Nielsen just released its ratings for Day 3 of the GOP convention. Some highlights:
The Sara Palin speech generated 37.2 million viewers, just a 1.1 million viewers short of Barak Obama’s record-breaking speech on Day 4 of the Democratic Convention. The Palin speech was carried on only six networks while the Obama speech was carried on ten (including BET, TV One, Univision and Telemundo).
Palin attracted a large female audience (19.5 million women, or 4.9 million more than Day 3 of the Democratic Convention).
Ratings for viewers 55+ (25.2) continue to be about ten times higher than for teens (2.2)
Day 3 for the GOP attracted more Hispanic viewers (1.4 million) than Day 3 of the Democratic Convention (1.2 million), even though Univision and Telemundo did not carry the speech.

I watched the interview with BO on O’Reilly. Comparing BO and Hillary on O’Reilly my take is that BO was very uncomfortable judging from his body language as compared to Hillary who was confident, comfortable in her own skin, tough, and who used great humor. BO kept saying “ideologically speaking” which says to me he doesn’t have a clue. I give BO a D-.

If McCain is ahead in the polls in your state by 10 or more points at election day: Vote third party. If it looks close, consider putting him over the top with your vote.

This speech, for me, is why I want to see the Democrats maintain control of House and Senate. this speech is why I want HRC as senate Majority leader. I don’t feel bad about just not voting for BO rather than straight up voting for McCain because in Tennessee they are going to need every vote they can get to try and make some case that there are Tennessee Democrats. It’s just as bad for the Democrats nationally for me to not vote BO than if I cast a vote for McCain because there will be thousands and thousands and thousands in tennessee to carry that vote for McCain. Between Fred Thompson giving the voice over for McCain and Marsha Blackburn and Fred Thompson speaking tonight of all nights, Tennessee has been solidly put in the red column so the Democrats would just want my vote to add to their totals to try and make some kind of case about Democrats residing in Tennessee.
Every person, every PUMA is going to have to make his/her own decision about what to do based on his/her own convictions, strategy within his/her respective state, and personal concerns leading into the election.
As of right now, I will be writing in Senator Clinton’s name. However, my continuing official public statement is that I’m voting present.

I thought John McCain ROCKED. He was honest and authentic. He wrote that speech and it was his heart. I am NOT in love with him, but I love the sentiment he expressed.
First, he LOVES THIS COUNTRY. Contrast that with BO.
Second, he LOVES ALL AMERICANS. Ditto
Third, he wants to SERVE and PROTECT. Ditto
Fourth, he thinks a lot is WRONG in WA and wants to Change it. AND he spelled it out. Ditto
Fifth, I think he is honest. Ditto
Sixth, and this point made me cry, he said he would never quit. This is HILLARY’s point, and I when he said it I knew he said it for her. When he said that he would be appointing Dems, Repubs and Independents to key positions I know HILLARY will get a position befitting her. Compared to BO there is nothing more to say.
The Republicans have shown more class, more openess, and more appreciation of women SPECIFICALLY Hillary Clinton than the Dems. This speaks volumes to me.
BO and the DONC are the rapist, they raped Hillary and when they did that they raped all women AND all voters who cast their vote for her. I will NOT allow them to get away scott free. If BO wins, they will NEVER be punished. They will win, and WE will lose.
I challenge all good Pumas to think about this, and do what is in your heart. I am reminded tonight of how the Republicans rejected John McCain for Bush in 2000. How foolish they were! McCain was a centrist leaning right then, just as Hillary is a centrist leaning left. Just a couple of thoughts before I retire. The blog is inundated with praise for McCain/Palin. While there is nothing really wrong with that, we are Democrats and they are Republicans. Though many here, like myself, lean to the center on some issues, we must not forget that on most, we are diametrically opposed.
Let us not confuse our disgust and disdain for the Democratic party in its current form with admiration for the Republicans. There is little there to admire.
Understandably, many of us are left feeling lost and disillusioned after the fiasco in Denver. This is a time of transition where we each of us must decide where we’ll be going forward. What we do not have to do right now, is make a McCain/Palin decision.
In political time, the election is still a lifetime away. Let’s not be distracted and get back to our Puma goals. We have a lot of work to do and a cupcake to squash.

You are not alone in your predicament. I am a Democrat down to my bones. I have suffered through two stolen Presidential elections, I have carried the burden of being “unpatriotic” for opposing the war from the start, and withstood EIGHT years of torment watching the environment, health care and the economy all teetering on the brink. There were moments when I was sure I would implode if I heard him say “nuc-u-lar” one more time. ALL this, just to get to this moment – for what??
I cannot, will not vote Republican. I so angry with the Obama/DNC ticket who have repeatedly thumbed their noses at voters like me. And I’m not the type of person who just lets the chips fall where they may.

This is not a pro-McCain blog. We have consistently said that we are NOBAMA and that each person will have to do what they feel they need to do to ensure Nobama ’08.
McCain will win my state by 15-20 points. Im not afraid of anything weird happening. Since 2000, Tennessee has only increased it’s Republican numbers while Democrats have remained the same or slid backwards.
I do not have the energy, passion, drive, motivation, time, or care to go campaign for McCain anywhere, period. Not now, not ever. Besides, he has all the help he needs without me. I have walked away from local and statewide seats because of this election and used my position to make public statements in the media (prior to and after resignation) against the party for what they did during this election. It is absurd to expect Democrats to move over to Republicans, if they just can’t, when those Democrats cannot move from Hillary to Obama because they just can’t.

I can certainly see where geography may play a role in our decisions. For instance, if you are in a always red or always blue state, third parties are an excellent option. However if you are in a swing state and it looks close, you of course have to do what you are comfortable with, but it does get a bit trickier.

Basically what has happened is that the blog is full of posters and if two try to post at the same time, it overloads.
Maybe we need a little election knowledge on here. For those who may not understand how the electorial college and national voting works in the United States, it works like this:
We all go to the polls on the constitutional election day which is the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. Everyone casts a vote for president. However, your vote is put with all the rest of the votes in your state. The ticket that receives the most votes gets all of the electorial votes from your state. The total number of electorial votes equals all of the representatives plus the 2 senators. So, it is winner take all of electorial votes. So, it really does matter where you live and what the context and strategy of voting is. For some people like me, I DO NOT have to vote for a Republican in order to vote against a Democrat because thousands of Republicans will get out their own base and give hundreds of thousands of votes to John McCain.
In other states, people may be forced to make different choices based on the dynamics of their state.
But, I will emphatically state I am a Democrat. I am a NOBAMA voter in 08. I will not give to or vote for the McCain or Obama campaigns this year.
I expect respect to be given to all on this blog because this is going to be a personal decision for every member of PUMA and we have to believe that he or she is doing what he or she feels is the best for themselves, and against obama. There is no right answer on this one, because there is not a candidate to vote for or work for on this one.

I will always be for Hillary-first and foremost. I believe in her and what she stands for, but I also know (have accepted, that is) she will not be on the ticket in 2008. Therefore, we must work with that reality. Yes, she would be a great Majority Leader-no doubt about it. I certainly hope and have every faith that her role will expand in due time.
However, right now we only have two choices-McCain or Nobama, and most unfortunately that is not likely to change for the November 2008 election. The press seems to be heavily biased toward Obama and that’s an understatement. For the life of me I can’t understand why-Hillary inspires me (she always has), I cried listening to Palin and McCain because I was so moved by their commitment and sincerity and their obvious love for this country. Personally I was flat out bored by Obama’s so called great acceptance speech and uttered a thank you God when it was over. I just don’t get it-what is the great fascination with this man? I really wish someone could explain it to me.
Taking my chances with McCain is not easy, but if he could survive the Hanoi Hilton, I can survive 4 years of McCain in the WH. I’m getting old, I might die before I get to see Hillary in the WH.

I believe that if McCain becomes president and is successfull in reforming the corruption in the Republican party, It will open the doors for Hillary to do the same for the Democratic partyin 2012. I will be waiting for that race. For me ending corruption in goverment is my main issue.

Antifish and Murphy: Compared to what the Democratic Party has done, what it has given us this cycle, what it has taken away from each and every one of us, what it has proposed in the person of fraud, incompetent Obama, I in fact do admire the results of the Republican Primary and the selection of John McCain as a candidate. Republicans clearly indicated by that choice that they also want something more from their party than what has been given for years. That party has a chance to reclaim a balance lost almost 20 years ago. The so called traditional Democratic party no longer exists; it has reached the far limits of the collective mentality and is now in the hands of radical socialists. No one represents us anymore there.
If we are to reconfigure my party, it will first of all demand the rejection of Obama, obviously. I will continue to Stand Up and Fight…nothing is inevitable in America..I will Stand Up and Fight to retain a semblance of a country I can even recognize. John McCain and Sarah Palin will reform what they can reform and I may or may not like other things they do, but there is no question that the alternative is absolutely a danger to the nature of this republic.
The Republican candidate this year represents someone and somethings I do admire and frankly the fact that this emanates from them makes not one iota of difference to me. The Democratic Party and its candidate must go down in this election. If we don’t get this election right, thoughts of Hillary and 2012 are irrelevant and fantasy. Im deeply disappointed for this entire election this year, I’m very angry with my party.
Now, the national conventions are all over and i have to get re-focused on my issues and re-focused on my life.

I explain to my children why I vote as I do. I want them to make responsible choices also. I may not have been all excited about McCain, but for their sake, and the sake of the country, I can never go down as a person who made it possible for Obama to win. I will go down fighting his bid for President on every message board, and in every conversation, and especially when I vote for the ticket that can defeat him.
Seems hard to believe that less than a year ago I was fine with Obama being President. Now I cannot do enough to stop him.
My mother started up on Obama, we had not seen each other for three years. I still had to speak my piece. She got mad, yelled, left the room. She even called me a racist because that was the only reason she could see why I wouldn’t vote for Obama. I sat there. She eventually came back and we spoke about the things we can agree on. But she managed to get in her digs all weekend. Some people just cannot see beyond the speech.
Once you see it, it is not like you can pretend that you haven’t seen the attempt to take down not only Hillary, but women, democracy, this country.

I kind of like Rush’s theory. But I’m in the minority because I still think something about Obama will come out to take him out of the running…that would leave Hillary on the top of the ticket, a nice thought if there ever was one.

Where did you see that someone gave Mac 85mil? I saw that BO collected 10 mil after Palin’s speech. I thought that was odd, but then he always tries to oneup everyone.
I thought Nobama’s Greek Columns were pretty ridiculous looking, and my husband said he looked like some pretty notorious former dictators with them as a backdrop. I thought John McCain’s stage was a striking contrast, and I’ve not heard any comments regarding it so far. He went down the stage to connect with the people he wants to serve, and in doing so he appeared small compared to the giant American flag behind him. I think that speaks volumns about the real mission of each man. I hope people will come to recognize the true leadership of John McCain, and begin to question the real agenda of Nobama.

Palin recently said that the war in Iraq is “God’s task.” She’s even admitted she hasn’t thought about the war much—just last year she was quoted saying, “I’ve been so focused on state government, I haven’t really focused much on the war in Iraq.” 1, 2
Palin has actively sought the support of the fringe Alaska Independence Party. Six months ago, Palin told members of the group—who advocate for a vote on secession from the union—to “keep up the good work” and “wished the party luck on what she called its ‘inspiring convention.’” 3
Palin wants to teach creationism in public schools. She hasn’t made clear whether she thinks evolution is a fact.4
Palin doesn’t believe that humans contribute to global warming. Speaking about climate change, she said, “I’m not one though who would attribute it to being manmade.” 5
Palin has close ties to Big Oil. Her inauguration was even sponsored by BP. 6
Palin is extremely anti-choice. She doesn’t even support abortion in the case of rape or incest. 7
Palin opposes comprehensive sex-ed in public schools. She’s said she will only support abstinence-only approaches. 8
As mayor, Palin tried to ban books from the library. Palin asked the library how she might go about banning books because some had inappropriate language in them—shocking the librarian, Mary Ellen Baker. According to Time, “news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire Baker for not giving “full support” to the mayor.” 9
She DID support the Bridge to Nowhere (before she opposed it). Palin claimed that she said “thanks, but no thanks” to the infamous Bridge to Nowhere. But in 2006, Palin supported the project repeatedly, saying that Alaska should take advantage of earmarks “while our congressional delegation is in a strong position to assist.” 10

Reference a Recent Article: If possible, it is best to include a reference to recent article that appeared in the newspaper you’ve selected and then write your letter as a response, building on what was printed or pointing out how your viewpoint isn’t included. This greatly increases the likelihood that your letter will be printed.
Include Your Contact Information: Most newspapers will only print a letter to the editor after calling the author to verify his or her identity and address. Newspapers will not give out that information and will usually only print your name and city should your letter be published.
Be Clear and Concise: Keep your letters brief and to the point. Newspaper editors often edit for length, so try to keep your letter to less than 200 words. The shorter it is, the more likely it will be printed.
State Your Point Early: Be sure to state your main point in the subject line and in the first sentence of the letter.
Keep to One Topic: Keep your letters focused on one subject.

I am having as little luck as you are in ObamaLand Cal. Ugh. I have not won over anyone yet at work. The best I have done is have two professors look at the caucus fraud website and listen. Others want to talk to me alone in their offices out of the ears of others but “…just can’t go there with their votes.” They think McCain is to frightening. I watched both Sarah Palin’s and John McCain’s speeches. They’re no Clintons, but they DO seem like two good, decent, dedicated, public servants, and I feel much better about them than I do Obama/Biden. I am sad that the DNC has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. I will cast my first vote in 30 years for any Republican ever for the McCain/Palin ticket. Hillary 2012! McCain speech comment…Obama’s speech was Hollywood glitzy, Palin’s speech was homemade American apple pie, and McCain’s was lackluster run of the mill. I was disappointed. Even tho the pundits kept emphasizing that speechifying is not his forte, still I expected better.

Who ever is writing it, that person seems very knowledgeable and it is logical. I keep waiting to find something I know isn’t true (I am not nearly imformed enough to know most of this) and so far, nothing sticks out as a lie. I will continue to read.

Pumas’ goal is to not hand O and the current DNC leaders control of this country in Nov. Our goal of “cleaning up” would NEVER be realized if they should win. And that is a fact you could take to the bank.
So first things first. I’m from Oregon, a state where if I vote for any third party or write in, my vote would be totally wasted–based on tallied voters’ percentages, my precious vote would automatically go to O and the DNC. So, I really only have one choice—I vote for McCain/Palin top of ticket. Done deal!
And just for the record here, this does not translate to me converting to Republican. There are too many policies and past positions I don’t buy in to.
But if McCain wins, I win, and ALL PUMAs win.

For a lot of us, it’s a way to bring our spirits up for something we can at least half-support again. The O alternative is too frightening. This doesn’t mean we’re all converting over to the Red side. It’s just a way to deal at this moment.

1. I am reading about Obama in Chicago, the slums, the exact stuff on the movie Murphy is making. I have not found one thing to be a lie so far, although a lot of it I am not a history buff on.
I will post it on the blog for others to read and Murphy and see what they think.
One thing I can say, this whole election has been so crazy, nothing has made sense as far as how elections go…this article does make sense.

509 BillieJo – I guess when the scenarios are unfurling in a chronological manner, it may not seem like such a convoluted scheme, but when it is documented in such a manner from start to end, then it does seem a bit of a thriller.
However, I also want to suggest that in hindsight (as this is written in the past tense) the details seem accurate because it is documenting a lot of what actually happened. Whether or not there were more intriguing morsels thrown into the article to make it more compelling and intriguing, who knows.
Personally – I can’t wait for Nov 4 to be over. Our lives have become so thick with political emotion, it is not even funny.

I agree that we all need to be able to come in here and express what we feel is OUR own path to the goal. Its great if someone comes on here and says I made my peace with how to vote and this is why.
I think the problem is when people start telling each other to suck it up and vote McCain, or that they are wasting their time doing anything else. It resounds in peoples ears much the same way it does when people say Pumas need to “get over it” and “sore losers”. Even the best of intentioned trying to explain to people why they need to suck it up or hold their noses and vote McCain can be frustrating and offensive in the same way.
We are all here for the same purpose, but we are all different. Just as someone on the blog would no more tell me I am going to hell if I don’t go to their church they should not tell me I am wasting my time if I don’t vote the way they feel is right.
We have no democratic candidate that any of us will back, so we all have to find our own way to the voting booth.

I will need to read it after I get some sleep…I went to the site when you all mentioned it..I have always had a big problem, not just in this election, but some previous ones, with the Democratic Party holding so called open primaries in some states….That idea developed when the Party wanted to entice more voters to consider voting Democratic candidates…but it offers the opportunity for Repubs and others to select our candidate…and on our nickel…This primary season revealed how this can just as easily be used against strong opposition…Obama used it that way…I have always resented allowing Independants and Republicans to vote in an primary election whose sole purpose was to select a Democratic candidate…among Democrats…This is an area that I believe should be a part of the reform of this party. I have posted half a dozen times that if Obama loses, 3/4 of our battles will be won. We could then hammer home our grieviences at our leisure and it would be most effective.
So if we want to make our work easy, there is only one thing to do – keep Obama out.
I wish there would be more proactive work in this respect. And less about divisive opinions and discussions about other peoples voting preferences. I am really confused if this is accurate, then if it’s a set up to get rid of Hillary because she is the strongest Democrat, put in the bought and paid for Obama as the person running against a Republican…so the Republican’s can win? It is hard for me to believe that Rowe would want Obama to win…how would that help his Republican party? But then again, putting in McCain is not the right wing, he is also seen as weak to many Repubs…so then you have the two weakest players running against eachother. Do ‘they’ tip the scales in McCain’s favor or Obamas. They did not count on PUMAs so that is a problem for them. I get the whole move on part. Maybe its because I didn’t stop being a kool aid drinker until well July. So I wasn’t as emotionally invested into Hillary’s campaign as most of us were. So speaking only for myself, the get over its and sore losers make me nuts. For me its about the truth.
I haven’t yet decided what to do with my vote. I can only decide for now what not to do with it. Most of the Pumas are great to just say how they feel about their votes, but their are times when it does feel like we have just shifted to doing nothing other than support McCain and those of us who are not voting Republican have to defend our right to our vote.
This is all just IMHO and I personally just try and do things that keep me feeling as though there are other things i can do to be focused and to fight against things I know are wrong.

That is what is eating away at me…this whole election has been (pardon the expression) a super mind f@ck. Nothing has made sense. Hanging chads and butterfly ballots are bad enough, but this election seems like we are just puppets with someone else pulling the strings. Hillary was a winner for the Democrats, maybe some did not want to see the Clintons in the Whitehouse, but to have everyone giving obie a free pass in everything, jokes about his being the ‘ONE’…really isn’t funny when you think of Americans acting like sheep following an unqualified candidate and not caring that they are all walking into a trap. I do not know how many watched BO on O’Reilly last night. I saw some dissappointed comments that Bill did not attack, but I think the interview was very revealing and BO is CREEPY. He absolutely refused to admit he was wrong about the surge. That is characteristic of the NARCISSIST. And he is very pro-Isalm, if not outright pro-terrorist. One of my brothers (a Republican) also expressed awareness how during the primaries, and especially the caucuses how large numbers of Republicans changed thier party affiliaiton for a day so they could vote Democrat for XO.

If The City Edition conspiracy theory is correct, I believe that a McCain vote is more essential than ever. It is clear from the primary fiasco, that democracy is being hijacked from within. Whether or not the theories presented here are actually to blame for that remains to be seen. It is definitely believable. What is clear is that we need to CLEAN house in Washington. McCain was not the expected front runner in the republican race and Palin was certainly not the expected VP pick. The venomous DNC anger against them leads me to believe they are an unexpected kink in the master plan. McCain/Palin at least talk about fighting corruption and have some strong evidence that they really will back it up with action. Palin stood up against corruption in her own party and won on the state level! It’s getting easier and easier to vote for this woman. Historically, women have been kept in the “house cleaning” role for a LONG time…. it’s about time we got the chance to take it to a whole new level!

Why do we never see them sing the “Star Bangled Banner”? Or even the Pledge of Allegiance? Why don’t they ever show respect for the veterans of foreign wars? Yes, they may not agree with the wars, but is is so bad to honor those who are sent in? McCain’s Speech was hard hitting & dynamo! My thoughts on not being able to cast a protest vote based on economy/reproductive rights/party platforms etc:
All those things are VERY important, and must be addressed. HOWEVER, this election is not your average election. If I could use a health care analogy (since that’s my chosen profession), Democracy in this country is on life support right now. The economy and women’s rights and all those other issues are simply being used as tools to control and manipulate the voting public. Voting or not voting, based on party platforms for those issues, is like spending time and energy trying to cure a skin rash on a dying patient who is fighting for the next breath. You must get the patient’s vital organs and life support systems functioning again before you worry about the peripheral details. IMHO this is a fight for the survival of democracy. Not a fight for party platforms.

Just logged on and am reading through the posts. Read this article. I guess I’ve always thought that we are pawns and that it never really mattered who we voted for…lots of people have that attitude which is why voter turn out has always been low.
I also heard snippets of this during the primaries – that the republicans were flooding the caucuses to get BO elected and help defeat Clinton who as we all know would have won in the GE.
There probably is truth to it and quite frankly, to me it looked like Hillary and Bill had a gun to their heads at the convention; they sounded and acted more like prisoners giving non verbal signals of their plight (the orange pantsuit for example) while they spoke the words they were forced to speak.
Maybe what we really need in this country is a real revolution and start from scratch. Fighting the corruption from inside which is too pervaisive and entrenched will never work. But Americans aren’t inclined to revolution, so long as their lives are kept comfortable.

I feel the same way. We need to vote for McCain to keep Obama out of the White House. Yesterday we were told when we voiced our support for McCcain that this is not a McCain blog. I don’t understand the logic of leaving the top of the ticket blank and then voting dems down the ticket. How the heck can the Democratic Party be reformed if Obama is President? That means Dean, Reid, Pelosi, Brazille will still be in charge and who will listen to us then? All I can say is that the Obama supporters must be loving the idea of leaving the top of the ticket blank. With all the new voters he is recruiting, leaving it blank won’t do much. A vote for McCain will really hurt them. Some people here are treating McCain as if he’s just another Republican…he’s not. He’s worked with Democrats before. I’d take him anyday over Obama. Yesterday on the news it said Palin got 37 million viewers with six networks showing it. Obama had 38 million with TEN networks showing his speech. It would be great if she did get 40 million viewers. That shows people were very interested in what she had to say…on top of that Obama won’t like it that Palin got a bigger audience than him. What is interesting about the Rasmussen Tracking is that it only reflects one day or responses following Palin’s speech. That means there was a huge push back in numbers yesterday. Personally I am shocked that the gap closed by three points in one day. It will be very interesting to see what happens with Tomorrow and Sunday’s tracking poll results, when the full Palin effect is felt. As I stated before, the attacks on Palin will be 300% counterproductive. The more they attack her, the more every middle class family that is reflected in her own family, will feel as though it is an attack upon them. CNN has already started tauting Palin’s candidacy as reigniting the Culture Wars, yet it’s Obama’s campaign and the hatred of his supporters that want to reignite the culture wars and divide this country.

It is such a long article that most people don’t read it all the way through so there’s no reaction. Murphy, I do think mentioned it in one of her articles shortly after I sent it, but it never seems to go anywhere. You have to read the whole thing to get the full impact and most people won’t do that.

has anyone figured out how to UNregister from the DNC website? I stopped being interested in their newsletters once they kicked Hillary to the curb but I can’t seem to get rid of them. Once you unregister you have to have a 4 digit # from an email they send you. Well they either never send you the email or it comes 3 days later. I finally blocked them but I wanted to tell them why I no longer was interested in hearing from them.

I signed up to work at the polls on Nov. 4th, and I am bringing my video recorder and will call the cops if anyone harasses me if I can’t verify their name. We all need to sign up to work at the polls on election day.
Even though it will be harder for BO to cheat since it isn’t a caucus, voter harrassement went down Penn.
It started in Scranton, with a friend of a friend of mine, Roger. Roger worked the Scranton office for the Obama campaign. During the parade on Saint Patrick’s Day Weekend, he wanted a clean, friendly approach to the people of Northeast Pennsylvania. Instead, some folks, whom only identified themselves as “working for the Obama campaign” swooped in, usurped him, and took over, instructing supporters to “get in the face” of Clinton supporters, to “intimidate, insult, and keep them from the polls at all costs.
The actions of Obama supporters in Scranton were reported on by the local Tom Corbett radio show.

How many of those 19+ million that saw Palin’s speech are Oprah watchers? I thought Oprah was a savvy business woman. This too will backfire on Oprah and Nobama.
I will be out of the country on vacation for three wks, beginning the 26th of Sept. The only news channel I will be able to get will be CNN for the debates. I will have little computer access the first two wks, so I am hoping I can get some good info on the debates here. I will really, really miss FOX while I am gone.

demean her and pull her strings, because they are not up to the task themselves on taking on Senator M<Cain
and Governor Sarah Pallin.
Senator Clinton ,I would think needs a vacation after all
her travelling and speaking around the country.
She should take a month’s break and leave the failed
leadership and the selected nominee to their own devices , they showed contempt to the loyal voters as
well as to Hillary and they should be left “to stew in

Bill & Hillary have done what they could all these long years to wrestle the Dems to the center, where most of us live. They have championed us, not ‘the Party’. John McCain has fought the same fight to keep the Repubs in the center.
Now that ‘party’ is all that matters to the Dems. Does BO expect to be the President of the far left or of all of us? He’s not speaking to anyone I know.
I really hope Hillary doesn’t lower herself to participate in trashing Sarah, after all the trashing she got this year.

I think it was a message to women, John has no intention of challenging Roe Vs. Wade. When did you last see a Dem (other than Geraldine) go out and detail what they disagree with in their Partys platform, their freakin’ husbands platform!?

I started responding to their emails with “Unsubscribe me or I will sue you” in the Subject line and ‘Nobama” in the body of the email. They finally stopped sending them. Or maybe it’s because I blocked the Democratic Party email address. Either way, it seems to have worked. I haven’t gotten one from anyone connected with the party or the campaign for over a week now.
Pumas goal was to get true qualified democrats, that’s why McCain can help reach that – McCain is in a fight mood, fight for a better safer America? Can McCain become new Democrat? They all want to erase the party line this year…

I think MCCAIN has demonstrated he will walk across the isle and work together with anyone! MAN, him and Hillary could move some mountains! Obama is STILL the JOKE he always was, only difference is MORE of AMERICA is starting to see it! I feel wonderful about everything McCain said, and its OBVIOUS he is far from being the ELISTIST that Obama and his following is! THEY still talk her down on blogs, STILL are critical of her marriage and all the media and comedians are still making fun of Bill saying “I love you” during HRC’s speech, surely she will STOP doing their dirty work? I know that she has been promised relief of her campaign debts, but I KNOW BILL detests Barack Obama, and I still hear his words resonate: “people, this is a fairytale if I ever saw one”
