Daddy’s Darlin’s bus arrived at 12:30am this morning and was STRANDED at the bus station for hours before we knew she needed a rescue. Now after a long nap and a shower she’s a new woman and just back from prowling in Confluence Park with Antifish, Prplvette85, granddaughters, film crew, and IPotter.
MarylandPuma is talking to media from Casper, Wyoming and ABC World News tonight.
The ravishing red-headed Riverdaughter is being interviewed in an upstairs room somewhere.
Ladyboomer is handing out fruit and planning tonight’s radio show on No We Wont Radio with Sheri — you know SHE’S not going to miss HER show.
Delegates are circulating and Danceswithpumas is taking care of everything.
Patrick is making the trains run on time.
We’ve adopted Erika from the Abu Dabi newspaper. ABC, the AP, CBS, French Radio, and the Casper Wyoming News are all here.

We are on the lookout for Betty Jean and the Puma RV — she is picking up Lady Boomer and Sheri at the airport and headed over to the HQ! Diane and the 300 Petition gang are working their media magic downtown. Will post photos tomorrow.
I want to apologize again for mixing up the time and missing the radio show tonight. It was my fault and I’m really sorry.
Headquarters opens officially tomorrow at 10am (mountain time, mountain time, mountain time). It’s been over 8 years since I was in a different time zone and I still don’t quite get it.

Opening Headquarters

Sitting beside dances with pumas while mamapuma, patrick, and taffy unpack boxes of flyers and signs and set up laptops. Our Puma PAC HQ is humming. We are a half-mile from the Pepsi Center, right across the street from the Denver Police Headquarters. Dave, the world’s greatest landlord, had his guys washing our windows and glueing down the last pieces of carpet. The people of Denver must be the friendliest folks in the world.
I’ll post photos of the HQ later tonight.

It’s not just because it’s named after Maya Angelou’s famous poem “Rise,” but that it will also close with the lighting of candles to pay tribute to Hillary and all of her achievements, while also symbolically reigniting the flame of America’s great Democracy and Lady Liberty’s torch. Candles will Rise as participants at Cheesman Park and communities across the nation will recognize Senator Clinton’s achievements in one harmonious gesture of celebration. This will be a marvelous opportunity for those who worked on Hillary’s behalf and her supporters as well as all who believe in and appreciate our Liberty and Democracy to come together and enjoy an afternoon and evening of festivities. Meet and Greet at Puma PAC Headquarters, 10am-5pm
All Pumas, Hillary Supporters, and Friends of Puma PAC WELCOME! Come and meet al the Pumas from around the country who are gathering in Denver for the Convention. We will have signs, buttons, stickers, t-shirts, and other goodies for you to take with you on your travels through Denver and beyond. At Puma PAC HQ we will also have food and drinks, nothing fancy – but enough to keep you refreshed and rested. Bathroom facilities and parking on the premises. Our Puma PAC HQ is where ALL of the info you need will be: schedules, maps, instructions, shuttle rides, supplies to make your own signs, etc. Plan to be here OFTEN during the week. MEDIA AND DELEGATES welcome at all times.

Audacity of Democracy Screening and Party, Puma PAC Media Loft, 8pm
This is an invitation only event for Puma PAC members, Puma Friends, members of the Press, and Delegates. We will be screening the latest installment of our documentary, The Audacity of Democracy, at 9pm – plan on arriving early – we will close the doors when we reach capacity. Cash bar and hors d’oeuvres.
MONDAY, AUGUST 25th

Puma PAC HQ will be open ALL DAY and evening as a resource center, meeting place, and rest stop. You can pick up signs, t-shirts, goodies, and refreshments here anytime. This is the place to gather BEFORE the Beautiful Protest and Rise at Cheesman Park. We will be making signs and handing them out. You can get your t-shirts and buttons and candles here. We will have some shuttle vans/cars taking people over to the Park – but if you have your own car, please bring it! We’ll put you to work helping get people to the park! MEDIA AND DELEGATES WELCOME.

Beautiful Protest and Rise, Cheesman Park, 4-10pm
In Commemoration of Hillary Clinton’s Historic Presidential Campaign! What makes this historical event special, isn’t just that it’s named after the Maya Angelou’s famous poem “Rise,” but that it will also close with the lighting of candles to pay tribute to Hillary and all of her achievements, while also symbolically reigniting the flame to America’s great Democracy and Lady Liberty’s torch. Hundreds of participants are expected to attend, and candles are planned to Rise across the nation, community by community, in one harmonious gesture of participation. There is no doubt that this will be a marvelous occasion for everyone who has worked on behalf of Hillary Clinton, as well as all her supporters/fans who just believe and appreciate our Liberty and Democracy will all have an opportunity to come together and enjoy an afternoon and evening of festivities. This is a free event and all Hillary supporters/fans are welcome. PumaPac activities in the park will begin at 4p.m. and run until 6 p.m. The Rise speakers and entertainment will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 10 p.m., with the national “Rise” candle salute to Hillary, Democracy and Lady Liberty to Kickoff in Cheesman Park at exactly 9:45 MDT.
