Wow!! Where is everyone? As incredible as it seems that just 2 months ago we didn’t really exist, just look at the work that Murphy and Co have done. as a design professional I have to admit that while the design initially appears technically and aesthetically good, it should have been tossed to the recycle pile at the time concepts were presented –or before.
In light of Nobama’s obvious problems communicating his true American loyalities, who the hell would approve such a design concept. Who ever’s leading his staff in this area must truly be a neophyte to strategic marketing 101. Any creative director worth their salt would’ve immediately recognized the problem. Any true designer (not a ‘wannabe’) would have had a second or third Ticket design option as backup.
Just one more prime example of neophytes in charge of the Democratic Party–from the Chosen One , to his staff, down to his supporters. It runs deep.

Good morning all Pumas. Sorry I haven’t been on here to cheer on our Brave Pumas going to Denver. Have a safe trip, and be very careful in Denver.
The corrupt DNC wants their planned convention to be perfect. I hope it ends up not what they wanted.
Sunday I woke up and my legs wouldn’t work. We had to be on a plane that morning, so I tried to get ready with a cane. Just fell a few times.
Then I fell going out to the car, so we took my walker.
I only fell one more time; going down the stairs of the bus.
Then I used a wheelchair all day Sunday, a walker Monday and Tuesday. We were home Wednesday, and I spent my birthday in bed.
I am now able to use a cane. Will see my Doctor on Monday. Keep a good thought for me..

#978 prowlland - my thought is the more firm yet respectful our letters are to the delegates and superdelegates, the more of a chance they will be read.
They all know we are angry at the election so far, so that is a given. In my letter I post links to prove my point. That way they don’t just dismiss what I am saying. Even if they think the information on the links are wrong, they know at that point that this information is public and that gives them something serious to think about. The letter is partly my own words and those of others I have collected that I agree with. I am writing and rewriting to Hillary’s superdelegates and here is my letter if you want to see it, feel free to use any part if you wish:
Dear Superdelegate,
Please stand up for the voters that support Senator Hillary Clinton by voting for her on the first ballot at the Democratic Convention in Denver.
The American people are aware of the caucus fraud and deception which has distorted the delegate count in Senator Obama’s favor.

Obama came to the senate bearing monetary gifts to fellow democrats. We are aware that Obama gave large sums of money to super delegates to “buy” their support. We are aware that as the

This is becoming public knowledge and Obama is dropping in the polls.

This should be a signal to ALL democratic politicians that in the future, rhetoric and money will not “buy” your success when the will of the people is to defeat your election. Expect to be challenged, expect voters to be immune to rhetoric, and learn that money alone will not “buy” your success.
The Democratic primaries have opened up the eyes of many Americans. It has exposed the bias of cable news networks and the pundits to the point that Americans distrust them and are becoming immune to their rhetoric and spin. The American people are ready for a “change”, but just not the change that the democrats and Obama had envisioned. In the process of exposing those within the party that are gaming the system and the American people, Obama has exposed himself as the one of the most “bought and paid for” politicians of our time, who is scratching everyone’s back to “buy” his way into the Whitehouse.
Once again I urge you to have the courage to stand up for Hillary, to stand up for her voters and to stand up for Democracy and vote for her on the first ballot. She is the candidate that can win against Senator John McCain.

As the pledged and super delegates get ready to go to Denver, we have their attention. Obama just is NOT SEALING THE DEAL. The polls are leaning downward for him as is the projected Electoral College count.
It is all about November, not Mile High Stadium, a message we must communicate to all delegates.
To the pledged delegates, we must impress upon them the importance of voting for Hillary on the first ballot as recognition of Hillary’s historic candidacy, to honor the 18 million votes, and to represent the voters who sent the delegates to Denver.
Moreover, in 10 states, and perhaps more, there is are Binding Vote Laws which require all delegates to vote for their candidate. All are binding for the first ballot, some for 2nd and 3rd as well. But it is the first ballot that is the critical one.
The 10 states are California, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, and Virginia Please be sure that your delegates are aware of this. Any attempts by the DNC or Obama to replace or flip any delegate from these states, is against the law. It is wrong and they should not do it under any circumstances, but we now know that they have been breaking the law aggressively in these states by trying to intimidate and replace delegates everywhere.
The scenario: Delegates representing the 18 million HRC voters, vote for Hillary Clinton; the SDs reach the conclusion that Hillary is the electable Democrat, and…. !!!
For the coming days, FOCUS. Please do not be distracted by anything else. This is our task, to make the scenario a reality.
Each of you please continue to contact “your” lists, and please also contact the delegates and SDs in your state. Of particular importance is to reach or leave messages for your Democratic Congressperson, Governor and US Senators encouraging them to vote for Hillary on the first ballot. They are the leadership of your state delegation.

#49 BigCatLover Yes, I have talked to Jeramy at Clinton’s HQ’s. I have never spoken to PH. Jeramy is the one that told me Hillary was not seeking the nomination, that she owed a lot of money, that she is supporting BO. then I asked him whether XO was a US citizen and had he been vetted and he said yes. I then asked him why there was a phony BC on XO’s website, he didn’t answer that. I told him he could tell Hillary I would not support XO, would not vote for him even if she were the VP.
I do not know if PH is who he says he is, I only know what you guys know and the other people that were online at Ed Hale’s show a couple of weeks ago. MarylandPuma asked him to e-mail her yesterday and I don’t know if he did. Anyway, my cell phone is acting up and I can’t contact the AR supers, says network busy, but it’s my phone. Maybe our towers are screwed up because of the heavy rain.

When I was a little girl I hated sports….I stood in the out fields picking dandelions..while the ball would roll right past.

I just want to give you my hearfelt thanks and support for taking action and filing the injunction against Mr. Obama and the DNC. I am part of PUMApac organization and from the day Senator Clinton suspended her race, we have been on a mission to correct the deceit, corruption, manipulation, threats made by Obama’s camp and the DNC. The things you have mentioned in the charges, we have been seeing for months now and NO one and NO media would pursue these issues. except one or two correspondents on news stations but even their hands have been tied in some way or another and seem to be able to push the issues only so far. If you need additional information on other fraudulent actions, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of voter fraud at both the primaries and caucases. There is absolute proof that it was propagated by Obama’s group. They were trained on how to be aggressive and win at any cost, they put signs promoting Obama at the polling stations, they threatened, assaulted, intimidated Senator Clinton’s supporters and forged many caucas votes and delegate counts. The leader of our PUMAS, Darragh Murphy, is doing a documentary on the fraud at the Denver convention and another woman, Lynette Long has collected tons of specific information on the fraud. I personally, feel this is something in which charges fraud charges should be brought against Mr. Obama. If you need contact information on the voter fraud, just email me and I will send them to you.

BO states in his book he found his BC and that started him to find out about his family. So BC was in his possession. Why did he need to get another one issued? The speculation on Ed Hale’s show is that the DNC will go running to one of the Supreme court justices and have them rule against the injunction, in other words, he would get away with it, at least until after the convention. I found out I will only have one of the three classes I was teaching before, and so far only 2 students have registered for that class. So do I still have a job next week?

#23 TrishfromCanada… You are right! But, attorneys for Obama could argue the merits of the case as being unreliable based on that and file a motion to have the whole thing dismissed.
My opinion is that the whole thing has been staged to ward off Republicans using his eligibilty issue to fan undecided voters’ doubts (i.e., “If a Judge throws it out there is no merit to the allegations”).
High stakes games like these are all about mind games as much as anything and it does not matter who gets hurt in the process - in this case the voting public.
P.S. I believe he will announce his VP choice during primetime viewing of the Olympics. Remember, he loves a big crowd and he gets this worldwide Olympic audience absolutely free.
Also, be prepared. The polls absolutely force him to choose Hillary. There is no way he can risk not choosing her. He is already leaking the spin on choosing someone who “challenges him, that he can spar with, that he may have differences with.”
At the “catharsis” fundraiser, Hillary leaked info by speaking on the VP selection process: “picking a VP that you may not like, isn’t anything new” and gave examples.
The polls reveal that he has NO CHOICE, He has no chance of getting a huge block of her voters without her. He will use all the delay time to spin it that: after going through all of the candidates: She was absolutely the best choice for the job (to make her voters believe he respects and needs her as an assett more than any other possibility - won’t that make us all feel good???)
He has NO CHOICE - but is doing everything he can to make it look like HE CHOSE HER.
Finally: There was no way he was going to risk losing donations from his die-hards that are against her as his VP. Now, he can make it public and hope to benefit from the Clinton hold-outs between now and the convention’s end.
That’s my prediction - based on watching the drama unfold and his pattern of doing things to maximize his position.
THE BIG QUESTION REMAINS: WILL SHE ACCEPT OR DECLINE SO SIBELIUS, KAINE OR BIDEN CAN STEP IN?
I wish God’s speed to everyone going to Denver to represent us - be safe, be careful - we need you back in one piece so we can start the ball rolling for Hillary when she gets the nomination in Denver!

Are you an attorney? It seems to me that this lawsuit has plenty of merritt.
I worked for attorneys for 47 years up until I retired. I just called one of my old bosses and discussed this with him. He told me that he remembers when his uncle had to go register at the American Consulate to re-affirm his citizenship. From the lawsuit, apparently neither his Mother or XO ever did that. And besides, he has an Indonesian passport. The judge can issue a temporary restraining order. We have to wait and hope.

Now that the convention is 2 days away I have finally felt the ugliness of jealousy. I wanted to go to Denver so badly. I have the time and the resources but I had to put my own desires on hold to not be a burden on our warriors who are going to Denver to fight for what we all believe in. After my daughter died 2 years ago her death took it’s toll on me. I had a stroke last year, which I am recovering from just fine, but I am not real secure about traveling or standing long hours at a time so I decided it was best to stay away and let the others go without me. I hate jealousy, there is no place in my life for it, so for all of you who are going, know that I am with all of you in spirit. ROAR loudly so I can hear all of you!

I have a friend who is an ER nurse in Denver. She told me today that they are getting $5 an hour more for “terrorist alert”pay during the convention. Attorney General Tells GA Delegates They Can’t Switch Their Vote At The Convention
I’ve confirmed with two members of the state’s Democratic National Convention delegation that Attorney General Thurbert Baker sent them a letter informing them that they could not switch their vote to another presidential candidate if they are a pledged delegate to someone else.
Two delegates pledged to New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Shannon Marietta of Dougherty County and Cheryl Williams of Gwinnett County, both said they received a letter from the Attorney General stating that they could not switch their vote until Sen. Clinton released them or she received less than 35% of the vote during the roll call vote.
The Attorney General’s letter cites an relatively unknown section of Georgia’s presidential preference primary law that states Any person selected as a delegate or delegate alternate to such national convention shall file a qualification oath with the Secretary of State pledging support at the convention to the candidate of their political party or body for the office of President of the United States for whom they are selected to support. The oath shall state that the delegate or delegate alternate affirms to support such candidate until the candidate is either nominated by such convention or receives less than 35 percent of the votes for nomination by such convention during any balloting, or until the candidate releases the delegates from such pledge. No delegate shall be required to vote for such candidate after two convention nominating ballots have been completed. [Source: Official Code of Georgia Annotated 21-2-196]
Both Clinton delegates said they planned on voting for New York’s junior Senator on the first ballot anyway.

This may not be true: A leak on MSM a couple of weeks ago that quickly disappeared: Hillary and Caroline Kennedy met and traveled together. Caroline Kennedy is on the VP vetting team - there may have been other vetting members on that trip.
I still believe that she has been vetted and that they have gone to great links to keep it from the press and his supporters until the polls could be analyzed.

Wow, Country Joe McDonald, what a magical time 1969. I was in San Francisco at the time. Dropouts who would only eat organic food but would swallow any drug handed to them. I am one of the few who remembers the 60″s (never did drugs). The magical part was people banding together for peace. This movement reminds me of the passion of the 60’s. It is wonderful to see.

Don’t worry honey. That story has been out for weeks and it hasn’t hurt us. I don’t remember whether it’s one of our founders or someone else in Puma, but someone did try to stop Bush by donating to McCain. Then in November she voted for the Democrat.

Yesterday, a French journalist from the weekly news magazine “Marianne” phoned me to interview me about the anti-Obama movement, and when I spoke about the question of his eligibility, he simply laughed and refused to listen to me. When I told him Obama was not a senator so could not vote, once again, he refused to listen…

Wow, Country Joe McDonald, what a magical time 1969. I was in San Francisco at the time. Dropouts who would only eat organic food but would swallow any drug handed to them. I am one of the few who remembers the 60″s (never did drugs). The magical part was people banding together for peace. This movement reminds me of the passion of the 60’s. It is wonderful to see.

I find it so interesting that the Obama clan cannot see beyond their nose. I think the issue about McCains homes is ridulous. But I would think they would be paying more attention to all the unanswered questions that have been put to their candidate. It seems everyday there are more and more questions regarding one of the most simple questions as to their candidates citizenship. Let us all hope that this will be brought to light today. That a judgement will finally help to bring this issue to light.

maxgrader: I didn’t realize that “Lemon Tree” was such a failure. I only know that I would find myself singing it over and over. I also taught the students, “If I had a Hammer” and “Puff the Magic Dragon.” They were very proud to sing the songs. For High School students, they were very unspoiled.

3. Play with the cat.
4. Blog here with fellow shut ins.
5. Pet the cat.
6. Know I should get out, take a walk, run errands, but can’t roam too far from home and the tv I’m not watching.
7. Breathe.
I need way more ideas. I’ll run through these in 7 minutes!

I just thought of something that sticks out in that she-wasn’t-vetted article: The last sentence is an assertion by an Obama person that the 16-month-long primary served as a vetting for Hill. He’s basically saying she doesn’t need to be vetted like other candidates who haven’t been through the ringer. Hmmm…
The Dem official quoted also says it would be a “leap of faith” to choose her without the vetting. If she’s not getting the nod, why even make that statement?

Delphinefrom France: Actually, Delphine, I didn’t really teach in the lycee. My long time and best friend, S Jeanne Gouraud taught English in the Lycee St Joseph in La Roche Sur Yon en Vendee. I just helped out with the songs, Mais oui, je parle assez bien le Francais, mais pas aussi bien que je l’aimerais.
Mon amie habite le Cathedrale de Lucon (la Cathedrale de Richelieu). Oui, je vais en France chaque annee au mois de juin ou je passe deux semaines avec Jeanne a Jard Sr Mer, aussi en Vendee.
I have traveled rather extensively in France and so of course I know exactly where Lyon is located. I did stay overnight in an hotel near the railroad station, but it is obvious that I didn’t do the city justice.
