Countdown to Denver, 6 Days to Go!

At Puma PAC HQ, planning and preparing has reached fever pitch. The t-shirts, banners, signs, and water bottles have been shipped. The stage and equipment for Cheesman Park are reserved. Invitations to the Puma PAC Reception for Delegates and Media are being sent out today.

Patrick is making sure the bloggers will have internet access.

Ladyboomer is making sure the radio shows will have guests.

Igor is making sure everyone will be safe (not kidding!).

Jessi is making sure everyone will have posters and t-shirts.

Diane is making sure our Media and Delegate Outreach is a smashing success.

Riverdaughter is making sure everyone at home stays on top of the politics.

Brad and Lori are making sure everything is documented for posterity.

Saharra is making sure our Beautiful Protest and Rise is beautiful and inspiring.

John and Michele are making sure the delegates don’t lose their nerve.

Piper is making sure everyone is organized and focused.

Dana is making sure all our supplies arrive safe and sound in Denver.

Taffy is making sure we didn’t forget glue sticks.

MP is making sure no one goes crazy.

And dances is making sure of everything.

I’ll be away from computer for a few hours this morning — but not to worry. There should be a PROWL in your email boxes already, or very shortly. Keep contacting your state delegates today to make sure they know

Not sure about you, but I sense a shift in the wind. Is Ed Rendell’s plan to cast a real vote for Clinton on the first roll call just an expression of his desire for unity in the party? There couldn’t be a deeper meaning behind it could there be? I mean, it’s not like he’s an experienced politician or anything. No way could his announcement be a signal that all is not peachy keen in the Obama-DONC-SD Love Nest, right?

I mean, really, Obama is taking off! The guy is soaring in the polls; his performance at the Faith Forum on Saturday received unanimous raves; he continues to be a model of graciousness and charming modesty; small children look up to him; Ohio housewives send home-baked apple pies by the dozen to his headquarters in Chicago because the solid base of blue-state, middle class Democrats are just CRAZY about the guy; among college students Obama is more popular than Facebook; and everyone just LOVES Michelle — heck she’s turning out to be more charming, lovable, and admirable than Jackie, Ladybird, Betty, Rosalind, Abigail, and Eleanor all rolled into one — I bet Obama could win this thing simply on the grounds that his wife is such an American Treasure!

Howard Dean must feel like a true genius right now. Things couldn’t have gone better for the Democratic Party this year, and it’s all thanks to his leadership. Thanks a million Howie! I just KNEW we could win the White House this year for sure. EXCELLENT idea to tip the scales for an inexperienced, superficial, pandering, unaccomplished, unvetted candidate. That was such a great idea! Oh, and you’re right — Hillary Clinton still is a nasty old meany! It was BRILLIANT of you to let the sexist disdain for Clinton muddy the waters and make it more difficult for her to ever dare to wade back into the waters of national competition. Congratulations — you sure helped dock her ambitions and dreams — woo-hoo!

TODAY IS A NEW DAY PUMA PAC, Be wonderful to each other!

Does anyone have a prowl in their mailbox as Murphy said or is it coming?
Also, I have e-mailed MarylandPuma 3 times to get the spreadsheet of the delegates that JBJD said was available last Saturday. Who else has it so I can ge it? I got an e-mail from Taffy but it doesn’t have contact info. I was under the assumption that a list was being done and would have all the contact info. Does anyone have JBJD’s contact info. He stated that Florida didn’t have legal requirements that delegate had to honor their vote; however, that does not mean that I won’t contact everyone.

#9 virginia.puma on 08.19.08 at 6:36 am

No prowl for me either.

Sorry, forgot to wish everyone going to Denver the best of luck and here’s hoping our Hillary will be the nominee!

I may not be able to do much today as we have a hurricane coming and I need to go outside now (still a little dark) and take in the rest of the stuff we didn’t last nite. Still have bird feeders, wind chimes and little statues around my pond. This is a real wildlife refuge! I hope the little marsh rabbits and raccoons and all of God’s other creatures will be o.k.

I know this isn’t an all women’s group, but has an invite been sent to Hillary to meet PUMAS? Following found in CNN link.

The Lingering What-If Question: Clinton?

….Women’s groups are also planning a parade and rally in Mrs. Clinton’s honor for next Tuesday in Denver. (A Clinton spokeswoman said Monday that she did not know whether Mrs. Clinton had been invited.)….

#14 Virginia.Puma I’m in Florida and live on a mitigated marsh overlooking the golf course on the other side. The marsh has not had much water in it so we really need the rain. My yard has been certified by the National Wildlife Federation, I have tons of native plants for butterflies, a huge grapefruit and orange tree, honeysuckle, just everything. The only problem is that this county is the fastest growing county in the NATION :( and also has the lowest per capita income. I hate how it has grown. I’m originally from Miami but that became a third world country and this place will eventually get there. I haven’t moved because I can’t find anything that would be better.

#18 Lin4Hill on 08.19.08 at 7:03 am

To the brave PUMAs who will be representing all of us in Denver, I send you a raucous roar and a high scratching paw. Those of us who cannot physically go are present in each and every one of you….wrapping you in our pride and love. Our spirits are walking right beside you. Thank you.
——————-
Murphy, you’re right on! The ONC thought it would be a piece of cake, and that all Democrats would buy into the Obaminsanity. Here’s hoping they learn one hell of a lesson in November.

To all our friends in this storm-prone zone: be safe.

Stay safe everyone.

Good Morning Pumas

I was just reading some of the posts about the Saddleback Forum. It’s actually funny in a way. XO’s supporters totally believe McCain had the questions beforehand. So sad. Each candidate was given a “list of topics” in which questions would be asked. But, oh no, you can’t convince Obots that!! Once has to chuckle sometimes………..

#21 hoosiermike on 08.19.08 at 7:20 am

Best wishes to everyone in Denver. Thank you all for taking the battle to the convention for us. It seems like “forever-ago” that we all remember hearing those memorable quotes during the RBC Meeting. “See you in Denver” and “Don’t worry Hillary–we’ll take it from here” Well, by golly we’ve done just that, and we are putting our money where our mouths are.

I’ll be anxiously following every PUMA move in Denver either via cable news, radio or internet. Stay safe PUMAs.

Time to write a few delegate letters and call a few offices first thing this morning. Let’s get busy….

#22 1gypsy4mc on 08.19.08 at 7:25 am

Oh, the above post was in reference to an article by CNN.

I didn’t have any prowls today yet either. I’m still trying to get my other ones done.

Anyone here from Florida? Hope everyone is okay.

Good luck in Denver, everyone! You are all an inspiration. This group truly represents the people’s democracy. I am somewhat of a silent member, but I read everything, do my PROWLS, contribute monthly and root everyone on! So congratulations to Murphy, Mama, Maryland, Trish and everyone here who does such an amazing job! By the way new article this morning on the McCain camp noticing some partisanship in the press–particularly NBC. No! Unheard of. :)

If it wasn’t serious, it would be downright hilarious. McCain already has mentioned names before about the Supreme Court Justices, he has already told everyone before about the “cross” in the sand and what it meant to him. In fact, all the questions asked, have already been raised before. It is XO that got into trouble!!

Left to my own devices, I put together the PROWL on my own, with the editorial assistance of an angel from CA. It’s 7:45 AM here; we were up all night. The PROWL has been sent to Maryland PUMA, in final form, with detailed instructions and links to the spread sheets containing the names and addresses of pledged delegates in each state. The only thing she has to do now, is post my PROWL on top of the blog. That’s it.

There’s nothing else I can do to get this out. Nothing.

Good morning, I don’t think they’ve been sent yet - well, I haven’t gotten one that is.

#37 doria on 08.19.08 at 8:10 am

I posted this late last night. I was so angry I couldn’t sleep.
UNBELIEVABLE

Have any of you wondered why SuperDelegate Robert Byrd WV came out and endorsed BO after Hillary won his State by 41 points??????

Just read this in last chapter of Fredosso’s book:

“On March 29, 2005, the newly elected Senator Obama sent out a fundraising email through MoveOn.org on behalf of his friend and mentor, Robert Byrd of WV. Within 24 hours, more than 15,000 donors had contributed a total of $634,000 to the aging Democrat.”

This just has to be added to our corruption list. I am flabbergasted!!!

If many of you were like me, we knew that politics was a stew of money, influence-peddling, expediency, and pandering. For the first time in my life, not only am I watching the sausage being made, but I feel like I am in the grinder.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/08/its_no_longer_just_about_hilla.html

I LOVE this paragraph in this article!!!
It says it all………….

“For many of these women, whatever nice things Clinton says about Obama in Denver won’t matter much. They have decided that they can live with McCain, and they’re already inoculated against the crude anatomical references that left-wing bloggers will send their way. (There’s not one they haven’t heard.) Hillary can’t do much to change their feelings — even if she wanted to.”

#39 1gypsy4mc on 08.19.08 at 8:16 am

37 doria
I’m reading this book right now. So many people still believe in good ol’ democracy. I’m not very far into the book yet though. More people should be made aware of the political corruption and how BO was “made to order.”

#42 TexasTigress on 08.19.08 at 8:20 am

notyoursweetie , thanks for that link - this is what I posted over there ..

For me , this has never been about Sen. Clinton OR Sen. Obama . This has always been about the actions of the DNC , Howard Dean , Nancy Pelosi , Donna Brazile et. al . It became obvious early on that they were trying to subvert the process and shove an inexperienced , unvetted candidate down our throats .
We Clinton supporters were portrayed as being racist or bitter when most of us just wanted healthcare .
We watched the media defame and degrade an American leader simply because she is a woman . They never attacked her on her vision or her plans to move the country forward . They attacked her tears , her laughter , and her anatomy .
Then , when she continued to defy them by actually WINING major states in the primaries , they did the unthinkable when they STOLE votes from her and gave them to her opponent .
The decisions made that day by the DNC R&B committee sealed the deal for me . Their actions made it impossible for me to EVER support their candidate .
There is NOTHING that Sen. Clinton could ever say or do to prompt me to support a corrupt party or vote for a candidate who has encouraged vitriole in order to promote his own egocentric agenda .
I am holding out hope that Sen. Clinton will do the right thing and stand up to the DNC , and we will be able to rid our beloved party of those corrupt individuals in power , but , if worse comes to worse , we will have ample time while John McCain is in office to rebuild from the ground up .

The New Agenda’s agenda is to look out for women’s political interests where the Democratic Party and old-line feminist organizations had failed. The attendees reserved special fury for the Democratic National Committee and its passivity before the misogynistic carnival. One of their specifics is getting MSNBC jester Chris Matthews fired — and if he intends to run for the Senate from Pennsylvania, to end that idea.
________________________________________

Does anyone know how we can contact and get involved with this group, “New Agenda”?

#51 jbjd on 08.19.08 at 8:39 am

Caracal Carrie

Did I see where? On that horrid list? I went crazy searching for the binding laws from a couple of states on the list. I searched statutes, codes, session laws… The letters were complete except for those cites: the names of the A’sG; the S’s of S; the chairs of the state Democratic Party, and all of their contact info. And this wasn’t easy. Not all state officers want to be contacted. But I just couldn’t find these laws. So finally, I called those state offices; and waited on hold; or summarily . And finally, I reached the appropriate source of all answers, and learned, there is no such law in my state. So I deleted these letters; and started all over again, on another state, realizing if I didn’t find the binding law in a reasonable time then, this state wasn’t a binding vote state. Period. (In CO, a very nice man suggested I should burn the list.)

I’m just about done with KY; then, NH. Waiting for the PROWL to post with CA, IN, and OR. Everyone works on each state. Read the instructions.

Dear Hillary,

I am asking that you NOT release your delegates on the floor at the roll call in Denver. No matter what, some of us will NOT vote for Obama this fall. He is not our candidate, and because the DNC chose to run the primary in the manner in which they did, there will be no party unity until they resume to follow the very rules by which they are governed. We 18,000 cracks choose you, and will only vote for you. Give us the chance.

I can really get with The New Agenda and I absolutely agree NOW does not understand the use of power. Here is the info the NYT article refers to:

Dear Friends,

We are so pleased to tell you that Sen. Clinton and Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones have confirmed they will be our special guests at our launch event at the Convention in Denver on Tuesday, Aug. 26th.

You were among our first and most loyal supporters, so we’d love you to forward the invitation below to friends in your networks who you think might be interested in attending our lunch.

Hope to see you in Denver on the 26th.

Warmly,

Good morning PUMAs: I am in today; getting the tropical storm, Faye; office is closed, wind and rain, and a tornado watch covering the entire peninsula.

A suggestion on getting the fax/e-mail to Senator Clinton. Go into the delegate website below, click the state of NY, and then send your message to Senator Clinton by selecting her name. President Clinton is on the list too, so I am sending the note to him as well. You can fax that way or e-mai directly to them.

Stay safe Floridians. Actually this is kind of exciting as long as it isn’t a full blown hurricane.

Carrie or Trish, you both do such great videos, I have a suggestion tell me if its possible and what you think….

How about putting together a video of PUMAs? We could all email you pics. I think it would be neat to have the faces of PUMAs who have dedicated themselves to this important cause, who can not travel to Denver. What do you think? You could mix the PUMA pics in with Hillary pics. I know we have men PUMAs too, but the Helen Reddy song, “I am Woman” has a lot of meaning that would work really nice with it. Let me know what you think, I have a few pics I would love to send. This could also coincide with the celebration of the Women’s Sufferage of 88 yrs. You could include it in your videos you are going to be playing at the convention.

This could be one way the PUMAs who are not able to attend the convention could be present. Also, all of us at home could light white candles during the time the PUMAs will be holding their ceremony, so we will all be united.

My favorite saying for the day is,
“Democrats, we’re JUST NOT INTO YOU anymore.”

It’s a great idea, but I don’t know how successful that would be. Many PUMAs preferred to be anonymous at the convention, i.e. without a face, due to the obvious reprecussions many members have reported.

What would be doable is a video message to Hillary from our members - a short two sentence of the members’ own choosing and their city, state. Find a pic that represents your sentiment and send it with your message.

I know Trish is extremely busy at work (she got PROMOTED! YAY!) so if she can’t take this on, then perhaps another PUMA can?

That would be AWESOME to be able to air at our PUMA HQ in Denver.

#99 lizben08 on 08.19.08 at 9:34 am

Thanks PUMA for fighting for a fair process in Denver.

As much as I want Hillary as a nominee, I want legitimacy in the Democratic Party more. I am struggling with how to vote this fall, but know I cannot vote for a party that betrays its constituents.

Will be watching Denver closely and so glad to hear we will be able to stay current through PUMA. Wish I could go, but donating to help send all of you instead.

I really do have to get some work done today, cause I really slacked off yesterday . (This just seems so much more important right now), but I wanted to mention something while it was on my mind.

I was thinking last night that I noticed many posts in the last few days that say “I usually don’t post” .
I know for myself anyway that I seem to be experiencing more anxiety than usual as time for the convention draws near. Also really feel a sense of separation from everything because I can not attend in Denver. Therefore I seem to need to be on the blog constantly for my own comfort level.

I just wanted to say to those who are not going to Denver and for those who just usually lurk to PLEASE consider making your presence known next week.

Just a note to say “I’m Here” or whatever. May seem silly to some but we need to connect here constantly and keep each other strong, too!
Of course our hearts and prayers will be with our traveling PUMA family.

Just a thought!

Be sure to have a big pool of water on stage so FLIPPER can do all his tricks for his fans!

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows Barack Obama attracting 45% of the vote while John McCain earns 42%. When “leaners” are included, it’s Obama 47% and McCain 45%.

I bet after the convention fanfair, and if OB is the nominee, the numbers will not increase but perhaps go down like after his ‘citizen of the world’ trip.

Last Chance to Lobby Delegates Before Nomination
Tuesday, August 19, 2008

Dear Super Delegate Lobbyist:

Thanks to YOU — and over 25,000 other users — Super Delegates are hearing the views of rank-and-file Democrats about who to choose as the Party’s Presidential nominee.

You know how close this year’s Democratic Primary contest was, and you know the unprecedented power Super Delegates were given over the nomination battle between Senators Clinton and Obama. You also know that LobbyDelegates.com provided the ONLY means for you and other rank-and-file voters to influence Super Delegates, who could nominate whoever they desired, regardless of which candidate won the primary in your state or any other.

We at the StateDemocracy Foundation hope you appreciate that our LobbyDelegates.com website was absolutely crucial in allowing at least some popular input into a decision-making process that threatened to substitute the will of an elite few Super Delegates for the Will of The People.

You now have one last chance to lobby these 800+ top party officials before they vote August 28 at the Denver National Convention, and we encourage you to do so again by going to LobbyDelegates.com.

Remember, email is FREE, as is printing out your addressed letters to stamp and mail to the Super Delegates you desire. With time of such essence, you may wish to FAX your message by making a $5 minimum donation to our StateDemocracy Foundation (to cover our fax vendor costs).

The StateDemocracy Foundation thanks you for supporting LobbyDelegates.com, and we especially appreciate those of you who made a contribution to partially help underwrite this public interest initiative.

Please consider making another tax-deductible contribution (or your first one) to support LobbyDelegates.com and our other efforts promoting civic engagement — such as StateDemocracy.org, our free, 1-stop portal connecting constituents to their state and federal lawmakers. You can also visit StateDemocracy.org for access to voter registration, absentee ballots and polling place locators for jurisdictions throughout the nation.

Sincerely,

Ken Laureys

Prowl completed. Here is my letter that I wrote Hillary.
606 738-4433

August 19, 2009

Dear Senator Clinton,

I am writing this letter to encourage you and to ask that you do not release your delegates on the floor at the roll call. You have encouraged so many Americans in knowing that with YOU as our President, our country can be turned around and be restored to the place that it should be.

You have been bullied and pushed around by a group of people who want to be able to have the power to further corrupt our nation. You are truly our only hope. I have fought for you since the beginning and will continue the fight to the end. I have been in a situation similar to the one you are in. Of course, I have not run for President, lol, but I work in a man’s world. I am self employed and because I did not “fall in line” with the powers that be, I lost my contract with the county and was financially ruined. In a way, this is the same thing that happened to you. I took what was done to you personally, since I was bullied and threatened etc. and know first hand what that feels like.

I watched you go through many stages, you were tough, you were human, you were brilliant, and no matter what they did to you, they could not break you. You have won my admiration and respect. You will go down in the history books as the President who should have been and right now, I firmly believe that you will be our next one.

I am so disappointed with the Democratic Party, and have been a lifelong democrat, but unless it is you on the top of the ticket, I will be voting for a different candidate since I know without a doubt, that Obama is NOT going to win this election. The DNC thinks we are all stupid and that we do not know and realize what they have done. They have become so corrupt and dishonest that they have destroyed the party.

Please, once again, I am begging you to not give up the fight. We are PUMAPAC and we are with you all the way.

Sincerely,

Prowl done. Here’s the fax I sent to Senator Clinton. #88 Flower Child, thanks for the tip, I sent it there as well. The first two paragraphs were somewhat plagiarized from a letter posted here yesterday, but I don’t know who to credit. I have an appointment but will be back later to do more actions. If you can use any part of this letter, feel free. Love you Pumas!

August 19, 2008

Dear Senator Clinton,

I am writing to you as a lifelong Democrat. I have heard continuous reports in the in the media that your name will be placed in nomination at the Democratic National Convention, but you will release your pledged delegates on the floor at the roll call vote. While it is my sincere hope that I’m being misinformed, I felt it necessary to weigh in on this matter.

I am one of 18 million voters who cast their vote for you during this historic primary. I cast that vote believing that it would be represented on the convention floor by a delegate from my state assigned to support you. If your name is only placed in nomination symbolically without a fair and honest roll call vote, the entire process is rendered meaningless and my trip to the poll was a complete waste of time. Is this democracy?

Second, as a woman, what message does this send? I watched how hard you worked during the primary, Senator. I saw the drive and determination, the tenacity and unending dedication you brought to this process. It reminded me of my own struggle to achieve the rank of Sergeant Major in the Army. I know firsthand how tough it is to compete in a traditionally male field. The thing is, Senator, you were virtually tied at the end of this contest. Now, women all over America who watched the same epic struggle I did are being told, yes, you can compete, but no, at the end, you must just step back, be quiet, and let the less qualified male have the glory. I totally reject that. We women have worked too hard for equal rights to see such a travesty unfolding before our very eyes. Please stand up for us.

In closing, I urge you to demand the honest and fair roll call which you have earned and to direct your delegates to cast their votes accordingly without undue pressure or influence. We don’t want a dog and unity pony show at the convention, Senator. We want to see the standing rules followed and may the best candidate win.

As a member of Puma Pac who has worked diligently to secure your nomination, I hope you will consider my thoughts and I wish you luck.

Sincerely,

XXXXXXXXX

8/19/08 Prowl completed!

Date: 08/19/2008

Senator Clinton
Friends of Hillary
Fax: 703-962-8600

Dear Senator Clinton:

We are delighted to finally hear that your name will be placed in nomination and that a roll call will occur, as has been the protocol in previous Conventions.

However, after having read several articles on this issue, it is also striking that the AP has written a few days ago “…how the vote will play out still are being determined.” It has been written and heavily televised (by surrogates of Senator Obama), that you will release your delegates to Senator Obama.

I am one of your supporters requesting that you do not release your delegates on the floor at the roll call. Senator Obama needs to obtain the nomination by being elected (not selected). Anything less than a true election (i.e., coronation) will not sit right among your supporters and I will have lost all faith in the Democratic Party.

However, even if Senator Obama is elected as the Democratic nominee, there are millions of your supporters that unfortunately no matter how much you try to unite us into the Obama fold, we will not comply. We all have our own reasons, but we are united in knowing that he simply is “not the one” to be leading our country in these times and we will put our Country first over the Democratic Party. Note that many of my Republican friends switched their registrations to Democrat just for the PA Primary, specifically so they could vote for you—again, putting their Country ahead of their Party because they felt as I do that you are the best candidate to move our country forward.

In closing, if I don’t see you walk out of the Convention as the nominee, I will be reluctantly supporting and voting for John McCain in the fall; but, should you decide to run again in 2012, which millions of us know you have the courage and strength to do, I will be here to support you again as I have in 2008.

Sincerely,

MY NAME
A PA PUMA Pac Democrat

Tou are a true angel to the little and not so little critters of the world. Is there anyway to erect temporary shelters during the hurricane that won’t blow around and endanger other things? My parent lived on the gulf side for about 10 years (NewPort Richey) and I couldn’t believe how much that area changed over that time.

I am not sure where to post this. This is my first posting for this site. I received the prowl re Corsi’s book yesterday; so, I am reporting my response here. This morning, while performing this prowl, I referenced the suggested “talking points” from Obama. Anyway, this is what I sent off to all available newspapers on the form:

The Obama campaign asks us to “Expose Jerome Corsi as a Right-Wing Fabricator”. It provides “talking points” proclaiming: “The media are not playing their role as watchdogs.” Ordinarily, I would rally and criticize Corsi’s new book. Then I review the “talking points” and I am reminded of how much more energy Obama spends on winning a race and than actually accomplishing something in office. I recall how this media darling remained gleefully silent while the press routinely tarred and feathered Sen. Clinton. I remember his dismissive statements about her experience and his condescending reference to her “claws”. I am reminded how the press branded the Clintons racist and how Obama has used that and other race cards to his advantage. I know Mr. Corsi has caused so much damage with his muckraking. I am not a fan. Yet, I see our divided party and remember that Sen. Obama has sanctioned the belittling of older voters, women, blue-colored workers and others who question his candidacy. Obama’s “talking points” suggest the use of terms like “bigot”, “smears” and “slime artists”. Naturally, I recall the thug tactics Obama has not only popularized among his supporters, but used against fellow Democrats. I am sorry Sen. Obama. You point one finger towards another, and the other four point back at you. Sadly, I am reminded once again why I am a PUMA.

*** MEMBER ADVISORY ***

As we approach the Convention and our voices grow louder, opposition tactics have, and will continue, to increase in number and severity.

Please make sure you scan your computer as frequently as you can. Be aware of “funny” things happening. Expect delays and “issues” with the blog. Be aware of who is around you at all times, especially if you are an identifiable PUMA or HRC supporter or have these items displayed around your personal property.

I applaud all of you for taking a stand, standing up, and being counted.

TO: those who WILL mock this post from outside this blog

You have no idea what our members have endured IN PERSON, UP FRONT AND PERSONAL. Accosting another human being for a differing viewpoint is WRONG. Destroying their personal property is WRONG. Tampering with our communication and personal technology is WRONG. Intimidation is WRONG. Threats are WRONG. Slander is WRONG.

PUMA PACers accost or attack no one. We protest peacefully. And we’re good at it.

Regarding the section on abortion;

After viewing the video below that sign should read;

Obama voted for that bill which would prevent the end of term abortion.
As mush as I am for pro choice, I cannot believe they perform abortion at the end of a trimester.

Here is my PROWL from the 18th! MY letter to the Media!! GO HILLARY & PUMA PAC! I am so proud to be a PUMA! You guys make it wonderful for those without money to still contribute to your cause of Helping Hillary!! Thank you Murphy & Everyone else for being so excellent!

Dear Ladies & Gentleman of the Press,

I have not read the book Obama Nation, but I can tell you it does seem as though this is such. Every time I turned on my T.V. to watch the Primary season, the Media seemed to be holding its punches against the Senator. However when it came to his opponents they were ready to let loose. As you Now notice, the Senator isn’t all he & his campaign have made him out to be. He has hardly any Senatorial legislation to point to, both in the U.S. & Illinois State Senate. He has said he wants to bring change in politics, yet flip flops with the rest of them.

With the crises in Georgia he came off rather weak, while his opponent John McCain came off as strong. Even his former Democratic rival Hillary Clinton came off strong. This is not someone I want leading my country in a time of War. I do not approve of the war in Iraq, I have been against it. However we are there, and it is no use crying over spilled milk. We need someone with foreign policy experience, not a “Rock Star” That goes on “Tour” overseas.

I am a member of P.U.M.A. PAC and believe to this day that Hillary Clinton would have made a great President. And if the conniving DNC gets their way she won’t be the nominee in Denver, so I have to vote whom I feel can lead our country in a time of war. Obviously I refer to Republican Senator John McCain. He has that experience necessary to lead us in the War on Terror, the physical wars in Iraq & Afghanistan and any other conflicts in the future.

To iterate the difficulty I personally have in not voting Democrat, I will tell you that I am a Gay American. I know that the GOP will never give me equal rights or treatment, that only the Democratic party will. But I have learned in my brief 30 years of life that sometimes there are more important things than yourself, or party loyalty. I would be a fool to vote only on Party line this time. As I have stated Senator Obama is not qualified to lead our country. John McCain is so qualified.

So what does that make me? Am I a Democrat turned Republican? No. I am a Democrat turned Independent. I will do my best for now and until the end of my life to vote not along party lines, but based on qualifications & experience to lead our great nation in to the future.

I will say that if Hillary makes the ticket in 2012 I will vote for her. Not because she is Democrat, but because I truly believe she has the experience to be the leader of the free world. One of the mistakes the Media has made about her, is that she is not Bill. She is not the extension of his legacy or even his Presidency. She is her own Person. She is her own strength and her own character. She will think and act for herself, and not what ever her husband wants. Women are truly the Intellectual equals to men in both experiences and qualifications, and can be the leader of the Greatest Nation on Earth.

Thank you for your time,

Dameon L. Huber

I am waiting for our promo people to bring me a finished version of one of our Denver T-shirts. The saleswoman says pics will not do it justice!

Bracelets are HERE!

Will post pics as soon as I can, so keep checking the threader!

Everything is being shipped to Denver so I can’t ship or take orders for anything right now. I will have a full list and pictures and prices available as soon as I can. Dana has agreed to take pics and send them as the items come in. Everything you asked for, we got. ALL items will ship Priority Flat Rate Box or envelope. You can use the USPS link to determine cost for shipping. This shipping allows me to get a great rate regardless of weight and a tracking number at a fraction of the cost of other methods.

This has been a CRAZY project due to time constraints and logistics.
