I sent this–because I agree with you..sorry about the capitalization errors..forgot to proofread it..watching the memorials with eyes and heart full of tears..we must NEVER forget ..
Ms Bosely;
Thank-you for keeping your word and casting your vote for hillary clinton.America needs more up-standing, courageous people just like you! may you have continued success in your life and work.
Tucker would look better in burnt orange, that woulds seal his stupid lips. It boggles my mind the idiots who spout trash all day and the people who listen to them. I rarely listen to men blab! The money they make with their BS is astounding, men are the BS experts of the WORLD!
Feel free to share your 9/11 memories here. Today is a perfect time to remember.
on another note, how’s this for a conspiracy theory. Obama IS eligible to be president, but with his plunge in the polls and his campaign off the track, the DONC plays on the real and growing perception out there that Obama is NOT eligible to be president, so they pretend that he has to step down due to a technicality and then they nominate Hillary, with Biden as the VP.
good mourning to you , too shampoovta..and to all of us..Americans we loved and people who love us and all people world wide who lost loved ones and friends..
Murphy – That was what I proposed was the situation with Biden testing the waters with his whole ” Hillary would have been the better choice ” …. HMMMM – Brilliant minds LOL
Good morning, folks. Watching the 9/11 ceremony on CNN. They’re playing Amazing grace on the bagpipes. The pipes, the pipes are playing. Always gets me right in my chest. The dude is weeping as he’s playing. Wow.
We watched it on TV –in this little town in middle Georgia–in Horror and Shock..I saw the first tower–and screamed for my family to come and see what was happening! It must have have been magnified a thousand times over for people in New York and all the other places actually involved! Even watching the memorials, I get that feeling that my chest is swelling withshock yet I am filled with pride about Americans and the way we handle things..and we just keep going.May God Bless Us All.
I remember this morning so well too Sunshine. I was at work and my boyfriend called and told us to turn on the TV. I’m sorry we did, as we saw the second plane hit and watched mortified and crying as the buildings tumbled. I’ll never forget how the media themselves emotionally lost it as they came down. I can’t recall who we were watching, if it was Peter Jennings or Tom Brokaw, but I remember the crack in the voice as that first building fell.
I couldn’t stop crying after that. And here we are, 7 years later, and FUCK! I’m crying again…
I was working at the Credit Union on Randolph AFB and the security police started putting up the security warnings on our doors – you could hear the roar of all the planes taking off – customers were calling in – we were then on lock-down with military police outside our doors with M-16s and were told we would become Mission Essential if necessary! We had a small training TV and watched, cried, and were in shock. An Assault on America!!
After watching FOX late last night, it’s easy to understand why Obama and team were upset when McCain aired the Moses ad.
The Dems have now elevated *HIM* to Jesus…holy crap! What must the Dems be thinking? Let’s just see if he will be walking across the Potomoc.
Sorry to be irreverent, but between the lipstick, Fowler’s abortion remark (I was stunned to hear that her husband is the same guy that said the hurricane happening at the same time as the Republican convention was divine intervention!), it is unbelievable!
I’m so happy that the sexism charges are gaining traction. Finally. It’s about time.
Still, you have to wonder why the focus on the lipstick story and NOT the caucus fraud? I’m still hoping that as election day draws closer, FOX comes out with the big guns.
My husband had a doctors appointment that morning. He was getting ready when the first plane hit tower one.I called him in to see, we watched for a few minutes and before we left the second plane hit. I felt then right away that it was a terrorist attack. One plane an accident,Maybe, but two planes no way.I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT DAY,WHERE I WAS AND WHAT WE WERE DOING. This one act of Terror brought this Country together as I have never seen In my life time.
9/11 was the end of America as we knew it. I remember it well. We were glued to the tv and tears rolling down our faces. At the time we were doing the best we had ever done. We weren’t rich but had everything we needed and then some. We had a thriving business and had a solid future before us. We gave to the victims that day until it hurt. I remembered praying for them and for our country. On that day we no longer took anything for granted. Our business went bankrupt and our dreams went up in smoke. We no longer felt secure and safe. It is a day that we will never forget and we still feel the pain everyday as we just struggle to survive.
Today is 9/11, I remember exactly where I was when the Twin Tower was hit by commercial jet full of passengers. When CNN broke the news, I was down on my knees in my living room start praying and crying, I have a friend working in that tower. The first suspect that comes to my mind are Muslim extremists, the bombing of our US Embassy in Kenya was still fresh on my mind. I also remember the first attempt of the Twin Tower in the 90′s during Clinton Administration that killed a pregnant woman. I try to call my friend on his cellphone, he goes to work at 8am, I knew he’s in the building. I get the recording I can’t connect to his cellphone. I was glued to my TV, then I saw the second jetliner strike the other building, I knew right away it was a well planned attack, it has military precision, the Pentagon was hit too. When I saw people jumping off the building, I knew USA will never be the same again. What left a deep memory in my mind was a couple holding hands jumping off the building. They did not allow the terrorists to make a decision for them, they’ve made their own choice; even in the few remaining moments of their life, they remain defiant.
I was able to hear from my friend almost close to midnight. He said when the building was struck, his office mates thought it was just a small aircraft, but he told them to get out of the building, he use the stair like the others, some people refuse to leave the building. When the Twin tower collapsed he was a block away from the building. He said he was running but doesn’t know where he’s going, all he can think of was to ran away from the building as far as possible.
I have deep anger towards the Muslims up to now, in fact I do NOT trust them. Many christians were killed by Muslims where I came from, we all have to fight or they’ll annihilate us. A Muslim will tell you he/she is a christian but will not hesitate to slit your throat after saying to you, “I love you, you’re my brother”.
The American people must NEVER forget who is their real enemy, this country’s enemy is wearing a turban in secret and want to kill all of you if you do not submit to them. Jihadist are all over USA and one of them is running for President. Don’t be fooled, please don’t be fooled.
We were at GM in Anderson Indiana . I was on a break and saw the planes hit the towers , so I ran back to my team and told them what happened and we turned on the tv – everyone stopped working ( at GM that doesn’t happen ) . There was a sense of anxiety – everyone wanted to do something – ANYTHING they could to help support those victims or to sign up for search and rescue or join the military or re-enlist . We were running around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to figure out what we could do . Within an hour and a half , we had set up an emergency blood drive at the Union hall and everyone that could donated … I have never felt so helpless in my life …
… we can’t forget this quote from Obama’s book Audacity of Hope
“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
Whatever did he mean by that?
Obama is not legally African-American as he claims but Arab-American and Islam still considers him to be a Muslim. Surely Americans are entitled to take this into account when they are voting for the next President of America.
Your post is very touching. I know that this day must be especially hard for those that knew the victims personally. I didn’t know anyone that was there but as I posted above…Everyone was affected by this tragedy and America has never been the same since.
I have already researched that. You have to read the rest of what he said. He was talking about if Muslims were singled out like the Japanese were during war time that he would stand by them. He didn’t want the American Muslims to be treated like the Japanese were. I can’t stand Obama and sure don’t want to defend him, but in this case what he said was twisted.
An Assault on America I can’t even stop crying!! Homeland Security has been trying to tell us for the past several weeks that they have uncovered more information about possible terrorist threats.
Put that together with the Saul Alinsky doctrine concerning Community Organizers, etc., it gives me more reason to get angry, upset, frustrated!! From Within!!
The U.S. threat level is High, or Orange, for all domestic and international flights. Only small amounts of liquids, aerosols and gels are allowed in carry-on baggage. See the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Web site for up-to-date information on items permitted and prohibited on airlines.
There is no credible, specific intelligence suggesting an imminent threat to the homeland at this time. Still, we are closely assessing potential threats and response planning leading into and following the electoral process in 2008 to 2009. Heightened coordination and planning among intelligence community and law enforcement partners is being undertaken solely out of an abundance of caution, and focuses on preventive and preparedness measures for the transition period between administrations.
The NYT says there is absolutely no doubt that Obama did not really call Palin a pig, but did you see him try to explain it? He couldn’t even deliver the lines with a straight face –he was smirking through the whole thing.
One thing is for sure, the media has forgotten all about Sunday when he told Stephanopoulos about “my Muslim faith.”
Remember S. T. Agnew? He was the VP under Nixon. When it became obvious that Nixon was in big trouble, even before the whole nation caught on, Agnew was charged with a misdemeanor count of tax fraud and pled no contest after he resigned. Gerald Ford was appointed VP. Then all H broke lose and Nixon eventually resigned, leaving Ford the only president that was not ever elected.
Why do I bring this up? Contemplate this:
Biden is a lush. It is obvious that he is. He will resign. Hillay will take his place. Obama IS NOT qualifed to legally run for president, and he will be removed, either by the court or by the party in some plea agreement regards to his citizenship or lack thereof, and Hillary will be the nominee………………..
Well, I, like so many, turned on the TV in time to hear about the first plane. Then I saw the 2nd plane arriving and “yelled” at the plane saying “what are you thinking to be in that area”? I soon found out as the 2nd plane crashed into the building. That was the moment of Paula Zahn’s initiation on CNN. I cried so much, and to this day I cannot think about it without getting emotional. I turned off the TV this morning because that kind of intense emotional stress is just too much for me.
For those of you who remember the moment when JFK was shot will understand. Then, I cried for 3 days and ended up with asthma, something that I am ordinarily not afflicted with. I had been at Arlington on November 11 and taken pictures of Kennedy inside the Arboretum.
I was actually in my homeroom in Landover Hills, Maryland(20 minutes from Wash. D.C.)looking at the pictures at the time Kennedy was shot, though I wouldn’t know it until I was in the first afternoon class.
I will simply pray for all the families of people who lost their lives and for the survivors who have particular needs that the rest of us can only imagine.
Since the Obama Campaign’s call for a Pig Pen Stampede against Sarah Palin, it has become all too apparent what happened to Hillary Clinton during the Primary Campaign. Obama, himself, refuses to take any responsibility for the situation, even disclaiming that his own “lipstick on a pig” reference was inappropriate.
The misogynists have come out of the woodwork for the call to oink. Here they are, dancing like happy pigs all over the boob tube as well as the blogs. And they even have some women dancing with them.
Prowles with public figures who are acting like or dancing with the pigs are effective, but most of the worst of the trash is generated by people who enjoy your indignation. I’ll post a few things, but I do not really know have effective that is. So, what can be done? The hardest thing of all… nothing. We need to stay focused on our goals.
GO TO THE POLLS!
Volunteer as a Poll Worker
Get Voters to the Polls
The Voice of the Voters centers on Middle America, so the more diverse and inclusive we can make the registration and participation, the better off we will be. Obama will center on males, African Americans, and young voters. We must be all inclusive. Since the Females have failed to fall in line, he will have to cheat to win. We must watch, document and require accountability of the process.
Also, people tend to forget that obama is related to Odinga in Kenya and Odinga supports Radical Muslims that enforce Sharia law. He is the leader of Kenya after much violence and murder . There are reports of people being burned alive in churches and tortured because the Luo tribe wanted to win the elections. It CAN happen here..I hope that all Americans be on their guard and do not be swayed by pretty words and empty promises.
Truce for 911. The memorial is nice. They read the names of the dead and unveil a bench for each. I always get teary on this day. It just messes with my head. We were so afraid. I was clenched jawed all day while working in the classroom on the day it happened. My girl friend got historical in the parking lot on the way in to work. My kids drew crayon pictures of the towers on fire for weeks after. It messed with us. It just so messed with our heads. I cryed in the shower every mourning be for work. It still messes with me.
After our sorrow had passed we were looking to kick some ass. I knew it was not a good idea. What ells could we do? The pain was unreal so we wanted to give pain back. America is like a sleeping lion and they woke it up! I for give my self for every feeling I had after, hate, grief, fear. Then as we were more and more embroiled in war. A war the White house was fumbling then I questioned like all sain people should. A friend of mine, Bruce who was in Nam said that we didn’t go in to win. That is what happened to them in Nam. Then the surge corrected this horrible lack of commitment. Now we are in a political race for a new President and may be a new start. I hope so.
YOU ARE NOT TOO FAR OFF. IT VERY WELL COULD HAPPEN THAT WAY. EXCEPT IF *61 IS PROVEN NOT TO HOLD CITIZENSHIP AND IS DISQUALIFIED, THEN THE DNC APPOINTS SOMEONE TO TAKE HIS PLACE. THEY HATE HRC, BUT GUESS WHAT – AT THAT POINT THEY WILL NOT HAVE A CHOICE….LMAO!
9/11 seven years later is still a day of deep emotion and mourning for me. I live within a commute of NYC, and a number of people in my community were killed. Including one of the pilots who attended my church.
My sons were 10 and 12 then, and after I picked them up after school, we went directly to church. I didn’t know what else to do. Nothing was there, but a sign on the door saying they would be open indefinitely. It was hard to explain to my children what happened. Although they knew it was monumental as many parents were picking up their children early from school.
And I still don’t know what to say. We have a small memorial in my community honoring the fallen. With a piece of the towers. I cannot take visitors there without crying. As I am doing while I type this.
My thoughts are prayers are with all the friends and loved ones of those who never made it home that night.
Who cares what the New York Times thinks about the lipstick on a pig crack. I know what I saw and I know what I see and so do you all. Driving to work yesterday my car radio was on the wrong channel thanks to children driving my car. So this one stoner sounding smart a$$ said “well let’s call a spade a spade regarding this lipstick on a pig comment” let me tell you the conversation took off regarding racist comments and at that point I couldn’t change the channel. They came around to deciding it was a sexist and also stupid thing to say. And of course this is one of those shows that is all male except for the token female who chimes in to affirm their BS on behalf of women everywhere when ever they feel they should have female approval. Pretty interesting and unexpected I thought.
Don’t know if any of you got the e-mail about a month ago about the USS New York (Navy ship)- Her Hull was made from steel from the towers. Here is the e-mail without the pictures ..
USS New York
It was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center .
It is the fifth in a new class of warship – designed for missions that include special operations against terrorists. It will carry a crew of 360 sailors and 700 combat-ready Marines to be delivered ashore by helicopters and assault craft.
Steel from the World Trade Center was melted down in a foundry in Amite , LA to cast the ship’s bow section. When it was poured into the molds on Sept 9, 2003, ‘those big rough steelworkers treated it with total reverence,’ recalled Navy Capt. Kevin Wensing, who was there. ‘It was a spiritual moment for everybody there.’
Junior Chavers, foundry operations manager, said that when the trade center steel first arrived, he touched it with his hand and the ‘hair on my neck stood up.’ ‘It had a big meaning to it for all of us,’ he said. ‘They knocked us down. They can’t keep us down. We’re going to be back.’
I also remember where I was on that day 7 years ago.
My house was being painted. The painter was one of my tennants and his wife. I was bustling around that morning as my 14 year old daughter, a home schooled student, prepared to leave for band practice at the public school. We had the news on the Today show like we always did. All of a sudden Beth screamed for me to come into the living room. I ran in just to see the second plane hit the building. The front door was open on that nice morning, and Frank and Ruby, the painters came running in to see what was wrong.
Beth was very shaken and crying. She asked us if our nation was at war. We didn’t know what to say. A few minutes later, my good friend Sally arrived. (I run a business from home and she was my bookkeeper/secretary at that time.)
Frank, Ruby, Sally and I huddled around Beth trying to reassure her, all the while not really knowing what was going on. I remember Sally taking Beth to band, but they turned school out early that day and they were soon home. We all tried to work that day, but mostly we stayed glued to the TV and the news.
This is one of those things that will sear itself into our memories for a generation. My daughter, not being in public school, saw it all as it happened. I know that her seeing it in real time was a major thing in her life. She took a great deal of interest in public affairs and history following that day. She is a senior in college majoring in hisrtory, who knows? Maybe 9-11 had something to do with that.
Again regarding the lipstick on a pig BO comment. Have you all noticed BO is sounding like some sort of stand up comedian in his latest campaign talks? Something about his interaction with the audience and the cadence of his speech or something. He is really off. It is really wrong considering the content he should be talking about. And these low down slurs that have been coming out of his mouth are very unprofessional.
I have to go to work now. The kids at the high school are going to talk about 911 in the class rooms today. Many were to young to remember. It is always like this I guess. All threw out history. The pain and shock fade. We for get. This must be how my grand parents got threw Pearl Harbor. Man,.. how will these kids be tested? What event will unite them in a painful memory? That is a hectic thought.
911 changed the way I looked at every thing. They have grown up with in this change.
Huong — thanks — I forgot about the “Get over it” remark.
I had just walked my 1st and 3rd graders to school and was carrying the baby back home. It was an unforgettably perfect morning in New England. The blue sky, the crisp warm air — the world seemed to be literally humming with happiness. When I walked into the kitchen the phone was already ringing. I ended up feeling grateful we didnt own a TV that day. The most indelible images that are burned in my mind are of the couple holding hands as they jumped from the building and of the photos of New Yorkers who were watching from the sidewalks. Every face was turned toward the sky and everyone had their hands covering their mouths in shock and horror. But what I’ll never forget were the faces– young Asian men beside old white men beside middle aged black women. Black, white, hispanic, asian, no matter where the cameras looked they found the real America — a mixed up jumble of cultures and skin tones, but every single person UNITED as Americans. I fell in love with New York City that day.
My story is a little embarrassing as my days always went the same, I remember I was doing my housework while my son then 3 was watching cartoons my life was fine not a care in the world, while everyone else in America was scared and saddened I had no idea a plane had crashed into a building until my husband called me from work to ask if I had seen the plane crash and knew what had happened(why it crashed, because at that time he like most thought it was a accident) i said what are you talking about as I turned on the local channel and to my horror watched as everything started to unfold. When the second hit I was in tears , it got so bad at one time I had to walk away from the TV and went out on my patio and was crying, as I looked up there was my neighbor doing the same as me.Today I sat with my now 9 1/2 year old and we watched on fox the footage of that morning 7 years ago and I cried as if it was happening all over again.God Bless the U.S.
We will ‘get over it’ when they do what is right and do it perpetually!
We won’t ever ‘get in line’ just to go along and get along for the sake of party unity when the party is corrupt!
I just had a comic moment: These pundits all get made up for their gigs on TV. That includes lipstick! So they really are pigs wearing lipstick! (Matthews, Olberman, Carlson, etc………..)
#923 HENRI – last thread – I, too, originally sent Ms. Bosley a letter asking her to continue her support at the convention for Hillary – I also just sent her a thank you for doing so – she did mention UNDER GREAT PRESSURE to switch – is there anyway that you could see if she would volunteer what pressure was given and by whom to switch her vote over from Hillary to HIM???
I also remember that awful day when so many people in NYC with their signs looking for their loved ones and not knowing if they are dead or alive. I remember all the brave people who love their neighbors, love their country and putting their life on the line in doing so. At night in CT, I could only hear the sounds of helicopters overhead. Sounded like a war zone. But all of us Pumas should never forget what we are fighting for; Democracy.
I felt the same way. I was very proud of New York but also of America. Everyone was united and contributed in what ever way they could. There were no racial divides. There were no party divisions, and there were no gender divides. I wish Americans would wise up and be that way every day instead of just during a catastrophe. It reminds me of funerals in the way that family that have not seen each other in years will come together for a death but never see each other during the good times. It is sad but a reality.
#26Missy: I did not know that about Fowler’s husband.
Thanks for sharing it…The only way “divine intervention” has had any play in the actions of the Democratic Party theatre this year is the “Deus ex machina’ ending that inserted the fraud in place of the heroine!
I know exactly where I would put this guy and her when the next hurricane comes by: on the first step of the seawall at Lake Ponchatrain ,measuring by the rise of the water going up his sleze legs how long it might be before he starts praying for mercy. Jerks.
On this day, may the grace of the good God preserve our country and deliver us all from amoral frauds, radical socialists, and sexists Wart Hogs, who run as the Democratic Party candidate for President.
Does everyone remember that cartoonist’s picture of Uncle Sam carrying the firefighter that looked just like the real picture of the fire fighter carrying the little girl from the Ok . bombing ? I can’t even talk about that picture without crying ..
My sympathies go out to NYCgirl. Losing a mother is very difficult. I had that experience myself. There are no words that one can say that will take away the pain.
I have already researched that. You have to read the rest of what he said. He was talking about if Muslims were singled out like the Japanese were during war time that he would stand by them. He didn’t want the American Muslims to be treated like the Japanese were. I can’t stand Obama and sure don’t want to defend him, but in this case what he said was twisted.”
Personally, I dont think anything was twisted, you tend to forget Obama sees things differently than others, he sees through different eyes and views, and let’s not forget America was under attack by the Japanese as well, Pearl Harbor, yes, that tends to make Americans during those times afraid…one must understand the circumstances and the times. His views are twisted, period.
sherry from downstairs can you send that video to Hannity? It is remarkable and thank you for sharing God Bless America and may he keep us from harms way from All that feel otherwise.
I will write to her and ask. If we can get her to tell us how it was done and by whom, we might be able to gain a great deal on insight into the situation. I will write to her today. This is what I wrote to her last night:
Thank you so very much for answering. And thank you so very much more for following your convictions and your obligations and voting for Hillary. I will always hold you in very high esteem for doing so. I am a life long democrat, and have voted democratic beginning in 1972 as a college freshman. Never have I been so frustrated with my party.
I am very concerned for our country. We have two political parties that appear to answer to no one and are able to circumvent laws, their own rules, and common decency. I have come to see both parties as quasi subversive groups that have the same effect as a semi terrorist group that has infiltrated our nation. Like warring gangs, they fight each other both inside and outside government.
We desperately need a viable third or even fourth party. The problem is that most of the alternate parties are headed by one radical individual or a group of radicals. They are not well funded, and have no chance of being a player in our process.
I am hopeful that the delegates who were harassed and badgered like you were will come out of the shadows and either force significant reforms in the DNC, or form a new party with a better structure and a centrist philosophy. There are enough dissatisfied people in both parties out here to make it happen. If we build a party from the ruins of the old, only taking the best with us, we can make it happen. If we build it, they will come.
Mr. Obama and his overwrought irrational backers in the current democratic party are anything but democratic. They frighten me to the depths of my soul. I have decided not to vote for him. I will save my vote on the top of the ticket, or possibly vote for Nader. But if it looks like Obama has even a slim chance of winning in my state, I will be forced to do the unthinkable, and vote for McCain. I don’t like his policies, but I am not afraid of him.
I don’t have any evidence of coercion of the delegates, of vote buying, of cheating (in caucuses) race baiting, or gender bashing in the republican half of the primary. Evidence of these crimes and more is rife in our own party. Any candidate who would allow him/herself to benefit from this kind of thing, or heaven forbid, participate in it, is not capable of running a straightforward and upright administration.
Since I am convinced that Mr. Obama did participate in this mess, and obviously benefited from it, I could not trust him with my precious country. He and his cronies, including Dean, Pelosi, and Kennedy, have stripped the democracy out of the democratic party. At the very least, Mr. McCain is an honorable man who, I believe, will do his best to take care of us in an honorable way.
Again, thank you for your service. You cannot possibly know how much I admire you and how much I wish you well.
Keeping the faith that our democracy will survive…
And this is her response:
Thanks for your letter. I too am frustrated. However, I will keep working within the party to change things.
Something I like to share on every 9/11 is a rememberance of what happened to us as a nation 7 years ago. It is a powerful reminder that we need seem to need as the time from that fateful day passes out of our collective memories.
This was put together by a very talented and wonderful woman from the Netherlands, Patries de Jong. I have had the honor and pleasure of corresponding with Patries in the past, and consider her a dear friend. She was so moved by the events of 9/11, that she not only created the presentation you are about to see, but co-founded a Foundation called the Fallen Heroes Foundation for those firefighters that lost their lives on 9/11, and those firefighters that lose their lives protecting our lives and homes as part of their everyday mission.
Please take a few minutes to view this stirring presentation. And never forget.
MydearNYC: I pray for you and your family, today and always. I am very sorry that you lost your mama. May her spirit coninue to sustain you and your great, grand passion for the truth. ” Eternal rest grant unto her,Oh Lord, and may Perpetual Light shine upon her.”
Hi Pumas,
Wanted to let you know of a conference call the CentralNJ Pumas are having with those from RealDemocrats.com on Monday the 15th at 7pm. All are welcome to join. If you are interested please email Tesstown@aol.com for call in details.
Heneri – nice letter – Kentuckians are strong willed and will not be reduced to being told what to do especially if they know it is wrong – that is why I suggested you contact her back – I, am talking with another Kentucky delegate as well trying to get her to give me more information –
I wonder if any of them know about the Berg lawsuit – might just send her something on it as well.
Keep up the good work – always enjoy your letters -you have a wonderful talent.
Two years before I had attended a week-long workshop “interpersonal” retreat. My assigned “buddy” was one of the neatest young men I had ever met. He had so reminded me of a brother I had lost years before.
He had just gotten a new job as a broker and was leaving for New York after the retreat. We stayed in touch. I remember the day he called to tell me he was hired by another company located at the top of the World Trade Center- me afraid of heights and he loving the thought of “having a view of the world everyday.”
I talked to him twice after that, the last time about four months before 9/11. He described his office view and talked about how the goals, dreams and plans he had defined in the workshop were all coming true.
That morning, when I turned on the TV and saw the building and the smoke, I knew the first one was his building. Like an idiot, I tried to call his office – as if I was ‘witnessing’ it just happening and wanting to tell him to get out! With each shot of the building I was trying to count the floors from the top down – my heart sinking, with each minute, realizing he was in the area where the plane hit.
Later that evening, I tried to call his cell phone, then home. I kept trying for two weeks – hoping he was not in the building that day. I finally saw his name “confirmed.”
From the retreat, I had come to know every dream he had for his whole life. That’s what I think about. How many good people, with dreams and plans – and him wanting to use his success to make a difference for others – even in countries like Iraq. Stupid, stupid, stupid hate.
I think you misunderstood what I was saying. The rumors are that he said that if it came to choosing between Muslim and Americans that he would choose Muslim in a time of war. That was not what he said with that quote. It was taken out of context.
The truth is that if you look at what Rev. Wright and that Unity church believes in you will see that they believe that Africa is their homeland and they will always put it first over America. Since Obama was a member for twenty years then he must believe it too. They believe in Black Theology. If you google Black Theology you will see that it is very scary but very real just like the KKK.
So as you see…I do agree with you on his views being twisted but we need to use the facts against him in order to keep credibility.
Murphy: Your lipstick boy ..up top…now that is a mama’s boy for sure…He probably has several shades of lipstick in his shaving kit…Excellent choice! Lipstick Twit!
Thank you for the link to the Blood of Heroes video…
…an excellent reminder.
At the request of his mother, President Bush carries the shield of one of my High School claasmates:
George Howard, a Port Authority Policeman who, although off-duty, headed straight to the WTC the minute he heard that there was trouble. He died attempting to assist others. I am still in awe of his courage and humbled by his selfless dedication to duty.
Missouri Rep. Russ Carnahan, appearing at a speech by Democratic vice
presidential nominee Joe Biden, said that Palin is “someone with zero experience

Pumas I am talking with a man thats on youtube who has started his own Radio station. He is interested with information on Obama about his citizenship.Could some one please put the info back up and the web pages on the law suit and caucus fraud. I will seen this info to him.
JUST MAYBE HE WILL SPREAD THE WORD!!
Democratic Congressman Russ Carnahan on Tuesday – introducing Joe Biden at a campaign event – ripped into Palin’s record and punctuated it with this snarky jab. “There’s no way you can dress up that record, even with a lot of lipstick,” he said.

Mama-I sent all my emails.
Once again-she fought the good fight.
Clinton’s Fight for First Responders of 9/11
On September 12, 2001, Senator Clinton arrived at Ground Zero. She stood in the rubble, shoulder to shoulder with firemen, police officers, steel workers, construction workers, and EMTS. Alarmed about the toxic cloud looming above the Financial District, she immediately began to ask questions. The EPA misled the public: the air was safe to breath.
For the next 7 years, Senator Clinton continued asking questions, held hearings, demanded answers and wrote legislation for investigations into health care problems for the citizens of New York. A steady number of deaths and serious health problems have arisen in people whom lived or worked near Ground Zero at the time of the attacks and in those of who aided in the rescue efforts.
On September 12, 2001, Senator Clinton committed herself to those people. She stood by them and continues to fight hard:
We are proud to see how we all Americans UNITED when the enemies os democracy tried to destroy our country. But I can not feel the same pride these days when I see how Barack Hussein Obama has DIVIDED this great country at a time in which we were supposed to feel happy to see the country take the right path. What a contrast !! We don’t need a terrorist atack to unite again, but we need to send him a clear message that this country won’t tremble in front of such divider !! It is time that we all tell him ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !
And let’s not forget Obama’s “pastor” (who Obama calls his “mentor”) said America deserved this and it was “America’s chickens coming home to roost”.
No Obama
The following three excerpts are from the ABC News exclusive interview with Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in Fairbanks, Alaska, conducted by “World News” anchor Charlie Gibson on September 11, 2008
My God, this woman is Sharp.
Her answers are more thought out and intelligent than his questions, and she is shooting from the hip and without a teleprompter. Charlie has had time to think about what questions he wanted to ask, and she is proving too much of a challenge for him.

Tucker would look better in burnt orange, that woulds seal his stupid lips. It boggles my mind the idiots who spout trash all day and the people who listen to them. I rarely listen to men blab! The money they make with their BS is astounding, men are the BS experts of the WORLD!
Hey shampoovta — long time no see!
Morning all, This is a very sad day in our American History!! God Bless all that lost loved one on that terrible day.
Tucker looks good with lipstick…very becomming…NOT
good mourning to you , too shampoovta..and to all of us..Americans we loved and people who love us and all people world wide who lost loved ones and friends..
vadaryl – on the ‘granted’ those are the papers he filed this morning . The judge has to sign them before they are actually “granted” .
now, now HP Boston, no male bashing here at Puma PAC.
It IS remarkable though how MUCH MONEY they make for SO LITTLE valuable output.
Not all men of course — most are just working to pay the bills and keep it together, but sheesh, those jokers on TV are overpaid.
Murphy – That was what I proposed was the situation with Biden testing the waters with his whole ” Hillary would have been the better choice ” …. HMMMM – Brilliant minds
LOL
7 TexasTigress – don’t think it will hold up though if it says Sep 31st?!?
MURPHY
I go with your theory, BUT not before they destroy Palin.
SHE WAS THE ONE NO ONE WAS EXPECTING!
Carrie just got off the phone with berg , maybe she should call him back on that 31st. thing …
Just call me Patriotic and Proud to be American! and to be able to live free and in America..The greatest place on Earth!!
AMEN #15 Sunshinelvr!!!
I’m crying again…
love your visual , Murphy.Couldn’t have picked a better person. (even though there is a “gaggle ” of them that you show!)
* could –could show..
Good Morning y’all,
You need to watch this. It brought tears to my eyes

Murphy I bash I trash, they are the ONES that brought us 9/11…………
We have our wonderful heros who fought and I like to dwell on….LET’S ROLL!
:hugs: to everyone ..wanted to see if this would work as a group hug
MSNBC is replaying their broadcast from the morning of 9/11 in real time .. Both towers are on fire now .
Good Morning PUMAs
This is a sacred day of remembrance and we should stop and send out our best grace to those who lost loved ones on 9/11.
We should also cherish this day and live it to the fullest.
We should also rededicate ourselves to our work as PUMAs. We are the good guys.
Yesterday Murphy sent you 2 prowls. Make sure that you do both of them!!!
Mama
Brilliant Murphy!
How did you ever match lipstick to Tucker’s bow tie, that had to be a challenge all by itself. (I didn’t know lipstick came in Bow Tie red!)
Another year for a 9/11 Memorial. So sad and so unnecessary.. prayers and heartfelt sympathy to all.
PD
9/11 was the end of America as we knew it. I remember it well. We were glued to the tv and tears rolling down our faces. At the time we were doing the best we had ever done. We weren’t rich but had everything we needed and then some. We had a thriving business and had a solid future before us. We gave to the victims that day until it hurt. I remembered praying for them and for our country. On that day we no longer took anything for granted. Our business went bankrupt and our dreams went up in smoke. We no longer felt secure and safe. It is a day that we will never forget and we still feel the pain everyday as we just struggle to survive.
Lipstick still made one Page one in NYC

Within an hour and a half , we had set up an emergency blood drive at the Union hall and everyone that could donated … I have never felt so helpless in my life …
In leiu of september 11, 2001 never forget this
… we can’t forget this quote from Obama’s book Audacity of Hope
“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
Whatever did he mean by that?
Obama is not legally African-American as he claims but Arab-American and Islam still considers him to be a Muslim. Surely Americans are entitled to take this into account when they are voting for the next President of America.
#31 Asian4Hillary,
Your post is very touching. I know that this day must be especially hard for those that knew the victims personally. I didn’t know anyone that was there but as I posted above…Everyone was affected by this tragedy and America has never been the same since.
#33 sistermoon3 – love ya , but that is a misquote . It is not a good idea to spread those quotes . ((()))
#33 sistermoon3,
I have already researched that.

THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP – SENT MY THANK YOU EMAIL.
Murphy #4
Remember S. T.
And I continue my fantasy……………………….
PUMAS TO THE POLLS!
Go PUMA!
Morning PUMAs!
God Bless America!
#3 & #8, Agreed the MSM talking heads make way to much money also I love maleness and most men are great people.
33 sistermoon3
I agree 100%!
It CAN happen here..I hope that all Americans be on their guard and do not be swayed by pretty words and empty promises.
hmm..
first: GET OVER IT
then: ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT
now: LIPSTICK ON PIGS
hmmm..
I will KICK B*TTs that nobama on Nov 4

#50 mlhath on 09.11.08 at 9:57 am
I know how you feel. I’m crying here. I will never forget 9/11 as long as I live.
The ship’s motto? ‘Never Forget’
In Rememberance of September 11, 2001, the day that changed America forever.
An unprovoked attack on innocent people in The Twin Towers, The Pentagon and Air Planes….
God Bless Their Souls!
NONE OF US WILL EVER FORGET 9/11, IT WAS A TRAGEDY OF MASS PROPORTIONS.
WE ALL CRIED AND PRAYED AND THEN STOOD UNITED AND STRONGER.
NO ONE SCREWS WITH THE USOFA!
GOD BLESS AMERICA AND GOD BLESS ALL OF THOSE SOULS LOST ON THAT FATEFUL DAY.
COUNTRY BEFORE PARTY
I have to go to work now. The kids at the high school are going to talk about 911 in the class rooms today. Many were to young to remember. It is always like this I guess. All threw out history. The pain and shock fade. We for get. This must be how my grand parents got threw Pearl Harbor. Man,.. how will these kids be tested? What event will unite them in a painful memory? That is a hectic thought.
911 changed the way I looked at every thing. They have grown up with in this change.
What will come next? Can we make it positive?
It is a hell of a lot to think about.
see ya latter.
And I just want to add;
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

COUNTRY BEFORE PARTY
——————————
Amen to that!
I’d also like to mention that our good friend and brave Puma NYCgirl lost her mother on Sunday.
NYCgirl is the one who organized Puma PAC’s very first public demonstration in Manhattan way way back in June. She was very brave — a true New Yorker.
Most sincere and deep sympathy from all of Puma PAC to NYCgirl and her family today.
#59 murphy ,
I felt the same way.

?#33 sistermoon3,
I have already researched that.

Good morning to this wonderful community.

I remember that day, also.
#72 sistermoon3 ,
I agree with you that Obama’s views are twisted.

This is a sad and sorrowful day in america. I totally agree but my thought is that.
9/11 was a terrorist attack and to this day we do not have the answers of all of the questions that we have concerning BO.

presidential nominee Joe Biden, said that Palin is “someone with zero experience

Today is a very important day — we can feel it in the air.
Take it upstairs!
NYC girl
I am so sorry for your loss. Last night I spoke about the death of my Mother and got so much support. We now have another “angel puma”.
Email prowl done!
And let’s not forget Obama’s “pastor” (who Obama calls his “mentor”) said America deserved this and it was “America’s chickens coming home to roost”.
No Obama

My God, this woman is Sharp.
Her answers are more thought out and intelligent than his questions, and she is shooting from the hip and without a teleprompter. Charlie has had time to think about what questions he wanted to ask, and she is proving too much of a challenge for him.
