get to your project later today -

RASMUSSEN Shows Obama 48- McCain 47 again -
but something has happened to McCain’s % in MN. – was 49BO to 47MC – now its 55BO – 42MC – hopefully once I finished the TV Stations under media everyone will send in information to stop that lead – additionally – N.Car has dropped on McCain – Rasmussen had reported MC52 – BO41 – now its getting closer – MC50 – BO47 — will be doing the TV Stations this morning for North Carolina – just in the nick of time methinks.

OK – I am off – if any of the people have questions on their projects that I am working on – just send me an email —

slyt2.. do you detected lately that obama is getting bolder in having his presence via surrogates at mccains and sarahs rallys??
i suspect that they want to provoke some white mccain supporters to attack black obama supporters so they can get the media to portray mccain supporters as a bunch of KKK or white supremacists..
..wouldnt suprise me at all thats what they are up to..

#253 murphy on 09.22.08 at 10:25 am

lilibet, #256 — sure.

A country that protects the right of every citizen to worship in whatever way they choose, so long as that worship violates no other citizen’s rights or freedoms, is a wonderful, modern, and morally inclusive country.

A country that ALSO protects the right of every citizen to not worship at all, to profess atheism, or even more provocatively, say, a love for Satan himself, is even greater.

Laws that dictate HOW we think or what we BELIEVE are totalitarian. Laws that protect our RIGHT to THINK and to THINK FREELY are truly democratic.

From Politico 9-21-08:
Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) said Sunday that if he’s elected, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson would be “involved” in the new administration’s transition – a very unusual move when the White House changes parties.

From Spectator 9-8-08:
Paulson briefed Sen. Barack Obama and his campaign advisers on the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac bailout plan before offering such a briefing to the McCain campaign.

In fact, the McCain campaign had sought a similar briefing several days ago as word spread that a bailout plan was to be unveiled and had been turned down by Paulson’s senior staff.

The next question is: Why was the Obama campaign so keen on getting advanced word about the bailout?

“They have a huge problem with the mortgage and housing market story, and everyone is missing it”

Obama campaign staff pulling out of ND
By DALE WETZEL Associated Press Writer
The Associated Press – Monday, September 22, 2008

BISMARCK, N.D.
Barack Obama, who has deployed more than 50 staffers in North Dakota in an attempt to become the first Democratic presidential candidate to carry the state since 1964, is pulling out.

An Obama spokeswoman, Amy Brundage, confirmed Sunday that the campaign’s 11 North Dakota offices are being shut and its staffers dispatched to Minnesota and Wisconsin, where recent polls have shown a tight race between Obama and Republican John McCain.

Its also one of the rights that gets ebbed away at by so called tradition. I see the line of seperation between church and state grow thinner all of the time.

Faith Based initiatives, In God we trust, undivided under god, meet me at the flag pole, the 10 commandments.

It is easy for a christian to tout what a great country this is that we are allowed to worship the way we want, but the nation would be in an uproar over someone fired for wearing a cross to work. But change the cross to a pentacle and see who cares.

Ok I am off my religious soap box. Just had to add my 2 cents LOL

272 osaka puma well I agree with you there, and watching the news today that is all they have been talking about is Race in this election. BO had to bring it up again yesterday on 60 minutes about race being a issue and now AP writes a article and now that is all they are saying is “she won’t vote for him , he won’t vote for him , they won’t because he is Black. And, you better believe it Obama is sitting back and loving this and laughing cuz he cried the race card YET AGAIN and the media is running with it.

#273 Asian4Hillary on 09.22.08 at 10:44 am

10 out of Presidential election, the Republican Party won 7 of them. Many people wonder why Democrats only won 3 (1 Carter, 2 Clinton), the reason for that USA is actually a conservative country, a country that is center leaning right. People have forgotten pioneers and founding fathers of this country fled England to have freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to determine their own future as the creator desire for every human being born into this earth (natural law). Constitutionalists and federalists cannot hold hands with extreme left of the Democratic Party as that a reminder once again why pioneers shipped out British soldiers back to England. Majority of the American people are centrist leaning right more than left. You don’t want to rely on your government to do everything for you, you take care of your government, not your government taking care of you – that is self determination. When the government decides everything for you, what is best for you, how you should spend your own money, self-determination becomes an empty rhetoric.

#274 osaka puma on 09.22.08 at 10:45 am

see obamas MO?? when he feels threatened to lose ground hell pull out the victim race card.. when he feels hes in control hell say issues..
this is all part of obamas training.. calulated stuff my friend..

#275 KarenWI on 09.22.08 at 10:47 am

Rabblerouser, YES. If Obama gets to be president many of our rights will be taken away including freedom of speech. After all, Obama tried to muzzle a Chicago radio station when they interviewed someone doing an investigation about one of BO’s sleezy connections! Our freedoms will be taken away (constitution? bill of rights? who cares about them with a TheOne!); our country would be in grave danger from our enemies; women would lose what ground they had gained so far; and, yes, race would be reverse discrimation a thousand times over! Oh, and that’s not counting small businesses folding, our taxes going up more, babies being slaughtered (he’d repeal the “born alive protection act”); and those who disagreed with him would be in grave danger. This is so scarey…. YES this is AMERICA I’m talking about! … but the American I know and love would be gone then…..

It is “new” to the American people because they have not seen real CORRUPT politician face to face. The only read about corrupt politicians in foreign countries, what they read they’ve failed to recognize face to face.

People like me who escaped a corrupt country ran by corrupt politicians, recognized it right away; we lived through all the upheavals and survived it. To some people in this country, NObama is new, to us who have seen it, NObama is an OLD CLOTH CORRUPT POLITICIAN that EVERY decent human being curse with passion and hope that person will just disappear, as it ALWAYS bring calamity to any nation who is fool enough to believe in him.

I have been lurking for awhile, but am stepping out to chime in on the racist claim.

I have been called a racist, as I am sure many of you have also been called. I am not.

My youngest son is adopted and is of mixed race. AA, white and Japanese. He is partial to AA because he is an excellent athlete, and most are AA.

We live in white suburbia outside of Philly. I chose to attend church in an AA area of the inner city so I could teach my children that their lives were not how most of humanity lives. My church was also mixed, in the Germantown area of Philly. The area is violent, drug infested and filled with the homeless. My church does outreach for all. I loved being involved and having my children involved in soup kitchens and neighborhood projects.

However, a strange thing happened when I switched allegiance from Dem to McCain. My church which included everyone: drug addicts, felons, homeless, and mental patients suddenly had no room me.

And now I am a racist.

Fine, keep calling me a racist. Keep calling everyone a racist. Keep blaming everyone for losing in the polls.

And the more you yell racist, the more people you will lose.

I, myself do not practice any religion, but I respect heavily any creeds, also we must be consciece that religions are heavy part of our culture, and any religion that threats the very core of our believes is threating the very core of our culture, an example of religions that practice immersion is buddhism.
Also I must say that if we go to ELLIS ISLAND, THE MUSEUN ,LIBRARY and do a little bit of research we will happily find out that moslems had settle in usa for almost 80-90 yrs and had lived with us peacefully, and are good americans
WE MUST BE PRECISE when we talk about the issue not to put eveyone in the same sack, we could hurt good people

The Irish joke McCain told this morning at the Irish town hall meeting in PA was pretty cute. Murphy – did you hear it?

#297 theamericanway on 09.22.08 at 11:31 am

McCain in Scranton PA: The third question he took was from a well-spoken woman who first thanked McCain for picking Gov. Palin. Then she turned to the rear of the room (where the press are located) and called outshame upon the media for their attack of Palin. Followed up the comment by asking where are the 30 investigators into Ayers.

A wonderful moment; hope there’s a video that can be posted everywhere.

BTW: McCain said Palin is tough enough to stand up to what she’s been facing.

PS: All this is paraphrased, as best as I can remember.

What makes it worse is that Oblabla is exploiting the black Affirmative Action boost “illegitimately”, as he’s not even technically black. 8/16 Caucasian, 7/16 Arab, 1/16 Negro, which is below the usual bar (1/8). Moreover, he was raised Indonesian and white, not ever black … so he’s pretense from A to Z.
