from “Women’s Rights Are Human Rights,” a speech by Hillary Clinton delivered to the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, September 5, 1995. Read the whole thing HERE, it’s worth it.
“As an American, I want to speak up for women in my own country – women who are raising children on the minimum wage, women who can’t afford health care or child care, women whose lives are threatened by violence, including violence in their own homes.
I want to speak up for mothers who are fighting for good schools, safe neighborhoods, clean air and clean airwaves; for older women, some of them widows, who have raised their families and now find that their skills and life experiences are not valued in the workplace; for women who are working all night as nurses, hotel clerks, and fast food cooks so that they can be at home during the day with their kids; and for women everywhere who simply don’t have time to do everything they are called upon to do each day.
Speaking to you today, I speak for them, just as each of us speaks for women around the world who are denied the chance to go to school, or see a doctor, or own property, or have a say about the direction of their lives, simply because they are women. The truth is that most women around the world work both inside and outside the home, usually by necessity.
We need to understand that there is no formula for how women should lead their lives. That is why we must respect the choices that each woman makes for herself and her family. Every woman deserves the chance to realize her God-given potential.
We also must recognize that women will never gain full dignity until their human rights are respected and protected.
No one should be forced to remain silent for fear of religious or political persecution, arrest, abuse or torture.
Tragically, women are most often the ones whose human rights are violated.
Even in the late 20th century, the rape of women continues to be used as an instrument of armed conflict. Women and children make up a large majority of the world’s refugees. When women are excluded from the political process, they become even more vulnerable to abuse.
I believe that, on the eve of a new millennium, it is time to break our silence. It is time for us to say here in Beijing, and the world to hear, that it is no longer acceptable to discuss women’s rights as separate from human rights.
These abuses have continued because, for too long, the history of women has been a history of silence. Even today, there are those who are trying to silence our words.
The voices of this conference and of the women at Huairou must be heard loud and clear: It is a violation of human rights when babies are denied food, or drowned, or suffocated, or their spines broken, simply because they are born girls.
It is a violation of human rights when women and girls are sold into the slavery of prostitution.
It is a violation of human rights when women are doused with gasoline, set on fire and burned to death because their marriage dowries are deemed too small.
It is a violation of human rights when individual women are raped in their own communities and when thousands of women are subjected to rape as a tactic or prize of war.
It is a violation of human rights when a leading cause of death worldwide among women ages 14 to 44 is the violence they are subjected to in their own homes.
It is a violation of human rights when young girls are brutalized by the painful and degrading practice of genital mutilation.
It is a violation of human rights when women are denied the right to plan their own families, and that includes being forced to have abortions or being sterilized against their will.
If there is one message that echoes forth from this conference, it is that human rights are women’s rights – and women’s rights are human rights. Let us not forget that among those rights are the right to speak freely – and the right to be heard.
Women must enjoy the right to participate fully in the social and political lives of their countries if we want freedom and democracy to thrive and endure.
It is indefensible that many women in nongovernmental organizations who wished to participate in this conference have not been able to attend – or have been prohibited from fully taking part.
Let me be clear. Freedom means the right of people to assemble, organize, and debate openly. It means respecting the views of those who may disagree with the views of their governments. It means not taking citizens away from their loved ones and jailing them, mistreating them, or denying them their freedom or dignity because of the peaceful expression of their ideas and opinions.
God’s blessings on you, your work and all who will benefit from it.”
Is there another politician alive in this country who has written and delivered such a speech?

Go PUMA!!
coupon clipping, bitter ect ect
In response to downstairs.
Obama has a brain, but it is only used to gauge the public response and adjust his actions accordingly. When it comes to stating his own beliefs, his brain fails. That is why he stutters. He has no beliefs and so can’t express them. He is really damaged for “a man without convictions is more dangerous than any tyrant.” My quote, if anyone wants to attribute it.
Aw darn I thought I had caught it fast enough!
DWP – done. I hope. LOL
I’m off to the virtual cot for virtual sleep.
Catch ya on the flip side of the moon.
And what Murpuma said!
Glad to hear FL and MI no longer have headaches
Now it pain elsewhere
Hillary is the voice for 51% of the world’s population.
Now they are trashing me and Murphy over at Gretawire. It just doesn’t end with these people. Again, I am posting as NoUnityForMe over there, but I may have to stop and go to bed soon. I am getting a headache.
Night Maryland, enjoy your virtual sleep!
Hillary has that voice when she is not gagged by the dnc
Well it sure going to be interesting to see what happens now!

[[ #1030 I believe he said he would seat delegates if law suit was dropped regarding 1/2 delegates.]]
Perhaps last week… but you do know that there were at least 3 lawsuites including Steven Gellers regarding Florida and he did not step in then… So I doubt his decision to write this open letter has anything to do with any lawsuit.

[[ Cosmeta,
Do you believe he would seat them if they weren’t already in his back pocket?]]
Interesting question. Actually, I think he is terribly worried that he doesn’t have them in his back pocket and is hoping that this POLITICAL MANEUVER will gain the respect and trust of the delegates via their constituents.
He is hoping that come the general election that all will be forgot and forgive. Man-o-man is he ever mistaken. Cause we will not forget.
Therefore, I think PUMA should push harder to remind the delegates and superdelegates (especially in FL an MI) that they should remember who dissed who; and retailiate by casting their vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton on the Convention floor.
several folks have explained about obama getting all the credit for seating mi and fl and about the risk of the gop grabbing up those states if dem voters feel disenfranchised. i get all that. i just don’t get how calling the delegate hotline impacts any of that. but, please, no one should feel compelled to answer my question because i know i’m really foggy-headed right now and it might all make sense to me in the morning (god i hope so).
karlaforhillary — hang out with the good guys for a while. being around negative people like that is truly bad for your health. I’m pretty sure that has been documented. Very grateful that you braved that swamp at all.
we are being noticed though folks — over 5,700 views of our movie in about 24 hours!
Keep blogging it!
Glad we’re done with all that audacity of democracy. After about a thousand posts my computer starts to get slow.
Murphy, back there you forgot to mention your catch phrase “Take it upstairs”.
You have three of them along with “silly pumas” and “be wonderful to each other”.
You’re so cute.
Murphy,
that number should be higher 9 times out of ten it tells you it is no longer available……..

one has to take ayn rand’s writings in a historical context. She was post Nietsche(sp?) and her characters often reflect the uberman.(superman) But they are ideals not relistic portrayals.
#13 No I did not know about 3 lawsuits. I only knew about Geller and I believe a few days agao someone here had said they called his office and he said we had to unite as a party. I do not know all the facts.
an email to all those delegates in FL is in order. I put nothing past Obama. The guy only knows dirty politics and he will do anythng to win. Hillary won the state fairly.
Murphy, Did you call the fire dept? Is your iron still on? Do you iron?
I still want to know what O is getting out of seating the F & M delegates. I’m asking again, what did he give them?
#21 Who knows. I put nothing past this man. IT just means more emails and letter writing and phone calls from us. Hillary is worth it so I guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow.
Thank you for the speech delivered by Hillary above. It is truly inspirational and I have not heard another that would equal it!
Murphy thanks for Silence is not an option. What a speech. Good nght all. Tomorrow wll be a busy day for the PUMA’s.
murphy – i second bmw60′s comment. i launched into my own little questions and issues without acknowledging that incredibly beautiful, powerful, inspiration speech. it feels so bittersweet to read such things, to think it was within our grasp and so many have thrown it away. but, i’m trying to keep the faith…. (wow, you stay up late!)
halligan #20 — Do I iron?
BWAHAHAAHAHAHAAA!!
Check out this post by garychapelhill at Riverdaughter’s place. He and Mawm took video of an AWESOME puma at the zoo in NC. Pumas are truly scary!
http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/03/obama-meet-your-biggest-nightmare/
Anna, she’s ironing!!!!!!!
yeah, and i’m hand sewing a little apron for myself!
Anna and Murphy,
Listenning to ed O’reilly on the radio blog tonight I noticed that after he mentioned that he had been a fireman many posters in the chat section went gaga. I have wondered for awhile now why Hillary didn’t use her NYFD endorsement. I actually called several states with the info and it was never used. Just curious. I can’t think of another group which would inspire awe from both men and women than the New York City Fire Department.
anna and bmw — isn’t it something? she really HAS been working all her life to make our world and our country better.
Yes, she’s a politician — I get that. But what other politician out there gives speeches like this? Maybe there are a few and I just dont know them, but none of the jokers running against her this year can light a candle to her.
Was hoping we’d get around to Womens’ issues….
Don’t know if this is true, or relates, and I’ve never put up a UTube vid but this one makes ya wonder…..
http://www.youtube. com/watch? v=E_vIBY1R8F4
why can’t we get the lists of voters and mail postcards??
can we do that?
murphy – well said. that’s what makes this so painful and enraging. if this country could toss aside a woman like this, just how many times better than your average man do we have to be? seems like an impossible situation at times, but we just have to keep moving forward.
all the parties do it..is it legal for us to do it?
btw..hello everyone
not illegal……but expensive
Murphy
If you have any info on what is taking place this weekend in Pittsburgh can you please forward? I would love to be a part even if it means setting up chairs.
Thanks.
I assume you have my email through registration.
mountain song – every time i click on the link i get an error message.
#32 mountainsong,
I can’t link to the video. Whats it say?
I don’t understand it….. can’t understand it…… don’t believe it…… don’t wanna either… what the heck is the DNC, MSM, and his supporters seeing in that… hypocrite, liar and double-speak “man”???
something funny to watch…I almost missed the funniest part!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D61_wYGHLhY&eurl=http://riggword.wordpress.com/2008/08/01/michelle-obama-gets-her-rant-back/
Murphy – Does your status as a pac allow you to mail things bulk mail? Someone mentioned this option earlier (though preparing bulk mailings is very labor intensive. I did it for years. It ain’t something you can just pull out of a hat.)
Says he’s gay and had a relationship with Wright and some other guy wjho was head of the choir at that church. The choir guy was found murdered, execution style. Scary video.
The $Fix must be in in MI $ Fl. Really makes me wonder about the outcome of the convention. I’d be real happy if Hillary’s name is placed in nomination, and even if they were both on the election ballot. He’s just not going to win~~~~unless he does it like George did.

Hello! I don’t think I have seen your name here before so if you are new WELCOME to PUMA! If not
Sorry I haven’t seen you before!
Well, I am going to put a Danny Wright CD on, go out on the balcony, feel the wind in my hair, do a little deep breathing… slide into a real nice mediation, open myself fully to universal truth…
…that Obama and the Democratic Party have totally over-estimated their ability to manipulate and control the American Voter and have totally under-estimated voter resolve to NEVER BE FOOLED AGAIN.
Goodnight PUMAS… Goodnight Clinton Family! Whatever happens at the convention, on November 4, we will be shouting your name all over America!

Good night everyone. You are all great people and I am so proud to be a PUMA!
Sunshinelvr – that video is hysterical! the music is perfect for the inane words spewing forth. thanks. i really needed that comic relief.
AH mountiansong same one as downstairs.
I posted quite a while back that I thought Dean and company had something on “O” that would make them the power behind the throne so to speak.
Because if you really spend time thinking about the actions of the dnc and “O”s sudden rise to power it makes no sense. None at all.
Unless the “bosses” will benefit somehow. Imho anyway.
Being me, I don’t think anyone’s preferences are anyone else’s biz but their own. but if there’s any truth to that video, well….I already have enuff reasons to not want him for POTUS but this cinches it.

Yes. And for that reason and THAT reason alone they should listen to the voice of the voters and cast their vote for the candidate who won their state.
Note: Time for me to close down… my machine is overheating. Nite now—
A letter to F & M delegates:
Dear Friends,
Best wishes to you as you travel to the mountain tops of the country (Denver). The O (Messiah) has given you his permission to attend. Don’t be amused by the altar of song and dance that he presents, but instead, give heed to the anointment of one more powerful who has brought joy to nations, and put loaves and fishes on our tables, Hillary Clinton. She is our angel, one who protects and serves with a heart of gold. Our prayers are with you.

Sorry about that.

many thanks

you all inspire me and give me much needed info that i pass on to everyone I can.
Thankyou all and good sweet dreams
When it comes to dealing with Obama, the best policy I know is: Never argue with an idiot or a moron. They just bring you down to their level…and then beat you with experience.
dances – you mean chaise lounge. oh, no! you mean, fainting couch.

kpfa in berkeley used to have a program called “unbound feet”, produced by the women’s department.
Just had to post this… cause I wanted to end my day on a “funny” — these were posted on a youtube for O and his energy solution of pumping up our tires…LOL>>>LOL>>>LOL
Just more proof that Obama is full of hot air. Most newer vehicles only require spark plugs to be changed every 100,000 miles. Most people don’t keep a car that long. Whats next-lower the antenna for less wind resistance? Maybe if we put more air in the rear wheels the car will tilt forward and roll under it’s own power-LOL. This man went to Harvard?

nothing to be sorry for ..always nice to be welcomed!
Everyone… Please go and watch Bill Clinton’s interview. He and Chelsea are in Africa.
It is in 2 parts and unfortunately on ABC.
You can tell how deeply hurt he is that Obama and the DP tried to destroy he and Hillary.
He also says that he will have a lot to say about the primary after January 5, 2009 but for now it is best that he remain silent.
He also says “he is not a racist” — as if this man, who has been devoted to building hospitals and providing medical care for AIDS victims in Africa through his foundation, has to defend himself!
Please, go watch… and maybe we should send him our support again… he deserves so much respect! (IMO)
(Be sure to watch both segments)

mountainsong: we only saw one eagle but I’ve seen lots before. But wow, to say the scenery was exceptional would be an understatement..
henry — I’ve forwarded your email to someone in the know — he should get back to you right away. Please email me at the usual place if you dont hear back by tomorrow.
real good night now!

In the immortal words of Madonna. “Time goes by, so slowly”. However the convention in Denver is very rapidly approaching. I can’t believe it’s August already! (And that I’ll be 21 this Saturday but that’s a different story. :X ) We’ve got alot of momentum going into the Convention I just pray it’s enough to open the DNC’s eyes to what they are doing here.
speaking of eagles — “walking eagle” is one of the top keyword search terms that people have typed into Google to find our site.
I guess dances’ graphic was a hit!
Though I feel pretty bad about dwp defacing the beautiful eagle.
Logging out, NOW. Goodnight, again!
Murphy
Hopefully I contributed to the views of the trailer. I spent about an hour last night posting it as a comment on every one of my friends on myspace.
Well, everyone, I’m going to go inflate my tires and get another tune-up. Gotta do my part to help solve the energy crisis. LOL
Mountain and Hillstheone,
Skagit Valley – lovely area, tulip festival out on the flats, little towns, diary cows, mountains towering over the straits. Love the towns like O’Connor and Concrete. Nothing like the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

1) Today’s column by Washington Post Op-Ed columnist George Will on Obama:

Goodman might be open to supporting our cause, Goodman’s email address is: ellengoodman@globe.com
yes all and I hate to run but I have to get some sleep ..good night to all who are leaving sleep tigh..and good night to those staying..cya tomorrow!
Mountain
You have the Anacortes Oil Refinery nearby. Are they doing anything to solve the energy crisis or are they polluting the straits with oil?
Okay, I’ll do the pondering.
If I were someone with a 22 million dollar debt to pay off I certainly wouldn’t help anyone I couldn’t stand get a presidential nomination (especially when it should have been mine) with anymore of my own money, thus, furthering the hole I’m in. That’s just plain STUPID.
Hillary is not a stupid lady. Therefore, Obama must be paying her way for the favors of endorsement.
Wow, I decided to stop by for a moment after a busy day with the family. I see you’ve been bussssyyy! Wow, that video is going to be something. I can’t wait to see the finished product. Murphy says something about followers of Jesus. I hope she’s not comparing Christians to the Obama cult. I’m a Christian and will have to strongly disagree with that, but I realize that statement is just a snippet and one can’t really tell what she is saying without seeing the whole thing.
Has anyone seen the PUMA shirts Larry Sinclair is selling on his site?
Just curious how everyone feels about it.
#81 hillstheone ~~~If you ever get up this way again, if you haven’t already, I heartily recommend driving over the passes on Hwy 20. It’s very reminiscent of the Swiss Alps. On the east side there is a quaitn little western town named Winthrop with the old-fashioned boardwalk sidewalks and wooden faux storefronts.
halligan: you’re cracking me up! “Concrete”! Word on the raft trip is that little town was named after an old concrete facility. Marblemount probably a similar story.
Lots of wildflowers in bloom still!
While on the raft, my daughter said something funny during one of the calmer spells. She asked “does it snow here?” I burst out laughing and said, “Does it SNOW here? (N Cascades) “They SPECIALIZE in making snow here, I’ll bet when it snows here it looks just like a Christmas card!”
The river guide really laughed and said it is indeed just as beautiful there in the winter…

I don’t see Hillary having her way paid…..She and Bill made their own reservations in Denver and not in the same complex as O and his buddies. It was in the Denver Post two weeks ago.
redraz — great! that is really wonderful.
There are SO many things we can do to get our message out that dont cost any money at all — blogging, emailing, putting up flyers (well that costs a little bit for paper and ink and stuff, but you know what I mean)
btw, our new flyers from dances and madlogic and mp are up in the ACTION CENTER. A really amazing brochure/flyer from SunnyPA will be up tomorrow.
here’s the link:

Nite-nite, sunshinelvr…
dances – we can talk more via g-mails. i think we switched locations, maybe around a similar time. wierd.
anyone heard about how Bill is not being invited to speak at the convention?
Just something I heard at our Awesome Boston Puma PAC Party today — not sure if it’s true.
I’ll have to check the answer tomorrow as I must sleep now. . .

I don’t like going to his site, so I just took a quick peek when I heard about it.
I remember seeing a PUMA or some kind of cat and it said PUMA and had Party Unity My Ass. That’s about all I remember.
Anna7000 – enjoy your beauty treatment!
And I’m very glad you will revisit those links as I think it’s always a good idea to reach out to like-minded people for their help & influence.
Sweet dreams…
we are all so funny, threatening to go to bed and then lingering around a bit longer. the blog is so lovely when it flows with such good vibes. and it is truly amazing and so meaningful to feel connected to like-minded folks all across the country (the world). it helps so much.
sweet dreams everyone.

I service chain stores and this coming week I do WalMarts. I’m going to try to put some throughout the towel sections, etc. It’s about the best I can do. I’m usually in electronics and can’t get away with it.
Murphy: I hope Bill will be invited to speak at Convention, however, on the flip side of the coin, might be a good thing?
If Hillary makes a speech asking for delegates to rethink her nomination (“I’m more experienced, winning swing states, more electable, I can seal the deal whereas Obama has shown he cannot”), it may be best to have the spotlight on her and her alone…
Murphy, are you posting in your sleep or something?
GOODNIGHT ALREADY!
Hillstheone and Mountain
Yep, Concrete. True, it was named after the factory. Mountain is right, the N. Cascade’s Highway is absolutely beautiful. The only other place that is comparable or better is the trip through Rocky Mtn. National Park in Colorado. The Cascades have “greener” trees and landscape which really sets it apart from other places. Winthrop is the neatest area with a resort called Sun Mtn. Beautiful place to stay. We truly live in God’s country out here.
TOPIC: Last week’s prowls
Q – anybody hear back from their prowls?
Today I got an autoreply email from one of my prowls from: Randy_Bombase/CORPHQ/NYTIMES@globe.com but at least that means people are getting our messages!
I also heard back from 2 superdelegates (Texas) (nothing interesting), and that reporter I emailed at San Francisco Chronicle. She’s actually a lawyer but I gave her contact info to a PUMA in the SF Bay Area maybe can reach out to her…
Murphy,
I heard something in passing this AM on CNN that Bill was expected to be speaking in support of O in the next few days. But there was no reference to the convention. He will be there as the Denver Post stated that Hillary and Bill were both registered at the Brown for the duration of the convention.
#99 hillstheone~~Having lived in both places I can tell you. Concrete is indeed named after the concrete manufactured from the talc mines in the area in the early 1900′s. And Marblemount is named after the incredible Soapstone deposits in the surounding mountains, especially the big one as you go into town and look up. Soapstone is also where talc comes from and has been used in some exquisite sculptures done by local native americans.
maxgrader: PUMAS have a name for it, (I forget who coined it, maybe it was snowtiger?), it’s called
“sleeptyping” !
>>>>>>Murphy>>>>>>>
Bill will probably introduce her when she makes her acceptance speach……….(just to give you something nice to dream about……now go to bed!!

I got one real reply, don’t remember her name, but she was very nice. She just said she couldn’t discuss it, but thanked me for giving my opinion and suggestions.
The rest was automated responses.

Where are you from?
mountainsong: I like the color of the water (Skagit River), that pretty green-blue. Reminds me of another beautiful river in N. California called the Smith River. The color of the water was teal / turquoise, mainly owing to the presence of the rock underneath, called serpintine…probably a few real pumas still stalk those rivers!
Gypsy,
Mountain’s from the great state of Washington. So am I.
redraz9: I find it fascinating (having worked with media the last 20+ years) how “beneath the radar” this whole movement has been the last 8 weeks.
Someone should do a movie on that alone, and I for one would happily offer my perspective. I know for sure someone could do an entire thesis on how poorly the msm has performed in the primaries thus far!!
Goodnight everyone.
I’m glad I can finally post comments again. It has been virtually impossible for the last week or so.
Hillstheone,
Last time I was by the Smith River, there was so little water in it. How’s it doing with all this drought and fire?
nite-nite, redraz9…
halligan: I dunno, I haven’t been to the Smith in several years now.
I am guessing we have at least one PUMA in N. Calif.??!
Prime Hillary Country (Del Norte County), I am guessing…

Sounds good to me

I was wrong about the shirt LS is selling. It has a rather strange looking donkey on it…..lol
Night redraz9
hillstheone – There are others in N. California. I’ve been blogging with them. I’m closer to Portland, Oregon than I am Seattle or farther north. There are hardly any Oregon PUMAs, but the one that I do have contact with is working her head off on Oregon Superdelegates and delegates. It’s lonely out here in the PNW. Doesn’t seem to be much PUMA activity or anti-O activity as much as our wester moderator is trying. She’s a wonderful person as well (Webfoot). That’s why I enjoy the blog so much. Keeps me hopeful that the country isn’t falling apart.
Was LS on the NQ tonight? I tried to read all the posts, but got lost somewhere. Who else was on it?
maxgrader: how about keyboardsnoring?!! ;D
Gypsy
Are you in California? Haven’t been to Alaska but will be going up the inland passage on a ferry next year. Want to spend time in Sitka.
Hillstheone and Max
I’ve actually tried keyboardsnoring. It’s not very comfortable.
halligan: Hey well it’s good to know there are a few of us Oregonians. alohapuma is also from OR.
p.s. I stopped in Portland on the way home today. I love Powell’s Books & just had to make a pit stop there! ;D
I like KINK-FM radio too & it’s a Ptld station..
Yeah, hillstheone. I think you’re on to something there. Let your fingers do the snoring on the puma page site.
Western PUMAs,
Do you ever feel that the news is over for the day by the time we blog? Actually, we can start it for the next day so what’s going on for Monday, August 4th.
#139 halligan
I’m curious. Were there imprints of the keys?
(Hope that wasn’t offending in any way!
)
138 halligan
I had the great opportunity to live there for 3 years. I never regretted one day of it. I wanted to stay…Lucky you that you get to go up by ferry!! Went to Homer almost every other weekend. Lived in Eagle River outside of Anchorage. Loved it!! Take your camcorder and digital camera and get some extra sd cards, because it is so beautiful.
Remember tthe Yellow pages slogan? “Let your fingers do the walking in the yellow pages”. That’s where I got my line.
TOPIC: week in review
OK so what were the highlights last week, fellow Prowlers?! Did we hear any new news from Tom Abrhaham at the abc website, anything new from Will Bower, did we get Murphy on FOX News or anywhere else media-wise (very important, in my book!), did any superdelegates come out for Hillary, any new anncmts on Denver, did we kick any bots off the site, yada yada yada…hmm…??!
I did log on end of the week & did the prowl on Hillary & on msm…
Hillstheone
Yeah, an Oregonian. I should have figured out Aloha, too (near Beaverton). Thought she was in Hawaii. I love Powells. Will be going there this week to sell some of our hundreds of books in the basement. Cleaning out and Powells will always take some, I’m sure. What’s your view on Oregon and the status of the election (McCain and O)?
Thanks, Gypsy. I’ll remember to do so.
Inu, Yep, I was so tired at the keyboard and zonk, right on the keys. At least, I didn’t drool
Hillstheone
I’m not much help on the “week in review.” I was out of town for three weeks (Idaho, Utah and Colorado). Didn’t have internet access on a daily basis so am a little behind on the news except for the info from the Denver Post. Have to get back in the swing of PUMA actions tomorrow, whatever they may be.
Good nite all…I missed everything tonite and I had to read posts forever. I’m old and need to rejuvenate my muscles. Am glad so many people were happier today and all seemed so motivated – as usual. Enjoy.
Halligan:
Oregon & McCain vs. Obama?
My un-scientific take on it is…
Goodnight, Gypsy! Not old, just tired. Big difference.
Hillstheone:
What’s your take?
is…
is…
zzz … Everyone is BORED w/this election! Voters (even Oregonians who voted for O) have now realized they have 2 very un-exciting choices. A candidate w/experience who doesn’t reflect their views, or a candidate with no experience and they don’t really know anything about him & aren’t sure they can trust him.
What do you think??
Hillary is a tough act to follow; her experience, judgement makes her a great leader. Good judgement goes along with experience. A person cannot claim they have a good judgement when they don’t know what is failure. Only thru failures or missteps, a person gains good judgement (learn from your mistakes). Hillary’s innate trait, thinking of others makes her shine and MOST admired woman. To be admired, a person must have a good character, a character that endears, leaves an indellible mark in the mind of the person or persons she touch directly or indirectly. Hillary is very much admired overseas, she gave voice to the women, empowered them. She has TESTICULAR FORTITUDE, one tough lady. She was not afraid to give her speech in China (biggest human rights abuser) about Human Rights. The state department advised Hillary not to say anything about Human Rights. One thing with Hillary, when she’s right, she’ll stand up and forge ahead even if she have to do it alone.
The DNC have made a GRAVE MISTAKE that will be talk about for many years to come; it will be discuss by academias, it will also expose how undemocratic is the democratic party, corruption WITHIN the party. What happen here is also a blessing in disguise, it opens up the EYES of EVERY American who love this country to be VIGILANT in guarding our democracy. This is TOTALLY unprecedented; Dean, Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, Kerry, Brazille and others in the DNC never thought the people will organize and go against them TOE TO TOE. We were expected to toe the party line. They’ve missed something that supersedes party line – LOVE OF COUNTRY.
halligan: here’s another unscientific finding.
Early in the primaries I was getting side-swiped a lot in traffic. I think it was because of my Hillary Clinton 2008 bumper sticker mainly, cause I doubt anyone cared about my other 2 (“Honor the Dead, Heal the Wounded, End the War” and “Stewart / Colbert 2008″).
But I drove all across WA & OR the last 2 days on the freeways & biways & I think more and more cars were checking out my bumper stickers & thinking about them instead of getting angry.
Very unscientific, but sometimes these “little” things can be pretty revealing…
Asian4Hillary: right-on, I’ll drink to that.
Need to go refill my wine glass, come to think of it…!
p.s. Asian4Hillary: I hope you’re coming to Denver.
Hillstheone
I have a feeling that you’re right on with “bored”. People are out having fun in the summer and of course, the Olympics are beginning this week. Campaigning is going to take a big back seat this month. Then comes the convention, just as school is starting. I think we’ll see renewed interested in September and more signs will go up, especially after the Republican convention. Washington State primary is August 19th. Our ballots come in the mail this week. Presidential candidates are not on this ballot, just state and local. I’m not predicting a huge turnout. It’s a top two primary. One fact remains consistent – people are unhappy with Bush and the backlash will definitely help any Democrat or independent candidate.
halligan: are you still here, what’s your take?
p.s. One thing’s for sure about Oregon, we can be extremely proud our Governor loves our Hillary!
halligan: Yeah I’d agree w/that.
Alth, be sure & read the George Wills column I posted. I think he’s a Repub, but I think he nailed it on the fact that the Democratic Party is enjoying a LOT of popularity in the lesser races, and he pops the question, ‘so why isn’t Obama doing better?!!” Ha, ha!!
I sent him an email & said “check out PUMA”… I hope others will do the same.
Hilltheone
You may be correct on the bumper sticker theory. I didn’t notice many bumper stickers on cars in my days on I-84 and I-80 going through five states, not until I got back to the Gorge and Oregon. Unbelievably, I still see Kerry-Edwards stickers. Those things must have good glue.
It’s too late for “uniting” the party this year. The Democratic process has been anything but democratic. If I was a voter in Florida or Michigan, I would never vote for BO.
These people really do think we are stupid:
Florida Democratic Party Chairwoman Karen Thurman said, “Today is a proud day for all of us who fought so hard to ensure Floridians votes are fully counted.”
She said Obama’s request proves “his commitment to uniting the party and ending the uncertainty surrounding the process.”
Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., and Democratic National Committee member Debbie Dingell issued a statement saying: “Senator Obama’s action today will help unify the Democratic Party.”
TOPIC: MEDIA
Interesting CNN even did an interview on the topic of sexism, but actually I find the (very sad) posts below this link even more interesting:
youtube – Gloria Steinem CNN Hilary Clinton Sexism
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaaMtIBUJ2s
Glenn Beck is a jerk!
http://mediamatters.org/items/200712180007
On the December 17 edition of his CNN Headline News show, host Glenn Beck interviewed Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) senior fellow Chris Horner, who referred to senators “who see a president in the mirror when they shave in the morning.”
Beck responded by inquiring about Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY), asking: “Does that include Hillary? Does she shave? … Does that include Hillary? Does she — I mean, she — she shaves her legs. I’m just saying.” After Horner said, “Now who’s being naïve?” Beck — while jutting out his lower jaw and miming shaving his face — said: “I can see her in there. ‘Gimme a pack of Kool cigarettes, will ya?’ ”
I guess Beck is really threatened! What a dork.
halligan: I still see Kerry stickers, too!!
p.s. those cars are good candidates for our PUMA flyers, LOL…
Hillstheone
George Wills is Republican. I read the article. He said similar things in the Idaho Stateman last week. Wills is a really smart guy and a true gentlemen even if one has different political views. If my memory serves me correctly, he does a lot in the area of helping children with disabilities. Good for you – sending him the PUMA info.
Good idea for fliers. I’ll keep that in mind as I’m walking around town this week.

Unify the party, hummmmmmmm! Who is she kidding?

Love of country. Yes – they did miss it and still are. They are blinded by power, greed, and their own face in the mirror.
Night time PUMAs
Check out http://www.timesonline.co.uk Interesting articles about Obama and being too skinny. Also talks about McCain and Republicans getting to O.
Night all, Sweet Dreams and talk to you tomorrow.
When his followers were booing Hillary in Oregon, BO insincerely said “It’s time to be nice to the Clinton supporters”. Now he finds it beneficial to be “nice” to the Floridians and the folks from Michigan.
I say lets show him that we are “Not Ready to Make Nice”.
Night all! Sorry I was so quiet. Was trying to pack.
I’ll see you all when I get back! Bye everyone!
TOPIC: moveon.org / FOX news clip
Tonight I was reminded how much I grew to dislike moveon.org after they came out in force for Obama.
I discontinued my membership but it still sickens me how they betrayed their base support for a candidate so poorly qualified.

No class! I would never go heckle at an Obama rally.

Ode to the Bots
Here’s a little airplane song adapted from “Barney & Friends” for those who like drinking koolaid while looking at the scenery:
“Oh, we are flying in an airplane,
Looking out the window,
Watching the clouds go by.
Flying in an airplane,
Looking out the window,
Up so very high.
Looking out the window,
We can see the wings.
Down below we see other things.
Like little tiny buildings
And cars so small,
It makes me feel
Like I’m really tall.
Pretending I’m a President is a lot of fun,
I think when I grow up
I might like to be one.
I have a presidential seal
And an airplane meal..
Pretending I’m a President is a lot of fun,
I think when I grow up
I might like to be one.
Trouble is, I ‘aint growed up yet,
I’m just an imaginary president,
in my own mind, my own mind.
Chorus:
“We love our imaginary president,
So please tell the stewardess
Please, oh please, pass the Koooolaid!!”
And on that “note,” it is time for beddy-bie!

How to talk to Obama?
Tell him (my family saying)–”keep quiet and people will think that you’re smart”.
My Puma Prayer,
Dear Lord, I thank You for this day, I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning.
I’m blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you.
I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me and my Puma family safe from all danger and harm. Help us to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let us make the best of each and every day to clear our minds so that we can better hear from You.
Please broaden our minds that we can accept all things. Let us not whine and whimper over things we have no control over.
And give us the best response when we are pushed beyond our limits.
I know that when we can’t pray,
You listen to our hearts. Continue to use us to do Your will. Continue to bless us that we may be a blessing to others. Keep us strong that we may help the weak… Keep us uplifted that we may have words of encouragement for others.
I pray for those that are lost and can’t find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don’t know You intimately. I pray for those that don’t believe.
But I thank You that I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes; that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.
I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God.
Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.
I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it in Jesus’ name.
Amen!
Good morning my puma family. I just want you all to know I Love You. When you read this i will be sleeping. You all give me something very special and that is your freindship and that takes away my loneliness and now i have a family to look forward to be with each and every day.

WOW! If Hillary will say something like that, then it will be the end of the Democratic party for her. I can GUARANTEE you that she WILL NOT say even anything close to that.
She will probably talk about the historic nature of this election. She will HAVE to praise Obama, and how wonderful and special election was this year. She will talk about beating McCain in November and WILL probably talk about HOW to beat McCain in November–plan. If the first ballot will be on Monday and she will speak on Tuesday (according to an article yesterday nothing has been finalized yet, and DNC is planning a surprise WHEN Hillary will speak), then Hillary will also thank her delegates, and supporters.
She will definitely talk about a lot more than what I just listed, but all or some of these points will be mentioned.

Arrow **Announcement**Delegate petition to put Hillary into nomination. URGENT Action Request.
Action to be taken: NONE
I have just been in contact with several people who are working on this project with me. Any action on behalf of the petition should be haulted at once, unless you have been given a task by a person in charge of the ORIGINAL PROJECT.
We have procedures we have to follow to get this package together in time. As it is, I have wasted four days doing damage control and so have others.
From now on, PLEASE:
* NO ONE, except for people who have been assigned a task, should be working on this.
* NO ONE, except for other national delegates, should be contacting national delegates regarding the petition.
* NO ONE should be accusing, threatening, asking, or contacting by phone, mail, or email any national delegate, whether that delegate is a Hillary supporter or Obama supporter.
* If you are friends of a national delegate, or, have information for a national delegte:
o mention petition only in casual conversation
o do not give any details as the details have not been released for your knowledge and you would not be giving full disclosure
o give the delegate the information to contact someone who has the petition to sign. They can request the petition at 300delegates@yahoo.com
o then, please pm me with the delegates info so we can follow up to make sure the delegate did contact our group.
.
* If you see info on another site that is discussing how this is to be done and for people to contact delegates, please pm me immediately the url where you saw it.
Your cooperation in this matter will result in the project being fully completed on time. It will also prevent national delegates being upset because they are being bothered by people they do not know, should not have to report to, and/or have no authority to ask or tell them what to do.
This is very important to follow these rules to avoid confusion and additional work by the ones in charge as well as the national delegates. It also will guarantee that the work we need to do is completed.
If I have additional information that is needed or can be posted, I will do so.
If I am not online and you have questions, you can also pm Gina, as I am sending her copies of everything that goes out at this point. I spoke with her on the phone earlier and she is aware of the newest developments.
#191 turndownobama
WOW! We have to email this to Murphy and Will Bower. Do you think we should call the campaign office and ask if they have somebody named Gina? Was it in your email?
On the lighter note before I go to bed ( I am in CA) check out this cartoon.

turndownobama i would send it to Murphy
#194 sandipuma
I just posted it on Normita’s blog–Hillary Villagers. Clintondems.com also put it up. I am getting really worried. We should have somebody call the campaign office and find out what’s really going on. I will try to email it to Will Bower, but I haven’t received anything from him for a few days. I’ll send it through the facebook in the morning.
Good night
Good Morning PUMA’s
Hope everyone had a good weekend. I sure can feel the positive energy here
My wife and I went to several shopping malls yesterday and posted a lot of fliers around the malls. Hopefully they stay up for awhile.
It seems Obama’s flip-flopping on FL and MI is getting a lot of negative traction on the various blogs I visited this morning. This is another sign to his supporters of how much Obama flip-flops when it will benefit him.
#191 turndownobama – Re: Petition Alert or Hysteria
I dont get it, if it’s all so vital and important, why haven’t the people at hillaryclintonforum visited other sites/blogs they have up in their banner to spread the word. Why wait for people to visit them.
And as for not sending any delegates anything, do we freeze our work til the convention for fear of upsetting a delegate and having them refuse to sign?
My take on it is those we would offend will not be those who will be signing anyway.
And who is this lyn and how is it she has made herself personally responsible for the petition. I don’t recall the delegate Murphy interviewed mentioning a Hillary supporter carrying the petition.
Are we sure this is not some ploy to push an invidual ego into stardom. Unless somene can prove to me our work here will hinder the delegate signature’s I see no logical reason for us to stop what we are doing.
Trish
if we are being told to hold our tongues/be quiet/ shut up it only means that someone is hearing. To quote Bono ” and you can scream so scream outloud and don’t let the bastards bring you down”
I heart hillary, but this has become bigger than her. Everythin I believed in about the democratic process now sits under a bus. And I for one am not happy.
That Henry, is why I am so angry. And that is why my activity will not decrease after the election.
#199 henry
I agree, this is about more than Hillary, we all understand why she can’t really step on too many toes but we can
And while its nice there are naive people in the world who think being mute will move your agenda faster, well ok good for them, and a nice gentle pat on the head for each of those innocent lambs.
I prefer going in with a bulldozer and making a hell of an entrance and a whole lot of noise as I do. Gotta love the PUMA Pac for doing that!
Delegate petition – it my understanding the petition involves Hillary’s “pledged” delegates not the super delegates that we are all trying to write to. Don’t get confused between “pledged” and “super delegates”, I hope that makes sense.
Trish

thought I got fired last week from my job for having two bloody marys before going to work found out yesterday that before I even got there my paycheck was in HR. LOL. They did me a favor but I know the only conflict I had was about CNN not being on if I was in the room. I am actually thrilled that my politics got under thier skin!!!!

I was robbed on a thursday night so I got drunk. stupid I know. they also would have to prove I was intoxicated/hung over. I don’t care that much. Serving suits was never a goal in my life. The only real drawback is I was planning to go to Denver but without an income can’t swing it. But it gives me lots of time time to make a lot of noise. i am a PUMA I always land on my feet.
Okay
I have bored me. Someone post something substantive with regards to the DNC.
Please!!!!!!!!!!
I just heard that Obama is asking that the dnc allow Florida and Michigan deletes have full votes and that all the votes will count. Doesn’t that give Hillary almost equal or more delegates than Obama?

Wow that video gave me chills, and its funny how my mind blocked out Mo after a minute or two of her ranting. She can’t voice an opinion without yelling it and appearing as if she’s spitting hate filled words at you.
At the end she says her husband is the only one in this race who can save america ( not exact words). They really do live in a land of delusion.
I love the Puma’s in the video.
I believe in my heart McCain and Cindy are good people, Cindy doesn’t have a need to be the centre of attention and be more visible and outspoken than the presumptive nominee. Uunlike Mo, who hasn’t realized yet that America is not voting her into office, so she can now tone down her election speeches and perhaps try to help America through charitable work. Come to think of it, is Mo involved with any charities?
And please do not think for a moment that because she’s female she must do charity work. I don’t think that way, but when you’re the spouse of someone running for Pres, you can help charities increase their pledges by associating your name to them. As Cindy does. And as both Bill and Hillary do.

I know Trish. The video made me tear up. Really powerful and one of the best I’ve seen. I sent it to McCain campaign…needs to be aired in Virginia. Tons of military here, but also lots of elitist for HObo. Need to counteract their delusional state as VA is a swing state. Send it around.
And ain’t we (PUMAS) inspiring in our pics on the video?? YEAH PUMA
What video? Does someone have a link?
What also bothers me is how this video shows clearly how we see the world around us through the cloak that we carry. I am not broken, I do know my neighbors, I do not feel the America is hateful and racist, I do think we already try to shoulder our neighbors burdens when they are in need. MO doesn’t see this, becuase she doen’s participate in this. Her cloak is through the veil of perceived racism, as her thesis displays, and this is how they will govern the US, through that delusional cloak.

I posted a response to the Bill is racist article:
Bill is not a racist! I challenge any of you to research the black superdelegates and tell me who put each of them in their politically appointed positions. Who moved them through the system to where they are today. I assure you it was Bill Clinton.
Who will remove them from their positions to fill those politically appointed positions with friends, business partners, crimelords, slum landlords, and worst of all Mo. It will be your Obama. Bo is indeed racist, when things so foul he pulls out the “i’m a poor black boy from the ghetto who didn’t have a Pa, and all these white folk scared my Gramma.”
Get over it everyone, and shout in the right direction before accusing Bill of racism!
I am PUMA, here me roar!

Let Michelle speak. She is an attorney a graduate from an Ivy League institution, but every time she opens her mouth I get a tingle down my leg as I KNOW SHE IS A JACKASS WHO HAS BOUGHT INTO THE MYTH OF HER HUSBAND!!!!! Speak michelle speak. You provide so much ammo.
oh damn spelled hear the wrong way, oh well it will just give them something to dwell on rather than the facts

Updated Information:
Some of you will recall that on or around July 17th I had gotten in a response from a superdelegate telling me that Hillary would be embarrased to have her name placed into nomination.
Well….
After seeing the recent fundraiser and video I wrote to this super again with the following words:
Hi,

Personally, I don’t think it necessarily necessary to get to all the supers… but only because many of them know one another or are in contact with one another. So the best I can hope for is that they will do just what we are doing… spreading the word, by word of mouth… one person at a time. Hopefully, with good positive results.
I personnally would like to know what precautions are being taken against voter fraud in the GE. The disgrace that was the primary season has taught me that the DNC will stop at nothing to annoint the one. What can I/we do to insure a fair process?
henry~ sign up to be an election official and let it be known PUMAs are signing up to do just that to ensure against voter fraud. Take a video phone with you too! That’s what I have done.
3 people this week in VA are in jail for just that,,,false registering of voters.

[[ I just heard that Obama is asking that the dnc allow Florida and Michigan deletes have full votes and that all the votes will count. Doesn’t that give Hillary almost equal or more delegates than Obama?]]
FLORIDA PRIMARY
Hillary won Florida by a vote of 50% to his 33%
Hillary: 50%
Obama: 33%
Edwards: 14%
Obama: If we add Edwards to his BHO ends up with 47% to Hillary’s 50% popular vote and still she wins.
Note: As of January 29, 2008 with 99% precints reporting.
______________
MICHIGAN PRIMARY
Hillary 55%
Uncommitted: 40%
Kucinich: 4%
Gravel: 0%
Obama: 0%
Note: As of January 29, 2008 with 100% precints reporting.
_______________
Note: I can’t remember the exact figures but I think Florida had 215 delegates and Michigan 115. Also, the information above based upon CNN’s Political Ticker.
I knew the election had to be crooked, who in there right mind would vote for him over Hillary !
#239 cosmeta
i came across at least 2 delegates who were for Edwards that switched to Hillary after he suspended. The press makes it seems all of Edwards super’s went to Bo.
Is Obama so confident that he thinks that they will not call for the vote on the floor? If they called for a vote and counted Florida and Michigan then Obama would lose. Does he think that by seating all the delegates we will forgive and come back into the fold? I am not sure just what he thinks he is doing? But if manipulated correctly it might be the bee that stings him in the butt.
Cosmeta #239.
So Obama thinks he is going to get edwards delegates?
I would not doubt that he would try. The dnc and Obama are blatantly corrupted.
I finally watched the Audacity video. I can’t wait til it’s completed. The video is excellent and will really show the lies, the fraud and the fear that Bo’s campaign is inflicting on the voters.
Everyone in the video presents themselves as exceptionally knowledgeable and factual, very unbiased. The man who teared up as he spoke of the elderly (I think it was the elderly, his voice broke and he was hard to follow (which shows his true sadness and dismay)) has my respect for caring so much.
Well done Murphy, Lori, Brad and everyone involved.

I guess this is “today” what will he shift his position on tomorrow…?
Ooooh that was good, thanks for the laughs Oblahma!
Good Morning all. Hi Trish and rest of the group.
Yep, Obama’s camp says he’s always been for the off-shore drilling and McCain was not. Why did he tell us to inflate our tires?? I’m confused. I tried to read his darn voting history, but it’s all about his comments, etc…more about BO
It was on FOX this a.m. Camp is getting prepared for attack ads. So this is another diversion. It’s to take people’s minds off the Convention, but in the meantime there will not be anything done. Silly boy!!
mimi & Gypsy,
That’s not the best article, we wrote this story yesterday afternoon, The original article was published in the IHT – New York Times Global Edition
Breaking! New York Times Rewrites History: ‘McCain Joins Obama On Offshore Drilling’
http://politicallydrunk.blogspot.com/2008/08/breaking-new-york-times-rewrites.html
I received an e-mail from Emily’s List this AM . . . looking for money of course. This was my reply.
You do understand that your position of supporting Obama is not exactly endearing you to those of us who are ardent Hillary supporters, don’t you? We consider your acceptance of the flip-flopping ego maniac to be treason. Your claim to support women candidates is seen to be false, because the moment a well-funded male claims the throne you retreat into your houses like well-bred little housewives. There are 2 million of us in the various groups that make up the “Just Say No Deal” coalition and the only unifying factor we all have is that we will NOT vote for Obama in November. SOme of us might be willing to vote for him IF and only IF Hillarty is his choice for VP. To put another woman on the ticket would be viewed as an insult and would reinforce our beliefs that Obama is afraid of strong-willed assertive females: he prefers the wishy, washy, a**-kissing Pelosi type.
Of course some of us won’t vote for him under any condition.; some will stay home, some will vote for McCain, and some will support McKinney or Nader. If you were truely the organization you claim to be you would have endorsed McKinney once Hillary suspended her campaign. Since you failed to do that, I must consider you to be no more than another extension of the old-boy-network masquerading as a women’s group.
#249 1gypsy4mc
It’s not you that’s confused. And what’s inflated is BO’s ego. How can anyone possibly keep track of the flip flops and now BO is certainly confused as he has too much to rhetoric to ever know what he is saying.
Beside’s I would never beleive a word or statement he makes anymore about any policy or platform that is on the American’s list of issues – energy, economy, etc. He has a private perosnal agenda that he is not sharing.
#249 1gypsy4mc
Good Morning
I just watched SimoFish’s video and it was great. Hillary can really drive her points home without bashing, shouting, name calling or resorting to race issues. She’s brilliant! And I’m sure she knows she can win it on the floor, she’s no fool. She just understands slow and steady wins the race.

I think everything that was in HILLARY´s web is right now in the hands of the thugs
I would not pay any attention, we should do what have to be done
I think that is the chicago underground working to mislead everyone that is not in communuion @ pretentious
It just makes me sick.
And people have always known the Clintons did much for Africans and their healthcare. I can imagine it has been hard on them both listening to all the messages and innuendos coming fromt pretender’s camp.
The pretender also makes it sound like it is “his” healthcare plan instead of Hillary’s.
REMEMBER OBAMA put his foot in his mouth when he said on national TV that the Clintons would be an asset for him.
CHET EDWARDS is a loser we need to let all of the Hillary supporters from Texas to know not to re-elect him.
Good Morning Pumas,
I love how the media just willingly plays into Obama’s hand when he states he wants all of FL and MI, delegates seated. This is nothing but a ploy, that will never occur, in order for Obama to attempt to hold onto Michigan in the GE. I love how the media is a willing accomplice to this buffoon.

Democratic National Party Vision (taken from website);
The Democratic Vision
The Democratic Party is committed to keeping our nation safe and expanding opportunity for every American. That commitment is reflected in an agenda that emphasizes the security of our nation, strong economic growth, affordable health care for all Americans, retirement security, honest government, and civil rights.
(HONEST GOVERNMENT)………..Who are they trying to kid! This makes me sick!
270 TrishfromCanada
Some of the profiles I sent to you is where there is alot of information. The ones that are public records.
It gets better…….Honest Government & Open Government (OMG, this is sick thinking)
We will end the Republican culture of corruption and restore a government as good as the people it serves, starting with real ethics reform.
The Democratic Party is committed to real ethics reform and meaningful campaign finance reform that protects our rights and ensures that elected officials act ethically — not just within the law, but within the spirit of the law. Democrats offer an aggressive reform package to reverse Republican excesses and restore the public trust.
We are committed to immediate change to lead our country in a new direction, to put an end to Republican business as usual, and to make certain our nation’s leaders serve the people’s interests, not special interests. For us, this commitment spans our lifetime, as we were elected to represent the people, not the powerful.
Our goal is to restore accountability, honesty and openness at all levels of government. To do so, we will create and enforce rules that demand the highest ethics from every public servant, sever unethical ties between lawmakers and lobbyists, and establish clear standards that prevent the trading of official business for gifts.
Holy Crap, McCain is ahead of Obama in today’s Rasmussen.

Regarding Obama’s “request” NOW to seat delegates with full vote: What a phony, sleaze ball hypocrite. The slime keeps getting thicker and thicker. The DNC response back to this sleaze’s request…get this..”As always we wish to assure a fair process…..”
As Always, Obama, his crew and the DNC are a bunch ol lieing, arrogant, thieves. Opposition against Obama has hardened and will continue.
Monday, August 04, 2008
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows the race for the White House is tied with Barack Obama and John McCain each attracting 44% of the vote. However, when “leaners” are included, it’s McCain 47% and Obama 46%.

Dean: Democrats Are Keeping Their Promise To Clean Up Government
September 14, 2007
Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean issued the following statement after President Bush signed sweeping lobbying and ethics reform legislation into law:
“With this bill, Democrats are keeping their promise to the American people. Voters sent Democrats to Washington in November to clean up the Republican Culture of Corruption that put what’s good for their party ahead of what’s good for America. Even with Republicans trying to block them every step of the way, Democrats passed sweeping lobbying and ethics reform to bring honest leadership back to Washington. Democrats will continue to stand up for the American people and uphold a government they can be proud of.
(The democratic party is full of BS!)

Good Morning, everyone.
I see Sandtraps already gave the news about McCain ahead when leaners are included. Mind you, we ARE the leaners and the Independents. So, we’ve known for a long time how this was going to go.

#281by the lake: Please see my post above you. They are getting more and more detached from reality. Fine. Let them continue to do so. They now have no other path. We, however, will proceed on the straight path of defeat in the fall for Radical Socialist Obama and all his little pandering soldiers in the DNC.

Then you tell me why the Democrats are blocking every attempt the Republicans have to help lower gas prices they are blocking the Republicans from trying to help the American people and our poor economy. Watch E-SPAN it says a lot.
Think noname on some level has a victim mentality…think about his note at the Wailing Wall talking about despair….and always talking about being attacked. On a deeper level I think he knows he is not qualified. Keeping that ego inflated is easy when the media is swooning over him. But he can’t handle real criticism. He has painted himself as the consummate “nice guy” but on the inside he really isn’t and knows it. He is the one who will bring his own downfall….again blaming everyone else for not understanding who he is. He’s a mess. Certainly not
Presidential material. Just what was on my mind this morning!

I think you’re right! It will be something to diminish the other mudslides…I bet it will be something off the charts to divert everyone’s attention on the DNC. With PUMA PAC getting national recognition, they know they have to do something and right away. The Pretender knows he didn’t earn the right to be where he is…he’s a plant…a poisonous one at that.
288 SunnyPA
Have a nice day and thanks.
I am starting to feel that Hillary doesn’t want to be the nominee. I seen her get beat down and get right back up. She knows neither had enough delegates and she said she would take it to the convention BUT she also says she is 100% backing OBAMA even though he has screwed her over not helping her with her debt. WHY would she still want to help him. She claims is she puts her name on the ballot it will cause unity even if she loses. BUT EVEN IF SHE LOSES I WILL NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA. I feel like she will tell the DNC to give it to OBAMA even if they put her name on the ballot. Why do I feel like we are being tricked?
I wish we could talk to Bill so we would know exactly what is going on.
The good news as I believe Obama will do someting big this week– it can’t be race baiting or a big celebrity thing.. We know the Obama Olympic ads are coming put if they are flashy don’t they support the notion of celebrity status not leadership. Also 75,000 acceptance all flash lol.

re#293 texs4hillary
that’s funny I was thinking the same thing!
Energy plan to be announced at 10 am. by the Pretender…a champion of compromise is what he calls himself..the pretender!! Lansing, MO is where he’s announcing this.
In the Sunday Philadelphia Inquirer there is an ad for people to come and work for the Obama campaign. He is paying $300-$500 a week. It said “great for college students.”
More paid bloggers? More paid bullies?
Maybe I can sneak onto the payroll and have them pay me for attacking their own websites.
I’ll be back in a minute…gotta feed all my animals…I have to be back here to hear what the Pretender has to say – the Champion of Compromise!

Hillary has no choice but to play by the rules of the DP. Our goals are bigger than Hillary and *61. It is all about fighting and defeating *61 and the equally corrupt party.
Does anyone believe that he is ready to be President? It is a very scary idea.

if we are being told to hold our tongues/be quiet/ shut up it only means that someone is hearing. To quote Bono ” and you can scream so scream outloud and don’t let the bastards bring you down”
#293 Texs4hillary – we can only guess what Hillary really wants now. She HAS to act like she is supporting noname….she promised she would and is keeping her word. More than most politicians do. However I believe
ANYTHING can happen yet. Hillary fought hard to have the democratic process play out…the DNC threw her under the bus and I imagine getting out from under that and trying to establish some personal and political equilibrium has taken a lot of her energy. I think secretly she is OVERJOYED that we are not letting our voices be silenced. Don’t think she believes he is any more quailified for the job than we do…but she CAN”T say that. It would be political suicide.
I absolutely will not vote for noname either….but if she is not the nominee then it won’t be too long and she will be back out on the campaign trail for 2012. I believe there are so many of us who will do a protest vote and vote for McCain. Have been thinking lately again about the prospect that Hillary DOES get the nomination and noname as the VP…then the dems just might have a chance of winning this election. I suppose I could tolerate noname in that position because Hillary would be our President! We need to keep speaking up for her!!
nobama’s energy plan……………..
that SOB is just repeating what Hill was saying in the primary !! can he have an original Ideas !!!!
GOD, what an ass………..
Other VERY Interesting (GOOD) news from Rasmussen:
——————
Only 22% Say McCain Ad Racist, But Over Half (53%) See Obama Dollar-bill Comment That Way
Sunday, August 03, 2008
Sixty-nine percent (69%) of the nation’s voters say they’ve seen news coverage of the McCain campaign commercial that includes images of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and suggests that Barack Obama is a celebrity just like them. Of those, just 22% say the ad was racist while 63% say it was not.
However, Obama’s comment that his Republican opponent will try to scare people because Obama does not look like all the other presidents on dollar bills was seen as racist by 53%. Thirty-eight percent (38%) disagree.

RING, RINK, RING… KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK…
Who’s there?
The Democratic Party.
Sorry, wrong number, wrong address. I am an intelligent voter. I have no respect for arrogant, inexperienced wan-a-be faux leadership, dirty politicans, or a political party that created a monster and wants to turn our highest office into a haunted house.
Everyone needs to understand, if Hillary were to speak out against the chosen one, Democratic Leadership and the Soros contingency would make every effort to turn her into the next Liebermann. After all, he only differed with the party line on one issue, and they through him under the bus after nominating him as VP. Clinton has to walk a fine line and depend on her supporters to do what she politically can’t.
What I do find amusing though, is that Bill Clinton’s continued silence couldn’t send a clearer message to Hillary’s supporters.
Just need to post this video again for all new arrivals. Terrific video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meb4HSQth3A
WHY is OBAMA getting away with violating our Constitution? Why would they allow him to be VP? He needs to be charged with treason. Why is this not being done? Everyone wants Bush impeached and technically he has done what other presidents have done in the time of war. I watched the senate and republican meeting on this issue on CSPN. The Democrats are our worse nightmare.
#303 KENDALBLUE
Good question, it was a posting over at hillaryclintonforum, someone over there appears to be in charge of getting delegates to sign the petition and says if we continue sending e-mails, faxes and phone calls we will destroy her project.
Well, apparantly she is referring to delegates and not superdelegates.
Not sure how she is organizing the petition or if its a pile of crock so take it for what’s its worth.
Murphy will check it out i’m sure.
#306 – It is the Puma Communities efforts that have given enough attention to Obama’s campaign tactics to allow McCain enough courage to call out Obama’s Race-Baiting.
Personally, I’m still trying to see where the ‘celebrity ad’ could ever be considered racist. I know those 22% are kool-aid drinkers, but seriously, what part of the ad was race-related?
hi all guess what Rasum. poll Mccain i point lead
TrishfromCanada……………thank you. I will wait for Murphy to give us an answer..
Dear Mr. Obama and the DP:
If you think that you are going to take over and control our government like you have our election process…
It is not going to happen!
P.S. Why don’t you go get a real job and get out of PUBLIC SERVICE!
I heard Hillary’s campaign site has been taken over by OBAMA that is why you don’t want to donate to it or believe anything they are saying. If it wasn’t true then why would we be destroying her project?
Fox news now: Bob Beckle : Ad can’t be responsible for his drop in polls. American’s expect their Pres to be a celebrity. They REPUBS are going after Obama on character, race etc and have been since 1968.
Andrea something: Ad paints a larger narrative about Obama Obama’s policies are as outdated as your (Beckles) suspenders.

I agree. We must stay focused and positive. We must rise above all the negative. Hillary should be our example. Murphy will let us know our next move. We are being heard and Obama is getting nervous. He will use every back room tactic he can but he will bury himself.
Jan is to late for Bill to speak out. Did the DNC threaten them or something? Like OBAMA’s campaign has done to everyone?
Especially Edwards. That is probably what they held over his head for his endorsement.
Cindy Sheehan I thought was an Obama supporter? I know she hates Hillary. Anyone can clarify? Why would she be speaking to PUMA?
WHO is Cindy Sheehan?

Good morning PUMAS,
Just herad on fox that Obama might be open to drilling off shore.CAN YOU SAY FLIP FLOP AGAIN.And he wants to tap in to the oil reserves. This man has no original ideas on how to help America. This was Pelosi’s Idea
She is the one that has raised all sorts of he** with Bush. She is antiwar, her son, sorry to say, was killed in Iraq. She since became an anti war activist, cammped out around Bush’s home in TX. Has since bought ajoining property to Bush. I understand her antiwar sentiment, but that is a different issue than PUMA right now. Muddies the water.
What a PSYCHO!
Trish,
Everyone should be wary of anyone that says contacting Supers is somehow hurting Hillary’s efforts. A month ago, her name in nomination wasn’t even a consideration. The Obama campaign and their supporters are flopping the crap everywhere to try to stop the anti-o movement in the Democratic Party.
Case-In-Point: Obama’s call for the DNC to fully seat Florida and Michigans delegates. He knows that they are not scheduled to meet and won’t overturn their own decision. It’s just a way of marketing the appearance that he is with the people of Florida and Michigan.
texas BUT she is running against Pelosi to take her out of house

She might be trying to get us to swing Mckinleys way
If Sheehan lives in Texas howe can she be going up against Nancy in Cali?

At this point in the political mayhem, it is OUR mission to be her true voice when she can not speak and to act when she can not act.
It is up to us to give her back her voice so that she forge ahead in her lifetime of service to Americans.
REMEMBER THAT WHEN YOU HAVE DOUBT.
I sure want Pelosi out if she can do it great for her Kerry needs to go down too and I thin Oreilly will do that. They will be jr. Senators and maybe not even win in Nov. but if they can get these 2 out at primary good for us.

I already told those bloggers over at washingtonpost that Hillary’s taking it to the Convention floor, go weep for Bo some more!
#352 she didnt buy a house. she bought land so she could protest legally on her own property.
Hillary said in her tape as an aside- Well I cannt control that-Haveing her a winner I took that to mean. If they want me I will serve there voice. SO I think we have to yell for her we are being heard.
#328 TEXS4HILLARY…
There can be is no other reason than a threat to Hillary Clinton’s Democratic Party Affiliation.
The Democratic Party membership can vote to rescend her party affilation if she does not support the party’s nominee.
They damn sure didn’t help her serve the American Public for 30+years in the name of the Democratic Party… but they can damn sure try to destroy her political career.
Hillary earned the job… she didn’t buy it.
Want to buy a job, America? Contact the Democratic Party.

It appears you feel your political ambitions far out weigh your responsibilities to the citizens of Illinois who you represent. This is made evident by your failure to vote for or against bills that come before the US Senate.
If this is is an example of what we can come to expect, then I’d rather see you as an ordinary citizen rather than a representative of Illinois or the Untied States.
I really don’t care to hear your rhetoric or diatribe. I would much rather see you actively performing your responsibilities as a Senator representing Illinois.

Here’s another one to Harry Reid:
To:
Sen. Harry Reid
July 21, 2008
In February 2008, Barack Obama, a U.S. presidential candidate from Democratic Party, had a speech about his vision of the North America. “Under George W. Bush, the United States has not lived up to its historic role as a leader in the Western Hemisphere. As president, I will restore that leadership by working to advance the common prosperity and security of all of the people of the Americas. That work must begin with a renewed strategic partnership with Mexico.” – said Obama.
“Mr. Bush took office vowing to make the Americas a top priority. But over the last seven years, the administration’s approach to this issue has been clumsy, disinterested and, above all, distracted by the war in Iraq. Indeed, relations have not fully recovered since Mexico refused to fall in line with President Bush’s rush to war.
Starting my first year in office, I will convene annual meetings with [Mexico's President] Mr. Calderon and the prime minister of Canada. Unlike similar summits under President Bush, these will be conducted with a level of transparency that represents the close ties among our three countries. We will seek the active and open involvement of citizens, labor, the private sector and non-governmental organizations in setting the agenda and making progress.
It’s also time to develop a bilateral strategy for lifting up our border communities. Six and a half million Americans live in cities and towns next to the border, and 61 million Americans live in the four states that border Mexico. Too often we neglect the unique needs of these communities, which are integrated with their sister cities across the border. As president, I will work with state and local governments to enhance cross-border partnerships in transportation, law enforcement, environmental protection, health care and water usage.
At a national level, our diplomacy with Mexico must aim to amend NAFTA. I will seek enforceable labor and environment standards – not unenforceable side agreements that have done little to curb NAFTA’s failures.”
What is North American Union
President Bush is pursuing a globalist agenda to create a North American Union, effectively erasing our borders with both Mexico and Canada. This was the hidden agenda behind the Bush administration’s true open borders policy.
Secretly, the Bush administration is pursuing a policy to expand NAFTA politically, setting the stage for a North American Union designed to encompass the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. What the Bush administration truly wants is the free, unimpeded movement of people across open borders with Mexico and Canada.
The blueprint President Bush is following was laid out in a 2005 report entitled “Building a North American Community” published by the left-of-center Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). The CFR report connects the dots between the Bush administration’s actual policy on illegal immigration and the drive to create the North American Union:
“At their meeting in Waco, Texas, at the end of March 2005, U.S. President George W. Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin committed their governments to a path of cooperation and joint action.”
If you think this is unreal, this is a conspiracy plot, think again. In 2007, North Carolina state driver’s licenses started featuring a “North American Union”-ready logo, just like on Security and Prosperity Partnership website.
The stated target for full implementation of the North American Union is 2010.

Polls now show Obama and McCain tied!!! The Rasmussen poll is still polling Senator Clinton against McCain, and guess what??? She has an 8 Point lead over Senator McCain, well outside the margin of error. Senator Obama leads Senator McCain by only 3 points, INSIDE the margin of error.
McCain is now viewed favorably by 56% of voters; Obama by 54%. Obama receives unfavorable reviews from 44% of voters while McCain is viewed unfavorably by 41%. McCain earns favorable ratings from 32% of Democrats while Obama is viewed favorably by 22% of Republicans. Among unaffiliated voters, McCain is viewed favorably by 58%, Obama by 54%.
Now is the time for all the Super Delegates and party officials to take action and take back the White House!! PLEDGE to Hillary Clinton!!. Hillary Clinton is the electable candidate!!!
McCain and Obama’s visits to the Latino American community. drew no up roaring round of applause, at the end of either of their speeches. The up roaring round of the applause came when both candidates merely mentioned Senator Clinton’s name!!

Maryland…what are we reading to make us very happy?
If anyone doubts that Hillary Clinton is ALL ABOUT the PEOPLE and “the Voice of the People” remember this:
She and Bill don’t need the money nor are they new to success.
They have both achieved more in their lifetimes than almost anyone in Public Service (they have no need to “lead” with their egos);
They have been through all of the pomp of popularity – (nothing new to them.)
Hillary crossed the states of America to not only talk to the American people, but listen.
No doubt about it, she is listening now! She knows we know she can offer the leadership that our country needs. — and that we chose her because of her qualifications and not because of some free music, beer and a hot dog. (she truly respects her voters)

Good morning, Pumas. Murphy, great job again and I can’t wait for the full documentary. You are doing one heck of a job and we all appreciate your efforts.
Just checked my e-mail and got a letter from Karen Thurman of the FL DNC all ga-ga because the “chosen one” is going to allow Fl + MI’s delegates to be seated. How nice of him. I’m getting ready to go on a rampage and fax Howard “Scream” Dean and Pelosi. In the interim, here’s my response to Karen Thurman:
Dear Ms. Thurman, I find Barak Obama’s sudden generosity to be disingenuous. If he wanted the full delegation seated, he should have advised Howard Dean and the DNC when Hillary was still in the race. It is easy for him to call for unity now that he is the “PRESUMED” nominee. Sen. Obama is one of the worst candidates the DNC has pushed down our throats. The DNC should have seated the full delegation when it had the chance and it is not up to Barak Obama to make the rules. Where was Howard Dean and why was he cowering and stumbling on television that it was up to the parties? Barak Obama refused to seat the delegates because it would have put Sen. Clinton ahead of him in delegates. I can emphatically tell you if Hillary Clinton is not the nominee, I will vote for John McCain because of the un-Democratic Party’s incompetence. Sen. Obama will never win and our country will suffer because of the Party’s inaction when Hillary Clinton is the best qualified candidate to lead this county forward. Shame on all of you for allowing this to happen!

pssst…. the ‘champion of compromise’ is actually the “King of Flip-Flops”
…shhhh… he doesn’t want anyone to know.
murphy concerning 108.
I heard they don’t want President Clinton to speak at the convention too. It appears they only want losers at the convention. You know, Dean, Kennedy, Kerry and Gore. I guess having the only two term winning Democrat in how many years wouldn’t work for them.
#293 I, too, am confused about Hillary’s stance. Why in the world would she not take it to Denver? I say the hell with the political aspect of it. I’m stoked now and I don’t want to wait until 2012. It’s anticlimatic. She absolutely knows he is unqualified and I am at a loss how you can back a candidate that is unqualified. It’s not all the other presidential candidates that trash each other, each is qualified in their own way. BO is not, he’s a sham. I’ve watched that video of hers several times and it doesn’t look like she is going to do anything in spite of what everyone else is reading into her comments. Why did she say that she would not have the delegates and that we need to support him? Did she emphatically state she would sign the petition of the 300 delegates? I could be wrong but this doesn’t look like a woman who is going to fight.
Anyone else queazy about Cindy Sheehan being associated with our coalition? I do feel for her loss, but she has become a rabid peacenik. A few of us may relate to this, but most, I believe, trust Hillary’s view of National Security which is through strength..not appeasement. This is not a Puma focus.
Also, Cynthia McKinney is just nuts. A couple of years ago she assaulted a security guard at the Capitol. She was not wearing her ID badge and he refused to let her pass. She, of course, screamed Racism. She was reprimanded by the House leadership.
I would love to see Nancy Pelosi deposed, but let’s be careful who we associate with.
Sorry – have to get in a parting comment that most of you will want to strangle me over:
Someone wrote Congress and said everytime they hear Obama speak they hear Barney’s song – sing it with me . . .
I luv you, you luv me,
Really going now! Bwahahaha.
More significant is the likelihood that both Sen. Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton will have prominent speaking roles at the Democratic convention later this month, where Obama will be nominated to be the party’s presidential nominee.
ABC News’ Jake Tapper and Tahman Bradley contributed to this report.

Proudly wearing my PUMA bracelet today. And sent more $ to Hillary for the possible dinner offer.
#108 Murphy I just read your post and that is another reason that Hillary should tell them to shove it. I would not be supporting this manchurian candidate. I really think she overdid the Unity speech by saying elect BO too many times. Once would have been enough.
BO is talking in Lansing, MI right now. Boy can that guy suck up. I don’t remember Hillary every doing that. Listening to him talk anytime makes me feel ill but I really gag when he talks about the military.

#416 HP Boston… Here is a sneak preview to Bill Clinton’s Speech on his enthusiasm for Obama:
I read this on AOL. It is an article stating that Hillary will not file a request to be put into nomination. It says that unless she, herself, files and signs the request, her name will not be put up for nomination at the Convention. No one else can do this for her, so says the article.
http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008/08/01/clinton-will-not-file-request-for-nomination/
Don’t know if this is true. Sure hope not.
I just want to say that I fought long and hard for Hillary during the Primaries (and after the Primaries through PUMA), and if she thinks that we are all going to “fall in line” and vote for Obama, well… That just isn’t going to happen. Not even if hell freezes over.
As an afterthought: You would think the DNC would want a Democrat to win this election. But they are doing everything in their power to insure this doesn’t happen. Obama isn’t going to win, no matter how fancy the airplane, not matter how stylish the suit, no matter how many teleprompters and speechwriters. The DNC really underestimates the American voter. We are not stupid. And we are not going to vote for Obama.
My Mom was born and lived in Lansing. Thank God she’s gone to a better place and doesn’t have to listen to this maniac.
Sorry… Bill Clinton doesn’t seem to have anything to say.

“……McCain is currently viewed favorably by 55% of the nation’s voters, Obama by 51%. That is the lowest rating for Obama since he wrapped up the nomination. Obama is viewed favorably by 83% of Democrats, 22% of Republicans, and 47% of unaffiliated voters. For McCain, the numbers are 87% favorable among Republicans, 26% among Democrats, and 61% among unaffiliated voters
….Forty-six percent (46%) of voters trust McCain more than Obama on energy issues while Obama is trusted more by 42%. Two months ago, Obama had a four point edge on the energy issue
….Sixty-nine percent (69%) of voters have seen or heard news coverage of McCain’s ad including Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. Just 22% believe the ad was racist. But, most say Obama’s comment about not looking like other Presidents on the dollar bill was racist.”
…..Forty-six percent (46%) of voters nationwide now say that Obama views U.S. society as unfair and discriminatory. That’s up from 43% in July and 39% in June. By a three-to-one margin, American voters hold the opposite view and believe that our society is generally fair and decent ”

#414 Doria We absolutely should not be associated with Cindy Sheehan. At hcsfjm.com earlier in the week, we were told to get in touch with all pro-Hillary websites and not to meet up with or have anything to do with Cindy Sheehan. That it would diminish what we are trying to do for Hillary and cause confusion. Let Cindy do her thing, we need to stay as far away from her as possible. As a matter of fact, they put out an alert to stay clear of her. Also, Cynthia McKinney is a nut case, she’s the one who punched a cop because he didn’t recognize her. They are both bad news.
Also, tonight, Rev Manning is going to be back on the show at 8pm EST and tomorrow, Larry Sinclair!

LOSERS —ARGGGGG — Sorry, I get soooo mad!
#414 Doria, sorry, I repeated the Cynthia McKinney story, didn’t realize you had already posted it. I’m trying to read too fast!
Dear Nancy Pelosi:
As long as you continue your unconditional support for Obama, the Democratic Party will never be united. The selection process completed behind closed doors on May 31, 2008 by the DNC Rules and Bi laws Committee has severely separated any party member that believes in ‘fair reflection’, from the Party. The general consensus seems to be on the hill that everyone is ‘upset because their gal didn’t win’. The issue is corruption, blatant and flagrant by the DNC. And this has generated the anger at the DNC. This corruption has awakened the American sleeping giant: The giant that believes in due process, in one person one vote, elections by the people, not the few. These are the people that actually believe in the Constitution and the rules of democracy. These are the people that actually believed at one time that you had their best interests at heart. That is now very obviously a stupid mistake on our part. But we are stupid no longer. We are angry, and we will do everything to legitimately vote out all who have engaged in this treachery. If we don’t get you this election, we will go after you this next election, and the next.
The DNC’s behavior will forever sully any legitimacy the Party tries to claim if you allow this sham to continue. I know of no one that doesn’t remember the Republican coup of 2000. Do you actually think the American people will just look the other way because this time it is the Democratic Party?

Rev Manning AND Sinclair? What channel? I HAVE TO SEE THAT!
#423 I don’t know why the DNC doesn’t make allowances for the voice of the voters I mean this is the first year that such a unique situation has happened so surely they can make allowances and change the rules to accomodate what the voters want and put Hill’s name on it without her saying she wants it. I mean they already changed the rules when they allocated four of her votes to BOs and that wasn’t in line with what the voters wanted. it seems at the DNC everybody has a voice – the media, BO and co except the voters.

lol right Bruce and few others too!!

He was thinking of the 57 Islamic States. What a loser!
Why on earth would anyone in their right mind vote for this moron!
That’s why the dems in congress don’t try to pass anything. They do not want him voting so we can see what is record would be.

When a dictator takes over – there is no time limitation. Sorry – but I don’t think I’ve ever been so angry………..
By the way, someone asked above about any illegal voting in TX – I heard there were deceased names used and absenttee ballots used. Also, illegals somehow getting to vote……..I think there’s a way we can find out through the judiciary system where voter fraud occurred was filed, but I don’t know how to do it.
Murphy
Do you know? Is Riverdaughter going to send the list of names she is gathering to Chuck Todd. I looked today and people are still signing up.
#461 JennforHillary I agree, Never give up, never give in! This is our time and SHE is the ONE!!
also abt the petition to seat hill at the DNC convention I was wondering if one could ask for signatures from leaders of the other parties like Barr, McCain, Nader who ever else is on the ballot as well. I mean like in protest for free and fair elections in the DNC and the country could get signatures from bigdwings outside the DNC as well maybe don’t know if this would work, since one could tell them that the petition is primarily for letting what the voters want be heard at the DNC conference. don’t know tho
This site has a lot of traffic, don’t be frustrated if sometimes you get an error trying to post your comment. I always get a message to slow down in posting, all I do is refresh. Audacity of Democracy video is all over the internet, some embed the video in politico.com. I try to post it in CNN ticker, they never post my comment with url for the video…..
OBAMA… MUCH WORSE THAT WE THOUGHT!!!… READ THE FOLLOWING LETTER WRITTEN TO ( I KNOW THIS IS LONG, BUT WE NEED TO STOP THIS GUY!!!)
Stop Obama’s Global Poverty Act
To:
Sen. Jeff Sessions
July 8, 2008
According to Lee Cary with the conservative blog AmericanThinker.com, Senator Barack Obama’s $845 billion United Nations-inspired give away of your hard-earned money may be coming up for a vote SOON:
“The Global Poverty Act of 2007 (S.2433) is coming up for a Senate vote sometime after the July 4 recess, according the office of Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. Once Harry Reid and the Democrat leadership put it on the calendar, we could have as little as a week to prepare for the vote.” [Emphasis Mine]
Cary wrote that report just days ago on June 26th. And while we have not yet been able to confirm his report, we HAVE seen a renewed SURGE of activity by groups on the far-Left to push a vote on the Global Poverty Act.
On June 25th, Cliff Kincaid wrote of these efforts in an article titled: “Proud Pagan Witch Backs Obama’s Poverty Bill.”
Kincaid wrote:
“While Senator Barack Obama struggles to keep the public in the dark about the nature of his pro-U.N. Global Poverty Act, a recent ‘Bay Area Interfaith Leaders’ Luncheon’ was held to lobby for Senate passage of the bill, whose cost has been estimated at $845 billion.”
But that’s not all.
In addition to this gathering of far-Left “religious leaders” in the San Francisco area, Kincaid also shared a letter he received from a concerned parent in New York which could be an indication that a wide-spread campaign is taking place throughout the country:
“Meanwhile, a concerned parent alerted us to the fact that a Christian preschool in Long Island, New York was handing out a coloring page for children which included a plea for Congress to pass Obama’s Global Poverty Act. ‘Dear Parents,’ said the letter that was sent home. ‘We would like to join efforts with the congregation of St. David’s to stop world hunger. You and your child can help by coloring and signing the enclosed sheet. This sheet will be sent along with many others to our representatives in Washington…”
“The [enclosed] sheet said ‘Dear Senator: At Preschool, I learned to thank God for the food I eat. I also collect coins to help those who don’t have enough. Today, I ask you to help, too, with more and better aid for the world’s poorest countries. We want Congress to pass the Global Poverty Act. Please cosponsor S. 2433. Thank you.’ The child’s name and age were supposed to be filled in.
As we have stated before, eradicating global poverty is a noble goal. But if history is any guide, we know that just throwing the money of hard-working Americans at the problem does not work.
In fact, it is unlikely that foreign aid would ever make it to the actual struggling people of recipient third world countries. Rather, it will more likely end up lining the pockets of those nations’ corrupt leaders.
And, enlisting children in the effort to pass the Global Poverty Act is simply sick!
Is it possible that our elected officials are gearing up to pass the Global Poverty Act while our backs are turned… while they think we are distracted by the holiday?
If so, we can’t let that happen. WE MUST LET THEM KNOW — RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW — THAT WE ARE WATCHING!.
Tell them you sincerely hope that reports of the Global Poverty Act coming up for a vote right after the 4th of July are premature and unfounded. Tell them that when the American people say DO NOT pass the Global Poverty Act, they mean just that. Tell them it DOES NOT mean, pass it when you think no one is looking!
You Remember the Global Poverty Act
That’s the bill that could pave the way for putting the entire planet on U.S. taxpayer-funded welfare.
The bill’s main sponsor, Senator Barack Obama — along with the other sponsors, including a group of Republicans-In-Name-Only (RINOs) such as Senators Chuck Hagel, Olympia Snowe, and Richard Lugar — probably hopes you have forgotten.
There are legislators on both sides of the aisle who would love nothing more than to slip it by the Senate one sleepy, summer day.
This bill has already passed the House by voice vote and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee by voice vote. That means your legislator can tell you he is “against it” even if he shouted out “Aye” at the top of his lungs.
As author Edward Cline explains: “This is a stratagem adopted by legislators who fear that a bill is so outrageous that it is better that no record be kept of those who endorsed it. S.2433 was passed from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in the same manner – by voice vote, without public hearings, to protect the identities of the guilty.”
What’s it about? Vincent Gioia, writing in Right Side News, says:
” The Global Poverty Act (S.2433) would require the United States to spend $845 billion ($845,000,000,000.00) on welfare to third-world countries. This amounts to a tax of over $2,000 on each man, woman and child in the United States. The foreign aid budget now stands at $300 billion; the Act would add the additional expenditure to the already huge amount allocated to assist the world.”
And Phyllis Schlafly wrote recently:
“Obama’s costly, dangerous and altogether bad bill (S. 2433), which could come up in the Senate any day, is called the Global Poverty Act. It would commit U.S. taxpayers to spend 0.7 percent of our Gross Domestic Product on foreign handouts…”
WorldNetDaily.com quotes Cliff Kincaid at Accuracy in Media as saying:
“[T]he legislation, if approved, dedicates 0.7 percent of the U.S. gross national product to foreign aid, which over 13 years… would amount to $845 billion ‘over and above what the U.S. already spends. The plan passed the House in 2007 because most members didn’t realize what was in it. Congressional sponsors have been careful not to calculate the amount of foreign aid spending that it would require.”
What Are Our Elected Leaders Thinking?
Do they believe that a consortium of third-world dictators and despots can help solve the problems of the world better than the United States of America!
We are the greatest benefactors of the world’s poor because we have an economic system that creates and generates wealth. And apparently Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Hagel, Snowe and Lugar want to CHANGE all that.
But this scheme to supposedly alleviate global poverty did not originate with Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Hagel, Snowe and Lugar.
It was part of a scheme — hatched in the United Nations — called the Millennium Development Goal, and the Global Poverty Act references the Millennium Development Goal throughout.
Dr. Jeffrey D. Sachs, a Columbia University economist, is monitoring the Millennium Development Goal.
In his 2005 report to Kofi Annan — based on the research of 265 “poverty specialists” — Sachs criticized the United States for giving only a mere $16.3 billion a year to alleviate global poverty.
And he has basically stated that the only way to force people to commit money to the alleviation of global poverty is through the imposition of a GLOBAL TAX.
Specifically Sachs said:
“We will need, in the end, to put real resources in support of our hopes. A global tax on carbon-emitting fossil fuels might be the way to begin.”
In other words, let’s tax energy at a time when the American people are struggling to pay their energy and gas bills?
We should have learned a lesson from the Oil-for-Food scandal.
As David Asman of Fox News summarized it:
“It began as a United Nations humanitarian aid program called ‘Oil-for-Food,’ but it ended up with Saddam Hussein pocketing billions to become the biggest graft generating machine ever and enriching some of America’s most forceful opponents at the United Nations.”
Even Kojo Annan — son of former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan — got caught with his hand in the cookie jar and a mouth full of sugar crumbs.
But you know something? Our federal legislators have learned ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from the greatest swindle of all time.
Here they are, once again trying to cram billions and billions of dollars into the hip pockets of terminally corrupt dictators, all of whom support the United Nations plan.
We can’t let that happen again! Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
The Global Poverty Act Is Part of a Much Larger United Nations Scheme
By the way, the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goal — proclaimed in 2000 — contains plans for additional assaults on your wallet. Among its other stated goals are:
a “currency transfer tax,” that is, a tax imposed on companies and individuals who must exchange dollars for foreign currency;
a “tax on the rental value of land and natural resources”;
and “fees for the commercial use of the oceans, fees for airplane use of the skies, fees for use of the electromagnetic spectrum, fees on foreign exchange transactions, and a tax on the carbon content of fuels.”
You see, the Global Poverty Act is not only bad public policy in and of itself, it’s also the first dangerous step toward adopting all of the provisions outlined in the Millennium Development Goal.
We must stop this bill, and we must stop it now!

I had emailed noquarter’s article to O’Reilly and Hannity as soon as jrhed had posted a link to his article yesterday. I was hoping they would jump on that story and I’ll be watching FOX after work tonight in hopes of seeing them nail the NYTimes
If you notice….he speaks mostly to the young college student age people who are very idealistic and so easily influenced. They haven’t lived long enough or experienced the realities of life enough to see through his crap and, to them, he probably sounds like the answer to all the world’s problems. Like sheep, they would follow him over a cliff.
But I don’t know of too many ‘older’ people who are supportive of him. Most of us think his motto is “If you can’t razzle them with your dazzle, then baffle them with your Bulls**t.”
I seriously thing that guy would rather climb a tree to tell a lie than stand on the ground and tell the truth.
484 Gypsy so right and if he doesnt fit the bill no one does. I think thats why he cannt bamboozle older voters we have seen and heard this all before. He is such a hype and now HE is using fear mongering. I am so mad I could spit nickels but he might catch um. Texas and so many other states have so much illegal happenings .Wish I knew what they are doing .Drives me nuts I cannt get any info on so many things
#477 MountainSong… I don’t think that last statement helps our cause nor do I want that.
I want Obama and the DNC to suffer the humilation of their complete defeat… for the rest of their lives.

Anyone seen this? What is your take on it? It has mre very upset. http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008/08/01/clinton-will-not-file

I won’t even go there. Just because something is on the internet doesn’t mean it is true. Don’t get distracted PUMAs, we have little time left before the convention to help Hillary.
Murphy, do we have a prowl today? I am ready!
…and I hope they all live a loooooooong time.
bmw he has been hiding this global bill and house(pelosi) passed it under radar and not sure what happened at senate. It is part of the milenum one world govt.

wow, that’s what they call a Freudian slip?
Honestly, I can’t believe what’s been happening. I’m going out today to get that new book.
I can’t get over the power that the media has and the way he has harnessed it, together with the DNC.
The caucuses, the lies, the closet skeletons, the misogyny, the hatred, the arrogance, etc.
Unbelievable.

thanks, I was surprised, it never happened before to me, I’ll keep trying.
#489 bmw60~~~OMG~~~ I think Obama is turning me into a…..Republican.
MY TWO CENTS ON CANDIDATES TRYING TO UNSEAT THOSE WE DISLIKE:
1. Beware of getting to exciting too soon about any alternative candidate just because they’re not the one we dislike. It doesn’t mean they’re any better.
2. Any candidate going up against an incumbant has a very tough road ahead. They must have enormous support to even have a prayer of winning. Otherwise, they simply serve as a “spoiler” and increase the Republican’s chance of snatching the seat away from a Democrat.
3. With only a matter of days before us until the convention, I think it’s best we stay more focused than ever on Hillary, the nomination, the SD’s, the convention, etc. I’m sure that after the convention this movement will continue to evolve and begin to focus more heavily on down ticket races. But, for now, it would be a shame if we got distracted by these smaller issues (smaller relative to our first goal) and diluted our energies and impact.
Just my perspective. Take it for what it’s worth.
PS Mountain Song – I’m with you. I haven’t watched or listened to Bush for 8 yrs because it’s so unbearable and I have the same approach when it comes to Obama. I know all I need to know about him and needn’t upset myself further by continued exposure to his rhetoric. It’s like retraumatization for me.
also abt the petition to seat hill at the DNC convention I was wondering if one could ask for signatures from leaders of the other parties like Barr, McCain, Nader who ever else is on the ballot as well. I mean like in protest for free and fair elections in the DNC and the country could get signatures from bigdwigs outside the DNC as well maybe don’t know if this would work, since one could tell them that the petition is primarily for letting what the voters want be heard at the DNC conference. don’t know tho, since a lot of the DNC seems to be in Os back pocket maybe it would help if pressure came from outside the party as well I mean if the DNC ignored the petition that had Barrs, Mccains, Naders, plus hill supporters and SDS from their own party and 18 millions voters would look very bad on them.
#498 MountainSong
LMAO! Yeah, he is Uniting us alright – He is united us with the Republicans!
#489 bmw60 I’ve read that before and it’s one of the worst bills I’ve seen. The stupid dems probably want to pass it so he’ll have a resume. I’ve just called my senators in Florida and asked them to vote against it.
Everyone call your senators and ask them to vote against this bill. For those in Florida, Sen. Bill Nelson (202) 224-5274; Sen Mel Martinez (202) 224-3041.
Finally got thru to Dean’s Fax (202) 863-8174. Pelosi Fax: (202) 225-4288

You’re so funny!! But the other PUMAs are right and that the issue is taking care of the DNC issues…Hillary has not waved a surrender flag…and remember, she and Bill, Geraldine Ferraro and us, still have something they want…….our Vote!
Mountain,
Obama isn’t turning you into a Republican, he is turning you into a self-thinking independent. Welcome to the club.
Obama leads, but worker pessimism reigns!
Off of the worst site in the world, MSNBC.

Actually say the lowest income voters do not believe that Obama nor McCain can fix the economy.
Do I hear a white horse approaching in the background, yes, it is Hillary…ready to save the day. She can get us out of this mess just like Bill did, so why would any delegate not want her to win?
I am so angry about Bo NOW saying he is going to seat Mich. and Florida.
I guess Mr. King of the World has permission to tell Flo. and Mich. and every other one of the “57″ states what to do.
bruce5555 – If you encounter any difficulty getting the book and want to share your experience you can e-mail Dances. If she gets enough stories of funky experiences trying to find the book and/or buy it I’ve offered to complile the stories into letter form which I will then send to the CEO of the bookstore(s) that appear to have a pattern of withholding the book’s availabililty.
“enlisting children in the effort to pass the Global Poverty Act is simply sick!”
And to think that in the early 90′s, when some of us were warning of the “New World Order”, most people thought we were nuts. We will see this come to pass if Obama is elected. And, I have no doubt, martial law WILL need to be imposed to stop the massive armed resistance to this plan.
It will be worldwide.
Can anyone imagine Israel conforming to this NWO? Or China?
If these globalists are allowed to flourish it will be the end of what we call “Freedom” in America.
Will be back/ Need to formulate my letter to Sen Webb and Warner in VA re: global poverty act.

I just went to that website and nothing is there. I think someone told me that the news was false and they were getting it retracted. At least, I didn’t see a story.
Wow! Check out Jennifer Rubin’s article about us today! It is really great! Be sure to comment — and THANK you to all the Puma PAC members who agreed to interview with Jennifer. You know who you are!
http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/hillary-supporters-are-mad-and-theyre-not-going-to-take-it-anymore/
Last night several posters were encouraging us to call the Delegate Hotline this morning about seating all of the delegates from FL and MI. I posted a couple of times asking for clarification as to why we should do that, but I was also feeling really really foggy-headed last night and didn’t fully trust my comprehension. Anyway, I don’t see anything about that spontaneous prowl idea today, but if anyone is into it, turns out I’m either still foggy-headed or just plain thick cause I still don’t get why we should take that action. If this is still a hot issue in terms of action and anyone wants to explain why we should do this, please share.
(I’m confused since it seems established now that all the delegates will be seated per Obama’s orders! So, is this action just about having a voice to ensure that they are, or what? I keep feeling like I’m missing something in the logic.)
Hey everyone, by the way those evil Republicans are back on the floor of the House right now as I type, in the dark, still protesting the shut down of congress. Pelosi, meanwhile is sitting in a bookstore waiting for someone to show up.

I don’t see it that way. I think this is one of the topics that Hillary was negotiating with *61 and their attorney. If not, there must be some reason he isn’t worried that Fla and Mich delegates will overturn their votes and help Hillary win at the convention. Are their full votes enough to win it for her?
{{{{Murphy}}}} do we need a prowl on this situation of delegate votes in Fla and Mich to back our girl at the convention????
Murphy – GREAT article! Susan Estrich is wonderful. I loved all her stuff at Rasmussen and used to write to them often to let them know how much I appreciated her integrity. (Froma Harrop is another great one over there.) Just discovered PAJAMAS recently when Kyle-Anne Shiver who writes for AT got her first piece published there. Maybe we (that’s one of those “we” means you we’s!) could have a place on this web site that has links to alternative media outlets.
bruce -I’ll be curious to hear how things go.
Anna7000 he wants them now that he knows the DNC won’t support hills name on the ballot now that their votes don’t actually count he thinks its fine to throw them a bone just to show what a great guy he is – so i.e he thinks hes already the nominee and it doesn’t matter to him. also abt the petition to seat hill at the DNC convention I was wondering if one could ask for signatures from leaders of the other parties like Barr, McCain, Nader who ever else is on the ballot as well. #499 Anna7000 ~~~Thank you. When we stop to listen to all his proposals, it becomes apparent that he will turn America into a Third World Country for sure.
I think that’s his strategy.
It all takes money to accomplish and you can’t make a poor man rich by making rich people poor.
If he takes away any more money from the average citizen, he will, in effect, have enslaved us all.
chrissie – thanks for the post. yeah, i think we all agree obama’s throwing a bone to secure his political future in these two states. i just didn’t get why we would be calling the delegate hotline. but, the idea seems to have died down today, so i’ll forget about it too.
I’d much rather endure 4 years of McCain than 8 years of Obama and I think the majority of Americans is beginning to feel the same.
#499 Anna7000
I agree, stay focused, stay strong, stay a PUMA
Well, I just called Hillary’s campaign office and spoke to Jeremy Kennedy. I emphatically asked him whether Hillary was going to sign the petition to have her name put in nomination. He said NO. He told me that Hillary is backing Obama and that their campaign office is basically just a skeleton crew. That Hillary has been doing this for 30 years and this is what she has to do to retain her credibility and do the work that she has done and will continue to do. I argued with him that she would have the required delegates with FL & Mi and he said no. I told him it was stolen, everything you all know but he told me that it was over and that BO was going to be the nominee. I’m heartsick over this but finally I got an answer, not the one I wanted. I did tell him I would not support Obama even though she endorsed him. So there you have it Pumas, it’s McCain.
For anyone interested. Here the link to The Caucus at the NY Times. My posts never post there (just like at Hillary’s campaign site back in the day….gggrrrrrrr). But hopefully other pro-Clinton folk’s posts will get through.

That’s a great article! Finally, we’re starting to get the attention we deserve from the media. I had no idea that we had raised so much money, by the way, that’s fantastic PUMAs!
Some interesting things from the Rasmussen poll today:
McCain is view as more favorable by a 55%-51% margin, and he is viewed favorably by 61% of independents, compared to 47% for Obama.
McCain now leads Obama on the energy issue 46%-42%
Forty-six percent (46%) of voters nationwide now say that Obama views U.S. society as unfair and discriminatory. Americans, by a 3-to-1 margin have the opposite view of the country, and sees it as generally fair.
McCain leads 52% to 37% among independents.
#525 ladyhawkke …that is sad news but like you said at least we know the truth and have to deal with it!! I guess Hillary has a plan for 2012…hopefully!! McCain…the 44th POTUS..NOBO!!
ladyhawkke – what a disconcerting conversation. here’s my take:
1. you spoke to someone whose knowledge and authority is something we can’t really fully assess.
2. given clinton’s comments on the video from 7/31, it seemed she was open to having her name placed in nomination, while also leaving her answer ambiguous enough to make me wonder if something’s cooking (something not good that is) that she wasn’t fully disclosing.
3. that said (2 above), if she doesn’t want her name placed in nomination, then i keep coming around to why she doesn’t release her delegates, which for me would be the ultimate sign (beyond her stating flat out that she does not want her name placed in nomination) that she’s thrown in the last towel.
4. i think she’s in a very delicate position because she has come out and endorsed obama so for her now to be at all assertive about wanting her name to be placed in nomination would send a bit of a mixed message. that’s why i think her answer on the video was a bit hedging (leaving the door open for it to go either way), but also why i think she must rely on OTHERS (passionate delegates, us, etc) to advocate for her. i just don’t think her party line can be anything direct about wanting her name placed in nomination.
sorry for typos and rambing. no patience to edit.
#525 ladyhawkke~~~Well, then, McCain it is. I had a strong feeling it would come to this.
#525 ladyhawkke
Your right! Let it rain McCain.
Well, for me that changes nothing although I feel sad she’s not willing to stand. My beef is with the Dem leadership, I’m just sorry she decided to play along, but I will not stop fighting them for their corruption, and will not vote Dem
If Obama’s platform is that of the Democratic Party, then I am changing to Republican/independent.
#525 ladyhawkke its not over yet for Hill, the way I think would be to go is to get signatures from high ranking people and politicians outside the DNC, Mcc, Nader, Barr, + 18 million strong and then if the DNC ignored these people plus the voters Mcc would have the fodder for the next ad. Secondly Hillarys like a lamb in a pit of vipers i.e the DNC even if she insists for her own name she has no guarantee that the corrupt DNC hasn’t bought off all the remaining SDS yet – they probably have even that of Fl and Mi thats why O is so eager to seat them now hes bought them all off probably and then she just makes them look legitimate. Lets not give up on Hill yet its abt what the voters want now and what they want 18 million of them anyway is Hill. It isn’t over yet.
If Hillary has truly said that, then, IMHO, she has sold out the Party, and not the strong woman I believed her to be. And there is nothing really left of the Party. It’s time for a new one….like the PUMA Party.
i’m the last person to have any false hopes or notions about how things are going to play out at the convention (i’m a real pessimist and skeptic at heart, which is a drag). that said, i really think that if hillary does not want her name to be placed in nomination she:
1. would not be so disingenuous to the gathering of supporters last month (ie, what we saw/heard on the video), and
2. we would see her making a statement to the press, no? i mean, i think that would be a big deal and yet she has made not statement that I’m aware of. all we’ve got are 1 or 2 (untrustworthy) media outlets saying they have an “unidentified source” and some guy at the campaign office. until i see a press release from her campaign or her make a statement, i’m not assuming anything other than the fact that she is in one precarious situation.

534 chrissieD~~~In 2000 and 2004, the voters wanted Gore and Kerry. What we want this year means about as much as then. To fight it with words is like pissing in the wind to put out a forest fire.
#525 ladyhawkke, I knew it! And that is why Obambi is saying to count Florida & Michigan now, very convenient! He is paying so many people and buying this whole thing, he feels so secured now, it is disgusting! But believe or not, all that media attention towards him is hurting him, he is speaking so much bull, he does not even beleive himself! All those things that he is going to do, for the “People of the world”, whatever!
#529 Anna 7000 & #534 Chrissie D I’m inclined to think she has not released her delegates because in her heart, she is hoping that this bumbling idiot implodes. And she may still be the nominee because of all his shady deals. There is the suit against him regarding the lies on his IL Bar Application, the US Atty may indict him in Rezco, I just feel somthing is going to happen. It ain’t over till it’s over. Carry on, PUMAS!
sorry my post came up twice – not sure how that happened. it wasn’t intentional.
#525 ladyhawkke on 08.04.08 at 1:01 pm
Well, I just called Hillary’s campaign office and spoke to Jeremy Kennedy.
—-
Ladyhawkke, what did you expect him to say? Did you see the video that was posted the other day where women in what looked like a backyard talked to Hillary about the petition to have her name put in nomination. She was not opposed to it. She did say she didn’t think enough delegates would vote for her to over turn the nomination at the convention. (We don’t know if this is fact until the convention)
Just talking to a guy that answers the phone you are not going to get the inside story, he has been told what to say to the public, it is his job.
Hillary has to support Obama in public, period. It is up to all of us to do the busy work necessary to give the delegates the ability to vote for her at the convention if they have the courage.
i agree, ladyhawkke (#540). but if that is her thought, then she would need to keep the door open for her name to be placed in nomination. at least, i think…
513 murphy
That was a great post…don’t you think it’s great that people “are” listening……….
remember all, Hillary cannot tell “anyone” what she is going to do…she can accept anything at the convention as long as it doesn’t appear that she campaigned for it. Just keep remembering that and listen to Murphy, Trish, Maryland, etc…just continue doing what you’re doing.
Billie Jo – I agree with you completely.
I posted a link wrong before check it out and let me know your take on it, I am upset about it.
http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008/08/01/clinton-will-not-file-request-for-nomination/
#542 Billie Jo I agree. But she has to sign the petition. When she signs the petition, I’ll be convinced. Let’s see what happens when we get those 300 signatures. I’m going to ask MommaE at Ed Hale’s site tonight about that. The best thing that could happen to this country is that he is indicted!
#538 I understand its just that with all this corruption its just another reason why I don’t trust O anywhere near the election ballot. I mean he already has the media slaughtering all his opposition for him plus all this voter fraud what if he actually gets a chance to be on that ballot and the margins are small again
These links were posted from last night but worth posting again. Apparently this was what a Summer Fest gathering for Obama looks like when they don’t hire any Rock Stars to give a concert. LOL

Here’s pictures of the crowd Obama’s Summer Fest gathered (a related link from the first link):

Avoid the Pain vote McCain!!!!
THIS IS NONSENSE and COUNTER – PRODUCTIVE
CAN WE PLEASE JUST KEEP IT TOGETHER?
Sorry for “shouting” but please, there is no point in even asking her campaign they cannot say anything at all yet. It changes NOTHING and we still have to do all we can to fight to get her on the nomination.
Only Hillary knows what she is going to do, and she already said what she can. She is keeping her options open to the roll call vote and nomination. What if the media phoned and asked that same question? It would be all over the headlines. What makes you think they can tell you anything else at this point?
#513 murphy
Now that was a great article from; http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/hillary-supporters-are-mad-and-theyre-not-going-to-take-it-anymore/
I do like what the fellow puma’s wrote
in her interview.
poster #546 – that article simply references the Daily News article and the video of clinton was taken after the Daily News printed the article and had an “unidentified source”. i felt that clinton’s words trumped whatever unidentified source the newspaper had. whether clinton knew more than she wanted to reveal and whether this source and that report are indeed accurate will only be revealed in time. for now, for me, i feel like i can only use my best judgement and clinton’s own words at a very recent gathering supercede anything else.
alice rodham puma – no apologies needed for shouting, at least for me. perfect post.
#551 Alice Rodham Puma We are going to keep it together and we will continue to fight. You’re right, what else could Jeremy say? This is far bigger than Hillary, it’s about corruption in our own Party. I am still fighting, I just faxed Dean and Pelosi and I will continue to do so.
#525 ladyhawkke
And this is the same guy in Hillary’s Web…talking about sending him emails and suggestions, uh!
Letter to National Convention Delegates and Committee Members
by Jeremy Kennedy8/3/2008 3:10:57 PMDear National Convention Delegates and Committee Members,
As this letter goes out, we are three weeks away from the Democratic National Convention in Denver. For many months, you have worked tirelessly to ensure that the values we share and the issues we know to be important are reflected in the President that we elect. On behalf of Senator Clinton and the entire campaign – thank you!
Today, Senator Barack Obama sent a letter to the chairs of the Credentials Committee expressing his desire to see the delegations of Florida and Michigan seated at the Convention with full votes. In response to Senator Obama’s letter, Senator Clinton has issued the following statement:
“During the campaign, I strongly advocated for the Democratic Party to seat the Florida and Michigan delegation with their full votes. The Democratic Party has always stood up for the principle of counting every person’s vote. Today, Senator Obama has requested that the Credentials Committee give Florida and Michigan delegates their full votes. This is the right position for the Democratic Party and for the country and I urge the Credentials Committee to restore full votes to Florida and Michigan delegates.”
To read Senator Obama’s letter, please go to: http://www.hillaryclinton.com/credentials.
Over the weekend, in Ohio, the Platform Drafting Committee met to discuss and give voice to Democrats from across the county who shared the issues that are important to them in town hall meetings over the last few weeks. The Drafting Committee will issue a draft to go before the entire Platform Committee next weekend in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. We will give you an update on the progress of the platform later in the week.
I have heard from many of you by email or phone over the last few weeks, and I look forward to meeting you in person on the floor in Denver. Please feel free to call the Delegate Hotline at (703) 469-2008 ext. 1075 or email us at delegate@hillaryclinton.com with any questions or concerns.
Once again – Thank you!
Sincerely,
Jeremy Kennedy

Good point. As I saiud before and will say again – until the convention is over it ain’t over. I think Hillary made it clear what she wants in the video. You certainly can’t go by what the campaign folks say or anyone else for that matter, except Hillary and even then I would have doubts.
Just be patience, the convention is almost here. Don’t get off track or upset
. Let be fouced and work on getting Hillary nominated.
Boy there is a lot of energy here today, sure feels good
.
#513… MURPHY.. WHAT A WONDERFUL ARTICLE… THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO… MY COMMENT ON THE ARTICLE:
I must admit that I was not a Hillary Clinton supporter from the start… seems that I was influenced by the press and their dirty dealings in the beginning… I was not an Obama supporter either… John Edwards was my choice. Well the field was cleared and Hillary and Obama were the choices. I found myself in a quandry and wondered which o ne? I started doing my research and found that the press was so gung ho on Obama that the hairs on my neck stood up as a warning… hmmmmmmm … every time I did not listen to that little voice I got in trouble… so, wow…. YouTube became such a big deal that the press had to report the Rev. Wright issue… oh boy, now I knew why I had the hair on the back of my head stood up. I knew that I was listening to a politician who had learned over 20 years how to sway people to his point of view. I was right… a politician with emotional appeal and nothing else… Change… what change? Never any substance to his speeches. No knowledge of how to make the changes. I cannot and will not support Obama…
I am proud to a PUMA and I am proud of Hillary Clinton and her courage in the face of the sexist and biased Main Stream Media. I have stopped watching CNN as a result of Wolfe Blitzer and Donna Brazile, esp. her race baiting ways and their calling for her to leave the race before all the votes were counted. I deplore MSNBC and their sexist and mysogenist commentators.
When will this country come to its senses and see what is really happening… probably when enough of us PUMA’s point it out to them. They will never silence the voices of the people… we are the backbone of America.
As one eloquent black woman wrote on one of the other blogs (she is a disinfranchised voter from Michigan): My roots are not in Africa, my ancestors were, my neighbors roots are not in Europe, their ancestors where, my roots are in America. I am a person of color, but I am a American I am not an African and make no mistake my loyalties lie with America Rev. Wright. I do not wish to separate myself nor my family from America I do not wish to see a black America and white America and yellow America and brown America.
I AM AN AMERICAN!!!! I am a PUMA!!!! and I am proud to scream both those phrases
anyways just wanted to know if one could take this petition to the UN as well or something – some international body. I mean like the UN (i think) has this body that checks up on voter fraud and watches the elections and sends in independent observers to certain countries where theres a threat of voter fraud and corrupt elections. don’t know tho. anyways keep fighting pumas
lol reading the article and this made me laugh:
Regarding Murphy:
She contends that the letters that provoked the angry responses from DNC officials were all “civil, polite, non-threatening.” What provoked the DNC officials, she contends, is when they “got 300 [of them].”
#542 BillieJo Well said. Hillary cannot be the driving force behind the effort.
Pumas, she has a tightrope to walk (so what’s new?)
Let’s try to understand the sensitivity, work diligently and stealthily, and try not to make things harder for “our girl”.
Whoa! Chill! Everyone Chill!
First, Hillary have to say what she has to say, she invested years together with President Bill Clinton to REBUILD the Democratic Party. When Bill Clinton became President in 1992, the democratic party was in tatters worse than a kitchen rag. Bill and Hillary Clinton work so hard to rebuild the party. I understand why HRC said it, please don’t begrudge her, it is now in our hand to take over and run with the ball. As the blog of PUMA PAC said, “Thank you Hillary Clinton, We’ll Take It From Here.” Our quarterback was INTENTIONALLY disabled by the same team member, time for us to stand up and PUNISH the OFFENDER, and that is NOBAMA with the help of team owner, the DNC.
#556 Beca4Hillary He did ask me if I was a delegate when I called. Let’s just drop this whole topic and move on to something more productive!

That article is ObamaHype. Notice that they are quoting and “insider” and someone “close to the New York Senator”. But they never say which NY Senator, or even if it is a US or State senator. They have been hyping that trash all over the place. They are desperate.
it will NEVER be over…i’m waiting for the lady in the blue pant suits and after she does her thing Murphy will lead us on to victory with OR without my Hillary!!
Waiting for the prowl…got my PURR ready to go into hyperdrive for my girl!!
I WANT MY HILLARY!!! I will never stop people, and I will never give up hope. Without it I couldn’t be me
HILLARY HILLARY HILLARY….can you hear them chanting in the hall. HILLARY HILLARY HILLARY…can you hear them screaming in the streets of Denver. HILLARY HILLARY HILLARY…can you hear her name over hill and over dale. HILLARY HILLARY HILLARY…can you see her in the white house?
I CAN! I can see her, I can hear us, and I can keep fighting. It may not be much, but it’s all I’ve got.
PUMA power!!
#557 FLGirl If he does pick Evan Bayh, what does everyone think of his choice? Good or bad?
Has anyone else noticed that lately HObo has a frown on all the time. Is he trying to look thoughtful, pensive, pondering, or like he is carrying all our hopes and dreams forward. Poor dear. I just think he need to recognize his walking eagle status.
The Dalily Gallup is running at typical values, 46% BO and 43% McCain.
Bo’s search for a VP makes me think of the army poster ‘I WANT YOU’–I think at this point he will take whomever he gets….
Can you IMAGINE working with that man? I would rather lick clean the floors of bathrooms–and I mean that!
florida poster – the link is to an article written by someone who is making a prediction. there’s a lot of stuff out there, researched articles, blogs, opinion pieces, u-tubes. it’s a lot to sort through to figure out what’s established face and what falls into some other category. anyway, for me, no matter who he picks for vp, it doesn’t change anything as far as my vote goes. but thanks for posting. just want to send out a word of caution because there is so much out there on the internet that’s related to politics and i think it’s important to be a discerning consumer of “information”.
#547 ladyhawkke on 08.04.08 at 1:18 pm
First things first.
Everyone in the Obama camp is hoping we will toss in the towel. Giving into the presumed endgame of loss will make it come true if you concede and give up. The party ain’t over until the lady in the pant suit walks away.
I will not give up, I will keep fighting until the end of the convention. Believe me, I will be one very angry PUMA at the end of the convention if she is not put in nomination. But I will at least know I gave it all I could and didn’t stop trying.
There are too many people out there working to help her and I would like to see more optimism on this site.
It is difficult enough to keep going against these odds, but keeping up hopes under all this gloom makes it more difficult.

570 virginia.puma
No, he’s listening to his ear mic that I think is in his left ear…watch how he “tilts” his head before speaking….
I do not feel Evan Bayh will have much effect on the election. Those who are not going to vote for BO, will not be persuaded by Bayh, and those who will vote for BO would vote for him no matter who he picked as VP. This would give me a little insight in to his chances in VA now, and maybe who McCain might pick.
Sorry I posted twice, but there was a big gray square over part of the post. Do you guys see it too?
Got this from Hillary’s site. If already posted, my apologies

_____________________–yep. It may do him well to continue to consider the VA pic
I actually feel Evan Bayh is kind of boring, so BO would not have to worry about him stealing the chosen ones spotlight.
Based soley on his proposals, and the fact that he is representing the Democratic Party, my conscience dictates I vote for McCain.
Apparently, Hillary really doesn’t have the political
strength to stand for the Party except to support Obama. At some point I have to come to an acceptance of that fact. It’s the choice she made, for whatever reason, but our founding fathers stood against such tyranny. This country could never have come into being any other way.

PUMA-article and one on BO’s second-language BS
That’s a great articles about PUMAs in PajamasMedia that Murphy put a link to (in post 513)
They have another article in that website that might be of interest to us PUMAs. It’s about BO’s statement about that we should all learn Spanish and how embarrassing it is that when we go to Europe (France) all we can say is “merci beaucoup.”… (making us feel bad that we don’t speak a second language well).
The author feels that BO has some wrongheaded views about this whole matter.

===============================
I am not giving up even after the convention. This corrupt DNC needs to be stopped!!! If by chance, Hillary is the nominee…it won’t be because of the DNC.
We will have work for years to come!!!
From the Audacity Watch
http://audacitywatch.com/?page_id=46
Obama displays the following behaviors, which are among the hallmarks of pathological narcissism:
Subtly misrepresents facts and expediently and opportunistically shifts positions, views, opinions, and “ideals” (e.g., about campaign finance, re-districting). These flip-flops do not cause him overt distress and are ego-syntonic (he feels justified in acting this way). Alternatively, refuses to commit to a standpoint and, in the process, evidences a lack of empathy.
Ignores data that conflict with his fantasy world, or with his inflated and grandiose self-image. This has to do with magical thinking. Obama already sees himself as president because he is firmly convinced that his dreams, thoughts, and wishes affect reality.
Additionally, he denies the gap between his fantasies and his modest or limited real-life achievements (for instance, in 12 years of academic career, he hasn’t published a single scholarly paper or book).
Feels that he is above the law, including and especially his own laws.
Talks about himself in the 3rd person singular or uses the regal “we” and craves to be the exclusive center of attention, even adulation.
Have a messianic-cosmic vision of himself and his life and his “mission”.
Sets ever more complex rules in a convoluted world of grandiose fantasies with its own language (jargon).
Displays false modesty and unctuous “folksiness” but unable to sustain these behaviors (the persona, or mask) for long. It slips and the true Obama is revealed: haughty, aloof, distant, and disdainful of simple folk and their lives.
Sublimates aggression and holds grudges.
Behaves as an eternal adolescent (e.g., his choice of language, youthful image he projects, demands indulgence and feels entitled to special treatment, even though his objective accomplishments do not justify it).
The narcissistic leader prefers the sparkle and glamour of well-orchestrated illusions to the tedium and method of real accomplishments. His reign is all smoke and mirrors, devoid of substances, consisting of mere appearances and mass delusions. In the aftermath of his regime – the narcissistic leader having died, been deposed, or voted out of office – it all unravels. The tireless and constant prestidigitation ceases and the entire edifice crumbles. What looked like an economic miracle turns out to have been a fraud-laced bubble. Loosely-held empires disintegrate. Laboriously assembled business conglomerates go to pieces.
Mountain–let’s only talk Hillary for 3 weeks. I believe in the power of positive thinking PLUS action. LOTS AND LOTS OF ACTION. EVERY SINGLE PUMA get out there and shake your puma power. Write, call, post flyers, have a fund raising party…GROWL girls and boys don’t PURR. GROWL for the girl!!
note to self: keep positive because the tears keep coming whenever there is a whiff of something in the air that speaks to the girl not getting the nod. don’t give in to your fears, keep strong!
#576 Billie Jo Sorry Fellow Pumas. Didn’t mean to upset anyone. Murphy, just delete my post #547. As I said, I have not given up the fight and will continue to fight. I only posted what I was told and sorry if it was out of line.
ok everyday the same people come here and one minute they’re up, next thet’re down, one minute Hillary is a go, next it’s McCain. It’s becoming a drag.
What exactly were you expecting her office to say, for all they know you could be a Bo spy.
For me, it’s Hillary to Denver, my support is strong enough to carry me til then
#557 ladyhawkke Bayh was the safest, most logical choice. Not particularly exciting, but an attempt to reach out to Hillary supporters. Former Gov., Sen., with some foreign policy cred.
Bayh has the “Central Casting” American family that BO claims he lacks.
What he doesn’t bring is that Fighter Spirit. He seems very mild and collegial. BO’s gonna need a boatload of pit bulls to stave off what’s comin’.
McCain’s commitment to America got him torture and imprisonment as a P.O.W. That speaks volumes to his character. I daresay Obama would cower at the possibilty of that happening to him.
#586 MountainSong
As the old saying goes, “Evil Flourish when good people do nothing.” We’re not enablers, COUNTRY BEFORE PARTY.
trish – go girl! wish we lived near each other and could hand out fliers together. gotta go out all by myself. (sniff)
Okay, sounds like we are all back on track and waiting for a new prowl. Any ideas how we can reach Fla and Mich delegates to try and get them in on signing the petition for Hillary. I remember they are not just trying to get 300 signatures they are trying for 600.
Does anyone remember their link?
Ladyhawke
AFAIC, this is not about Hilary at all. I don’t care what she wants or what she says. It’s my vote that was stolen.
it’s my vote that I want restored. I’ll work for it as long as I can.

I’ve been noticing his frown lately too, and his speech pattern.
A dose of reality maybe? realizing that he won’t make it? that lies, etc., etc., etc., beget failure? Trying to figure out which rock to hide under on November 5th?
Oh, he and all his minions will be so embarassed!
Hillary in 2008. Hillary wins in Denver. This is our goal, this is what we must do. Her office can not reply with anything other than the DNC party response, so do not even call them. We heard what Hillary wants, she wants her name in nomination. Please do not be discouraged. BO is losing ground to McCain, the more of that than happens, the better the chances for delegates to change their minds. GO HILLARY!!! HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT IN 2008.
#597 BillieJo Is it lobbydelegates.com? I know I’ve used that before but a lot of those e-mails bounced back. The other website that has supers on it is congress.org
OK, no more FOX. They just reported that Obama has made great inroads to convincing Hillary voters to vote for him.

Fox is talking about Bo giving Hillary at least the opportunity to turn down VP position. Right of first refusal. But…he has made great strides in bringing in Hillary supporters on his side.
So remember your mission – military verbage – select your battles…I don’t know who she is, but one Hillary supporter said to choose the timing.
Juan said BO needs Hillary!!!
Gypsy #610,
Obama will never offer Clinton the VP slot, that is what occurred in 1960. Kennedy offered Johnson the VP slot fully expecting him to turn it down. He didn’t!

Frankly, NOBAMA can have the Pope as his VP, I wouldn’t vote for him.
Is the information about Hillary coming from one phone call? This week end we have really done alot of work and made our voices heard. Obama is getting nervous and so is the DNC. ALl of a sudden Obama is reaching out to Hillary as VP. This is all c**p. We MUST stay focused and continue our prowls. I am sure after video of fundraiser came out Obama and DNC were not real happy. So I am sure Hillary got called on it. Anyway, lets wait for a formal statement and continue moving forward. We have worked so hard and people are listening. They want us to fold……we can’t and won’t

ARLINGTON, VA – Today, McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds issued the following statement on Barack Obama’s latest ad – “Pocket”:
“Barack Obama’s latest negative attack ad shows his celebrity is matched only by his hypocrisy, after all it was Senator Obama, not John McCain, who voted for the Bush-Cheney energy bill that was a sweetheart deal for oil companies. Also not mentioned is the $400,000 from big oil contributors that Barack Obama has already pocketed in this election.”

wHEN HE SAYS Territories, what does he mean? are there 6 territories.
Don’t understand

As much as I despise BO, in the interest of truth, I offer the following :
His statement is referring to the 50 states and six U.S. Territories and Outlying Areas as seen on the following government site. So it’s not clear due to his poor use of the English language, however it does seem to refer to both states and territories. That does not, however, explain why he has previously referred to the 57 states in speeches with no mention whatsoever to territories etc.
U.S. Territories and Outlying Areas

LOL! Thanks for the responses. Still think he needs to be specific in what this number represents in his statements… and quite frankly… I’m not completely convinced he knows what he’s referring to… so how can he communicate effectively to us?
Because of Pelosi’s bullheaded action to adjourn the House of Reps without doing a damn thing about the energy relief we need I shall, then, relieve myself (uh, right) with these money saving ideas:
1. Stop payments on my car insurance
2. Park the van as an unregistered vehicle and shift to my museum beauty of only 30,000 miles with roll-down windows– a 1998 Ford Escort . Impliment fake stickers to save more money (I used to do that for years when I was young and poor and daring. I may be 54 and retired now… but still find excitement in life by daring it). Van used as a back-up. Will dare to use it if necessary.
3. Eat beans, rice and chicken livers more often and less sirloin and salmon. No more brand names either like Fruity Pebbles and Starkist; non generic products instead. Definitely no more wine.
3. An occasional meal at a fine restaurant is still okay, but without a beverage. Free water, please. That’s better.
5. Go back to the good old days by hand washing my clothes and hanging them out to dry on a clothes line in the back yard. That’s going to be soooooo cool again. Get to meet the neighbors that way.
6. No I won’t get rid of the cat
7. Will withdraw my marriage proposal to a beautiful young woman I met recently.
8. Buy toilet paper in bulk. Have added a Sears catalogue to my bathroom cabinet.
9. No more donations to Hillary Clinton’s party (wait I’ve already done that one). Umm, make that… will demand my money back with a bow and arrow, OR ELSE.
10. Window shop for kicks. Go malling only with coupons.
11. Don’t tell cashier she gave me the wrong amount of change in my favor.
There. It’s a start.
Just goes to show you… who needs government when you’ve got a mind like mine.
Goodbye, Ms. Pelosi. And don’t bother coming back. I don’t need good for nothings like you.

Murphy….
One post on CNN says you are no better than Obama and PUMAS are PUMAbots.
I left my first post as a proud Pumabot as long as democracy is restored to the electoral process.
Here it is:
NotFallingInLine.org August 4th, 2008 10:40 am ET
Bill Clinton isn’t a racist? There’s a news flash…
And yet Darragh Murphy is no better than Barack Obama.
The question is: Are Pumas not better than Obamabots?
After all they’ve done, are Pumas really nothing but Pumabots?
You decide.

Subject: FW: Obama fundraiser in Houston
DG:
The Houston Chronicle reported Obama raised more than $1.5M for himself and the democratic party in one night in Houston. We had success with below email but we need to make sure our donors know we aren’t going to get any help national republicans and that’s why we are pushing so hard on fundraising.
Thanks,
Rob
Dear Rob,
Rick Noriega and his trial lawyer friends are rolling out the red carpet tonight for Barack Obama.
The AP reports Obama “heads to Houston for two high-dollar private fundraisers.”
One event host is mega-trial lawyer, and close confidante of Rick Noriega, Richard Mithoff who held a fundraiser for Noriega just last month.
Noriega is sure to be there, pledging his undying devotion to the most liberal member of the United States Senate.
Please click here now to donate to John Cornyn, a real representative of Texas values.
It will send a loud and clear message to Rick Noriega and all his deep-pocketed liberal buddies…Texas values are not for sale!
Obama is the latest national, big-money Democrat to embrace Rick Noriega.
Senator Chuck Schumer, head of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, said in a recent press release that Noriega “has a real shot this November.”
The man who refuses to allow a vote on giving Texans real relief at the pump, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said recently, “This is the year. Rick is the candidate to defeat John Cornyn and finally turn Texas back from Red to Blue once again.”
Noriega recently traveled to Washington D.C. to plead his case to big money Democrats to invest in his campaign.
He spent the next weekend hob knobbing with high dollar Democrat donors on Martha’s Vineyard.
Texans deserve a Senator that represents them and their values, not one beholden to east coast, elitist, ivy league liberals.
Click here to contribute to a real Texan who represents real Texas values…John Cornyn.
Texans need someone who is more concerned with lowering gas prices and reducing America’s dependence on foreign oil than they are with filling their campaign coffers.
John Cornyn is just that man. Please contribute $15, $25 or $50 now to make sure Texas values are represented in Washington.
Sincerely,
Rob Jesmer, Campaign Manager
U.S. Sen. John Cornyn
ok I am at home lets see if I can post now.

1. YES! A PETITION BY HILLARY’S DELEGATES TO PUT HER NAME INTO NOMINATION
By right, the DNC should place into nomination the name of any candidate who brings delegates to the Democratic National Convention. However, we have come to realize that the DNC has taken on an anti-democratic identity, to its disgrace, so supporters of Senator Clinton are forced to become supplicants.
OK. If that’s how ‘they’ want it…they’ll get it, along with the resolve of the Clinton delegates to see her nominated as the only electable Democrat. For many this is no pro forma.
And we are reminding the Super Delegates that we are holding them responsible for nominating the only electable Democrat, Hillary Clinton.
If you are a HRC delegate, or if you know HRC delegates, please contact hrc300delegates@yahoo.com, ASAP! For more information, please contact Sue Castner 503-203-1027 womenvote2008@gmail.com, or John West 312-399-4458 jwlandscapesllc@gmail.com
