Look Into the Eyes and Soul of an Obamacan

In case you’ve forgotten what we are fighting, please watch this youtube. Watch the whole thing — it gets even better at the end.

You know Folks, sometimes I think that the country really is going to split in three politically this year. The xenophobic/kleptocratic/fundamentalist/men in the Republican Party; the weak-willed/ineffectual/bullying/crybaby men (like this maniac) in the Democratic Party; and the women and everybody else in the Puma Movement and New Democratic Party.

RE: Protesting the 2008 Presidential Elections

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
TIME TO FOCUS ON WAYS TO DEFEAT BO !!!

>> WHY?

– This is a very close election (esp. in the critical swing states)!
– If BO wins, Hillary’s future presidential hopes likely END.
A big BO loss will shake awake the DNC, forcing reform… AND will allow Hillary to run & win in 2012!
– A lot of the focus should now be on the crucial battleground SWING STATES that will decide this election!!!
– We only have 2 months left!

———————
** POSSIBLE TACTICS:

• Make phone calls, esp. in swing states… organize phone-banks. – Talk to others (even door-to-door). – Give talks to persuade critical groups. — Help get people who are voting against BO to the polls (on Nov 4). – Volunteer to poll-watch (on 11-4) — etc…

• Distribute “anti-BO” flyers, brochures, info sheets, etc. — Put up flyers/posters all over (esp. where they’ll do most good). — Also: bumper stickers, buttons, yard signs, etc.

• Write Letters to the Editor (newspapers). — Spread “Viral” Emails. — Forward persuasive articles. — Blog and post comments or articles all over the Web. — Talk to the press, give TV interviews, etc (like Murphy & Will do). — Enlighten others about BO and our cause!

• Reach out to (& educate) those without internet!

• Formally challenge (or object to) BO’s eligibility to be in your state’s ballot. (????… Not sure about this one!).

• If you’re defecting to McCain: — Campaign for McCain/Palin. — Donate to the campaign, etc…

• DONATE to PUMApac !!!

• Donate to (& help out) any effective 527 group working to defeat BO through TV, radio & newspaper ADS, etc.

• If PumaPac can pull it off, as a 527 group, we can raise funds to produce ADS for TV & newspapers to help expose & defeat BO.

• Visualize lots of RED in the electorate map on Nov. 4… esp. see the critical swing states go red! – Visualize the Mac/Palin win; the cheers, the confetti, etc. – *Then* *SEE* *2012*: Hillary elected president; thanking the cheering crowd, etc.

• We can model a lot of our efforts on effective campaign strategies, except we’re not officially campaigning for someone; we’re campaigning against BO.!!!

RE: WAYS TO DEFEAT BO…

freddiebrown responded to the previous version of my post (see # 7 above) in the previous blog w/the following:

#309 LandiPUMA

LandiPUMA – please copy and paste your list of actions on to a word document. As you read more suggestions of how we can help make sure O is not elected, you can add it to your bullet points. Some of us PUMAs could alert you if you miss anything. When this list is done, we can email Murphy to put it as a permanent action so it doesn’t get lost and buried….

—————–

I am willing to gather the ideas, suggestions and pertinent info (from people’s posts) related to “strategies to defeat BO”… and update my bulleted list (& re-post it) from time to time.

Late at night I have more time to go through the posts more carefully, do careful searches, etc.

I only ask that people contributing to this project put my username on their post and/or use a topic line (subject heading), such as “RE: WAYS TO DEFEAT BO” in all caps or bold so I can find relevant posts easily. Even without these, I could probably still catch most relevant posts, but it would really help if you do that.

Again, I’ll revise & re-post the list in the future as I gather more ideas & info.

*** Thank you freddiebrown, bruce55555, catsrlove, Rabblerouser, Shane (I copied your whole post!) & others… for your responses to my post with ideas & input.

#23 Henerietta on 09.02.08 at 10:13 pm

I can’t see the video either.

I think we are have had a void in American Politics for a long time. All of the things that we are protesting were growing and festering just below the surface for a long time. Some critics of the DNC, commentators on the republican side mostly, have seen these things for years. I have suspected that some of their complaints were based in fact, while others were just partisan bickering.

One thing is for sure: There are lines that NOBODY should ever cross. This election has been all about crossing those lines. The worst thing is that the will of the voter has been openly and arrogantly usurped. This cannot be allowed to stand. This is not what I signed on to the Democratic Party to be a part of.

My daughters and I have discussed the need for a viable third party for a long time. This party needs to be centrist leaning left. Hillary is a good example of the mindset that those of us who want this third party crave. It is no wonder that those of us who make up the heart and soul of the PUMA movement are so comfortable with her. She echoes us.

I am heartened that we have formed this coalition of thinking people. Unfortunately, we will all have to vote for someone we don’t really support whole heartedly. Anyone is a poor substitute for the real winner. But we tried. And we did make a great deal of progress.

Let us go forth and make the changes that our country needs to make. We can do it. We must keep the faith in ourselves and our democracy.

Keeping the faith…………..

#24 DancesWithPumas on 09.02.08 at 10:13 pm

947 DancesWithPumas on 09.02.08 at 10:10 pm I agree with Trish.
I also agree that fighting sexism is the good and necessary fight, and while, goddess knows, I will never discourage it, I think, since we have only 8 weeks until the national election, that we should focus and apply our energy, time, and money, toward defeating the 0 boy. That would include poll volunteerism, and anything else we can think of prior to Nov 4.

Well, what the Robotard in this video doesn’t realize is that he and his ilk are one of the major reasons I refuse to ever support Obama. What a vile, hateful, vulgar, moronic pig! Does he even think that I want to be in the same political party as him? Hell, I don’t want to be on the same planet.

Guess what moron? You totally convinced me to vote for that “bitch”!

#32 murphy on 09.02.08 at 10:21 pm

This is Obama Nation, right in front of your eyes.

#35 BillieJo on 09.02.08 at 10:23 pm

Yipes Murphy…just when I was starting to mellow out I see the video above and I wonder…America, what are we fighting for? How can any woman step up and run for office in this country? I wouldn’t have the courage to hear this day in and day out about myself or my family. Three parties, maybe that’s were we are now already. I am not a republican, clearly. I do not support the current Democratic party in all it’s uglyness…the PUMAs are stuck in the middle with a split vote for president and the rest of the ticket. No wonder women haven’t run for President since Jeradine F…they make it a living nightmare.

#36 SARTOM on 09.02.08 at 10:24 pm

Murphy, I get that. Real concern for the ?able influence this has on lame brains. I couldn’t believe the # of hits it had. But this tainted mind will taint others.

He looks like the guy that tried to kill Reagan…and ….the actress.

#39 MadLogic on 09.02.08 at 10:27 pm

Evening all. The press are doing their best to subdue the RNC convention. It’s not going to work. Undecided voters have noticed this bias and been commenting on it. Palin will relate to Middle America and pull in Conservatives, Independents, Pumas. They will win this election. The DNC backed polls are slowly showing their crappy tilt towards OB, but even the non-skeptical are questioning them.

#42 BillieJo on 09.02.08 at 10:28 pm

Could McCain offer Hillary a cabinet post? If she took it, would it hurt her in the demonic Democratic party?

Ok folks, in case you haven’t heard, BO will be on O’reillys show on Thursday night. Yes that’s right the night John Mccain gives his accpetance speech.

Forgive me for telling the truth but didn’t BO whine that it wouldn’t be fair for McCain to announce his VP pick on the night of his speech? This guy has some nerve.

Another typical Obama fan.
Obama speaks of hope, change, unity.
Why are his supporters hateful and angry? Why are these types of people drawn to him? Maybe they think it’s okay because of the filth that has come from Reverend Wright, or Father Pfleger? Maybe they feed off the anger coming from Michele Obama or Donna Brazile?

He accuses others of racism, but his supporters are openly and violently racist, sexist, and ageist.

Why does he attract the worst this country have to offer? Unprecedented hate speech seen on blogs and Youtube, aggressively ugly reporters and out right nasty on-air commentators. No tolerance for differences of opinion or questions of any area of his life.
His supporters are dragging the dialog in this country right into the gutter. And he just turns a deaf ear and lets them do his dirty work, doesn’t speak out for civil discourse, tolerance and kindness to others. This man is not the leader this country needs.

Watching the Rep. Convention on CBS – have to say I like the response that McCain’s Campaign manager “tried” to give Katie Curic – she obviously does not want to hear anything against BO and cuts them off when they say anything – but he did get a few good digs in – and against the media as well – good for him.

Really am shutting down the computer now – until tomorrow

TOPIC: Tell ‘em what you think

Here’s the web address for congress.org Site takes a while to pop up for some reason but there’s lots on it. Also, below is the email I sent this a.m. in reply to their inquiry “which candidate?”
Have fun.

The candidate or ticket I support for President is Senator Hillary Clinton.

I belong to P.U.M.A. (People United Means Action). I cannot support Barrack Obama, I cannot overlook:
* shady Chicago politics & Rezko scandal
* playing the race card by calling our Best President Ever – Bill Clinton – a racist
* gender bias by both mainstream media & Obama campaign
* his vote for FISA. No red-blooded Democrat would vote for that. Hillary Clinton didn’t.
* Lastly, even IF I could overlook all of the above, we
PUMA’s know there was Caucus Fraud took place during the primaries. I wont give my vote to someone like that. I am leaning towards McCain, & I think Dean & Pelosi need to be replaced.

Sincerely,
XXXX

You know the reason Obama is going on the O Reilly show is because he knows that is the night Of John McCains acceptance speech and he’s hoping that no one will show up to watch him Obama) make a fool of himself on the show. #68 antifish on 09.02.08 at 10:48 pm

What we all need to realize is that the Bots cut their teeth on bashing Hillary. We weren’t together then or maybe we could have raised enough hell to stop it. Now they’re just doing what worked for them already.

I don’t care if Palin is a Republican, she is a woman first and it’s wrong for us to not speak out. This is not about political parties, it’s about abuse and disrespect of women that has gone unchallenged for far too long.

The video posted above should be a wake-up call to women everywhere. This is part of the “Change” Obama is bringing.

We need to shame the women’s groups such as NOW who have become irrelevant through inactivity to step up and do what they were formed to do, defend women’s rights. And we need to take on the media.

I know that some here disagree, but for me, this isn’t a distraction to our goal, just an additional task. I think of it as making Hillary’s path a little easier in 2012.

(Steps down from soapbox)

Does anyone know why they’re not reporting together?”

I’ll hazard a guess, I think that Matthews went off on Olbermann because he mistook a small hand gesture (Keith made a gesture w/his hand like a mouth talking) as referring to him. I don’t think Keith meant it that way.

Moreover, it could have just as easily been Olbermann sitting up there on the stage that day that rec’d the full force of PUMA wrath – Olbermann deserves to be called on his B.S., for sure. I think Matthews resents being the one who got publicly called on the carpet while Keith got away unscathed.

Could be I’m reading too much into it but that’s how I see it.

JUST A COMMENT
Did any of you that happen to be watching the RNC notice all the hand made signs and I do not see anybody in the aisles telling people what signs to hold up.
Isn’t it so blanently obvious that the Reb delegates are speaking for themselves, and that the Dem were forced to even hold up signs at Obama’s will.
We have to make sure that Obama does not even get close

Take care and Be careful

#99 Sunshinelvr on 09.02.08 at 11:02 pm

they certainly picked the right theme this year! country before party! think they were/are listening to PUMAS?

#100 ipotter on 09.02.08 at 11:02 pm

Murphy, you are of course totally correct. This is a typical obot. We met several up close and personal while in Denver, and if you have seen one, you’ve seen them all (actually I live with on and yes, I want your pity). They remind me of “the borg.” Unable to think for themselves, demanding all to be assimilated into their collective, and ranting about how inferior everyone else is compared to them. I am sick of hearing how repubs wants to take away all birth control, take away choice, how bo never said anything sexist, etc. And if you happen to get one who isn’t up to the challenge then FISA doesn’t matter, bo’s corruption doesn’t matter, all that matters is winning for the sake of winning. They are so self-centered (just like their messiah) that they aren’t capable of realizing the catastrophic effect of an obamanation.

#101 hillstheone on 09.02.08 at 11:02 pm

Hi anti,
I’m good. Haven’t heard back yet from any other Georgia PUMA’s, have you?

Met a really nice PUMA member named Shirley, I think it was, from Georgia. I hope she sees one of my posts or that we can figure out a way to pull all the Georgia PUMA’s together!

I’m looking forward to visiting Atlanta as I told you I’ve never been there, the conference should be good too.

Hey maybe you can post something every few days & try to gather the Georgia PUMA’s? Like herding cats, lol…

GOGANDOLF , PROWLLAND, LADYHAWKE 7 ALL WHO ARE

WRITING SEC OF STATE OF YOUR STATE

If I may,
I have had “business”with Attorney General Mukasey when he was the Chief Judge of Southern District Federal Court in New York. He is a company man , and nothing you write to him is going to go very far.
He wont do anything because it will look like his boss (we are his boss, but he thinks he’s GWB’s personal lawyer) so here is my suggestion:

-continue sending registered mail to him and the others, but realize they will not get it til about two weeks after you send it,since it has to go through special P.O. machines etc for anthrax and so on, AND YOU HAVE SAID FRIDAY IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER OBJECTION

- so
1) fax a copy of your letter to him , WITH the number of the certified certificate, or copy of it attached.

2) call up his office and speak to his legal assistant, get the name, and register your complaint verbally that they have allowed someone who appears not to conform to the restrictions of the Constitution of the United States
to run for office of the President of the United States, etc.

3- BYPASS mukasey by writing to the U. S. Attorney of your state, or of your district –Each district of a state has a US Attorney, Dept.of Justice. SEND YOUR US ATTORNEY The Letter, certified etc….

4- IF YOU ARE ANYWHERE NEAR A US ATTORNEY’S OFFICE GO IN AND ASK TO TALK WITH THE US ATTORNEY, THEY’LL GIVE YOU AN ASST. OR A PARALEGAL. BRING YOUR LETTER , AND ALL THE PROOF YYOU CAN PRINT OUT FROM THE INTERNET.

5) That US ATTORNEY HAS JURISDICTION OVER HIS LOCAL FBI

6) BUT JUST TO MAKE SURE – CALL UP OR VISIT YOUR LOCAL FBI WITH THE SAME LETTER OF COMPLAINT AND PROOF – OR FAX IT TO THEM AND ASK WHY THEY HAVENT VETTED A PERSON WHO IS RUNNING FOR THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WHO WAS STILL USING AN INDONESIAN PASSPORT WHEN HE WAS 20 /21 AND YOU HAVE SEEN NO PROOF HE IS NATURALIZED, AND IF HE IS NATURALIZED IT IS AGAINST THE CONSTITUTION FOR HIM TO BE RUNNING OR ON THE BALLOT. WHY ARENT THEY DOING THEIR JOBS?

Draw yourself up to your full height, dress nicely, conservatively, practice what you want to say, get your papers in order, evidence in order
And JUST DO IT.

lu ya guys, – if you’ll do it, something will come of it, I promise.

Finally FOR FLORIDA RESIDENTS, OUR GOV IS A REAL CRIME BUSTER GOOD GUY. SEND THE COMPLAINT LETTER TO THE GOV, OR TO HIS FAX….FOLLOW UP WITH PHONE CALL. SAYING YOU ARE NOT GETTING PROPER RESPONSE FROM SEC OF STATE WHOSE JOB IT IS TO HANDLE THIS.
ALSO , SEND COPY TO NEW ATTORNEY GENERAL OF FLORIDA, BILL MC COLLUM, (HE OF THE FANATICAL IMPEACHING OF CLINTON).. FOLLOW UP WITH PHONE CALL – WHAT IS HE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT???
IS IMPEACHING OVER SEX MORE IMPORTANT THAN VIOLATING THE CONSTITUTION WITH AN UNQUALIFIED NATURALLIZED CITIZEN?
THEY WILL HAVE TO INVESTIGATE WHETHER HE IS NATURALIZED OR CITIZEN BORN IF YOU ACCUSE THEM OF VIOLATING AND SHIRKING THEIR DUTY AND CONSTITUTION

I know that guy in the video is real, but at the same time, I have a hard time believing that people like that exist. I had to post U-tube to the effect that Obama supporters like him would surely send women running to the polls to vote for McCain/Palin.

I also put my application in for todays prowl.

Dear Mr. O’Reilly,

I heard Obama would be interviewed by you on Thursday. It is disrespectful of Obama to be on your show this Thursday when McCain is accepting his nomination! I hope this is a stupid rumor! After McCain was so gracious in scaling down his convention in RESPECT for the hurricane victims, Obama tries to pull this low-life prank. Please don’t be used and soiled by this plan.

#117 ManAgainstObamasSexism on 09.02.08 at 11:09 pm

Here is a question PUMAs. Would it help defeat Obama if McCain picked out his cabinet right now to show the strength of his selections?

Perhaps place Hillary Clinton in a high role such as Secretary of Defense?

Would you folks support that or would that be something you wouldn’t want Clinton to do because it might limit her chances come 2012?

Just thinking about strategy because some conservatives are thinking that Clinton should get a spot somewhere (to be honest to please the PUMAs).

Views?

I read here that you wrote ‘men’ are the problem in both parties. Um…Parties are made up of both genders. And PUMA is women and then ‘everybody else?’ Is that right? May I remind you that one of most vicious, vocal and outrageous attacks that were levied at Clinton came from a woman – Arianna Huffington.

Her whole site is practically devoted to worshipping Obama and tearing down Hillary.

As a man who campaigned for Hillary – not just blogged or talked about it – who went & knocked on so many doors till my knuckles swelled, made so many calls till I lost my voice and gave as well as raised money…

I am offended.

#158 MattsMarie on 09.02.08 at 11:24 pm

The video was painful to watch since the guy is obviously an idiot but I watched it right after watching Fred Thompson and Joe Lieberman’s speeches. Comparing the logical arguments between Thompson/Leiberman and O-boy was quite entertaining and gave me comfort knowing that the vast majority of Americans will use their heads when they finally go to the voting booth in November.

Thompson: Vote for McCain so you’ll never have to ask “Who is this guy and can I trust him to run the country”.

vs

O-boy: Vote for Obama-Biden because the ticket name sounds like a party or a shin-dig??!!!

It seems that when someone moves to the far left politically, their ability to make an intelligent argument goes down the toilet. Sometimes its so funny that I lurk for sport over at the Daily Kos just to see how stupid the arguments can get!

#182 jenniforhillary on 09.02.08 at 11:32 pm

THIS is why BO must be defeated. THIS MAN is exactly who came to TEXAS IN DROVES and DESTROYED Democracy and STOLE THE CAUCUS VOTE. I am a very very strong woman and I held a 10 foot HILLARY Sign for the 5 days of early voting and for one day primary. THESE MEN WERE VISCOUS LIARS who HATED WOMEN and spewed filth like this to us while spewing BO lies to the public….

WE must defeat this man, which means defeating BO, which means voting for MCCAIN.

COUNTRY before PARTY, WOMEN before BO, HILLARY ALWAYS, and FLLLLK THE DONC!!!

AND I LOVE PUMA MEN :)

#183 ManAgainstObamasSexism on 09.02.08 at 11:34 pm

I apologize 1gypsy. I thought that you had commented on the fact that many conservatives are talking about Clinton being in McCain’s cabinet.

I think this is a huge point. He is going to have Lieberman as Secretary of State without a doubt. I bet that Hillary Clinton will have a space.

I know that many liberal PUMAs disagree but believe me I know those in the Republican party and I know McCain. He will ask Hillary Clinton to do something in his administration.

I don’t know anything about the Reb delegates or bought crowds, I have never done any research. I was just noticing the difference in the crowd. My guess is McCain won the primary so early and all the delegates were released ( I think), but I know he got over the 1191 mark when every body else dropped out. The convention just seem more crowd friendly, less scripted, more like the ones I remember. Just a thought.

I have kind of felt marginalized to a degree myself. Being a centrist male, I am often overlooked by campaigns as well. I don’t let it get to me.

PUMAs may be predominantly women and are overwhelmingly Hillary supporters, but that doesn’t matter in my view. They, for the most part are rebelling against partisan corruption – one of several stances they hold.

I agree with them to that extent; therefore, I support them in the same way. (Note I use “them” and “they.” I don’t consider myself to be a PUMA – I am a contributor in the larger causes they are fighting.

Take nothing personally.

———-
Soapboxes are cool. :-)
I did go to Denver and it took me almost 4 days to recover from the heat and thin air. Today was my first day back to work, I work at a university and heavy cupcake support there. I have 4 professors that feel the need to take me into their offices and talk to me before I sell out to the dark side voting for McCain. You would think I was going to sell my soul to the Devil. The first one I had a sit down with, has promised to look at the caucus fraud website. They are all shocked when I tell them what we know. Not easy at work but we all have a wonderful relationship so it should be interesting all week.
How are you doing?

The bozo convention was way over the top scripted and no one was there to vouch for his character or his past. We heard about Michelle’s family and that was it. It was eerily scary to me. So opposite of this McCain convention. Sorry but the POW story makes me tear up when I hear it.

Murphy – thanks for fixing the video. Seeing this just makes me sick to my stomach. I can not stand the Obamabots. They makes no sense, they are just dumb. Their views are all centered around their measly lives. What do you mean there is nothing to do in Alaska? Alaska is a beautiful state. What because there are no mini-malls every few blocks, and bars to go play with your brothers, there is nothing to do in Alaska? What do they do? Make Obamabot movies to show themselves off on youtube, they call that living? Thanks for the video Murphy, it just makes me more determined to commit to changing the democratic party. Sometimes, I wonder what will happen in 2012 – or even 2010. After 20 years of exposure to Hillary (1992), will America simply lose interest or will there be some internal “We told you so!” backlash within the DNC caused by poeple like the PUMAs?

Politics are strange, ever-morphing.

It amazes me how many Democrats are willing to roll over and play dead. I sent an email to over 300 Hillary supporters today asking them if they were interested in sending the letter to the US Atty General. Needless to say a few have ingested koolaid resorting to cursing and name calling. And there are those who are “loyal” Democrats and are going to do what Hillary told them to. The following is something I got from an Obama supporter today. She has called me a racist, a bigot, stupid hillbilly, said I hated my children, has said that I don’t have any right to ever vote again………you know, the typical left bank liberal who thinks any one centrist is evil incarnate. Her comments about Sarah Palin are in the all lower case part of this:

this issue is about judgment…
mccain made this choice without properly vetting his
candidate…a hasty decision, one of many from his
past and many yet to come…that frightens me a lot…

the other isn’t about palin’s family, that’s not part of
all this and i wish the media would quit … the part
that bugs me however, is her choice to travel during her
last pregnancy, leaving a trail of leaking amniotic fluid behind
her…it’s as if she tried to lose the baby that she knew was
going to have a serious birth defect…there’s something
seriously wrong with her behavior prior to giving birth…
is this a responsible person? i’m sure we’re going to hear
more than we ever wanted about her ‘history’…i’m sure
there’s a lot more that will come to the surface.

frankly, i wish folks would stick to the real issues instead of trying
to muddy the waters even further.

a.

Wouldn’t worry about the polls. Personally I don’t believe the numbers. But if you do believe the polls, then be aware that polisters claim that the numbers typically lag a week or two behind events. It might be only the convention bump. Not really a cause for alarm. There is a good site for polling here, but it’s a bunch of bots too. And I don’t put much confidence in their maps as the maps will be more red than they show: http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/search/label/today%27s%20polls

223 and 186 COMMENTING ABOUT RNC CONVENTION

Yes, believe me, most RNC conventions tad to be a little chaotic (my family are all Republicans but I am not so we are familiar with conventions). People are very individualistic when it comes to signs etc.

Doesn’t mean that the Republicans are better than the Democracts (I hate both parties) just different.

I could not find CNN’s President Jonathan Klein;s direct email but found his video with a place for comments, if anybody can find his direct email at CNN please let me know. Please feel free to use this letter as a form letter to him.

http://video.yahoo.com/watch/3307911/9305208?v=3307911

Mr. Klein,

Today your Jack Cafferty violated discrimination against the aged rules with his disgusting comment concerning Presidential candidate McCain, calling him “a feeble old 72 year old with white hair”. Would you allow him to call the other candidate “a nappy headed young black buck? ”

Furthermore your pundit Donna Brazile is attempting to intimidate voters and incite riots by stating “if Obama doesnt win there will be riots in the street”

I am not only outraged but I fully intend to advise the FCC. I will advise (through) all blogs to boycott CNN until such time as Cafferty apologizes and Brazile is removed. This is not an idle threat as we have boycotted Matthews and Olberman on MSNBC to the benefit of Fox who has gained between 750,000 and 1 million viewers during the election season. Agism, Sexism, Care for the trio of racism?

I look forward to appropriate action on your part, before we start writing your advertisers.

#260 zephyr on 09.03.08 at 12:05 am

The O loving liberal MSM is attacking Palin hard because they are running scared. Their self created “messiah” is going down and they don’t like it. I can barely stand a minute of watching CNN much less the video posted here. But it’s going to backfire on them. The attacks are creating a larger audience for the upcoming Palin speech tomorrow night.

Sean Hannity has almost single handidly vetted Obama in the media. But there is plenty more coming, I believe….and we Puma’s will be at the forefront of bringing it to light. Truth and Justice will PREVAIL.

#261 Sisterluck on 09.03.08 at 12:05 am

This is quote from bozo CNN analyst:

“From CNN Senior Political Analyst Bill Schneider

First Lady Laura Bush addressing the RNC.
St. PAUL (CNN) – Laura Bush is not only the most popular member of the Bush administration, she is the only popular member of the Bush administration since Colin Powell left.

Another very popular Republican woman: You may find over the course of the evening that there’s more enthusiasm for Sarah Palin than for John McCain.

It can’t be an accident that they’re showcasing women — they’re going after the Clinton vote.”

It’s official. The corrupt DNC is sweating bullets over Palin. They can’t even think, speak, or walk correctly. I have never seen so many blathering idiot pundits since Hillary came back and won NH. They are out of their minds scared now. I can’t wait to hear Palin’s speech. It won’t make me cry like Hillary’s but I expect to get fired up!

#262 bruce55555 on 09.03.08 at 12:06 am

Anderson Cooper & John what’s his name, try to maintain some cool but did look glum.

I am so happy to see them like this, this is the beginning of revenge.

#225 ipotter,

I agree about the polls. I’ve often found if you go review the polling data on polls that heavily favor BO, you find that they polled a higher number of Dems than Indies or Repubs. Personally, I think his post-convention “bounce” has been manufactured as an attempt to detract from the Rebulican Convention.

#256 South Jersey–Thanks. I gotta say The Lady would be great in one of those positions and I am sure it would set herself up for 2012 (at least I would hope so).

I don’t want her to waste her time in the Senate. One of 100 and no seniority. Believe me, she shouldn’t be there!

#265 LivingGrace on 09.03.08 at 12:06 am

If Obama doesn’t win there just may be riots in the streets. His supporters will freak out cuz it’s all over for their welfare checks and food stamps. McCain will take that money and give it to the vets and women who struggle.
To my thinking, the best way to ensure NObama’s defeat is to vote McCain.

#269 DancesWithPumas on 09.03.08 at 12:08 am

For decades the mantra has been: “A rising tides lift all boats”. It’s been the rally cry for fighting against discrimination and for civil rights for the disenfranchised.

It didn’t matter which group we were marching for, rallying around, or working in protest against injustice for, because A RISING TIDES LIFT ALL BOATS.

I don’t buy that mantra any more because, as we’ve been painfully reminded, the one boat that has been left stranded on the sandbar is the one carrying women. Our boat is weighed down by the anchors contrived by the very groups for whom we fought so hard and for so long.

I’m sorry you’re offended, but honestly, after hundreds, H.U.N.D.R.E.D.S. of years of continuous sexism / misogyny / rape / murder/ downright oppression, I mourn the loss of the gifts the world might have benefitted from had all the women who have gone before us had been allowed to manifest their hearts desires and potential.

I don’t have one iota of energy or concern to spare to make you feel better, or to thicken your skin, or anything else that will float your boat. Nothing personal to you… it’s just that the intense uninhibited display of blatant vile sexism from all arenas has drained me and I don’t really give a damn about most other groups, save children and the elderly.

Your staying has the potential of strengthening the movement, getting to know everyone here a bit better, perhaps developing strong ties to some… and becoming one of the PUMA men we love… william in denver, matt, nickels, and others. After hundreds of years of men keeping women down, and the proof that we haven’t progressed and are still mired in double standards renders me without sympathy to spare.

I have great relationships with my brothers, male cousins, and other male relatives, some associates at work, some in my circle of friends and neighbors, my women friends husbands, partners, boyfriends. I’m selective.
I’d venture to guess that of the worlds male population, I’d probably like 25% of them.
The rest :::::::shrug:::::

I don’t feel sorry for anyone on CNN. Lou Dobbs is the only credible person on that network. They are all huge bots. They repeated the vile lies on Daily Kos about Palin’s baby being the daugther’s, they send reporters to Alaska to ask questions about the 17 yr old and her pregnancy, they say Palin is a bad mother b/c she’s not a stay at home mom, they constantly promote bozo and his lies to the world AND most of all, they have the hateful piece of crap Donna Brazile on as a political analyst. I am most appalled by Campbell Brown allowing herself to be used to attack Palin’s family. I don’t know how she sleeps at night. They are tabloid piece of garbage. Now you know how I really feel ;) Thanks for the vent.

What incredible hatred for women…such massive insecurity and rage. Such incredible hatred in general.

What a pathetic person. Well, I think he had a meltdown after learning that Palin was McCain’s pick because he got so everylovin’ PUNKED by McCain.

Either that, or this guy has the potential to be a serial killer. That man’s hate is deep in his heart. Scary.

Interesting article on Clinton delegate in Vancouver USA (WA State) Columbia.

Vancouver Clinton fan makes New York Times
Wednesday, August 27 | 7:12 a.m.

Former Hillary Clinton volunteer Carol Anderson of Vancouver, who is attending the Democratic National Convention in Denver, made New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd’s snarky political column Wednesday with her less-than-charitable observations about Barack and Michelle Obama.

Anderson stood in the back of the room at a meeting of the Democratic Women’s Caucus wearing a Hillary T-shirt, a hat signed by the New York senator, and a “Nobama” button, Dowd wrote. She booed, Dowd said, every time one of the speakers mentioned Obama’s name.

“She’s voting for (Republican John) McCain and had nothing nice to say about the Obamas,” Dowd wrote. “What about the kids, I asked. ‘Adorable,’ she agreed. Well, I said, Michelle raised them.”

“‘I think her mother does,’” Anderson shot back, adding, ‘I wonder if Michelle would give the Queen one of her little knuckle punches?’”

The Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist used Anderson’s comments to illustrate what she called the “weird and jittery” vibe in Denver, fueled, she said, by bitter Clinton supporters.

not the argument I was making. Ario questionned why McCain was not showing(sic) more of his black support. My response was related to the backlash that many persons of African descent were subjected to over the course of the primary season. All I stated was that anyone who might want to vote country over party or over race might face some serious backlash.

Funny Lynn Swann is on fox right now defending McCain. So perhaps I stand corrected. Can’t hear it but he ran as a republican gov for PA

I live in a large city in Texas, and we have a large AA population. ALL of my friends who are AA voted Hillary and will NOT vote BO (many are voting McCAIN); I make a point to speak to every AA I see and talk to them about BO. MOST feel he is a liar and will NOT do right by them. Some will still vote for him because he’s black, but most say they will not. I know entire black churches who feel he is NOT GOOD FOR AMERICA and not good for them….and will NOT be voting for him…

I think the number will be closer to 20%….I hope it is even higher.

I am white but I was infuriated by what I read of the strong arming of John Lewis. The man is one of the few living heroes of the civil rights movement and he chose to support Sen Clinton. His constituents attacked him and basically told him if he did not endorse Obama his career was over. I had respected Lewis for many years but his legacy is forever tarnished for me. And sadly I bet a lot of those who applied pressure to him have no idea the gift the man had been to our country. Once again thankyou obama, I hope your personnal ambition was worth tarnishing a true legend. And by the way MLK was a republican. And it did take the courage of Johnson to pass the civil rights act. We cannot know if JFK would have, but HRC was right Johnson did it. And he knew as a result his chances of being elected were nil.

Nothing! You’re already smarter, kinder, more honest, insightful, and ambitious, even better looking, than 99.99 percent of the people who now live in abundance, health, and harmony.

True? You know it is!

It’s not about being a better you, nor even a more deserving you. It’s about knowing you’re already both.

AND THAT IS THE TRUTH AS I SEE IT……..SO BELIEVE IT AND I WILL TALK WITH YOU TOMORROW…

HUGGGGGGGGGGGS!!!

I have a co-worker who if given a camera and a room by himself could do the same type of video. He has a major problem with Christians and women in power. Booth in one and he can bairly contain his anger at work. And by the way, he is an Obama supporter.

#359 LaureyPuma on 09.03.08 at 12:52 am

Hi everyone,

Murphy, I have a suggestion for a prowl. I would like us (and everyone we know) to do a “black out” of MSNBC and CNN in protest of their bias, sexist, sensationalistic, non-news for one week or one day or something. I think we should send emails and snail mail in advance to notify them of our intent and then do it. The media in this country is way out of line and they survive only by viewership. As you know, we have power in numbers.

Bruce 55555 and others:
Damn, I just can’t sell out my party. I can’t sell out the party of Bill Clinton. I can’t sell out the party of Al Gore. I can’t sell out the party of Hillary Clinton. Despite what I may think about her being forced out and forced to comply with so much. Despite how angry I am about even more stuff that I found out about the convention today, I just can’t sell out my party. Since I’m a former party leader (like former, from last week), I’ve been contacted 3 times in the last 4 days, once by the media twice by other county parties. I just had to send the media request over to the state chair of the organization of which I president of, locally. I just can’t, now, that the republicans convention looks the same as GWB, just tear apart the party.

AHHHHHH AND YET THEY STILL FAN THE RACIAL FLAMES. Damn this party, Damn this party, Damn this party. This is getting relegated to even lower levels. Stop saying vote for the BLACK GUY, DEMOCRATS. THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS. I guess I’ve become and perhaps on some level always was a silent dissident. I’m angry, i’ve resigned, I was clear to Democrats how i feel, I’ve sent back every request of money to the DNC, but I never said I was voting for McCain. I just simply said, NoBama. I just have gotten WAY more attention and requests for support and information than I have in the last 4 years of my executive term in my county party.

SouthJerseyPUMA,

Thank you! I am tired of these ObamaBots thinking they can slam everyone. I am a reg dem and I am voting for McCain /Palin in Nov. My parents have tried to talk me out of it but I told them he dosen’t connect with me on any level. If it was Hillary I would vote Dem in a heart beat. But it isn’t and I am voting the other way. I have already contacted our local RNC to help them anyway I can. I have already signed up to be a Poll Worker in Southern Ohio. Which from My experience will be voting McCain/Palin this year.

#367 Boots-and-Saddles on 09.03.08 at 12:57 am

I am one of the original Reagan Democrats coming from a large family of Reagan Democrats. We did not have a catchy little name like PUMA, and we maybe crossed over that November long ago for different reasons. Some afterward returned to their Democrat roots, while others made the Republican Party their new Party of choice. Whatever you decide, by God, I welcome with open arms any PUMAS and any other Democrat and Independent that does not like where the DNC is taking the Party, to join us this November to stop Obama.

Wow i am going to go out on a limb here. I am prepared to be attacked. So here goes.
Sex ed in k through puberty does not involve explaining the birds and the bees. It is complex and I have read very little, but what I did read was more about educating the teachers and enabling them to talk to the kids when needed. Kids in jeopardy may talk to a teacher that they see every day and be reluctant to talk to the school shrink. No one is advocating condoms to kids, but budgets go through under umbrellas so sex ad for elementary schools has been misinterpreted.

All of what I just mentioned being said, i’m very very angry and I just walked around today saying “I hate obama and I hate the DNC” and I’ve had somepeople inside the party ask what i’m doing for the election. I tell them I’m writing her in (which is NOT a vote for Obama) or voting present, or third party.

I suppose lucky for me, I live in TN. I have a pass. TN is still about 15 points up for McCain. So, my vote can be a legitimate protest vote without having to see myself and my party out.

God, that sounds like a politician. WTF…. ahhhh I’m one of less than a million in TN and one of 350 millions USA residents.

Just Nobama. Nobama.

#374 Gogandalf on 09.03.08 at 1:04 am

Just before the Senate left for break wasn’t it Joe Liberman that had been cornered and was on TV by NOBAMA – right in his face and Liberman looked like he could give a damn what NOBAMA was saying – probably he got word that Liberman was going to speak at the Rep. Convention —- I honestly thought that he would be McCain’s running mate.

ManAgainst #250, are you joking? I think you must be joking.

From wikipedia entry on Hillary Clinton:

“United States Senator

Main article: Senate career of Hillary Rodham Clinton
See also: United States Senate election in New York, 2006

First term
Upon entering the Senate, Clinton maintained a low public profile and built relationships with senators from both parties.[198] She forged alliances with religiously inclined senators by becoming a regular participant in the Senate Prayer Breakfast.
Clinton has served on five Senate committees: Committee on Budget (2001–2002),[200] Committee on Armed Services (since 2003),[201] Committee on Environment and Public Works (since 2001),[200] Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (since 2001)[200] and Special Committee on Aging.[202] She is also a Commissioner of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe[203] (since 2001).[204]
Following the September 11, 2001 attacks, Clinton sought to obtain funding for the recovery efforts in New York City and security improvements in her state. Working with New York’s senior senator, Charles Schumer, she was instrumental in quickly securing $21 billion in funding for the World Trade Center site’s redevelopment.[205][206] She subsequently took a leading role in investigating the health issues faced by 9/11 first responders.[207] Clinton voted for the USA Patriot Act in October 2001. In 2005, when the act was up for renewal, she worked to address some of the civil liberties concerns with it,[208] before voting in favor of a compromise renewed act in March 2006 that gained large majority support.[209]
Clinton strongly supported the 2001 U.S. military action in Afghanistan, saying it was a chance to combat terrorism while improving the lives of Afghan women who suffered under the Taliban government.[210] Clinton voted in favor of the October 2002 Iraq War Resolution, which authorized United States President George W. Bush to use military force against Iraq, should such action be required to enforce a United Nations Security Council Resolution after pursuing with diplomatic efforts. (However, Clinton voted against the Levin Amendment to the Resolution, which would have required the President to conduct vigorous diplomacy at the U.N., and would have also required a separate Congressional authorization to unilaterally invade Iraq.[201] She did vote for the Byrd Amendment to the Resolution, which would have limited the Congressional authorization to one year increments, but the only mechanism necessary for the President to renew his mandate without any Congressional oversight was to claim that the Iraq War was vital to national security each year the authorization required renewal.)[201]

After the Iraq War began, Clinton made trips to both Iraq and Afghanistan to visit American troops stationed there. On a visit to Iraq in February 2005, Clinton noted that the insurgency had failed to disrupt the democratic elections held earlier, and that parts of the country were functioning well.[211] Noting that war deployments were draining regular and reserve forces, she co-introduced legislation to increase the size of the regular United States Army by 80,000 soldiers to ease the strain.[212] In late 2005, Clinton said that while immediate withdrawal from Iraq would be a mistake, Bush’s pledge to stay “until the job is done” was also misguided, as it gave Iraqis “an open-ended invitation not to take care of themselves.” She criticized the administration for making poor decisions in the war, but said it was more important to solve the problems in Iraq.[213] Her stance caused frustration among those in the Democratic party who favored immediate withdrawal.[214] Clinton supported retaining and improving health benefits for veterans, and lobbied against the closure of several military bases.[215]
Senator Clinton voted against President Bush’s two major tax cut packages, the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 and the Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003.[216] Clinton voted against both the 2005 confirmation of John G. Roberts as Chief Justice of the United States[217] and the 2006 confirmation of Samuel Alito to the United States Supreme Court.[218]
In 2005, Clinton called for the Federal Trade Commission to investigate how hidden sex scenes showed up in the controversial video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.[219] Along with Senators Joe Lieberman and Evan Bayh, she introduced the Family Entertainment Protection Act, intended to protect children from inappropriate content found in video games. In July 2004 and June 2006, Clinton voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment that sought to prohibit same-sex marriage.[216][220]
Looking to establish a “progressive infrastructure” to rival that of American conservatism,[221] Clinton played a formative role in conversations that led to the 2003 founding of former Clinton administration chief of staff John Podesta’s Center for American Progress;[222] shared aides with Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, founded in 2003;[223] advised and nurtured the Clintons’ former antagonist David Brock’s Media Matters for America, created in 2004;[223] and following the 2004 Senate elections, successfully pushed new Democratic Senate leader Harry Reid to create a Senate war room to handle daily political messaging.[223]
Reelection campaign of 2006
In November 2004, Clinton announced that she would seek a second Senate term. The early frontrunner for the Republican nomination, Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro, withdrew from the contest after several months of poor campaign performance.[224] Clinton easily won the Democratic nomination over opposition from anti-war activist Jonathan Tasini.[225] Clinton’s eventual opponents in the general election were Republican candidate John Spencer, a former mayor of Yonkers, along with several third-party candidates. Throughout the campaign, Clinton consistently led Spencer in the polls by wide margins. She won the election on November 7, 2006 with 67 percent of the vote to Spencer’s 31 percent,[226] carrying all but four of New York’s sixty-two counties.[227] Clinton spent $36 million for her reelection, more than any other candidate for Senate in the 2006 elections. She was criticized by some Democrats for spending too much in a one-sided contest, while some supporters were concerned she did not leave more funds for a potential presidential bid in 2008.[228] In the following months she transferred $10 million of her Senate funds toward her presidential campaign.[229]
Second term

Clinton opposed the Iraq War troop surge of 2007 and supported a February 2007 non-binding Senate resolution against it, which failed to gain cloture.[230] In March 2007 she voted in favor of a war spending bill that required President Bush to begin withdrawing troops from Iraq within a certain deadline; it passed almost completely along party lines[231] but was subsequently vetoed by President Bush. In May 2007 a compromise war funding bill that removed withdrawal deadlines but tied funding to progress benchmarks for the Iraqi government passed the Senate by a vote of 80-14 and would be signed by Bush; Clinton was one of those who voted against it.[232] Clinton responded to General David Petraeus’s September 2007 Report to Congress on the Situation in Iraq by saying, “I think that the reports that you provide to us really require a willing suspension of disbelief.”[233] In September 2007 she voted in favor of a Senate resolution calling on the State Department to label the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps “a foreign terrorist organization”, which passed 76-22.[234]
In March 2007, in response to the dismissal of U.S. attorneys controversy, Clinton called on Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to resign.[235] In May and June 2007, regarding the high-profile, hotly debated comprehensive immigration reform bill known as the Secure Borders, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Reform Act of 2007, Clinton cast a number of votes in support of the bill, which eventually failed to gain cloture.”

I have come to a new conclusion tonight about clinton spokespeople being out in the media. Because I’ve seen some of the former Bill Clinton staff in the media tonight and I screamed at the TV, GET THOSE CLINTONS OFF THE TV. In that moment, I realized something. We need the Clinton spokespeople out there. That is probably what the Obamites are yelling at their TVs. They want the Clintons and their former staff and spokespeople to disappear. No, we need them out there because even if they are for Nobama, They are being seen. They are REMINDING the party leadership and reminding the voters that the Clinton HALF or more than HALF still exists and will matter in this election no matter the outcome.

not the stations. its the advertisers who support the shows. If all of the women who felt offended by the egregious misogony were to select one advertiser on an MSNBC program and wrote to them expressing them to desist their support at first there would be dismissal. But a repeated attack on the companies that are complicent in the anti-women behaivor. The very effective video at the beginning of the thread filled me with rage. That balding no neck fat little fucker will probably marry an insecure little girl that will permit him to take his self loathing out on her. Sexism racism homophobia xenophobia i believe are based on a shallow almost emoty self image that desperately needs to put something else down to feel good about themselves. Poor things must be very lonely there.

#399 MattsMarie on 09.03.08 at 1:29 am

I was trying to think of what Pumas could do that would have the most impact on defeating BHO in November and a fun idea came to me. We could sponsor Pumas for McCain or Pumas for “Fill in the Blank Other Candidate” get togethers. They wouldn’t have to be at your home if you are worried about Obot backlash. They could be as simple as meeting at a Starbucks or a local library.

It would be a fun way for Pumas to get together in person and generate new converts and have a positive influence on the election. On McCain’s website, you can sign up to sponsor an event and they will post it on their site. Of course, if you aren’t voting McCain, you could have an event for another candidate. It would be a way for the 18 Million disenfranchised Clinton supporters to get together and share their experiences and educate new Puma who are uncertain whether or not to vote with the Dem Party. Activities could include group viewing of the caucus fraud video, friendly discussion of reasons to vote NoBama, and snacks of course. It’s just a thought. Seems like more fun than going door to door. Everyone seems kind of down since the convention and I thought this would be a good way to get people together to support one another and bring along new members. It could have a viral effect on the election.

#400 Boots-and-Saddles on 09.03.08 at 1:31 am

Our 10:00 News breaks the convention story this way: “The Republicans get back on track with their Convention today, but the controversy continues to surround their VP choice Sarah Palin”. I am getting so sick of these attacks on her.

I think it was Mark Twain who said “a lie will travel around the World before the truth gets out of bed.” That is what we are seeing here. The NY Times is now admitting their story of Palin being a one time member of a third party is not true. But few who heard the lie will ever here the truth. Even on this same 10:00 news they repeated the original NY Times claim.

NY Times correction.

I think you have hit the nail on the head. I have done a little research and education is really the answer. I really does start with the teacher and THE PARENTS. I think because of all the you can’t do this and you can’t do that of the past 30 years a lot of parents don’t know how to educate their children. My idea would be that when children are about 10 or 11 the parents would be offered a packet of educational material and a offer that they could talk to school nurses or counselors, with or without their child. By 12 or 13 the school could offer optional sex education classes that would include the parents. In high scool keep the classes optional, but let parents know that counselors are available for their child and/ or them. If the education material is medical in nature and each year is based on the childs age level, I believe parents will appreicate it and we will end up with young adults who are more able to make better judgement calls. Just my thoughts

Take care and Be careful

Such statements come from the media and fromthose that want to defeat a bill. The references to sex ed in k thru 6 are about the educators and not about being explicit with children. Before I go to bed I found this on Heidi’s website. Remember how we were looking for how the voting turned out at Denver and we couldn’t find it on the internet?
Here is what Heidi found:

The newest evidence of the wickedness of the current crop of DNC leaders is the fact that nobody in the DNC is willing to supply the following information: how the delegates actually voted in their private morning caucuses on the day of the roll call rigamarole orchestrated by Democratic Party state and national leaders. At those meetings the state party leaders, made fearful of any sort of “floor fight” (read “honest, open, legitimate, unrigged roll call vote”) cajoled, pressured and demanded that delegates pledged to Senator Clinton switch their votes to Senator Obama. Wickedness.

I have been informed by various sources that delegates cannot get, from either the DNC or their State party chairs the following information: the actually tallies and ballot sheets from the morning caucuses. This means that nobody can check whether in fact Clinton delegates did switch or which of them did and which of them did not.

There is every reason to ask for this information if one cares about the Democratic Party’s integrity which is rapidly reaching the vanishing point. When delegates ask for this information they are being told things like “We don’t have copies of the ballots” or “We are too busy with campaigns”. They are being told, in essence, to take a hike; process be damned, all that the Democratic Party cares about is result, with no heed to how it is achieved.

That type of thinking brought America an attorney general and a President who decided torture is not torture if it gets you what you think you want.

The DNC’s own rules disqualify secret ballots at the convention. If the Party does not release full and verifiable tallies and ballot sheets post haste, they are not only in violation of this rule, Party officials become ever more indistinguishable from the man who stole Florida and deprived Al Gore of the Presidency in 2000.

Voting rights are at the foundation of any legitimate democratic institution. Ballots disappearing, delegates being given the runaround as they try to verify the result that was announced at the convention – these are wicked tactics, much like the threats to de-accredit delegates who at all tried to treat the Democratic Party Convention as the “deliberative body” is is supposed to be, according so “delegate guru” Phil MacNamara over on the DNCC website.

The purveyors of such political wickedness are tearing apart the Democratic Party and corroding its foundations. I for one shall remain immeasurably distanced from them and from the candidate who has capitalized on the leadership’s wicked ways.

If you care to join those working hard to distance the current DNC leadership from their power, please consider a contribution to The Denver Group. For a summary of The Denver Group’s post convention objectives go here.

I couldn’t watch the whole thing either, but skipped ahead to see what was special about the ending. For those who didn’t get that far, he closes by saying that Down children are ugly and nobody wants to look at them, and Palin is going to inflict all that ugliness on everyone.

Well, he himself, IMO, is a great argument for retroactive abortion. Just sayin’.

Heidi, is this grounds for challenging the legality of the nomination? Requesting that it be annulled? That would be a real zinger!

#245 hENRY & #409 shasta2001…..Such incredible ideas for a video..timely and moving. Perhaps we could make it viral on the net and send to the media, especially Greta & Lou Dobbs. This must be done !!

TennesseePuma can you hear us ??!! And all of the other very talented artists, please use these ideas…shame the b***ards.

Honestly, I wish Sarah Palin would have a true “Harper Valley PTA’ moment Wed. eve and call them all up on their hypocrisy ..name names and let them have it..oh well, only in my dreams. Bet she is taking names for later pay back, she seems like a real fighter. I pray that Hillary doesn’t have anything to do with this mess..unless, of course, she stood up and demanded the media leave the 17yr old girl alone PERIOD.Opps, I am dreaming again.

Why is the focus on her teenage daughter? We should be talking about Governor Palin. All of us have known she was on the short list for a long time. If the press had been doing their jobs all this stuff would have come out a long time ago.

I think the Republicans have them set up pretty well.

I told her I respected her but not her decision. Nothing since. With the Dnc I did a reply asking to be removed at least 50 times. The DNC, the big media, the delegates have not even acknowledged our voices. In fat they have ridiculed them. They will come home, the party doesn’t need them ect. Pick a sponsor. One at a time. It is time to hit back. If a company places its ads on a chris matthews show they are sponsoring that show, Lets stop it, for every young lady out there. No more will they get away with this noise!!

women make up over 50% of the voters but i believe close to 90% of the consumers. Step up. Say F U to those who adverize on msnbc. Or don’t and let the media tell you what you think.

#458 EWard on 09.03.08 at 3:25 am

Pumas

I found this info about sponsors and the cable news network:

“Roger Domal, a vice president and the national sales director for Fox News, a unit of News Corporation…”

“Mr. Domal said he viewed the partisan nature of cable news as a programming issue rather than an advertising one. “Partisanship doesn’t scare advertisers. What scares advertisers is lower viewership,” he said.”

“The news networks have had no trouble signing up sponsors for their coverage of the primaries and conventions. CNN, owned by Time Warner, said its sponsors included AT&T, Cisco Systems, Exxon Mobil, Hyundai, AARP, and Sharp Electronics. MSNBC said that, compared to its election coverage in 2004, it had raised five times the revenue from advertiser sponsorships this year. ”

Going to sign off for the night …Good night all

#459 henry on 09.03.08 at 3:33 am

#458
well why don’t we see. none are willing to lose a sponsor. the same conglomerates are over them all. which is why i said lets start with one. A major msnbc sponsor hears a big resounding no and then hears it again. They will listen. It doesn’t even matter if the compettitor is advertising on a saililar program If we yell a collective no to pampers and let them know we will bu huggies they will listen. THE CONSUMER WELDS TREMENDOUS POWER BUT ONLY COLLECTIVELY.Rise up. The LGBT community has done it why can’t women.

#466 58states1 on 09.03.08 at 4:05 am

I can’t believe it.

I mean, if you went back in time about 8 years and told me I would:

* Voluntarily watch the Republican convention and actually CHEER
* Consider Dems “Public Enemy #1″
* Donate to the Republican candidate
* Campaign for him
* Be excited about the VP choices
* Find it difficult to refrain from screaming at the Democratic candidate on TV (and mute him at every opportunity)
* Try not to curse at newspaper headlines…well at least not in public. Too much.
* Be woken up in the morning by my political rage
* Yes, watch Fox and consider it the actual news
* Ditch Keith for Bill and entirely redefine my opinions as to the Worst Person in the World
* Convince liberal friends they can’t vote for the Dem.
* Wish I HAD a car to put the McCain sticker on
* Make a list of grievances against the Dem party at large, Congress, and plan to do all I can to vote em out
* Consider the Democrats the big nasty corrupt establishment party
* Endlessly blog and comment against the Democratic nominee and party.
* Lose track of how many more days Bush is in office
* Consider registering w/ a party for the first time (lifetime unaffiliated) just to prove the point of exactly HOW SERIOUS I am about this…

Well, let’s just surmise that I would be wiping away tears of helpless laughter with one hand and coffee off the monitor with the other.

Congratulations, Democratic Party.
You have done the IMPOSSIBLE.

#467 PPHJ on 09.03.08 at 4:33 am

Interesting. I took you guys seriously right up… until…

The xenophobic/kleptocratic/fundamentalist/men in the Republican Party; the weak-willed/ineffectual/bullying/crybaby men (like this maniac) in the Democratic Party

…now.

A question for Murphy and others… just wondering if you’ve ever studied past movements, for women or otherwise. Have you looked at what works and what happens when the messenger gets lost in the message?

What happens when those whose eyes you want opened become glazed over by a lack of purified intent? I don’t mean a lack of focus… that you have.

I feel like I’m preaching… apologies.

So in the end, if I told you what I really thought, I’d say you’ve taken on a rather large task. To convince a system that breaks down when it becomes too large: that, not only should it be fixed, but that it CAN work for 300 million.

If you’ve read this far, thanks for your time.
If you haven’t deleted this post, thanks for the space.

ManAgainstObamasSexism and Clearly Clinton, I am an independent and a conservative, and female.

I’m not posting here too often either, but I also know that this is my safe place to come back to after doing battle with Obama supporters on other sites.

I can renew and refresh just by knowing that I am not alone out there.

I usually vote Republican, but there was a point this year when I was okay with Obama being President. Then I woke up and realized what a serious situation this was for our country and supported Hillary financially. Once she suspended the campaign, then I sent my money to the McCain campaign.

Bottom line for me is that Obama cannot be president. I would have continued to finance Hillary, and vote for her or McCain. When Hillary was no longer a choice, the only choice was for McCain. I will not waste my vote by staying home, or writing in someone.

I don’t always feel so welcome in the Hillary camps either, but I do know that there are more people here who feel as I do that there is one thing that must remain, No Obama and the nasty politics that would allow our country to act and behave like a third world country that has no respect for anyone who does not want their candidate to the point of being willing to be a part of election fraud, no one who supports an army of trash talking, women haters should be allowed to be President, and Obama should never get inside of the White House in 2008 by race baiting and women being viewed as less than human. If you can talk to a woman the way so many have done, what is it they really feel?

Since I have suspected for months that Obama’s entire run is based on his need to do what his parents could not do, and do it with revenge in the back of his mind, I have not found anything to make me believe otherwise.

Obama supporters have done the race, sexism, ageism, and threatening posture ever since I hit a message board quite a few months ago. I was also appalled by the news media…really appalled that it took journalists in the UK to break open the details about Obama that the U.S. press will not touch. All the while the news media in the U.S. joined in on the trash talk about Hillary.

Please do not leave this site, or write to me, rather than moving on. It has always bugged me that the media and Obama supporters keep refering to the Pumas as older women, when I know well that a lot of Pumas are men…but the media will not admit to that. My nephew, my brothers are included in this group and write on other boards.

Every person who really knows why Obama should not be President needs a safe home and Please do not leave without contacting me about setting up another safe site or waiting for the people on this board to recognize that there are Republicans, Independents, and Men who also wanted Hillary, but we will not vote Obama and need a chance to talk also.

Murphy, could you set up a site for Puma’s who are men, independents, or republicans who supported Hillary, and are not going to vote for Obama no matter what, so we can chat without being ignored? If not then I will ask you to contact me so I can set up another site. I have also felt that this was a site primarily for Democrats and that is fine. But we have others who don’t fit anywhere else either. Like me. Independent, usually ends up voting republican, but wanted to support and vote for Hillary, but am now back on the McCain side, since I know too much to vote for Obama.

#469 Libby on 09.03.08 at 5:05 am

Almost forgot to add, the guy on the video is so representative of the many posters on boards, who will just trash people, curse, carrying on like it is their mission to catapult Obama into the White House. Obama hired a bunch of freaking nuts, or inspires them, or they are just blinded by him. Reality hits home when his supporters open their mouths

.

REPOST & CONTINUE TO REPOSTI’m posting this again as I believe we have until the end of the week to try and get Obama knocked off the ballot in all 50 states. . Send by fax so they are aware of what’s coming and then take to P.O. and have letters certified with a return receipt. I’ve already done Florida and so have several others. Someone is keeping a list of states but we are trying to get all 50 states represented. Feel free to use points in my letter but don’t copy it verbatim as I’ve already sent to Mukasey & Friedrich. Subject: Objections to Senator Obama being placed on ballot in Florida as Democratic Presidential nominee

Gentlemen:
I am a registered (YOUR STATE) (Dem-REPUB-IND) and a long time voter. According to the Constitution of the United States, Article II, Section 1, Clause 5:
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States
I respectfully request that the laws of the U.S. Constitution be enforced. Furthermore, please demand that the Democratic Presidential Nominee Senator Barrack Hussein Obama be required to provide (1) a certified copy of the vault Certificate of Birth; (2) a certified copy of the Oath of Allegiance he would have had to take between the ages of 18-21 to regain his U.S. citizenship after leaving Indonesia; and (3) verify that he registered in the selective service (he would have had to do this within six (6) months of turning eighteen (18).
Before Senator Obama is named on a (YOUR STATE) state ballot for the office of President, the foregoing documents must be produced. Unless Sen. Obama produces evidence to the contrary, I believe he:
• Is not a natural-born citizen; and/or
• Lost his citizenship when he was adopted in Indonesia; and/or
• Has dual loyalties because of his citizenship with Kenya and Indonesia.
Numerous questions raised about Obama’s background have no satisfactory answers:
• Where was Obama born? Hawaii; an island off of Hawaii; Kenya; Canada?
• School records list Obama as a citizen of Indonesia. Was he a citizen of Kenya, Indonesia and/or Canada?
• Explanation of the names he has used: Barack Obama, Barry Soetoro, Barry Obama, Barack Dunham, & Barry Dunham.
• Illinois Bar Application – Obama fails to acknowledge use of names other than Barack Hussein Obama,
As Attorney Generals of the U.S. and (YOUR STATE), Secretary of State of (YOUR STATE), and(USE IF YOU SEND TO YOUR GOVERNOR) Governor of (your state) , I request that you investigate the possible forgery of a Hawaii Certification of Live Birth and require Sen. Obama to answer whether he was ever a citizen of Indonesia and further require him to submit all documentation that led up to him being a U.S. citizen. Senator Obama has refused and/or failed to provide proof of his birth as a natural born U.S. citizen. A falsified birth certificate has circulated the Internet and has been proven by experts to be a forgery. Additionally, a lawsuit has been filed against Sen. Obama, Berg v. Obama, Civil Action No. 08-cv-4083 regarding his qualifications to become President of the U.S.
As a natural citizen of the U.S. and a dedicated American patriot, I am adamant for the security of our nation that we choose our elected officials as required in our federal and state constitutions and laws.
Please require that Senator Obama provide absolute proof that he is a natural born citizen of the U.S. before his name is placed on the (YOUR STATE) state ballot for President of the United States. Thank you.

Good Morning PUMAs,
I hope everyone is having a great day. I did email Bill O.
***************************************
Bill,
Please say it isn’t so. I know you want the chance to interview Obama. Heck, I have a few questions for him myself. McCain’s night is Thursday. McCain showed some class and respect and waited to announce his VP pick.

Obama reminds me of some tacky mob boss. Never gets his hands dirty but he always knows what is going on in his organization. He knows how rude his supporters are in person and online.

Give him hell Bill. Make him feel the pressure but on a different night.

The guy that made that video is the definition of low-life. It would have been so funny if in the middle of the video his mom would have yelled “Honey, dinner’s ready. Come up out of the basement and eat sweetie”.

“Ah…but mom…I’m filming a hate video against women right now….do I have to???”

The guy is clearly a bum living off of his mother and father probably. Apparently he was not taught respect or even hygeine for that matter at a young age. He’s a pathetic waste of space in our world.

This is the real reason Obama is jumping up and down like a little leprachaun that the princess knew the answer to the puzzle!

article on time mazazine internet via cnn

“On the Richter scale of Internet search energy, Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s announcement on Friday that he had chosen Sarah Palin, the current Governor of Alaska, as his running mate measured a magnitude 10. If you compare the number of searches for “John McCain,” “Barack Obama” or “Joe Biden” to those for “Sarah Palin,” there’s no contest. In just two days, the number of U.S. Internet searches for “Sarah Palin” reached a peak greater than any other political personality in the last three years. In the week ending Aug. 30, 2008, searches for Gov. Palin were almost four times as popular as Obama searches, eight times as popular as McCain searches and over 10 times more popular than searches for Biden.”

Now, while of course, many are searching for “hot photos” from nude, to bikini, to bust size…(now isnt that interesting) it must really p-o the self absorbed b-o

I can just hear him crying to Axlerod now, “but I want them to be searching for me, I want my searches”

Good Morning Murphy You Probably Don’t Know Me Because This Is The Second Time I’ve Posted Here And I Usually Don’t Hang Around For A Response,Call It Impatient If You Like But I’ve Supported Senator Clinton Starting From Her 2000 Senate Election And It Were My Belief Then That She Would Be Our Next President Of The United States,Even Before She Announced It 8 Years Later So I Have To Say It Were A Huge Let Down For Me,I Am Also An African American Male Whom Is Very Disappointed With My Community For Voting For Hussein Just Because He’s Black,Which He Is Not But He’s Seem To Have Convinced 90% If You Believe What The Polls Put Out That He Is,So There’s No Need To Go Into That Because I Believe It’s A Loss Cause,I Really Don’t Think They Would Care Even If He Came Out And Told Them Himself.

I Am Prior Military I Spent Some Time At One Point Or Another In Just About All 57 States,Oh I’m Sorry I Meant 50,I Wonder What Made Me Say Something Idiotic As That.I’ve Also Volunteered,& Signed Up For Poll Monitoring In My State,For Me It’s Not A Hard Choice From Here At All I Will Be Supporting McCain/Palin As The Next POTUS,VP It’s Not My First Choice But It’s One That I Have Adopted,And One I Can Live With.Voting For Mr Obama Is Not An Option,Under Any Circumstances Even If He Ran Unopposed.

You See This Were My First Time In My Entire Life That I Have Been This Interested In Politics And That’s All Because Of Senator Clinton Am I Angry Of Course,Am I Bitter Yes, Am I Going To Vote Against My Belief For All Those Years (Watch Me),So It Then Came Down For Me Were Who Told The Best LIES That One I Would Vote For,I’ve Long Gave Up On A Particular Party,As I Vote For The Candidate,(Yes) I Voted For W,Why! Because In My Opinion And Don’t Forget I’m Prior Service That Al Gore Were Weak On Foreign Policy,And When I Say That I Believed Like OBAMA He Would Have Turned This Country Over To The Islamist Terrorist,That Were A Chance I Weren’t Willing To Take And Now Even Though W Is Not Popular Among Voters These Days He Weren’t In This Alone,80% Of The Country Were In As well,And Now That It’s Become An Unpopular War W Gets The Blame, I Personally Don’t Agree,But That’s My Constitutional Right,As Is Yours.

Lastly I Just Want To Remind Voters,& Undecided Voters That This Country Cannot Afford A White House With Mr Obama As Head Of All America’s Government The Man Sleeps With Strange Bedfellows That In It Self Should Be Reason For Doubt,But For Some Reason It’s Not So I’m Compelled To Vote For McCain/Palin, I Also Thought About All The Other Options But For Me Not Voting Will Give Mr Obama A Vote So Voting For The Rep Ticket It’s Like Two Votes For McCain, Am I Making Any Sense,He Also Chose A VP Who Had Two Failed Attempts At The Presidential Level,Theirs A Reason For That,He’s Not Wanted At The Top Governmental Level Because He’s A Loose Cannon,And His Vote Tally In Both Attempts Totaled Around His IQ.

These Two People (Obama/Biden),Cannot,Must Not,Become This Nations Top Governmental Officials.

So goandersan You Can Add Me To Your List Of Prowl Completed Which I Really Received Yesterday And Completed Upon Reading The Prowl For The Day.

Classy video. Republican or not the media is doing the same thing to Sarah that they did to Hillary. As if being female and having a family makes her less qualified. Now they are trashing her daughter. Somehow that makes the Palin’s bad parents. Does that make Obama’s polygamist Father a bad parent?

Still waiting for the media to vette Obama.

I’m sure many of us know good hard working family’s like the Palin’s. Teenagers happen to get pregnant even with the best upbringing.

The media so transparent and in the tank for Obama it is sickening.

Just quick note that I removed the 10 minute teaser for THE AUDACITY OF DEMOCRACY from my page at YouTube. I have become increasingly uncomfortable about it over the past four weeks, and when I saw this and several particularly offensive political clips on YouTube over the past couple of days, I decided that I just didn’t want to contribute to the noise any longer. Most importantly, I don’t want anything on line to diminish or trivialize the serious effort that THE AUDACITY OF THE DEMOCRACY, which I am now editing, is going to be in its final form.

Um…Ok…That was a video into the mind of a big mouthed idiot. Every other word was B**** or F***. I am sorry, when ever other word is a curse word, your intelligence level drops in my own humbled opinion. I tend to tune you out as non-credible. And i do believe there was a lot of Cow Patties flying out of his mouth. Now then, my opinion: Women are by far not stupid, ignorant individuals. They will look into the History of Mrs. Palin and see whether she is someone they will vote for. Personally, I have seen many positives about her, which has cemented my vote for McCain. Now, I will be saddened if Hillary is not the first female President, but I would not be unhappy if Mrs. Palin makes it. In 2012, one way or another women will have their ceiling FINALLY broken! YAY WOMEN! Would it be so bad if Sarah Palin wins the Presidency?

Anyway, I hope no woman out there listens or pays any attention to filth talkers like this dude in the video. He honestly seems to be unable to think, just flow bilge from his mouth.

HUGS TO THE WOMEN, and all P.U.M.A.’s!!!!

Thank God I do not have the heart to be a hired assassin because putrid ‘xenophobic/kleptocratic/fundamentalist miscreants in the Republican Party; the weak-willed/ineffectual/bullying/crybaby men (like this maniac)’ would be an endangered species.

God bless PUMAs, yes and the New Democratic Party. God bless.
