Evening PUMAs! I’m home. I heard Hillary’s speech was fantastic. I’m sorry I missed it. My mom recorded it for me though.
Cheer up. The Suffragists won their battle, and so will we. Check out my new PUMA blog:

MURPHY @@@@@@@@@@@@@ LOVE YOU !!
snow…thanks so much my heart really needed that
murphy–you did FANTASTIC on the radio I was screaming (could you hear me
Clinton was amazing
A few superficial observations is that Michelle looked pissed that everyone loved her so much.
And I can’t help but contrast the fact that Michelle tried to connect to the crowd in her speech last night and failed so miserably… but Clinton had everyone in tears before she even uttered a word (just from the introduction). That was the difference between experience and inexperience… Greatness and mediocrity. Gosh Hillary was great.
Murphy, Blue, jenni~~~~love you all. What’s your take on all this, Murphy?
Wonder if someone should tell *61 that this election is “not all about him”!
Thanks Murphy, MarylandPUMA and MamaPUMA for all you have done…I will be here until we accomplish righting all the wrongs!
Godspeed! Hillary in 2008!

no matter what they say or do they will never be her. perhaps there is a god after all…
Night KENDALBLUE!
I posted what I thought in the last thread.
After I broke down crying and talked to my tribal elder.
I still think Bill was somehow controlling the camera.
His looks and MO’s looks told me that what we were seeing and hearing isn’t necessarily what it really happening.

Thanks.
Also… something tells me Denver is hoping with lots to do after Clinton’s speech so we might not see any messages from Murphy for a while. She might be fighting battles behind the scenes still.

InuHanyou1701……….. nite nite
Hi PUMA friends, I just wanted to say goodnight and leave you with my thoughts on the Hillary speech. As I said earlier, I am a conservative McCain voter but I deeply respect Hillary Clinton and admire the PUMA movement.
I thought Hillary’s speech was wonderful but she clearly said what she had to say. Interesting how she never said that Obama was ready to lead. Yes, she said that she will support him but she has to say that. IMO she didn’t deliver a slam dunk for Obama. She made it more about her, not BO. Everything she said about him was attached to her … I believe xyz and so does Obama. I think she gave the best speech of her life.
After reading what Murphy posted about what the DNC is up to, I just have to wonder what’s up Hillary’s pants suit. She did not release her delegates, she didn’t try to pre-empt the PUMA effort. I really think that she’s praying that all hell breaks loose tomorrow.
This is what I think, she was 45 mins late for her talk, … Why? Because maybe there was some behind the scene drama going on about all of this. If she knew before her speech that she had 400 signatures, then she probably figured that after her speech she could easily get the other 426.
I think this is so exciting … I think we are going to see some major fireworks tomorrow!! Good job PUMA!!!! From one sistah to another, and a few brothers, I love y’all! Goodnight!
living–wasn’t it almost hollywood like the way the camera keep going from his face to hers…
sort of scary and strange….
Tomorrow is a new day. PUMA’s never give up.
Hillary’s speech was fantastic and moving. What was interesting was the looks on the faces as she spoke. Sadness and complete admiration. It seemed like the camera people were searching for people who seemed like happy Obama supporters, but found women and men with serious, sad faces and ones entirely taken by what she was saying. It was great to see all of the Hillary signs. I am surprised Obama allowed them.
Mzebest – absolutely spot on. In order to reach the audience a speaker has to communicate empathy – and shared emotion. Hillary does – that’s why we are all in tears. Michelle can’t do it because she carries little empathy if any for anyone – you can’t be that angry at the world and whitey and do it.
To all critics who are reading us: You assume Obama will win. So why be bothered with US? HUH?
Critics expose a SEVERE lack of confidence by attacking Pumas.
Hillary’s Presidential speech was the best I have ever heard in my life. Minus the BO endorsement.
Hillary did everything right and she is FREE.
BLAME Obama for not unifying us. Hillary has now bent over backwards for him, NO OTHER candidate has EVER EVER EVER done as much for the other.
That’s IT!!!!!!
Hillary’s obligations are DONE.
It’s ALL on Obama now to convince her full 18 MILLION supporters to support him.
GOOD FU–ING LUCK Obama! You will need it, because your supporters have been SO nasty, they smear your image and your BS hope for unity every chance they get by disgracing the Clinton’s and Hillary’s supporters. Now where did they learn that from???????
John McCain: I hope you were listening tonight!! You better come up with something to offer WOMEN. You better make it EASIER for me to vote for you!!!
For Women! For Hillary! For Pumas! For Always!
LMAO @ Michelle ODRAMA. hahahaha

Goodnight! Tomorrow is another day. And bear in mind. Hillary Clinton is many things but she is NOT a liar. This is why she hasn’t said that she believes he’s ready to lead. Why lie about something everyone knows about?
God always says that He allows those that elevate themselves like *61 and think they are so proud and in one swift move of His Hand…they are REMOVED!
Hillary in 2008! Have faith…no bigger than a mustard seed to move a mountain into a sea! PUMAS…we have moved the mountain!
Ditto, Kat, Ditto!!!
Passions are running hard and fast tonight but one thing is true. Hillary was great. We know who the true winner is. H-I-L-L-A-R-Y! nobama, never! Go Pumas!
I hope McCain has the good sense to realize the potential gift he’s been given!!!
#32 kat in your hat
Don’t just blame Obumbus. His supporters are to blame as well so to you supporters who are such (Word censored) online and in person to us. You only have yourselves to blame
I don’t know if my post was posted multiple times. I got a message “please slow down. you are posting multiple times” or something to that effect, after I hit submit. I hit the submit button only once.
I am sorry if my post came out multiple times. It was not my intention.
I think today has lasted long enuff. good night and may the Creator bless you all, my friends. The rest of you, too.
Woops didn’t see that Kat sorry.
Well. Reinforcing what you said then. Sorry about that.
In future years, when the drama is over and the country is not at risk of losing it all, it will be interesting to see how the historians spin this whole event…
I hope that Hillary CLinton is gracious enough to give them all pardons after serving about 10 years in the fed. pen….
HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT NOW!!!
Goodnight LivingGrace
Oh, it did not come at all…
Here it is.
HI PUMAs!
This is my first post on this site. I have been lurking here for awhile and after yesterday I need to comment.
DONT GIVE UP!!!!!!
Hillary’s speech was amazing last night. She did what she had to do. She is in between a rock and a hard place and she hit the ball out of the park.
Now if the polls go up, it is because of her and that does not look good for Obama. If they go down, it is because she was not on the ticket when she clearly demonstrated she is in this for the issues not for the ego. If she had blown it on Obama’s face and told him like it is, she would have been blamed.
When ever women (and men!) stand up for something that is not right, they are branded. Women are often branded “hysterical.” This is what seems to be happening with the MSM. If PUMA gives up now, the MSM have won. PUMA being out there, challenging the MSM, makes them look BAD and of course they are going to retaliate. But PUMA needs to keep fighting. Maybe the fight has moved on from Sen. Clinton, but it is still a fight for DEMOCRACY and people’s right to choose their own candidate and having a voice in the process.
Please,
NO GIVING UP
NO BACKING DOWN
“well behaved women seldom make history”

Thanks.
While I was watching Hillary’s speech, I noticed not only the sad faces of many in the crowd, knowing that Hillary should have been the nominee, but also the sour look on Michelle Obama’s face. I also saw the pride in Bill and Chelsea’s faces. It’s not over yet, and I hope tomorrow brings a wonderful surprise. If it doesn’t, i’ll still continue to fight.
Also, how great was Ann Price Mills? I think she said what a lot of us are feeling right now…

#31 MacAllen
I totally agree.
And the link to that delegate at post #17 is amazing to watch. Something tells me she will vote for McCain if Obama is her other choice… but everything she says is totally right on the nose.
mini vee posted this fantastic link in the thread below and it’s worth reposting!
A delegate’s heartrending views on Hillary’s presidential speech:
#673 mini vee on 08.27.08 at 1:14 am
I haven’t been commenting on this site in awhile due to workload and family stuff…but I always lurk and smile to see how hard the PUMAs work to have our voices heard. Tonight, I’m simply heartbroken and reading your voices lift me up. Here is a wonderful youtube of Hillary’s delegate…I think she speaks for all of us.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmdhhW-zSeU
We are all cool.
Hillary stole the SHOW baby.
I need that opening video, waiting for someone to post it somewhere. Made me cry. Great stuff.
G’night Pumas.
Back to work tomorrow.
We can help to Protect the Nation and uphold Democracy.
P.U.M.A.
MacAllen, nice to see another professional writer on the blog.
You know I love how the news commentators are whining. “She only said his name 16 times!” I’m sitting here thinking “What? I wouldn’t have said his freaking name ONCE” I mean what was she supposed to do?
“I, Barack Obama, will, Barack, to, Barack, accept, Barack, the, Barack, Democratic, Barack, Nomination, Barack, this Thursday, Barack Obama!”?! Come on you idiots in the news. Get real. Would you like some cheese and crackers to go with that whine?
#17 KYkitten
Thanks for posting the full version… I had only seen the shorter version but your post was awesome to watch.
#32 and #39 – as a conservative walking around Denver with a Hillary pin and shirt today, I had the thought, walking through a group of Obama people selling buttons with that man’s face on them. . . that if these people all knew who I was – someone who writes a conservative blog, who is known as such in the internet world, who will vote McCain, and who is a huge Hillary fan. . . .would I be, well, SAFE in this crowd? I didn’t think so.
And it occurred to me that never in my near 50 years until now, have I once not felt safe in the presence of the other political party. Ever.
Obama supporters are certainly one of a kind. Many are as narrow and intolerant as their messiah. And as scary.
To clarify,
PUMA challenging the MSM makes the MSM look bad. Howard Dean and Ed Rendell have already acknowledged the bias of the media, more or less…
Thanks.
P.S. I cannot stand Margery Eagan from Boston Herald. She seems to be a MoDo wanna-be… I’m referencing to her sorry excuse of an article yesterday.
#49 InuHanyou1701
LOL!
Obama’s relationship with Ayers seems to be hitting at least Fox and not just Hannity.
It looks like Obama’s past is going to start haunting him.
#51 MacAllen
I don’t know if you believe in karma or not and I hope I don’t offend you by saying this but his supporters ARE mean. they are sadistic, obsessed, and defensive. But it will come back to bite them in the rear. Karma’s a (Word censored) and they will reap the seeds that they have sewn

#51 MacAllen
Bingo…
I’ve had that exact same thought throughout this campaign. He’s managed to divide this nation into the concept of “you’re either for me or you’re against me” — which is the same exact premise his Trinity BLT Church is built on.
I’ve often had the thought that this is the first time I feel like my life is threatened by the people representing the other candidate. I remember a professor in college lecturing on how wonderful this democracy is. How we take it for granted that there’s a change of power every 4 or 8 years without any battles or fights that threaten our way of life… it’s a peaceful exchange of power and that’s an incredible thing. I wonder what that professor thinks of this election cycle?
Pumas, before I say goodnight tonight, I thought I would pass along an image from our JSND brother NoQ:

Hello, seems we are loners, anyone else still up?
#55 InuHanyou1701
“Oh well… See?! Saying his name so much messes with your head!”
Ya ever notice that Biden can’t say his name without tripping over it in some manner?
“KEEP GOING”
“KEEP GOING”
“KEEP GOING”
That was what I heard Hillary say to us tonight.
In everything, KEEP GOING.
Keep going, Hillary. We are with you all the way, in every endeavor.
SHE is the one.
Hillary ’08.
Delegates and SuperD’s, do the right thing. Bring it home for Hillary.
#58 MadLogic
I’m still up. I’ve been quiet on the blog this week because I’m cramming for my own big conference next week. But I keep lurking.
Dude: that was the BEST speech of her life!
Hi MadLogic. Yes it would. It’s late on the East Coast though so most of our PUMAs there are going to bed. Hopefully it will pick up in a little bit though. Some of you are still here though. Yay!
mzebest
I tune out whenever Michelle, BHO, OR Biden come on the screen so I haven’t really noticed. The sight of them makes me physically ill.
Does he really? That’s HILARIOUS.
Kat
Goodnight! Sleep well. If your family or friends here you growling in your sleep, well at least WE will know what’s up.
Bill looked like he got punched in the nose. I wonder if Hillary popped him. God knows he deserves it!
HI FIREBELLE! It’s been too long!
#12 mzebest Totally agree. I’ve never thought about the reason for Michelle’s expression; thought she just always looks pissed.
#51 MacAllen
You could not have said that better. This is why so many of us stand by our statements that we are fighting for our country. BO inspires hate and this is evidenced every day by his supporters.
This is one reason that I have no qualms about voting for McCain. I have heard nothing but nice things about his supporters. And I believe that he actually does love this country.
#61 Firebelle Puma.
It has been a long night for everyone.
4Hillary: You think so? I really thouhgt he was was totally in love with his wife. Very, very proud and…well, in awe. I adored his adoration.
#63 InuHanyou1701
“I tune out whenever Michelle, BHO, OR Biden come on the screen so I haven’t really noticed. The sight of them makes me physically ill. Does he really? That’s HILARIOUS.”
Oh yeah… I haven’t heard him say his last name once without fumbling on the syllables. I suspect his difficulty in saying his name might be one of the reasons he gave up and said Barack America at the VP announcement speech.
I just had a long conversation with my sister in Atlanta, Georgia, many many miles from Indiana. We were both watching the commentary, flipping back and forth between Greta and CNN.
I am so wound up that I probably will not sleep much. My house and office are a wreck, as I was that way all day.
If this speech doesn’t convince the delegates and super delegates that they are about to make the biggest mistake they have ever made if they continue on the path they are on, nothing will.
Do we have enough delegate signatures for a floor fight? If we don’t please, Denver crew, work all night to get them!
Keeping the faith……………
No, Michelle looked, as though she were trying to keep aloof, but there was a fire in her eyes. Like she was biting her tongue. I don’t understand what was drawing her ire, but the again, 20 years of Wright could make her angry, no matter what she heard?
#69 Kerri
I agree. Bill looked supremely happy for Hillary.
It was a great speech, he was totally into it. Proud. Beyond proud. Amazed!
#65 InuHanyou1701
Yes, it has. It’s good to see you back too.
#67 sharpclaws
McCain has put his life on the line for our country and been willing to die for our country which is more than can be said for BHO OR Michelle. I swear I want to walk right up to BHO and pull his lapel pin off and go
“LOOK EVERYONE! He’s a fake! His American Flag lapel pin with 57 stars on it comes right off! Wait… that’s not a lapel pin… it’s a cufflink… He’s not wearing a lapel…?”
BTW: those who haven’t switched parties yet: I urge you to do as I will, once the nomination is in place for Obama I will switch my party affiliation to Independent. I have and will again, right now, suggest a prowl promoting such an idea…the more we have do so at one time the more effective it will be.
Yes I think he loves his wife but he’s cheated on her so many times. Like Hillary I could learn to live with it but I would never be able to forgive him. And every time I thought about it I would give him a pop.
#74 Firebelle Puma
Thank you Firebelle. It’s been insane busy over here. Glad to know I always have a place to come when I need a little positive energy!
Again, welcome back.
#76 Kerri
I really hope to see a mass exodus from the Democratic Party after he accepts the nomination (If he gets it). I have waited to change my affiliation for this.
#64 4Hillary on 08.27.08 at 2:05 am
Bill looked like he got punched in the nose. I wonder if Hillary popped him. God knows he deserves it!
—-
lol, 4Hillary!
My mom and I were on the phone as we watched and she said that’s a sign of excessive alcohol.
Ironically…a Ted Kennedy nose!
But I was happy to see that Bill looked great otherwise…trim, not red-faced, nice haircut…
He was totally on tonight!
I think Bill and Hillary Clinton’s love story is one that gets better and better. He obviously loves and respects her as a person. His admiration and affection is evident every time he watches her in one of these events. That they have suffered some personal hard times makes it ever more touching. They are the best example I know of people who survived the fire by pure determination. That shows in everything they do.
I am not saying PUMA is about hurt feelings, but how ironic BO wants us to get over our “hurt feeling” and vote for him, when he can’t get over his. He could of select a VP that would have handed him the Presidency. He couldn’t put his country above his ego. Why would anyone vote for him?
Yes I will be switching to Independent if the nominee is Obama. But I would prefer to joint the New True Democratic party. Where is it? When will it be born?
#78 InuHanyou1701
I hear you. This week is Hell Week for me every year as I prepare for a big conference that I both teach and exhibit at. I suppose it’s a good excuse not to get too wrapped up in watching the convention. But I sure would like to catch some of the Republican convention next week just to see how they fare against Obama.
Wow thanks for #17 the full version KYKitten. I am just heartbroken for her. . . look at the courage with all the people standing around with Obama pins looking at her. I hope to GOD no one threatens her tonight or some dumb thing.
I think she will end up finding out that McCain isn’t the monster he is painted to be. .. and I predict she’ll vote for him in November.
Well, ‘night all. Great work, great day, PUMAs. I am in absolute awe of you guys.
I loved her words of Harriet Tubman..EVERY one supported them: Keep going!
I’m thinking those were to US, PUMA’s. Maybe I’m just really narcissistic, maybe I’m THAT egotistical…but when she said that I heard, Kerr, keep going.
Regarding my own post #85 – What the heck am I thinking???? She’ll vote for HILLARY in November!! I have to go to bed. LOL
I think Hillary made it clear to him that she would not accept the VP spot. She doesn’t want to totally destroy herself!
Local rumor has it that Senator Byah turned him down.
Wouldn’t it be great if Hillary manages to get the nomination tomorrow, and Byah is her running mate?
#79 Inuhanyou
I have been waiting for the right day to switch to independent. When Sen Clinton suspended, 4th of July and finally decided the day after the faux convention would be the most symbolic. Know one will probably notice but it’ll get me some satisfaction. Who knows maybe Murphy will make that Friday’s prowl– everyone who can get to a local elections office to go in wearing Hillary stuff and asking for a registration change.
#76 Kerri
It has to be a smart exodus…some states, such as Mass., have an important primary (we can vote Kerry out in Sept!!!) where we need to remain Dems.
Also, I read somewhere that the 2010 census would redraw the districts according to political affiliation.
Dang….there is possibility there!! To lay at Dean’s feet the loss of Dem territory.
We need someone really savvy to direct this!!!
McCain may be a monster, or maybe he isn’t. Honestly I don’t know much about him. But that is not what matters now. The only thing that matters is BO does not get elected. God forbid he makes it to the white house. The country would never be the same.
#89 henry
I believe if there is a big enough exodus from the party, the pundits MAY report on it. They may not like shaming their chosen one but that kind of news might be too delicious to pass up. At least I hope so
I, too, have held back from switching parties until such time as Obama becomes the nominee. Can we, perhaps, get some direction as to how best to do that before Thursday? Because, I guess, Thursday is the day. THerefore,I, Kerri PUMA, say to you all who are capable: If you have not left the democratic party yet, do so on Thursday. Change your affiliation to Independent…you can still vote any way you choose, it will, however, inform the DNC officials of your supreme disapproval, to the point of…beyond, beyond.
Please, whoever’s gone through this process before, post a link for us to do so on Thursday. I’ll make sure it’s circulated.
Someone should uhm….destroy Governor Richardson.
Sorry for asking but what are the rules here? I am new today and I don’t know what freedom of speech is allowed.
Henry, I’m waiting until the day after the GE to change my party affiliation to independent. That way in all the facts and figures for the election they can show me as a Democratic who voted for McCain.
#94 Kerri
Careful Kerri. The Feds are pretty tuned into threatening things like that and we wouldn’t want to lose a PUMA. (Hopefully I don’t offend you with this warning. If I do, I’m sorry!
)
Kerri
I think richardson and mcCaskill should be deposited on a desert island with only each other to talk to. A fate worse than waterboarding.
As am Independently registered voter, I would imagine that at Census, or any other time, I get to choose my affiliations. Regardless, I can always switch parties. Now is the time to let the Democratic party know they SUCK!!
FUCH THEM!!! My ire knows no BOUNDS. I’m sorry. I am. I realize that in that anger I…can offend and scare others, I’m that passionate. I don’t really care, lol. But uhm… yeah, I’m NOT going to be voting democratic this election and I WANT those in charge to KNOW IT! I WANT ANYONE WHO CARES< to KNOW< that I a once STAUNCH democrat WILL NOT BE such come November. Changing party affiliations at this point, come THURSDAY? I think is the PARAMOUNT step I can take to voice that opinion.
#95 4Hillary
I don’t want to misrepresent the rules so I think a more experienced PUMA might want to answer this but the rules, as I interpret them, are that you are welcome to say what you wish but please try not to purposely offend someone. If offense is taken, please apologize and don’t repeat it. Am I wrong in that assessment of our rules PUMAs? Please please PLEASE correct me if I am.
Oh. And welcome to the PUMAs!!!
If BO gets elected I wonder if he will put a basketball hoop in the oval office. Hmmmmm
For those talking about changing their party affiliation, let me urge you to do some research first. My State does not allow you to vote in down ballot races if you are independent.
If you want to vote someone out, changing might not be a good idea. So please check the rules for your state.
Something I have been thinking about; A lot of people changed to independent right after Hillary conceded, they are not being counted in the number of dems not voting for BO. So the numbers could be even higher than they think.
I just want to thank EVERYONE who is in Denver representing me. If the roll call gets stopped in NY tomorrow, then my vote and the work I did out of state does not count and does not matter. So, every PUMA who is in denver protesting and getting heard, you are representing me.

You might want to read this… because if we do have to decide between a choice of BO or McCain… this article definitely gave me peace of mind that I will have no trouble voting for McCain over BO.

Hillary changed her website again and has some nice pictures up from the convention at her blog site.
OMG! we had such a great night at PUMA HQ~ wait till you see the pic’s!! wait till you see The PUMA MOBILE!!!

I think it’s safe to say that the general rules are that no one here will vote for Obama… but we do not try to promote a particular course of voting preference beyond that. We also require that everyone shows respect for others on the blog and no foul language. Pretty basic common sense and good manners type of rules.
Thanks henry for posting the rules.
I hope my comment about basketball did not sound racist. I have read that many US presidents have had a lot to do with baseball and BO has made it clear that he likes to play basketball so if it sounds racist it is not meant to be taken that way.
I think McCain would put in a shuffleboard game. LOL!!!
McCain plays chess from what I have been told
yeah that makes sense since he likes war.
what ever happened to the petition????
#114 4Hillary
I didn’t see your basketball comment. However, I used to play and referee as often as possible, so I love the game, even if, sadly, Obama does too. But I’ll tell you this … if politics were like basketball, Obama would have fouled out long ago for unsportsmanlike conduct.
117 texan4hillary
I had to leave for a little while so if they have said anything I missed it
well apparently obama was so exceptional a basketball player in high school that he was capable of a 3 pt shot before it was implemented. according to one of his works of fiction.
Al Gore invented the internet and Obama invented the 3 point shot.
Wow ..
I finally got a chance to see the clip of the Clinton Delegate on CNN (Price?) — what an amazing woman. I’m a big tough guy and it made me tear up a bit. Quite amazing. It put things into perspective.
Goodnight Pumas — you guys in Denver are amazing and to everyone out there working the email and calls to AGs, SofS’ Media etc etc– thanks …
.. Absolutley amazing ..
Goodnight
So true….She is not defeated. The Hillary Democrats are still inspired…amazing speech.
Hillary has a lifetime of service…Obama has the gift of words. Hillary’s actions in behalf of women and children speak for themselves.
Obama is going to give a big speech in front of a multi million dollar mock up of the Whitehouse….Have Democrats lost their minds? All of the sudden we are trying to sell a guy as a “common man” with this kind of setup! Perhaps the Democratic muckey mucks and most certainly the MSM are happy with this selection….but I am not inclined to “get over it” and never will “fall in line”
Hillary was courageous and wonderful. I only hope that I get to see her someday as President.
This election season has been eye-opening for me.
Thanks Murphy….for creating unity for so many Hillary supporters who appreciate your efforts!
Yeah, well if I were officiating, he’d be thrown out of the game for nonstop technical fouls long before he could take his first three-point shot.

Very interesting article about what’s going on in Denver
4Hillary: not nice about the hoop, smacks a little of racial stereotyping…
As far as Bill and his infidelity, forgiveness is a sign of high character…that, and if you saw his 60 Minutes interview, Bill did go through a lot of counseling and was pretty honest and contrite about how he should have worked all his issues out when he was younger, but foolishly ignored them…things don;t always work out between couples, but it looks to me like the good Hillary sees in Bill far outweighs the bad…in any case, she knows him best by far and so I myself wouldn’t presume to second-guess her judgment.

Thanks for reporting. That’s so cool that John McCain reached out to you guys. He has class.
Thanks to his ego, Obama could not even attempt to select Hillary for VP; now most of the Hill supporters (and some Independents) can be on the same page and to unite against him.
On another note, the Pumas in Denver have done such a great job, they have definitely captured the media as now news/ videos of PUMA are all over everywhere.
So proud of you, Pumas in Denver!
I am supposing that at 2:42 am EST I’m hearing repeat words from the “non” news stations…and yet, I am heartned to have just heard Brian Williams say that if BO wants to be effective in his speech they (his speech writers) had best focus a few minutes on womens’ acchievements and right and all those cracks in our ‘glass ceiling’.” Apparently, our Hill, spoke loud enough, on so many points, but her voice on women’s issues, and we PUMA’s, in case you hadn’t noticed, are mostly women…they feel he needs to address that.
I know, as you do, that…it’s far too little, too late.
But I have to say, that people, when they learn I’m a staunch Hillary supporter, ask me, “are you a feminsit”? and I say, uhm…no. Because..okay, I have NO education to speak of. My father is a republican, he’s the most racist and sexist person I’ve ever known. Uhm. I bring him up because, while I’ve heard MANY other voices in my life that were racist, wether they knew it or not. and while I’ve often questioned my OWN stnadingon that issue, because–well, because, frankly, black people are the most racist people you’ll ever meet, for the MOST part,I can’t say all…. uhm…
the question has been put to me at this juncture: Are women indiscriminately discriminated against? I, having no education, no uhm…chances in society, I’ve never come up against this paragim.

#116 4Hillary on 08.27.08 at 2:45 am yeah that makes sense since he likes war.
I really don’t see any evidence that McCain “likes” war; he is often misquoted on his Iraq War stance: he actually said that it would be ok for us to keep some troops in Iraq IF it was like our presence in Korea, where no soldiers were being wounded or killed.
Obama, on the other hand, has always said we should keep the 100,000 Blackwater and other non-accountable armed paramilitary mercenaries in there indefintely (and recently said he could additionaly see keeping 60-80,000 regular US military troops in there as well). He strikes me as the kind of person who as President would use force whenever he felt it politically expedient, whereas I feel McCain would use it when he felt it actually necessary. Which is worse? It depends on how good the judgment and other political skills of each is.

I have a very suspicious feeling that O’s speech will be a real doozy. He will do his best to talk about unity and how good Hillary is and about healing. It won’t work of course, but he will try.
ABC is reporting that they didn’t get enough delegate signatures tonight by the deadline.
I think the DP knew they were going to pull the rug out from under the legitimate roll-call vote when it was too late to do anything about it.
We’ll see. It’s not over.

Brian Williams is delusional. We reject BO as the presumptive nominee because he cheated. The only way he can redeem himself is by leaving the race.
MSM – Our nation is a democracy which means one person, one vote. It cannot be gamed by anyone or any party. The days are gone with backroom deals. We are in the age of the Internet.
SENATOR CLINTON EARNED THE VOTES OF 18 MILLION AMERICANS. SENATOR OBAMA CANNOT GOVERN A NATION WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT. HE DOESN’T HAVE IT NO MATTER WHAT HE SAYS IN A SPEECH.
Every time that anyone on NBC or MSNBC opens their mouth, I feel like I’m in a third world country. The entire crew at the Peacock Network needs to be detoxed.

I saw a video of McCain saying there might be US troops in Iraq for 100 years and it wasn’t important when they came home.
But I don’t care what he said because I would rather have him than Obama, who I understand is involved with terrorists from the 60′s.

Chris Matthews Battles Full-On PUMA Inanity
I’m wondering if NObama will wear a TOGA on Thursday when he deliver his speech as selected nominee of the DNC, bought and paid for superdelegates. The stage where he’ll give his speech resembles ancient Greek Temple. Is he going to deliver a speech like Julius Caesar?
PUMAs I had better go onto bed. It’s a long day tomorrow. A LONG day. Here’s to hoping. Night everyone!

I have a very suspicious feeling that O’s speech will be a real doozy.
——————————————————-
I wonder whose speech he’ll plagiarize.
from the previous thread
ORANGE like the st lights
means caution, almost danger
Wouldn’t it be something if the teleprompter failed during his speech? Then he’d have nothing to say but “um” and “uh.”
I think NObama will start his speech in his “Ancient Greek Temple” with this line and being an egoccentric and narcissistic that he is, he will revise it:
Friends! and countrymen! Lend me your ears (koolaid drinkers, bought and paid for superdelegates cut off their ears and toss it in the direction of DA MESSIAH); I come here not praise Nobama but to bury him!”
All koolaid drinkers will start chanting: THE ONE! THE ONE! Oprah is standing behind the curtain giggling, jumping with joy, she can’t wait to spend the night at the Lincoln bedroom in the Whitehouse.
NObama use his preacher voice to fool his cult followers, but his teleprompter went black, can’t see a single word!
Ladies and gentlemen, you’re about to see the end of political career of a man named Barack Hussein Nobama. His best buddy Ayers buried him out of politics never to be seen again nor his name will be heard even in whisper. Dean will give his trademark scream, veins popping out of his neck, Nancy Pelosi will lose all her hair, even her eyeshadow start rolling down her cheeks, Reid will have a look of surprise on his face like a deer caught in a headlight.
GOODNIGHT!
I am praying for rain to Denver. It would be WONDERFUL!!! An all out storm!

I still like the thought that orange is directly opposite blue on the color wheel.
Hillary absolutely stood out against the blue background … and stood in stark contrast to the sham the Democratic party has become.
murphy did she release her delegates? and one news source is saying there will be no role call vote?
asian4hill, the rumor is that bruce springsteen is giving a free concert in order to get people to mile-high-ego-stadium –

thnx TN puma, i luv nerfies,
i heard that too.
oh yeah and oprah will be there.

You know NObama can’t have a large audience without a concert. I mean the man say the same thing over and over again. If I’m in Denver I’d watch Bruce Springsteen concert but I wouldn’t vote for NObama. I’d rather have my wisdom tooth pulled without anaesthetic than vote for NObama.
NObama is beyond desperation, he is hanging on for his dear life to save his career, he knew he is going to lose in November. The biggest problem of NObama is NObama himself. He is his father’s son, his old man was the same way in Kenya, talk down on people, know it all. He died a failure and hated by a lot of people. NObama sowed hatred last primary and hatred he shall reap. His supporters use the MOST vile, venomous language I’ve come across, that reflects on NObama. His wife is just like him, full of hatred.
You know what they say, “blowback is a biatch.” Now he need to get some blow and stick it in his nose.
You were on the news during the walk, they said there were at least a couple thousand there. and 15% of hills voters still wont vote for him after tonight.
You know she came in a white pantsuit but changed to orange….very interesting.

I’m calling it a night…. I hope it pours buckets of rain when Obama when he steps up into his white house stage…. I hope he relishes in all the glory, because when November gets here he’s not moving into the white house in D.C. ….. So hopefully his stage performance is suffice….. And to light things up maybe GOD will grace him with some lighting & thunder …. and then let it pour down buckets of rain….. I’ll bet he covers his head and runs for cover…. I wonder what is happening with the law suit regarding Obama’s birth certificate. Did they get Biden to get of it? What is happening with American today? Back room deals etc…… I love Hillary but I will never unite behind Obama. I am disappointed with Hillary. She knows that Obama will be bad for this country. Shouldn’t she put her country before her party?
Can anyone tell me where to go to look at pix from Denver? I’m dying to see what’s going on. Soooo wish I could be there.
I’m in Seattle and couldn’t sleep and didn’t get a chance to see Hillary’s speech as I had to work and then take my daughter to get school clothes and shoes…
I am reading that she wore and orange pantsuit? That’s great! When I first read that PUMAs were going to have orange t-shirts and balloons I thought yuk! Cheetos color…
But I do see the wisdom of standing out and I can’t recall ever hearing that she’s worn an orange pantsuit before… she’s a PUMA!!!
I loved her Harriet Tubman reference (read the transcript of the speech) and am so proud of all the PUMAs who are there in Denver representing the millions of us who can’t be there. Thanks!!!
Oh Wow! I didn’t even think of the connection with orange! It’s a message and BO doesn’t even know.

Good morning – say, were you posting last nite? I thought I saw you…who/what got at TexasSherry and JenniforHillary?
Hillary gave PUMA’s a nickname “sisterhood of the traveling pantsuits”. Gotta love it.
199- Be glad the turnout was low in FL. It was a local primary election with lots of judges and school board members.
The new optical scan ballots are going to cause big trouble in GE if they are not fixed. Instead of offering ballots in english, spanish, and creole, they jumbled all three languages on the same ballot. The little ovals you have to fill in were so faint, I had trouble finding them. Plus, everyone in the precinct has to line up to use one “reader/scanner”. I can see a lot of 7am voters in the GE running late for work and just giving up.
I am in Broward so I do not know if other counties did a better job. But we are a gigantic county heavily loaded with Hillary supporters. So I do hope the GE is a little more streamlined.

August 26, 2008
DENVER — Bill Clinton appeared to undermine Sen. Barack Obama again Tuesday.
The former president, speaking in Denver, posed a hypothetical question in which he seemed to suggest that that the Democratic Party was making a mistake in choosing Obama as its presidential nominee.
He said: “Suppose for example you’re a voter. And you’ve got candidate X and candidate Y. Candidate X agrees with you on everything, but you don’t think that person can deliver on anything. Candidate Y disagrees with you on half the issues, but you believe that on the other half, the candidate will be able to deliver. For whom would you vote?”
Then, perhaps mindful of how his off-the-cuff remarks might be taken, Clinton added after a pause: “This has nothing to do with what’s going on now.”
Dear PUMAs,
Please remember that Obama Supporters are our friends. They are soon going to be able to take the advise they have been giving us and go vote for Hillary Clinton as the next President. Retract claws. Be nice.
211 MadLogic – I know, I had to step back and try to ignore them, but am going to send an email today. They just have to try to hurt others.
I thought Hillary’s speech was off the charts!! I could not have done it like she did. I feel she sent a message to the brave women and few brave men to keep marching, picketing, and never stop…..I know it was for the suffrage, but it was for us also!!
bless you, PUMAs in Denver.
The march was on FOX – I wish I knew some of the PUMAs. I’m not a real emotional type that cries easily, but I never even got through Hillary’s introduction..
#214 1gypsy4mc.
Still 2 more days of drama to go, so hang tight
As to what happen to Tex/Jen, I remember a little of the spat thay have with others, but it was just chaos, and add to that confusion was at times people often refer to the wrong posts when replying.
Murphy By the end of the evening the media was saying PUMAs………. not just the “lunch bucket democrats.” Greta says there’s a really “big” problem that the DNC isn’t recognizing – US!
Thanks for the PUMAs in Denver – you did great!!
Thank you so much for the link to the photos!!!

SO PROUD OF PUMAS!!!!!!!!!!!
I just found this over at Bitter Politicz:
One of Uppity Woman’s posts has a comment on the significance of the orange pantsuit. Seems that’s the color the Ukrainian revolutionaries would wear to protest the rigged selection/ not election process they were forced to endure. Ya thinkd Bill and Hillary Clinton would be smart enough to make a statement like this? Hell yes!! And it would fly right over that idiot’s head. The most incredibly classy version of flipping BO the bird we’ll ever see!
I’m sure there’s a meaning for every colour.
Donal Trump thinks Hillary should ditch the party! He said her speech was excellent!
Hillarys speech convinced me more than ever that we are in this for the right reasons. To preserve fair elections for the future and our children….yes I’m in it for that. For the parent that had her hours cut back and the child that was worried…to fight against Obamas Taxes that will destroy small businesses causing job loss and homelessness for children…yes, I’m in it for that. For that soldier that needs a real leader that that will take care of his buddies, and really cares about the safety of the troops and would never fail to visit wounded soldiers…yes, I’m in it for that. For that woman with cancer that had incredible confidence and faith that Hillary could make healthcare affordable because she was the most capable, intelligent, and qualified Presidential candidate….Yes, I’m in it for that.
For all the right reasons, I’m a PUMA. Keep on fighting and don’t give up…and we won’t! Principle and country before party.
Unity? Will Obama be my candidate? Absolutely not. Hillary had massive debt and he didn’t lift a finger to help her pay it off, Obama said “NO WAY, NO HOW, NO HILLARY. I suspect he’ll want to make a grandiose gesture and a spectacle of paying her debt off, but for me it will be a meaningless and insincere attempt to get my vote and to appear as the uniter.”NO WAY, NO HOW, NOBAMA…I won’t be swayed by you, you can’t buy my vote, it’s mine and not for sale!
I’m sure that in the blogs you will find a letter to Hillary or a post that contains the phrase, from a PUMA that Hillary adapted for her speech, the original quote was “NO WAY, NO HOW, NOBAMA”.

Love the Donald.
BBL.
Is it true that President Clinton will no longer be speaking on Thursday?

See post 229 for schedule. It looks like roll call will be between 3-5pm Denver Time.
Good Morning PUMAS!
Last night I posted a video a made for Hillary Clinton.
Please watch your fellow PUMAS video…(I recently wrote a song specifically for her that I am going to quickly record and release with a greater video.

Good morning PUMA’s
I just watched Lord of the democrats, thanks for posting, it was great.
I think the guy on the white horse was wearing a PUMA t-shirt.
Once again, Hillary had me in tears.
4 bittersweet, celebratory, unforgettably heartbreaking occasions — June 1 (blowout win in Puerto Rico), June 3 (final primary win in South Dakota), June 14 (campaign suspension), August 26 (88th Women’s Equality Day) — 4 compelling, spellbinding speeches that will ring through history.
No, Hillary, I wasn’t working all this time just for you.
I was working for ALL women, and all people, everywhere, for all time — so supporting Obama is NOT an option.
Hillary 2012!!
That was Hillary’s message to us. KEEP RUNNING. Never give up. Never quit.
Thank You Hillary for all the inspiration. You will remain in my heart with love always.
I have not given up and will continue to support America first. I will vote McCain in your honor. I will never vote for Obama the Communist.
Go Hillary Go
I sure don’t know how anyone could demonize Hillary after that speech. It was electrifying. I couldn’t stay awake last night but watched it on You tube first thing this morning. Yes, here in Florida,we had a primary. All the candidates called. I told themIcould not just support the party line anymore since the DNC has decided my vote does not count.Told them todiscuss it with their party leaders. The turnout was pitiful.

GOOD MORNING PUMAs!!
Wow! When I finally left last night there were so many new names, and now this AM there are even more.
I think Donald Trump is a PUMA.
What a day – and fasten your seatbelts because I think we are in for another history making day!

Chicago Annenberg Challenge Shutdown?
A cover-up in the making?
By Stanley Kurtz
The problem of Barack Obama’s relationship with Bill Ayers will not go away. Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn were terrorists for the notorious Weather Underground during the turbulent 1960s, turning fugitive when a bomb — designed to kill army officers in New Jersey — accidentally exploded in a New York townhouse. Prior to that, Ayers and his cohorts succeeded in bombing the Pentagon. Ayers and Dohrn remain unrepentant for their terrorist past. Ayers was pictured in a 2001 article for Chicago magazine, stomping on an American flag, and told the New York Times just before 9/11 that the notion of the United States as a just and fair and decent place “makes me want to puke.” Although Obama actually launched his political career at an event at Ayers’s and Dohrn’s home, Obama has dismissed Ayers as just “a guy who lives in my neighborhood,” and “not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis.” For his part, Ayers refuses to discuss his relationship with Obama
REPOST FROM DOWNSTAIRS
Good Morning Kerri and my fellow Pumas!
I can’t be on the blog long as I have a tennis match at 9:30. I did want to stress that we can continue to call the delegates. Ricki Lieberman said even though Debbie Wasserman Schultz switched to Obama, that we must bombard her office and demand a roll call and that she vote for Hillary on the first ballot. Schultz is the leader of the FL delegates. Let her know she needs to back a qualified woman and if she doesn’t, she wont get women’s votes when she runs for re-election. (202) 226-2052
Also, continue to call Charlie Rangell’s office (202) 225-4365 and tell him the same thing we’re telling Debbie. The jerk had the nerve to speak to the NY delegates yesterday and said Hillary wants them to vote for BO. No way, keep calling him.
And please, keep reposting this so others can also do this. Thanks
Good Morning you Wonderful PUMAs,
After a night’s sleep following that magnificent speech of Hillary’s, I am more convinced than ever that SHE is the most amazing woman of our time. She was stellar last night and, as others have said, she demonstrated why she should have been the nominee. On the news they were saying that there must have been “buyer’s remorse” amongst the delegates after that speech. I am also so proud to be affiliated with this group–we have known about Hillary’s brilliance and leadership all along as well as the corruption in this election that undermined her nomination. Others have dismissed us and our mission, but the truth will come out–be patient. As Murphy says, “Keep Running” and don’t give up. God bless you, PUMAs!
Hillary did a great job, glad she showed them who was the best person to run this country.
Also, Murphy, again, thank you so much for starting this website. We are eternally grateful. I am so proud of you and our fellow Pumas fighting for the cause in Denver. I loved the pics from photobucket, nice to see more faces with the names. Finally got to see prplvette!

This is what I posted I heard last night at 12:10 a.m. on Greta wire. She was interviewing the guy Stanley from National Review. He said he just got the papers from the library and said this does NOT look good for Obama. I have the interview taped on my dvr.
Gretat told him to keep digging through those papers and come back and tell her because she is enormously interested in this and would like to talk to Senator Obama about it.
“The traveling pantsuits” you never gave up you never gave in.
Thanks I couldn’t have said it better, thanks Murphy and all the PUMA’s, I can’t wait to see Bill tonight, Hillary was “SENATIONAL!” I hear so many people that are very afraid for this country if BO is elected, fear is what he represents.
This AA is always for Hillary!!
Great Pictures, Wish I Was There!!

Thanks for your insight. It makes a great deal of sense.
Thank you PUMAS in Denver and everywhere.
HILLARY was spectacular last evening.
# 240…Thank you so much for reposting this beautiful video. I was watching in the wee hours last night and was very moved. I love the song too.
#240…Please let us know when you will be releasing the new video with song !
#114 SouthJerseyPUMA – We ARE proud of you guys in Denver!
I am sitting at Mamapuma’s computer with Murphy’s daughter and neice. We are watching Hillary’s speech from last night. They are cheering and I am crying.
“My mother was born before women could vote. My daughter was able to vote for her mother for president.”
So much has happened in just two short generations. I can’t help but wonder what changes will happen by the time they are grown up like Chelsea.
And yes she was talking to all of you when she said, “Don’t give up. Don’t back down.” America wasn’t built by quitters. Didn’t you see Bill and Chelsea’s faces?? They stood up and started cheering!!
It is a shame that we wont be able to vote for her. But maybe God has bigger and better plans for her. The President of the United States is not the only job where you can make a difference in this world. She will continue to work hard and make this country, and the world, a better place for all of us, not just women!!
Hillary:
“And on that path to freedom, Harriett Tubman had one piece of advice.
If you hear the dogs, keep going.
If you see the torches in the woods, keep going.
If they’re shouting after you, keep going.
Don’t ever stop. Keep going.
If you want a taste of freedom, keep going.
Even in the darkest of moments, ordinary Americans have found the faith to keep going.
I’ve seen it in you. I’ve seen it in our teachers and firefighters, nurses and police officers, small business owners and union workers, the men and women of our military — you always keep going.
We are Americans. We’re not big on quitting.”
Look for the transcripts on Greta Wire. They were not posted last night after the interview because it took place at 12:07 a.m.
Hillary spoke to us last night and I still say the color of her pantsuit was the PUMA colors and I’m convinced she did that on purposed. You guys are getting alot of exposure in Denver. I’m sure someone on her staff picked that up…
Never give up, never give in – keep running…
Murphy – did you ever connect with Gloria Allred?
Since today is the day o the roll call should we be trying to leave messages for the delegates supporting them and maybe adding the section of the rules pertaining to the votes?
We have all of the hotel faxes

#76 Kerri on 08.27.08 at 2:09 am – What was drawing MO’s ire is that Hillary got all that applause that wouldn’t stop and Hillary didn’t say what the Obama campaign wanted her to say: how she now thinks he has the experience to be Pres., etc etc. Her speech really was about her, with BO’s name thrown in periodically. Good for her…
Did anybody see after Hillary’s speech on CNN that female Hillary supporter. It was very emotional. I felt her pain. Is there a video of her?
WE WILL REMEMBER DENVER IN NOVEMBER!!!
This was in my mailbox this morning.
Dear ——–,
Standing on that stage tonight in front of 20,000 Democrats unified behind Senator Obama, I saw a bright future for America. I saw millions of people across the country working as one to elect the next Democratic President. I saw a new President and a new Congress giving a voice to the voiceless. I saw America, the land of endless potential, regaining its role as a leader in the world.
I couldn’t be prouder of our party, of our nominee, and of all the work you and I have done together over the course of this campaign on behalf of the American people.
I knew that as I stood in front of that podium, I wasn’t alone. I had you, and everyone who has supported me, standing right up there with me. And that means the world to me.
Thank you again for everything you’ve done. Now let’s get to work helping elect Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and all of our great Democratic candidates!
Sincerely,
Hillary

She was a classy lady last night. She was true to her party, her delegates, her supporters and true to herself. Her message was in the words of Harriet Tubbman…”Keep going, keep going, keep going.”
#261…sisterpuma. I am with you. She is destined to make a difference in this world and it may not be as President.
I heard that Bill is scheduled to speak between 7 and 8 Denver time (9 -10 eastern). Then Biden will end it.

Sounds like a good PROWL. It is time. Our last one was on August 19.
Morning everyone. I responded to Hillary’s “support Obama” email this morning with my usual: “Dear Hillary, Great speech last night – you should have been the Democratic nominee. As I’ve said all along: there’s no way in hell I will cast my vote for Barack Obama.”
I know we’re all focused on the delegate count, but I have to so something after last night to plan even further ahead. In the Wall Street Journal this morning, it is stated that a “former Clinton worker, political consultant, and longtime friend of Senator Clinton” named Jamie Brazil is now directing a coalition called “Citizens for McCain” which has branches in many targeted states and counties.
Does anyone know anything about this? I remember that someone mentioned a man whose last name was Kunst, a Democrat working against Obama in Miami Beach (I’m in Miami), but I’m not sure what he’s doing or how to contact him. I can’t tell you all the number of people down here I’ve spoken to who will vote for McCain but are unwilling to say so in public. I want to help create an atmosphere (hello! this is America) where people can say what they think and not be intimidated by fears of being labeled “racist” or accused of wanting four more years of Bush.
I hope mccain and his crew can find that bombshell that we just could not find. He’s got about 70 days to find it. We had over 16 months. If the press just would of done their job, but now we have to hope mccain can find it. We maybe able to help him out too.
272 vadaryl on 08.27.08 at 8:53 am I heard that Bill is scheduled to speak between 7 and 8 Denver time (9 -10 eastern). Then Biden will end it.

I think Biden already ended it.
Just remember this PUMAs–those who are relegated to the fringes or designated as “mad” are generally those who are visionary and are truth tellers! We ARE the ones no one was expecting! Kudos to all PUMAs –Murphy, Mama and Maryland our fearless leaders.

#276 Middle age female Biden’s choice put a fork in this. It’s hard watching the party go down hill right infront of out eyes and there is nothing we can do about it right now. It’s sad that this bad choice is now in the hands of these delegates with the funny hats, just dancing and having a good time. I think some of them don’t realize how much power they had and are blowing it. What a shame!!!
Go morning Pumas! What a great speech last night. Even my grandkids were watching with me. I am even more heartbroken this morning, then I was on June 3. Well Hillary I say NO Way, No How, Noboma, No-vember!
Thanks MCR
I feel like we should be doing something and today is our last chance to make sure they know to do the right thing.
I am not voting for Obama. And I am not voting McCain.
I am sorry but Hillary said it herself. “No Way. No How. No McCain.”
Sorry Pumas. We all have to do what we feel is right.
#278….here’s my comment…somehow ended up being first….would have put more pizz zaz on it had i known that
Hillary told me one thing last night. “Never give up, never give in”. And I won’t. I will not give up my vote to the Chosen One, to stay within party lines. I will not give in to the consistant badgering of the DNC and vote for their boy. I will, now, for sure, after the way this convention is being orchestrated, vote for McCain. He does not agree with all my views, but at least I KNOW what he will do in office. I cannot vote for an individual that I do not trust. Period.
If you want to hear a delegate speak about last night, he is a hillary delegate but will support BHO down the road.
http://radio.webstream.net/radio_player_large.cfm?stationCallSign=WWPR
NO Way…..NO How….NO Obama!!!!!!!!!!
282 4Hillary – no problem. We all have the same end goal – NO OBAMA!!! How we get there is an individual decision.
They are taking calls.
ok I am still upset about last night but this morning I had a big grin on my face when I read that Hillary did not send her final speech to the dnc (do not count) or Bo for approval. They had no idea what she was going to say in the end. Maybe that’s why Mo and the other cronies were looking rather pale.
4 Hillary
I am not voting for either one of them either
As a young girl I learned “No means no.” The words are very clear. And I am not going to pretend now that “No means yes.” I will not send that message to my little girl. Sorry.
My two cents;
Nobama/Nobiden/November
4 Hillary….then you want Nobama????
Hillary said what she had to say!!!
Not voting for McCain doesn’t mean we want Obama. Not voting for McCan means we don’t want either and have no candidate we feel we can support…speaking for myself anyway.
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/maps/obama_vs_mccain/
electoral map: Obama’s totals are the same, McCain’s have increased
odds for Obama winning have come down.
The Roll Call starts today at 5:00, fox reporting that they don’t know if the states are going to be allowed to call out their votes for Hillary yet. Also, Bill scheduled to give speech at 7:00 to 8:00. If they don’t let the delegates call our the votes I hope all HELL breaks loose when Bill comes out.
From everything I’ve seen so far I’m truly convinced Michelle Obama is running the show. She is the one that decided who the VP pick would be. She comes across (at times) as a very aggressive bitter woman. She will do all the deciding for her husband and he will docilely agree, make no mistake about that. I’ve seen both of them in interviews together she is the leader of the two and the decider. I just can’t imagine her running this country with all the bent up anger she has and unable to hide most of the time. Obama is immature with a dominating wife that controls his every move. As we have all seen, Obama isn’t strong enough to take the least bit of criticism without caving and whining. Michelle isn’t professional enough to hide her bitter personality and would be outraged if anyone even suggested she try to conform. Obama certainly wouldn’t be able to and the first lady of this country needs all the control she can muster.
I’ll give Laura Bush credit for always being professional in public. Can you imagine putting up with George Bush and still keep a pleasant smile on your face? Michelle is too bitter and angry to even come close.
Good morning everyone got my little guy off to school this morning so I wanted to pop on and see what the buzz is this morning. 4Hillary that is your choice don’t be sorry, for some of us it’s a easy choice, for some it’s harder but we know what we are going to do. You have to do what you feel is right for me if it’s not Hillary it will be McCain.
Morning Trish!!!!!!!!
For those of us receiving the email from Hillary -please respond.
I responded with a message of endearment and support followed by:
“No Way No How No Bama!”
(From reading the posts, it seems to have become our motto today)
This is our chance to send a clear message . I feel sure they are checking our replies
So if my daughter tells some jerk “No!” then he can take that she is just saying what she has to say, and really means yes? I don’t think so.
I am saying No to Obama. And I am saying No to McCain. I am have been a Hillary supporter for a long time and I am not turning back now.
Was just watching fox news and Megan Kelly said she watched Clinton supporters(about a 5 rows worth) all in Hillary gear just sitting there watching no clapping no nothing then when Hillary came out they clapped and got excited, after Hillary they sat again so Megan walked over and asked them so are you doing as Hillary asked are you convinced are you voting Obama and they all said NO.
#268 here is your video
http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/
Delegate Ann Price Mills sums it all up
We are all Hillary supporters and there are none of us turning back, If Obama gets in…there will never be a Hillary Clinton President of these United States.
I am insulted that some of you think our girl can be pushed around by Obama. You are not giving her the credit she deserves. What a shame.
Hillary is a Democrat and doing what she has to do!! Do you really think Hillary thinks Obama will be a good President….NOT!!!
Our girl is being pushed around by Obama and the DNC!!! They are in control!!!

#221 MadLogic on 08.27.08 at 7:20 am – Thanks for the link to the photos. Look at the big orange sign in back of Hillary. She wore that orange pantsuit for a reason. While she was saying how she was 100% behind BO, she was telling us something different. No one picked it up. Except us.
I just heard on Fox that Bruce Springstein and Bon Jovi will not perform at Invesco Field.
I just replied to Hillary’s email:
Dear Senator Clinton:
As usual, your speech last night touched my heart. As much as I love and respect you I will listen to one important thing you said, “keep going”.
I will keep going as far away from Obama as I can, “No Way, No How, No Obama!”.
With love and respect,
Carole
Looks like Gerry is selling out also!!
I do not think Obama would be a good president and I would never vote for him. But Hillary is a woman first, and a strong woman at that.
I refuse to believe that she would allow herself to be used as a tool. She’s an intelligent woman that fought hard and has earned my respect. Maybe she has not earned anyone elses respect but she has certainly earned mine.
Go vote:

DON’T BE DISHEARTENED FELLOW PUMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WE are strong and determined and where there is a will there is a way and it is not over yet…not even close!
Remember that even if Hillary doesn’t get the nomination today that this is about so so so much more…it is about US!
There are many options that we have not ventured into yet. One is that WE have the option in most States to do a write-in and have our own list of electoral delegates. I will have all this information available next week for you.
And then we go on to create Constitutional ELECTION REFORM that actually respects the citizens of the U.S.
PUMAS STAY STRONG….WE HAVE ONLY JUST BEGUN!!!!!
Please let’s not bicker! We all respect Hillary – that’s why we’re here! Now it’s a matter of keeping Obama out of office. Keeping him out of the White House has nothing to do with not respecting Hillary!
#298 MadLogic
Morning to you too, i feel like crap this morning, didn’t sleep cause i was too ticked off, i’ll pay for that today. I hope Bill tells it like it is today, he has nothing to lose in doing so. morons running the government, my only joy is in knowing bo and the dnc will be brought down in November. And watching their faces as they pack their bags and go back to the daily grind without the cameras and fanfare and we should never forget what they did to not just Hillary and Bill but all of America
Welcome to the new American way!
Hillary has my total respect!!! She isn’t stupid and is doing what she has to do!! Hillary is a Politician!! That is the way the game is played. Believe me it is a game.
Does anyone know how we are doing on the signatures???
I hear you Leosroar and I agree with you about keeping Obama out. But “No means no” and I heard it loud and clear last night. No McCain.
#302 will13smith Thanks for finding that video of that delegate, each time I hear it, I feel the pain.
Keep up the efforts Puma. Nothing has changed–Hillary is my first choice and McCain is my second.
We are protecting our young from an inexperienced, questionable candidate. This is a noble cause that deserves our attention.
4Hillary: I respect your opinion, but here’s my dilemma: if BO gets the Dem nomination and McC gets the Republican nomination how do we keep BO out without voting McC? In our voting system, a vote for a 3rd party or a no vote either helps the candidate we want to hurt or is a waste…..
gotta go be back later take care everyone (mother in law has to go to eye doctor).
Dick Morris is an (_!_)
Can’t stand that guy!
OBAMA’S NUMBERS AREN’T GOOD
From Ricki Lieberman – those of you who have not seen this info:
Rasmussen: Obama 44%, McCain 44% McCain gets Bounce during Obama Convention
Gallup: Obama 44%, McCain 46% No Bounce for Obama in Post-Biden Tracking This is the first time since Obama clinched the nomination in early June that McCain has held any kind of advantage over Obama in Gallup Poll Daily tracking.
All,
As we come into the “home stretch”, please look at the polling, post-Biden. As a mentor of mine used to say, “Don’t get seduced by your own propaganda”. For all the glitter and hoopla in Denver, Obama still is not “sealing the deal” with the American voters.
IF, and there are lots of ifs. IF the 18 million Hillary voters are accurately represented in Denver (haven’t been replaced, threatened or flipped) and vote representing the people who sent them to Denver, and IF the Super Delegates vote for ELECTABIITY, their only job, THEN…
IF this could not happen, why are BO and the DNC so afraid of a full open roll call, consistent with proud Democratic tradition?
Pledged Delegates and Super Delegates, please think about it. Hillary supporters – in the coming hours, please help them think about it as well.
To MA VOTERS:
If you are changing your party affiliation FROM Democrat you can change it after Obama’s nomination to ” no Party”. This will allow you to request either ballot for the MA Primary, thus enabling you to vote against Kerry. The local town hall told me that if I were to choose “Independent”, then I wouldn’t be able to vote in Primaries.
If you can’t see yourself voting for McCain in November,
consider Nader/Gonzalez, McKinney/Clemente, or other alternatives. The important thing to to refuse to allow Obama to profit from his deceptions and coercion.
Well sent a fax to the hotel of the Indiana delegates reminding them one last time Indiana has binding voting laws and asking them to encourage any other delegate who is on the fence to vote for Hillary.
SEMANTICS
Supporting Obama is not the same as casting your vote for him as a Delegate. Clinton knows better than to tell her delegates how to vote. She says how she will vote. She askes her delegates to support BO. She is not telling them how to vote.
Suspending a campaign is not the same as conceding.
Wednesday, August 27,
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows Barack Obama and John McCain each attracting 44% of the vote for the second straight day. When “leaners” are included, though, McCain picked up another point since yesterday and now has a statistically insignificant one-point advantage over Obama, 47% to 46%
I will be voting for McCain for 2 reasons:
1. Obama in office is one of the scariest things I can imagine
2. If Obama wins its all over for Hillary in 2012
#316 TrishfromCanada.
I hope you feel better. Puma seems to be having a lone battle with the DNC/MSM, but soon the RNC will start their campaign as well.
#293 Caracal Carrie
I hear you, I am not thrilled about it either, HOWEVER, if you do not vote for McCain, IT WILL BE A VOTE FOR OB. I don’t like it either, but, we MUST do what it best for our Country! hold your nose if you have to but think about it
Hey PUMAS
I have a little task/game for you.
Let’s call it the “Violations Game”.
How many VIOLATIONS to the laws of the U.S./States can you come up concerning the DNC. Here are just a starter few. Keep adding to it and let’s see how large it gets.
Violations: breach of public trust
breach of contract/fraud
breach of “integrity of the electoral process”
Not a “Private Club” by accepting $50 million+ from U.S. government for security and other acpects of convention, and use of Public funds and facilities to hold primaries/caucuses
infringement of voters rights ? (this is a real touchy one because the individual really has no/limited “absolute” voter rights…the rights of election are constitutionally given to the States (the governing entity of the states) the individual is only secondary to this……I’ll be posting a full article on this next week on this issue on my blog HillDem.blogspot.com….it was a big surprise to me and many contradictions in the Constitution.)
How about Racketeering also.
Keep the faith friends…..we have just begun!
If anyone else wants to send a fax I can repost the links to the fax numbers at any time. We really need to make sure they are thinking about their jobs today.
GM Folks
Hillary was FANTASTIC!
How can Delegates not vote for this GREAT CANDIDATE!
She is the best person to lead this country in the right direction.
THIS IS A REPOST FROM LAST NIGHT:
Hi, PUMAs,
What a rockin’ speech she gave! Re: that pantsuit: In spiritual terms, the color orange represents “physical energy” — and Hill certainly was energized tonight!
IMO, her speech tonight — even with the artificial and forced references to “President Obama” — was the best ad for the PUMA movement that anyone could have given to us! If ANYONE watching that speech did not realize afterwards that the DNC is selecting the WRONG nominee, then that person needs help!
Hillary was ablaze! I am so happy to be a New Yorker and one of her constituents! If she runs for the Senate again as she has said she will, I will work on her campaign. And if she runs again for POTUS in 2012, I will be right there. She has certainly set the stage for her next presidential candidacy by showing up every other tired Democrat who took the stage before her! And WE KNOW that Oblahblah can’t top Hillary — Springsteen, Bon Jovi — no matter.
And yes, I thought when she said “No way, no how –” that she was going to say “NOBAMA!” That would have been out of control! Yes, Bill was mouthing “I love you, Hillary” when she took the stage — he was all choked up. That must have been incredible to see her live in that auditorium.
I received my Ralph Nader gear today. If Hill is not the nominee, then I will vote for Nader and wear his button proudly. In the past few days I have been stopped on the street by anxious Obots who see my Hillary button and ask me if I will be voting for Obama. When I say “No”, they are VERY worried! Excellent!
I have on my PC desktop the picture of Hill in the black jacket in the pouring rain. That is inspirational to me. She is amazing, and she has said once again “Keep going!” She cannot blame us for fighting for her to the bitter end! She created us PUMAs by example.
“Welcome back to the fight. This time, I know our side will win.”
THANK YOU, HILLARY CLINTON. WE’LL TAKE IT FROM HERE.

WE have NO CHOICE.
We must vote McCain to stop Obama.
Voting for Hillary will not even be counted. The states will not count votes unless the candidate requests they be counted. It is a total wasted vote. Not voting is a wasted opportunity to stop Obama.
We must vote McCain. We have no choice.
Besides I like McCains Energy Policy of supporting all forms of energy as fast as possible. That is really very sensible.
If we PUMA oppose Obama who says he does not need us. And then if he wins he crushes us. He will have proved he did not need us. We must prove he needs us by defeating him.
Nader does not do it either. We have no choice but to vote McCain. He is a loyal American. He is NOT BUSH. he is more his own man. He is more a centrist. He is not right wing.
Obama is Communist and extreme left wing. He uses power like a Communist to crush all resistance. We must not allow him to get more power or all Americans will be crushed. NOW is the time to fight with all we have. Hillary told us to not give up. She knows the fight. Her proper place is to maintain a link to the party so once Obama is defeated she can rise up. If she leaves the party we will have no one to carry the banner.
Hillary has her job and we have our job. Do not waver. We must defeat all Communists.
I, in effect “despise” Dick Morris, but at this moment I could figuratively hug him for his wonderful words on FOX describing Hillary’s address. I hope someone can put his words up for all to hear. There can not possibly be a better description of her address last night.
Can you imagine what would happen if BO’s teleprompter broke as he was speaking? The world would see what we all have seen, an empty prop for Pelolsi/Reid and Dean, we will look like a banana republic!
Hillary’s speech last night just reaffirmed why I want her to be our president that much more. She was wonderful! She is a true president, not that piece of crap *61!! I will NEVER, NEVER vote for *61. The PUMA orange looked great on her!!
Murphy,
Is there anything else that we can do from home to help?? Please let me know.
Thank you to everyone that is in Denver fighting for all of us! You have no clue how much that I do appreciate you all for everything that you have done. Keep up the great work and stay safe today!

post at: Clinton speech moves Democrats toward unity, but hasn’t clinched it, http://features.csmonitor.com/politics/2008/08/27/clinton-speech-moves-democrats-toward-unity-but-hasnt-clinched-it/#comment-2828 (better articles are being written by staffers vs big political pundit names I have noticed for a while, junior reporters on the floor get mikes into the crowd to report on the roll call fiasco and are quickly cut off in favor of the pundits) One more post for PUMA and Hill, one last push on the last day before the “vote”
I am one of many millions of voters who will NOT vote for Obama. I am a member of the JustSayNoDeal coalition with several hundred sites and blogsites. The irregularities of the primaries, the smelly facts about Obama’s behavior in the past, distant and recent, the covert internet tactics his campaign has been using, the association of him with possibly illegal get out the vote organizations making FEC filings, which have been detailed on these sites have pushed me towards McCain and away from Obama. It was absoutely clear to me after listening to Clinton’s SUSPENSION speech that there was no way Obama could win; without her at the top of the ticket, there was no another Democratic candidate that could take it all. He revealed himself too much for the revelations to be forgotten.
Televised news and analysis HAS become entertainment, Obama might make for a good story, if the media buys all he says without checking the truthfullness of it. Print media have by and large signalled their support for Obama; “stories” and “analysis” contain no objectivity, for the most part. It has all bought in to superdelegates having decided who the nominee would be, thay they would stay committed regardless of chances of Obama winning in the general, and that his nomination is a foregone conclusion.
JustSayNoDeal and PUMAPac have filled the void. They have become a cyber gathering space for the millions who question Obama’s fitness to be president. Neither the DNC nor the RNC can control this process of citizens TAKING power in to their OWN hands.
Thank you for writing a piece that is illuminating what is going on outside the official party fence.
Does anyone have an emil address for Bill Clinton
I am going to email him and ask him to be a no show tonight if Hillary does not get a roll call vote.
The other reason I will not vote for McCain is because he voted against funding for law enforcement programs, including the Office of Violence Against Women programs and the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Hillary is my first reason. But my second reason is he is bad for women. Sorry.
all too often I type up a great message and this web page bombs when I try to enter the message and it is lost. it does not save the message back on the page. I hope the software can be fixed
Someone from puma was asked on Morning Joe on mSNBC if Hillary convinced them to nvote for Barry, she said no.
I loved her speech last night. I cried watching it. Bill was so sweet, I saw him mouth “I love you forever” as she was beginning. He got such a kick out of all of her humor. It was just beautiful to see their relationship in this context.
I loved her “no way no how,” which I really think was a nod to PUMAs, and Bill laughed pretty hard about it, so I think he felt the same way.
I have been watching the convention through PBS’s Lehrer show. One of the guests, Mark Shields, said after the speech that no one could have expected more from her speech. In other words, she “delivered.” This is masterful, because no one can blame her when Obama falls on his face.
Did you see that even Michelle Obama was moved by Hillary?
Let’s not debate right now about whether to vote McCain, folks. We will have plenty of time for that after the Convention. Right now, let’s stay focused on

4hillary et al…
In regards to not voting for McCain because Hillary said not to vote for McCain…
I ask you to examine that. I have a daughter too.
I want her to say NO when she means NO but not say NO because someone tells her to.
Hillary said what she had to.
I know this is not a McCain site, I am not happy to vote for McCain but I will do EVREY THING in my power to see that Obama does not get in in November.
That is the LOUD AND CLEAR message I am sending my daughter and my son. Not to stay somewhere because you feel you have nowhere better to go.
I know the republican party isn’t necessarily better but the democratic party has turned into posturing back-room deal-making snakes and I am not going to be part of a party that resembles Iranian or Chinese voting- all for show. I don’t care what Hillary says, I have my own mind.
I have to agree unfortunately with the sentiment that in order to keep BO out of office, we have to vote for McCain. It probably won’t be as bad as some think; remember we have a democratic congress and that will check McCain’s republican tendencies. By the time they all get done fighting, it will be time for Hillary to be president…

Gallup
A naughty PUMA posted the Gallup Poll trend plot with an expanded scale:
http://denver.craigslist.org/pol/814630272.html
If you look at the trends over time, you can actually see different periods of the campaign. Most interesting is that the trend we are now seeing appears to have started around the time of BO’s ego trip. I would guess that is when the GOP started cranking up their MSM machines. Republicans need to feel in control and they may have got worried about BO’s blip from his trip. However, I doubt the machines are running anywhere near capacity yet.
Do we have any takers on a wager about todays Gallup? Is BO going up, down, or same, relative to McCain?

4hilary(sic)………..BO is BAD for women. I like to consider myself a “typical” “white” “sweetie”–all together now.
He is an empty suit. If he wins, then he hurts our 2012 chance with Sen. Clinton.
McCain: he isn’t a doof, I’ll feel safer, I can really get into no higher taxes, and he is honorable. I don’t doubt that he loves America. I think Obama is an empty screen and opportunist like John Edwards. I think he wife dislikes white people (that is just stupid)–she grew up in a home with great income and has been given every opportunity.
Anyway, I’m not a one issue voter. We will have a dem senate and house to check a McCain prez.
It is hard to vote for McCain b/c Sen. Clinton asked us not to and we worked so hard for her (calls, money, signs), but we have to part with her on this one, even though she is sincere in her support.
But, it is harder to vote for the piece of (*&*& that took her away from us and replaced the real deal with an empty, empty image projected on that screen.
Good morning, everyone.
So….are WE still in it to win it? What about the delegates? Is there ANYTHING we can still do?
No bounce so far. McCain picks up a point.
Wednesday, August 27, 2008 Email to a FriendAdvertisement
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows Barack Obama and John McCain each attracting 44% of the vote for the second straight day. When “leaners” are included, though, McCain picked up another point since yesterday and now has a statistically insignificant one-point advantage over Obama, 47% to 46% (sign up for daily e-mail update).
This is the first time since August 9 that McCain has held any advantage over Obama. The candidates have been within two points of each other on every day but two for the past month (see recent daily results). Tracking Polls are released at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time each day.
McCain is viewed favorably by 56% of the nation’s voters, Obama by 53% (see trends).

4Hillary: Please! Be constructive — if you have a counterargument as to how we can keep Obama out of office without voting for McCain, let us know so that we can discuss it. Sarcasm or accusations don’t help us now — we need to take positive action!
Sorry everyone but I am sticking with Hillary.
I will not risk the supreme court justice appoinments that McCain would surely make just to stick it to the DNC. That would make me as bad as them. That is not what our founding fathers would want.
The more I think about it the more I realize that voting out of spite will only do more damage. It’s about the country for me, not the party. I other people will realize that.
We need to stand behind Hillary IMO did you see all the old men all backstabbers just to make sure she said the right things in that convention center. chuck Todd this am said now there won’t be a women for twenty eight years who can get near the white house and he thinks we feel like cement is being put over all the cracks. Will get over it so they say I’ll never vote for a democrat this year This is just me

Is Murphy trying to reach Gloria Allred? I know Gloria and would be happy to call her.
I am not going to believe for one second that Hillary would pimp out her daughter for a bunch of old men. Not even for the presidency. Hillary would not put Chelsea in that video just because the DNC said so. It just doesn’t make sense.

Obama Needs More Than Change
By Philip Klein
Published 8/27/2008 3:41:37 AM
Obama’s challenge is not to convince Americans that they need change, but to overcome the public’s reservations about whether he is the man to deliver it. The Democratic National Convention could have been a four-day infomercial to convince skeptics why Barack Obama is ready to be president.
So far, other than a successful speech by Michelle Obama, the convention has largely failed to present a case that will sway undecided voters.
Clinton, who spent her campaign assailing Obama for not being ready to lead the nation, could have used her speech as an opportunity to take back such comments and argue that he really is prepared to be president. Instead, she did the bare minimum she needed to do so that the next time she runs for president, she can claim to be a team player.
If Hillary overshadowed Obama last night, tonight Bill Clinton will be the story, especially since it has been reported that he will not attend Obama’s acceptance speech on Thursday.
The fact that Democrats are having such a difficult time making the case for Obama without attacking President Bush cuts to the underlying problem facing Obama’s candidacy — that he’s a freshman Senator who hasn’t accomplished anything of significance.

Most of us here have been here from the beginning, we have laughed, cried and gotten angry together. Take this however you want, but my opinion is we have a right to be sarcastic, angry and to feel hopeless today. It will pass but I for one will not put on a happy cheerful face just to please people. I’ve earned the right to gripe and if you don’t want to hear it, skip past my posts.
Please stay positive here. Murphy said there was a message and now she has posted the message so let’s keep focused. It is not over. We have PUMA’s in Denver working hard so for those of us at home let’s do what we can. Keep this blog upbeat and do not give trolls any pleasure.

hillaryhead I said here many times that I would never vote for Obama. So don’t attack me because I support Hillary.
NO OBAMA!!!! There, I said it again!
Good Morning,
Hillary did exactly what she needed to do last night so that she can run in 2012. If we don’t put McCain in there she won’t be able to run in 2012.
And yes, Michelle’s face said it all last night. She is eat up with jealousy. Tickles me. Hillary stole the show as expected.
Hillary’s speech was truly an incredible and memorable event last night. However, at least for me, it didn’t produce the intended result. I don’t feel reunited, just recommitted. Perhaps I might feel differently had Obam won this by honest mean, without the chicanery, and coercion and intimidation by his thugs. But there is just no way on earth I’m going to get behind him or vote for him.
Given the state of world tensions and the state of our economy I believe we are in astruggle for our very survival so, putting my country first, I will have no problem setting aside some differences for the greater good and voting for McCain.

Good Morning Pumas
Got Maryland Puma’s little puma off to school and have just watched the two videos “Ann Price Mills” and “Road of Dreams” and the tears just flowed. Beautiful work on the Road….video and thanks for making it. My heart just went out to Ann Mills. As much as I hate saying this I sorta feel now like I did when I found out that Princess Diana died….I have this lump in my throat that just won’t leave.
We all have to be strong and keep fighting. Last night will go down in the memory books and people’s minds and no one will forget where they were when this speech was made.
Have not heard from Maryland Puma but will do everything I know how from home today to help the cause. People need to know the procedure of changing from Democrat to Independent and what that means.
If we are going to do this on Thursday we need to all unite and do it in one big moment which will make time stop. So whoever is an expert let’s hear it.

And if you agree please go to McCains site (blog) or e-mail the campaign and let them know , You want Sarah Palin as VP! But if you disagree with it, that’s ok. 330 DeepSouth on 08.27.08 at 9:40 am: If Obama wins and he fails like I am most positive he will, it won’t just be HIllary out in 2012, it will be the entire party out for 12 years or longer. Obama won’t succeed. He’s made too many promises which he has already not fulfilled to accomplish anything. The democrats can not afford another failed Democratic administration. We’ve seen that before with Jimmy Carter – - it was because of Jimmy that the doors of the White House were closed to the democrats for 12 long years…until President Clinton gave our party credibility again. To select a candidate as weak on everything as Obama, is political suicide for the party.
If Hillary had been chosen VP, even I believe I would have buckled. At least she would have been there to oversee things….so no, I won’t budge here now. I won’t be voting for Senator Clinton, now, it’s Obama, and Obama is going to bomb out so badly…we could get locked out for 24 years rather than 12. It’s not just about this election; it’s about the future of this party.
Off to do a few personal prowls, I’ll check in later . . .
Oh my God, I have said it over and over since last night….I hope John McCain has the good sense to see the potential gift of female support he was given last night and takes advantage of it by rallying us all.
I hope he realizes our contributions to this country and to life itself.
I hope he chooses Sarah Palin as his VP, because I think she would be great and because I believe she is someone who might unite us once again. I hope he has someone reading our blogs and that he can see benefit in placing women in various positions throughout an administration.
Focus on Healthcare! Don’t lose focus. It’s not Roe v Wade. IT’S Healthcare!!!!
Hillary was brilliant last night, her speech just reaffirms why she had 18 million supporters. Bill and Hillary must do what is necessary to preserve their legacy. We cannot afford to have Obama elected with the possibility that his supporters could vote him in for a second term. By voting for McCain, we send a strong message that we will not fall in line. The DNC will get the message loud and clear that they destroyed their own party. I think Bill gave a clear message yesterday when he said that candidate Y may have 50% of what we are looking for regarding issues, but candidate Y will have the experience and leadership. I don’t think it can get any clearer than that.

I have some pretty strong emotions fighting each other for attention inside me today also.
I want to give one last hard push today, so that I come out feeling I have done all I can..and then I will move on with a decision I have already made.

Hope you and Baby Puma are hanging tough! OMG, you have got to be so proud!
Unbroken Circles quote that really got me… oh, like an epiphany… this is what I have been thinking all along and couldn’t put into words:
“Susan B. Anthony and Alice Paul both made the point that it is up to the party to support women’s issues. It’s not up to the women to support the party’s issues.
If our votes don’t get counted anyway, what impact could we have on ANYTHING in the next four years? If we continue to insist on our voting rights being honored, then we’ll have our voices heard on any issue.”
#378: Thanks so much for your nice welcome, Trish — that’s a truly lovely way to encourage people to join up and try to defeat Obama.

You were outstanding! Your family was outstanding!
You should be president!
However, it is with NO REGRET that I say, I CANNOT, I WILL NOT, EVER vote for NOBAMA!
I know McCain will do a FAR better job at preserving this country for you to fight another day. Therefore, if you are not on the ballot (without Nobama) in November, I will proudly take my stand for America and vote McCain.
I mentioned the injunction in my post but no one is paying attention. Ed Hale had someone on the show last night from Obamacrimes.com. Supposedly, he is getting a copy of Obama’s adoption papers today that proves he is a citizen of Indonesia. And will be getting an injunction to stop Obama from being nominated. uncommitted status at all levels which determine presidential preference. (Rule 12.A.)
E. No delegate at any level of the delegate selection process shall be mandated by law or Party
rules to vote contrary to that person’s presidential choice as expressed at the time the delegate
is elected. (Rule 12.I.)
F. Delegates elected to the national convention pledged to a presidential candidate shall in all
good conscience reflect the sentiments of those who elected them. (Rule 12.J.)
J. The unit rule, or any rule or practice whereby all members of a Party unit or delegation may be
required to cast their votes in accordance with the will of a majority of the body, shall not be
used at any stage of the delegate selection process. (Rule 17.A.)
Leosroar, I tend to agree, they have their click and tend to ignore others posts.
Last word, Trish: where did you come up with “condemn”?
#419 fedup144
Phil Berg has a reputation for filing frivolous lawsuits; will also take time. May come to something, may not.
#417 Just stick around. If you agree with what we are here for no problem. People that have been here and worked real hard are a bit upset and I am one of them.
We are NOBAMA!!!! Hillary is our candidate.

Every newspaper I see has Hillary on the cover with some positive header. Where were they for her before last night?
417 Leosroar
think i only got here 22 days ago – so, stay awhile (like a few days) before making any decisions. we are a diverse group, however we somehow manage to mostly blog in harmony.
Obama should not spend time giving a unifying speech on Thursday because none of us will be listening. His time for unifying was months ago when he didn’t think he needed us. I can live with McCain being my second choice.
#423 Leosroar
Chill, I know there are lots of people here, we are diverse, but we all have one thing in common, HRC and then NOBAMA in 2008. Period
Found Anne Mills’ email address over at Hillary Clinton forum and sent her a note praising her for standing up for Hillary last night during an interview with CNN after Hillary’s incredible speech. Mills is a super delegate. (I am not posting her email here, too many trolls. If trolls want it they will have to work for it. Ha!) Anyway, please let Ms. Mills know that she spoke for us and encourage her to continue to stand by Hillary during the roll call. Also sent Bill an email at his foundation website, praising him for his support.

Please reconsider. This blog is not only for people who have been here from the beginning. You have a right to your opinion. This blog needs to focus and “move the ball forward” instead of all this interpersonal strife. Please stay.

I’ve been here almost from the beginning and I “get ignored” a lot. It’s not really that you’re ignored. Most of us are snatching time form busy lives to catch up and don’t have time to respond to every post. Just because you don’t get a response doesn’t mean your posts aren’t read and appreciated…….however, if you get mean about Hillary or too cozy about BO…..you might see some growls and claws.
whats going on in here
I got accused of being a BHO supporter yesterday!
Sometimes I feel invisible on this blog, but then I know it’s not about me. I am a PUMA and I support this group. I know Murphy et al are working their A**es off to get those 826 signatures. There IS power in prayer. EVERYONE send a continuous prayer for them and the outcome today. The energy WILL be out there and it WILL matter. I am so proud of our PUMAs in and Denver and all off us who won’t give up the fight. I am waiting and praying for their success in getting those signatures. GO MURPHY! GO PUMAs!
422 fedup144
not quite. it’s usually we are following a line of thought, we post a response, (having made note to self – need to respond to _–) go back up the posts, find yours, and open a dialogue with you.
so keep posting
FOX: Body language expert says: Notices change in facial expressions when she talks about BO–not as convincing as when she talks about other stuff. “No way” stuff: really doesn’t want McCain. Re: Michelle/First Lady-…sorry didn’t catch it(phone rang).
Leosroar-sniff around a bit more before leaving us. I “get ignored” most of the time but we are all UNITED with one mission-NO BO. Hillary is our candidate and we as a group do whatever we can to get that message out.
Welcome Leo Everyone has the same goal here so don’t leave. I think last night was hard on everyone and nerved are on edge. My opinion is we need everyone here to meet our goals

Phil Berg has great credentials and a great reputation. Philip J. Berg, Esquire is a former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania; former candidate for Governor and U.S. Senate in Democratic Primaries; former Chair of the Democratic Party in Montgomery County; former member of Democratic State Committee; an attorney with offices in Montgomery County, PA and an active practice in Philadelphia, PA.
There was a news breaking from the Republicans and Romney was speaking he said something about OBAMA was not fit to be president does anyone know about this?

#157 Murphy
Hi Pumas. Orange is a Color of Alert! Warning sign!
To me, Hillary wants US to know Americans can not fall into a trap to elect Bush like again, we need to address issues of critical to the Country – we need to elect the one that is strongest in addressing issues.
Love you guys PUMA, you are the best.
Ive been a PUMA since day one. I have to my recollection never posted. I read everyday. WTG all of you wonderful PUMAS.
There are a few comments I can make.. Wherez the PUMA news? We havent heard anything from those on the ground. I miss Murphy.
Im not sure how I will vote except that it will not go to jobama.
I feel the PUMAS should register as a political party and that we should run on true democratic principals.
Healthcare, Economy, Ending the War, Caring for our Veterens, Education, International relations and truth in politics.
The DNC stole this election for reasons that are not known to us. They advocate a man (who I believe to be an honorable man) who has no experience. The optimal ticket for this country would have been CLINTON / KUCINICH. THis would have fixed all of our problems in the most timely manner and would have given Obama time to get his resume up to par.
The DNC needs to be punished.. and given a 4 year TIME OUT! We should all consider even rejecting down ballot Democrats. We should take more of a part in vetting new candidates.
OUR VOICES ARE MULTIPLYING. RECRUIT. SPREAD THE WORD.. PUT OUT YOUR FLIERS.
FIGHT ON PUMAS!
Leo
I have been on the verge of saying heck wth it about 3 times just today…but these are a good group of people working hard. Give them a chance and you will find yourself feeling like you are fighting for something important. Not all posts get responses. but they do get read. Stick around and at least watch for prowls or ways to fight for the things you believe in. Thats what I am doing.
there are many people working hard and are very focused….and there is nothing wrong with that.
They work so hard they may developed tunnel vision.
Puma should wecome newcomers who may provide new ingight ……and not diss them so quickly.

Hi & good morning Pumas:
Was listening to Faux news this am – were talking about the big speech on Thursday by precious with his fake Greek Temple
Also, could not or would not confirm Bon Jovi & Springsteen playing concert before the coronation but did say all those people coming for the concert will be sitting there in the sun all day – plus they’re gonna make them make calls, register dead people, etc. – ya know the usual community organizer tactics –
Got the email from Hillary this morning too – haven’t replied yet – but as I have said since June 5 – noway, nohow, nobama, november…………..not sure about McCain but definitely no precious

Also keep in mind the blog is very busy and often when one posts (and has to do it two or three times because of the slow down glitch) when you get back to the thread it can be several posts later so a lot can be missed in that way.

Alright, tensions are high, but stay cool!!!
WELCOME NEW MEMBERS, there are many of us regulars who lurks as well but cannot answer all the questions being ask, but we read them all.
Welcome back bloggers from yesterday. It was one hell of an emotional ride for most. So regroup and focus on HRC.
It is true they have shown it on fox all morning makes me think they want him to lose maybe they used him too it will raise up and there are four big collums .and we our paying for all the security for this what a joke
I’ve been reading all of the posts about MO. My take is that the looks we were seeing are inner knowing that what had taken place over the past months against this wonderful woman on the stage, was wrong, Michelle knows it, she knows we know it, she knows that no matter how they try to spin it, we’re NOT falling in line and the wonderful woman on the stage is the reason why we’re not. Many people last night were shaken into reality by her speech and the reception she got. Who can predict what happens now, but I know this, no matter how much energy the Obama team puts into their campaign over the next few weeks, they cannot create the kind of energy Hillary Rodham Clinton can. Why? It’s the difference between right and wrong. It’s the difference between truth and lies. It’s the difference between a natural leader inspired by goodness, and fraud.
That’s all I’ve got to say today.
here’s the picture

I so hope the greek temple and concert backfire on the stupid idiot – I can’t believe the amount of money being spent on this empty suit –
After the fake roll call today – there will be a lot more Hillary supporters that will be saying sayonara to the Democratic Party – I hope there will be lawsuits filed against the Democratic Party by the States -
Plus, Phil Berg is a flake but maybe his suit will grow legs, the Ayers papers from University of Illinois have been scrubbed (why do you think they were all of a sudden unavailable?), and his birth – I still think he was born in Kenya but…………………..

Awsome! I too will be emailing all newsmedia regarding the law suit specifically.
That’s what we need – ACTION!
I just keep seeing Hillary fighting for peoples votes to count. That she believes EVERYONE has the right to be heard. She should not have a problem with EVERY delegate being heard and she shouldn’t cut it off short. PLUS everyone needs to know what the OBAMA campaign did to steal the nomination (which he has not won yet) THERE is proof and it should be shown.

ROFLMAO
Hi all. Catching up on posts. Has anyone heard if they collected the necessary number of signatures yet? Any word on the latest plan re: the “roll call” vote?
Meanwhile, the Gallop Poll still shows McCain ahead by 2 points! Amazing. This even after the vp announcement and well into the convention. The polls continue to note that Clinton has an 80% approval rating. Polls now says it’s waiting to see a bump from Michelle’s speach. Can’t imagine she’ll ever give BO a bump in the up direction. That woman just looks incredibly angry, as if there’s rage that’s always just underneath the surface bubbling through. Quite unappealing and undignified for an aspiring first lady.
re: NYC Girl’s Post…
Okay, you did it, make me cry again. Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a beautiful speech last night (I am blocking the BS part) that had me crying and SCREAMING because she is so fricking good and smart and wonderful and kind.
We will all have to make our choice regarding who to vote for put I will say it again and again unless MURPHY tells me to shut up but I wlll vote McCAIN because we MUST BEAT BO. If not, Hillary will never be president and this country will lose herself.
My deepest prayer is that the delegates RISE and vote for HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON….or that BO doessomething that gets him unnominated or that something else happens that puts her in the white house.
BUT I WILL be voting for the candidate who will has the best chance of beating the MONSTER of the DNC so that Hillary can come back in 2012 and be my president.
I LOVE PUMAS and I am going to work.
Hello everyone,
Just checking in before I leave for work. Wished I could have stayed on later last night celebrating HC’s speech, but the paid bloggers were out in full force. They were on HC support sites in droves yesterday. Here are some of their general themes:
1.) We are all racists and we are mean.
2.) We are being played for fools by McCain. We should stay home instead of voting for McCain because he is eeevil. I think they’ve caught on to the fact that we will never support BO, so their new strategy is to keep us from voting at all.
3.) And of course, that we are dumb.
If you visit other blogs you’ll see comments playing on the above themes. Paid bloggers also tend to start arguments with people and leave in a huff-so as to prove how mean we are.
I thought there were PUMA Pac blog rules posted somewhere. Where are they? One of them was that we should not tell people how to vote.
Once again, Hillary hit it out of the park last night. I’m still on a high from the speech. I was just glad she proved she was the best. That performance made the BO camp look rather bad. That’s probably why the paid bloggers were out- damage control.
Have a great day,
Lara08

The orange pantsuit was a great tribute to PUMAS.. if only she had worn a leopard scarf!!
They were showing overhead shots of the stage at Invesco Field…looks obscene…Greek columns…and quite frankly, I couldn’t be happier, this is the type of display that just doesn’t play well with the American people…it is presumptuous to say the least…
Does anyone know how we affiliate as a recognized party?? That may be in our future.
They showed a couple of clinton supporters last night one was African American another was a male and they ARE NOT voting for OBAMA the lady said it is Hillarys night she would make a great president
Blue Blue Gal
How are you! I am having trouble posting today. What is Murphy’s cell number, and what is she looking for representation for, the group, personal? I know Gloria is liscensed in California.
Actually, I think the more grand Obama gets the worse he looks. So I say to Obama, keep it up. One thing most people can’t resist is bringing a big ego down off their high horse. People are getting sick of Obama. Also, I believe the polls are shifting because some voters were holding out in hopes Hillary would be VP. Now that shes not, those few hold outs will now turn on Obama.
I hope someone sets these jerks straight…I admire evreything PUMAS have done. These are ObamaBots to be sure, but I hope someone (who isn’t easily upset) responds with facts to this site.
How can there possibly be any “unity” with so many Obama supporters still bashing Hillary?
http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/08/26/chuck-todd-dont-believe-the-puma-hype
“xargaw Says: I agree with Todd. If the PUMA’s were so loyal to Hillary how come she can’t seem to retire much of her debt. There is small mouthy group of sore loosers that care nothing about what Hillary stood for with regard to policies. If they did, they would be solidly behind Obama. Apparently, these big mouth sore loosers only have big mouths, but are unwilling to open their wallets for even a few dollars to someone they claim to care so much about. This is more media story than anything else.”
“Cufford Says: Thanks to everyone who responded to my question about “what is PUMA”?
If you don’t pay attention for a few days, you miss all the latest acronyms being bandied about, and where they come from.
Anyway…I was watching Chuck Todd on MSNBC last night reciting his poling statistics about Hillary supporters who would refuse to support Obama, and it struck me…such people are fucking STUPID.
They would vote for McCain, or at the least wish that Obama would loose, just out of selfish, egotistic, narcissistic stupidity – but not based upon idiology or what they think is best for the country, or even their own families. NO! Hillary was robbed! And that’s all that matters. To hell with future generations. It’s payback time!
And we wonder why our political state of things has gotten to this point. With large voting blocks of ignorant, selfish people, like these so-called PUMAs, it’s really no wonder at all.”

imho.
4Hillary: you own your vote to use it as you think is right. Truly I can not believe that Hillary nor Bill think that Senator O is the person who will lead this nation out of it’s despair. You can say anything it does not mean that you are true to the words; as Hillary always said when they demonized her, “they are just words”. My thoughts are that with these two choices you have to look at the lesser of the two evils, who has more intergrity and character, who brings more to the table; from that assessment I will go with Senator M.
Great Suggestion MamaPuma!
I’m so sick of this whole blame thing. It’s part of a horrible pattern that women have endured around the world all through time. When women get raped, they get blamed for what they were wearing, or where they were at the time, etc. When women get beaten in their homes, they get blamed for inviting the beating, for provoking the person in some way. Women group up with this burden that they are somehow responsible for everything that goes wrong. Have you ever noticed this scenario?:
Bunch of folks in a crowded elevator. Someone accidentally steps on the toes of a women. The woman whose toes got stepped on sweetly and politely says, “Oh, I’m sorry.” I want to scream. Worse, I want to kick myself when I find that woman who’s apologizing for having her own toes stepped on is me!
It’s deep and engrained. Blame is spewed out daily and we accept it blindly. I’ve had it with people blaming Hillary of this movement. They can blame all they want. I’m going to take a new approach regarding this pattern of blame: It’s not my problem, it’s theirs.

Beautifully said…been there so many times in my 60 years!
WOOO HOOO GO MCCAIN AND YOUR NEW AD!!!
Thanks MamaPuma. I think that plan will go a long way to help keep things together on the blog!
At the Denver Group site:
“The Democratic National Convention is shaping up to be the most dishonest and corrupt in recent political history, without regard for the fact that every Democratic rule and democratic principle has been violated in the name of pushing a candidate who the majority of the primary and caucus goers voted against in order to fullfill some agenda.
Until it unfolds, we won’t know the exact form of what we now know [; it] will definitely amount to a rigged, dishonest roll call vote. Another thing we do know is that it is going to rob 18 million voters of their franchise. And when it has come to this entire nominating process the Bush Administration will have shown more respect for the voting rights of Iraqis than the DNC has shown for the voting rights of registered Democrats and delegates to the Democratic Convention. And that cannot be ignored.”

RyanMan Please don’t post anymore of those nasty comments from other sites. I try and stay postive and dont even read them. I hate to think I have to read them here. Please!
If they cut the roll call short today then the DNC will have succeeded in disenfranchising voters from across this country. For for a party who has stumbled along for the last 18 months with their woolly headed thinking, it will be a huge gaffe…

I think we should e-mail Elisabeth on the view. She is aware of us and is silenced by the others. I know Bill Geddes, the producer. He is tough, but is also a republican and loves EH. I think she would mention us if we e-maild her.

i’m hooking them up because yesterday morning gloria was denied the right to speak to her Ca delegates. (another example of “keeping everyone in line”. ) so, in response, gloria put the neck scarf she was wearing across her mouth to express that denial. i think this falls under our umbrella – the dnc is really pushing their power around.
so if you can get in touch with gloria and reiterate this, she will already have murphy’s cell #.
if you can get us a # for gloria, that would be excellent. that way we know all parties have each others info. thanks.

I listened to Ed the last two nights.
If what he and Phil Berg were saying is true would be shattering news.
If you don’t get immediate response to your posts, don’t give up. Re-post if necessary.
So many people are posting now. Do not expect that someone will reply to your every post but never forget that it will be read.
Our blog isn’t set-up so that we can reply to individual posts….would be such a major help!
@@@@PROWL@@@@@
In these last few hours possible, try to contact anyone you can think of – union leaders, newspapers, anyone – to make clear if there is no bona fide floor vote, this will be the last time the Democratic Party will be guaranteed a slot on state ballots. Because we will change state laws and stop giving preferential treatment to the candidate selected by demagogues in the Democratic Party and not the voters, over candidates from any other party, like the Green Party or the Libertarians.
Check out this ad from the Denver Group. Anyone with a fax machine (I don’t have one) print this out and send it to anyone you can think of!

I don’t have the stomach!
Besides, I like my TV and I don’t want to throw anything at it….lol
#537 YES! YES! ITS TRUE!! I am watching Fox News.
What the hell is going on now!! Mom was watching FOX and they are now saying that they are going to stop the roll call at IL!! Thus, not allowing at least half of the states their right to have their votes count!! This is total BS!!! Is there anything else that we can do on our part to try to stop this from happening??

Hi Leo and welcome.
Don’t feel ignored. I have been here since the 1st night PUMA went on-line. Many of us are juggling multiple activities and making time for PUMA prowls so we don’t spend much time for blogging. I just check in periodically to read the posts and see what’s happening.
At this point in time I feel that the best contribution I can make is through e-mails, letters, and posters. We each have our niche and most assuredly there is one for you.
Again, welcome!
#274 leosroar
I think I’ve heard about Kunst and “Citizens for McCain”. I think he may have been interviewed on Hannity.
Oh, and don’t leave the blog, it’s virtually impossible to respond to everyone and sometimes it makes us feel invisible. But people read all the comments at night when they get home from work, and your voice matters.
I like to think of this as a bulletin board. Alot of people look at it but you don’t necessarily get a response.
I think alot of people don’t realize they can press ctrl key with f5 function key to refresh the screen so they can follow the posts and see what’s happening.
Don’t give up on PUMAs, I’m a leo too and a PUMA.
No way, No how, Nobama!

You can find Ms. Price Mills’ email address listed over at Hillary Clinton forum. I did a previous post , but you may not have seen it. I did not want to post her actual email address on our website because I was afraid she would be inundated by trolls. (I don’t think trolls will actually take the time to go to the other website to dig it out.)
By the way, if you are in VA, I was born there, a Navy brat from Portsmouth, VA.
If you still cannot find Ms. Price Mills’ email address at Hillary Clinton forum.com, do another post, and I will (reluctantly) post it for you on here.
Rock on, PUMAs! For a “few dozen disgruntled middle-aged women” (thank you, Chris Matthews), we are really making an impact, aren’t we?!

All the media was saying yesterday that Hillary was going to release her delegates. She didn’t. Don’t believe it until/unless you see it.
Sadly, I missed Hillary’s speech last night -partly because of timing, partly because I couldn’t bear to hear her endorse BO. Now I know I missed something extraordinary from listening to your critiques.
Do you think the speech will be posted anywhere where I can watch it?
Also, my husband told me that Stephanie Tubbs Jones son was sitting with Bill and that the Dem Chairman of Arkansas son or daughter was on his other side. What a tear jerker that must have been!
Miss all you Pumas in Denver…Stay safe, carry our banner and continue making us so proud. YOu are doing an amazing job…simply beyond description. Lorelai

I’ve been saying this along too, the only way to negate an Obama vote is by voting McCain.
For the first time in my adult life I will vote republican not because I want to but because I’m being forced to.
If Hillary had lost fair and square I wouldn’t feel this way.
TEXS4HILLARY
MY computer just told me to slow down
Wanted to than you for the update. I’ll bet Bill is silently cheering us all on. Hillary’s delegates should all whip out their scarves )gags) and put them on if they cut the role call short. Wouldn’t that be something for the media to see.

I think I heard that… I went to psp and put a Roman head dress( don’t know what they are called) on BO…lol sent it to carrie

Chuck Todd doesn’t even tell the truth. He is the one said there were only about 400 PUMA’s based on e-mails he has rec eived. He knows that every e-mail represents hundreds, thousands, of voters. Not everyone is politically active, but they read, and they vote.
SNBC is running scared. We are swithing to FOX evefryday, their ratings are tanking. Most of us used to be fans until we saw the blatant sexism and selection of O, at the risk of not informing voters about O.
MAYBE MCCAIN will create a quick ad and air it NOW about NOT LETTING THE PEOPLES VOTES BE HEARD!!!! He is doing a hell of a job poping out Ads right now stomping OBAMA!!!

Awesome. Good for you Bill clinton.
Now for the rest of us to stand up to the evil!!!
Like Anna was saying, I’m not sorry you stepped on our toes, Obama, but you are going to be.
We will renew our fervor and come after you and we WILL see your nomination and candidacy ANNULED.
You and your thugs will not get away with the bribery, the intimidation of innocent citizens, the coercion or your TREASON! Yes, I’m calling a spade a spade and I accuse you of treason and subversion and a terrorist attack on the people of the United States.
Tell the TRUTH, Obama. Do the RIGHT thing you are so fond of talking about.
Hillary, yes I was in it for you, but not for you alone. I am as FOR all the things you spoke of. But I am not for getting them underhandedly or by the means Obama has employed. To do so makes us no better than communists, or fascists, hitlers or Stalins. And we cannot take any chance of Obama becoming one of them. I’m sure there is enough dirt, enough chicanery that if we unite our voices we can make ourselves heard around the world and bring this despot DOWN!!!!
Hillary IS the rightful candidate for the Democratic Party, period.
If this stands as it is, it will be OUR legacy to the children and future generations.
Kpw.. YOU betcha… I wish I was in Denver.. THE government NEEDS to do WHAT WE THE PEOPLE SAY!!! LETS GO TO DENVER AND FIRE THEM ALL!!!!
One last post, then nap time.
I love reading these comments. And FYI I am a Republican, and a friend of Bower. I don’t want to come on here and mis-lead people loike the (bo) people do.
We all Know that the DNC COMPLETELY BLEW IT! Hillary had this totally. But now that McCain does I suggest you all take a look at the VP spot! and cabinet members for McCain and Voice your thoughts to McCains office or blogs. If we are going to have someone for 4 years, wouldn’t it be wiser to elect someone as VP that you like…? I mean I liked Huckabee.. But then I seen Sarah Palin, AND WOW! SO please look up Sarah Palin, go here http://www.smellslikebo.com/blog/blog1.php?p=52&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 or do a search. But my point is McCains going to win, that is obvious now. So why not start looking for other officals you all want in office, for the nation! and for what you believe in, Instead of not voting plan for the future. I HIGHLY suspect Sarah Palin will possibly run against Hillary in 2012. And personally I think that would be really cool! 2 Ladies running for the President. And I hope McCain don’t pick ( even though they are Qualified) a white typical male VP. (boring). I mean Huckabee, Romney, Pawlenty, etc.. are all qualified, but I want to see a Fresh New SPark! Sarah Palin as VP! And if and When Sarah Palin runs against Hillary, will it be a cat fight? NOPE! LOL LOL I doubt it, It would probably be one of the best elections to remember. Sorry a bit tired I hope you got the point, GO VOTE! no matter who! cast your voice! But do research. and the other point is since McCain will win, do you want to voice to him your VP choice, whoever that may be. And don’t turn away from Palin just because she will most likely meet Hillary in 2012 or 2016. I mean I am a staunch Republican and I was pushing for Hillary, as I knew no matter who would have won Hillary or McCain, I would be able to sleep and not worry of the near future possible Natioanl security events about to happen. As in Israel, Do any of you honestly think that Israel will NOT launch an attack against Iran? Trust me they will Never allow Iran to go nuclear. And even if the USA stays out of it, IRAN promised to attack US interest (bases) over-seas if Israel attacks them. So we will be invovled one way or another and I KNOW! Hillary would have Kicked butt! and McCain knows how to handle it, But (bo) NOPE! he can;t even debate McCain in town-hall style debates, I could name hundreds of reasons, but you all know (bo) has No Clue!… OK logging off, Please go vote and think! who do you want in office the next 4 years! as VP! with McCain and cabinet members. I know Leiberman will get a cabinet spot. Will McCain give Hillary a Cabinet spot? I just thought of that? hmmm. I bet none of you even thought of that…
Bill Clinton made a great statement before Hillary went on stage last night, — “Suppose for example you’re a voter and you have candidate X and you have candidate Y,” Clinton said. “Candidate X agrees with you on everything but you don’t think that person can deliver on anything. Candidate Y disagrees with you on half the issues but you believe that on the other half, the candidate will be able to deliver.”

To me it was clear he was talking about (bo) and McCain. Now tonight I think is the last chance, (I may be wrong) for Hillary to get in, ( Irather have Hillary in then (bo). I don’t agree with Hillary on alot of things like Bill said above, BUT! I know she is a Strong US Citizen that would defend our nation and be able to take that 2am call of national security, plus she has alot of other great values. with that said… I see a few of you have stated you will not be voting or voting for (hinting) for a third party or write ins… etc… I see NO value in doing this, to do that aids the party you are not voting for… I can prove in numbers but to save space I won’t right now, But it is your vote, vote for whoever you like! But go VOTE! It is the PEOPLE that elect officials, don’t let anyone or any reason stop you from casting your voice (vote). And with that said!
Mccain is up by 1.

THINK ABOUT IT…
(Hillary’s speech at Emily’s List luncheon yesterday)
“I know a little bit about how the White House works,” Clinton said. “And, you know, if the president isn’t exactly on our side — call the first lady, and with Michelle Obama, we are going to have somebody who answers that phone.”
(…and we could of had the most successful, world-wide respected, 2 term democratic president on the other end)
—————————-
She also said:
Clinton also expressed how personal politics is to her, and when you run for office, you never know what you are going to get.
“For those who supported the women who have run — the women who are holding office — please remember that it’s not just about politics — it’s really personal. Because when you start running, you have no idea where the path will lead.”
Clinton also had words of thanks for the group of women at the event.
“Your work is putting more cracks into that glass ceiling, and thanks to you, one day, it will completely shatter.”
hillary2008

Not Eilizabeth, you don’t think she would mention us. She is a fan of Hillary’s and would love to promote McCain. Fill me in if their is something I don’t know. I mean, she used to make me crazy too…
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY GATHERED THE NECESSARY NUMBER OF SIGNATURES PER MURPHY’S THREAD YESTERDAY?
Here is a copy of the post I left on the Chuck Todd link in post 507Stand proud and Stay strong… I have to admit this is the first election that I have followed closely….Initially I was torn between Hillary and Obama…. I knew Hillary was capable, but I wanted to see who this Obama character was and the more I heard and the more I saw I was completely baffled why he was in the race….. It’s ironic the O.J. hotel robbery hit the air real close to the time of Reverend Wright’s rant and rave….I started hearing Obama this, Obama that and I was still looking for why he was being put on such a high podium, and then you’d see O.J. with his smug grin, Obama had that same smug grin.My thought OH my GOD people are voting for Obama because he’s black I asked people what has Obama done I’ve never even heard of him….. To this day when you ask his supporters what has he done to merit being president….. They say go to his web site and read his ideas…I don’t care about his ideas I want to know about his accomplishments….Then I want to hear just how that accomplishment materialized….. It’s pretty clear that the majority of Americans want a “CHANGE” and we all “HOPE” IF it will work in our best interest…. If one is going to promise this country “CHANGE” and “HOPE” claim to unite the country, I want to know just how you plan to pull that off….. To this day I still haven’t heard Obama’s plan….. However,
I have read his wife’s thesis, I saw her and heard her play the blame game for her lack of patriotism.
I heard and watched Obama stand on national television make a racist statement in making excuses for his radical spiritual leader and mentor.
( I have worked over 10 years with adolescent, teaching them to live a Discrimination Free Zone life)
That was it for me I will work as hard as I can to boycott Obama… There is no way he can win because the youngsters will hear a loud clear message that they can insult an discriminate a population whom is different and still be come president……
IF you Google the words ‘thinking errors” these are thought patterns of thoughts our clients were taught to recognize in their own thought process, so they could recognize them and own their actions based on that style of thinking……
As a Sociology Major You learn how one’s physical mental and emotional environment molds one to becoming who they become…..
That’s the gist of why Obama should not win this race…..
Hillary in Denver 2008…..NO Obama……OR McCain all the way…..

That wasn’t quite what was said- what was said was that you shouldn’t use the term “PUMA PAC” unless they are official prowls.
Anyone has the right to say that they are a member of PUMA on anything that they send out.
I thought Hillary was a firm believer in letting the votes count.. NOW she wants to cut it short..WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE HEARD AND WE WILL BE HEARD.. PUMAS we gotta get the former delegates back behind Clinton and they need to join the March gagged.. with a sign no roll call no voice.. something like that
Does anyone have any reliable (whatever that means anymore!?*@) info re: how the roll call vote is going down today and what time it is supposed to happen??? This is what it comes down to, today at least.

I talked with Maryland Puma and she said that if you guys want to send telegrams to do so. At this point Maryland Puma is trying to clean up HQ and tie up loose ends because she is leaving in the am to come home. I am sure that they are very busy doing last minute things but I will monitor site every now and then and if there is something really heavy going on and you need someone to respond I will try to get up with someone.
EVERYONE JUST REMEMBER, no matter what happens we did the best that we could. All we can do is reorganize and keep trucking on to the election date.
Maryland Puma asked me to tell all of you that they are not professionals who do this for a living. They are just like most of the people on this board everyday people who work and have families. This has been a learning experience and if we are to go on from this point we learn from the past and only become stronger. The PUMAS are not done and we need every member to hang strong with us. Please be kind to each other and somewhat tolerate of others opinions. Lets stay together and support one another. It has been a very emotional and trying time for all.
I AM SO PROUD TO BE A PART OF THIS and plan to continue the work that the Pumas have started to the very end.
A very proud mother who sends her love to all!!
I heard the Talking Heads on the tube yesterday discussing their “News Cycle” during the last few elections. In 2000 it was a couple of days, in 2004 it was around a day and now it is just a couple of hours.

#457 OMG-He will make me sick already! Please keep an open mind about McCain. BO is actually more like Bush! I try to post everywhere and spread positive info about McCain because BO must be defeated if he’s actually allowed to run.
574 lisa
my point is that we should not be saying we are speaking for puma. that is different from saying you are a puma.
I have a question. BO supporters and others, say they don’t understand why we would vote for McCain because Hillary and Obama stand on the issues are closer. How so? Did anyone watch the debates from the beginning? Obama has a different stand everyday. And Obama has shifted to the right on several issues. SO he is looking more like McCain than Hillary. Besides that, how in the world can anyone really know where Obama stands from one day to the next when he doesn’t even know where he stands. Now, he has stolen Hillarys platform, because his own was so weak. ANother point I want to make. I went back and watched these debates over on youtube. SOmething struck me that I never realized until now. All the candidates, seemed to go after Obama more than any of the others. I thought, omg, they all knew from the beginning Obama was the chosen one, and he is the one they had to beat.
Hillary is still my candidate. For one moment after her speech I wavered but in the light of her brillance and obama’s bumbling, and my realization that she is head and shoulders above Obama and Biden, I cannot vote nor support a ticket that does not have HRC on it. Go Hillary. Women who are better than the men they ran against, still discriminated against and denied leadership they qualify for. How old is that story?
The msm is waiting to see the polls after his speech. They are expecting him to go up.
Has anyone else considered that the color orange that Hillary wore , could be the sign of her being a prisoner?
Guantanamo Bay prisoners wore orand and so do many prisoners that you see on the roadside picking up trash.
Hillary was showing us that she is the prisoner of the DNC and told us not to give up, keep going, race toward freedom. We can’t give up- because she has not.
I believe in my heart that she will become – Madam President in January 2009.
God Bless Hillary Clinton and her wonderful famil, and God Bless OUR United States of America.

RE: your comment, “I thought there were PUMA Pac blog rules posted somewhere. Where are they? One of them was that we should not tell people how to vote. ”
I am positive that is at the least AN UNSPOKEN RULE as it should be. Everyone has to vote their own conscience in November. It’s a private thing. We can all SHARE our opinion of what we want to do, but that’s a BIG part of what we are doing here.. making sure EVERYONE has the right to have EACH INDIVIDUAL VOTE COUNTED!!!
STAY FOCUSED PUMAS. STAY STRONG.

Just a word about Roe v Wade & the Suprem Court justices-
Roe was not overturned under Reagan, Reagan appointed Sandra Day O’Connor.
Whoever is POTUS only nominates the justice, remember, it is up to a majority vote in congress to pass the justice.
And let’s not forget the morons in congress- but I will not go there for now.
Sorry, I am just not going to be held hostage under Roe or live in fear of a SCJ appointment.
When the O’bots use that against me in their argument, I state above and usually end with- “and I wish the DNC had thought about that too, before selecting a nominee without letting the primaries and convention run their course. And I wish the DNC had not taken MY vote for granted.”
Wish I could say it shuts them up but it doesn’t, they are hard-wired to come up with their next automated response

Hey Murphy,
You guys in Denver should gather up your group and come down to 18th & California around 11:30am. Obamanator is going to be having lunch at the Marriott across from my building. You guys could voice your opinions on a democratic roll-call. Won’t help you with the Obamanates, but I’m sure we can get some good press coverage. I’ll come join on my lunch at noon!

are you able to get us a phone # for gloria that we can give to murphy?
I agree, I feel that there is more value in using my vote for McCain. Why?
Well, its my feeling that if McCain is elected, they will have to take Hillary seriously in 2012.
They will say that it’s a mandate by the people that they aren’t ready to elect an Arab president, but we know it’s really about experience and lack of qualifications.
I don’t agree with the DNC and yes, I will vote for a candidate that has been elected by the will of the people, over an appointed candidate. I want fair elections in America and I’m not willing to compromise!
Voting for McCain is a statement, and sends a clear message that we won’t tolerate the injustices that are going on in the DNC.
Obama is registering so many new voters and committing caucus fraud to win, we are going to need to vote for McCain because he has to get two votes for everyone of ours.
604 vwade

Oh, I am sad right now – someone I admire (and who I thought might be for Hillary is an 0 supporter).
According to Fox, Barry (Zeus) is having second thoughts about having the laurels placed on his head at his Greek Temple/Invesco Field.
His image of being like everyone else would certainly be in question.
Fox just talking about how it is now or never for Hillary. She will not be able to recover from the loss this primary. hmmm not sure that is true. But we need her in this time.
The Invesco speech will just reinforce his celebrity, all flash no substance image.
THOUGHTS ON BEARING WITNESS:
For anyone feeling frustrated regarding a desire to take action today but not knowing what to do or where to turn (I’m one of those!), don’t forget: We’ve been taking action non-stop for months. It’s hard to hit a point where there is little action left to take (at least in this round). AND, remember, if nothing else, at this moment, we are BEARING WITNESS. That’s a huge thing to do. We are watching very carefully. We are taking note. We will likely base future actions on what is unfolding now that we likely cannot stop at this point. Bearing witness is a major and vital thing. It is not passive. It’s what a select group of people have done all through time in the face of wrong-doing. Those who bore witness became the truth-tellers, helped to ensure that history remembered, helped to build something new out of the ashes. It is no small thing to do.

The email is incorrect the first time for Gloria.
The networks are totally silent on anything going on to do with a roll call vote. How is the petition for over 800 delegates going? Have the delegations already voted?

ABC’s News:
“Hillary has yet TO SAY “OBAMA IS QUALIFIED” – she didn’t say it in her suspension speech in June and did not say it last night.
(No-Brainer: Why should SHE LIE to her INFORMED VOTERS – let Obama and the DNC do what they do best)
——————————–
ABC reported late last night that they did not get the required number of signatures – they only had 2 hours to do it from the time they realized they were going to need the petition to counteract Obama and the DNC’s decision to not go through with a legitimate floor-vote.
(Who knows right now – it maybe ABC’s spin for their biggest advertising client)
——————————–
FOX NEWS REPORTED THIS AM that the “TALLY of the Delegate votes” will begin at 5:00PM
(I believe they are referring to the “Hotel Paper Ballots” that the DNC required delegates to cast this morning by 8:30AM.
If this is true, they may be trying to use the “total” to justify their averting a legitimate floor roll-call vote)

Hillary Clinton speech was amazing, I wish the delegates would do their job and elect the most qualified candidate. Insist on a real vote.
Dirty Politics, as usual with the new DNC.
I couldn’t help feeling I was watching a woman bailing her husband out of jail, after abusing her, for the sake of “the family”.
just checked the weather in denver for tomorrow 85 sunny, we can all pray.
Above all we cannot lose hope. There is Berg’s lawsuit. And there is a whole list of other uncertainties and accusations concerning Obama. I believe enough noise about these could produce action which could eventually force him to step down. We just need to ratchet up the pressure while McCain ratchets up his campaign. It will happen.
Hillary was absolutely right about everything but….NOBAMA!!!!
620 vwade
please tell me you saw the correction.
or that somebody already corrected me.
Just two thoughts (that’s all I can manage these days in one post, LOL).
First, I lay in bed last night thinking about comments I heard that Hillary should fall in line. . . .and I went through in my head all the things Hillary and Obama did NOT have in common from the beginning, in terms of voting history and voiced philosophy. Think about it people, they are many. Hillary is common sense and intelligence on two legs. Obama is. . . well, does anyone know? LOL . . . Anyway, as one of the conservatives here, I have to point out that Hillary and McCain actually have more in common. They are both moderates, after all.
Also, wanted to say that there sure are a lot of trolls floating around. . . . bashing McCain to force your support away from Hillary and back to Obama. It infuriates me because it insults the intelligence of people here, and it is disrespectful to PUMAs reason to be here. Trolls: PUMAS ARE TOO SMART FOR YOU. GO AWAY AND GIVE UP.
Does anyone KNOW if they count votes that have been cast in a hotel room, does that mean there will be no voting on the convention floor? That delegates won’t have the chance in the public eye to cast their votes, to scream and shout for their candidate?
Jom Clayburn is on FOX. He is standing by his statements that Big Dog was a racist.

Good morning PUMA friends,
I’m really enjoying reading all of your post, … your spirit and determination is contagious!
While I would love for all of you to vote for McCain, (cause he’s my guy),
I do want to encourage you read more about his record. Whether you vote for him or not, it’s important to be an informed voter. This site is an unbiased look at the candidates record ~ http://www.ontheissues.org/John_McCain.htm

The other reason I will not vote for McCain is because he voted against funding for law enforcement programs, including the Office of Violence Against Women programs and the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Hillary is my first reason. But my second reason is he is bad for women. Sorry.
4Hillay, while I respect your right to not vote for McCain, before you decide please read more about McCain’s record on crime.
He agrees that funding should be increased for law enforcement but he says “increases should be implemented with state and local government commitments.”
And on programs for children and women ~
• McCain co-sponsored the Sexual Offender Tracking and Identification Act
o Establish a national database at the FBI to track each person who has been convicted of a criminal offense against a minor or a sexually violent offense; or is a sexually violent predator.
o Requires each such person who resides in a State that has not established a minimally sufficient sexual offender registration program to register a current address, fingerprints, and a current photograph with the FBI for inclusion in such database, except during ensuing periods of incarceration
o This requirement extends until ten years after the date on which the person was released from prison or placed on parole or probation; or for the life of the person if that person has two or more convictions for any such offense, has been convicted of aggravated sexual abuse, or has been determined to be a sexually violent predator.
Corresponding House bill is H.R.3456. Became Public Law No: 104-236.

I felt the same way. Although I thought Hillary was great I am upset. In a sense I felt a sense of defeat, as if her giving that speech was a victory for them. They got the woman to do exactly what they wanted.
#640 – I totally agree. Wait until this convention is over – IF we can’t turn this around today. Obama has NO idea what he is in for. McCain’s gloves are coming off, and his supporters and Hillary supporters will make sure Obama is exposed and has the worst 2 months of his life.
PUMA’s purpose doesn’t cease if we can’t pull it off today. It BEGINS!!!! At that point, it is far too clear that our political process was highjacked by an american idol and his worshippers. This must NEVER happen again. Not in America.

pouncing puma – thanks for posting that link. great piece!
wontbackdown – thanks, sort of (!). 5 pm eastern standard time or denver time (which is mountain time zone, which is 1 hour ahead of CA just as a frame of reference)?
We went through this with phone numbers, now we have emails being posted that does not belong to the person posting them.
I am not trying to call anyone out, but we have to stop doing this.
Murphy probably has a throw away phone because she posted her number on here several times. But we have no right to post someone else’s information on this blog. It could get us a lot of bad press if someone gets angry. And……it’s just not right.
I know we are all passionate about what we are trying to do….but we have to THINK before we speak.
JMO
I haven’t read all the comment yet, but I will. In the meantime I replied to Obama’s email about Michele with “Michele who?”
And I replied to Hillary’s email about her speech and delegates uniting behind Obama with:
“If you thought those delegates were unified behind Obama, you should have watched CNN and others after the speech interview a distraught AA women who was devastated that you were no longer running. And the woman with tears running down her face in despair. When you run again I will support a Democrat – not before. Wonderful speech once again, Senator Clinton. I can’t wair for Bill’s tonight.”
Some of the reactions after her speech were amazing and I’m steadfast “Nobama”. I’m ready to fight until the fall election. By the way, good morning everyone.
MICK Even though that is good info, and you are most welcome here, and we know you will be voting for McCain as many of us here will, there is no campaigning for McCain allowed on the blog. FYI We are here for Hillary or anti Hobo I like your comments and I don’t want you to get banned You can say why you are voting for McCain over Hobo….but that’s it
I was so proud of Hillary last night. She did what she had to do and she did it with class. She maintained her integrity by not vouching personally for Senator Obama but by saying she wholeheartedly supported a Democrat in the Whitehouse. We heard what she was saying — we understand. She did not release her delegates as many talking heads said she would. Also many DNC talking heads said that, in her speech, Hillary would strongly condemn the McCain ads that used her words against Obama. That also did not happen. Hillary knows what she must do to survive but she will remain true to her own beliefs. She knows in her heart that Obama is not qualified to be POTUS.
“Never give up, never give in!” Thanks Hillary
I see on Fox, that Bill will be speaking tonight. Does anyone have addition info.
GOLLY GEE!!! FOX news is seeing the light hope they will fall in line behind PUMAS!
It does say that Bill will not be at the stadium.
I guess it’s not only too late, but we don’t even have a list of delegates to call, or write to and encourage to hold firm and vote Hillary.
Oh, one more thought, while I know that we don’t vote for a candidate based on their spouse, here’s a great article about Cindy McCain that you may not have seen in the MSM.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2043921/posts
It says a lot about her character and what she will be like as a first lady.
I have yet to hear from the networks about the real travesty of this primary . . . that the DNC picked BO and did everything in their power to select him.
Now it’s all about how he got the most votes (UGGGHHH) and how it’s up to the Clintons to get behind the party choice.
The integrity of the Democratic Party is THE ISSUE, and always has been. Hillary should have been our nominee and without the heavyhanded manipulations of the DNC would have been.
WHY DOESN’T THE PRESS HAVE THE COURAGE TO REPORT ON THIS? I know, they are in the pockets of the party “leaders.” This issue, though, is what energizes PUMA and the issue that will live on long past this convention.
NEWCOMERS!!!!! I have been here since the beginning and I can tell you I can go for days without anyone responding to me even though I know I am liked. There are some people here, just like in any group, who have bonded. It took work on both of their parts, responding to each other. So if you are not responded too, first, know that is not why you are here. And if you want to be responded to more, then you need to initiate and respond to others over a period of time…and not lecturing others. This group is no different than any other group. You get back what you put in.
Now, let us get back to work. Energy is a precious thing, and it need not be wasted on personal affronts

["Jim Clayburn is trying to intimate that if Hobo loses, it is because of racism."]
Thank you Mr. Clayburn!!! We “typical white folk” – and minority Clinton Voters against Obama didn’t think anyone was seeing us being called racist, terrorized at the primaries, and disenfranchised by the Obama and DNC “anything goes disenfranchisement machine”!!!
Wow! Of course, it’s that kind of racial hate that will cause him to lose – couldn’t agree with you more on this one, Mr. Clyburn!
FOX says there will be a full roll call………I guess we will see.
Call me coo coo, but no matter what happens between now and November, I still have that deep gut feeling Hillary will be the eventual Dem. nominee. It’s not inconceivable when you compare it to how crazy this past year has been.
FOX just reported that in A FULL ROLL CALL ALL STATES WILL BE CALLED PUBLICLY! They say the Obama camp realized to do anything less will not help the party!
This open roll call begins at 5:00 EASTERN, 3:00 MOUNTAIN time (local to Denver).
Just a little humor to help everyone through the raw nerves:
From abc:
“Some 80,000 supporters will see Obama appear from between plywood columns painted off-white, reminiscent of Washington’s Capitol building or even the White House, to accept the party’s nomination for president.
He will stride out to a raised platform to a podium that can be raised from beneath the floor.”

Now picture this….a malfunction in the wiring causes an abrupt stop as the great O rises and knocks him right on his skinny butt in front of all those adoring obots.

Seems like questions are accumulating and we’re scrambling to gather answers. Often, in the process, we’re at the mercy of conflicting news reports. So, in an effort to get accurate info, I sent MamaPuma an e-mail with a few questions that it seems we’d like accurate info on:
Did they collect the required number of signatures for a roll call vote on the floor?
What’s the latest news on plans regarding the roll call vote?
Is Bill Clinton scheduled to speak, and if so, what time?
If I hear back from her with answers to any or all of these questions, I’ll post.
Secret hotel vote? Elaborate.
Bill Clinton has been sent packing. He is going “where they need him.”
McCain is good enough for me… considering the alternative.
LOL, maybe Bill will talk about Economic national security.
Fom what I know about Cindy McCain, I can’t believe that any man married to HER, would not work for the very same goals that Hillary spoke of in her speech. JMHO.
I am sure this has been posted, but just in case, FOX just announced that there will be a full roll call vote on the floor of the Convention! They said that the Obama campaign acknowledged that to deviate from this would alienate Hillary supporters because they would think they were being silenced. We have been heard!

I have to go along with you on that, so I can’t take that bet. Is anyone here willing to bet against BO dropping more on the Gallup Poll? Results come out around 1pm EST.

#661 – VIRGINIA, I didn’t hear Mick “campaigning”. I think she is just trying to help people get decent information from unbiased sources, so that they can get a realistic view of McCain and make some decisions about what they need to do. I really don’t see what that should be censored here. With all respect to you, that seems like you are silencing people too.
As another McCain person, I really would like to think we are welcome here too – we respect Hillary just as much as you do. And we don’t like to be told to be quiet any more than you do. I mean this respectfully, really. I just had to say something, because your words were a slap in the face – which I’m sure you don’t intend.

By now, we all know there was not an accurate, honrst tally of votes during the phony primary/caucus. What makes anyone thing there will be an honest record of the votes in the election, if MCCain DID win? This makes at least three dishonest elections in a row for America.
#681 Rabblerouser ~~~ Thanks, I’m on my second cup of green tea. Still not feeling so good.
686 Anna7000 ~~~Why, I do believe you are right, IMHO.
Okay, for some of you that have been asking about the delegate supporting Hillary and not voting for Obama (black female), the video is a portion of her interview, her name is Ann Price-Mills (Hillary Delegate). In the video they said that a lot of democrats went home because they only went over there to see Hillary, they are not staying to watch Barry Obambi!
If you go to CNN “Videos”, click CNN TV/A look at Clinton Effect and you will see her.
I tried to copy the video, but there was something wrong with my process.
Let me see if I understand this correctly. The delegates will vote on paper which will be handed to an Obama worker, then attend a breakfast where Hillary will release her delegates, then the illegal secret vote will be announced by the Obama people, and we are expected to trust this an be happy with this. It this is Obama’s idea of solutions, imagine what he would do in the white house. How Democratic, Bill Clinton on a 5 second delay. I just do get that warm fuzzy feeling of unity here.

Well i just heard on Fox that they where going to have a real roll call vote….we will see ……….
that they where afraid of the back lash…
705 vwade
you did get the corrected addy, yes?
Ro Conn on WLS radio in Chicago reporting from Denver this morning:
“Her speech changed the dynamic on the floor. About two hours before Hillary spoke there was a big commotion. Some of her partisans – I called them insurgents and they didn’t like that – went out on the floor and were handing out a petition for a roll call vote. At this point, Obama doesn’t want to do a roll call vote. There were about 80 partisans who ran out there and started handing out the petitions. They need 800 signatures. This apparently has failed.
With Hillary on her way to the Pepsi Center and everyone getting ready for her handoff to say he won, I lost, let’s all rally around him, there were still these people.
After Hillary got up there and did a really good job, her supporters are now more angry that Obama didn’t pick her as vice-president.”
Hold on a minute!… If I remember correctly, hotel ballots were being cast at 8:30 am Denver time… Announcement about the open roll call was announced approx 10 am Denver time. That’s enough time for the Obama camp to count the votes cast by the Delegates… and if it was in “favor” of Obama, they think they have the deck stacked. Question is… which votes count… the ones given in open roll call or the hotel casted ballots????
McAllen and Mick~ It is up to Murphy to decide. I was just trying to give you a heads up. Do what you want…It makes no matter to me.
OK, I’m not clear on this….is the roll call vote about delegates, super delegates, or both?
I’m sure someone else has said this already – - but the whole Greek play theatre thing in a freaking stadium – - – am I the only person getting Hitler-esque chills up my spine? My GOD.

hmmmm….good question
If we don’t get a miracle at the roll call today, we need to be looking ahead at what we can do. We must keep Obama from succeeding, and I think our best bet is to get McCain elected. We can’t stay home and not vote or vote for a third party. Either of those two options is almost the same as a vote for obama. Our vote is our strongest weapon! And, there are a lot of way over the top Repubs who won’t vote for McCain because he’s too liberal. He has a lot of work to do in his own party to get them to get out and vote. I think they are the ones who will stay in and not vote this year, which, of course, will benefit Obama. So, more reason to vote McCain. Make no mistake, since I became old enough to vote in 1962, I have never missed voting and have never voted for a Republican, and ruining that record is not easy. But, country is first.
OK – all PUMAS listen up – I just received an email from a Clinton delegate in Denver with the following information:
ENCOURAGE ALL OF US TO CONTACT AS MANY SD’s in DENVER AS POSSIBLE, UNION LEADERS, NEWSPAPERS – if there is no bonafide floor vote at the convention this will be the last time the Democratic Party will be guaranteed a slot on state ballots in YOUR OWN STATE – make them hear that everyon will work to change their State Laws of giving preferential treatment to a candidate of the Democratic Party – because the Democratic Party’s candidate was selected by the Party and not by the voters” – I have seen jbjd say almost exactly the same thing on here and now its coming from someone who can really make a difference at the convetion – please can we have a prowl on this
Well they did it anyway…the “secret” ballot…and no chain of posession……….
He/they have broke ever DNC rule there is…..I don’t see many of the Chater and Bylwa rules now that have not been violated……..and that idea that they are going to have Hillary call for a vote of unanimous is another against the delegate selections and rules of the states and DNC…..rule 17A.
Delegates begin casting ballots for president
By NEDRA PICKLER, Associated Press Writer 16 minutes ago
DENVER – Democratic delegates began marking their presidential nominating ballots Wednesday.
The delegates in Denver are making the unprecedented choice between a black man and a white woman, with only a limited number of votes expected to be counted in an afternoon roll call before Barack Obama is declared the nominee by acclamation.
With the convention roll call just hours away, delegates still are waiting to hear which states will get to announce their votes before the balloting is cut off.
The abbreviated vote is the result of a deal between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Obama so that some of Clinton’s backers can express their support without dragging out the voting too long.
I think if looks could kill, Hill would have been knocked off the podium by Michelle. WOW! So intense!!
prowland,
I hope so. One thing I have learned from these Democrats running this circus is I will believe it when I see it. They will continue to find ways to keep this from happening. The newsmedia is hungry for a violent eruption to report on and seem to be trying to fan the fire. Hillary was brilliant but spoke so much about never giving up or giving in which told me she is being forced. Women have also been forced, until we band together. I hope God is listening to our voices today.
Shafting Big Dog may prove even more inflammatory than a sham roll call. It may be the difference between a McCain landslide and McCain 50 states victory
OK EVERYONE, SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT
yesterday I made a comment that dem candidates generally don’t lose traction in the polls during their convention, they gain. I did some research and here is what I found.
John Kerry lost one point during his convention. Other then that the last dem to lose points in the polls during their convention was McGovern in 72. Well we all know how those campaigns ended.
BO is down by two in gallup and has lost 3 since convention began. Also remember that Kerry lost by just over 3 million votes. According to the polls 30 percent of us won’t vote BO. That’s nearly 5.5 million, more then enough to keep BO out of the white house.
Living Grace – If memory serves me correctly (nothing to hang your hat on these days though!) and if this goes down as in prior conventions (no reason to believe that given how things have unfolded to date):
Each state is called one by one, in order of the alphabet. The states votes are pledged delegates. The state can with have their delegates vote or can choose to pass to the next state. (If they pass, it comes back to them at the end.)
Then, if after all the states pledged delegates vote, neither candidate has enough votes to clinch the nomination, the supers vote.
But don’t quote me on that.
Several times yesterday Fox news reported on the ad you must see here. http://www.nobamanetwork.com/
They spoke on the connection between Nobama and Ayers but said they decided not to show the ad. Cowards.
i’m confused – is there a roll call or the hotel room paper ballots?
#661 Virginia-Are we not supposed to tell people to vote for McCain? That is probably the most effective “action” left for we People United Means Action if she doesn’t get the nom. My HRC source in Denver (a national delegate) tells me just minutes ago that the vote will be taken on the floor today. No hotel vote. It will be a full roll call vote.
Spike Lee is on CNN saying that ‘world time’ will change after BO is elected. BB-before barack and AB-after barack. Move over that BC/AD thing!
MURPHY – Know you are busy – GRANDPA here
As you know I have not posted for awhile for many reasons (one of which is still ongoing this site takes forever to past a one line comment)
I did not get involved with the Attorneys General project that was done yesterday by several posters apparently – HOWEVER – I have received 6 emails – count them 6 from delegates and SD that I personally got involved with signing a petition for Hillary – every single solid one of them said that contacting the AG was perfect – it has filtered down now to the delegates – what they all have said is to send out mass communications to everyone that we should have a complete floor roll call and we just might be surprised at the results – not to give undue hope here – but at least they are giving us a clue on what to do – can we get one last prowl today to help in this cause.
Very proud of what all of you are doing in Denver – you make this old heart warm —-
People let’s not forget why we are here working so hard to stop the presumptive nominee. Further info:
Something completely overlooked by people:
While Obama was sitting as Chairman of the Chicago Annenbug challenge doing the bidding of Bill Ayers, he was also sitting in the Illinois State Senate, passing legislation supporting Bill Ayers laundry list.
Who is stupid enough to not think that this would also happen if Obama became POTUS?
According to Steve Diamond Obama and Ayers were working on a reparations plan to give AA’s free educations. Now think about that for a minute — you give one group free educations while the rest struggle to send our kids to college and you can see that in 20 years you have redistributed the wealth of this country

Anna- I am sick too of the blame it on Hillary mentality but what I am really starting to push back on everyone, why is it Hillary’s responsibility to win us over?
Why did BO go on a “let’s pretend I am president ” world tour in July, instead of reaching out to her supporters?
Because he is an arrogant misogynist who thinks he can win this election without or vote.
I can’t wait to watch him scurry away with his tail between his legs in a state of DISgrace.
Yea, I got the corrected e-mail for Murph. Thanks!
I hope they show up, I feel like venting today!
Further sources:
“Ayers and Darling-Hammond both hold the same opinion on a key education policy issue: support for repayment of centuries of “educational debt” to people of color.”
“Bill Ayers endorsed the proposal for the repayment of the centuries of “educational debt” that some allege is owed to people of color. This is a proposal that Professor Darling-Hammond has also endorsed.”
Professor Darling-Hammond is an education advisor to the Obama campaign.

Will it be televised? I don’t have cable etc….somebody please keep us posted here if you get to watch.
Anyone who is intellectual knows racism does not come into play in our decision of Obama; it is much more complicated than that. The DNC came up with a generic rebuttal to any defiance.
They are now in deep trouble because they seem incapable of being able to make changes based on any logical disapproval.
If Obama cannot reason with the American voter – Lord help us if he faces any nuclear disaster

“Perhaps the best example of the persistent divide in the Democratic Party came after Clinton’s speech Tuesday night. The lights went down in the Pepsi Center, and some influential Democrats left downtown for good. They planned to head for the airport and fly home, long before Obama accepts the nomination in a speech at Invesco Field on Thursday night.”

I’m sorry Blue Blue Gal
I should have checked that out before saying anything. I just get a little paranoid that the wrong people are going to say we are passing along personal info.
I was wrong for speaking before I checked it out.
Just as a further note – one of the delegates is mad as hell and not going to put up with it anymore (almost like me trying to post on this site) with all the strong arm tactics being done already with this convention and other “activities” going on as we speak and that is why they want a floor roll call vote
Sorry if anyone is responding back to me – but I can not spend twenty minutes trying to respond back to each response because of this system here – I will be too busy contacting everyone “I KNOW” to have a floor roll call like in every other 15 conventions that I have seen or attended.

If you go to http://www.politicswest.com you can get the full agenda for today podium schedule, by time. It lists everyone who will be speaking, and all business. Times for each individual are not specific — they give a window. I would expect you can see it all on C-Span.
Agenda says:
The “Call for the Roll Call Vote” will be done by Pelosi (sometime between 3:00 and 5:00 Denver time — the window on the agenda).
Immediately following the Call for Roll Call , the agenda says “Roll Call Vote” led by Alice Travis Germond.
GO HILLARY.
re: post #722
This is the same AG prowl Grandpa refers to in #736.
IT WORKED!
This is the email I am sending to superdelegates and the media (lists from old prowls):
——————————————-
SUBJECT: No Floor Vote, No Dice
NOTICE TO ALL SUPERDELEGATES
If there is no bonafide open floor vote at the convention this will be the last time the Democratic Party will be guaranteed a slot on state ballots in FLORIDA.
Everyone will work to change our State Laws that give preferential treatment to a candidate of the Democratic Party because the Democratic Party’s candidate–Barack Obama–was selected by the Party and not by the voters.
Please pass the word to all Delegates and Superdelegates–we are serious!
I hope Hillary in the secrecy of the ballot box votes for McCain with a PUMA paw mark on the paper ballot.
Bill will probably vote for McCain for sure. Bill really took a bad rap by Obama. Disgraceful. Bill was a super president. I always thought that Hillary was the real brains behind the Clinton years. The newspapers at the time used to say that Hillary was the real President.
Go Hillary Go
I get the chance to growl at a party guy calling me ti support Obama
http://edgeoforever.wordpress.com/2008/08/27/nys-democratic-party-called-me/
KEEP GOING, HILLARY!
KEEP GOING!! KEEP GOING!!
#761 do we have email addy’s??? I would love to flood them with emails today!
Latest Gallop Poll out:
Obama 45%
McCain 44%
Still a statistical dead heat, but i liked it better with McCain on top.
Anyway, while the polls surely have a powerful effect on public opinion, it’s going to boil down to the electoral map. And the way it looks right now, we have our work cut out for us if we want to defeat Obama in the GE, assuming he’s the Dem’s nominee.
firechief – thank you so much for posting that link. will go check it out now.
If they’re agreeing to a floor vote, it’s probably because they tallied up the “hotel room” votes and know he’ll win. More manufactured B.S.
I’m sure in each private hotel room the state chair pressured her delegates to tow the party line.
And it will be the state chairs who stand up and announce the total vote for their state, so how would a delegate change his vote now?
If they had a secret ballot of the delegates right now, without interference, after that speech, Hillary Clinton would win it.
my goodness, no one could make responses to all these posts…going very fast but good progress. I am from Texas and will vote for McCain since I can’t vote for my girl. This “write in” thing is too risky. I don’t want to take a chance of writing in Hillary’s name and that counting as a vote for Obama. I don’t think I plan to change my party yet. I want all the pollster to see come November exactly how many over 50 Democratic women voted for McCain. They wouldn’t see that if I became an independent. That fact alone will speak volumes. Don’t know if anyone will pay any attention to this post…but wanted to throw my 2 cents in anyway. Go PUMA’s!!!

Thank you . . . for showing the world what “EXPERIENCE” sounds like.
Thank you . . . for showing the world what “PRESIDENTIAL” looks like.
Hillary Clinton’s speech last night was phenomenal!
Her supporters are called stubborn, but I submit to you that it is the DNC who is bringing down the Democratic party by stubbornly clinging to a sinking ship. If Hillary were the nominee, she would be trouncing John McCain in the polls right now.
Barack Obama cannot win in November.
Hillary Clinton would win effortlessly.
It’s your choice.
PRINT THIS EMAIL, tack it to the wall somewhere, and read it again in November.

I did hear this am on Fox though that the BO campaign is having second thoughts about the whole invesco coronation. Gosh, I just wish the delegates would start having second thoughts, finally wake up from their stupor, and actually vote us a Presidential nominee instead of a Greek idol. I am so sick of this crap. Hey PUMAs. I’m admittedly not 100% familiar with what y’all are up to but I figure it’d be better to come here to the source than let the media define you.
What’s the level of concern over supreme court judges McCain could appoint? Is this movement more a matter of principle than issues, or how would you describe it?
sure wish they’d let each delegate voice their own vote.

Thanks for your tears and your passion! We have made history here, whether or not Hillary is the nominee. There is no such thing now as ANY Democrat running for office without thinking of what the PUMAs are going to do! WE ARE ON THE MAP NOW!

Good luck to our brave PUMAs in Denver. Keep fighting the good fight. We are with you and we have your back!

Love it!! I was never one to say “I told you so”, but I’m going to enjoy saying it to Dean, Pelosi, and Brazile in November!
Just found this posted at FOX’s online convention coverage (updated minute to minute):
“The state delegations at the Democratic National Convention have received their tally sheets to be filled out Wednesday and turned in quickly so the roll call for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton can begin promptly at 5 p.m. ET.
Obama aide Jenny Backus said one nominating speech and two seconding speeches for Clinton will be offered followed by four speeches — one nominating and three seconding speeches — for Obama. The event will take about 30 minutes.
Afterward, the tally sheets will be collected and the roll call will begin with each state’s delegation chair reporting the results.
Backus refused to answer a direct question seeking to confirm that there will be no stoppage and 50 states will “have their say.”
However, The Associated Press reported that the roll call will continue until all votes are counted or someone asks the delegates to give the nomination to Obama by acclamation.
Democratic officials close to Clinton said they plan to have someone — perhaps Clinton herself — cut off the vote after a few states. Clinton delegates were to meet with Clinton at the Pepsi Center, where the convention is taking place, during the early afternoon to discuss the procedures, according to John Flannery, a pledged Clinton delegate from Virginia.
Flannery said most delegates have been in the dark about how the roll call works.
“That’s a good question and I don’t think that anybody knows the answer. I think the real question on some of the delegates mind is whether or not the roll call will be more faux than fair,” Flannery told FOXNews.com.
“What I think they’re going to do -– and there may be some theater -– is that they’ll have two states that are going to stand up and say, ‘We have 25 votes for Obama and six and a half for Hillary Clinton’ and then the next one will say something and then someone will stand up and say, ‘We should all vote for Obama’ and then there will be no protest … or there will be a protest. But human nature is such as to avoid conflict when possible. I don’t think there will be a protest,” Flannery continued.”
I LOVE THE VIDEO “THE CALL” Some much talent there. I have to go off for some time just to have a good long cry………………….KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Everyone here is just thrilled with the way this convention has gone. NOT!!!!
beverl leslie – i tend to agree. i feel that whether the roll call is held on the floor, or not, it’s all theatre at this point. the dnc has been sliding down a slippery slope closer and closer towards autocracy and the convention is the culmination of their devious efforts. we still have choices though: take action any time we feel inspired to do so and/or make our voices heard in the voting booth. no denying it’s impossible not to feel enraged not only at what’s going on, but about the fact that it’s been allowed to happen. media doesn’t seem to care and neither does a large portion of the electorate, apparently.

For me it’s a chance worth taking. McCain seems to have a high regard for fairness. He refused to leave prison camp out of order, even though early release was offered because of his father’s status. That speaks volumes to me.
I thought Hillary was great last night. If they steal it from her again, I will vote McCain with a clear consious.

791 Pookie ~~~ Since last night, I think we’ve pretty much beat all the fleas outta that rug.
If my comments sound like I am blaming “racism” on Obama – I am not. It is the absurdy of his defeat being blamed on racism.
143 days in the Senate does not a “president” make.
A history of crooked relationships does not credibility make.
Destroying legitimate democratic processes does not political integrity make.
I am sick of the Obama machine of deception – Racism is not the issue.
Someone who is more talented than I am, please when things settle down make a list of all the videos which have been made about Hillary and also the good ones from the delegates because I am having a really hard time keeping track of all of them. I want to email the addresses to all of my friends at work who also love Hillary. I am not sure what happens to the threads once they are changed. If it is too much work I guess Maryland Puma will help me when she gets home.
I don’t know the person (s) who are making these but they are great. Who sings the songs and where do they come from?
Just stupid questions to be asking when everyone else is trying to do more important things!
Since I don’t know what else to do, I am going to go out and cut grass and pray!!!
YOU GUYS REALLY ROCK!!! Half the time I don’t even know what it is your are doing……….but keep it up.
I think it’s wonderful that Obama is planning a Hollywood-style extravaganza. He can rise above the multitudes on his platform and waft over the adoring crowds. With lightening and thunder in the background,
it should provide an awesome sight. After delivering his Sermon from the Mount he can bless the loaves and fishes to distribute to the crowd in their AT&T tote bags.
right on wontbackdown.

{“THE WHOLE ISSUE OF SUPREME COURT JUSTICES IS COMPLETELY OVERBLOWN BY THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA. REPUBLICAN JUDGES ARE THE ONES THAT DECIDED LAWRENCE VS. TEXAS, A LAW THAT ORIGINALLY MADE IT A CRIMINAL OFFENSE TO ENGAGE IN HOMOSEXUAL ACTS, CONSERVATIVE JUDGES CLEARLY DETERMINED THAT WHAT PEOPLE DO IN THE PRIVACY OF THEIR OWN HOMES IS THEIR BUSINESS.
AS MOST ATTORNEYS CAN ATTEST, THE JUDICIAL BELIEF OF MOST CONSERVATIVES REGARDING PRIVACY ISSUES ARE SO STRONG, THAT THEY WILL GO AGAINST THE BASIC WISHES OF THOSE WHO NOMINATED THEM, WHO TEND TO BE “SOCIAL CONSERVATIVES” (SOMETHING THAT MCCAIN IS NOT). THIS CAN ALSO BE SEEN IN MANY CASES THAT HAVE DEALT WITH GUANTANAMO BAY AND THE ABUSES THEREIN.
IN FACT, IT IS FAIR TO SAY THAT IF YOU TRULY WISH TO HAVE A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT THAT PROTECTS YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND DOESN’T EXPAND TOO MUCH, YOU WOULD RATHER HAVE A MCCAIN PRESIDENT NOMINATE THEM THAN A SOCIALIST OBAMA. SPECIALLY CONSIDERING HIS UTTERLY INVASIVE JUDICIAL BELIEFS.”

For me personally, if Hillary isn’t the nominee, I’ll vote for McCain. If you’d told me 2 years ago that I’d be voting for a Republican, I would’ve laughed in your face.
But I’ll do it, to fight to keep elections fair in future, to make my vote count for something, and to encourage honest journalism.
If Roe v Wade and I could make it through 8 years of Bush, I’ll sure we’ll survive 4 of McCain. Abortion will not become illegal.
And McCain isn’t Bush, I respect him and feel he has more experience and a better ability to reach across the aisle than Obama. These are tough times, we need experience.
It’s not too late, SUPERS DO YOUR JOB, vote for the electable candidate!!!!
If John McCain was such a bad guy, I have a hard time believing a woman like Cindy would have married him. It would seem to me that he needed her alot more than she would need him for anything.
As we have so auspiciously learned, a man’s wife says a whole lot about the man himself.
#651 Mick – Thanks so much for that info on McCain. I always felt good about my choice of McC, but after reading this additional info, it makes me feel even better….and on #667, you’re right you don’t hear anything on Cindy…thanks for that info also!

Thanks Anna, I try.
So at this point we have:
- a faction of the government (DNC and Obama) strongarming and bullying political dissenters
- blatant manipulation and corruption at the caucus level
- government censorship of information and manipulation of fair voting system (attempt at private behind-closed doors balloting)
- government censorship of information to public (Dean’s 5-second delay on Bill’s speech)
- raising of a figurehead based on carefully constructed public image
These are all hallmarks traditionally of the ways in which a totalitarian regime begins. Think about it.

Delegates voting at hotels ( Election Fraud Continues)
excerpt: Some delegates were confused because Sen. Clinton was not expected to release her delegates until the afternoon.
“It doesn’t make any sense to me,” said Mary Sullivan, a Clinton delegate from Albany, N.Y. “I’m gonna vote for Hillary. I’m a Clinton delegate and she hasn’t released me yet.”
Clinton is expected to address delegates this afternoon.
Sullivan said she had been startled by the hostility toward Clinton on the part of some Obama supporters.

LivingGrace @@@ thanks. I did a lot of thinking last night instead of SLEEPING. I feel very strongly that in order to get justice and put an end to this corrupt Dem party, Dr COWARD DEAN AND GANG, we must stand united in our vote for McCain. Hold our nose if necessary, but just do it ! We have to keep credibility for the Puma democrats. We have to stand by OUR WORD ! Our convictions we have fought for thus far. Change can only come sometimes by hard sacrifices. We have to stay united and not be tempted to make nice. Obama is not just ANY candidate, he is DANGEROUS FOR OUR COUNTRY. That is my BIGGEST reason for not being able to vote for a CROOK. My country comes 1st. I have seen 1st hand why such countries as Argentina are called 3rd world countries. The people are WONDERFUL but the government keeps them down. I will not give away my God given right to cast my vote for someone who can DAMAGE my country. If people would actually leave America and travel the world a little, they would come to realize that what we LIVE here is much better than what MOST live in this world. And we must FIGHT to keep DEMOCRACY ALIVE AND WELL. It is a precious commodity, and worth fighting for.

If they did take a paper vote/ ballot this morning, who’s to say that their vote has to stay the same when they are on the floor voting. Without the floor vote its hidden from the public, just like their caucases.
On the lawsuit, if they can prove it, why don’t they just get the INS to deport him back to Indonesia or Kenya…..

For Obama, a Challenge to Clarify His Message

I’ll ONLY watch Bill Clinton speech tonight, then I’ll switch channel. Even last night I did not watch all speakers, I just watch Hillary. My PRESIDENT won’t be there Thursday night in Invesco, Terry McCaulif (sp) is leaving Denver after President Bill Clinton deliver his speech.
I’m working on an op-ed piece that is requiring a lot of reseach. Trish had been incredibly kind in assisting me with some of what I need to back up my claims. Here’s a link to something written back in April (seems like a lifetime ago) that is so right on and well written. I know it’s after the fact, but I thought some of you might appreciate it anyway:

Had to log on for a second…
last night one of the women (she had short hair) on the round table chat (the one where demonstrators are directly behind the speakers) said that she could NOT understand the problem women were having with the DNC and the O ticket because this year was the MOST pro-women year in the history of the world.
I cannot stop thinking about this statement, and I have a migraine because of it. Instead of TELLING me how great you are to women, why not SHOW ME. Hillary Rodham Clinton was treated like SHIT and she is every woman and the DNC has humiliated her and the CLINTON FAMILY and I will NEVER UNDERSTAND who many millions in this country can stand by and not be upset and join PUMA.
I don’t need someone, especially a man, to tell me how good you are to women. And after telling Hillary to quit over and over and blaming her and calling her and bill racists and the rest of us stupid racists you can LITERALLY go straight to HELL.
I am upset. Actually, I am more than upsest. I am BEYOND BITTER. And do NOT mistake my tears for weakness because I will NEVER STAND DOWN.
HILLARY OR MCCAIN…HILLARY OR MCCAIN…HILLARY OR MCCAIN!!
AND SPIKE LEE may you choke on your hypocrisy….
PROUD BITTER RELIGIOUS MIDDLE CLASS WORKING THINKING AMERICAN who WILL NEVER VOTE NOBAMA!!
HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT..she won so GET OVER IT and step out of her way!!
david axelrod says that obama has a a surefire way of winning the presidency..his hope and change powers are magical..especially CHANGE..
david says there’s now way obama could lose with his magical change powers because if necessary obama can change himself into john mccain!!
If I would ever be comfortable voting republican, I am very comfortable with McCain. If I can’t vote Hillary I know and feel satisfied, that I do have a choice. And its not Obama!
Just had to come back and post before I leave. bill is brooding today at the BROWN PALACE HOTEL!!!!! You found em guys!!!! Send lots of love his way!!!
But she wasn’t elected – she got fewer delegates. If it was a contest for the popular vote, wouldn’t it be fairer to tell them at the beginning? :-/

would be fine with me…
he has to have American Citizenship also…wouldn’t you think ? But a to be POTUS you can’t have dual citizenship…right ?
845 ROSEMAY57…………… lmao….amen !!
Mimi1020 – doesn’t it feel good to feel like you have done something at the last minute that might make a difference – it has given me energy as well -
#819Nobama – what some of us are doing to pass away our time and based on actual comments from delegates is taking #761 Jody in Floridas letter and sending it to all the past prowl emails we have done and the media – we need them to know that they will be punished on the State levels if they do not give us a full floor roll call
My response from the Washington State Attorney General’s office:
Ms. xxxxxxxxxxxxx:
I am responding on behalf of Attorney General McKenna to your message, which is copied below.
As you acknowledge in your message, the State of Washington plays no role within the internal processes of each political party. I understand from your message that you are not satisfied with the procedures used within one of those parties to select their presidential nominee. Those procedures, however, are not related to any Washington laws regarding access to the ballot in this state.
In Washington, any candidate can file for office simply by filing a declaration of candidacy and paying a filing fee (or submitting petitions in lieu of the filing fee). While candidates may, if they choose, express their own personal preference for a political party, political parties as such do not have any special access to the ballot. The Presidential primary works a little differently than other offices, but at root in this state it is candidates, and not parties, that qualify to appear on the ballot.
I trust that this information will be helpful.

Now what????
I am getting frustrated again with the MSM. They are critiquing Hillary’s speech again. One Obama supporter says she could have said that “he is supremely qualified to be President”. Well, I think the reason she did not say that is because he is not and she is not a liar! Cheeze! Don’ these guys get it! She supported Obama and kept her own integrity in tact. God bless Hillary!
Coming up on FOX:
Hillary could still be Obama’s VP
842 pink puma So you heard about the “Greek” temple also? And that “he” is going to be presented as a “diety?” Someone on TV last nite tried to say it looked like the “White Ho
