HEADS UP EVERYBODY

I just bought for only about $15.00 from Amazon.com the following book. It came yesterday. "The Case Against Barack Obama" by David Freddoso. It's an excellent current report of some 290 pages.

Among other things on page 163 we have the following: "Michelle Obama's employer, University of Chicago Hospitals, raised her pay from $121,910 in 2004 to $316,962 in 2005, two months after her husband became a U.S. Senator. Barack Obama would later request a $1 million federal earmark for the hospital." Her job is public relations. There's a lot more in this book.

Suggest you get a copy and check it out.

569 I would like to make calls. I received a list from the Election Board "Party Declaration Report" with names, phone #'s, party of voters by town in my County. It is public domain and anyone can request it, but must fill out form to get it. That is for NJ of course.
I would like some help on figuring how to present myself, a script like I used to make calls for Hillary.

Check out #179 and:

Republicans and Women
Standing in sharp contrast to the two existing political parties’ present stereotypes regarding minorities and women, once again the Republican Party was the vanguard in relation to women. In 1917, Jeannette Rankin, a Montana Republican, became the first woman to serve in the House. Committed to her pacifist beliefs, she was the only member of Congress to vote against entry into both World War I and World War II.
Shortly after Rankin’s election to Congress, the 19th Amendment was passed in 1919. The amendment’s journey to ratification had been a long and difficult one. Starting in 1896, the Republican Party became the first major party to officially favor women’s suffrage. That year, Republican Sen. A. A. Sargent of California introduced a proposal in the Senate to give women the right to vote. The proposal was defeated four times in the Democratic-controlled Senate. When the Republican Party regained control of Congress, the Equal Suffrage Amendment finally passed (304-88). Only 16 Republicans opposed the amendment.
When the amendment was submitted to the states, 26 of the 36 states that ratified it had Republican-controlled legislatures. Of the nine states that voted against ratification, eight were controlled by Democrats. Twelve states, all Republican, had given women full suffrage before the federal amendment was finally ratified.

574BillieJoe and jane-pa: He will and already has pulled in illegals. He has pulled in dead people. He has and will continue to challenge various state requirements that demand confrimation of residence and voter identification. He will deluge the polls in exactly the way he did at the Caucuses. For this reason, I urge, exhort, nay..beg people not to stay home on that day.
How will you feel if you do that and this guy wins? How do you know that your giving up your right to vote as he himself took away from us in the primaries and in the DNC did not help him? , no matter your reasons for doing that.Guilt trip? NO...Reality trip.
Please use the greatest right we still have(I hope) in this country: The right to vote in private for a candidate
on election day.

And now, having made my little speech(Iknow!) I need to turn my attention to the most important issue of this day: Watching the New Orleans Saints beat the Redskins! Cheers to each and all of you Pumas.

I actually am not too worried about troopergate because the Rep's have a lot of tricks up their sleeve, and they are very, very good at this stuff - much better than the Dem's. Look what happened to Kerry, etc in the past.

Thanks... I would never attempt to push my views onto anyone else. I think healthy debate :) is good for everyone and if each of us learns something we didn't know before, than that is healthy. I have to say, two years ago, I thought it was going to be Hillary against Mitt in 08 just from all the chatter (I work in the Capital city) but I was not surprised that McCain won the R primary...however, I was TOTALLY surprised that Obama won.... I was like--who is this guy? I knew nothing about him except he had made a splash at the 04 DNC (I watch both as I try to vote country over party...) From this blog, I've learned a lot about him and not much of it good...and I really appreciate the "true facts" that come from this blog (the links to undoctored video, historical references, and real research you all do.)
