REPOST FROM KERRI DOWNSTAIRS

Kerri on 08.20.08 at 4:47 am
Any PUMA’s who are seeking lodging in Denver:
I have found a residence wich can hold any number of people, 3-6, actually, for the price of 50 dollars per person per night. Apparently they are HRC supporters and thus we get a “bargain” rate. Heh, if you ask me, the Coloradians are making a killing!
But, that is neither here nor there! The price is true, as I’ve been searching for days now! LOL This situation has a two large and real beds, two rooms, plus a kitchen area and private bathrooms and entrances.
If you’re interested contact the “host” at mbarfels over at comcast dot net. Also, if you’d be so good as to just drop ME a line to let me know how many spaces you’ve booked, as I’m trying to keep track of such options for other PUMA’s in need of shelter. As ever, I’m reachable at Kerriwyn and that’s over on aol
Alright then.
PS. If someone here is currently ON when the morning thread goes up, if you’d be kind enough to copy this post for the next shift? Thank you.

Good Morning PUMA’S,

I did my own prowl this morning and I hope you will join me in writing to Coward Dean and D. Brazille. Here is my quick note to them:

Polls show that Obama is slipping every day against McCain. Why would you jeopardize the country and the party and put up a weaker candidate who will most likely lose in November? You have the power to change this outcome by encouraging the delegates to vote for Hillary. She won the popular vote by over 300,000 votes! She is the only candidate who can win back the white house. I will never vote for the “selected” Obama. He does not have the experience that is needed to lead our country. This is not American Idol. This is the toughest job in the world. You are hand delivering the position to Senator McCain. There is still time to do the right thing. Put the country first!

Be courageous! We will remember come November!

Sincerely,
xxxxxxx

Click here: State politics smitten with incurable plague :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Carol Marin .

This article in todays paper shows you how Chicago style politics are done. The city and state are corrupt.
The head of IL Senate is a political mentor to Obama.
The national press is not reporting the facts. If Obama becomes President we all are in trouble.

#14 notfollowinthepiedpiper on 08.20.08 at 9:57 am

Been reading a little about supporting the dem ticket if Hillary is VP…I just can’t do it for four major reasons.

First: The DNC may force the issue of her being named VP to placate her supporters, BUT there’s NO GUARANTEE she will ever get the chance to step up to the presidency. He will just be allowed to surf into the oval office ON HER REPUTATION WHICH HE DOES NOT DESERVE!

Secondly: In the meantime (possibly indefinitely) we would be in the dangerous position of having BO for president.

Thirdly: The DONC would get away with pulling off this hijacking of democracy, and think this deception is all acceptable as long as your lying and pandering gets you what you want.

Fourthly: Who’s to say when he goes down the tubes (which according to Reuters, is already starting to happen in a big way) he won’t take Hillary down with him if she’s on the same ticket?

NO! The only acceptable ticket for my vote is a clean nomination of the best candidate with NO OBAMA anywhere on it! There is too much at stake. Loyalty is to COUNTRY FIRST! And I can’t be a party to it’s unraveling.

#15 Susie1945 on 08.20.08 at 9:58 am

Good morning Pumas - was saddened to hear the news about Stephanie Tubb Jones - hope she recovers quickly and well

Just a point to remember - the DNC does not really care if Dems win the White House this year - they figure they will control the Congress and pick up more support - they are mainly looking for NEW voters (all those republicans for a day & young voters) - they are anticipating all the money that will come flowing in - good luck with that one - also, the reason *61 is texting his vp selection is so they can harvest all those cell phone numbers - use your imagination as to what they will do with them - I don’t think young voters have a lot of money but hey what do I know - only what I read in the papers & hear MSM say and of course, what I read on the blogs -

Unless a miracle happens, I don’t see Hillary on the ticket this November nor do I see Dems winning the White House - of course, it will be her fault if the immature, inadequate and unqualified piece of crap loses, but who said life is fair especially with no objective journalists left in this country…………

Had thought I would be going to Denver but looks like that plan has fallen thru so will be blogging here to find out how everything goes - wish I could be there

http://www.reuters.com/article/politicsNews/idUKN1948672420080820?sp=true

Obama’s support among Democrats fell 9 percentage points this month to 74 percent, while McCain has the backing of 81 percent of Republicans. Support for Obama, an Illinois senator, fell 12 percentage points among liberals, with 10 percent of liberals still undecided compared to 9 percent of conservatives.

Only have a minute. Again wanted to say how proud I am to be a PUMA and hope everything goes well in Denver. I really wish I could be there (no leave time).

Everyone have a great day.

Hopefully by the beginning of the convention…*61 will be down by 15 points! I take back the hope…he will be down 15 points! Will make the SD’s job easier to switch.

#40 Susie1945 on 08.20.08 at 10:12 am

If one stops to think about all of this ’stuff’ - it really is depressing………………..and I still can’t understand how the DNC was able to brainwash so many people into believing *61 is the ’savior and leader’ of our party……….

I am hoping that there are alot of delegates out there who have backbones and balls who will stand up against the DNC leaders and “throw the bums out’ - if not, there will be no support from me for any downstream Dems - no matter who they are -

If they don’t have enough sense or integrity to stand up to the abuse that is happening within the party, they sure as hell are not going to be standing up for us…the former backbone & balls of the Democratic Party

#41 Caracal Carrie on 08.20.08 at 10:12 am

Does any one know where I can get the information on how much money those delegates each received from the Pelosi pacs? The ones that should be voting for Clinton but are voting Obama?

As a personal prowl I would like to collect that and forward to MSN. All of this stuff is being under reported and I feel like I have to do something…

Chairman Howard Dean
By Fax: (202) 863-8063

Speaker Nancy Pelosi
By Fax: (202) 225-4188

Chairman Dean and Speaker Pelosi:
Polls show that Obama’s lead is shrinking every day against McCain. His inane answer at Saddleback Church “that is above my pay grade” demonstrates his inability to take a stand and nuance issues. Why would you jeopardize the country and the party and put forth a weak candidate who will most likely lose in November? You have the power to change this outcome by encouraging the delegates to vote for Sen. Clinton. She won the popular vote by over 300,000 votes! She is the only candidate who can win back the White House. I am one of 18 million who will never vote for your “SELECTION.” The DNC has torn the Democratic Party apart by breaking its own rules by awarding Obama uncommitted delegates from Michigan and stealing 4 from Sen. Clinton. Sen. Obama is clearly the most unqualified candidate to be shoved down our throats. He does not have the experience and is unqualified to lead our country. If you want to continue on this path to defeat, then continue to endorse Obama who is not a uniter but a divider by playing the race card. This has irreparably put race back 50 years.
Sen. Clinton’s supporters will not fall in line and we will PUT OUR COUNTRY BEFORE YOUR PARTY! You have given us no choice but to vote for Sen. McCain. We will not condone your back-room dealings and if you allow this injustice to stand, after the November elections, I will change my party to Independent and you have lost me forever.
Take a stand, REINSTATE FLORIDA & MICHIGAN PRIOR TO THE CONVENTION AND VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON IN DENVER.

#52 notfollowinthepiedpiper on 08.20.08 at 10:24 am

#40 Susie1945 on 08.20.08 at 10:12 am

I agree w/ you on not voting for downstream Dems as well, if they CHOOSE him . If by some slight of hand, this goofball should win, we will need someone in the congress for for checks and balances.

#53 jrhed on 08.20.08 at 10:25 am

chicago4truth,

I’m amazed that the MSM have not even mentioned the fact that Emil Jones, Obama’s mentor and the politician who is resonsible for his Senatorial run is being forced to retire because the public has completely turned against him. It’s also amazing because Obama’s buddy, the Il. Governor Blago was boo-ed off stage while speaking at the Illinois State Fair last week. Ironically, it was the state’s union employees that offered the biggest protest.

I am in Springfield and will be dropping in on Obama’s speech Saturday. It’s interesting because he chose to speak on the same day as a blues festival that is ironically happening around the Old State Capital. Again, Obama is scheduling his events around other events that are drawing in crowds. It will also be interesting to see how many busloads of supporters from Chicago will be brought down to give the perception that he has the support of downstate Illinois.

Well, I MISSED the majority of Sen. Clinton’s call last night (grrrr!!!) but I got a summary from some people. HOW TO STOP HARASSMENT OF CLINTON-PLEDGED DELEGATES

BACKGROUND

Some states have enacted laws that bind their pledged delegates to vote for the candidate to whom they are pledged as the result of votes cast in the state’s primary or caucus contest, at least through the first round of voting at the party’s Presidential nominating convention. Therefore, in these states, to threaten, pressure, or coerce pledged delegates to vote for a candidate other than the one to whom they are pledged is to solicit them to break the law.

PURPOSE

To stop harassment of Clinton-pledged delegates in those states that have these vote binding laws, notify the Attorney General of your state, someone is breaking the law.

RATIONALE

As has been reported in the press, in states throughout the country, delegates pledged to Clinton are under siege to switch their allegiance to Obama. A CO delegate was summoned into the office of the state chairman to explain the contents of an email she had sent to a fellow delegate, for expressing loyalty to her candidate. (“Explain, Dems tell Clinton delegate”) http://www.denverpost.com/search/ci_10170139
A MN delegate was stripped of her delegate status. (“Wisconsin Democrats strip woman of delegate position for saying she will vote for McCain”) http://www.startribune.com/politics/national/25908499.html
A KY delegate for Clinton was replaced with a delegate for Obama. (“Clinton supporters protesting removal of delegate at Democratic National Convention”) http://www.whas11.com/news/local/stories/WHAS11_POLITICS_080814_CLINTONOBAMA.486a4d97.html

There are two sets of ‘rules’ that apply to state pledged delegates. There are the rules written by the Democratic National Committee in the “Call to the Convention”; and there are rules written by states, which are called laws. State laws always trump DNC rules. For example, DNC rules call for pledged delegates to use their “good conscience” to represent the will of the voters. State laws, however, require delegates to vote for the candidate to whom they are pledged, at least through the first round of voting at the nominating convention.

Even DNC party ‘elders’ including Governor Ed Rendell (PA), fail to understand the difference between DNC rules and state laws. Speaking with Neil Cavuto on FOX TV, he opined, delegates are not bound to vote for a particular candidate at the convention. ‘There’s no such thing as a “pledged” delegate. We haven’t had a “robot rule” since the Carter Kennedy convention in 1980.’ Since PA is not a vote binding state, we can understand his confusion. But in fact, in these vote-binding states, the word “pledged” means exactly what it says. If even Ed Rendell is unaware some states have enacted vote binding laws, one cannot assume that Clinton’s pledged delegates are aware of such laws.

Evidence indicates that in addition to the DNC, Obama’s campaign has been pressuring Clinton-pledged delegates. For example, here is a portion of the letter sent to delegates throughout the country from Khalil Thompson out of Obama’s Chicago campaign office.

“Updates: Delegate Paperwork
Fill out you National Delegate Web Survey… http://my.barackobama.com/page/s/delegate
This is one for the Obama Campaign, so if you filled it out for the DNC and the State Party, please we the campaign still needs you to do so…
If you have not filled this out you WILL BE MENTIONED on the call, so please take the time to do so…
(“Bearing Witness”)
http://heidilipotpourri.blogspot.com/2008/08/bearing-witness.html

In any other political season, Clinton could hold her delegates’ hands, safely shepherding them through this nasty onslaught to the convention. But not now. Ever since she suspended her campaign, her delegates have been left to fend for themselves. And that’s where you come in. You can let them know: I have your back.

In those states that have enacted vote binding laws, to threaten, pressure, or coerce those pledged delegates to vote for a candidate other than the one to whom they are pledged is to solicit them to break the law. So, turn them in. Write a letter to your Attorney General, the chief law enforcement official in the state. Include the links already provided to just some of the examples of harassment occurring throughout the country. Send a copy to the Office of the Secretary of State, which in most states oversees the political parties’ participation in state elections, including qualifying the party’s candidate to get on the ballot. And, for the record, send a copy to the chair of the state Democratic Party.

Hi all,
I have been a member of Puma in Central NJ since about June. I haven’t been involved with the blogs mainly cause I lost my password and have a lot of trouble resetting it. Now I have gmail and just redid it. I will probably not be keeping up with all of you, but I certainly check you out daily. I do most all prowls except the FAX ones (no fax).I am an ex (dem) I changed party affiliation last June. It takes 50 days here in NJ to do so. I worked hard for Hillay making almost 2000 calls for her & loving every minute of it. Can’t make it to Denver but my spirit is with you all.

TOPIC: CNN’s Poll

Good morning everyone, just bopping in & out to share this newsclip. When CNN finally admits it well, you know the old saying, “Houston, we have a problem!”

~~

CNN poll of polls: Obama lead cut in half
Posted: 09:23 AM ET

A new CNN poll of polls shows Obama’s lead is dwindling.

(CNN) — In what could be an ominous sign for Barack Obama just days before he is formally named (oops, they meant “hopefully not anointed”) the Democratic presidential nominee, a new CNN poll of polls out Tuesday shows the Illinois senator’s lead over John McCain has been cut in half in recent days.

According to CNN’s average of several recent national surveys, Obama’s lead is now a slim 3 points over the Arizona senator, 46-43 percent — half of his advantage in a CNN poll of polls one week ago, and down from a high of 8 points in mid-July.

Election Center: Check out CNN’s electoral map

The latest poll results come amid increased attacks from McCain on Obama’s readiness to be commander-in-chief and the re-emergence of national security worries among voters in the wake of the Georgia crisis.

“Over the last week, we’ve seen Sen. Obama’s lead in the poll of polls cut in half,” noted CNN Senior Political Researcher Alan Silverleib. “This change was likely driven by a renewed focus on foreign policy after Russia’s invasion of Georgia, as well as by Sen. McCain’s willingness to launch more aggressive attacks against Obama on issues such as off-shore drilling.”

~~

post-script, I’m not sure why ANYONE would be supporting off-shore drilling anymore, that’s so yesterday! Not a _real_ solution as most Americans know & I certainly hope our Hillary has better plans than that…!!!

So many thoughts this morning.

Trish, Go, Caracal, Has anyone used that fabulous song by the Dixie Chicks called “Not Ready To Make Nice”? When I saw Dances’ incredible poster (made me cry) that song came to mind.

Can someone from OH post the address of the hospital where Stephanie Tubbs-Jones is. We need to send get-well cards.

Interesting from Fox/Hannity last night. Karl Rove was discussing BO’s VP picks. When asked to comment on Biden, Bayh, Kaine, and Sebelius, Karl said each of them would fill a narrow Political gap for BO, but what he desperately needed was a VP who was ready to be President…that would be…tada…Hillary Rodham Clinton. People know she is ready to be Commander in Chief. Rove said it! It’s on tape!

I don’t know if it will make a difference, but I basically told them that the media is supposed to be responsible for maintaining a system of checks and balances in our society, that they should be the police of the lies that we are fed by those that mean to “lead us” and that they should arrest somebody already.

Dear Donna Brazile:

Have you seen the polls? How is that Carl Rove “mentorship” working for yah now?

1) Did you really think you were in Carl Rove’s league?

2) Did you really believe that you had something to offer Rove, in exchange for getting your clients access to the White House - other than adding new info to his Rep Party playbook to use against the Democratic Party?

3) Did you really think that somehow you were smart enough to siphon off Rove campaign tactics to get your man, Obama, into the White House?

4) Did you really believe that Rove would leak you the map on how to defeat the Repubs in November?

5) Or, did you finally figure out how to pay back the Dem Party by insuring Clinton’s defeat, underwriting and fueling a race-baiting strategy, and setting a global stage for a grand performance of “victimized” defeat because of racism in America.

We could have at least considered it plausible had you offered us a candidate that has actually done something for furthering a cause, community, policy or the needs of “America”. Where life begins isn’t the only thing ‘above Obama’s pay grade’.

I’ll save you a text message Ms. Brazile. The answer to all of my questions is “Uhhh, uh, uhhhh, babble, uhhh, hope, babble, uhhh change, uhhh, babble, uhhh, I am the one, uhhh, logo, uhhh…

Obama has his mansion, beefed up his resume and ego a bit and made fools out of everyone he has come in contact with. You’ve both gotten what you wanted.

Why don’t you both get out of the way now and let people who are seriously committed to our Nation’s welfare get about the business of winning the White House in November.

Obama won the SELECTION. Hillary Rodham Clinton can beat McCain - which means she can win the ELECTION.

PUMAs,

We have a collaborative effort on the way in which we are calling upon all those PUMAs who would be interested in participating in a book project entitled “The Letters of Deliberation’.

To be compiled by Will Bower and Q’zeromen, we are calling for the submission of time-stamped emails and blog comments which were written to address all aspects of the 2008 presidential campaign season. These emails and blog comments should be written by PUMAs and should have been written before the time and date of this announcement.

These emails and blog comments should be ones that best express your own PUMA nature — and those thoughts and events that lead you to becoming a PUMA in the first place.

Thank you in advance for your participation in this. We very much look forward to documenting the history of our movement… as experienced and written by all of us.

TOPIC: BAD GUY LIST

I don’t know where El Paso got the info from, but I heard another PUMA say here recently that there was an interest in this on the part of a staff member from the Lou Dobbs Tonight show.

Whoever it was who contacted Dobbs, what happened with that?

I think we should all forward that list to Lou Dobbs after verifying the source of the info.

#53 jrhed, #55 chicago4truth: my twenty-something niece lives in Chicago and is disgusted with the politics and financial situation of the State — hiking public transportation fares, etc. Says Blagojevich is a disaster and BO a do-nothing Chicago-style pol. After her own observations and reading, she’s decided on McCain if Hillary doesn’t get the nomination and made the “mistake” of saying so at work when someone asked her. Her supervisor overheard and said that he “thinks less of her” for not voting for Obama and that she’s terribly “un-modern” for not voting for BO. Poor lonely Normita.

I was at the HillaryClinton.com site and saw her comment standing alone. Such faith.

Her story reminds me of a faithful Akita named Hachiko:

Chu-ken Hachiko (lit. the faithful dog Hachiko) was born in Akita in 1923 and was first brought to Tokyo in 1924. He and his owner, Mr. Eisaburo Uyeno, were inseparable friends right from the start. Each day “Hachi” would accompany Eisaburo, a professor at the Imperial University, to the train station when he left for work. Upon returning, the professor would find the dog patiently waiting, tail wagging. This happy routine continued until one fateful day in 1925, when the professor was taken ill on the job and unfortunately died before he could return home.

Despite the fact that Hachiko was less than two years old at the time, the bond between dog and owner was strong. Hachiko continued to wait each day at Shibuya station for a friend who was never coming back. At times, he wouldn’t return home for days at a stretch.

The Akita became a familiar sight to commuters as he kept his vigil for over ten years. On March 8, 1935, Hachiko finally went to meet his master. He died on the very same spot he last saw his friend alive.

———————————————————-

Someone needs to let Normita know that the lights have been turned off over there. All the regulars have gone home and sharpened their PUMA teeth for a higher cause called democracy. Like with the Hachiko story, Hillary’s candidacy, in all probability, is never coming back too.

By the way, for all who want to meet her on a personal level at the convention she is staging another “contest” to win such a date with her. All you need to do is contribute more money to be eligible.

I have an opinion about that, but I’ll let it rest for now.

I’m becoming extremely suspicious of all these coincidences that are preventing Clinton supporters from attending the Convention. The man that was shot a few days back, then Feinstein, and now Tubbs Jones. Not to mention that man in Denver that was discovered dead with cyanide and being investigated for terrorists plot. I don’t want to jump to conclusions — but I can’t help but think something really scary is going on with Obama and his chicago mafia like backers. I won’t say another word — and am not trying to jump to conclusions — but just wanted to vent that I’m suspicious of all these coincidences.

ACTION: Call David Patterson!

Hat-tip to CatFish for bringing this article to my attention

Seems the good Governor New York hasn’t gotten the latest memo. Hillary’s going to be on that roll call ballot and he needs to get the state’s delegation lined up behind their Senator. He needs a talking-to! He needs to follow the lead of Ed Rendell.

New York governor says…:

New York’s delegation to the Democratic National Convention will vote to nominate Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois for president, not Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York, Gov. David Paterson said Monday.

“Believe me, the New York delegation will be all casting our ballots, as far as I know, on the roll call for Senator Barack Obama,” Paterson said during an interview on WNYC radio. “I don’t believe Senator Hillary Clinton is asking anyone to vote for her.”

“I don’t believe…” OMG is this man really that dense? Does he need this sort of stuff spoon-fed to him? Hillary’s going to be on that ballot for a reason. To give her delegates the chance to cast their vote for her. Especially, you know… her PLEDGED DELEGATES. How can he try to take that away from her supporters and deny Hillary’s 18 million voters a voice?

So let’s contact the good Governor and ask him (respectfully) to back his state’s Senator and our one shot at beating the republicans and re-taking the White House - Hillary Clinton.

mzebest - we’re all freaked out for a zillion reasons. but, an aneurysm is an underlying physiologic medical problem that leaves a person vulerable to it rupturing, most often brought on by hypertension and the like. trauma or infection can also cause a rupture, but there doesn’t appear to be signs of truama in the case of Congresswoman Tubbs. as for feinstein’s ankle, i would think that if it were broken due to some kind of assault that would have been reported and known. it’s quite likely that this sad array of misfortunes is not unusual, but instead, that we are all much more tuned into them. people do have strokes, break bones, etc. i think we’re all just hyper vigiliant right now (and for good reason). in addition, the arkansas dnc chair and tubbs had switched their support to obama as far as i know, so they have not been publically supporting clinton for quite some time now.

we’re worried and nervous. hang in there.

Sorry, but with all the actions necessary and help needed prior to the Convention, I can’t help but think of this project as being a bit premature. Somehow it reminds me of Obama writing his memoirs at 37 years of age … premature.

It’s greta to have a head-up regarding the project, but it seems to me that every ounce of energy used to pursue and publicize this project could be used instead to write to delegates, super delegates, Senator Clinton, media, assist with the details of Puma at the Convention, etc. It just seems like another distraction and, again, premature.

maxgrader. What the h%##? Normita is one of Senator Clinton’s stanchest supporters, from the very beginning. She along with many others of us shared many long and trying and also fun-filled nights over on the hrc.com blogs. We worked hard on Sen Clinton’s behalf, and kept each other sane through it all. Normita has never faltered in her positiveness and faith in Sen Clinton and the cause to try to make her our next President.

I for one, am rather offended in your equating her to a loyal dog for crying out loud.

I agree with you. Max there is no reason for such negativity. We all deal with things differently and Normita has been a strong supporter of Hillary from the beginning, keep in mind what we always say, one person can make a difference. And Normita is doing her part to make that difference.

Also, if you think its over for Hillary, please refrain from spewing it here, many people are going to Denver from here, and they are going with pride in their hearts that they can make a difference and with a hell of a lot more hope than Bo could ever dream off.

No one needs to hear bad thoughts or vibes before they make their journey.

Washington Post article:

Obama’s Wide Web

From YouTube to Text Messaging- Candidate’s Team Connects to Voters

EXCERPTS & SUMMARY:

* “Obama’s Internet team is doing a hell of a job taking advantage of all these changes [in technology]. They’ve basically leapfrogged not just the Clinton and McCain campaigns but also the mainstream media when it comes to reaching their supporters” [through "techy" means]

* “Rospars won’t divulge the total number of people in his team. “We don’t want to give away our entire playbook,” he says”

* “…what’s striking about Obama’s [YouTube video] channel is the breadth of its content. Though most of the videos are centered on the candidate — his speeches and rallies, his TV and online ads, his TV appearances — many others feature his supporters.”

* “Never mind the polls, these videos seem to say, this is what’s happening in various homes and communities.”

* “Some bloggers say these videos are self-serving, propagandist, almost cultlike.

* They’re using TEXTING heavily:
“To me, texting is the most personal form of communication,” says Goodstein, 34. …You’re texting with your friends. Now you’re texting with Barack.”

* Text messages are sent to aske supporters to make phone calls, volunteer, go to rallies, watch BO’s TV appearances, make announcements, etc… also to answer questions.

* They’re also using social networks like Facebook and MySpace (& setting up new ones).

“Most people do not even know what BO meant by pay grade!!”

~~~~~~
I posted an explanation to this the other day but will mention it again. My ex-husband who was a military man often used this term. It’s referring to where your responsibilities lie in relation to your rank in the chain of command. If the expression is used “that’s above my pay grade,” it generally means you’ve been told to do something or execute a decision that requires someone higher up in the chain of command (and is inappropriate for that particular position).
But isn’t POTUS the highest point in that chain of command? This has nothing to do with actual pay… it’s a comment that has to do with saying it’s not his responsibility to make that decision since it’s a responsibility beyond his position in the chain of command. But as President — if he can’t take responsibility for making a decision — then who can?
BIGGEST BUYS
Looks like BO has interests in some particular states. The biggest sales, by state, were:
IN $40,000
AZ $39,000
FL $31,000
PA $30,000
OH $24,500
NH $21,500
It would be great if some extra PUMA posts got into the news boards in these states about this.
#185 MountainSong on 08.20.08 at 12:56 pm
81 Maryland PUMA ~~According to the article, Obama DOES retain support among 90% of black voters.
Given that, it woyld be hard not to think his campaign is ALL about being black. He doesn’t state any specific stand on anu of the real issues because he believes just being black is going to get him elected. And the black women friends I have say they don’t know anything about ‘issues’ and are voting for him because the sooo want to see a black president.
I think they may be in for a rather huge surprise come November, since blacks only make up 13% of total population of the United States. Everyone else, or most of them either see right through him or are beginning to.
