My daughter, who turned me on to Hillary during her original Senate campaign, told me about this wonderful site, because she knows how I feel about Hillary being denied the nomination. I was so moved to read comment after comment here.

I am sure that I am many years older than most, but I care about what Hillary stands for as much, if not more, than the younger ladies. Mr. Obama and his media have sung praises about he has supposedly inspired lots of folks to "get involved" in political activities for the first time. BUT, why isn't the news talking about how Hillary's historical efforts have inspired people like me, a retired woman living in a regular small town in New York , to want to do something for the first time in my long life about politicians?! Mr. Obama says that the Republicans are afraid of change- well, I say that the Washington elites in both parties, and the newspeople, are afraid of the change Hillary would bring!

Everyone is talking about vice-president picks, and these "short-lists". I am so mad that Hillary's name isn't mentioned on Mr. Obama's "short-list"! She really got more primary votes, and people like Mr. Biden, Mr. Bey, or Mr. Kaine weren't EVEN running for the nomination but everyone keeps talking about them. I suppose that if Hillary was the nominee, she would be kind enough to give Mr. Obama the courtesy of placing him on her "short-list" since he came in second place. Mr. Obama is ignoring Hillary--- he had better let her have her say at the Convention, or the DNC will rue the day!

I am writing letters to my Super-Delegates to urge them to do the right thing. My mother was involved in the suffrage marches as a young lady, and I regret that the one chance in my lifetime for a woman to be fairly considered for President may be gone forever. This is so sad, but in other ways so exciting. Forgive me if I am writing in circles, but I am new to Blogs.

Texas Tigress - address that Anna 7000 gave you for Geraldine Ferraro is correct.

Anna 7000 - From my conversation with Ms. Ferraro, I am very sure that she is not happy with the way the Primaries went and what she says in public, just like Hillary, is not what they believe in private. Their jobs and their careers depend on the Democratic party - to ask them to say what they truly feel would be conceived as being un-loyal to the party. It is like telling off your boss in his face publicly and still want to work there.

Anyway, the reason why I wanted to talk to Ms. Ferraro was that I wanted to hear what someone close and loyal to Sen. Clinton had to say. It was not easy to get a hold of her - I had to call for an appointment to have a phone conversation but she had told her assistant to expect my call.

I'm getting paranoid, but new posters who want the list of superdelegates so they can help worry me. They could be obots seeking to send outrageous letters in our name
