Were Your Delegates’ Votes Even Counted on August 27th?

I received this in email last night from a delegate I know and trust. I’ve removed the personal information. Please click on the links to visit the website thegreenpapers.com (it is quite a fascinating site, and worth a few minutes of prowling around — I found myself hooked).

FROM One Democratic Hillary Delegate To Another on 9/2/08:

“Found a tally of votes on this site. http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P08/D.phtml     – It appears every vote was in fact not counted. Can’t find anything on DNCC or Alice Germond related sites. What BS. So 18 million votes and what gets recorded is 341.5 delegates??? I’m just glad I’m one of them [State Name], but I’d be really angry if I wasn’t…”

FROM my delegate friend To ME at murphy@pumampac.org later that day:

“Hello: The Green Papers are a very well respected source of non-partisan information on the political process in each state in the US. It includes information on the results of elections, as well as the recent total vote tally at the Democratic National Convention. After all *4,000* Obama and Clinton delegates voted at breakfast last Wednesday morning, press the link below to see just how many votes the Democratic National Committee actually recorded. Most of you will be amazed that your votes were not counted, at least if you voted for Senator Hillary Clinton. You see, the Democratic National Committee did not want the nation to see how close the election actually was, so we voted at breakfast, they tallied the votes, saw how close the race was, and decided they would not add most state’s votes to the official tally. Folks, wake up, this is supposed to be a Democracy. And, this is the party that people want to elect their next president from. If I had the time to tell you about all of the fraud that went on at the convention, you would not have the time to read about all of it. I do not say to vote for the Republican or Democratic Party. At this point, aware that both parties play the same game, I have decided I cannot, in good conscience, vote for either party. To think, they actually had a seminar at the convention called, ” How to be a Practicing Jew and be a Good Democrat.” Click the link to see if your vote was counted, oh, go ahead now, take a look: http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P08/D.phtml

…snip…

This is exactly what we were trying to avoid by having the petition for a floor vote. This is what I got into the disagreement with my [state's] Whip over. Gloria Allred was handing out the petitions to get a vote on the floor and Chris Lavery, who I had a run in with when volunteering for Hillary months earlier, came over to me and intimidated me by saying, ”You realize you are an At-Large delegate for Hillary and Hillary does not want people to sign this. This would be an embarrassment to Hillary.” Later, in a message to my facebook account, Chris told me “he would remember what I had done” basically telling me I would never get an at-large delegate slot again for Hillary. I told him I could care less because politics was not my life and I was there to represent the public and to stand up for the constitution. Check out the bottom of the site, but I will say you will never know how each individual voted. Those sign in sheets/tally sheets have been expunged. I’m sure.”

You can probably imagine what today’s Prowl is Puma PAC. Let’s try to Recreate 8-two-seven-08 shall we?

Call and fax your State Party Chair and ask him or her for the breakdown of the breakfast vote for your state on August 27th. And if they tell you they don’t have the information, ask them — WHY NOT?

Please post in comments any response you receive. We are especially interested in first-hand accounts from delegates of intimidation and bullying. You can send me anything private at murphy@pumapac.org and I pledge to keep the information anonymous for those delegates who still feel intimidated.

There will be a more detailed PROWL in your email boxes later this morning.

Oh, and read LadyBoomerNYC at Riverdaughter’s place for even more details.

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS! JOIN PUMA PAC HERE!

If the big-shots at the DONC and the Obama Movement thought Puma PAC was going away to sulk or to conveniently turn into Republicans, they should think again. We will be here EVERY DAY in the Democratic Party, until Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, and Donna Brazile ARE OUT OF THEIR JOBS and until Barack Obama is BACK IN CHICAGO where he belongs.

Please contribute to our cause HERE today if you can, and THANK you.

And, A heads-up to Republican interlopers: Puma PAC is a Democratic Party political action committee. We welcome all Democrats and Independents who want to be part of the Voice of the Voters in the Democratic Party. We will NOT be voting for Barack Obama on November 4th because we are PROTESTING the ELECTION. But that doesn’t suddenly make us Republicans. We are still pro-choice, pro-equal-rights for women, LGBT, and people of color, pro sex-ed and pro-science. We like gay marriage. We like labor unions a lot. We like hippies and anti-war protesters. We like immigrants — in fact many of our most passionate and effective members are gay, hippie, anti-war, legal, entrepreneurial immigrants (well, maybe not ALL in one, but pretty close). We want Universal Health Care for every single American. We want to raise taxes and close tax loopholes on the very rich and help the poor. We want to protect and help the old, the ill, and the vulnerable.

So, you know, it’s great if you’re a Republican — that’s excellent and all, but this site probably isn’t for you. And anyway, your work here is wasted. We’re not voting for Barack Obama. We didn’t need your help to get to this decision, and we don’t need you to hold our hands all the way to the voting booth on November 4th. In fact, it’s probably a bad idea — the more you reveal of your true political beliefs the more you will remind us why we are NOT and never have been Republicans. You’d probably be spending your time better trying to make the polar bears cry or writing love letters to Ann Coulter or something.

Be wonderful to each other.

FIRST? Good Morning Murphy & my fellow Pumas.

REPOST & CONTINUE TO REPOSTI’m posting this again as I believe we have until the end of the week to try and get Obama knocked off the ballot in all 50 states. . Send by fax so they are aware of what’s coming and then take to P.O. and have letters certified with a return receipt. I’ve already done Florida and so have several others. Someone is keeping a list of states but we are trying to get all 50 states represented. Feel free to use points in my letter but don’t copy it verbatim as I’ve already sent to Mukasey & Friedrich. I don’t think it has any punch if we all send the same letter. I also sent a letter to my Governor, that is up to you if you wish to do so.

Attorney General, Michael B. Mukasey YOUR STATE’S SOS

Fax: (202) 514-9412

Subject: Objections to Senator Obama being placed on ballot in Florida as Democratic Presidential nominee

Gentlemen:
I am a registered (YOUR STATE) (Dem-REPUB-IND) and a long time voter. According to the Constitution of the United States, Article II, Section 1, Clause 5:
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States
I respectfully request that the laws of the U.S. Constitution be enforced. Furthermore, please demand that the Democratic Presidential Nominee Senator Barrack Hussein Obama be required to provide (1) a certified copy of the vault Certificate of Birth; (2) a certified copy of the Oath of Allegiance he would have had to take between the ages of 18-21 to regain his U.S. citizenship after leaving Indonesia; and (3) verify that he registered in the selective service (he would have had to do this within six (6) months of turning eighteen (18).
Before Senator Obama is named on a (YOUR STATE) state ballot for the office of President, the foregoing documents must be produced. Unless Sen. Obama produces evidence to the contrary, I believe he:
• Is not a natural-born citizen; and/or
• Lost his citizenship when he was adopted in Indonesia; and/or
• Has dual loyalties because of his citizenship with Kenya and Indonesia.
Numerous questions raised about Obama’s background have no satisfactory answers:
• Where was Obama born? Hawaii; an island off of Hawaii; Kenya; Canada?
• School records list Obama as a citizen of Indonesia. Was he a citizen of Kenya, Indonesia and/or Canada?
• Explanation of the names he has used: Barack Obama, Barry Soetoro, Barry Obama, Barack Dunham, & Barry Dunham.
• Illinois Bar Application – Obama fails to acknowledge use of names other than Barack Hussein Obama,
As Attorney Generals of the U.S. and (YOUR STATE), Secretary of State of (YOUR STATE), and(USE IF YOU SEND TO YOUR GOVERNOR) Governor of (your state) , I request that you investigate the possible forgery of a Hawaii Certification of Live Birth and require Sen. Obama to answer whether he was ever a citizen of Indonesia and further require him to submit all documentation that led up to him being a U.S. citizen. Senator Obama has refused and/or failed to provide proof of his birth as a natural born U.S. citizen. A falsified birth certificate has circulated the Internet and has been proven by experts to be a forgery. Additionally, a lawsuit has been filed against Sen. Obama, Berg v. Obama, Civil Action No. 08-cv-4083 regarding his qualifications to become President of the U.S.
As a natural citizen of the U.S. and a dedicated American patriot, I am adamant for the security of our nation that we choose our elected officials as required in our federal and state constitutions and laws.
Please require that Senator Obama provide absolute proof that he is a natural born citizen of the U.S. before his name is placed on the (YOUR STATE) state ballot for President of the United States. Thank you.

I just got an e-mail from one of my friends who was going to support McCain but now will not vote for him because of Palin’s extreme views. I, too, have strong reservations about her, her environmental record, her stance on gays, she does not even believe in civil unions. My vote is a protest vote against Obama but I believe McCain lost a lot of women’s votes with his extreme pick. Kay Bailey Hutchinson would have been better, I don’t think she is as radical as Palin. IMHO

Good Morning PUMAS!

Kay Bailey Hutchinson is as radical as they come!! She goes with the way the wind is blowing. I have watched her for years.

Looks like to me, some people can’t handle a strong woman. Go out into the work force and see the way strong women are treated. Wake up and smell the coffee!!!

#10,11 Prowland, I’m pretty sure my son told me she was against civil unions.

Anyway, then they’re both radical. As I said my vote is a protest vote and I will vote for McCain/Palin. Anything to keep the Pretender out.

Wow, what a night! I can’t wait to see Palin! I thought the folks on CNN were going to cry. I hope Chris Mathews gets a warm feeling up his leg tonight!

Hey did you hear on CNN yesterday that obie was being interviewed by a government agency (maybe fbi) they said to get a security clearance. CNN said even John McCain and Biden (who have a clearance will be interviewed)& Palin, I never heard of anything like this. I think someone is investigating obie. Once you have a clearance you don’t have to go through another interview and process. Keep praying…maybe it’s about all those docs on Ayres!

I loved it when they would blast Obama! They are all upset over Leiberman! hee hee!!

#19 joanna0902 Maybe it’s the letters questioning his constitutional eligibility, it’s a crime to lie about who you are. He has to have all his documents in order to get a security clearance. Why didn’t he already have one? I hope everything comes out, I want to see him implode!!! Bye, Bye, Obama, criminal, liar, fraud, cheat.

#24 ladyhawkke on 09.03.08 at 8:43 am

Mounting a ferocious defense of his embattled running mate, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said he is buying a TV ad arguing that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has more experience than the Democratic presidential nominee, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.).

A campaign statement, in an effort to rev up conservatives, issued a list of critical media mentions that it called “smears” of Palin, who speaks in prime time at the convention on Wednesday night.

The campaign announced: “The McCain campaign will launch a television ad directly comparing Governor Palin’s executive experience as a governor who oversees 24,000 state employees, 14 statewide cabinet agencies and a 10 billion dollar budget to Barack Obama’s experience as a one-term junior Senator from Illinois.”

The ad is what the campaign calls “a forward-leaning effort to counter the shameless smears that have prevailed during Governor Palin’s introduction to the American voter.”

#25 hoosiermike on 09.03.08 at 8:44 am

Great letter ladyhawkke. I will revise it and make my own version and send it to the Indiana SOS, AG and Gov. He has to be stopped, and I think it’s BS that our nation is allowing this charade to continue without investigating it.

I think it’s HILARIOUS that NY Times’ readers have declined 3.9%. Serves them right.

Let’s please take the issue with boycotting advertisers seriously. That is one sure-fire way to get them to listen. If they know we’re the ones not putting the money in their pockets anymore, they’ll pull thier ads off the air on those stations until something is done about those sexist, biased scum.

Wanted to share this email I received:

By Bill Brown of the Billy Graham Team!

Bill Brown, is a highly respected retired member of the
Billy Graham team so, I take his assessment of Obama very seriously and for that reason accept his challenge to pass this on.

I share his concern about the ‘rock star’ image Obama has and watch with growing concern at the celebrity status the media has foisted upon him. Here is hope this informs you in a wise way.
________________________________

The Obama Tidal Wave

We are witnessing a political phenomenon with Barack Obama of rare magnitude. His speeches have inspired millions and yet most of his followers have no idea of what he stands for except platitudes of ‘Change’ or that he says he will be a ‘Uniter’.

The power of speech from a charismatic person truly can be a powerful thing. Certainly Billy Graham had charisma. Both his manner of speech and particularly the content changed millions.

On the extreme other hand, the charisma of Adolph Hitler, too, inspired millions and the results were catastrophic.

Barack Obama certainly is no Hitler or a Billy Graham, but for many Americans riding on the Obama Tidal Wave it is just like a surfer who might be ecstatic and euphoric while riding a tidal wave, but the reality of the ride is what happens when it hits shore.

*Just Some of What Defines Barack Obama*

Obama voted for partial birth abortion.

Obama voted no on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions.

Obama supports affirmative action in Colleges and Government (quotas)

In 2001 Obama questioned harsh penalties for drug dealing as being too severe.

Obama says he will deal with street level drug dealing as minimum wage affair.

OBAMA admitted his use of marijuana and cocaine in high school and in college.

Obama’s religious convictions are very murky.

Obama is willing to meet with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Kim Jung Il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Obama said that one of his first goals after being elected would be to have a conference with all Muslim nations. Why?

Obama opposed the Patriot Act.

First bill Obama signed that was ever passed was campaign for finance reform.

Obama voted to allow law suits against gun manufacturers.

Obama supports universal health-care.

Obama voted yes on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees.

Obama supports granting driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants.

Obama supports extending welfare to illegal immigrants.

Obama voted yes on comprehensive immigration reform.

Obama voted yes on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security.

Obama wants to make the minimum wage a ‘living wage’.

Obama voted with Democratic Party 96 percent of 251 votes.
(241 votes Demo, 10 votes Republican)

Obama is a big believer in the separation of church and state.

Obama opposed to any efforts to Privatize Social Security and instead supports increasing the amount of tax paid into Soc. Sec. Tax Increase.

Obama voted No on repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax which now hits middle income brackets. Tax Increase.

Obama voted No on repealing the ‘Death’ Tax. Tax Increase.

Obama wants to raise the Capital Gains Tax. Tax Increase.

Obama has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq has not succeeded..which is not true.

Obama is ranked as the most liberal Senator in the Senate today and that takes some doing.

If your political choices are consistent with Barack Obama’s and you think that his positions will bring America together or make it a better place, then you will probably enjoy the ride.

If you are like most Americans that after examining what he stands for, are truly not in line with his record, it would be prudent to get off the wave or better yet, never get on, before it comes on shore and undermines the very foundations of this Great Country. We have limited time to save America or the Supreme
Court as we know it.

Inaction is action.

If you agree this is important, pass it on. The mainstream
Media will not do it for you!

I am posting this in the current thread, although it is mostly a response to the video below.

As I lifelong Democrat, I have made the very difficult decision to vote Republican. There are times when I question this decision, and feel like the world has turned upside down. However, then I read nonsense from the mainstream media, or view the very “eloquent” video below and I am convinced that I have made the right decision. The mysoginy that reeks from BO supporters is mind-boggling and hypocritical. For all those attacking a woman who raises children and has a career - look at Michelle Obama and many other women in the Democratic party. Didn’t they make the same decision? Why is it okay for them, but not Sarah Palin?

I will now pull the Republican lever with a smile, thanks to the venom spewed by the poor excuse for a “man” on that video and what he supports. If these are the kinds of people who Obama attracts, I am proud to stand alone in support of John McCain.

Isn’t it interesting how a woman’s personal life becomes fodder for the media and “strange” gentleman like the one in your video. Why didn’t anyone ever question how Bobby Kennedy could consider running for the Presidency with 12 kids and another one on the way, and also with a disbled father requiring 24 hour per day care. Ah, double standards.

As a gay woman, that particular issue is very important to me. Palin in fact is against “gay marriage” (it’s a long hard fight for us). She did, however, allow domestic partnership rights for State of Alaska employess. As with everything, remember, it is a process. Unless it’s Bush, with the VETO stamp attached to the end of the wrist, ANY and all legislation goes through a process. I fought and fought hard in the state of NJ, just to get Domestic Partnership in that state. One thing at a time.
I for one, believe that she has more to offer, than you know who, and she actually ensured my vote for McCain.
I’ve said it before, I believe I know what McCain will do in office. I haven’t a clue what Mr. BOnehead will do. I will take the lesser of the two evils. One of the two of them will be President. None of the independents, green party, etc, will make it. I will do my part to ensure BOnehead does not make it.
NO Thing on Top

No How
NO BAMA!

Voted only Democrats in the past and heavily donated/participated Hillary Campaign, and now cannot put up with DONC’s corruption and that Obama supporter’s negativity as shown in down stair video, so there is no better choice other than McCain/Palin ticket this year.

#39 hillaryistheone on 09.03.08 at 9:13 am

Item: A CBS News / New York Times poll finds that 48% of Republican delegates support either gay marriage or civil unions for gay people.

Item: The Log Cabin Republicans, after some dawdling, formally endorses the McCain-Palin ticket. Said LCR president Patrick Sammon in a statement:

“On the most important issue that LGBT Americans faced in the last decade-the federal marriage amendment-Sen. John McCain stood with us. Now we stand with him. Sen. McCain is an inclusive Republican who is focusing the GOP on unifying core principles that appeal to independent voters.”

you do not stand alone…I stand with you. I have never been a straight ticket Democrat
*hides from tomatoes being thrown*
I vote my heart and I vote who I trust. If I truly don’t trust anyone, no one got my vote. In NJ, years ago, I voted for a Republican Govenor, because of the PROOF of what he had accomplished in his city, and what he wanted to do on the state level. I don’t believe in all of what McCain offers, but I trust that what he says is what he will deliver. And for everything I disagree with, well Murphy has taught me how to find and use my voice in protest. And I will.

Senator Joe Liberman thinks this is a good season for Democrats to cross the floor and vote for the Republican ticket.

McCain/Palin

This is a good season for a Protest Vote by (Nothing On Top for Democrats) do not vote for the top Democratic Ticket..

The Democrats ruined our excellent chance to win the White House with Senator Hillary R. Clinton, but the DNC, the RBC, Pelos, Reid, Dean and other corrupt democrats selected Obama instead of Clinton.

Show the dictators this is America not some third world country.

Protest Vote!, Protest Vote! Protest Vote!

#47 pumasupporter on 09.03.08 at 9:24 am

Wow, I was a supporter and admirer of your movement and what you all were doing. We don’t agree on everything but I respected your guts and your tenacity. But because I am of a different political persuasion, I am no longer welcome here. That’s basically what I saw in that post. I felt that what you all were doing was important because we all are so quick to pre-judge one another and we really don’t listen to what each other are saying. I believe that most Democrats love this country just as much as most Republicans. We all want to help. We just have different ways of helping. I know that all Democrats aren’t crazy liberals and all Republicans aren’t bigots. These are all stereotypes that have been fed by the media, but according to the post, I am not welcome here because I am just an admirer with respect for what you do, but I’m still not a Democrat. I don’t expect you to convert to being a Republican. I don’t try to “convert” anyone. If you want to know my view on it, I’ll tell you, but I respect everyone’s right to be whatever they want to be. But what about me? Am I not welcome?

Ref post #1 - LADYHAWKE

Thanks for reposting again!!! I just got back from the post office from sending 3 more letters out: 1 to the Texas Attorney General’s office as well as the 2 addys you provided for the US offices.. THANK YOU FOR THAT INFORMATION I sent them certified mail, RRR.. that is for TEXAS. I think prowlland did that for Texas too, but as you said, if they get more than 1 letter from different individuals in the same state, then they know there is interest there. I BELIEVE THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT PROWL.. if it works it’s great.. if it does not work, AT LEAST WE TRIED SOMETHING ELSE!!!

Thank you Ladyhawke and others who have prodded this idea on… even though I am not so terribly worried about Texas, which goes Republican most of the time, still… I would love to NOT SEE Nobama’s name on the ballot.

Here’s what I just emailed the Chairman of my state’s democratic party:

I’m wondering if you could provide me with some information. I’d like to know how our (State) delegates voted during the “breakfast” vote on 8/27/08. The reason I’m inquiring is that I voted in the primary, and I was under the impression that pledged delegates to a convention were there to represent the votes of their constituency.

The Green papers (http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P08/D.phtml) lists the total pledged delegates going into this convention as: 1,747.5 (39.55%) for Obama and 1,730.5 (39.17%) for Clinton and yet the floor vote was: 1,549.5 (35.07%) for Obama and 341.5 (7.73%) for Clinton before it was halted.

I’d like to know why there is such a discrepancy and why our votes were not allowed to be counted. It seems to me that this is a flagrant violation of one of democracy’s most fundamental principles, and I’m confused as to why it was so violated by the Democratic party.

Please don’t use the “unity” argument; I don’t recall that that was an option on the ballot when I voted during the primary. I voted for one of the two candidates and I want to know if my vote was represented as it should have been.

Any information you can give about this would be most appreciated.

#55 nhforhillary on 09.03.08 at 9:33 am

If you don’t vote on top, they will look at how the other votes were cast and claim your intention was to vote for the top of the ticket…it’s a vote for Obama…an Obot thought of this for sure.

When the chads were in question, they looked at the rest of the ballot to determine what the actual intention of the voter was in order to count the votes.

#56 TexasTigress on 09.03.08 at 9:33 am

50 lotts1948
This is the letter i got back :

This letter is in response to your question about Senator Barack Obama’s eligibility to run in the November 4, 2008 Presidential election. As you know, Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution specifies the requirements for the office of President of the United States in the following terms:

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

You have alleged that Senator Obama has failed to meet the citizenship requirement cited above, although you do not cite any particular facts in support of your assertion.

The qualifications of all political party nominees for the presidential election are reviewed by the appropriate party chairs (in this case, the state chair of the Texas Democratic Party). As part of the qualification process, Senator Obama was required to affirm in writing and under oath that he is a U.S. citizen, and that he is qualified for the office sought.

Later this summer, the Republican Party and the Democratic Party will each host a national convention to choose party nominees for the positions of president and vice president. Our office will then be notified by the state party chairs of the certified party candidates running in the November presidential election.

Our office has a limited role in response to issues of candidate eligibility. The Secretary of State is not authorized to question the qualifications of any candidates except in response to conclusive documentary evidence of ineligibility for office pursuant to Section 145.003 (f), (g) of the Texas Election Code, which states, in part, as follows:

(f) A candidate may be declared ineligible only if: (1) the information on the candidate’s application for a place on the ballot indicates that the candidate is ineligible for the office; or (2) facts indicating that the candidate is ineligible are conclusively established by another public record. (g) When presented with an application for a place on the ballot or another public record containing information pertinent to a candidate’s eligibility, the appropriate authority shall promptly review the record. If the authority determines that the record establishes ineligibility as provided by Subsection (f), the authority shall declare the candidate ineligible. Tex. Elec. Code Ann. § 145.003 (Vernon 2003).

As of the date of this letter, our office has not received any conclusive public evidence establishing that Senator Obama is unqualified for the office of U.S. President.

For any questions about Senator Obama’s eligibility, we suggest that you should contact the Democratic Party of Texas, given that it is the party that confirms his inclusion in the presidential election. In any case, you have not cited any facts that would affect the candidate’s eligibility.

We hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our office toll-free at 1-800-252-VOTE(8683).

#62 Caracal Carrie on 09.03.08 at 9:41 am

I have had a couple of emails from Indianas democratic chair.

After the convention I emailed him and stated:

Mr. Parker,

I was so happy to have received your email and learned that Indiana was going to stand strong by the laws of the state. After the “roll cal” I found myself wondering, how is it that a 51% win by Hillary Clinton in Indiana translates into only 6 votes?

The votes of the state of Indiana are not owned by Mr. Obama or Mrs. Clinton, they are owned by the voters, as it should be. No amount of being “released” or being coerced should have changed the way the votes in Indiana were cast. I am ashamed that my state was a shining example of all that is wrong with the DNC.

Myself and others will be working tirelessly to not only bring this corruption to light, but to oust any of the ‘elected’ officials who were party to it, as well as seeking justice in the states where the laws were broken by the sham of the votes.

Respectfully,

Carrie ******

Indiana voter

Yesterday I received this reply:

Carrie,

When our Indiana delegates met with Senator Clinton on Wednesday, she released her delegates and indicated that she would be voting for Senator Obama. Therefore, the delegates followed suit and voted for Senator Obama. I believe the message Senator Clinton delivered on Tuesday was very inspiring to the Party and helped bring the Party together united for Victory. We must stand together and elect Senator Obama President of the United States.

I am firmly committed to helping bring Indiana’s electoral votes to the Democratic column.

Women can’t be president or vice-president. The media will NOT let it happen. Forget sending girls to school, be sure to tell them that they will NEVER be president!

When women attack other women who want to aspire to be the Vice-President, they are telling my children and theirs, that it will NEVER come true. Throw away your DREAMS because you can’t be anything you want when you grow up! Forget college, you are NOT worthy to run this country.

Is this the country we live in now?

SECOND, get to work. NOW. We need to work WITH REPUBLICANS and INDEPEDENTS and FORMER DEMOCRATS to form a new party–a better party.

I personally know quite a number of Republicans who voted for Hillary in the primaries and are sympathetic to our cause. They have witnessed all the sexism and the race card being played and feel in concert with us regarding the detriment to our society. I said it before but the party lines are a bit blurred this season.

So, I DO welcome here anyone of any either party persuasion. I am an Independent but have always voted primarily democratic. I know I won’t be voting back in the Dem. Gov. Kaine of Virginia ( if he runs again)because of his early and unsubtantiated support of NOBO.

And I don’t want my taxes raised….especially the capital gains tax. Thanks to those who have elightened us on Palin’s stance on employee benefits for gays in Alaska. I just copied that to a lot of my gay friends.

I am a strong supporter of womens rights in the Democratic Party. However, I am also a strong supporter of womens rights in the Republican Party. As a supporter of womens rights I do not love one and hate the other. I must learn to love all.

The object in life is to come to love ourself. that is the ultimate goal of life on earth. We are all ONE therefore in order for me to love myself I must love everyone else. Then and ONLY then will I come to love myself.

I oppose all ideas that Palin is not suitable for office. I support her for office 100%. I would vote for Hillary 100 times more than Sarah but I do not have that opportunity.

I need to keep my eye on the prize. The prize is the defeat of Obama. First logical conclusion is that the only way to defeat Obama is to have someone else win. Therefore I must vote for McCain.

A Republican white house with a Democratic congress is probably good at this time. all one party is too big an opportunity for big time corruption and more old boys club. I support the idea of a divided washington for the next 4 years.

Many issues that people do not like about Palin will never come up in the next 4 years. There is not going to be a change in abortions or many other issues. We will have Hillary back in the white house in 4 years. The world is not coming to an end. let us put aside our fears and vote for McCain and Palin. This is the only road to success in stopping Obama. Do NOT be side tracked by opposition to some view of Palin. She is only the VP and her view will not become law.

When it comes to making decisions I believe and trust Palin to make good decisions. She listens well and is very practical and objective. She makes decisions based on what is best for the country. Exactly the kind of decisions each of us would make. I am sick of the decisions of corrupt people voting only for which company pays them the most money.

Understand that of the many decisions over the next 4 years we will get decisions bases on what is best for the country. some decisions will be different than what I want or you want but they will be honest decisions. maybe we are wrong sometimes who knows. All of this is so much better than having corruption make decisions.

This is fundamental to all politics. We have a clear choice to vote for honesty or corruption. I will vote for honesty in John and Sarah over the guaranteed corruption of Barack and Joe.

Better to have a house wife making decisions then a drunk. I do not want a person like joe with an alcohol impared mind making decisions. not sure barack stopped his drug use either.

Hello everyone,
I have been looking at your website for a while, but this is my first post. I wanted to make two comments:
Firstly, A friend of mine was a delegate from Georgia.
All 18 of Hillary’s delegates in Georgia voted for her at the convention, and then my friend said that the voting was stopped. He went to Invesco Field, sold his Obama speech ticket for $3,500 and went and joined the McCain campaign.

My other comment is, if we want to defeat Obama, then I believe it is vital that we vote for McCain. I know it will be very hard for some people to do that. This election is going to be VERY close. To write in Hillary’s name, vote for a third party candidate, or stay home, could spell defeat. A lot of kids will be out voting for him without much knowledge of what he represents. We need every vote.

Thank you all for what you are doing.

So, if Obama does NOT meet the Constitutional requirements to be President, and let’s say he does win in November, would not impeachment be the only remedy?

I think even moderate Democrats like Evan Bayh would have a hard time refusing to impeach given a constitutional breach (and pressure from his home state)

The more I learn about our “system” the more evident it becomes that there is no system.

#109 mlhath on 09.03.08 at 10:29 am

Is there nothing we can do to highlight the fraud of our votes not counting? We have attorneys on most sites. Have my civil liberties not been compromised?

Is it possible to have a class action suit? I am not content to hope that BO loses in November. If he does, it will not be attributed to the electorate protesting the election. It will be attributed to racism. I can see a Diddy/Ludacris rant already.

I would love to think the news outlets would do their job and expose the DNC. But to believe that if we just air the truth, they will run with it, is wishful thinking, in my opinion. That is not going to happen. They are all
up in Alaska trying to figure out how many times Bristol had sex before she got pregnant.

Every day I think I could not be more disgusted. And every day I am.

#110 TexasTigress on 09.03.08 at 10:31 am

I forgot to mention that Tx . should have gone 108 Clinton , 103 Obama . When I asked Stephanie why the convention votes didn’t refelct the actual votes , she said it was Sen. Clinton’s speech that changed some dels minds …..

#111 WolfmanJack on 09.03.08 at 10:31 am

Concerns Raised about Palin and PMS
September 3, 2008

As McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin for vice president continues to be engulfed in controversy, new questions have been raised about her fitness for office. “The fact that Sarah Palin has just given birth, shows that she is still menstruating,” explained noted feminist author Nola Wright. “Because of that, once of month she will suffer cramping, mood swings, and adopt a temperament that may be unsuitable for public office.” “There’s indeed a reason for concern, “ said Dr. Karen Karlson of Seattle, Washington. “’That Time of the Month’ is a difficult time for many women and I would expect it to be no different for Mrs. Palin”.

Palin’s defenders point out that she is 44 and is moving out of her child-bearing years, but others still profess their doubts. “She may be moving out of her child-bearing years, but she is also moving into menopause, “ replied Dr. Karlson, “and for many women menopause is more debilitating than PMS. I think concerns have to be raised about her fitness for high office for many years to come.”

I guess this is what some of you have been saying…

Top Story Clinton supporter sues Obama on grounds he is constitutionally ineligble for Presidency
By Kathy Miller |
By: Jeffrey Schreiber

A prominent Philadelphia attorney and Hillary Clinton supporter filed suit yesterday afternoon in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, the Democratic National Committee and the Federal Election Commission.

The action seeks an injunction preventing the senator from continuing his candidacy and a court order enjoining the DNC from nominating him next week, all on grounds that Sen. Obama is constitutionally ineligible to run for and hold the office of President of the United States.

Phillip Berg, the filing attorney, is a former gubernatorial and senatorial candidate, former chair of the Democratic Party in Montgomery (PA) County, former member of the Democratic State Committee, and former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania. According to Berg, he filed the suit–just days before the DNC is to hold its nominating convention in Denver–for the health of the Democratic Party. “I filed this action at this time,” Berg stated, “to avoid the obvious problems that will occur when the Republican Party raises these issues after Obama is nominated.”.

Berg cited a number of unanswered questions regarding the Illinois senator’s background, and in today’s lawsuit maintained that Sen. Obama is not a natural born U.S. citizen or that, if he ever was, he lost his citizenship when he was adopted in Indonesia. Berg also cites what he calls “dual loyalties” due to his citizenship and ties with Kenya and Indonesia. Even if Sen. Obama can prove his U.S. citizenship, Berg stated, citing the senator’s use of a birth certificate from the state of Hawaii verified as a forgery by three independent document forensic experts, the issue of “multi-citizenship with responsibilities owed to and allegiance to other countries” remains on the table.

In the lawsuit, Berg states that Sen. Obama was born in Kenya, and not in Hawaii as the senator maintains. Before giving birth, according to the lawsuit, Obama’s mother traveled to Kenya with his father but was prevented from flying back to Hawaii because of the late stage of her pregnancy, “apparently a normal restriction to avoid births during a flight.” As Sen. Obama’s own paternal grandmother, half-brother and half-sister have also claimed, Berg maintains that Stanley Ann Dunham–Obama’s mother–gave birth to little Barack in Kenya and subsequently flew to Hawaii to register the birth.

107 Wolfman
I’ve come to believe EVERYONE in power knows he’s not eligible under the constitution to be Pres, and Pelsosi is just planning to pass a Senate resolution declaring him to be a Natural Born Citizen once he gets elected, “for the good of the country.”

The Dem’s sponsored a senate resolution saying John McCain is a citizen. It wasn’t ever a question, this wasn’t needed.

“Yesterday, the Senate passed a resolution declaring that McCain is a natural-born citizen. The resolution was passed by unanimous consent. More surprising than the result, however, was the fact that the bill was written and submitted by Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO), and co sponsored by both Democratic presidential candidates, Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY), and Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL). Politics makes strange bedfellows.”

http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008/05/01/clinton-obama-sponsor-mccain-citizenship-bill/

I read somewhere a draft of language that Obama had personally tried to add to the resolution, that did not relate to John McCain in any way. Can’t find it now.

A poster on a Republican group wrote this:

After seeing the perverted coverage of Sarah Palin, it is time to give the media and their left wing bloggers a taste of their own medicine. We need to establish and fund a web site that compiles information about the personal lives of the major media and the left wing bloggers in a consolidated place.

It should be modeled on YouTube so that anyone can submit a video of past predictions, compromising pictures and other embarrassing items in their past. We all remember how Larry Flynt offered to pay a $1,000,000 bonuty for Republican dirt. We don’t need to go that far, just provide a forum for them.

The Web Site could be called MediaHypocrites.Com (if this is not already used). Since the media controls much of it’s own destiny (except the ad revenue flow), the best way to get back at them is through humiliation. Make them look like the Emperor Without Clothes to the average American.

And the beauty of this is that they also fall under the ‘Public Figure’ category, making them less able to sue for defamation.

I will try to follow this group and see if they do anything about it.

First I want to thank all of “you” PUMAS,

I am a 38yo/m Blue Reagan Democrat from CO,

This election, I am going to enthusiastically cast my vote for John McCain & Sarah Palin.

I do not need to say anything about John McCain, his heroic character speaks for itself and I believe it when he says he will put the people first, he will!

Sarah Palin will not only “break the ceiling” for women, she will also break the ceiling for “We the People”

This may be the only chance that we the people ever have of getting and “honest look” into the corruption in Washington.

We need Washington to be held “accountable” to much higher standard and Sarah lets “small town” America have a stake in the direction that this country is headed to in the future.

- Sarah in a Washington outsider
- She has an impressive track record of reform
- Solid moral character
- And a refreshing perspective on “family values”

Sarah Palin should be viewed as an example for us all.

I believe Sarah I a person of strong moral conviction, and has shown that she has outstanding judgment in times of her own families personal crisis.

John McCain and Sarah Palin have shown me that they have the best moral compass to lead our great nation into the future.

They do seem very afraid of the Palin nomination. McCain was SUPPOSED to pick an old white guy. Then they would be chanting” two old white guys, two old white guys”. Had he picked Colin Powell, they would have called it “playing the race card”.

He was also SUPPOSED to be an old man drooling on himself. He is at least as sharp mentally as Obama. And maybe 72 isn’t so old anymore. Of course, Obama’s college-kid base thinks 30 is old.

McCain isn’t following the script written by the Obama camp. They underestimated him. And over-estimated their Messiah.
