You can’t make this up. Michelle Obama spoke to the Convention last night, and there was an immediate change in the polls. The Obama numbers went down, and the approval numbers for John McCain went up.

I repeat that please: The Obama numbers went down, and the approval numbers for John McCain went up right after Mrs. Obama spoke at the convention.

I don’t think that was the intended direction.

Today’s Gallup Tracking number for McCain over Obama is now +2. One to two days ago, it was tied even.

Continuing with the “you can’t make this up” news, Rasmussen Tracking is now showing a Tie, and CNN is also showing a Tie. This just happened.

My advice to Mr. and Mrs. Obama …… It is too early for measuring drapes for the White House.

From the way I see things right now, it could be John and Cindy McCain doing the measuring for drapes on January 20, 2009, the date of the Inauguration.

Reference: Go to RealClearPolitics.com, and punch in Polls. For further analysis, hit GallupTracking, and it will take you to the fine poll analysis pages of Gallup.com.

Dear all great PUMA people …. Get the word out please, and that includes the fine folks there at PUMA Hq. there now in Denver.

Thank you.

Hillary can "release" her delegates but they are free agents and can vote however they want.

Apparently, BO is "in charge" of what happens… this is his convention; he calls the shots, he's the choreographer…

He can try to sway the delegates; however they are free agents and will vote however they see fit.

(Unless, of course, the roll-call is aborted or called off!)

Poll: More than half of Clinton backers still not sold on Obama

By Susan Page, USA TODAY

DENVER — Fewer than half of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s supporters in the presidential primaries say they definitely will vote for Barack Obama in November, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds, evidence of a formidable challenge facing Democrats as their national convention opens here today.

In the survey, taken Thursday through Saturday, 47% of Clinton supporters say they are solidly behind Obama, and 23% say they support him but may change their minds before the election.

Thirty percent say they will vote for Republican John McCain, someone else or no one at all”.
--------------------

The SF Chronicle yesterday reports that a CNN poll released Sunday shows 27% of Hillary supporters are inclined to vote for McCain.

Hello Fellow PUMAs

It's de ja vu, 1968, all over again!

Howard Wolfson on Fox a few minuese ago, said that there will be no more negotiations - it's Obama's election and he will be calling the shots from now on. He refused to answer any questions directly - just danced around them - except to say that the negotiations are over (not exactly in those words).

The Bully is picking up his marbles and going home - sore loser!

They have no clue what they are asking for - and, boy, are they going to get it.

Hold on to your hats - looks like a rough ride is ahead!

KEEP THE FAITH
