I always have trouble logging on to Wordpress. They gave me such an abominable password. Can I change it to something simpler?
I want to send a check for Pumapac, but am at my camp and can't do it until tomorrow. Will that be too late?

TOPIC: My Thank You Note to Geraldine Feraro

I feel like a little kid turning in their homework late, LOL...hey, I sent it out at noon on my lunch break, I guess that's all that matters.

~ ~ ~

As a fellow supporter of Hillary Clinton, I just wanted to express my sincere appreciation to you for speaking out publicly about sexism in today's society.

As a member of PUMApac and a former precinct worker, I have been speaking out about Hillary to everyone who will listen. And I know all too well how lonely it can feel to speak out when you're the only one. I've been there, time and time again (I've worked in forestry all my life, a very male-dominated profession)!

How well I remember when you ran for Vice President on the ticket with Mondale. You stood as a beacon of hope for women everywhere, and continue to do so today.

Thank you so much - you make a big difference to so many of us!

Dear Knoxville Puma,

Hello. I am only presuming that you read many of these comments, not unlike other anti-puma pac bloggers who obviously do the same.

I have only a vague awareness as to why there was a falling out between you and this pac. I have a feeling that you are like many pumas: one who questions authority and feels a need to stand up against the powers that be when you perceive injustice.
My sense, however, is that you are controlling and seem to have a vindictive spirit with regard to Murphy and this pac and I consider that to be a distraction to the entire puma movement. I see that anti-pumas seem to revel in your indignant stance, and enjoy publishing your feelings of betrayal and concern, while simultaneously mocking you and all of us as a group. I think that reflects poorly on you, especially when they wish to exploit your concerns for the sole purpose of degrading the entire puma movement. I do think you are a true puma, so when will the time come to pass when you ask yourself if your pursuits are causing more harm than good?

You do not do the budgeting for this pac, and so the financial aspect of this organization is not in your control. Just because monies spent are not being spent the way you would spend them does not mean that there is any waste going on. Murphy has already explained what she is raising the money for (Denver is high on the list), and she discloses the amount of money raised in accordance with the law.

I believe one of your issues is the documentary? I'm not sure why? Perhaps you are the sort who is impatient and wishes to see immediate results, or you are the sort who appreciates short term goals instead of alternative long-term goals. As you know, there has been a massive effort in the media to promote Obama, one could argue there is a serious media misinformation campaign that occurred during the democratic primaries, and continues to this day. The only way to bring the truth to a massive amount of people is via media, and the only way to get the whole story out is to produce one's own argument with proof. You know that an article or a television appearance would never fully inform as many people as a documentary filled with anecdotal evidence and visual proof. Why can't different groups have different plans? This is her pac, and not yours, and not mine.

While I think it is important to question others and have a healthy amount of suspicion with regard to any organization...it is something else to make blanket accusations and allegations without proof or reasonable cause. It's so harmful, and such a waste of energy. For the amount of time it takes you to spread your comments, and emails, and for Murphy to address them here, and for me to address you here, it surely has wasted several hours of precious action time. Anti-pumas delight in this fact. Perhaps you do as well, since you are receiving time and attention?

How are you being helpful to the puma movement in this respect?

I try to get along with all pumas, but there are ones with whom I don't agree, and some rub me wrong, which is normal and expected as far as I'm concerned. I doubt everybody loves me, and that's ok. I do however care about the puma movement and our universal goals, and I would defend those I'm not especially in favor of due to my commitment and loyalty to the cause. One pac, or one group of others would not cause me so much...angst. For a fighter, is it possible you a touch thin-skinned, and lack a level of maturity necessary to fight the big fight? Personally, I would consider myself above it all if I was in your shoes, and I'd work even harder to prove my effectiveness. We are not the same people, obviously, but certainly I wouldn't be so offended at society. Society offends. This is just the way I see it.

I'm not sure if you have a pac? But if you do, and you are furthering the puma goals, I think it's great, and it wouldn't be my business how you run your pac. Perhaps people would contribute to you in good faith, and that is their right, and wouldn't that be all to the good--even if I would personally run my own pac differently than you?

I think you feel hurt and angry, and you feel like you are on the moral high ground, but if you are causing the same amount of damage (and worse) than those rabid anti-puma people, perhaps you could try to reevaluate your position...somewhat? If you were hurt, I am sorry for your hurt. You are now hurting others though, and now you have lost your higher ground, even among those (like me) who took your concerns with a grain of salt. I do try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, so why not try with respect to Puma Pac?

PUMA is a big group. It is OK to not like Puma Pac. That's fine, but just let it be and let's all work together on different platforms toward the same universal goals, both short-term, and long-term.

I have nothing personally against you. I would currently attempt to be friendly to you in person, but let's get on with this and focus on the big picture. Let's move on past this animosity and team up for the same ultimate goals, albeit on different stages (blogs). You are just a click away, and so am I, and so are all of us. What we have all accomplished independently and as a unit is truly astounding, and it does take patience and an ability to adapt.

I feel the need to add that Just Say No Deal is its own website, however each blog or site linked to it takes responsibility for their individual content and JSND is not responsible for others. There are no bosses in this movement. Some have perceived leadership roles, spokesperson roles, and organizational roles, but there are not any bosses, and there is not even "puma" without us, so beseeching Will or Murphy or others with regard to complaint is fine, but we are all our own bosses. If you are trying to access a general manager of sorts, it is not going to be found.

In any event, I hope we can all move on from this, and if that is not the case, I would genuinely begin to wonder why your efforts against puma have seemingly become your main objective.

I've tried to be respectful, and I do request, as a fellow puma, that you please refrain from causing further discord within our movement.

Take care.

SheShePUMA you're right She She, delegates are supposed to do exactly what you said. I found out that in Oregon one of the Hillary delegates is now trying to get the other Hillary delegates to vote for Obama. As soon as I found out I e-mailed her that she was breaking the rules and that as an Oregon Hillary supporter I want her to follow the rules and vote my vote. I sent it today with some other harsh words and expect an answer by tomorrow. If I do not get an answer I am going directly to the dnc leadership and I will file a suit.
