Okay, Folks — time to buck up. I read several critical comments today and received in email many suggestions and exhortations to make the site better and the blog more focused and effective.
Agreed.
The assignment for tonight is for us all to WORK TOGETHER to improve our ACTION CENTER. We need more and better links. To media outlets, government and public officials, government resource sites, etc. To Puma youtubes and good Puma blogs and websites. To Pumas In the News and Facts About Caucus Fraud. To instances of Sexist Onslaught to Instances of Voter Intimidation and Suppression.
We also need new flyers. The ones we have are EXCELLENT, but many are dated by being pre-Convention. Fire up Photoshop and Adobe and let’s make some new ones! How about a flyer explaining WHY Puma PAC is Protesting the Election to hand out and mail to undecideds in Swing States? What about a DONC TOP 5, listing the 5 worst debacles carried out by the DONC this year? How about a “Good Democrats Don’t Let Friends Vote Obama” ?
We also need a Puma with blogging software experience to contact me at murphy@pumapac.org to help with making the blog more streamlined and to add more features and widgets.
We also need a Puma with fundraising and organizing experience to email me at murphy@pumapac.org to help us set up Puma Parties in September and October.
Let’s stop telling each other what to do and start DOING.

If everyone just holds on for a bit, we’ll be fine. Denver just happened and for those who were there, I know you came home in pain. Those of us who didn’t go held out some hope that we’d see all of you marching through a big old cloud of dust with Hillary on your shoulders as our nominee. That didn’t happen.
We just had a shock to our systems with a terrific showing at the RNC by Governor Palin, and some of us were lovestruck for a time. We are dealing with a lot of emotion, mostly frustration that goes back to the Iowa caucus and everything thereafter.
I’m pretty sure that all of us did something to help our cause. The fact that so far it hasn’t been enough to change the lineup for November is sad, but nothing to be ashamed of.
I have learned something from every one of you, even if it was just how not to speak to/treat someone. I have gotten to enjoy a lot of your posts and some of you always put a smile on my face or a warm feeling in my heart.
Work it out, work it through, come back if you still believe in PUMA. God knows I do.

Murphy – I don’t know how to add this to the ActionCenter, but it might be helpful.
To find newspapers in a state, I use Dogpile as a search engine, enter the state and newspapers, i.e. Utah newspapers. You have to find the email address that has “50 states” in it and then open it. It will have links to all of the newspapers in that state. I collect the email addresses and create a database. Then you can just copy and paste to send.
I thought maybe this might help some folks.

this is in response to all comments regarding ferraro and other DEMOCRATS who were so strong for Hillary. These people will be our allies, just not right now. That’s the way it works. As one friend told me, the lonliest place in D.C. is to be the candidate and candidate’s organizers/leaders after losing the presidency. All of those people get put out of power after a loss. Everyone.
I think that all the people we saw as absolute bull dogs for Senator Clinton are going to come on board to the Democratic Party. When I personally know one person who was a member of the DNC and who got a phone call from Hillary at the convention asking them to vote for Obama, I can only imagine the pressure that her staunchest allies must be under. We are NOT going to see a traditional national leader just go all out and say I’m not voting Democratic even though I’m a Democrat. Ain’t going to happen. I’ve been so downtrodden and so disappointed and so angry, that I think we just have to let that stuff roll off our backs and keep going.
I write all the time to various people in high positions. I don’t expect to hear back from them anything like “wow, you’re amazing and I support you all the way.” But I hope, somewhere, in the silent rebellion of say, Terry McAuliffe’s heart, he or whomever reads his official email, get a little warmth for my stance.
AS we all know from various campaigns, especially HRC’s campaign, it’s easy to get caught up in the minor details in the moment. You’re in the middle of it and then you go have a conversation with someone outside who looks at you like you landed from a different planet. You wonder, where have they been. Why is this not reaching them. That’s how it has to be for these national leaders. I think when they hear from us, even if they NEVER respond, because they can’t, that they KNOW people watched, people saw what happened and people will remember and hopefully those people will rally again for Hillary.
So, it’s okay what Ferraro said. Otherwise, she’d be dismissed as a bitter old woman. So, let it go, doesn’t matter.

One thing I would suggest is we should do some education regarding Roe v Wade considering the Dems have decided to use it against women. If it is overturned abortion will not become illegal. It just means there will be no federal laws and that all abortion laws need to come from the states. In many states the laws are already in place and NOTHING would change.

Murphy, what Diva 2 is suggesting is a FORUM and not a thread! you can find ways to make a forum for free. A forum allows you to create topics, appoint administrators and allow people to post under a topic or create a new topic under various headings. You can allow an open or closed registration. I will look into a server that gives this for free for you.

“MY 10 MILE TRIP TO A FOREIGN LAND” (Attended a local McCain event)
Well, this was definitely an experience. I took my daughter since my husband is out of town and didn’t want to waste money on a sitter for something like this and as it was at 7pm I thought, I could bring her and still get her home by 9pm.
Anyway, we get there and it was absolutely PACKED! They said it was twice the amount of people they anticipated. You could hardly move and weaving your way around the room was a major challenge. Had to be well over 200 people. There was no charge, they had an open bar and some cheese and veggies. They just wanted everyone to “sign in” so they have your contact info and email address, etc. Fair enough…
Contentwise, there was not much, just a few delegates who were at the convention and described the energy and the determination to make Jersey a red state this year. Some speaking were up for local election.
What was most interesting were the people. I realized that although I am most likely voting for McCain because I believe he is real and that he truly will be the maverick we desperately need in Washington, I am SO NOT A REPUBLICAN. I felt like a fish out of water, a stranger in a strnage land. Don’t get me wrong, they were all very nice. But they were not me. It’s hard to explain without sounding prejudice. They didn’t look like me, dress like me. Despite there friendliness, there was a slight harshness to them. It seemed like there was a suble veneer, especially on the women’s perfectly made up faces and sharp attire, pearls included. I suppose just like the hard left, there is the hard right and BOTH are a little scary.
It was endearing how they wanted to fight for McCain. He is a good man, and must defeat Obama if we can’t have our Hillary. But it is hard for me to relate to people who seem to lack the deep level of compassion for the underpriveldged. Case in point, when a speaker ran through some of McCain’s policies, the biggest applause were for those that involved tax cuts, whereas pindrop was heard when giving healthcare relief to families was mentioned. When the topic of Global warming was brought up and what McCain plans to do to combat this, one man actually said, “that’s the bad part.” Yikes! They also mentioned two names in the audience that were, watch out…Democrats! They received a huge round of applause for coming over to the other side. I dared not raise my hand.
When it was over, I approached a man in a suit who worked for the McCain campaign (business card and all) and told him I was a staunch Hillary supporter but now leaning towards McCain (should have said I was a puma). Anyway, I asked him if he could clarify a very important topic for me. I asked him if it was true that Sarah Palin (who by the way, received deafening applause tonight whenever her name was mentioned) opposes Equal Pay for Equal Work. I said in this day in age how does anybody oppose that, especially a woman! He said he never heard that before but didn’t just want to give me an answer he wanted me to hear. So he gave me his card and asked me to email him the question and he would definitely get someone to answer it for me. I asked this because I heard the following from a Deomcratic Strategist on Fox “Once woman find out that Palin is not for equal pay for equal work, they will never vote for her.” That could be a deal breaker for
me…
I left with mixed feelings. On one hand I was thrilled there were so many supporters there and on the other hand I was glad to get back to my own planet.

Today, my heart is filled with a sadness, at the same time my mind feels relief. I have been absolutely thrilled to be a part of PUMA since it began. I felt like I was actually DOING something when I donated, and participated in the prowls. I absolutely adored Murphy~~~to me, she was a female version of Crazy Horse, who was not only a fierce warrior, but was also a very revered holy man among my people.
Today, I am sad because, while I still revere Tashunka Witko, I no longer feel that way toward Murphy.
There does exist a tight little clique on this blog. We are free to express our opinions, only with their approval. Yesterday, I made a very simple, innocent statement of fact~~~that the population of the US is only 13% black so that even though some have made this race about ‘race’ it’s not a huge threat.
Because anitfish and Billi-jo didn’t understand, I was the victim of harsh and unwarranted critcism. Subsequently, because U refused to bow to the powers that be (the clique) I was sent to the dungeon. The first time that happened to me, I was wrong. And I made a heartfelt public apology to the PUMA blog.
But this time, my only crime was to disagree with a couple of the ‘favored ones’ and I refuse to bow to their bigotry.
So, this morning I sent a fax to cancel my request to be a Poll Watcher. I also sent faxes to the Washington State Attorney General, the Washington State Secretary of State, and to the US Department of Justice cancelling the prowl over Obama’s birth certificate. I said that I am no longer a member of the group known as PUMA. In my community, my name is well-known and I am regarded as an informed, empathetic, compassionate woman, with a passion for passion that sometimes boils over at injustices. I no longer want my name associated with PUMA. (I might feel differently if women like ladyhawkke and kellig formed a splinter action group)
I join the growing number of others that have left….asian4hillary,Trish,KendalBlue,Sheila7, etc. etc.

In her senior thesis at Princeton , Michele Obama, the wife of Barack Obama

Moreover, she stated that whites in America were ‘ineradicably racist’. The
1985 thesis, titled ‘Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community’ was
written under her maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson.
Michelle Obama stated in her thesis that to ‘Whites at Princeton , it often
seems as if, to them, she will always be Black first..’ However, it was reported
by a fellow black classmate, ‘If those ‘Whites at Princeton ‘ really saw Michelle
as one who always would ‘be Black first,’ it seems that she gave them that
impression’.
Most alarming is Michele Obama’s use of the terms ‘separationist’ and
‘integrationist’ when describing the views of black people.
Mrs. Obama clearly identifies herself with a ‘separationist’ view of race.
‘By actually working with the Black lower class or within their communities as
a result of their ideologies, a separationist may better understand the desperation
of their situation and feel more hopeless about a resolution as opposed to an
integrationist who is ignorant to their plight.’
Obama writes that the path she chose by attending Princeton would likely lead to
her ‘further integration and/or assimilation into a white cultural and social structure
that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full
participant.’
Michele Obama clearly has a chip on her shoulder.
Not only does she see separate black and white societies in America , but
she elevates black over white in her world.
Here is another passage that is uncomfortable and ominous in meaning:
‘There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black
community, I am obligated to this community and will utilize
all of my present and future resources to benefit the black
community first and foremost.’
What is Michelle Obama planning to do with her future resources if she’s first
lady that will elevate black over white in America ?
The following passage appears to be a call to arms for affirmative action
policies that could be the hallmark of an Obama administration.
‘Predominately white universities like Princeton are socially and academically
designed to cater to the needs of the white students comprising the bulk of
their enrollments.’
The conclusion of her thesis is alarming.
Michelle Obama’s poll of black alumni concludes that other black students
at Princeton do not share her obsession with blackness. But rather than
celebrate, she is horrified that black alumni identify with our common
American culture more than they value the color of their skin. ‘I hoped that
these findings would help me conclude that despite the high degree of
identification with whites as a result of the educational and occupational
path that black Princeton alumni follow, the alumni would still maintain a
certain level of identification with the black community. However, these
findings do not support this possibility.’
Is it no wonder that most black alumni ignored her racist questionnaire?
Only 89 students responded out of 400 who were asked for input.
Michelle Obama does not look into a crowd of Obama supporters and see
Americans. She sees black people and white people eternally conflicted
with one another.
The thesis provides a trove of Mrs. Obama’s thoughts and
world view seen through a race-based prism. This is a very
divisive view for a potential first lady that would do untold
damage to race relations in this country in a Barack Obama
administration.
Michelle Obama’s intellectually refined racism should give all
Americans pause for deep concern.
Now maybe she’s changed, but she sure sounds like someone with an axe to
grind with America . Will the press let Michelle get a free pass over her obviously
racist comment about American whites? I am sure that it will.

Clinton visited Florida last month in Palm Beach and Broward counties. This time around she will be campaigning in Kissimmee before speaking at the All Peoples Live Center at 6105 East Sligh Avenue in Tampa. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public but the campaign says tickets are required. They can be picked up this weekend at Campaign for Change Offices at 817 East Washington Street and 14519 North 18th Street in Tampa. Ticket distribution will be from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m.-9 p.m. on Sunday at each office.

I suggest that you create a Youtube channel so that all videos can be uploaded and relocated to one spot and then people can go there to see all the videos instead of searching links, Youtube, etc…also, people can subscribe to the channel. The only potential downside is that it will bring high visibility, but it’s not like anyone who’s looking can’t find us now.
After that is set up, you can post a Youtube link at the top of this page. I would suggest another link to archive documents, photos, and other type of media. You can just call it Media if necessary. Or…. Evidence? We need to post things like the article regarding Brazile’s involvement with Rove, etc….and yes people, I know it’s a dense article, but that’s how this stuff gets pulled over on us. Wouldn’t it be nice to mock Nancy Pelosi by giving the “other side” info. The lobbyist said that this was the easiest way to get results. The DEMOCRATS won’t want the REPUBLICANS to know about their problems within their own party.

Someone told me that you wondered if there were really any women out there who were going to vote for Hillary Clinton & are now going to vote for McCain. Personally speaking, I’d never vote for McCain, but I like him a LOT better than Obama, and what’s more, that fact alone helps me to understand why so MANY women on the blog I frequent – PUMA’s blog – _are_ going to vote for him.
Just what is it that is preventing me from voting for Obama? Let me count the ways.
Even “if” I could overlook:
* his shady Chicago politics
* the Rezko scandal

* the blatant racism and sexism of his pastor(s)
* his vote for FISA. No red-blooded Democrat would -ever- vote for FISA. Hillary didn’t!
… I could not, would not, overlook the Caucus Fraud that STOLE the nomination from the more qualified candidate.
…I could not, would not, overlook the gender bias demonstrated by BOTH mainstream media, and the leaders of my (former) party.
Isn’t that sad? I’m a former Precinct Worker for the Democratic Party!
BTW, PUMA’s now boycott CNN, Air America, and msnbc.

I am here to tell you, I will never, ever vote for Barack Obama. He is the antithesis of the woman’s movement.

31st, I would never have imagined writing a blog, being interviewed on Cable News or meeting with Senator John McCain – but here I am.
Anyone reading this blog is familiar with my now-legendary YouTube video (here and here) where I exploded at the DNC and vowed to support Senator McCain – so I’ll spare you the rehashing of my story.
My vow has not changed and my beliefs have not waivered. Although the YouTube incident was somewhat unpleasant, I feel lucky to have the opportunity and platform to continue to speak up about the disingenuousness and overall political mischief perpetrated by the Democratic Party, most especially the misogynistic tactics that they exploited and employed this campaign season.
One of the most reprehensible characters in this fiasco has and continues to be Nancy Pelosi.
To get started – I would like to discuss the comments made yesterday by Nancy Pelosi on the topic of sexism and misogyny. Speaker Pelosi said she wanted to know more facts before she made a final pronouncement about sexism and the Clinton candidacy. “I myself find that I get a tremendous upside from being a woman and I don’t spend a lot of time worrying about the sexist remarks that people make.” What an amazingly pompous, completely disconnected statement. I guess we can be thankful that she didn’t finish it off with “let them eat cake!”
Maybe in Nancy Pelosi’s rarefied life of wealth and power that were either inherited by her politically influential family or her husband – she doesn’t understand what sexism is. If Nancy feels there’s an upside to being a woman maybe that’s why she doesn’t want more women in powerful positions because that would diminish hers. Nancy Pelosi likes being a part of the old boys club instead of working to get rid of the old boys clubs so all Americans can have equal access to better positions.
Coupled with her ignorance or, rather, refusal to see the truth (subjective ignorance I guess), Ms. Pelosi also abused her power in the nomination process by favoring Mr. Obama. Admitting there was sexism would only prove that Ms. Pelosi was part of the process to nominate the weaker candidate. I’ve lived through the more inexperienced man getting the better jobs over and over again, however, the promotions were usually given by men – I find it more offensive when women participate in this behavior against other women.
Do we really need to rerun through the castration remarks, cackling, claws out comments or painful deconstruction of an honest, choked up moment to get a validation of the rampant sexism? Or will the new Democratic Party just start marketing a Nancy Pelosi stripper pole to compliment her upside of sexism viewpoint now that the Hillary Clinton Nutcracker has served its purpose?
I’ve read some articles over the past couple of days saying that PUMA voters and women in general – will fall in line and vote for Senator Obama in November. These articles use examples from previous elections to prove that party loyalists will vote with the party after the anger from a long primary fades.
I work as a waitress and most of my customers (women and men alike) feel the sexism was so obvious that they will either not vote or they will vote for McCain. I don’t think the political pundits who predict voters coming back to the Democratic Party realize the severity of this problem.

I know where Southington is, I have friend who lives near there. I was wondering if we could get some people in the New England area and perhaps do a party or if BO or McCain ever campaign up here we could plan something jointly. How do you feel about your state and it’s leanings? NH has been cited as a swing state; VT is hopelessly far left; it will surely go for BO. I’d rather concentrate my efforts in larger states that could go either way.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has been subjected to an intense amount of media and public scrutiny since she was named as John McCain’s vice presidential pick one week ago. Many of the attacks have come in the form of unconfirmed reports on the Internet. Among them:
1) Palin “Joined a Secessionist Political Party”
The Charge: Unsubstantiated Internet reports insisted Palin was once a member of the Alaska Independence Party, which critics call a secessionist political movement and supporters say is dedicated to seeking greater state control over federal lands across Alaska.
The Facts: Palin has been a registered Republican since 1982. There is no record of her ever being a member of the AIP, or any party but the GOP. Palin’s husband has been a member of the AIP in the past, but since 2002 has been a registered independent.

2) Palin Supported a “Nazi Sympathizer”
The Charge: “Palin was a supporter of Pat Buchanan, a right-winger or, as many Jews call him: a Nazi sympathizer,” Obama Florida spokesman Mark Bubriski was quoted as saying in a Miami Herald article.
The Facts: While mayor of Wasilla, Palin wore a Buchanan button during the sometimes presidential candidate’s 1999 visit. But Palin actually supported Steve Forbes in 2000, and served as a co-chair on his Alaska campaign.
In the weeks after the 1999 report of her wearing the Buchanan button, Palin said: “When presidential candidates visit our community, I am always happy to meet them. I’ll even put on their button when handed one as a polite gesture of respect. … The article may have left your readers with the perception that I am endorsing this candidate, as opposed to welcoming his visit to Wasilla.”

3) Palin “Wants Creationism Taught in School”
The Charge: Palin opposes the teaching of evolution, and would mandate the teaching of creationism in the state’s public schools.
The Facts: Palin said during her 2006 gubernatorial campaign that she would not push the state Board of Education to add creation-based alternatives to the state’s required curriculum, or look for creationism advocates when she appointed board members. She has kept this pledge, according to the Associated Press.
Palin has spoken in favor of classroom discussions of creationism, in some cases. “I don’t think there should be a prohibition against debate if it comes up in class. It doesn’t have to be part of the curriculum,” Palin told the Anchorage Daily News in a 2006 interview.

4) Palin “Was Nearly Recalled” While Mayor
The Charge: Palin was so controversial as mayor of Wasilla that she was almost recalled by a popular voter movement.
The Facts: The Wasilla City Council considered but never took up a recall motion after she fired a longtime police chief, who subsequently brought a lawsuit. A citizen’s group dropped their recall bid, and a judge ruled Palin had the authority to fire the chief.

5) Palin “Opposes Sex Education”
The Charge: Palin opponents say she supported the end of all sex education in public schools. In light of her daughter’s presumably unplanned teen pregnancy, this has been a particularly well discussed Internet topic.
The Facts: “The explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support,” Palin wrote in a 2006 questionnaire distributed among gubernatorial candidates. Palin favors abstinence-based sex education programs.

6) “This Picture Proves Palin is …”
The Charge: A slew of fake, Photoshopped or misdated photographs on the Internet purport to show Palin in any number of embarrassing or compromising poses. One photo claimed to show Palin standing poolside, wearing an American flag-themed bikini, toting a rifle with telescopic sight.
The Facts: The various photos are being discredited and shown to be fake on a number of Web sites. The original of the so-called bikini shot, probably the best-known of the pictures, was shown to have been taken of another woman, with Palin’s head Photoshopped above the body.

7) Palin is the grandmother, and not the mother, of Trig Palin
The Charge: The most salacious rumor of all, this theory holds that Palin did not give birth to her son Trig in April, and was actually covering up for her daughter, Bristol.
The Facts: There are a number of photographs showing an apparently pregnant Sarah Palin, as well as a number of published eyewitness accounts of her pregnancy. These include First Lady Laura Bush, who says she spoke with a pregnant Palin at a governor’s conference in February. An assignment manager for KTVA news in Anchorage, Cherie Shirey, has also been quoted saying: “We worked with Governor Palin many times in 2008. Our reporters worked her on location and in the studio and I worked with her myself. She was definitely pregnant. You could see it in her belly and her face. The whole idea that Sarah Palin wasn’t pregnant with Trig is completely, absolutely absurd.”
The McCain campaign, in an apparent effort to counteract the rumors, announced last weekend that Bristol Palin is five months pregnant, which indicated she would have become pregnant before Trig was born.

I am going to sound crude now, but we are in an emergency situation. Polls are tight and we do not know how it will end, we do know what we don’t want for our country and that is OBAMA!
So, IMHO, again, Hillary is not the issue right now, it is OUR COUNTRY AND THE DANGER IT FACES IF OBAMA IS ELECTED!
What I mean with this comment, is that Hillary is going on her path to defend her Party. She made that choice and she is right because it means her political career. I hope she makes it big in the future. But NOW, present time, we are against the Democratic (????) Party because of everything we know they did wrong. So, let’s not get mad at Hillary or fight amongst ourselves because of her or anybody else, let’s work against Obama. I am not pushing to vote for anyone, just work against him and his election.

Anyway, I asked him if he could clarify a very important topic for me. I asked him if it was true that Sarah Palin (who by the way, received deafening applause tonight whenever her name was mentioned) opposes Equal Pay for Equal Work. I said in this day in age how does anybody oppose that, especially a woman! He said he never heard that before but didn’t just want to give me an answer he wanted me to hear. So he gave me his card and asked me to email him the question and he would definitely get someone to answer it for me. We have had an Equal Pay Act since 1963 signed into law by President Kennedy. It may need some updating.

In all this time Hillary has never attacked us. She knows we are her loyal base. Thanks Sandipuma, I was surprised he actually gave us some helpful feedback. It is a starting point and I think when I write a short letter to these websites I will also save and use it to send to the media. Maybe then the letters will be taken more seriously. As with anything, I am sure they get a ton of crackpot emails right now and who knows what it takes to have them actually take it seriously.

Seems as though many have seen this for months, I just found it last night and have talked to some PUMAs that seem to take it very seriously. Berg did not give me the impression it was just smear reporting. He told us to keep going. From what PUMAs have told me, Rowe planned to get Hillary out, she was a real political threat, then the money set up from all the different creep plus Repubs cross voting over to Obama was to get Hillary out….more stuff in there. Bottom line, at some point Obama really wanted to win and Rowe is now in trouble of loosing to Democrats. Lots of criminal behavior about Bo in there too. I saw Obama giving a speech in Pennsylvania. He doesn’t get the crowds, he doesn’t get the applause.
The sit and listen pretty silently. He was begging them to vote for him. He danced all around handgun control.
Then he stopped short of endorsing clean coal, because we don’t have the technology. He blamed the bush admin. but the facts are that the subsidies to oil companies have been going into research for clean coal for the last 10 yrs. They say they’re getting close to a solution for capturing carbon.

Muslims around the world would overwhelmingly see Obama’s conversion to Christianity not as a case of “irtidah” (apostasy), but as a case of “taqqiyah” (deception), where Obama pretends to have become a Christian in order to advance the cause of Islam by way of his political career in the U.S.
If Obama were truly a Muslim believer or sympathizer who aspires to the highest office in the U.S., his outwardly conversion to Christianity would fully conform to the principle of “taqqiyah”. In fact as a “Trojan Horse” candidate, he would be specifically expected to disguise himself as such. In this context, Muslim leaders would not only fully understand Obama’s outwardly conversion, but would also consider him an Islamic hero for doing so in the cause of Islam.
It is important to note that the sincerity of Obama’s conversion to Christianity can never be proven, and the possibility that he remains a true believer or sympathizer as to the Islamic cause who is practicing the technique of “taqqiyah”, is still a real risk that cannot be discounted.
In this context, one should also not overlook the close relationship and mutual admiration between Black Muslim leader Louis Farrakhan and Pastor Wright, Obama’s spiritual mentor. ( or of Obama’s written admiration of Malcolm X and the derision he voiced in
writing in his bookfor never being able to get rid of his white blood)

There’s good news on that front. Obama’s ambitious ‘50 State’ strategy is rapidly contracting as he cedes more and more states to McCain:

Ads have now been pulled from Georgia, and the purported ‘map changing’ of Obama is being further exposed as the lie it has always been.
And Palin has only just come on the scene to steal votes from Obama bin Biden.

- The race will come down, very likely, to OH, MI, and PA
- The only 2 states that BHO may pick up from Kerry (252 EV’s in 2004) are IA & NM. That would give him 264 EV’s, and give McCain 274.
McCain = president.
If McCain wins either MI or PA, he almost certainly will be the next President.
So, what do we have to do?
1. Pound MI, PA and OH. Volunteer, write local papers Letters to the Editor, etc. Drive to these states and help canvas. Anything.
2. Help prevent ACORN-led voter fraud. There are already reports of an Obama scheme to ship IL voters in to OH to vote on Election Day, similar to busing that took place in the Democratic primaries. Help shut this down, and not just in OH. If you see suspect voter registration taking place, report it. If you can volunteer to be trained to help prevent voting fraud on or before Election Day, do it.
On junk sites like 538 dot com, you will hear utter crap about how everything has to break just so for McCain to win.

Right now, McCain is poised to win. Forget about the national number. State to state, he is set to win the EV contest. If the election were held today, McCain would be the President. Again, BHO would only, for sure, pick up IA. He would likely pick up NM. He would probably win MI and might win PA.
And he would still lose, with 264 EV’s.
This is one reason the Palin pick was so good. First, consolidate your base. After that, start picking off Indys and female voters, bit by bit, state by state. This is how to do it.
We are in the perfect position to win this election. Things could not be better. There’s still plenty to be done, but right now everything is set-up for Mr. Illegitimate to be defeated, along with the corrupt DNC. And then we can take the party back that was stolen from our majority.
It is all right there for us. Go out, embrace the McCain/Palin ticket — if only to help us clean out the infected DNC — and help bring this victory home.

CNN’s Campbell Brown interviewed Palin’s main campaign adviser yesterday. She was on a vendetta to make a fool out of him. She kept hammering at him about Palin’s Commander In Chief experience claims. She was essentially calling them a liar about Palin’s role in Commanding the Alaska National Guard.
She was RUDELY insistent that the Governor was just a figure head, not a Commander, for the State National Guard. She said the President managed them.
Of course, she is wrong. The only time the President calls the shots is when the Guard is called up for National deployment.
95% of the Guards purpose is the State’s needs. The Governor manages everything from traing, equipment, all budgetary roles, and deployment within the State. Palin had JUST deployed a group to help with Gustev in LA. Bush had NO role in the deployment of the troops, or equipment.
Brown was trying to smear and belittle Palin in the interview. As though a woman and mother of five can’t Command the State NG!
This P.O.d McCain off and he canceled his interview on Larry King.
Good for him!
At least McCain is taking up for his running mate, not with just words, but actions. Unlike Obama and his MSM supporters.

Obama has no friends who have spoken up for him outside of the political arena. This is very disturbing to me and has been throughout the campaign. These patterns of behavior are significant,but, you know, nobody wants to hear about these red flags. Personally, I don’t take much into what Ferraro is saying, the timing, her lack of enthusiasm and the fact that she has said for months that no one would know who she was going to vote for, leads me to question whether she really will vote for BO come November. I’ve been talking to quite a few retirees in Tamarac and Margate, they’ve been following closely along what’s been going on.
They feel a kinship with Hillary, calling her their “girl”.
They have cable, CNN etc., they’re aware.
Would not vote for Mr. No up to about a month ago but lately some local democrats have been getting to them.
Lately I’m hearing something like “well, he is a democrat, blah blah blah”.
It’s a very organized force and it is frightening.
It’s got to be uprooted from the base I think and that’s the DNC, or……. hopefully this lawsuit will bring it all to light.
The republicans I think will wait until the end of October to bring on all their ammunition so we won’t have time to reorganize and bring on Hillary.

Good morning my PUMA family !! Are we going to allow *61 to use Hillary to fight Palin? We should do something and start sending Hillary and the media messages regarding this new miserable political strategy. I would not be able to stand seeing Hillary saying negative things to Palin, especially after all she was put through. It was hard enough to me to see Hillary at the DNC ask that the roll call be stopped, and to proclaim *61 the nominee, she looked so different from the day she gave the speech. I hope she tight her pants and refuse to be used as a political dog to attack Sarah Palin. I know she would have to do something, but until when are we going to see Hillary kneel down to *61′s interests? I think everything in life has a limit, and the limit for her has come to stand up to the DNC and say NO, I WON”T DO THIS, I HAVE DONE MORE WHAT YOU DESERVE.
I wish she were coming to Miami, FL and not Tampa, I would be the first one waiting for the rally to begin to try to tell her not to commit any more political suicide. But I can’t miss work on Monday and Tampa is not so close to Miami.

I would think that contacting the Repub party or working with McCain/Palin groups in that state and providing them with proof of previous primary fraud (if they don’t already know about it) would be the way to go. Here is a list of states and their electoral votes. If you are going to pick states to concentrate on pick the ones with the most votes. The media is very East coast centric. Vermont, New Hampshire, Delaware, Rhode Island, really don’t matter, They have about the same influence as Wyoming, Alaska, Idaho, North Dakota and South Dakota. The media talks endlessly about them but forget them and try to turn the election in states who actually matter in the vote. Personally I think Washington could go McCain. Of course Seattle could not go for McCain and if that is where you take your survey your results will be distorted. We have a Dem governor who played some dirty tricks to get in office and her opposition will turn out to dump her and vote McCain in the process.
I am in full attack mode this morning.
I faxed and/or emailed a letter to every tv, radio, magazine, or major newspaper found on Fair’s Contact list. I have received several acknowledgements of receipt. My letter pointed out the lack of coverage of the Breakfast roll call vote and the Berg vs. Obama civil action.
I also received an email back from a Salt Lake Tribune Reporter who is a Dem Exec, stating the roll call vote
on the floor and who voted for Hillary and who voted for Obie. I emailed back and explained that I wanted to Breakfast vote as I originally requested. I will contact the ones who voted for Hillary and see what I can find out.
I also received several emails from Obie’s group condeming McCain and Palin. I can’t repeat my replies on this blog. They were not particularly pleasant.
And I must have P****ssd of someone as my computer was hacked again this morning, but I restored to yesterday and now it’s fine.
Oh, it’s a beautiful day in Utah!!!! I don’t intend to let up until November. Obie’s group will be so busy, from coast to coast, responding that they will be going in circles.

What short memories we have…a few years back Islam promised to have their flag over our white house.
.Still calling Obama an african American..why ? He is Arab. You would think to look back at history..the black people were slaves of Islam first !! Where slavery began. “Taqqiyah” is a technique of deception practiced by believing Muslims in order to advance the cause of Islam. It is part of the Jihad strategy based on deceiving unbelievers by any means. Thus exercising “taqqiyah” is considered pious behavior.
Muslims around the world would overwhelmingly see Obama’s conversion to Christianity not as a case of “irtidah” (apostasy), but as a case of “taqqiyah” (deception), where Obama pretends to have become a Christian in order to advance the cause of Islam by way of his political career in the U.S.
If Obama were truly a Muslim believer or sympathizer who aspires to the highest office in the U.S., his outwardly conversion to Christianity would fully conform to the principle of “taqqiyah”. In fact as a “Trojan Horse” candidate, he would be specifically expected to disguise himself as such. In this context, Muslim leaders would not only fully understand Obama’s outwardly conversion, but would also consider him aN Islamic hero for doing so in the cause of Islam.
It is important to note that the sincerity of Obama’s conversion to Christianity can never be proven, and the possibility that he remains a true believer or sympathizer as to the Islamic cause who is practicing the technique of “taqqiyah”, is still a real risk that cannot be discounted.
In this context, one should also not overlook the close relationship and mutual admiration between Black Muslim leader Louis Farrakhan and Pastor Wright, Obama’s spiritual mentor,(and Michelle’s and Obama’s

3. Discussions are great, but don’t waste your time arguing about Palin. I have it in close confidence Palin showed up in this election as a MAJOR consciousness-raiser. This whole primary has been a time of learning about racism, and sexism. It is not time for the latter part of the lesson to be learned.

Clearly the Dems are outraged at Palin being the VP nominee because they think the Dems are the party with a corner on the women’s vote and they are going to have to give up that little charade which is evidently very important to them. Women are not some insignificant little minority we are 52% of the population. When you lose much of their vote you’d be a fool not to be scared to death.
I have been gone for a couple days to a funeral in Ohio. On my way home yesterday, I passed a Chevy Suburban (ms?) on Interstate 77/south, on the back window, it said NOBAMA and underneath that, it said McCain/Palin. I pulled up beside of it, there was a lady driving and I tooted the horn and gave her a thumbs up. She cracked up laughing. My point, wonder if she was a PUMA????

this is in response to all comments regarding ferraro and other DEMOCRATS who were so strong for Hillary. These people will be our allies, just not right now. That’s the way it works. As one friend told me, the lonliest place in D.C. is to be the candidate and candidate’s organizers/leaders after losing the presidency. All of those people get put out of power after a loss. Everyone.
I think that all the people we saw as absolute bull dogs for Senator Clinton are going to come on board to the Democratic Party. When I personally know one person who was a member of the DNC and who got a phone call from Hillary at the convention asking them to vote for Obama, I can only imagine the pressure that her staunchest allies must be under. We are NOT going to see a traditional national leader just go all out and say I’m not voting Democratic even though I’m a Democrat. Ain’t going to happen. I’ve been so downtrodden and so disappointed and so angry, that I think we just have to let that stuff roll off our backs and keep going.
I write all the time to various people in high positions. I don’t expect to hear back from them anything like “wow, you’re amazing and I support you all the way.” But I hope, somewhere, in the silent rebellion of say, Terry McAuliffe’s heart, he or whomever reads his official email, get a little warmth for my stance.
AS we all know from various campaigns, especially HRC’s campaign, it’s easy to get caught up in the minor details in the moment. You’re in the middle of it and then you go have a conversation with someone outside who looks at you like you landed from a different planet. You wonder, where have they been. Why is this not reaching them. That’s how it has to be for these national leaders. I think when they hear from us, even if they NEVER respond, because they can’t, that they KNOW people watched, people saw what happened and people will remember and hopefully those people will rally again for Hillary.
So, it’s okay what Ferraro said. Otherwise, she’d be dismissed as a bitter old woman. So, let it go, doesn’t matter.

c4hill You are losing the battle when you act as if all Republicans are evil or stupid or dangerous or bad. Perhaps if you grow up in a area where you have never met a real live Republican these characterizations will sell. But most people and probably all Independents have known many good Republicans and a few bad Democrats. It is not black and white.
Hillary is a centrist with experience, McCain is a centrist with experience. Obama is not a centrist and does not have enough experience. I don’t care about Roe v Wade. First of all I will not be needing an abortion. Second if it is overturned tomorrow it will make zero difference in my ability to get an abortion. That is because my state has strong abortion laws. I do not believe that a womans right to abortion is the most important right for women. I believe the right to a non sexist MSM with real consumer rights and the right for a woman to run for office without being mocked with sexist slurs by her own party as Hillary was are far more important. For that reason I will not be voting for Democrats until I believe their purge of sexism is complete. I went to a small state run university.

I woke up this morning to a brochure stuck in my front door from the O campaign. It’s called his story is our story. An American story. It is pitiful. I surely did not sit in Rev Wrights church and listen to hate spewing from his mouth for 20 years. I did not get involved with the kind of deals that he was involved in with Rezko and Ayers. To me that is not an American experience. I’m in Iowa and that sure is not the American experience. I think I will send him a letter and his brochure telling him that. Lol.
I guess Boy Scouts and VFW people in Denver found thousands of flags discarded from Invesco Field in garbage bags and are going to tell about it at McCain’s rally in Colorado Springs today and then hand them out to the people there. Disrespect for our flag sounds like something the O would do. Shameful!

I just caught up on the blog this am. About 50% of the posts were this c4Hill person arguing with PUMAs and bashing Palin and distracting everyone from what we should be doing and talking about.
Maybe this c4Hill person was a Hillary supporter but obviously they have transformed over to the bots side and instead of working towards keeping bozo out of the white house and fighting the corrupt DNC, their goal is to promote strife on the blog. Sounds like a familiar tactic.

Everyone is saying, we have to get on board because fundamentally we agree with Nobama. Well we don’t agree with Obama. I wrote in one response:

We need to make sure that in public responses to this election, we frame this as a protest to the internal politics and process that the DNC used to select their candidate rather than just an all out anger over Clinton having the nomination stolen from her.
