I am so excited to present this new clip from our film, The Audacity of Democracy: The Hillary Flashpoint and the Battle for the Soul of the Democratic Party. Directed by Brad Mays and produced by Lorenda Starfelt, our documentary tells the story of what really happened and why during the Democratic primaries and in Denver, as well as traces the birth and explosion of the Puma Movement — all of us. Sit back and enjoy. I’ve also included the first clip that we presented in July in case you have not yet seen it. The final film will be released just in time for Inauguration Day, a very fitting moment in time to end this important chapter in the ongoing story of Puma PAC.
I am also excited to announce the opportunity for Puma PAC members to PRE-ORDER a copy of the film. Be the first to own a copy of what I believe will be an invaluable document in the history of not just the Democratic Party but of American Democracy itself.
Everyone who pre-orders in September will receive a VERY SPECIAL gift — a Great Puma PAC Moments in Denver memorial DVD! Everything from our protest at MSNBC to Riverdaughter’s rousing speech at The Rise rally, from Tommy Christopher’s EPIC BATTLE With the Crazed Maniacs at Puma PAC Headquarters (comedy GOLD!) to Lori’s moving interviews with dozens of Pumas who traveled from near and far to be together in Denver. This Great Moments DVD really will make you laugh and make you cry.
ORDER TODAY, and THANK YOU!

Hello all (jrc, one4all, bobram, Headclunker, fineartsinoil, TexasTigress, californiagal, ldog70, atypical, BillieJo)
About the Berg lawsuit - I visited PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records) and looked at the docket of the case. I don’t see any judge’s order entered yet. Looks like the fight is currently over proving service upon defendants.
For Action Center maybe? Here is how one can look at the case status
- visit http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov
- sign up for an account (they charge you 8 cents per page…I am up to 48 cents so far)
- after you get your account & pw log into PACER
- supply the case info (2:08-cv-04083-RBS BERG v. OBAMA et al)
- look at the docket - it is a summary of all the motions, actions, decisions etc
- if you choose HTML format report then the docket has hyperlinks to the actual documents

CNN’s Crowley: Obama Team Wanted ‘Horrific’ Wall Street Headlines
On Monday’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” after CNN senior political analyst David Gergen said “what happened over the weekend with the economy and the bottom falling out of the financial markets…is the opportunity for Obama to seize the momentum back on his side,” Crowley actually said, “[J]ust as foreclosures were showing up on B-17, or in the real estate section, along comes this horrific headline out of Wall Street…I mean, this is what they wanted.”
I kid you not. The transcript of this disgraceful exchange follows (video embedded )

EMAIL FROM MCCAIN CAMPAIGN
Friends,
The polls are tightening across the nation, and one thing is clear: this year’s presidential election will be one of the closest in history. We know that John McCain and Sarah Palin will change Washington, but before they reform our nation’s capital, you have to send them there first.
Now more than ever, your vote is critical. And there’s no better way to vote than by voting early, or with an absentee ballot. Voting early, or with an absentee ballot, is the best way to avoid the long line on Election Day and get your vote counted. Many states allow you to vote early by requesting an absentee ballot through the mail. Please visit http://www.JohnMcCain.com/AB for more details on early voting and absentee ballot requests in your state.
Your support is extremely important to electing John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin in November, and your vote will matter. I’m encouraging you to visit our website and either register to vote or sign up for early voting or an absentee ballot. Your vote will make all the difference in November.
Thanks for your support and for your vote!
Rick Davis
Campaign Manager
P.S. Please forward this email to your friends, family, neighbors and colleagues and encourage them to either register to vote or sign up for early voting or absentee voting. Remember, this will be a close election and the work we do now will make all the difference in electing John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin. Thank you!
John - you are back again - look at the action center above Dances with Pumas has given contact information for Penna for Tv stations that you were suggesting a century ago - maybe two days ago actually - do you still want it - I also have for Ohio and Fla…. Please respond before I close down the computer - 5th attempt at this for you.

Nuh uhhh.
I never diminish the word “rape” by applying it to anything other than the actual act of unwanted sexual violence.
Earlier today I saw some posts about people receiving absentee ballots, but I thought they were sent by democrats. Well, my mom had a message on her answering machine today from some republican group stating that she would be receiving an absentee ballot in the mail and she should return it and vote republican. What is up with that? I don’t ever remember absentee ballots being sent to people who didn’t request them.

I had received an absentee ballot altho I hadn’t requested one. I called the elction board and they said that they hadn’t sent it; it came from the Dem Party. I was suspicious because I had never asked for nor had I ever been sent one before. Coincidentally, or not, I had recently changed party affiliations from Dem. to Indy.

The whole absentee ballot thing seems really strange to me, but apparently democrats and republicans are both doing it. I wonder if anyone knows why. My mom has not changed her party affiliation and has been a lifelong democrat, but the call was from republicans. Strange.
DWP - No in respect to the hansen files - leave it up to your good judgement - I know that it was “invented” just yesterday and I already got a response that they would be investigating my claims - no moderation and never go anywhere like some of the other sites - its all yours.

I am glad she will do that. Lines were drawn in the sand and as one get’s closer to the election…people will act in ways unexpected but necessitated by all sorts of reasons, every one of which is a result of the fraud who has usurped MY Party and who seeks to do the same thing to every other structure I love about this country. I really do not think that is legal. i bet you anything, that it is a fake ballot. It’s probably one of those things that you return and it goes back to a party headquarters. Absentee ballots haven’t even gone out yet, I don’t think. I would report ALL events of people indicating that absentee ballots have been sent to you.
#39 LotusBoy
No, there was no call-back number. Just a message on my mom’s machine. I can’t remember exactly what it said, but the jist of it was that democrats will be bad for the country and their pork-barrel spending is out of control; also something about the democrats and their support of the bridge to nowhere. I do think it was legitimately a republican group that was calling. I just don’t understand why they would be calling my mom, who has never been called before by anyone, and why they are sending absentee ballots.
My mom is in bed now, but if she saved the message I will try to write it all down for everyone tomorrow. I wish I would have thought of it earlier.

Michigan Branch Of ACORN Putting Through Sizable, Duplicate, Fraudulent Voter Apps
The Michigan branch of Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), located in Detroit, is being investigated after several municipal clerks reported fraudulent and duplicate voter registration applications coming through.
ACORN has registered 200,000 voters statewide in recent months with the use of paid, part time employees.
Recently ACORN was in the news when the Milwaukee Election Commission started an investigation because of voters that ACORN was trying to add to voter rolls were dead, imprisoned or imaginary people.

Happy Birthday!!
Karla,
you report it to your county election commission and I would call the state election commission and report it. i really don’t think it is legal.
Get all the information you can. Time of call or date of contact, person’s name you talked to, save the recorded message, what they told you… I would report EVERY time you get contacted. The county election commission reports to the state.
I would make it very very clear what your intentions are for election day (voting in person, etc) and that you better not have any problems or you will have an attorney waiting. There are tons of free attorneys willing to work for you. If I were you, I would actually contact the Green Party (because they are not Democrats and not Republicans) and see if they have an attorney you can go ahead and report this to as well.
Dem5Hillary: Why would you not think that such a thing would come out of an original Dean for American group, now DFA, and run by Howard Dean’s brother.?
Howard Dean is at the center and part of the group that has orchestrated this whole fraud and debacle.
“I join as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 190, to underscore my support for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation. If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system, and the economy as a whole.
I urge my colleagues to support swift action on this GSE reform legislation.” - John McCain 2005

#1079 Alice1943 on 09.17.08 at 12:08 am I’m getting the idea nobody here is too happy about being a democrat. Two different days I’ve asked if anyone could define just what democrat is. Only one I reall got was: A democrat is not a republican. LMBO
Ok, so define either one. LOL
MY RESPONSE -
#1079 Alice1943 - there is a new post upstairs and some are already out there.
Let me try to define it - Democrats or the party is supposedly representative of common people, farmers, unions, woman, choice, ethinicity, diversity, secular vision. In sharing wealth top down and preserving jobs, lives, environment, flora and fauna.
Republicans are by contract supposed to be representative of wealthy, oil drilling, faith based, men at the helm, corporate mongers, us versus them guys that is not in touch with common folks or their needs, blood suckers that live like leech off poor folks, xenophobic, gun totting, animal killing, environment destroying, kind of guys.
This is not my definition but what I have gathered in my almost decade of living in the US coming in from South Asia. When I say what I have gathered, I mean this is what I get from Hollywood, CNN, MSNBC, TIME, Newsweek, NYT, SF chronicles, Chicago tribune to name a few.
I have hardly seen anybody - americans on the road reflect the above definition.
So there you have it.
No what do I think - Totally the opposite. Dems are now hijacked by ultra left just as people said the repubs became neo-cons. Repubs are the new dems and dems are the new sorry ODEMS
I don’t know NewOrleansPuma, I just truly never thought DFA would do it. i truly thought it would be some group I had never heard of before and would never hear of again. I am truly stunned.
Maybe it’s because I was so heavily involved in this group for over 3 years and bought everything they sold me hook, line and sinker. Damn.
Scarlet: That page has been removed from the link site you posted. Any knowledge of why?

Just as a side note, try *69 to call back the number if she hasn’t been on the phone since then.

I hope they raise enough money to air that ad.
It’ll help sink them. They’ve sunk pretty low with that one.

No, can’t use *69 because my mom called me after she got the message. Her phone is very basic, so I don’t think it keeps a history or anything, but I will check. She doesn’t have caller id or call waiting or anything like that. Thanks for the suggestions though.
#64Dem4Hillary: That is alright, Dem4Hillary. As I have said here often, I am a 62 year old lifelong politically active Democrat and I have remained and continue to be numbed and stunned every day something else arises regarding Democratic Party and affiliates since January, w/2008. I am ,. moreover, heart broken at what has become of my party, the party of the people, the party so many of us for so many years supported.
It has been usurped and this usurpation threatens the very nature of this republic. I mean that literally.

Need proof that the press is soft on Barack Obama? Then why didn’t mainstream journalists pick up on the connection between Obama’s finance chair to the sub-prime mess? It certainly would expose Obama’s rhetoric about the issue as hollow.

well I tell ya, one thing that was said tonight is right, it’s just that people think HDean will still be in power inside the party. no, he won’t but this organization is scary to the future of this party.
I actually think DESTROYING DFA will go much farther in restoring some value to this party than getting anyone out of office. DFA partners with move-on for everything. Too much power and money.
KAT IN YOU HAT:
I watched the video and I enjoyed it, also the comments. Someone said that it needs to be made into an ad. I agree because the information about the money that Obama received from these failing institutions needs to be brought to the public at large, especially to the people who are losing so much.

OBAMA ACTION WIRE
[September 16, 2008]
Obama supporters drown out media messages opposing their candidate
(Chicago Tribune (KRT) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Much of Barack Obama’s political success can be traced to a database listing contact information for millions of people, a tool that has proven invaluable in raising record sums of money and organizing a national volunteer network.
Now Obama’s presidential campaign is increasingly using the list to beat back media messages it does not like, calling on supporters to flood radio and television stations when opponents run anti-Obama ads or appear on talk shows.
It did so as recently as Monday night when it orchestrated a massive stream of complaints on the phone lines of Tribune Company-owned WGN in Chicago when the radio station hosted author David Freddoso, who has written a controversial book about the Illinois Democrat.
Called the Obama Action Wire, the latest use of the database is proving yet another new and potentially powerful tactic in the closing weeks of a campaign that has already been dominated by Internet-based messages and media.

Correction…too much control by globalization money as well in addition to that of Soros…a globalization sleaze monger.
PUMA ACTION ALERT suggestion. I think we should prowl the hell out of the polling companies, Zogby, Rasmussen, Gallup, all of them. Their sampling data does not account for PUMAs. McCain is actually more ahead than the polls show. For example, look at this Rasmussen article that breaks down the sample. In past years a 38 to 33 dem to repub would be representative of the country, but this year, PUMAs (democrats) are effectively voting for McCain. This means that Rasmussen should be sampling more republicans than he is. Obama is actually worse off than Rasmussen’s polls show.
Here is what I just wrote to the Rasmussen contact email address:
“Dear Sirs,
Your daily election poll is faulty because you are not taking into account the PUMAs. You should be polling more republicans, because for this election cycle, PUMAs are voting the McCain/Palin ticket.

http://beltwaysnark.com/2008/09/16/john-mccain-supported-a-proposal-for-an-agency-to-oversee-fannie-and-freddiein-2005/
There goes the BULLSHIT OF NANCY PELOSI!!!
In September 2003 Bush proposed a new agency to oversee regulatory reform of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, here’s an excerpt:
The Bush administration today recommended the most significant regulatory overhaul in the housing finance industry since the savings and loan crisis a decade ago.
Under the plan, disclosed at a Congressional hearing today, a new agency would be created within the Treasury Department to assume supervision of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the government-sponsored companies that are the two largest players in the mortgage lending industry.
The new agency would have the authority, which now rests with Congress, to set one of the two capital-reserve requirements for the companies. It would exercise authority over any new lines of business. And it would determine whether the two are adequately managing the risks of their ballooning portfolios.
The plan is an acknowledgment by the administration that oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — which together have issued more than $1.5 trillion in outstanding debt — is broken. A report by outside investigators in July concluded that Freddie Mac manipulated its accounting to mislead investors, and critics have said Fannie Mae does not adequately hedge against rising interest rates.

#90Thank you, Scarlet…This should be an ad for McCain..his campaign should use this material….I appreciate your posting this here.
Demfor Hillary:
Early Voting ballots can only be sent out by the COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSION. Here in Douglas County they will begin sending them out on September 29th TO THOSE WHO HAVE SENT IN an early voting ballot application.
You can be certain that anything else would be illegal and should certainly be investigated. Obama’s Camp is in panic mode right now so they will only increase their efforts to steal the election as they managed to steal the primary from Hillary. Let’s hope that the panic mode will produce some blatant mistakes.
Godzilla,
I’m going to post your comment, link, and letter in the Actions Center Prowls and Talking Points section. brb

DWP thank you so much for Karma in a pantsuit. My new wallpaper.
Obama’s been in the Senate a little over 3 years, yet he made #3 on the list of biggest recipients of omney from Fannie Mae from 1989 through 2008.
Dodd was first at about $136,000 and Kerry was second. Both Dodd and Jerry have been in Congress since 1989. Obama comes in third at about $106,000 and he’s only been there for 3 years!!!!!
So over 20 years, Dodd averaged between $6000 and $7000 a year. Kerry about $5000 a year. Obama - -ready?- - -$35,000 a year!!!
That’s one big hog at the trough!
#72 Karla for Hillary
One last idea, if you want to try, is call the phone company.
This stuff is getting really scary!
#94 DancesWithPumas, that letter I wrote could probably use some beefing up with facts about PUMAs, regarding their numbers and resolve.
The failure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac could have been averted IF Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=s109-190
I hate it when WE TAXPAYERS have to bail out these companies! Of course Christopher Dodd Chairman of Housing Committee received the biggest money from Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, NObama was second! Talking about corruption!
Pumas, I have spent a good portion of today hunting obots and trolls. They are out in force. On youtube, I noticed that many were accounts were created between november2007 and Feburary 2008. These accounts all had the same profile. No videos in favorites or uploaded and no comments or friends or subscriptions.
It is clear to me that Carpathias camp has set up sleeper accounts at youtube and most likely other places.
This way one person can appear to be many.

Obama supporters drown out media messages opposing their candidate
————————————————–
Moveon.org has been involved in these mass emailings as well. Kim Gandy stated that NOW is endorsing BO because they have had an overwhelming number of emails from women supporting BO.
Well, I haven’t watched the whole clip. I think it’s sad that hungover Tommy Christopher’s face and manic Christina Cedeno’s voice are in the documentary. At this point, most of the puma blogsphere knows that Tommy Christopher, an anti puma Obama lovin’ blogger on AOL, is a sad, liberal, alcoholic in denial who likely neglects his family, and Christina is a cyberstalking madwoman who devotes her entire blog to spying on regular people…which is VERY creepy.
It saddens me to see Tommy Christopher so unattractive and hung over and angry. Just bad…just sad. Bad bad bad…he should hate this recording…just horribly unattractive.
These folks do not deserve publicity, but if THESE people are the ones who stand for the symbolic “opposition” to Puma pac and the Just Say No Deal movement and all of that, ok–use them as scapegoats.
Honestly, I am very disappointed to see that these people are involved in the process. I pity these people. So does much of the internet who know what’s up.
Hey Tommy and Christina: sorry to call you out, but you ARE in the documentary, and you DO have serious issues.
Whatever, they were so obsessed with fighting puma, but now they have to deal with something else: McCain’s entire campaign is now concentrating on “Country First,” which is not much different than “party unity my ass” or “country before party.” Now it just is the way it is..and it’s national. Tommy and Christina must hate that.
Good nite all.
Grizzly
The more I know about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, how it could have been averted, it is making me MORE angry towards the Democratic Party. Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005 only has three co-sponsors : Elizabeth Dole, John McCain and John Sununu. For Nancy Pelosi blaming the GOP is downright an insult to ALL of US TAXPAYERS! We are seeing TRUE CORRUPTION within the democratic Party, self invested interest, to hell with the people! These SOBs should be voted OUT OF OFFICE!

He said that the Post was basically a news/politics version of the National Enquirer and that it is not a coincidence that the MSM has not picked up on the story.
Funny thing about the Enquirer though is that while most of their muck is unsavory, it’s almost always true.
so, I’m still open to it being a true story.

How in the heck are we going to defeat Obama?
He has the media on his side in addition to the internet with over one million Facebook friends and he has raised over two million over the internet. Then, I just found out about MyBo.
MyBo, a social network, has 850,000 users and has organized 50,000 events. And they’ve done all this, BusinessWeek reports, while only billing the campaign $1.1 million.

Someone on a message board that I go to posted this:
The timing of this Wall Street Nightmare works in Obama’s favor right now. With his ACORN skills, the polls mean nothing. He will win. I’ll be surprised if McCain keeps his lead in the polls much longer based on how horrific the attack machine on Palin has been. (end of post)
I don’t know why this man thinks the Wall Street Nightmare works in Obama’s favor. I will explore that further tomorrow.

Thank you for the explanation Murphy. I do hope a real journalist looks into this. And all of the other question marks against this guy.
I mean I hope at least one of them manages to pry themselves away from other breaking news stories like troopers that needed to be fired and whether or not Piper Palin cheated on her spelling exam….
Partial except from New York Times:
The Fox News Channel discussed the report on two of its programs. It was also picked up by The New York Post, which shares ownership with Fox News, and was discussed by several conservative talk-radio hosts.

I went to the McCain rally 9/16 in Tampa Florida. He only spoke for about 20 minutes and it was the same speech as Ohio I think. He seemed more relaxed and energized in Tampa. He really does come across with trust and genuine concern about changing the course of America. I am still getting the McCain bashing stuff from my Democrat friends. I guess they figure they have time to work on me to get me into BO’s corner. They really don’t have a clue!

There are millions of PUMAs out there… regardless if they know they’re PUMAs. BuryBarry outspent Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton by $4 to $1, ran a, supposedly, tight campaign, and she still beat his sorry ass.
The openly way he will win is by cheating royally… but already there are reports coming to the fore describing the fraud and cheating in voter registrations…
The Republicans aren’t going to let that go by the wayside.

Scarlet, not to worry.
850,000 users is not a big number in a country where
about 140 MILLION people vote for the president.
And voter turnout in Swing States is historically 10+ points higher than it is in solid blue or red states.
AND, voter turnout among young people (18-29) has CONSISTENTLY been between 10-20% DOWN since 1970 in 12 of the biggest states in the country.

Prominent Clinton backer and DNC member to endorse McCain
Posted: 10:07 PM ET
From CNN Political Editor Mark Preston
A prominent backer of Hillary Clinton is endorsing McCain.
WASHINGTON (CNN) — Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a prominent Hillary Clinton supporter and member of the Democratic National Committee’s Platform Committee, will endorse John McCain for president on Wednesday, her spokesman tells CNN.
There was a report on the news tonight,my son saw it but I did not. I can tell you that our Gov bredesen is in tank for obama and He appointed our AG who met with Sasser who is also in the tank for Obama. They have a tight little circle. I am not close to Nashville, its about 3 hours from me.
I like to check things out, so after jbjd started us on that faxing letters,I learned yhe association between Gov,Ag …..
Wow Murphy I have been on this blog to long,I barely watch tv and they dont report in my part of town Fully repub bible belt here……..so Im just reading what they did to the Kurita vote,it looks like something to be put in our puma movie, like they stole her votes? and they are going to pick someone else because they did not like her associates?and no one was running against her? I believe dem for hill is from Nashville so she might have the local info.
omg… that flag photo is beautiful!
Bookmarked to read later (at wack).
Will add the link to the Action Center, announced the Action Center savant.
The Tennessee Democratic Party Executive Committee has voted to declare state Sen. Rosalind Kurita’s thin primary victory invalid. The panel voted 33-11 on Saturday to declare Kurita’s 19-vote victory “incurably uncertain” after her opponent, Clarksville attorney Tim Barnes, alleged heavy Republican interference in the Democratic nominating contest.
A joint convention of the Democratic executive committees in Cheatham, Houston and Montgomery counties will now determine who the nominee will be. There is no Republican running in the general election.
Murphy, by the time Kerry’s ready to run again we could have a significant war chest raised so you could beat him…..

Okay, I beefed up the letter with some information and emailed it to the actioncenter. This is how it reads:
” Dear Sirs,
In reference to your article titled “New Rasmussen Reports Party Weighting Targets: 38.7% Democrat 33.6% Republican”, dated September 14, 2008, you make no allowance for the PUMA voters. PUMAs are democrats who voted for Mrs. Clinton in the primary. As you know, 18 million democrats voted for Mrs. Clinton. Yet, because of fraud and cheating in the causcuses, and because of an undemocratic selection process at the convention, Obama was given the top spot on the Democratic ticket. As a result, millions of PUMAs are voting McCain/Palin this election cycle. Because of this, your weighting is faulty, and your poll results are inaccurate. To factor in the PUMAs, you should be weighting republicans more heavily than you are. Obama is actually doing worse than your polls show, because of the PUMA factor.
Regards,
Your Name”
I’ll get the contact emails for the polling organizations and post them.
Ed O’Reilly won 1/3rd of the votes caste although he was a newcomer and was out spent 10 to 1. I think he did quite well and that the results show that there are a lot of unhappy Democrats out there.
I saw Alma this past spring and she thanked me for standing up for Hillary…. I swear I saw her recently, but can’t remember where.
What is going on with her?
yes dwp and TennP, i think this is a big story.
I caught a glimpse of it in the news yesterday, but Michele Thomas from 300 Delegates gave me a real heads-up today.
Dem in the nasville post online, not a very nice story on her. They seem to be heavy Obama supporters
http://politics.nashvillepost.com/2008/09/13/defeat-deferred-democratic-executive-committee-punts-on-kurita/
On a personal note, I’m glad kurita was overturned, She has NEVER been a friend to Democratic causes. She was originally running against Harold Ford Jr. in 2006 and ran in oposition to unions. HOWEVER….. we do not have party registration. You cannot legally justify removing any candidate who won their election.

Mr. Barnes’ attorney was quoted in an article in today’s Clarksville paper (Leaf Chronicle) as saying that they ‘analyzed’ the voters in the primary election and found that many people voted for Senator Kurita who had voted Republican in the past. The attorney contends that would mean the Republicans determined the nominee of our Party. If we look into the private records of voters and determine that they can not vote for the candidate of their choice, especially when their Party had no candidate, then we may regularly be setting aside duly certified elections.

I also agree, Tommy (the moron on the couch) is creepy and throws off the interest of the movie. My 2 cents is that the story line jumps around too much. PUMAs that know all these people may keep the story lines seperate in their heads, but is this a documentary to enlighten outsides as to how regular Democrats became PUMAs and the events that took place? One more comment, I think if the movie starts out with you telling the nasty names people have called you or PUMAs, that should be stated in a subtitle, it will be a shock for new people to be hit with that at the beginning of the movie, and many older, more conservative folks may not listen after that. I am not saying it should be a Disney movie by any means, just wondering if you want to reach more people then PUMAs or not.
Love you Murph.

Saturday’s hearing is not about who should be punished. It is about Democracy and one person/one vote. It is about not setting aside an election unless there is clear and convincing evidence that serious irregularities have taken place. Mr. Barnes’ petition is sorely lacking in such proof.

Im really sorry I don’t knnow more about things going on. I’ve been totally out of the loop since my resignation. Certian people that I used to talk to won’t even answer the phone anymore. i don’t know anything at all that’s up.

I think this is important enough to coordinate from the top of PUMApac, setting a time and date in which to do it. These polls affect the daily consciousness of the electorate. These polling organizations must be aware of the PUMA strength, and that means a COORDINATED action.

I am with Alma Sanford on this one, I know how she feels, I have the same feeling about the Democratic Party, its not my party anymore. I don’t know how to describe the present Democratic Party, but it reminds me so much of a political party in my old country that supports dictatorship, making the government rule its citizens 24/7, requires complete obedience. When I left the Democratic Party on June 5, I knew I won’t be coming back; Denver Convention have just confirmed what I think of the Democratic Party, it’s the party I no longer hold with respect or trust.

Murphy, *****what would happen, or is it too late to put a woman in as a third party candidate for November?
Pros and cons:
-cons are that it would dilute the vote for those that are willing to vote Repub and get Obama out of the running.
-pros, for those that would leave the top of the ballot blank, it would register as a real protest vote for a female that is against sexism in this election.

I think Obama sounded Presidential like an actor playing President on a Hallmark Card. meaningless and vapid. with an added touch of arrogant pomposity. He prefaces every remark with a subtle inference that he is better educated than you, but that doesnt make him sound educated to me.
I liked the specificity of McCain’s answers. I only agreed with two of them, but I felt like I was disagreeing with something substantive — and I dont think he’s lying. wrong, wrong, wrong — but not lying.
Disagreeing with Obama is like disagreeing with a teleprompter.
Drudge Report:
Clinton blindsided by scheduled event with Palin
By DEVLIN BARRETT – 3 hours ago
WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has canceled an appearance at a New York rally next week after organizers blindsided her by inviting Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, aides to the senator said Tuesday.
Several American Jewish groups plan a major rally outside the United Nations on Sept. 22 to protest against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Organizers said Tuesday that both Clinton, who nearly won the Democratic nomination for president, and Palin, Republican candidate John McCain’s running mate, are expected to attend.
That would have set up a closely scrutinized and potentially explosive pairing in the midst of a presidential campaign, one in which the New York senator is campaigning for Democratic nominee Barack Obama while Palin actively courts disappointed Clinton supporters.
Clinton aides were furious. They first learned of the plan to have both Clinton and Palin appear when informed by reporters.
“Her attendance was news to us, and this was never billed to us as a partisan political event,” said Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines. “Sen. Clinton will therefore not be attending.”
A McCain-Palin campaign official, speaking on condition of anonymity because Palin’s schedule for Monday has not been announced, said only that Palin tentatively planned to attend the rally.
you are right murphy, you are right. I just didn’t think about it. Hmm…
I mean I didn’t think about Kurita being overturned as a sexist thing but I also didn’t know that there wasn’t even a republican running and you know what else, during that Primary, there was an election on the Democratic side for Senator. It would make sense that TONS of republicans would have crossed over if they wanted to vote in that Senate Race because Lamar Alexander is up for re-election on the republican side so if he had any repub opponent at all, it would have been just for show.
A family relative crossed over into the Republican primary in west tennessee to vote for the Republican running against Marsha Blackburn. It was really an election where strategic voting took place and it was low turnout and it was more likely that people voted in the Democratic election due to the senatorial race.
I was happy at first because I truly don’t like Kurita, but you know, the more I think about it and analyze it, yeah, it’s totally baseless that she should have to give up that seat. She did win. We don’t have party registration.

Anytime, ANYONE goes against the grain of the Democratic Party or NObama should expect to be called all kinds of name. NObama has evoke so much hatred, I’ve never seen anything like it. Take for example Murphy, she received threats over the phone, some people here have their property destroyed because they have a sticker of Hillary on their bumper.
The Democratic Party become a party of hate and mysogyny because of NObama, as he himself never hesitate to spew his own brand of hatred using subtlety. A candidate running for President and uses language so insulting, so humiliating to anyone - including was his first victim, then it’s Sarah Palin. How can people support NObama is beyond my comprehension, perhaps they’re just as twisted as he mentally!
