Obama says he opposes slavery reparations, apology
AP – 49 minutes ago

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama opposes offering reparations to the descendants of slaves, putting him at odds with some black groups and leaders.

Funny, that!

The only one who seems to be racist IS..

OBAMA!! heh!

(great stuff deadgirl) :-)

#6 ladyhawkke on 08.02.08 at 10:07 am

Hope he never plays the race card again but that is wishing for too much. He is beginning to self-implode and with the lawsuit against him for lying on his bar application and people looking into the mystery of his BC, I’m getting ready to say Madame President!

Repost from Downstairs

Good Morning Pumas,

A note this morning, if you have your own blog that utilizes Sitemeter, check your blog to make sure it is functioning. Sitemeter’s servers failed last night and millions of blogs and websites with Sitemeter Icons are causing failures in Internet Explorer and unable to open. If your site is affected, you can remove the sitemeter html code on your site and it will resolve the problem. You’ll just have to reinstall later.

OK, new article this morning:
Corsi book soars to number #1, Widespread Reports Of Bookstore Employees Supporting Obama Failing To Stock Shelves.

Good Morning PUMAs

We need to use this video some day – it’s really from the heart. It was posted somewhere here yesterday. It makes you want to wave the American Flag.

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=johnrf77&search_type=&aq=f

#15 jrhed on 08.02.08 at 10:22 am

Yes, the 7/16 date of the post when we launched the initiative. We update the superdelegate emails every 3 days. I am also looking into providing the script so that other sites can have the form on their website and reach more people. I’m just waiting to hear back to see if the vendor is going to increase my costs and to see how many sites they will allow to have the form. Hopefully, I will hear back today or Monday.

How and where do we get information about Bo and his bar application? Is it creditable?

Rasmussent today, still a 1 point lead for bambi, but McCains favorables still higher and yesterday they reported a 10 point advantage for McCain in unfavorable ratings. The favorable/unfavorable are typically indicators of how the undecided vote will break down.

#11 cvj that is the funniest thing I ever read. People are so clever!

#19 john on 08.02.08 at 10:27 am

Hillary has a lot of respect for her supporters and delegates she talks about respecting her supporters and delegates. I am sure if she gets enough letters from her supporters expressing their will to have there vote fo her at the convention she will accept having her name place in nomination. The DNC would have no other choice if enough letters are sent she could present them to make the case these are to many voters to ignore and if I don’t accept Obama loses and the party loses. We need a join writing Campaign with all her blogs supporters and get 200,000-500,000 leters sent on that issue

#20 wontbackdown on 08.02.08 at 10:28 am

Someone needs to really GET THE MESSAGE ACROSS TO OBAMA, THE DNC AND DELEGATES:

He IS NOT qualified to be President because:

1) Voters cannot trust his “positions” on anything because he has NO RECORD to support them

2) He is grossly arrogant (grossly immature)

3) His life-long associations with extremists define his underlying ideologies (people are not stupid)

4) He his Old-School Washington Politics – he bullied, bought and bribed his way to selection as the nominee (that is his history as a dirty tricks politican)

5) Our country is in DEEP TROUBLE (it needs maturity, trustworthiness and EXPERIENCE)

6) He is NOT who Mainstream America wants to put its trust in as a President in these VERY FRAGILE TIMES

And those are the reasons he WILL NOT GET OUR VOTES OR BE ELECTED

WHY CAN’T YOU GET IT, DNC?

STOP SHOVING YOUR “TOP FUNDRAISER” DOWN OUR THROATS AS PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL!

#21 cjv on 08.02.08 at 10:29 am

I read it twice, it even funnier the second time I read it! lol

#22 jrhed on 08.02.08 at 10:29 am

#12 Lady,
Also, we do break down the emails in blocks of around 10-15 addresses so that they are not picked up by spambots that will block the emails. Also, there are currently 8-10 Supers who we do not remove from the list. Ickes, Brazille, Pelosi, Reid, Obama (that one is for s & grins) Dean, and a few others.

#23 ladyhawkke on 08.02.08 at 10:30 am

#16 1gypsy4mc I’ve already written to the attorney; however, I do not think it is a good idea to bombard him with e-mails. I expect him to answer my e-mail and once he does, I will definitely post it here.

#22 jrhed Thanks for the info.

Did anyone watch Bill Moyers last night on:

“The Abramoff Lobbying Scandal”
(The dark side of American politics — a web of relationships, secret deals and political manipulation)

It’s based on the book “The Wrecking Crew”

Carl Rove was an intricate player in the above story.

If you want to see the “Rove-Brazile relationship” model and how she and the DNC maneuvered Obama’s “selection” — just watch or read this story and you will see the whole “Obama-Game” in all of its dirty, crooked political glory.

It’s all just too much – to see the Democratic Party-Obama Ruse in the mirror of this story.

Good morning PUMAs

Today is a new day!

John had a great idea in #19. While we’re waiting for Murpuma to get our prowl on, here’s a suggestion.

Use the text and edresses and fax # from the Hillary prowl we emailed/faxed to Hillary yesterday. I challenge 5 PUMA sister sites and have them join us in letting Hillary know “She’s the one that we want!”

Imagine her *Monday* morning when she gets hundreds of thousands of notes of support. :)

The blogroll is on the JSND website and ours. Come back and brag with the names of the sites you visited!

Let’s POUNCE!

Thanks for that link. I often watch PBS but have been so busy lately……..at the computer………on a particular blog site………doing prowls between work and other chores…. :-)

#29 Sunshinelvr on 08.02.08 at 10:54 am

I am listening to Ed Hale…he has Rev Manning on there (I willnot comment on that .but…) there is a representative that called up and she said the “party” leaders told her that if she did not support obama , there would be NO support from the rest of the party for her when she needed re-election or anything else. Even RevManning said that he has endured a lot of arm-twisting from people telling him that he is going to be on the wrong side of history if he does not stop talking about obama and start supporting him.he says “they” keep telling him that he is going to lose support for his mininstries and in his personal life if he doesn’t “get on board”…

#30 Sunshinelvr on 08.02.08 at 10:56 am

Really, though, how naive can all these people be? I mean, if they band together and “just say no deal”(as we have) we can beat the thuggery and deceit that is going on

#31 Sunshinelvr on 08.02.08 at 10:58 am

#28 cjv… After watching it last night it all finally dawned on me…

Obama is the to the DP what Jack Abramoff was to the GOP – Big Money, Back Room Deals and Guaranteed White House access for: Special Interest Groups, Big Business and underwriting democratic candidates elections to guarantee majority democratic contol.

Yeah, that game-book really worked for America these last eight years, didn’t it?

Since we can’t say “Monkey” anymore how about:

“Snake SEE, Snake DO”

#30 Sunshinelver Just had to come back and take a peek! I’ve been posting that for weeks now. It will only take one Dem to show some guts and say they aren’t going to be strong-armed. The black delegate, John Lewis, was browbeaten until he came out and endorsed Obama. It really hurt the Clintons as they are good friends. It’s amazing what one skinny guy, Dean, Pelosi and Reid are able to do to everyone. Where is our hero who will stand up to put this kind of thuggery down?

NOBAMA has lost his credibility, this man cried for wolf too many times I care to count. He told his supporters before end of primary he will vote against FISA, guess what he had done, he VOTED FOR it while Hillary stick to her words, she voted against it. When NOBAMA gave a speech last year (he was introduced by Chris Rock) in Apollo Theatre, he told his audience he will create a special federal commission to focus on blacks. I’ve read in another article NOBAMA actually wanted reparation for slavery and now he flipflops again.

EMPTY SUIT will say ANYTHING to cater whoever listening to his canned speeches at that moment, then change again depending what audience he wanted to entice and lied to.

#36 Sunshinelvr on 08.02.08 at 11:07 am

speaking of chris rock..isn’t he the comedian that talks about “whitey doing his sistah in the trailer park?” obama did not distance himself from that …I am glad that McCain does not engage in the “racial” stuff…it is so juvenile anyway to yell “racist ” everytime one hears something one disagrees with.

It is the Rove-Brazile-Obama game we have been seeing unfolding in this election.

#38 slyt2 on 08.02.08 at 11:17 am

#36 Sunshinelvr chris rock and BO are friends??? Chris Rock is the one who always refers to white people as crackers. I didn’t know that he introduced Bo. I’m telling you his “friends” are just wonderful people.

Considering all the people like farrakhan, meeks, davis , ayers ,ad nauseaum, why one more “controversial” person added to his list shoul not surprise us..but it is just another slap in the face that he thinks he can be POTUS while surrounding himself with people like these. The more we learn the more we realize that it is VITALLY important that we keep fighting.

#40 Genevieve on 08.02.08 at 11:30 am

Jrhed,

Thanks for the link. I emailed the Supers and this was my comment:
Please consider this petition as I oppose Senator Obama’s candidacy to become POTUS because he does not have the qualifications nor experience to be commander in chief nor lead us through these difficult times.
During the debates, he was always searching for his inner voice and simply copied and created his own agenda after Senator Clinton had elaborated on her plans. I also witnessed how the DNC and the MSM were mistreating Senator Clinton and how MSM tried to avoid exposing most scandals created by Senator Obama himself through various personal affiliations and lack of judgement throughout his life as a citizen and as a senator who has had an inconsistent voting record. I watched the most scandalous and fraudulent primary process in the history of America. I thought I was alone to perceive this, but I quickly realized I was not. I sent our party countless letters and emails to inform you how I felt. When the party continued with its cover ups and shenanigans, I informed you that I had switched my affiliation to Independent and became a P.U.M.A.P.A.C member in the first week of the blog’s inception. I am an American and have always been proud of my country and stood by it throught thick and thin. I believe that you have the ability to restore the faith in our democracy by making sure Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton IS the democratic nominee. I will exercise my right to vote and I shall remember in November!

#41 Sunshinelvr on 08.02.08 at 11:31 am

Barack Obama: “The Pandering Man”

I would not say Barack has taken anything off the table, in the reports, he takes the talk from reparations to doing other things with education. His advisors, among them William Ayers, push the concept of Education debt… you can learn more about it from this astute Barack Obama observer, Steven Diamond

http://globallabor.blogspot.com/2008/05/does-obama-support-reparations.html

I suggest bookmarking his Blog if your sympathies are to the left, yet you want to know a lot more about these Obama mysteries. Steven Diamond is not afraid of Chicago, thats for sure, even though he has been viciously attacked by the “authoritarian left”.

#54 MJT on 08.02.08 at 12:15 pm

I check the Taylor Marsh web site and read the posts periodically. I keep reading all the hate directed at PUMA. So, as a life long Democrat that will vote for many Republicans including McCain this fall, I was curious about PUMA and what it is all about. I’m certainly not a disgruntle Democrat because Hillary lost. I don’t know if the Democratic Party has always been corrupt or I’ve always been naive about their main goal being all about Democracy. I supported Hillary in the primaries because she was the most intelligent and strongest candidate. Obama would have been my last choice of all the candidates. My problem is the DNC, their corrupt caucuses and superdelegates. My problem isn’t even with Obama, although he is not qualified to be president far too immature and inexperienced (just like another George Bush) for me.

After seeing elected politicians go against the majority of their constituent’s vote and give Obama their endorsement is what turned me sour on the Democratic Party. That, and the corrupt way the DNC buddy system selected their own candidate over the people’s choice. I also was disgusted at the media bias against everyone but Obama. I hope the DNC leaders don’t think all Democrats will fall in line and support the Democratic candidate just because they happen to be a Democrat.

I find it very hard to believe all the poll information the media is throwing at us. It’s obvious how bias the media is against anything anti Obama, or any questions raised about his qualifications or past. In my District there are about 200 thousand Democrats (that’s a rough guess). I’ve worked for many years for Democrats in this District and never has there been as much animosity against a Democratic candidate for president. The majority will vote for local and state Republicans running for office or vote out any incumbent no matter what party they represent. Most of us have a problem with the so called polls wonder how much bias they use complying their polls. Can’t imagine the polls being anything other than bias. I’m one of those that won’t have to hold my nose to vote for McCain. He is against pork barrel spending and his background is out there for all to see. Obama can use all the rhetoric he wants to paint McCain as another Bush but I don’t buy it.

Here’s a news tidbit that made me chuckle. Fox was talking about how BO started to suffer a drop in the polls the day he returned from his magical mystery tour. The news person asks, “BO and McCain are in a complete tie in the polls, so what’s going on?” The response was, “I think BO’s problem is that once he returns to home and the more the people find out about him — he tends to hemorrhage voters.”

LOL! I love that last phrase he used.

Hi PUMAs

Just replied to a donation request from Ellen Malcolm, President of Emily’s List asking for support of female Democratic candidates, with the following letter:

Ms. Ellen Malcom,

Where was the leadership for Emily’s List during the Democratic primaries when Hillary needed help???

I’ll tell you where – speaking up in support of the self-proclaimed, female-demeaning, messiah Obama. I have NO respect for your leadership or your organization and will support the candidates I feel worthy of my financial support (such as Rep. Stephanie Tubbs-Jones) on my own.

For an organization which is supposed to be about women, turning on your own was the ultimate, despicable act of betrayal – something I and millions more won’t forget in November.

As a life-long Democrat, I’m proud to say I’m now a FREE registered Independent voter and intend to remain that way until the idiots running (not leading) the Democratic party are replaced with competent leaders, who truly believe in democracy and put the will of the majority above their selfish, entitled greed and pretense.

Take my name off your list if you don’t want me to waste your postage money. I take enormous pleasure now in replying to these requests for donations to a party to which I no longer belong.

Insincerely,

Just thought I’d share.

#69 RoseCityfriend on 08.02.08 at 1:15 pm

jrhed, thanks for posting your email initiative again. #10, I just sent my emails to the SDs and added my comment that I would ALSO not vote for re-election of any of my superdelegates who endorsed Obama before the primary (my state did vote for Obama, so I personally am not critical of those who endorsed Obama AFTER the election here since that seemed to be the will of the people here) and who don’t support a democratic process at the Convention, i.e. nomination of Hillary Clinton.

#67 Nevermore, just to clarify, I do believe that Ellen of Emily’s List DID support Hillary Clinton all the way through the primaries. I’m almost positive that it was her that I met at Hillary’s headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon when she even came here in May to rally on Hillary supporters and gave a short speech encouraging us to not give up yet at a time when even NARAL had stabbed Hillary in the back by endorsing Obama. So I believe Ellen has supported Obama only after Hillary told her supporters to get behind him. Of course, you and I may wish that Ellen had become a PUMA instead, but I did want to speak up that I believe that Emily’s List was a Clinton supporter till the end of the primary season. Anyone else know any different?

HOW TO CONTEST BO’S ELIGIBILITY FOR POTUS

NOT THAT I WANT CREDIT BUT…

LAST NIGHT, I POSTED HERE (#760), ON NOQUARTER, AND ON TEXASDARLIN THAT I HAD FIGURED OUT HOW TO CHALLENGE BO’S ELIGIBILITY FOR POTUS AND CAME UP WITH THIS. BRIEFLY, ASSUMING HE BECOMES THE NOMINEE, THE PARTY WILL FILE PAPERS WITH THE SECRETARY OF STATE IN EACH STATE TO GET HIM ON THE BALLOT, ACCORDING TO THAT STATE’S REQUIREMENTS, FOR EXAMPLE, WITH THE REQUISITE SIGNATURES; OR BIRTH STATUS. AT THAT POINT, CHALLENGES TO HIS ELIGIBILITY CAN BE MOUNTED WITH THE SEPARATE SECRETARIES OF STATE. I GUESS TEXASDARLIN LIKED THIS IDEA BECAUSE HE INCLUDED THIS IN HIS COLUMN TODAY – WITHOUT ATTRIBUTION.
Here are links to my prior posts.

I’m even more sure that I’m right about having met Ellen Malcolm of Emily’s List in May in Oregon, when she was actively supporting Hillary. Check out the news release page at the Emily’s List website — Ellen made press releases all the way through the primaries in support of Hillary, including after Iowa, NH, and Super Tuesday (when everyone else was fawning over Obama). http://www.emilyslist.org/news/releases/

The following is an example.

EMILY’s List Statement on Iowa Caucus
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The following is a statement from Ellen R. Malcolm, president of EMILY’s List, on the Iowa Caucus.

“Last night was only the first step in a history making presidential campaign for Senator Hillary Clinton and the country. We saw unprecedented turn-out, record breaking participation by women, and so many new people entering the process with a desire for change. We are proud to have been there every step of the way and remain confident that when all the Democrats have had their say, Hillary Clinton will emerge as the nominee. We look forward to the next step in New Hampshire and continuing on the path to victory.”

#88 4hillinca on 08.02.08 at 1:40 pm

#73 I have tried to post 5 times and been knocked off so here it goes again.
Yes she did support Hillary. However in my opinion she should of continued her support or remained neutral after watching the injustice thrown Hillary’s way by the DNC and press. To just turn from Hillary to Obama was a slap in the face to many. I will not be a part of any group or give any $ to anyone that in anyway supports Obama.

#89 2PumaSisters on 08.02.08 at 1:40 pm

Good morning Pumas,

Have not finished my puma tasks, so I must get busy. I hope it is never too late to BUG the enemy.

I have been busy helping a friend write her wedding invitations. Her first marriage and she is 62 years old.

Never TOO late.

Peace, love and lots of support for Hillary. The next POTUS.

See you all in Denver.

Today’s Wall Street Journal has excellent article on
“When Voters Lie”— great insights into how the polls we see will/do reflect the numbers we see and have seen throughout this primary season and how race is a factor…..
I don’t know the link(since we get the paper and haven’t figured out how to do that if I haven’t read it on line-(ok, I admit to needing remedial tech), but it’s in the Weekend Journal section of the Wall Street Journal ….very interesting and enlightening.

Also, I’m with Nevermore on Emily’s List…..I still think they should have stuck with Hillary even after this
primary season (or fake primary season), and gone Puma…..

#91 jenniforhillary on 08.02.08 at 1:44 pm

4hill–I totally agree :) NO one can support BO and still be on the “good” side…

Also, Ellen should have spoken out. MANY should have spoken out, and did not. I will not forget, and neither will Hillary.

I want to hear Hillary again on stage claiming what is hers, what is ours, and making herstory. America needs and wants her. ALL of my Republican friends–especially the wives–ask me constantly when is she coming back. I tell them soon, very very soon :)

#92 RoseCityfriend on 08.02.08 at 1:45 pm

#79 Jennifer, believe me, I’m not paid by Emily’s List ;-) But I do hate to see a woman who DID support Hillary privately and publicly get mixed up in our anger with the others who did not stand by Hillary. Everyone, please do check out for yourselves the news release website at Emily’s List. In May there was another one by Ellen Malcolm, criticizing NARAL for endorsing Obama.

Statement from Ellen R. Malcolm on NARAL Endorsement in the Democratic Presidential Primary
The following is a statement from EMILY’s List president Ellen R. Malcolm on NARAL’s endorsement in the Democratic presidential competition:

“I think it is tremendously disrespectful to Sen. Clinton — who held up the nomination of a FDA commissioner in order to force approval of Plan B and who spoke so eloquently during the Supreme Court nomination about the importance of protecting Roe vs. Wade — to not give her the courtesy to finish the final three weeks of the primary process. It certainly must be disconcerting for elected leaders who stand up for reproductive rights and expect the choice community will stand with them.”

ELIGIBILITY FOR POTUS

#80 ladyhawkke

Yes, this is what I was saying. Each state has eligibility requirements for getting a candidate’s name on the ballot to run for federal office, which includes President. Since BO isn’t the Democratic Party’s official nominee until after the convention, these papers to get his name on the ballots of each of the 50 states cannot be filed until that time. Each state has its own calendar requirements for submitting these ballot requests, along with deadlines for filing objections to the ‘credentials’ provided by any candidate. So, if BO takes the Party’s nomination then, people need to be ready to challenge the validity of the ballot requests the Party will be submitting in each of the 50 states, so that these objections will fall within the timetable prescribed in each state.

#94 bruce55555 on 08.02.08 at 1:47 pm

Hi all,
I hope the NObama camp realized the race card won’t work!
It just won’t. It only shows how desperate they are.

Wonder what their next crutch will be.

Murphy and all, I am so sorry I can’t participate as much as I wish lately, I’m a realtor in south Florida (ouch) not busy at all lately but this past week two prospects came up that I absolutely must work with.

I never stop talking though wherever I go, feeling the current, and in my neck of the woods (Broward County, southeast Florida) I’d say 90% of the current is still stalled with Hillary, leaning towards McCain.
The ones leaning towards NObama do seem skeptical.
Murphy thank you for all you do, thank you for being there for us and giving us a voice.

#83 4HillinCA and Jennifer, I understand why you might not want to support anyone who is now supporting Obama. I just wanted us to stick to the facts though and clear up any rumors that Ellen Malcolm hadn’t supported Hillary during the primaries. She did, and she criticized others who didn’t.

#99 4hillinca on 08.02.08 at 1:57 pm

#90 I do understand that she did support Hillary. I was a member. I applaud her for her support and for standing up for Hillary. I am not angry. I know the facts and I wil not start rumors. I am simply stating that I feel she should of stayed neutral after all the vial treatment of Hillary. Again just my opinion and I made the choice to unsubscribe. So now I need to focus on what I can do for Hillary. Lets stay united and turn this around so we can all be proud of her when she is POTUS.

#100 RoseCityfriend on 08.02.08 at 1:57 pm

#91, DWP, you’re welcome. I do want to add that I appreciated Ellen Malcolm, a bigwig if you will, coming to Beaverton Oregon in May before our primary, when Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean and the DNC was trying to impress everybody that the race was all over, to speak to a tired group of 20 or so volunteers to encourage us to get back on the phonebank and keep calling Oregon voters to encourage them to vote for Hillary. Whatever people may think of her current backing of Obama (and I suspect she’s just backing the democrat, not Obama himself), I wanted to clear up any rumors that Ellen Malcolm “wasn’t there” for Hillary when it counted. She definitely was.

RoseCityFriend,
I agree with you that Ellen did support Hillary during the primaries, however not being as vocal while she was getting attacked by some of the very Congressional candidates (Sebelius, McCaskill) that Emily’s List supports leaves me a little less than sympathetic to her cause. There was also NO necessity to come out and endorse the messiah before the convention. So for those reasons, I still can’t support this organization, or many of the candidates they support.

#103 RoseCityfriend on 08.02.08 at 2:01 pm

And yes, Jennifer and 4HillinCA, good PUMAs can and do disagree on small things, but we ARE united in our overall purpose! meow. :-)

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I didn’t get a chance to get on the computer yesterday, but I’ll go ahead and complete my prowls from yesterday. Hillary needs to hear from her supporters. I have been trying to catch up on the reading of the blogs. I have some shopping to do before my and my brother’s birthday on Monday. It still sickens me that I have the same birthday as *61. My brother is autistic and loves Spongebob, so we get to have an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen with the Spongebob theme. I have to say that I don’t know many people that get to celebrate their 31st birthday with a Spongebob cake. I get used to it because Matt loves to have his “party and presents”. Well, I’ll get back to reading.

95 RoseCityfriend

Regardless of agreeing or disagreeing with Malcolm (or anyone else for that matter), I prefer the facts. Otherwise, we spend countless hours tracking down and countering, what amounts to, rumors.

Personally, I would have preferred that Malcolm, Naral, et al. join PUMA and protest the travesty that is the DNC /RBC, primary caucus illegalities, paid off Super delegates, etc. As a result of their positions, I have withdrawn my energetic and financial support of these, and other, organizations.

#107 Lorelai on 08.02.08 at 2:07 pm

DanceswithPumas….totally agree with you….on all of the #95.
I’m a little relieved I can watch Jon Stewart again because BO is not getting a free ride anymore from him.
I like POD people (Pelosi, Obama, Dean) because they are all PoDS – they feel asleep and their bodies were taken over by outspace martians telling them Obama was the one…..Like I said, the Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the movie that scarred me for life! lol

#108 RoseCityfriend on 08.02.08 at 2:08 pm

#97 NeverMore, good points! (And I also personally wish Ellen had been neutral till after the Convention.) Thank you all for this discussion. It motivates me to send an email to Emily’s List that if her goal is to elect women candidates, then they should stick with the women candidates who stick with their OTHER women candidates. We need them and others like them to counteract candidates who are facing losing DNC money when they stick with Hillary.

#109 DancesWithPumas on 08.02.08 at 2:10 pm

If anyone is looking for something to do:

Please PICK UP THE PHONE and CALL to put extreme pressure on the NY Daily News to retract this patently false story!

DEMAND an immediate retraction of the Michael Saul story. 212-210-1565 or 212-210-2100.

The story is absolutely factually false! HRC herself advised last night at a fundraiser in CA that the truest path to true Unity for the Democratic party is to give her delegates the chance to vote for her at the convention. In order to do that, her name MUST be in nomination. She also never told her delegates
to “vote for Obama”. She said to support him, but that is not equivalent to telling them to vote for him at the convention.

Remind them that we are willing to boycott their advertisers if they do not retract this story.

Video of HRC in her own words: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8gdU_1MM44

#101, absolutely. NARAL definitely fell under the koolaid spell (although I wonder if they have revived enough to smell the under-the-bus fumes). I don’t trust the old PACs that claimed to represent women, including NOW and perhaps Emily List too. All I know is that I now only contribute to the candidates (e.g. Hillary) and organizations that I trust, like PUMA, WomenCount, the Denver Group, etc. And I will NEVER AGAIN contribute to the Democratic Party. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid cannot be counted on to do the agenda they promised they would do. I’d rather contribute to specific charity groups dedicated to my causes (e.g. civil rights, peace & justice groups, environmental groups, etc.) than give money to the DNC that they use to further their own dirty ends.

Great News Everyone,
I just heard from the Denver liaison for parade and park permits, and we have a definite parade slot on Tuesday, the 26th, between the hours of 9-11 am.
Not only that, but due to a sudden cancellation, we now have Confluence Park in downtown Denver reserved for ALL DAY on the 26th.
We’re also working with the mayor’s office to secure a spot for a rally on Monday the 25th as well.
Things are starting to come together. Let’s get the word out to everyone. E-mail our fliers to everyone you can. Let’s have a big showing for our wonderful candidate, Senator Hillary Clinton!
It’s my understanding that Will Bower (the creator of Party Unity My Ass) will be one of our speakers either on the 25th or the 26th, as well as Cindy Sheehan. Now that we have our assembly sites, we can invite more people. Any suggestions?

Just catching up on all the posts.

Re: Emily’s List, et al. I agree with many posters who feel so disappointed that Emily’s List, NARAL, and others (like the Women’s Media Center) did not remain more active and vocal after Obama anointment. I think they’ve showed incredibly lack of integrity. If these are the organizations that are specifically for advocating for women and women’s issues, it’s beyond disappointing for them to have switched to Obama when they did. They needn’t have done that. At best, they could have continued to make the case that all of us are trying to make. At worst, they could have remained silent and neutral. It’s so frustrating because those organizations have a lot of name recognition, public visibility, credibility and access to media that is hard for us to have. They could have lended so much to this movement. It’s been a real eye opener for me to see how they have behaved and, as a result, they have lost my support. Just makes you wonder what in the world is going on???

Curious – where are the rest of BO’s family? I have seen pictures of him with a half sister when they were little (his mom’s other child) and pictures of half/step brothers, and pictures of his grandparents, but have never seen/heard from any of them. Are they around?

I can’t click on “Fake Cash” at the Puma site. Do we still have it?

Just got another fat envelope from BO begging for $$ (second one in 2 days). These mailings must be costing him a fortune. Anyway, would love some Puma$$.

Monica Crowley made a bold prediction on her radio show today. In order to get the womens’ vote, BO will “become” Hillary. Start stealing her stump speech, visit with Tyra, create a lovely lime rickey with Martha Stewart, and complain about uncomfortable bloating that leaves him less than fresh on the campaign trail.

Okay, it’s sexist. But it made me laugh.

Here is a posting from another web site..

WELCOME HOME

Dear friend,

If you’ve got $250 (or more) left in your pockets after what the GOP has done to this country, please join us to give Senator Hillary Clinton a rousing Welcome Home and Job Well Done! Monies raised will go to pay down her campaign debt – especially the small vendors whom she is determined to get paid. It’s been a long and difficult campaign for all of us, but she’s been a remarkable trooper, every step of the way – never faltering, never getting discouraged, never losing her composure and her wonderful smile. She would love to see you to thank you, in person, for your great faith in her, your support, and for your hard work.

anonymous – thanks for posting that link. it’s my perspective that obama has not addressed issues about povery and the plight of blacks in america because he’s afraid that if he does so, he will lose a lot of his wealthy white support. in general, the democratic party has moved away from talking about poverty, in general, as one example that overlaps racial issues. i can recall getting questinnaires from them even several years ago that wanted me to prioritize among a list of issues what my concerns were and, contrary to the democratic party of the 1970’s and 1980’s, i didn’t even see “poverty” listed as an issue.

anyway, this issue is just one of a laundry list of issues that obama avoids because he’s just a big nothing with no vision and no guts who is simply positioning himself to win the race. there is no there, there.

what a disgrace.

glad there are those in the black community who are waking up to the fact that he doesn’t represent their interests any more than he represents ours.

just the fact that he did nothing about substandard housing in his district when he was a state senator, and then to add insult to injury, cozied up to the slumlord of those building, Tony Rezko, would be enough for anyone (one would think) to realize this man is a big nothing who is interested in his own ambition and nothing else.

I hope everyone gets a chance to read the link provided by #2 BigCatLover.http://www.thecityedition.com/Pages/Archive/Winter08/2008Election.html

I think there is a very good chance that by the time of the election, or soon after, if not during the conventions, we will finally see matial law imposed in the United States. The article in the link made me think back to the late 80’s, early 90’s when there was alot of talk going around about a “Conspiracy Theory” and I got to read alot of supporting information provided by the Washington State Militia.
This conspiracy theory states that there is an elite, select group of people who have so much money that all they crave is power. These people seek control of the entire world and hey will accomplish this through GLOBALIZATION of economy and money, and miltary.
Now most common people, especially we Americans would never go for such an idea. So in order for it to come about, certain catastrophic events need to be ‘engineered’ in order for us to want this globalization to occur. Things like the destruction of the World Trade Center, Oklahoma city bombing, Waco, etc all of which left many questions unanswered.
Today, neither major candidate appears acceptable to answer the most pressing issues we face and the coming elections may be the catalyst by which major civil unrest and disobedience, and, yes, violence across the country.
To prevent widespread anarchy, martial law will have to be imposed.
I would not be at all surprised if during this coming election season, the USA and Israel attack Iran. In order for all this globalization to occur, there has to be a resolution to the worlds’ religious differences. In order for there to be a fire there needs to be ignition.
I know all this sounds utterly fantastic and hard to believe. But, if you read the article in the above link, #2 BigCatLover, you will see how it’s all entirely possible.
Put together with certain prophecies, it scares the crap out of me and increases my belief that there is a power greater than myself to turn to when it appears that everything I have come to believe about our country, it’s politics, etc have been destroyed.
It’s all the more reason to work against Obama, and seek an alternative to McCain.
I pray that the whole theory is just that, a theory, and that none of this occurs. But it sure appears to be.

#151 kat in your hat on 08.02.08 at 3:29 pm

Anna, ya, I will bring it up as well.

Middle age: I don’t know–is it true that Olympics and politics don’t mix?

Obama’s Olympic ad buy goes mainly to NBC from what I understand (big shocker), I guess they are the main channel carrier of event? I’m not sure.

I think it’s hypocritical and tacky and unethical considering China/ Tibet, and what Obama has said to Bush.

#152 Anna7000 on 08.02.08 at 3:32 pm

kkat in your hat – that’d be a great research project: to investigate statements made by obama about chine and tibet and even the olympics, coupled with bush’s requests and then compare to obama’s current decision to advertise. hmmmm. i wonder what that would show? let me guess…..flip flopping….something hypocritical…..

#153 Seattlegirl on 08.02.08 at 3:33 pm

Personally I like it when people from other Democratic reform sites post links to their updates and actions here because I barely have time to read even this blog as I work full time in a lab where I share a computer with 10 other people and then I share my home computer with a houseful too. I know when I come here I can quickly scan and keep up with the reform groups.

#154 Anna7000 on 08.02.08 at 3:33 pm

PS since the summer olympics are always this time of year, it would also be interesting to know if other presidential candidates have advertised during the olympics (this goes more to the whole not supposed to be a political event thing, not the specifics of china). i would guess, though, that likely other candidates have advertised since the audience is so huge.

#156 kat in your hat on 08.02.08 at 3:35 pm

Hard-core Hillary supporters have always known that Obama is a gutless, ruthless, lying, and stealing politician who will do and say anything to win.

What about his supporters? The progressive highly liberal ones? Are they not totally turned off by him?

Campaign finance, lobbyists funding the Dem convention, NAFTA, FISA, expansion of faith based programs, Olympic ad buys, now drilling.

Obama has changed on every single position, like a sociopath driven only to win.

WHAT does Obama want TO DO as President??? Why does he not have a core, or a concrete platform? Why were his votes the SAME WAY as he campaigns: yes, no, maybe, all of the above, me dunno, shrug your shoulders, present, not really here nor there.

Slippery, very slippery….makes me think he has sinister goals because he doesn’t even have any now, except for winning.

#157 Anna7000 on 08.02.08 at 3:35 pm

seattle girl – i agree with you. i was only commenting on what i perceived as a provoking and defensive tone in knoxville’s post. i think it makes a lot of sense for various grassroots orgs to visit each other’s sites and post actions for people to see who might not otherwise be aware of them. it just seemed unnecessary to question the goals of this site in doing so.

Obama’s olympic ad buy is probably more of his “citizen of the world” strategy.

It’s also more of the bullying tactic he used against Hillary … vastly outspend the opponent.

But what the pundits are probably not saying is that it’s more proof of what an economic disaster Obama would be for the country. He spends money recklessly to feed his ego, just as he did when he repainted his airplane and commissioned that phony Presidential seal. He has a sickness common to people who suddenly come into unearned wealth.

If Obama became President, he would shamelessly waste our tax dollars and increase our taxes to continue feeding his ego, not put the money to good use on programs we desperately need. He will give new meaning to the phrase “tax and spend liberals.”

*************
BO supporters are saying two things as I understand it. (1) As usual, they try to change the subject to how McCain has changed his mind since 2000. (I never understood this one since a lot of things have changed since 2000, and BO changes his mind several times a day.
(2) A good president has to be able to change his mind according to circumstances, and that is a good quality in BO.

#170 DancesWithPumas on 08.02.08 at 3:44 pm

okay…so here it is:

This isn’t about promoting Murphy’s PUMA PAC.

I know we’re all on the same team, fighting for the same results. I also know that Pumas from other blogs, come by and post a notice, or other informative entry, or call to action, on occasion, and I don’t have a problem with that. What I have a problem with is posting your blog actions several times throughout every day, as if this is your blog, and we are your minions dedicated to following your lead.

I’m way over men, and their overblown sense of entitlement. Way, way, over men who usurp the work of women. I’m not happy about putting out my energy and money in support of PUMA PAC, only to have one particular male, use our resources to self-promote his actions and site. I question the reasons he isn’t developing his own blog? his own mailing list? his own regional moderators, whose fingers are worked to the bone? or posting summaries of Murphy’s PUMA PAC Actions, instead of syphoning off our energies?

AND I’ll never forgive you for calling (at any time, or any place) a woman a “bitch”, and to then have the unmitigated gall to do so on the PUMA PAC blog, about a friend of one of our hardest working and second most abused members, is beyond the pale. Anyone who reverts to misogyny over trivial matters, will also revert when confronted with weightier matters regarding women. If one can revert to sexism, one can revert to all the other isms as well, and as quickly.

In return for this behavior, that insults all women, not only have you asked us to race around the blogosphere defending verbal attacks against you, you also ask that we support your actions?

Moderator: feel free to remove this comment.

#161:

You are right, Obama does spend recklessly…the plane makeover, the make believe seal, Invesco Field, and an over-the-top European tour.

They always overspent at speech sites as well, I saw the photos of the Indiana speech in a huge gymnasium, but there were hardly any people there! It was a stunt to make it look like tons of people were there….someone walked (probably by him/ her self) up the stadium stairs opposite to his speech area, and took a photo…of the EMPTY gym, while Obama gave his speech with about 100 people behind him. Creepy wag the dog type of stuff.

#177 jenniforhillary on 08.02.08 at 3:50 pm

middle aged — I think that there is a big difference between policy re-evaluation in light of additional facts and flip flopping minute to minute because of poll numbers.

BO has not kept his word on any major policy statement, and this speaks volumes to ‘his word.” in my opinion, he can’t keep his word because we don’t even know his word. what we are hearing are just sound bites prepared by handlers to get him elected. they are doing a bad job of it if you ask me.

#178 ladyhawkke on 08.02.08 at 3:50 pm

I received this from a friend in response to the article about Obama, a disaster waiting to happen:

A simple internet search of CREDIBLE sites (including reading the United States Constitution yourself)will tell you the following regarding qualifications to be President of the United States:

· Only native-born U.S. citizens (or those born abroad, but only to parents who were both citizens of the U.S.) may be president of the United States, though from time to time that requirement is called into question, most recently after Arnold Schwarzenegger, born in Austria, was elected governor of California, in 2003. The Constitution originally provided a small loophole to this provision: One needn’t have been born in the United States but had to be a citizen at the time the Constitution was adopted. But, since that occurred in 1789, that ship has sailed.

· One must also be at least 35 years of age to be president. John F. Kennedy was the youngest person to be elected president; he was 43 years old when he was inaugurated in 1961. There is no maximum age limit set forth in the Constitution. Ronald Reagan was the oldest president; at the end of his term in 1988, he was nearly 77.

· Finally, one must live in the United States for at least 14 years to be president, in addition to being a natural-born citizen. The Constitution is vague on this point. For example, it does not make clear whether those 14 years need to be consecutive or what the precise definition of residency is. So far, however, this requirement has not been challenged.

These are the only explicit criteria in the UNITED STATES Constitution.

No state or other local governmental authority can add to or change these constitutional requirements. They cannot ask anything else and nothing else is relevant as to qualifications to run for office of President. It is a federal office and the states cannot add any state requirements or certifications.

In short- the article is nothing short of pure nonsense.

However- the parties themselves may have various processes (and a requirement of being a member of that party)for vetting candidates but cannot stop anyone for seeking the office of president

#165 DancesWithPumas

If #165 was about me – which it apparetnly was – I do not appreciate you inserting accusations about calling a woman a “bitch” it into a discussion about your petty unhappiness over the infinite amounts of work I do for us all to achieve our goals.

I assume by inserting the “bitch” accusation you are referring to my comment about Maryland PUMA’s friend, who was at a site dedicated to ripping down PUMA and Murphy, calling PUMAs cowards.

I did write “b……” but only because I was angry at what she said about all of you. Don’t worry, Maryland PUMA has already displaced all of her anger at her friend onto me for defending you all.

Btw, please keep your problem with men to yourself. The fact that I am a man is irrelevant.

BO’s “shift” on oil drilling is being reported even by the msm, although I’m watching them already spin it as BO’s wonderful ability to be practical and bipartisan. The media bias is laughable but it won’t fool environmentalists, the latest group that supported Obama to be feeling those bus tires… I just finished writing letters to my state’s sds, and I certainly included BO’s latest flipflop on oil drilling because my coastal state certainly would NOT have gone for Obama if he’d been advocating for offshore oil drilling THEN.

I personally appreciate all links and appreciate multiple reminders to do actions because I often only have enough time to scan the latest messages rather than read through the entire blog.

And yes, Nader is in the race and is a viable alternative for those who don’t want to turn to McCain.

Paypal rarely works for me. Just want Murphy to know that there are two $300 checks in the mail as of today. One for PUMAPAC and one for The Denver Group. Thank you for all you leaders are doing.

Uh, you know … uh … I just got another DNC solicitation request and … uh… uh…this one is signed by BO. In this letter, he touts his emphasis on grass roots efforts. Uh, you know, he says they are where change begins. Well, the PUMA/JSND alliance is the biggest grass roots effort currently going; what is remarkable is the way he fails to notice us. Could it be he does not like our brand of CHANGE???

I watched the clip to Jon Stewart and I’m sorry I even graced the website with a hit to help benefit or encourage his attack on McCain. I stopped watching Jon Stewart when I witnessed him treating Clinton equally as badly as CNN and MSNBC. His bias to Obama is obvious to me. And even when he appears to have jokes on Obama — he’s not actually making fun of Obama — but rather the media treatment of Obama. I am boycotting his show and would prefer to boycott the website that promotes his show as well.

I would also like to put in my 2¢ on the comments I’ve seen posted on Emily’s list. Personally I applaud anyone who boycotts Emily’s List as well and will encourage and support that position. Maybe the CEO of Emily’s List has good intentions regarding Clinton — but we need to send a message loud and clear that any support of Obama is ultimate poison in standing with him. Emily’s List DOES support Obama. Regardless of the reasons or motives to do so — a message needs to be sent that the people DO NOT SUPPORT OBAMA… nor will we support any surrogate of Obama’s with our donations. Money talks. I plan to scream as loud as I can with my money since my words have little effect at times with these corporations.

Just my 2¢ — and for all that have boycotted Emily’s List and sent letters explaining your position… I applaud you. I don’t get any of these requests but I almost envy those that do — because I would love the opportunity to send similar letters and help to deplete their resources by using their postage paid envelope to send my thoughts.

#191 Anna7000,

I am sorry. Please do not continue this conversation in public. Please. Having this conversation publicly really is not helping us achieve our goals. All I can say is that I came to the conclusion in the second half of June that I cannot allow my work to continue to go toward promoting certain sites. So what am I supposed to do? Do you really think it would be better if I just go back to enjoying my family and having a great summer? I can’t do it. My reasons for doing what I am doing are entirely my own and I will do my best not to discuss them publicly. I made that mistake once about 3 weeks ago, and I regret it greatly because of the damage it can do to what we are all trying to accomplish. All I meant by “this conversation should end” is that it is not helping us accomplish very important goals. If you or DWP or anyone else would like to discuss this privately, let me know. I’m sorry. Please do not continue this conversation in public. Please.

#211 Lorelai on 08.02.08 at 4:11 pm

Let’s not be divided and conquered….chill everyone….
I know this election stirs passions deep and the frustrations are running high, but it does not good to turn on ourselves. (Even though some of us might not be “ourselves”….)
We need to be unified and focus as much as possible on the prize…Emails and blogging can so often be misinterpreted- it’s scary that without inflection, or context, things can get crazy – Just remember, we’re all in this together for the sake of our country’s future.
Please let’s try to get along – we don’t have to sing kumbaya, but we do have to play as nicely together as can. My two cents.

I have not read the blog yet so hope this is not a repeat.

Good news! Democrat numbers down. Main stream media paying attention to Hillary as VP. Obama cannot win without her? At least the tide is turning and they are not ignoring her anymore. Soon, perhaps, they will realize that Obama has not “clinched” the nomination and that Hillary is the one the country wants and needs.

1. Rasmussen Reports Saturday, August 02, 2008

“During July, the number of Americans who consider themselves to be Democrats fell two percentage points to 39.2%. That’s the first time since oJanuary that the number of Democrats has fallen below 41%”

mzebest – maybe I missed something in the Jon Stewart clip – thought he was being a bit more balanced – but I can see where you are coming from.
I remember seeing him in person at The Ohio State University two years ago, and a student asked him what he thought of Barack Obama running for President.
His answer was “Sure, I think an African American male with a terrorist sounding name could win easily” or something like that. I think at that time, he thought there was no way in hell that BO would get this far.

#219 MountainSong on 08.02.08 at 4:17 pm

Making us wait until the convention to find out if Hillary’s name will be place in nomination, when we already know that NObama’s will be, seems like a cruel torture. Hard to know, or prepare which way to go if she is not. It’s very hard to imagine voting for McCain.
As to resoring the principles of the Democratic Party~~~Is it even possible? Without a revolution?
What is REALLY bothering me is we THOUGHT we had done the ‘right’ thing in 2000 and that Gore won the election. And again in 2004 we THOUGHT Kerry won.
Hopefully we will be WRONG in 2008 if we think it looks like NObama won.

“maybe I missed something in the Jon Stewart clip – thought he was being a bit more balanced ”

Well the clip criticized McCain as the Dick of the Week for comparing Obama to Paris Hilton after receiving donations from the Hilton’s parents for his campaign. Personally — I would have gone for the joke that comparing Obama to Paris Hilton is an insult to Paris Hilton. But the joke that Stewart went for is that he’s being a dick for exposing the truth about the media loving Obama. He even makes fun of McCain for criticizing Obama on the fact that so many people love Obama. Stewart says makes the point that he’s running for President so isn’t it a good thing that everyone loves Obama?

So maybe I’m missing something — but that doesn’t sound like a fair and balanced report to me. I commend McCain for telling it like it really is… and I’m proud that he’s not backing down to the MSM for criticizing this ad. When Stewart starts showing the Dick Moves of the week that Obama has done… like having a rock concert to APPEAR like millions love him… then I’ll admit Stewart is being fair and balanced.

Did ANY of you realize democrats in Congress has NO INTENTION of winning the WH this November? Those oldtimers in Congress wanted to maintain the status quo, they knew if Hillary is the nominee she would win the Whitehouse and that put their position in a precarious condition with the voters. They also knew Hillary is a MODERATE DEMOCRAT, she will never take this country to the far left which is the intention of people like Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, Kerry, Dean, Brazille and other extreme leftwingers of the party. In fact in the 90s, the biggest problem of President Bill Clinton were the democrats in his own party because Bill Clinton lead by staying in the middle which made the democrats like Kennedy, Kerry, and others turned red. What made Bill Clinton a successful President? He was a MODERATE DEMOCRAT, he put the WELFARE OF THE PEOPLE, of this COUNTRY ahead of his party. FDR was the same when he was President, he was hated by some members of his party but he was a successful President.

Now, lets talk about NOBAMA, people like Pelosi, Dean and other extreme leftwingnuts KNEW their selected nominee will never win in general election. But they’re pushing for him for simple, he is a threat to their seats in Congress, they want to appease the black community. They don’t care if he lose, their own safety net in the House of Congress comes first. Where are we THE PEOPLE in the scheme of things? We have no place in their hunger for power, they’re all playing us for a fool. They ONLY need us during election time to put them back in office again, once election is over, we can kiss our hinnies goodbye, we become IRRELEVANT. Don’t you know these people in Congress start campaigning as soon as they’re elected by constituents? They have to raise $30,000.00 A WEEK for their next run. How can they accomplish anything when they’re busy running for office as soon as they’re done with their oath taking? Very FEW people in the senate are doing their JOB, SERVING THE PEOPLE. The newly elected democratic senators in the US SENATE are ALL MODERATES. Hillary is not alone in the US Senate (moderate democrat). The DNC spend millions to recruit moderates to run as democrat in Congress, 90% of democrats in house of representative and senate are EXTREME LEFTWINGNUTS. This is not the democratic party I supported for a number of years, I did not leave the party, they ABANDON ME.

IF Hillary is not the nominee, my vote goes to John McCain, I will not write-in Hillary’s name. I want the democratic party to learn a HARD LESSON, you do NOT ignore the VOICE OF THE PEOPLE and expect to get away with it.

LETS VOTE THE BUMS OUT OF CONGRESS STARTING WITH NANCY PELOSI!

If it wasn’t for a woman to feed, change their crappy diapers, etc, there wouldn’t be any men to mistreat us. They would be skinny little runts trying to stay away from each other’s smell.

The City Edition story about Rove’s role in Hillary’s defeat makes sense to me. He is a real slime ball and should be in jail. He actually started that website against Hillary in 2006, Republicans for Obama and there is also 1M strong against Hillary. He is refusing to show up for court even though he was served a subpoena, claims executive privilege. I think they should just wait for him to come out the door, handcuff him and take him to jail.

Make no mistake, even though we now watch Hannity, remember his goal was to “Stop Hillary” and he discussed it at length with creepy Dick Morris. I recall he said that the job was done with Hillary and now they had to stop Obama. The problem is Obama needs to be stopped now, not after the Convention. The Repubs know they cannot beat Hillary.

I have pretty much given up on this blog because of the on going spamming and promotional activities associated with one individual. It is like looking at my spam e-mail box.

There are a lot of people here who have there own sites with their own actions yet I don’t see them spamming this board all day long. Its becoming a blog to advertise.

If you care about the goals you would post your letters here, easy for fellow puma’s to grab and send off but it is about promoting rather then the goals.

I would rather just ignore the blog at this point and take my actions via e-mail puma prowls.

Sometimes miss the DONUT because they’re too busy staring at the hole.

Keep your eyes on the DONUT but NOT on the hole.

Our goal is bigger than all of us PUMAs combined, what we are facing here is future of our country for future Americans. Stay Rodham, think of a family, sometimes siblings have spats but we must NOT keep our eyes away from the ball. I joined PUMA PAC the day Hillary suspended her campaign. It was Karla For Hillary that posted the url in Hillary’s website, I join right away and made my first donation.

When we have a goal, all of us MUST learn to set aside our pride and ego, as an organization we MUST stay FOCUS with our goal. We must NOT allow distractors to divert our attention, when we do, they’ve won.

This no longer “I” but US, WE THE PEOPLE.

rodham in flag. a social movement is a live organism. we all have hearts and minds and we are trying to achieve a goal. it is hard for all minds to be in sync 24/7, so we have to hope hearts can make up for it. I think that you are a special puma, and perhaps advising is your role. Murphy and Maryland and Trish and so many others have given so much, and we have taken. I do my prowls daily, I give at least 300 people a PUMA flyer a day, and I write the supers. This pales in comparison to what others have done.

Advise, counsel, teach–do not leave. Sometimes brains make mistakes, but hearts rarely do…

Libel–written defamation or lie about someone.

#258-RODHAM IN FLAG…

She says just what others are saying. Maryland Puma has posted MANY, MANY times about having received MANY emails from different people who have concerns about some of the remarks people make… others have commented and posted as well!!!! Do ya’ll just SKIM OVER THOSE COMMENTS????????????????????

I think a LOT of people need to reread the goals statement of Puma Pac

“Our goals are fourfold:

1. To support the candidacy of Hillary Clinton. Updated 6/7/08 — Hillary Clinton was forced to suspend her campaign because the DNC decided to select its preferred nominee, so we are not directly campaigning for her. We consider her to be the leader of the Democratic party and our members will continue to support her throughout this election cycle.

2. To lobby and organize for changes in leadership in the DNC

3. To critique and oppose the misogyny, discrimination, and disinformation in the mainstream media, including mainstream blogs and other outlets of new media

4. To support the efforts of those political figures who have allied themselves with Hillary Clinton and who have demonstrated commitment to our first three goals.”

———————————————————-
IT’S ONLY AFTER THE FACT THAT PEOPLE APOLOGIZE.. AFTER THE INSULTING THINGS HAVE BEEN SAID.. AFTER THE FACT … IT’S RATHER LATE.

These comments ARE being copied and posted on other blog sites as being an EXAMPLE of what Pumpa Pac members are all about…

There are other avenues that ya’ll can take if you want to comment in those ways.. you can join the “CHAT” groups.. go chat on there and be as negative as you want to be.. call names, make up names for people.. even though it sounds like something elementary school CHILDREN do… these peoples actions represent them well enough.. there is REALLY NO NEED to distort their names to ridicule them…

A lot of people are saying.. “CAN’T WE JUST ALL GET ALONG?”

I say, “CAN’T WE JUST ALL GROW UP???????????”

#297 MountainSong on 08.02.08 at 5:26 pm

I couldn’t agree with you more. In fact I don’t read all the comments, I pay attention to comments that makes a lot of sense to me and help our organization. I am working on getting more PUMA to register and donate to our organization. We have to be honest, it takes MONEY to fight, to forward our cause. What we all PUMAs have started is not for the fainthearted. I’d been here before, done that, bought the t-shirt. When I joined PUMA I know what I am getting into; my heart and mind are all for it. My point in joining PUMA has NOTHING to do with emotion but MORE on pure and simple COMMON SENSE. I’d been here before (in another country), this is deja vu for me. I’ve spent 16 years of my life fighting a corrupt government that killed my friends ( not easy to fight your government when the first thing they’ve done is DISARM their citizens). I join PUMA because I don’t want ANY of YOU to go through what I’ve been through. To stop abuse and BE HEARD, we MUST all ACT NOW. When voice of the people becomes irrelevant, democracy is dead.

1948. I think perhaps we need a round table discourse about what postings should be here. Perhaps people think that they are doing a good job, but they aren’t. Perspective is very person-specific.

One thing is for sure, I don’t think anybody is trying to hurt Puma. So, with that as the catalyst perhaps someone could DEFINE the rules of posting and I will be the first person to follow them VERBATIM.

Good people come here, not perfect people, but good people. Let’s just refine, and keep building a better movement.

#311 Amarissa on 08.02.08 at 5:37 pm

Regarding Rodham in Flag incident:

We laugh, we cry and we fight together, isn’t that what a family is all about? PUMAs have become a very BIG family and it is normal for little things to happen that upsets some of us. We must forgive and forget because our cause, our reason for being here is what made us family.
I do agree, however, that sometimes we get into silly fights that are being criticized within enemy lines. We must remember that we are exposed to thousands of people who are watching our every move to prove us wrong. Said that, let’s have fun, let’s work and let’s think twice before we write something that might hurt one of our own.

#312 Middle age female on 08.02.08 at 5:37 pm

Rodham in Flag – I hope whatever you decide, you will continue your fight to keep BO out of the White House, and continue to fight for Hillary.

That is, and has been, my only goal, regardless of where/how I decide to achieve it.

#313 Anna7000 on 08.02.08 at 5:37 pm

Mountain’s post
Cheering chorus
Take a breath
Let’s each assure us

Some days are good
Some days are bad
Some days we’re angry
Some days we’re sad

Today’s suggestion
To get lighter
Seems insightful
Makes things brighter

We are many
Come together
No way there won’t be
Ruffled feathers

But just for now
We can say
We’re working hard
Every day

And on that note
Hurray! Hurray!

#1 wontbackdown:

I oppose reparations for the descendents of slaves too.
Money doesn’t repair the injustice of slavery. It can only be used to buy a fourth TV set.

It’s a total bull**** proposition that stinks worser and worser everytime I hear bellyaching white groups, white leaders, black groups, black leaders, politicians, John Q. Citizen and agitating bloggers use it as a flashpoint to favortism or political gain. In this nation, buddies, we are ALL equal, albeit not all privileged. As far as I’m concerned who needs privileges? Anything can be done on an indiviual basis without the luck of such an advantage.

The reparation of freedom has already been afforded the descendants of blacks. Doesn’t get any better than that. They are not slaves anymore. Slaves of the antebellum period are the ones who suffered unjustly, not descendants. Education and prosperity is theirs now if only they’ll work for it instead of crying foul and restitution for what their ancestors, unfortunately, had to endure.

Native Americans and the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki have suffered just as much from America’s once savage principles. Yet these peoples have adjusted and flourished, I think…especially the Japanese.

Sometimes people can sure get on my nerves. On this particular issue on people as a group I applaud Mr. Obama’s stand on reparations. But that alone won’t get my vote. His negatives outweight the positives. I’m just saying this one time he finally says something I can understand and agree with.

And now to this one, dear pumas;

Another thing I’m happy to hear is both candidates believe it’s time for off shore drilling to commence in light of the ridculous high costs of energy. Christ, my electricty bill for last month was $170– that’s double what I’m used to paying since moving into my home four years ago. And with August upon us it’s going to be even more of a jaw-dropper. And if you think the summer months are bad just wait til it’s winter.

Seen the cost of beef or milk lately? It costs truckers money to transport that stuff to market, ya know. The cost of company’s petrol is passed on to the consumer. Every time I go shopping the meat department is the loneliest. Nobody wants to pay $10 for a skinny strip of steak that feeds only one and is cooked and gone within minutes. You better like chicken livers then ( which I REALLY do). That’s still a bargain price… but only because a FEW like me like chicken livers.

Energy costs are effecting the American way of life in a big way. We’re affected in how we seek entertainment, choose our dwellings or clothe our bodies (We have real disshoveled slobs here in Texas with their tattoos, ugly feet and weird looking contorted toes showing and wearing baseball caps and bagging shorts. Not many wear cowboy hats and Justin boots anymore around these parts).

Quite frankly, I’M FED UP WITH ENVIRONMENTALISTS and the Democrats and Republicans who suck up to them for political reasons. Drill now. Damn, God put that s*** in the Earth for a reason– to be discovered and used by man for the good. So let’s get crackin’!!!

Let’s again be Americans with the same standard of living we’ve always had. I don’t want to be forced into a third world existance, comparitively speaking. I’m voting for whoever is best qualified and more likely to make off-shore drilling a reality. All other issues fall behind that one.

Life is getting to be a bitch.

#316 DaddysDarlin on 08.02.08 at 5:41 pm

Rodham, I understand fully what you are saying. I too believe as someone else mentioned that there are certainly bots on our site, who live to antagonize Pumas and love when we attack each other. They are here, no doubt about it, so don’t let them take you and your wisdom away from the rest of us. The Pumas here are family, the bots here are only here to do exactly what they are doing–tearing us apart one by one. I for one will not allow it.
You cant get me to leave here, to leave my support system, to leave my family of Pumas who love each other. Don’t let them win. No more fighting. I do not believe in hurting others, and I hate to see others hurt, reconsider Rodham, the true Pumas need you.
Much love and respect to those who continue to fight the good fight. We will win in Denver and in November!!!

Regarding “some negative posts” and “bickering” on this blog. Who cares? Real families bicker. Clearly conformity is not us. Yes some people take negative comments from here and repost them to make us look bad. But that type of person will look as long as it takes to find something to make us look bad. It doesn’t matter how we act some people will see only negative because that is what they want to see. Yes I try to conform to respectful behavior standards but I am not responsible for the tone of every post on this board and neither is PUMA or anyone else on here. Anyone who visits can see that people here care about being civil. I can’t think of any other blog that has people bickering because I can’t think of any other blog that cares how they appear. Most of them have some extremely offensive comments but that doesn’t negate the content of the civil people on the blog. Don’t worry PUMAs be happy!

I like to think of the Puma blog as a place to display the greatness that Hillary inspires in us.

We don’t want a leader who inspires bickering, name calling, and other hurtful behaviors. That’s Obama. That’s part of why we don’t want Obama as President.

Hillary inspires tolerance and understanding. Our blog should reflect that.

My 2¢.

#326 Anna7000 on 08.02.08 at 5:53 pm

hey seattle girl – thanks for that post. i don’t think we need to freak out about bickering. i think what makes us look bad out there on the big wide unwieldy internet are posts that are really offensive in terms of language and content. i don’t think it’s wrong for us to disagree with each other on certain points. it’s inevitable with such a large group, so many different personalities and agendas. as an earlier poster so eloquently wrote, the blog is a living, breathing thing. i don’t think we need to follow in the path of the dnc by forcing some kind of faux unity when a comment has been written that truly offends one or all. what i think becomes problematic is when that starts to take on a life of its own and suddenly the focus on the blog is all on that conflict. but i think there’s no way around the inevitability of disagreements and people should have the space to stand up for themselves and say, “hey, you just stepped on my toes.” sometimes we let stuff slide, sometimes we just have to speak up.

the blog is a very democratic place. it’s hard for a large group (no less of people who don’t really even know each other) to navigate that. that’s where the role of a moderator or facilitator can really come in handy. but for the most part, we’re all moderating ourselves and we each make different choices about where we draw the line, when and why we bother to speak out or let something slide. i’m learning when to step back and see something is getting too convoluted and i’m too entangled in an impossible siutation, at which point, i disengage. it’s been an evolution for me to learn how to manage myself and so many others in a gigantic dialogue filled with so many passions.

ps the last stanza to my poem:

And, by the way
If it’s not evident
Obama can’t be
The President!

(just thought i’d toss that in…NOW i’m going to the garden!)

Hi Pumas,
I’ve been out of town for awhile and now trying to catch up on all the blogs.
What’s going on with money for Hillary? I have gotten 3 emails, one from Hillary, one from Bill, and today one from Terry McAuliffe, asking to donate for a chance at a dinner with Hillary. I thought her debt was paid down quite a bit over July 4th. I sure hope this money isn’t for you know who. I am really reluctant to donate anything.

#330 Susie1945 on 08.02.08 at 5:59 pm

Hi Pumas – just wanted to say – I got an email from Terry McAuliffe today – I hadn’t responded yet to either Hillary’s or Bill’s emails about dinner – what I got from Terry :

Dear Sue,

If you haven’t already entered the contest to have dinner with Hillary, there is still time left. This is a great chance for you and a guest to have dinner one-on-one with Hillary.

Have dinner with Hillary. Contribute today.

I would never skip a chance to sit down and chat with Hillary, and neither should you. Best of luck!

-Terry

I intend to donate – just not yet –

But, what was amusing was that he forwarded the original email from Hillary and it was addressed to him…..

PUMA Family,

Please be CIVIL with each other, please do NOT impose your POV on your fellow PUMA. We are ALL in the SAME boat.

Just a reminder to ALL, once freedom is lost, it would take thousands of lives to gain it back. Democracy will ONLY survive when its citizens are BELLIGERENT in watching those people they’ve elected in office, that is our CIVIC DUTY as citizen of this country.

Pat yourself in the back PUMAs, you’re ALL doing a fantastic job fighting for democracy, you’re making our founding fathers smile. God bless you all and God bless America!

i don’t think anyone really knows what’s going on with Hillary’s debt. I don’t believe any of the money is going to Obama, based on what other people have posted. But don’t quote me on that.

You have to make your own decisions based on what you’re comfortable with. I’ve got no one helping me pay down my own debt, so all I can give is my time. When I do give money these days, it’s to Red Cross or agencies doing the work that directly benefits the people Hillary wants to help. I think it’s a better use of my money. I’m at peace with that.

Anna7000 you have mail.

dances you have mail.

Thank you Anna and Dances and others who have been working so hard to be fair, focused, and welcoming to everyone who comments here.

There are 3 Rules for Posting on Puma PAC’s forums
1. No sexism
2. No racism or homophobia
3. No insulting other Pumas, including condescension

Those rules were broken several times today while I was away. I apologize for the detrimental effect those insults and condescension had on all of us, especially the good Pumas who tried to make them stop.

There is absolutely, positively no exception to the rules.

There are a hundred million places to blog on the internet. Puma PAC is not for everyone. But I will do everything I possibly can, with the tireless help of mp, mama, and the moderators, to make sure it IS the place for citzens who want to reform our Party to organize, inform, inspire, and share with each other.

It’s a pity I cannot donate ! I would have liked so much to help you… I don’t understand why people from other countries should not have the right to participate in this effort in favour of Hillary.
======================

delphine, I think there are many places where foreigners can donate. I thought the pumapac was one. However I know it is okay to donate to operation costs for a website like this or other sites, to help other people travel to Denver, etc etc.

You might ask Heidi Li or Marc Rubin, they know about the rules and various sites.

Yes we are a family and should stick together at all times. However this family has a way too much sibling rivalry for me. I come, I read, then I have to leave. I think our mama needs to step in, take a few cubs by the back of the neck and put them in a time out till then can behave like adults.

What The Denver Group told CQ Politics About Senator Clinton Being Placed in Nomination
**********************************
Heidi Li Feldman, a Georgetown University law professor, co-founded The Denver Group to push a roll call vote on Clinton’s nomination. She says Clinton is in a tenuous political situation, caught between her desire not to undermine Obama’s candidacy or Democratic efforts to win the White House, and giving voice to her supporters and delegates.

The Democratic National Committee and Democratic leadership “has chilled her speech,” Feldman claims. She charges that the Democratic Party leadership spent the entire primary season telling Clinton to get out of the race, “so she has every reason to believe that they’ll start beating that drum again” if she makes any sort of public statement.

Feldman added that she would continue raising money to help Clinton’s nomination “unless and until she says ‘I am releasing my delegates.’”

By today anybody who follows politics knows Senator Clinton most certainly has not said this and does not seem likely to.

The Denver Group plans to unroll a further series of ads between now through the Convention. How many, how often, and where depends upon how quickly our supporters fund us.

If you are not in a position to donate – we know about budgets – then consider finding even one person to donate just five dollars. Five multiplied by 18 million would make a grand advertising budget.

Online donations can be made via Act Blue or PayPal. We also accept donations by mail, information in the sidebar to the right. Please review the FEC eligibility rules also in the sidebar so that all our donations conform to FEC requirements.

I had this terrible feeling when I just read about Iran not backing down on nuclear threat. Bush would love to get us into another war. He is just crazy enough to do it. If that happened and Hillary was not POTUS just imagine the mess we would be in. Oh nevermind I forgot Obama would sit down and talk with them and everything would be perfect.

I just am going to say one more thing.. and then no more…

I personally dislike very much some of the negative things .. or at least I perceive them as negative.. that are posted.. and frankly I do not believe ANY of those people are trolls… I agree that different people have different opinions over what is appropriate and what might not be… but I just don’t see how certain comments can be perceived as anything BUT negative.. WE didn’t like it when the MSM and Obama’s campaign and others used derogatory names about HRC..

reference Anna7000 comment #326 … she states what I’m struggling to say much more succintly.

#356 bruce55555 on 08.02.08 at 6:22 pm

I think we’re getting closer to our goal Pumas, let’s all stick together and continue to get our message out
If there’s any common sense in those superdelegates’ heads we have to at least keep trying to bring it to the surface.

Somewhere, someone will listen.

The harder we try the better our chances they’ll listen.
We need as many as we can possibly get.

Also the news media.

Impossible that in 2008, 2008!!! in the United States of America, we have to go through all this.

Unbelievable.
The last time I checked this was not a third world country.

Welcome, we need everyone.

Only one person is threatening to leave. It happens a couple times a week. Sometimes they come back, sometimes they don’t. Patience with others when you’re having a bad day or they are, is needed.

#360 murphy on 08.02.08 at 6:26 pm

txpuma and susie and bruce et al — agreed. cubs sent to time out.

enough is enough.

I’d like to make one point in all this, however. I think it’s important — I don’t believe for one second that there is infighting here. Of the tens of thousands of people who comment here, a very small few have caused trouble. We are not fighting with each other when we respond to an insulting trouble-maker. It’s not infighting when a jerk insults a Puma and that Puma tells him to back off.

I’ve never met any one of you in person, but I feel like the luckiest person in the world — I have hundreds of people whom I think of as actual friends. People who, when and if I do meet them in person, it will be like continuing an ongoing conversation and friendship. It’s also very clear that I’m not the only one who feels that way — many friendships have been made here among all of us. I love reading the comments where sandipuma is talking with inhanyou or trish is talking with goalucard or go-ohio is talking with nyc-girl.

This is a beautiful thing we have here. And it is NOT fragile. It is NOT weak or vulnerable. Our shared work and experiences and insights over the past 8 weeks have made us MORE loyal and appreciative of each other.

We are strong — We are focused — We are good to each other. And we are HERE TO STAY.

#363 chrissieD on 08.02.08 at 6:30 pm

Hillary had sound plans abt the defense of the nation. i mean she made it clear that she would not go into unneccessary wars against countries, yet that she would take a tough stance to prevent domestic security issues. Obamas living in a dreamworld if he thinks just asking dictators nicely to stop what they doing will happen i mean in most of those countries even the people living in the countries couldnt vote the dictators out. But I think Bush’s “lets go to war” strategy is crazy though and mindless. I mean talking to dictators never helps Mugabes been asked many times to hand over power yet he never does, i think sanctions need to be introduced against individual dictators and not entire populations. :-)

A question you may not want to answer, but if after Denver, there is still a fight to be had (and there would be) do you think PUMA will or might become a political party itself? Have you given that much thought or talked to others about it?

#377 mijabsnji on 08.02.08 at 6:42 pm

Written Communication… My thoughts about people suggesting they might leave PUMAS (except trolls):

It is a common fact that communicating via written words can so often miscontrued because you cna’t hear the feeling in the other person’s voice, or see their facial, hand and body movement or always get immediate clarification. I am often very direct and therefore appears conversational but that is not my intent, ever. When I realize I said something in that way, I try to make it seem more positive than negative (because it is meant to be postiive). Such as just saying “that information is incorrect” when responding to a post, I try to say “May I add” or “great point and here is some new informtion I heard.”

I try to compliment when I can. I can only get through a small number of posts but I try to do what I can.

WITHOUT…. WHERE WOULD WE BE:
Without passion we wouldn’t be here
Without caring we wouldn’t be here
Without wanting the truth we wouldn’t be here
Without believing in fairness and justice we wouldn’t be
here
Without our intensity and all of our emotions we
wouldn’t be here.
Without the need to protect those around us, those less
fortunate than us, we wouldn’t be here
Without the desire and need to make positive changes
in this country we wouldn’t be here
Without the tireless, devoted, committed, hard working
we would not be here.
Without our knowledge, resources and the need and
ability to learn and develop we wouldn’t be here.
Without Hillary as our role model we would not be here.
Without our differences of opinion, trains of thought and individual strengths of everyone we would not be here

Without being human and listening to each other’s
successes, happiness, rough days, little cubs,
we would not be that interested to be here.
Without all of us being different we would not have had
the ideas, opportunities or ability to be diversified in
our research and actions and move like the stealth,
courageous PUMAS that we are.
Without all the people working behind the scenes, we
wouldn’t be here

WITHOUT Murphy, well we know there never would have been PUMAS and then where would we be??

MY heartfelt thanks to all of you, I am humbled everyday by how hard you all work for your families, colleagues and especially PUMAS.

You can’t save them all, it would take you and hundreds of others may hours to save all these starfish.” The little girl picked up another starfish and threw it into the ocean and replied, “I just made a difference to that one.” God doesn’t expect us to save the world, just make a difference.

 Ten minute teaser containing footage from PUMA PAC and Brad Mays’ new political documentary, still being shot around America. At this juncture, the focus is on malfeasance during the Texas primary.

It should be pointed out that we’re still loading all the footage we’ve shot up to now into the editing system, and that production will continue through the election and possibly beyond.

So what we intend to do is change this teaser on a weekly basis. Sure to generate hot debate.

#399 Anna7000 on 08.02.08 at 7:14 pm

In for a quick lunch break then back to my garden.

TXPUMA – Loved the story you shared. Very touching and very honest.

There’s an old Jewish saying that if you save one person, you save the world. I try to remember it since it never feels like I’m doing enough (probably a female thing) and part of me feels like, no way, saving one person doesn’t save the world. But, of course, it’s not meant in a literal sense (I don’t think), but more the gestalt of it, which is so lovely.

LADYHAWKKE – I read one of your posts a while back about trying to understand what Hillary really said in that now famous video we all say yesterday. I had a similar response. My husband and I were talking last night trying to decifer what she was really saying. Some of it was direct, but some was ambiguous.

Like a few posters here today noted, why is there even a negotiation about whether her name will be placed in nomination or not. Someone at that gathering asked her about this issue and she sort of hedged the answer, noting that there are various ways a candidate’s name could be placed in nomination.

Here’s my theory: She’s struggling to honor all of those who supported her and continue to support her, while also wanting to make sure she doesn’t appear to be doing anything devisive, while also dealing with whatever is going on behind the scenes with Obama/DNC that we’re not privy to, while also wanting to make sure she makes a strategic decision that will be in the best interests of her political career.

OY!

I just keep hanging onto the fact that she hasn’t released her delegates. If she truly was going to throw in the last towel, for me that would be the sign. But it is truly enraging that it’s even an issue as to whether her name is placed in nomination or not.

OK. Getting myself to worked up. Gotta go back to my zinnias (which are gorgeous!)

#392 MURPHY, AWESOME!!! Can’t wait for the full version.

#410 ladyhawkke on 08.02.08 at 7:32 pm

#408 I hope not. She needs to stop backing him. As she said in an earlier video, she has done more to support a nominee than anyone before her. None of the other candidates endorsed anyone before the convention. I’m still at a loss to understand her reasoning. He will implode any day. She should sign the petition and if she is embarrassed, so be it, but I think it will be Obama who is embarrassed.

You may want to see the video of Hillary speaking for herself the other day on this matter;

Hello Pumas

Our mission has gone beyond Senator Clinton and *61. We are fighting a corrupt nominee and party. As we stated many times before, we own our vote. *61 is unqualified and unfit to be the POTUS. Senator Clinton has a right to her opinion, but we have moved beyond that.

Rove & Republican connection

The Republicans were not sitting in the famous “rules” meeting in May that took away Hillary’s delegates. They were all Democrats.

It wasn’t the Republican superdelegates that voted for *61 even though Hillary had won their states. It was the Democratic superdelegates such as Rockefeller, Kennedy, Kerry, Richardson, Byrd, Napolitano, and so on.

I have no doubt that the Republicans supported *61 in the beginning. However, it is through the Democratic superdelegates that he grabbed the lead. The last time that I looked none of them were Republicans.

I left a voicemail message at NY Daily News demanding a retraction of the false Hillary story.

#111 #120 Prowland

I copied and pasted your link about the superdelegates that *61 bought and will send to some media outlets.

Go Team Pumas!!!

#413, I have seen that youtube video but she is really not saying anything. She is saying we can all scream and holler then support him. Without filling out these nomination papers all these votes and petitions don’t mean anything.

True enough. But till I her Hillary say herself I won’t believe it and even then I won’t believe it till after the convention. Though your point is well understood :-) .

#417 Noblecascade on 08.02.08 at 8:03 pm

Ladyhawkke, I fee the same way. If I wasn’t good enough to be considered VP when everyone and his dog has suggested it…he could do his own campaigning. Maybe I am not a team player but this is wrong.

Wow! Murphy the video is coming out great! I am very proud of what you and Brad are doing. Thank you for making history! The truth will prevail!
Believe me I know how hard production of a documentary is, it’s what I’ve been doing for years! The long hours, the waiting, the weather, the long nights at the editing room! It is very hard work but when your product is finished, you will feel so proud of your sacrifices!

Hi my (((Family))) I want each and every one of you PUMAS to know I LOVE you and you have become my family.I plan on living 20 more years so i hope we will still be a family. What is the first thing i do everyday when i get up??. Come and fire up my computer and come in and lurk and read and do what i need to do. If i have an app. or errand i can’t wait to get back and get my self working for our our cause. We are all here for the same thing. To see our great Gal Hillary as President. But i will allways want you to be my family. I am alone most the time and you all give me a reason to not be lonely. Now i will shut up …I talk to much but Hugs to you all.

That blogger is quoting an article that has been proven to have false information. I also know that the AOL bloggers are famous for being in the tank for Obama and promoting Obama agendas and propaganda. Ignore that article and I would encourage fellow PUMA’s not to justify the site with hits by clicking on the link. They do not deserve our attention.

#426 mzebest on 08.02.08 at 8:35 pm

Murphy —

That video is awesome. I loved watching it and want to see more. :-)

Murphy can you see TigressGold cming in

#428 Noblecascade on 08.02.08 at 9:36 pm

#425, it has gotten to where you don’t know what to believe…especially the media. Very confusing. I for one, hope the article is wrong. Just like now the media is saying that certain economic studies that have correctly predicted the last post war presidents are predicting Obama will win the election.

Good blog, I just saw your site posted over on the DNC PB blog. I’m tired of the Obama worshipers over there. I don’t mind supporters but I am not a brass monkey, I want answers.
