Clinton was amazing

A few superficial observations is that Michelle looked pissed that everyone loved her so much.

And I can’t help but contrast the fact that Michelle tried to connect to the crowd in her speech last night and failed so miserably… but Clinton had everyone in tears before she even uttered a word (just from the introduction). That was the difference between experience and inexperience… Greatness and mediocrity. Gosh Hillary was great.

#13 LivingGrace on 08.27.08 at 1:35 am

Murphy, Blue, jenni~~~~love you all. What’s your take on all this, Murphy?

Also… something tells me Denver is hoping with lots to do after Clinton’s speech so we might not see any messages from Murphy for a while. She might be fighting battles behind the scenes still.

Hi PUMA friends, I just wanted to say goodnight and leave you with my thoughts on the Hillary speech. As I said earlier, I am a conservative McCain voter but I deeply respect Hillary Clinton and admire the PUMA movement.

I thought Hillary’s speech was wonderful but she clearly said what she had to say. Interesting how she never said that Obama was ready to lead. Yes, she said that she will support him but she has to say that. IMO she didn’t deliver a slam dunk for Obama. She made it more about her, not BO. Everything she said about him was attached to her … I believe xyz and so does Obama. I think she gave the best speech of her life.

After reading what Murphy posted about what the DNC is up to, I just have to wonder what’s up Hillary’s pants suit. She did not release her delegates, she didn’t try to pre-empt the PUMA effort. I really think that she’s praying that all hell breaks loose tomorrow.

This is what I think, she was 45 mins late for her talk, … Why? Because maybe there was some behind the scene drama going on about all of this. If she knew before her speech that she had 400 signatures, then she probably figured that after her speech she could easily get the other 426.

I think this is so exciting … I think we are going to see some major fireworks tomorrow!! Good job PUMA!!!! From one sistah to another, and a few brothers, I love y’all! Goodnight!

#28 jenniforhillary on 08.27.08 at 1:41 am

living–wasn’t it almost hollywood like the way the camera keep going from his face to hers…

sort of scary and strange….

#29 LivingGrace on 08.27.08 at 1:41 am

Tomorrow is a new day. PUMA’s never give up.

#30 shasta2001 on 08.27.08 at 1:42 am

Hillary’s speech was fantastic and moving. What was interesting was the looks on the faces as she spoke. Sadness and complete admiration. It seemed like the camera people were searching for people who seemed like happy Obama supporters, but found women and men with serious, sad faces and ones entirely taken by what she was saying. It was great to see all of the Hillary signs. I am surprised Obama allowed them.

#31 MacAllen on 08.27.08 at 1:43 am

Mzebest - absolutely spot on. In order to reach the audience a speaker has to communicate empathy - and shared emotion. Hillary does - that’s why we are all in tears. Michelle can’t do it because she carries little empathy if any for anyone - you can’t be that angry at the world and whitey and do it.

#32 kat in your hat on 08.27.08 at 1:43 am

To all critics who are reading us: You assume Obama will win. So why be bothered with US? HUH?

Critics expose a SEVERE lack of confidence by attacking Pumas.

Hillary’s Presidential speech was the best I have ever heard in my life. Minus the BO endorsement. ;)

Hillary did everything right and she is FREE.

BLAME Obama for not unifying us. Hillary has now bent over backwards for him, NO OTHER candidate has EVER EVER EVER done as much for the other.

That’s IT!!!!!!

Hillary’s obligations are DONE.

It’s ALL on Obama now to convince her full 18 MILLION supporters to support him.

GOOD FU–ING LUCK Obama! You will need it, because your supporters have been SO nasty, they smear your image and your BS hope for unity every chance they get by disgracing the Clinton’s and Hillary’s supporters. Now where did they learn that from???????

John McCain: I hope you were listening tonight!! You better come up with something to offer WOMEN. You better make it EASIER for me to vote for you!!!

For Women! For Hillary! For Pumas! For Always!

#24 jenniforhillary

:D We’re all looking forward to HER acceptance speech. :P Hey we can dream can’t we? I really wish the DNC would open it’s eyes and see the world around them. Now. On another note. :P I’d like to see BHO follow THAT act!

mick

Goodnight! Tomorrow is another day. And bear in mind. Hillary Clinton is many things but she is NOT a liar. This is why she hasn’t said that she believes he’s ready to lead. Why lie about something everyone knows about?

#35 NoMoreInFL on 08.27.08 at 1:44 am

God always says that He allows those that elevate themselves like *61 and think they are so proud and in one swift move of His Hand…they are REMOVED!

#45 MN on 08.27.08 at 1:49 am

Oh, it did not come at all…

Here it is.

HI PUMAs!

This is my first post on this site. I have been lurking here for awhile and after yesterday I need to comment.

DONT GIVE UP!!!!!!

Hillary’s speech was amazing last night. She did what she had to do. She is in between a rock and a hard place and she hit the ball out of the park.

Now if the polls go up, it is because of her and that does not look good for Obama. If they go down, it is because she was not on the ticket when she clearly demonstrated she is in this for the issues not for the ego. If she had blown it on Obama’s face and told him like it is, she would have been blamed.

When ever women (and men!) stand up for something that is not right, they are branded. Women are often branded “hysterical.” This is what seems to be happening with the MSM. If PUMA gives up now, the MSM have won. PUMA being out there, challenging the MSM, makes them look BAD and of course they are going to retaliate. But PUMA needs to keep fighting. Maybe the fight has moved on from Sen. Clinton, but it is still a fight for DEMOCRACY and people’s right to choose their own candidate and having a voice in the process.

Please,

NO GIVING UP

NO BACKING DOWN

“well behaved women seldom make history”
Laurel Thatcher Ulrich

Thanks.

#46 ProudPumaJen on 08.27.08 at 1:50 am

While I was watching Hillary’s speech, I noticed not only the sad faces of many in the crowd, knowing that Hillary should have been the nominee, but also the sour look on Michelle Obama’s face. I also saw the pride in Bill and Chelsea’s faces. It’s not over yet, and I hope tomorrow brings a wonderful surprise. If it doesn’t, i’ll still continue to fight.

Also, how great was Ann Price Mills? I think she said what a lot of us are feeling right now…

MacAllen, nice to see another professional writer on the blog. :-)

#52 InuHanyou1701 on 08.27.08 at 1:54 am

You know I love how the news commentators are whining. “She only said his name 16 times!” I’m sitting here thinking “What? I wouldn’t have said his freaking name ONCE” I mean what was she supposed to do?

“I, Barack Obama, will, Barack, to, Barack, accept, Barack, the, Barack, Democratic, Barack, Nomination, Barack, this Thursday, Barack Obama!”?! Come on you idiots in the news. Get real. Would you like some cheese and crackers to go with that whine?

#53 mzebest on 08.27.08 at 1:54 am

#17 KYkitten

Thanks for posting the full version… I had only seen the shorter version but your post was awesome to watch.

#54 MacAllen on 08.27.08 at 1:54 am

#32 and #39 - as a conservative walking around Denver with a Hillary pin and shirt today, I had the thought, walking through a group of Obama people selling buttons with that man’s face on them. . . that if these people all knew who I was - someone who writes a conservative blog, who is known as such in the internet world, who will vote McCain, and who is a huge Hillary fan. . . .would I be, well, SAFE in this crowd? I didn’t think so.

And it occurred to me that never in my near 50 years until now, have I once not felt safe in the presence of the other political party. Ever.

Obama supporters are certainly one of a kind. Many are as narrow and intolerant as their messiah. And as scary.

#55 MN on 08.27.08 at 1:55 am

To clarify,

PUMA challenging the MSM makes the MSM look bad. Howard Dean and Ed Rendell have already acknowledged the bias of the media, more or less…

Thanks.

P.S. I cannot stand Margery Eagan from Boston Herald. She seems to be a MoDo wanna-be… I’m referencing to her sorry excuse of an article yesterday.

#60 mzebest on 08.27.08 at 2:00 am

#51 MacAllen

Bingo…

I’ve had that exact same thought throughout this campaign. He’s managed to divide this nation into the concept of “you’re either for me or you’re against me” — which is the same exact premise his Trinity BLT Church is built on.

I’ve often had the thought that this is the first time I feel like my life is threatened by the people representing the other candidate. I remember a professor in college lecturing on how wonderful this democracy is. How we take it for granted that there’s a change of power every 4 or 8 years without any battles or fights that threaten our way of life… it’s a peaceful exchange of power and that’s an incredible thing. I wonder what that professor thinks of this election cycle?

You could not have said that better. This is why so many of us stand by our statements that we are fighting for our country. BO inspires hate and this is evidenced every day by his supporters.

#75 Henerietta on 08.27.08 at 2:08 am

I just had a long conversation with my sister in Atlanta, Georgia, many many miles from Indiana. We were both watching the commentary, flipping back and forth between Greta and CNN.

I am so wound up that I probably will not sleep much. My house and office are a wreck, as I was that way all day.

If this speech doesn’t convince the delegates and super delegates that they are about to make the biggest mistake they have ever made if they continue on the path they are on, nothing will.

Do we have enough delegate signatures for a floor fight? If we don’t please, Denver crew, work all night to get them!

Keeping the faith……………

#76 Kerri on 08.27.08 at 2:09 am

No, Michelle looked, as though she were trying to keep aloof, but there was a fire in her eyes. Like she was biting her tongue. I don’t understand what was drawing her ire, but the again, 20 years of Wright could make her angry, no matter what she heard?

McCain has put his life on the line for our country and been willing to die for our country which is more than can be said for BHO OR Michelle. I swear I want to walk right up to BHO and pull his lapel pin off and go

“LOOK EVERYONE! He’s a fake! His American Flag lapel pin with 57 stars on it comes right off! Wait… that’s not a lapel pin… it’s a cufflink… He’s not wearing a lapel…?”

#80 Kerri on 08.27.08 at 2:10 am

BTW: those who haven’t switched parties yet: I urge you to do as I will, once the nomination is in place for Obama I will switch my party affiliation to Independent. I have and will again, right now, suggest a prowl promoting such an idea…the more we have do so at one time the more effective it will be.

#81 4Hillary on 08.27.08 at 2:11 am

But I was happy to see that Bill looked great otherwise…trim, not red-faced, nice haircut…

He was totally on tonight!

#85 Henerietta on 08.27.08 at 2:14 am

I think Bill and Hillary Clinton’s love story is one that gets better and better. He obviously loves and respects her as a person. His admiration and affection is evident every time he watches her in one of these events. That they have suffered some personal hard times makes it ever more touching. They are the best example I know of people who survived the fire by pure determination. That shows in everything they do.

#86 gina613 on 08.27.08 at 2:14 am

I am not saying PUMA is about hurt feelings, but how ironic BO wants us to get over our “hurt feeling” and vote for him, when he can’t get over his. He could of select a VP that would have handed him the Presidency. He couldn’t put his country above his ego. Why would anyone vote for him?

I’m thinking those were to US, PUMA’s. Maybe I’m just really narcissistic, maybe I’m THAT egotistical…but when she said that I heard, Kerr, keep going.

#92 Henerietta on 08.27.08 at 2:18 am

I think Hillary made it clear to him that she would not accept the VP spot. She doesn’t want to totally destroy herself!

Local rumor has it that Senator Byah turned him down.

Wouldn’t it be great if Hillary manages to get the nomination tomorrow, and Byah is her running mate?

I have been waiting for the right day to switch to independent. When Sen Clinton suspended, 4th of July and finally decided the day after the faux convention would be the most symbolic. Know one will probably notice but it’ll get me some satisfaction. Who knows maybe Murphy will make that Friday’s prowl– everyone who can get to a local elections office to go in wearing Hillary stuff and asking for a registration change.

It has to be a smart exodus…some states, such as Mass., have an important primary (we can vote Kerry out in Sept!!!) where we need to remain Dems.

Also, I read somewhere that the 2010 census would redraw the districts according to political affiliation.

Dang….there is possibility there!! To lay at Dean’s feet the loss of Dem territory.

We need someone really savvy to direct this!!!

#95 4Hillary on 08.27.08 at 2:21 am

McCain may be a monster, or maybe he isn’t. Honestly I don’t know much about him. But that is not what matters now. The only thing that matters is BO does not get elected. God forbid he makes it to the white house. The country would never be the same.

I believe if there is a big enough exodus from the party, the pundits MAY report on it. They may not like shaming their chosen one but that kind of news might be too delicious to pass up. At least I hope so

#97 Kerri on 08.27.08 at 2:22 am

I, too, have held back from switching parties until such time as Obama becomes the nominee. Can we, perhaps, get some direction as to how best to do that before Thursday? Because, I guess, Thursday is the day. THerefore,I, Kerri PUMA, say to you all who are capable: If you have not left the democratic party yet, do so on Thursday. Change your affiliation to Independent…you can still vote any way you choose, it will, however, inform the DNC officials of your supreme disapproval, to the point of…beyond, beyond.
Please, whoever’s gone through this process before, post a link for us to do so on Thursday. I’ll make sure it’s circulated.

#100 dcinlasvegas on 08.27.08 at 2:24 am

Henry, I’m waiting until the day after the GE to change my party affiliation to independent. That way in all the facts and figures for the election they can show me as a Democratic who voted for McCain.

Careful Kerri. The Feds are pretty tuned into threatening things like that and we wouldn’t want to lose a PUMA. (Hopefully I don’t offend you with this warning. If I do, I’m sorry! :( )

#103 Kerri on 08.27.08 at 2:27 am

As am Independently registered voter, I would imagine that at Census, or any other time, I get to choose my affiliations. Regardless, I can always switch parties. Now is the time to let the Democratic party know they SUCK!!
FUCH THEM!!! My ire knows no BOUNDS. I’m sorry. I am. I realize that in that anger I…can offend and scare others, I’m that passionate. I don’t really care, lol. But uhm… yeah, I’m NOT going to be voting democratic this election and I WANT those in charge to KNOW IT! I WANT ANYONE WHO CARES< to KNOW< that I a once STAUNCH democrat WILL NOT BE such come November. Changing party affiliations at this point, come THURSDAY? I think is the PARAMOUNT step I can take to voice that opinion.

I don’t want to misrepresent the rules so I think a more experienced PUMA might want to answer this but the rules, as I interpret them, are that you are welcome to say what you wish but please try not to purposely offend someone. If offense is taken, please apologize and don’t repeat it. Am I wrong in that assessment of our rules PUMAs? Please please PLEASE correct me if I am.

Oh. And welcome to the PUMAs!!!

#105 4Hillary on 08.27.08 at 2:29 am

If BO gets elected I wonder if he will put a basketball hoop in the oval office. Hmmmmm

#106 redraz9 on 08.27.08 at 2:29 am

For those talking about changing their party affiliation, let me urge you to do some research first. My State does not allow you to vote in down ballot races if you are independent.
If you want to vote someone out, changing might not be a good idea. So please check the rules for your state.
Something I have been thinking about; A lot of people changed to independent right after Hillary conceded, they are not being counted in the number of dems not voting for BO. So the numbers could be even higher than they think.

#107 Dem4Hillary on 08.27.08 at 2:31 am

I just want to thank EVERYONE who is in Denver representing me. If the roll call gets stopped in NY tomorrow, then my vote and the work I did out of state does not count and does not matter. So, every PUMA who is in denver protesting and getting heard, you are representing me.

I think it’s safe to say that the general rules are that no one here will vote for Obama… but we do not try to promote a particular course of voting preference beyond that. We also require that everyone shows respect for others on the blog and no foul language. Pretty basic common sense and good manners type of rules.

#118 4Hillary on 08.27.08 at 2:41 am

Thanks henry for posting the rules.

I hope my comment about basketball did not sound racist. I have read that many US presidents have had a lot to do with baseball and BO has made it clear that he likes to play basketball so if it sounds racist it is not meant to be taken that way.

So true….She is not defeated. The Hillary Democrats are still inspired…amazing speech.

Hillary has a lifetime of service…Obama has the gift of words. Hillary’s actions in behalf of women and children speak for themselves.

Obama is going to give a big speech in front of a multi million dollar mock up of the Whitehouse….Have Democrats lost their minds? All of the sudden we are trying to sell a guy as a “common man” with this kind of setup! Perhaps the Democratic muckey mucks and most certainly the MSM are happy with this selection….but I am not inclined to “get over it” and never will “fall in line”

Hillary was courageous and wonderful. I only hope that I get to see her someday as President.

This election season has been eye-opening for me.

Thanks Murphy….for creating unity for so many Hillary supporters who appreciate your efforts!

4Hillary: not nice about the hoop, smacks a little of racial stereotyping…
As far as Bill and his infidelity, forgiveness is a sign of high character…that, and if you saw his 60 Minutes interview, Bill did go through a lot of counseling and was pretty honest and contrite about how he should have worked all his issues out when he was younger, but foolishly ignored them…things don;t always work out between couples, but it looks to me like the good Hillary sees in Bill far outweighs the bad…in any case, she knows him best by far and so I myself wouldn’t presume to second-guess her judgment.

Thanks to his ego, Obama could not even attempt to select Hillary for VP; now most of the Hill supporters (and some Independents) can be on the same page and to unite against him.

On another note, the Pumas in Denver have done such a great job, they have definitely captured the media as now news/ videos of PUMA are all over everywhere.

So proud of you, Pumas in Denver!

#136 Kerri on 08.27.08 at 3:04 am

I am supposing that at 2:42 am EST I’m hearing repeat words from the “non” news stations…and yet, I am heartned to have just heard Brian Williams say that if BO wants to be effective in his speech they (his speech writers) had best focus a few minutes on womens’ acchievements and right and all those cracks in our ‘glass ceiling’.” Apparently, our Hill, spoke loud enough, on so many points, but her voice on women’s issues, and we PUMA’s, in case you hadn’t noticed, are mostly women…they feel he needs to address that.
I know, as you do, that…it’s far too little, too late.
But I have to say, that people, when they learn I’m a staunch Hillary supporter, ask me, “are you a feminsit”? and I say, uhm…no. Because..okay, I have NO education to speak of. My father is a republican, he’s the most racist and sexist person I’ve ever known. Uhm. I bring him up because, while I’ve heard MANY other voices in my life that were racist, wether they knew it or not. and while I’ve often questioned my OWN stnadingon that issue, because–well, because, frankly, black people are the most racist people you’ll ever meet, for the MOST part,I can’t say all…. uhm…
the question has been put to me at this juncture: Are women indiscriminately discriminated against? I, having no education, no uhm…chances in society, I’ve never come up against this paragim.

#116 4Hillary on 08.27.08 at 2:45 am yeah that makes sense since he likes war.

I really don’t see any evidence that McCain “likes” war; he is often misquoted on his Iraq War stance: he actually said that it would be ok for us to keep some troops in Iraq IF it was like our presence in Korea, where no soldiers were being wounded or killed.
Obama, on the other hand, has always said we should keep the 100,000 Blackwater and other non-accountable armed paramilitary mercenaries in there indefintely (and recently said he could additionaly see keeping 60-80,000 regular US military troops in there as well). He strikes me as the kind of person who as President would use force whenever he felt it politically expedient, whereas I feel McCain would use it when he felt it actually necessary. Which is worse? It depends on how good the judgment and other political skills of each is.

Brian Williams is delusional. We reject BO as the presumptive nominee because he cheated. The only way he can redeem himself is by leaving the race.

MSM - Our nation is a democracy which means one person, one vote. It cannot be gamed by anyone or any party. The days are gone with backroom deals. We are in the age of the Internet.

SENATOR CLINTON EARNED THE VOTES OF 18 MILLION AMERICANS. SENATOR OBAMA CANNOT GOVERN A NATION WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT. HE DOESN’T HAVE IT NO MATTER WHAT HE SAYS IN A SPEECH.

Every time that anyone on NBC or MSNBC opens their mouth, I feel like I’m in a third world country. The entire crew at the Peacock Network needs to be detoxed.

#155 Asian4Hillary on 08.27.08 at 3:37 am

I think NObama will start his speech in his “Ancient Greek Temple” with this line and being an egoccentric and narcissistic that he is, he will revise it:

Friends! and countrymen! Lend me your ears (koolaid drinkers, bought and paid for superdelegates cut off their ears and toss it in the direction of DA MESSIAH); I come here not praise Nobama but to bury him!”

All koolaid drinkers will start chanting: THE ONE! THE ONE! Oprah is standing behind the curtain giggling, jumping with joy, she can’t wait to spend the night at the Lincoln bedroom in the Whitehouse.

NObama use his preacher voice to fool his cult followers, but his teleprompter went black, can’t see a single word!

Ladies and gentlemen, you’re about to see the end of political career of a man named Barack Hussein Nobama. His best buddy Ayers buried him out of politics never to be seen again nor his name will be heard even in whisper. Dean will give his trademark scream, veins popping out of his neck, Nancy Pelosi will lose all her hair, even her eyeshadow start rolling down her cheeks, Reid will have a look of surprise on his face like a deer caught in a headlight.

You know NObama can’t have a large audience without a concert. I mean the man say the same thing over and over again. If I’m in Denver I’d watch Bruce Springsteen concert but I wouldn’t vote for NObama. I’d rather have my wisdom tooth pulled without anaesthetic than vote for NObama.

NObama is beyond desperation, he is hanging on for his dear life to save his career, he knew he is going to lose in November. The biggest problem of NObama is NObama himself. He is his father’s son, his old man was the same way in Kenya, talk down on people, know it all. He died a failure and hated by a lot of people. NObama sowed hatred last primary and hatred he shall reap. His supporters use the MOST vile, venomous language I’ve come across, that reflects on NObama. His wife is just like him, full of hatred.

Hillary Clinton was awesome tonite and you can tell that she is still a force to be reckoned with by the number of critical articles about a perfect speech. Basically, she scared the pantsuits off of them. Her whole performance said, “Follow THAT, Barack!”

Hillary did a most incredible speech. How could nayone not see that she is so right for POTUS. I was in awe and felt she actually campaigned for herself more so than the few referrals to XO. And as for MO, she is full of cintempt and hate. Here eyes five her away.

I wonder what is happening with the law suit regarding Obama’s birth certificate. Did they get Biden to get of it? What is happening with American today? Back room deals etc…… I love Hillary but I will never unite behind Obama. I am disappointed with Hillary. She knows that Obama will be bad for this country. Shouldn’t she put her country before her party?

#204 PortiaElizabeth on 08.27.08 at 6:41 am

Can anyone tell me where to go to look at pix from Denver? I’m dying to see what’s going on. Soooo wish I could be there.

#205 nernina on 08.27.08 at 6:43 am

I’m in Seattle and couldn’t sleep and didn’t get a chance to see Hillary’s speech as I had to work and then take my daughter to get school clothes and shoes…

I am reading that she wore and orange pantsuit? That’s great! When I first read that PUMAs were going to have orange t-shirts and balloons I thought yuk! Cheetos color…

But I do see the wisdom of standing out and I can’t recall ever hearing that she’s worn an orange pantsuit before… she’s a PUMA!!!

I loved her Harriet Tubman reference (read the transcript of the speech) and am so proud of all the PUMAs who are there in Denver representing the millions of us who can’t be there. Thanks!!!

#206 PortiaElizabeth on 08.27.08 at 6:45 am

Oh Wow! I didn’t even think of the connection with orange! It’s a message and BO doesn’t even know.
Excellent!!

Good morning - say, were you posting last nite? I thought I saw you…who/what got at TexasSherry and JenniforHillary?

#210 lovesdogs on 08.27.08 at 6:53 am

Hillary gave PUMA’s a nickname “sisterhood of the traveling pantsuits”. Gotta love it.

199- Be glad the turnout was low in FL. It was a local primary election with lots of judges and school board members.

The new optical scan ballots are going to cause big trouble in GE if they are not fixed. Instead of offering ballots in english, spanish, and creole, they jumbled all three languages on the same ballot. The little ovals you have to fill in were so faint, I had trouble finding them. Plus, everyone in the precinct has to line up to use one “reader/scanner”. I can see a lot of 7am voters in the GE running late for work and just giving up.

I am in Broward so I do not know if other counties did a better job. But we are a gigantic county heavily loaded with Hillary supporters. So I do hope the GE is a little more streamlined.

Morning :-)
Yes, yesterday was just nail biting for most, so I tried to stay up, but drift in and out of my nap, hehehe!

How are you? What’s the feeling?
I hate the MSM, the Obots are nasty already, and they are supposed to be the uniter’s followers.

There have been no moderators for the last couple of days, the trolls came out of the woodwork, and the regulars emotions are all over the place, it was just chaos. I hope the regulars would take time, and come back soon :-D

August 26, 2008
DENVER — Bill Clinton appeared to undermine Sen. Barack Obama again Tuesday.
The former president, speaking in Denver, posed a hypothetical question in which he seemed to suggest that that the Democratic Party was making a mistake in choosing Obama as its presidential nominee.

He said: “Suppose for example you’re a voter. And you’ve got candidate X and candidate Y. Candidate X agrees with you on everything, but you don’t think that person can deliver on anything. Candidate Y disagrees with you on half the issues, but you believe that on the other half, the candidate will be able to deliver. For whom would you vote?”

Then, perhaps mindful of how his off-the-cuff remarks might be taken, Clinton added after a pause: “This has nothing to do with what’s going on now.”

#213 Headclunker on 08.27.08 at 6:57 am

Dear PUMAs,

Please remember that Obama Supporters are our friends. They are soon going to be able to take the advise they have been giving us and go vote for Hillary Clinton as the next President. Retract claws. Be nice.

#214 1gypsy4mc on 08.27.08 at 6:58 am

211 MadLogic - I know, I had to step back and try to ignore them, but am going to send an email today. They just have to try to hurt others.

I thought Hillary’s speech was off the charts!! I could not have done it like she did. I feel she sent a message to the brave women and few brave men to keep marching, picketing, and never stop…..I know it was for the suffrage, but it was for us also!!

#215 Lin4Hill on 08.27.08 at 7:01 am

bless you, PUMAs in Denver.

#216 1gypsy4mc on 08.27.08 at 7:03 am

The march was on FOX - I wish I knew some of the PUMAs. I’m not a real emotional type that cries easily, but I never even got through Hillary’s introduction..

#214 1gypsy4mc.

Still 2 more days of drama to go, so hang tight :-D
As to what happen to Tex/Jen, I remember a little of the spat thay have with others, but it was just chaos, and add to that confusion was at times people often refer to the wrong posts when replying.

#218 1gypsy4mc on 08.27.08 at 7:05 am

Murphy By the end of the evening the media was saying PUMAs………. not just the “lunch bucket democrats.” Greta says there’s a really “big” problem that the DNC isn’t recognizing - US!

Thanks for the PUMAs in Denver - you did great!!

As long as the U.S. Constitution-there is always a chance for Democracy to prevail. Ans so yes-Never stop believing because anything is possibel-Remember that!

Last night the PUMAS were trying to get the signatures needed from the Delegates so that they had to honor Clinton at roll call. Last time I looked last night they reached 400 Signatures. They need 20%.
