Paddy O’Bloggin

Let’s raise a drink with Riverdaughter and everyone at Just Say No Deal tonight. We are all working our tushies off every day and when the sun starts to set and the crickets and peepers start to sing, it’s time to head on out to the deck with a tall, cold drink and a good book our laptops so we can patio blog. If I hadn’t started Puma PAC I wanted to start a blog written by an Irishman named Murphy who likes to sit outside and talk politics while drinking Jameson’s and call it Paddy O’Bloggin.

But anyways, We also need to raise money! It is the last day of the month. Puma PAC will probably raise about half of what we raised in June. This makes sense to me because so many of our members contributed everything they could to pay down Hillary’s debt in July. But August is a HUGE month for us. We are still raising funds to help Pumas get to Denver. Right now we have raised almost enough for one bus from NYC. If we don’t raise much more than that then we’ll prioritze helping Puma PAC members get to Denver by subsidizing their trips as much as we can.

Puma PAC is also taking the lead on coordinating activities and visibility in Denver. We are setting up a Puma Headquarters inside the city to serve as a live-blogging station, a meeting place, and an oasis for Hillary delegates and Pumas to meet, get to know each other, and escape from Obama Movement Mania. No We Won’t Radio will be there. 18MillionVoices will be there. Riverdaughter will be there. Just Say No Deal will be there. And, of course — we’ll be there! This costs money — not all that much — but it’s not free. The other groups in the JSND will be helping us all weekend long — we are planning a weekend fundraiser for all the JSND groups whereby all will be encouraged to contribute to Puma PAC so we can have the most effective (and fun!) counter-movement in Denver as possible.

Please help tonight if you can. And thank you, as ever, to all the generous Pumas who have contributed and continue to contribute. Click here to CONTRIBUTE — no donation is too small (but there is a $5,000 limit for individuals ;-) )

I posted this on the wrong page so I’m going to repost it here.
I received a letter from both Hillary and Bill, asking us to help retire her debt, If you want to help Her, and get a chance to meet with them in Denver please contribute whatever you can by midnight. I cannot go to Denver, but I know she wants to meet with us at dinner to hear what we want. I think this is important, and change may be in the air. Let me know if you want me to forward the email asap.

Rev Manning believes whitey tape exists but he does not have it and has not heard it.

#7 BigCatLover on 07.31.08 at 8:46 pm

Rev manning believes if HRC backers would go to Denver and put her name in nomination, she would be nominated because he does not think Obama can be elected.

#8 4hillinca on 07.31.08 at 8:48 pm

#7 Well Rev. Manning is right….Obama can’t be elected.

You are so funny. Thank you for your sense of humor. I didn’t know what tuhis meant for a long time. :) Yiddish was used a lot when my grandfather was little, but he didn’t pass it on to any of us because it was very dangerous in Russia. A lot of words I learned only here. My best friend kept on saying for years: “Oy vey” and I didn’t know what it meant. Only recently I figured out that it’s short for “Oy veyzmir”. My aunt and other people in my family used it a lot when I was little. We heard: “Oy veyzmir; churis–trouble; ne zhgid–not good.” I think that’s it. I remember singing “Chad gad you” on Passover. Yom Kippur was the only other holiday that I remember anything about–adults were saying “I am not eating today”.

#10 BigCatLover on 07.31.08 at 8:55 pm

Ladyhawkke is asking rev Manning about Larry Sinclair and rev, Wright. Manning says rev. wright performed many gay marriages even though they were illegal and that everyone in the church knew this was going on.

Murphy – if I had an extra $5 grand I would gladly donate to Puma – as it is – can only donate another $50 or so in August……………..sorry

Did someone say on blogtalk radio what Hillary said when a supporter talked with her today? Will she accept the nomination? Please, I think I heard incorrectly…

#13 diva2 on 07.31.08 at 9:02 pm

Can someone reiterate on blogtalk that we need money. I tried the other night and mentioned PUMAS but was not quite as articulate as I hoped. We have some exposure on the radio tonight, maybe someone with bucks will chip in..

#14 BigCatLover on 07.31.08 at 9:02 pm

MamaE (?) has a mystery guest on next Tuesday and she says he/she is hot person to talk to and there will be no phone calls then, but he/she will come back for a question and answer night when questions will be allowed. MamaE says Hillary will accept nomination if she has the support she needs.

#15 murphy on 07.31.08 at 9:03 pm

susie — that is GREAT — I was just kidding about the $5k. That is the limit — but I know that we are the real grass-roots — we are a bunch of middle class and working class democrats who are fighting to get our party back.

If there are any rich angels out there — here’s a chance to shine your wings!

for the rest of us, $50 is A LOT of money to contribute and is very much appreciated.

Hey guys,

I forgot about this. This is the list which BHO has been emailing to his Bots to work on. THIS is why he is getting so much coverage. Let’s start to work on this, and then we will be able to get the nomination for Hillary.

Murphy – I want to donate $25.00, but I do not know what to put where it says purpose. I can not remember what I have put in the past when I have donated.

Is there just a general purpose fund where you can use it for whatever you need it for most?

#20 RememberNovember on 07.31.08 at 9:13 pm

Hi Murphy

Tried to donate $50 but prefer not to give out my phone number to paypal – so it will come in the mail – too late for your end of month fundraiser. So sorry

Yesterday you mentioned to Anna7000 that the delegate data was from realdemocrats and Geeklove but neither one of us can find any contact info. Can you please provide that? Thank you

hey guys, we are being crucified with a whole lot of venom over on Taylor Marsh’s blog. Apparently she has a problem with our diva Murphy. We don’t have any “principles”. Its her blog, I suppose she can say what she wants, but it’d be nice if us PUMA’s really spoke up to correct some of the misinformation on there. Nicely, politely, and with eitiquette. I wouldn’t want to further feed the opinion we are a bunch of illiterate, selfish, immoral, dirty Republicans like they seem to think.

Everybody chillin’ tonight. Good. Not too chilly here but at least Murphy’s letting us take a break. (lol) That Joy Behar on The View must be vocalizing again. I used to think she was really funny. But she’s not too funny when she talks down to us all and sides with BO. After BO came back from Europe, Joy made a comment about how that helped Mr. O to bounce by 9 points! LOL Joy is drinking the koolade too. She is so biased that she beats all the media combined. I didn’t get my prowl done with her today. There are just not enough hours in the day for me to kick some people’s behinds. I know, I know – make time. Just one thing more. I’ve been dreamin’ lately that Hillary got on the ticket and Harriet Christian was her VP selection. Between the two of them, they could get this country straightened out. Ya think?
In a few days I’ll contribute to the PUMA PAC to send some people to Denver. PUMAS rock!!!!!!!!!!!

TIPS FOR POSTING
~attention-grabbers and other tricks & suggestions

:arrow: ~~ Ways to highlight important info and other content in your posts… & make your posts more readable ~~

** use a subject heading (topic line) at the top of your post (and over each section that has a new point or topic)

** use other highlighters such as bold, italics, CAPS, ***asterisks***, bullets (& other symbols), smileys; dividers or spaces between points… Use attention-grabbing words (“URGENT”, “ALERT”, etc.)… also… do RE-POST at different times!

** present your info or talking points in concise paragraphs (or list-form), with SPACES in between each.

””””””””””””””””””””””””
:grin: ~ What are the benefits of all this?

* It helps those who can’t read everything carefully ‘coz of lack of time find the relevant stuff quicker and easier.

* It makes it easier to cull info & talking points to arm ourselves and make our PUMA (& anti-BO) case to the world.

* It makes our long grey threads of posts more readable, more enjoyable to read… and easier to dig into!

******* Recall that every day there are many people (pumas, etc) who visit here but don’t have time to post or linger… but they DO check in to research and extract good info and resources to help them further our cause!!! Confronted with hundreds of unclassified posts can feel overwhelming and hard to dig in!

Using subject headings and other formatting/layout devices can make our info-rich *comments-threads* more friendly & easier to navigate.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Firebelle Puma was one of the responders to a previous version of this post, and emphasized an important tip:

LandiPUMA:

Excellent suggestions.

I’ll add one more … Please break long posts into several smaller paragraphs. It’s far easier to read that way. (I won’t even read long posts formatted as one long paragraph.)

I was raised Roman Catholic, so we always said:
Oy Vey Maria
;)

Not to jump in on your conversation but… I was raised on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, a Jewish neighborhood, and was exposed to many of the rituals and beliefs from a relatively early age. I picked up the common Yiddish words. I still very much appreciate that experience. Many in my neighborhood were survivors of the camps, so I also learned early on about Hitler and his…
words fail.

I don’t mind at all! I think Murphy’s regional people… moderators or something, are going to send them out to their mailing lists. If you haven’t already, you could email join@pumapac.org and get on the East, or Northeast’s list, or just write to them and ask them to send you the jpegs, there are two versions of them.

Okay, I just checked… for you it would be northeast@pumapac.org

Part of what he said was this:
“Given the seriousness of these issues, you’d think we’d be having a serious debate. But instead, John McCain is running an expensive, negative campaign against us. Each day brings a desperate new set of attacks. ”

This was my reply to BO:
“Then why won’t you debate McCain?”

And no, I did not send him any money.

I usually add PUMA Democrat, except when I use curse words.

Supposedly, according to something I read yesterday, Rudy Giulliani was able to purchase a copy or the real thing, tape of MO’s Whitey tape and the Republicans are holding it back, to be a bombshell, until after the conventions are over and everyone gets down to nitty-gritty campaigning.
Like anyone needs to see a tape.

Thank you for sharing with me.

My grandfather taught us about Hitler and WW2 since we were little. His whole family was killed by Nazis. His WW2 experience is our history and reflects everything we do in life. I will start to teach my son about it very soon. I just don’t know how to start. My cousin is also teaching her kids. My sister never taught her kids about what happened to grandpa. So her kids are very much: I am my own person, don’t touch my stuff, go to your room, etc. It’s very sad. When my oldest nephew did something REALLY bad or dumb, THEN my sister would call us and say: “Grandpa, can you please tell him what happened to you”. Whenever my grandfather told my nephew his story, he would listen, then say “thank you”, and do whatever he wanted. It’s so upsetting. My nephew is very smart. He could be starting at Harvard or Yale now, but he graduated with 2.8 GPA because he is LAZY and didn’t want to do his homework. :( :(

CAMPAIGNING AGAINST BO

A campaign is “An operation or series of operations energetically pursued to accomplish a purpose”

To campaign is “To engage in an operation planned to achieve a certain goal” like: campaigning for human rights (etc).

We have our positive PUMA goals that we’re campaigning for… but we’re also campaigning to vet and defeat BO.

Though some have argued that (if HRC is not the nominee) it’s better to campaign FOR something (to help Mac get elected), rather than AGAINST something (to keep BO from winning), studies show that vetting & shedding light on the negatives (of what you’re fighting against) is an effective strategy. (Also some of us can’t get behind campaigning FOR Mac).

We’re right on track by campaigning AGAINST BO, and driving up his negatives!

——————————-
The following excerpt is talking about a study…. from an article in New Scientist by Dan Jones and Alison Motluk

“Lifting the lid on the science of persuasion”

Overall, people whose preference for a candidate had been expressed in terms of opposition to the other candidate were less likely to modify their opinions. “A simple change in framing – leading people to think of their evaluations in terms of whom they oppose instead of whom they support – leads to stronger, more resistant opinions,” says Bizer.

These findings fit with a broad body of research suggesting that negative information frequently has a more powerful influence than positive messages. So if you want to sway someone when they choose between two options, a good tactic is to be negative about the option you don’t want them to pick.

————————————
We are the resistant movement!

NObama NOvember NO turning back!

I read the powwow post and although most PUMAs do not want to see Hillary as precious VP, think of what a slap in the face it is for him to not ask her. Sorry Hillary, you’re good enough to campaign for me, so I can try and steal your voters and their money. But Honey, you aren’t good enough for me to want as my VP.

If he turns his back on her and she doesn’t overthrow him at the convention, this is one normally peaceful PUMA that will be sharpening my claws on the throats of the obamaBandwagon.

WOW! OMG! This is amazing! I can’t wait for it to explode! That would be a great gift.

I am very worried about one thing. I feel SO STUPID. What do I do? During the primaries I said to my son: “These two men are bad. Hillary is good.” Today when he saw BHO and McCain on TV again he said: “Mommy, these are bad men”. I am now worried that if he says that in school people will think that he’s racist. WHAT DO I DO? HELP!!!

I think I just figured it out~~~he HAS to play the race card because it’s his last and ONLY hope now. While it may not be about “race” in reality, it may be for a short while after the election when he loses, but it may turn out to be a good thing by finally putting this whole thing about ‘race’ to rest for good and people will realize there is only one race~~~the Human Race.

#71OhOhio: I do not believe there is any law on the books anywhere that requires a candidate who wishes to run for President to submit as proof of citizenship a certified birth certificate. This is an example of how some of our laws are way behind the reality of the demographics of this country. Now if Texas Darlin and others can show that in fact the birth certificate put out there is in fact a fraud, then the issue would be raised legally. But since there is no law that requires the person to present a certified birth certificate, as outrageous as it may sound, the burden would still be to prove where he was born. I would love the Republicans to somehow find their own “deepthroat”
who works for the Hawaiian Birth Registry to present anonymously the actual certificate that is supposedly there.

Hi, I just wanted to pop in to say that I just watched Hannity and Colmes. They had Corsi, the author of the new book “Obama Nation” on the show.

The book covers everything, even Raila Odinga and the Memorandum of Understanding for Sharia law, etc etc. Bill Ayers, black liberation theology, etc etc, and the rest of his “many, many” radical associates. It’s a very detailed book, many footnotes, and it’s over 300 pages, etc. I can’t wait to read it to see what he knows.

Also, I JUST noticed that World Net Daily just published something about the Hannity show and the book:

http://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=71087
Remember, this is the author who basically took down Kerry.

Hospital Doctor Slams Obama, Canceled Visit

Thursday, July 31, 2008 3:07 PM

Article Font Size

The McCain campaign issued the following statement today:

Today, Dr. Danny Jazarevic, who served as the Chief of Trauma, Critical Care and Vascular Surgery at Landstuhl, issued the following statement on Barack Obama’s canceled visit to Ramstein and Landstuhl:

“Last week, Senator Obama skipped a visit with wounded U.S. troops at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany because the Pentagon would not allow campaign staff or media to accompany him into the hospital. I served as director of trauma surgery at that hospital for nearly four years and saw the effect that a visit from a celebrity like Senator Obama could have on morale. During that time, I do not recall a single member of Congress canceling a visit with the troops despite being just a few hours away, but Senator Obama seems to have been more concerned with how the visit would affect him than how it would affect the soldiers recovering from wounds received in the service of their country.”

Dr. Danny Jazarevic served as the Chief of Trauma, Critical Care and Vascular Surgery at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. In 1984, Dr. Jazarevic joined the United States Army and later the Florida National Guard. He has since served in Honduras, Africa, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, and Iraq. From December 2002 through January 2006, Dr. Jazarevic was assigned to the U.S. Army Hospital in Landstuhl, Germany, where he served as Chief of Trauma, Critical Care and Vascular Surgery. During this period, he deployed to Iraq numerous times, including with the 101st Airborne Division Forward Surgical Team and as Director of Operations for the 44th U.S. Army Medical Command. He is currently the Chief Trauma Surgeon at a civilian medical center in Florida, and also serves as a full Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. Dr. Jazarevic has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal.

Hey, I just came in from a Hillary meeting. (Denver group)…Was able to connect with a few people that I worked with at Hillary’s headquarters here. The lady running the group has been trying to find a place for Hill supporters to gather in Denver. Everywhere she calls, she is told that NOBAMA people have already reserved the place. Even the Mayor’s office doesn’t want to help.
MONEY CHANGES EVERYTHING !! I was asked to get everyone I know to go to ( Together4us.com) and sign the petition. They are the Hill Raisers, and are collecting signatures to present to Hillary. I was told that it may look like they are supporting NOBAMA, but it is just a smoke screen. So please everyone go there. This is where the big money is !!

However, there is laws about citizenship and the type if your citizenship determines whether you can be President. The big question is was his mother in this country long enough before and after his birth to qualify her citizenship, i.e. qualifying his. To date, all the info. says “NO” when you look at the when she went to Indonesia and returned.

Ok, here goes 3 times I have tried to blog and I get knocked off…So, I’ll try for the last time…..Today, I was in a meeting with a lady who said her daughter was just hired by BO’s campaign to get people to show up in Colorado at the Convention…She just finished college in Santa Barbara, CA. Her Mom is a Hillary Supporter and will vote McCain if Hillary is not the one running against McCain…Can you believe the Bo campaign is paying college students $18.00 per hour to encourage people of their age to show up in Denver in August…Bo is so full of BS……Also, last night on Hannity, Geraldine Ferraro was on and Hannity(Fox News) the only one I watch asked her “would Hillary accept the Vp spot? Geraldine responded..”WHY WOULD SHE”??? I thought that was a great answer….I am so happy to see the polls dropping from BO…Maybe, just maybe, the American People are recovering from the side effects from drinking the Kool-aid?

I have a PumaPac fundraising idea.

We all use this sight because it gives us info, companionship, political focus, refuge from grief, and entertainment. What if we were to commit a certain amount each time we logged on? I probably check in 5 times a day. If I pledge $1.00 for each log-in, I would donate $35.00 a week. Some might pledge .50 or even .25 each time. Pretend it’s a vending machine.

Murphy says we’ve had over 1,000,000 hits. Imagine how much we could raise!

What do you all think?

Brad Evans a sports writer had this to say

“Founding father John Adams summarized the vice presidency best in 1789:

“My country has in its wisdom contrived for me the most insignificant office that ever the invention of man contrived or his imagination conceived.”

In all his austereness, Adams was right. With the exception of possessing the deciding vote in a senate deadlock, presiding over the Electoral College and, in the case of Dick Cheney, scaring the bejesus out of American citizens with evil glares, the Vice President has limited powers and duties.

That is, unless catastrophe strikes the Oval Office.

But for those VPs who never benefited from calamity, their societal contributions are essentially historical footnotes. Flip through a high school history textbook and you would be hard-pressed to find Hannibal Hamlin, Thomas R. Marshall or John Nance Garner mentioned multiple times. However, the accomplishments of their political partners, Lincoln, Wilson and FDR are extolled page after page. ”

In my opinion if Hillary were Vice President, she would be the one doing all of the work, since BO hasn’t done any of his own work to date, and BO would take the credit. Hillary is too smart to let that happen.

So, my fellow PUMA, in the Square outside of my office, the DNS Obots were swarming today. I was coming back from lunch and the bookstore, so was in good mood… so the DNC girl who caught my attention, approached me, and we started talking. I told her I was a PUMA Democrat, she did not know about us… I told me, and all of these groups, are very upset with the DNC and Party Leadership over the sexism in the media… and she wanted to know more, she was very sweet, and said she noticed what went on with the media and Hillary, and she said she supports us for working to make sure this never happens again. I told her to look us up, PUMA PAC. Oh yeah, when she remembered her purpose, she started to ask me about Barack Obama, and I started on how he is NOT for me, that he did not stand up for Hillary when the media were cutting her to death, she said, “I noticed that, I thought that myself, why wasn’t he saying anything? You are right…”

So I hope she finds us, and learns about what is happening in the land of reality outside of Bama HQ’s.

That is how I found PUMA PAC, noticing the PUMA comments on blogs expressing the same feelings as I have, then I finally saw PUMA PAC on a Youtube comment, and I googled it and came right in and never looked back. All we have to do is speak the truth, and if they’ve not become drunk with the kool-aid, we can reach them. One person at a time.

It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Disgusting…..!!! However, I will never give up and I will keep on and I just know if Hillary is not the nominee then, I will work for McCain…..

We practiced on each other. :) He gave each of us a name: Leutenant, our last name. He taught us all of the songs whicht they sang in the military. :) Now he is not teaching our kids any of this. Maybe he wants us to teach them. ;) I’ll start to work on it. :)

Or print one, or save them to a disk and take them to Kinkos, etc. Probably cost less than a new ink cartridge.
The lighter one will use less ink, obviously.

Sorry everyone – my meeting just ended – we’re redoing our kitchen and the architect and designers were here tonight.
Anyway, back to my Israel friend. He says the article that we’ve all been reading about the Wailing Wall and the stolen prayer is one of the most radical, black and white, religious newspapers over there.
He said the most reliable Israeli source is
http://www.ynetnews.com/home/0,7340,L-3083.html-
There is a place on the top menu where you can click on English. I haven’t had a minute to check it out yet, but am going to now.
But,he doesn’t believe that article that we’ve been reading is the accurate depiction of the story.
He also said that Israeli reporters are way more aggressive than American reporters and will not stop until they have the story. So, I’m off to check out this site and see if I can find their version of the situation.

Also, Friends of Bill W., I have 28 years in October.
Had enough to drink by 1980. Good to know there are some of you here……’
One more thing…..news here (in OHio)just said that the race is a virtual tie here…..while BO was leading by 6 points a month ago, tonight they are tied. Go Go Go

I wouldn’t mind a bit if Obama paid me $18 bucks an hour to go out and recruit for him. Not everyone WORKS for their money and just think how much more I’d have to donate to PUMA. LOL Wonder how many more flyers
18 bucks an hour could buy.

**** CORRECTION ****

In my last post (#56) where I discussed the effectiveness and power of campaigning against (BO), based on studies on persuasion, I was rushed in trying to complete the post since I had to go out… and in my rush wrote:
“We are the resistant movement”
…. it should have read:

WE ARE THE RESISTANCE MOVEMENT

WE ARE THE RESISTANCE MOVEMENT

WE ARE THE RESISTANCE MOVEMENT

————-
Google “the resistance movement” and you’ll see how appropriate the term is for what we’re up to.

Anyway, I’ll repost the post with the correction (& a couple of other corrections too).

Obama’s trip to Israel a photo opportunity aimed at America’s Jewish voters

Roni Sofer Published: 07.27.08, 10:44 / Israel Opinion

“You think Obama came here in order to solve Israel’s problems? No, this is an election campaign visit. His words are not aimed at Israeli ears, but rather, at the Jewish vote in the United States” – this is what a senior official associated with Defense Minister Ehud Barak said a few minutes after US presidential hopeful Barack Obama left the police station in Sderot.

All that Obama wanted in his one busy day in Israel was a good photograph. The media-covered journey that saw him visit seven countries in eight days was meant to show that Obama can be the president of the world’s greatest power.

Visit’s End

US is Israel’s true friend, says Obama at Western Wall / Neta Sela

Democratic presidential hopeful rounds up visit to Israel by praying at holiest Jewish site, meeting with Wall’s rabbi. America, he stresses, will continue to look out for Israel’s security needs
Full story

He wanted to show people that he knows what to do, that he understands the issues, and that he can sink with authoritative comfort into the couches of world leaders hosting him. He only came in order to be photographed, say things that are already known to everyone, and not annoying anyone too much; not to make any mistakes on the way to the White House.

Obama made several declarations, virtually all of them expected. In respect to Jerusalem: Israel’s eternal capital. In respect to Iran: Talk to it using big sticks and big carrots. In respect to Hamas in Gaza: It is difficult for Israel to talk to those who do not recognize its existence. In respect to the rockets: Had my daughters been sleeping in a home that is attacked by missiles, I would have done everything to stop it. In respect to Mahmoud Abbas: We need to take advantage of the window of opportunity with moderates like him on the other side. I will work to continue the dialogue. And finally, in respect to the US: Israel’s greatest friend and ally.

Sderot, which has been enjoying several weeks of calm while Hamas is growing stronger, is a good backdrop for a photo to be sent back home. The extras at the Israeli photo site were the following figures: The Amar family, whose home was destroyed by a rocket and has yet to be rebuilt; Osher Twito, the child who lost his leg in a Qassam attack; Prime Minister Ehud Olmert; President Shimon Peres; Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni; Defense Minister Ehud Barak; Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter; Sderot Mayor Eli Moyal; and Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski.

The movie itself will be screened in Washington in November, during the presidential elections.

Say cheese, everyone
Yet the desire to be photographed was not only reserved to the senator from Illinois, but also encompassed the members of the Israeli government. Two days before the traditional flight over Israel, Barak asked Livni to join the tour. Livni agreed, and an IDF major general had to skip the trip to make room for the defense minister.

In practice, Barak was the one who dominated the talk with the senator, while the foreign minister remained silent most of the time.

Livni was supposed to take a leading role in Sderot, yet Minister Avi Dichter arrived there and took advantage of Obama’s visit to the police station in town in order to present his doctrine to the presidential candidate.

Advertisement

Dichter spoke about his Holocaust-surviving mother, which resides in Ashkelon, not too far from Gaza. He told Obama about the family he raises there, about the thousands of rockets and mortar shells that have been fired so far, and about the continued military buildup of Hamas and other terror group. Israel won’t allow a terror entity to be established between us and Egypt Dichter told Obama.

Meanwhile, a senior figure associated with the foreign minister said: “Livni scored points with her gesture to Barak. She showed noble leadership. She showed that she can be a prime minister, and that she will have a good defense minister. She showed that both of them can cooperate.”

Hi PUMAs

I was at work during prowl time today – so I’ll send an email to The View tomorrow and I’ll also send emails to the SD’s that BO bought using the “script” that came in the prowl.

I finished sending my 2nd round of SD letters to all 50 states through lobbydelegates.com tonight.

I’m also participating in the letter-writing campaigns at http://www.NotFallingInLine.org . The process is VERY easy and quick and gets our word out, again and again, with every email.

All of these letters just have to make a difference. Even if they don’t read them, the sheer volume has to be a powerful statement!

Have a nice evening, everyone :)

I am now about to vomit, I just watched AC360, listening to David Gergen talking about how Obama has to fight against the “race issue”

WTF???

When has the McCain camp or the HRC camp brought up race?

Gergen is saying people thinks he’s a muslim. Well, most muslims that I know are of Indian or Afghani or Iraqui decent, not black. And even if they are black, it doesn’t matter, no one has ever brought up the race issue except the Obama campaign.

I need to get my work visa for another country…

We’re right on track by campaigning AGAINST BO, and driving up his negatives.

——————————-
The following excerpt is talking about a study on persuasion…. from an article in New Scientist by Dan Jones and Alison Motluk

*** These findings fit with a broad body of research suggesting that negative information frequently has a more powerful influence than positive messages. So if you want to sway someone when they choose between two options, a good tactic is to be negative about the option you don’t want them to pick. ***

Dear pumas

*** I wish I had more time to interact with y’all during the day… It’s usually not until very late at night when I have more time to go through all the posts and write more thoughtfully.

Sometimes I want to respond to some posts (& sometimes I do), but I know at that time most people are in bed (even here in the West Coast) and hardly anyone will see my reply.

My reply:

Seattlegirl, RE: your post downstairs about the woman you met who believes BO is a sort of Messiah ushering in a New World Order, I am not surprised. I live in the S.F. Bay Area and there’s a fair amount of that BO mania around here. My wife, like you, also met a women with beliefs like the one you described. There was even an article in a local paper about this phenomenon.

It’s one of the things that’s so scary about BO… that he evokes, in so many people (especially the young folks), this kind of fanaticism and delusion… Kind’a reminds me of Jim Jones, Castro or even Hitler.

When people are in that deluded a spell, and blindly worship a demagogue, they can be led in any direction and to accept anything…

And based on BO’s history of shady associations and involvements, I’m very concerned about where he might try to lead our nation!

PROBABLY BECAUSE, MURPHY IS OLDDIRT’S GREAT FRIEND – BUT FERRARO AND STEINHEM -GOOD GRACIOUS!! WHERE ARE THOSE WOMEN WHO WERE YELLING AND SCREAMING ABOUT SEXISM ALL SPRING – HAVE THEY LEFT THE PLANET???

Anyway, PA Dem, I believe it’s the Ma’ariv that is the radical paper altho’ he said the only one he really trusts is the one I noted above. He said it was like the CNN of Israel…I responded….and that’s supposed to impress me? LOL…..
Good night everyone. Having trouble getting posted tonight…..keep getting kicked out. OY VeYS Mere Maria!

Evening Fellow PUMA’S,
Well it must be official that the DNC no longer wants me. I replyed to every email from them and BO & MO tonight, 6 all together and every one I got an undeliverable message back. That has never happened. Must had been my PROUD PUMA & 1 0f 18,000,000 signature. I have felt rejection before from a friend when they found out I was gay.But to be rejected by a family who you have been loyal to for over 30 years just because you disagree with them and you fight for what you believe to be the truth is devastating. To be preaching unity and practicing division goes aginst our core principles I have always believed in. All I have to hope for, no that’s not it. How was it put, oh yeah all I have to CLING to is one day calmer and wiser “WO”men will take the lead and guide not only our party but this country to the greatness we once knew. I will not lose sleep, I will not shed a tear. I will stand with my head high, I will speak the truth and I will see a brighter tomorrow as I hear the PUMA roar with it’s choir of voices. Voices that will not be silenced and a fight that will carry on.

#251 kat in your hat on 07.31.08 at 11:53 pm

rob3gd:

It’s always good to try to ignore and avoid anti-puma places.

However, I will say that since it IS on Barack Obama’s official website, then Barack Obama is directly responsible for the content that is oozing out of it.

If they care at all for their candidate, they will not get on his website and publish such things as:

“MAYBE PEOPLE REALLY ARE STARTING TO REALIZE HOW DELUSIONAL, DEMONIC, SCHIZOD DEMENTED OLDDIRT IS!!”

It’s really rather pathetic that Barack Obama allows such hatred against John McCain to be aired on his Official Campaign Website.

I noticed that Bill O’Reilly did a small segment on Daily Kos comments (and how nasty they are) on his show this evening.

I consider this a bigger story that he would be interested in.

Just letting interested parties know….

NOW, I will drop it, and not discuss it here again.

If what he said is true and that Ma’ariv is the radical paper, why would a radical religious paper post a note without permission? He had to have gotten permission. There’s just no other logic to it.

Now that you’ve posted that they’ll probably scrub the site clean… like they have with all Obama’s flip flop positions. Or like the paper trail of his life, beginning with birth certificate.

#258 MountainSong on 07.31.08 at 11:58 pm

Here’s an ‘affirmation’: Give the Creator the gift of a thankful heart. Try to see causes of thankfulness in your everyday life. When life seems hard and troubles crowd, then look for some reasons for thankfulness. There is nearly always something you can be thankful for. The offering of thanksgiving is indeed a sweet incense going up to the creator throughout a busy day. Seek diligently for something to be glad and thankful about. You will acquire in time the habit of being constantly grateful to the Creator for all the Creator’s gifts and blessings. Each new day some new cause for joy and gratitude will spring to your mind and you will thank the Crator sincerely.
Today, my positive affirmation is that Obama will lose the election and peace and prosperity will return to all America, and all the Creator’s world.

Funny stuff. Excerpt:
His (Obama’s) energy policy of inflating tires, getting a tune-up and waiting 20-30 years for his development of alternative energies (see his website) will not only make him lose but he could take Congress with him.

For those interested in Obama’s birth certificate, Texas Darlin has an article posted at NoQuarter (link on the blog roll on the right hand side of this screen).

US Navy welcomes the USS Bill Clinton

Sunday, July 2, 2006 Vancouver , BC . Headed for Seattle, WA., the US Navy welcomed the latest member of its fleet today.

The USS William Jefferson Clinton (CVS1) set sail today from its home port of Vancouver , BC.

The ship is the first of its kind in the Navy and is a standing legacy to President Bill Clinton ‘for his foresight in military budget cuts’ and his conduct while president.

The ship is constructed nearly entirely from recycled aluminum and is completely solar powered with a top speed of 5 knots.
It boasts an arsenal comprised of one (unarmed) F14 Tomcat or one (unarmed) F18 Hornet aircraft which, although they cannot be launched or captured on the 100 foot flight deck, form a very menacing presence.

As a standing order there are no firearms allowed on board.

The 20 person crew is completely diversified, including members of all races, creeds, sex, and sexual orientation.

This crew, like the crew aboard the USS Jimmy Carter, is specially trained to avoid conflicts and appease any and all enemies of the United States at all costs.!

An onboard Type One DNC Universal Translator can send out messages of apology in any language to anyone who may find America offensive. The number of apologies are limitless and though some may seem hollow and disingenuous, the Navy advises all apologies will sound very sincere.

The ship’s purpose is not defined so much as a unit of national defense, but instead in times of conflict, the USS Clinton has orders to seek refuge in Canada .
The ship may be positioned near the Democratic National Party Headquarters for photo-ops. The Clin-toons Should be very proud.

snowtiger — great!

like dwp says, BO is going down in November. More than half of Democrats can’t stand the guy and we KNOW how the Republicans and Independents view him . . .

even if they never get on the internet or hold a sign or pass out a flyer — so many millions of Americans will NOT vote for Obama that he WILL be losing in November.

TOPIC: Examiner Post re-Denver & PUMA

This was posted on clintondems tonite, dunno if you’ve seen it already or not but thought it worth reposting!

Is the DNC in Denver?
http://www.examiner.com/x-367-Politics-Examiner~y2008m7d30-Denver-Or-is-this-Tombstone

For the first time in over three decades I will be glued in front of the television for the first three days of the convention. The first ballot is sure to be a made for television moment.

I talked to a Clinton delegate here in Maryland and he told me that they have been instructed to vote for Hillary on the first ballot. To make things more interesting, there is a movement to swing 160 delegates from Obama to Clinton. If that occurs, Clinton could re-establish her campaign and face John McCain in the fall.

#318 murphy on 08.01.08 at 12:52 am

sandipuma — republicans are pretty funny.

well, no they’re not — but that made me smile and made me wish there was no such thing as war and no need for warships.

Bill Clinton was a special president. I was 23 when he entered office it’s taken 16 years for me to understand how much of an impact he had. Bill Clinton was a DEMOCRAT. Not perfect, not at all — but LORD wouldn’t it be nice to have someone so smart and compassionate and politically savvy (for us!) in the White House again?

[[ My grandfather taught us about Hitler and WW2 since we were little. His whole family was killed by Nazis.]]

I am of Italian-American decent. When I was about 14 I happened to pick out and open a book on the holocast at our public library… and as soon as I did I wanted to vomit, the intensity of the feeling was soooooooo overwhelming; I just had to put the book back on its shelf.

Then, some months later, an elderly gentleman who was friend to my mom and dad gave me a Times-Library book on the history of the Jewish people as a christmas gift… it was a very special gift from him. I kept it but could not read it. I could not look at those pictures.

And I am not even a Jew, so I can just imagine how it must be for a Jewish person to have to relive those aweful events in our world history.

Not to belittle your experiences by changing the topic, but the moment I saw BHO’s seal I thought something was strange with it, until my husband pointed out that the Eagle he used was Hitler’s eagle.

That doesn’t bode well for BHO.

#329 hillstheone on 08.01.08 at 12:56 am

SouthJersey & Jenni:
I just clicked on the “comments” link on that article & saw this funny one:

Allen Hoban: To answer Cafferty, former President Bill Clinton, is on his annual visit to Africa to continue his humanitarian efforts to eliminate HIV/AIDS, eliminate malaria and create sustainable development.

Senator Clinton is in San Francisco, being a loyal Democrat, campaigning for Obama.

And Barack? He is in the news, once more claiming that the race card is being played against him.

And not keeping his promise to a Kenyan village.

~~~
Anyway feel free to post there as it appears some good PUMA’s posted there already today!
#330 sandipuma on 08.01.08 at 12:57 am
Just close your eyes and picture Hillary ,Bill and Chelsea how great they looked together walking all together outside their home around the yeard. They seemed like a happy family in that scene
#331 DancesWithPumas on 08.01.08 at 12:57 am
My hairdresser and I were talking yesterday… I told him I was involved in PUMA… I talked about the primaries, the DNC /RBC, Super Delegates, etc.
He, a lifelong Democrat, about Obama said: “Yeah. There’s something about that guy… I don’t know what it is… I just don’t trust him.”
TOPIC: short CNN rant re: Roland
That guy on CNN named Roland (whatshisname??) geesh how he ALWAYS rationalizes _everything_ about Obama. Does he get on my nerves or what?!
And it’s funny cause sometimes cnn.com asks their visitors, “visit roland’s web page and post questions for him there!” “as if” Roland can answer anything thats on MY mind, ha.
Some pretty damn funny ideas for questions always roll through my mind, Roll-and!!
#335 jenniforhillary on 08.01.08 at 1:01 am
as a jew, I will tell you that my entire family is both mad and sad. he is the big lie all over again, except this time we will not go quietly into the night.
I have always fought for the underdog. I will give you the shirt off my back and promise you my next one too, but do not lie to me and tell me you love me.
The penalty for playing his game should be the worst penalty there is. And many democrats will be paying this price….
And when I think of Hillary waiting in the wings, OMG can this really be happening?
I saw this post on the precious site too, Walnut Creek is where I live. Lamorinda is a school district that includes Lafayette, Orinda and Walnut Creek. This person is a chicken sh!t that has a big mouth and doesn’t have the bells to leave his real high school name. Punk, I want to know who he is (I am pretty sure no woman would write something like that) and go over to his house and stamp paw prints across his face after I kick his @ss. Yipes, I wasn’t even on the O’blahblah site for 2 minutes and I am already to rumble. Heaven help me in Denver. :lol:
hillstheone, now you are gonna get me in trouble. I had NO idea I could get close to Roland. He is on the top 10 of my list of people who will get a can of Whoop Ass with a bow from me when all is said and done.
In addition to that, he should have to listen to himself on an endless tape WHILE sitting in a jail cell in Gitmo with Bush, Cheney, and the whole bunch of them!
“And who the hell puts pineapple on a pizza? I ask you.”
Italian and Greek here. I did time at Ashland University for a year. Finals week… me cramming… no time to waste with cooking. Order a pepperoni and cheese (cheese was an extra… otherwise it’s the dough and sauce only), the guy delivers it. I’m ravenous. I open it up. :::::::::::THUD::::::::: dough, check, sauce, check.
big orange yellow squares of american cheese AND big thin rounds of BALOGNA!
Plus it was cut into little finger food diamonds 2 inches long. I ate two diamonds and threw the rest of teh pie away.
Why Hillary’s ladies are angry: it’s the numbers, stupid
Posted on July 31st, 2008 by Nancy Reyes
Problem one: two primaries were disqualified and given only partial delegates as a punishment for rescheduling the primary votes early. By not the votes to count, or alternatively by not allowing a revote, these people lost their votes.
Problem two: The caucuses went to Obama big time.
It is easy for well organized groups (in this case the “Move On” left) to win caucuses.
Problem three: The popular vote in the Democratic primaries was essentially tied.
Problem four: The caucus voting, by being so “pro Obama” essentially allowed a disproportionate number of Obama delegates to be chosen.
#345 jenniforhillary on 08.01.08 at 1:05 am
murphy, are you here?
#346 hillstheone on 08.01.08 at 1:06 am
jenni: Wow I only am irritated / slightly scornful of the guy, you’ve got it bad!
But the good thing about Roland is we’re going to roll him down the hall & give him a hall pass and never have to listen to his B.S. again in the very near future…!
I was thinkingof race since Carpathia has chosen to use it (again).
What is “black” in America?
A black American has a history in this country. Not a pretty one to be sure but a history that has shaped and developed the African American Community.
Think about it. From slavery through Jim Crow the civil rights movement. The stories that a grandfather or mother could tell their grandchildren would be amazing.
In my family I learned a lot sitting around the kitchen table and at Sunday dinners. I’m sure most have. Now that uniqe history of black America is an amazing thing.
One that Carpathia doesn’t have.
None of his ancestors were slaves. None fought in the civil rights movement or had to endure Jim Crow. He didn’t grow up learning from his parents why America is great from that perspective. Why human rights and democracy are so important.
I realize the sensitive nature of this topic and Murphy feel free to delete this post if you think it might lead to unsavory comments or a bad reflection on PUMA. It was just something I had to get off my chest.
You do a little damage control by telling your son that either of these to men would be bad for our country if elected and that Hillary would make the better President, my momma says. ~smile
#351 DancesWithPumas on 08.01.08 at 1:08 am
From Texas Darlin’s article at NoQuarter:
“Summary of Obama’s Deception
Barack Obama has misled and deceived the American public about his dual identity, dual citizenship, religious background, and birth records.
He was, and possibly still is, a citizen of Indonesia.
Contrary to Obama’s public statements that he’s “always been a Christian” Obama was at one time a Muslim.
His Hawaiian Birth Certificate reveals the legal name Barry Soetoro. His original Birth Certificate, with the name Barack H. Obama, was sealed.
That is why the Birth Certificate published on his campaign website “FightTheSmears” is fake. Barack Obama does not want you to know about his Soetoro identity.”
well sandi, you just blew me away with those kind words. I feel the same way about you. About most everyone here.
:lol: Yes, I did try cutting a sponge into a paw print and two hours later tossed it in the trash. :-) Much better to either buy a stamp, or like I did, trace a paw print onto clear plastic sheeting, (the stiff stuff that goes into a printer), and cut out the paw and toes. Mix up some acrylic paint, grab a sponge and dab the holes like you would a stencil. I have been putting paw prints on everything thing. If you go to Denver you will see me a mile away.
Rock on.
snow, as a jew i grew up hearing those stories. And my family is especially keen to the plight of other minorities. that man is not a minority, he is a monster.
You do not use the suffering of others to run for office. But that is his raison d’etre. His suffering is mostly figurative (i.e. not enough money, not powerful enough, etc. etc). ANY poor person in America has suffered more than him and his wife put together.
I purchased a copy the moment it was released but still have not received it.
[[ WILL SEND $25.00 by snail mail. Sorry i’m new on computers and do not know how to use paypal]]
You use PayPal the same way you would order anything over the internet by using a credit card of your choice. You do not need to have a paypal account to purchase something.
However, PayPals page uses very tiny print, and has several options … one of those options is specifically for those who have a paypal account… so just take your time, read the entire page by scrolling down the entire page, and make sure you click on the right payment option.
Look for the words, More options and run your mouse curser over it… if its a link try it…. It just might bring you to the right source.
@359 Jenni,
You are so right. I heard the stories in my own family. The sweat shops the “no Wops allowed” clubs and all the rest.
Not as bad as what many others have had to put up with but still part of who we are.
I also grew up listening to the stories of the company stores that my father fought against back in the fifties. It shapes us. Develops a certain sense of fairness towards others when we hear our own family talking about such things. Makes it personal.
Carpathia lacks that. I believe he sees people as tools. Nothing more.
The many are there for the benefit of the few and by their divine right.
Her name is Barbara, African American, over 60, had marched with Dr. King. She was so angry over Obama that you could hear in her voice how much she was shaking. Said she’d never vote for that man. The secret ingredient of GREAT New York pizza is the water!
An Italian friend of mine here, went to NYC for the first time in April. His uncles own Italian delis, restaurants, oizza places, etc. all over this county. When he returned, he said he finally understood why people from back east were always saying they couldn;t find good pizza out here. He agrees with them now!
Full Quote, below:
“Best Answer – Chosen by Asker
The “An American Expat in Southeast Asia” blog reports that Obama’s Indonesian schooling began when he was entered into the Roman Catholic, Franciscus Assisi Primary School on January 1, 1968 and sat in class 1B. He was registered under the name Barry Soetoro, serial number 203. School documents listed Barry Soetoro as an Indonesian citizen and his religion was listed as Islam. He will spend three years at Franciscus.
Catholic schools accept non-Catholics worldwide. Non-Catholic students are typically excused from religious instruction and ceremony.
1971
Obama’s family moves from H Ramir Street to Dempo Street and Obama enters the 4th grade at the Besuki Primary School, a government school. He was enrolled as Barry Soetoro, Muslim.
1971
All Indonesian students are required to study religion at school and a young Barry Soetoro, being a Muslim, would have been required to study Islam daily in school.
He would have been taught to read and write Arabic, to recite his prayers properly, to read and recite from the Quran and to study the laws of Islam.
In his autobiography, “Dreams From My Father,” Obama mentions studying the Quran and describes the public school as “a Muslim school.”
According to Tine Hahiyary, one of Obama’s teachers and the principal from 1971 through 1989, Barry actively took part in the Islamic religious lessons during his time at the school. His teacher was named Maimunah and she lived in the Puncak area, the Cianjur Regency. “I remembered that he had studied “mengaji” (recitation of the Quran)” Tine said.
Obama himself recalls, “In the Muslim school, the teacher wrote to tell mother I made faces during Koranic studies.”
Our guy in Jakarta writes: “The actual usage of the word ‘mengaji’ in Indonesian and Malaysian societies means the study of learning to recite the Quran in the Arabic language rather than the native tongue. “Mengagi” is a word and a term that is accorded the highest value and status in the mindset of fundamentalist societies here in Southeast Asia. To put it quite simply, ‘mengaji classes’ are not something that a non practicing or so-called moderate Muslim family would ever send their child to. To put this in a Christian context, this is something above and beyond simply enrolling your child in Sunday school classes.”
“The fact that Obama had attended mengaji classes is well known in Indonesia and has left many there wondering just when Obama is going to come out of the closet.”
“As I’ve stated before, the evidence seems to quite clearly show that both Ann Dunham and her husband Lolo Soetoro Mangunharjo were in fact devout Muslims themselves and they raised their son as such.”
These are the values of Obama’s church:
Commitment to God. “The God of our weary years” will give us the strength to give up prayerful passivism and become Black Christian Activists, soldiers for Black freedom and the dignity of all humankind.
Commitment to the Black Community. The highest level of achievement for any Black person must be a contribution of strength and continuity of the Black Community.
Commitment to the Black Family. The Black family circle must generate strength, stability and love, despite the uncertainty of externals, because these characteristics are required if the developing person is to withstand warping by our racist competitive society.
Those Blacks who are blessed with membership in a strong family unit must reach out and expand that blessing to the less fortunate.
Dedication to the Pursuit of Education. We must forswear anti-intellectualism. Continued survival demands that each Black person be developed to the utmost of his/her mental potential despite the inadequacies of the formal education process. “Real education” fosters understanding of ourselves as well as every aspect of our environment. Also, it develops within us the ability to fashion concepts and tools for better utilization of our resources, and more effective solutions to our problems. Since the majority of Blacks have been denied such learning, Black Education must include elements that produce high school graduates with marketable skills, a trade or qualifications for apprenticeships, or proper preparation for college.
Basic education for all Blacks should include Mathematics, Science, Logic, General Semantics, Participative Politics, Economics and Finance, and the Care and Nurture of Black minds.
Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence. To the extent that we individually reach for, even strain for excellence, we increase, geometrically, the value and resourcefulness of the Black Community. We must recognize the relativity of one’s best; this year’s best can be bettered next year. Such is the language of growth and development. We must seek to excel in every endeavor.
Adherence to the Black Work Ethic. “It is becoming harder to find qualified people to work in Chicago.” Whether this is true or not, it represents one of the many reasons given by businesses and industries for deserting the Chicago area. We must realize that a location with good facilities, adequate transportation and a reputation for producing skilled workers will attract industry. We are in competition with other cities, states and nations for jobs. High productivity must be a goal of the Black workforce.
Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect. To accomplish anything worthwhile requires self-discipline. We must be a community of self-disciplined persons if we are to actualize and utilize our own human resources, instead of perpetually submitting to exploitation by others. Self-discipline, coupled with a respect for self, will enable each of us to be an instrument of Black Progress and a model for Black Youth.
Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness.” Classic methodology on control of captives teaches that captors must be able to identify the “talented tenth” of those subjugated, especially those who show promise of providing the kind of leadership that might threaten the captor’s control.
Those so identified are separated from the rest of the people by:
Killing them off directly, and/or fostering a social system that encourages them to kill off one another.
Placing them in concentration camps, and/or structuring an economic environment that induces captive youth to fill the jails and prisons.
Seducing them into a socioeconomic class system which, while training them to earn more dollars, hypnotizes them into believing they are better than others and teaches them to think in terms of “we” and “they” instead of “us.”
So, while it is permissible to chase “middleclassness” with all our might, we must avoid the third separation method – the psychological entrapment of Black “middleclassness.” If we avoid this snare, we will also diminish our “voluntary” contributions to methods A and B. And more importantly, Black people no longer will be deprived of their birthright: the leadership, resourcefulness and example of their own talented persons.
Pledge to Make the Fruits of All Developing and Acquired Skills Available to the Black Community.
Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions.
Pledge Allegiance to All Black Leadership Who Espouse and Embrace the Black Value System.
Personal Commitment to Embracement of the Black Value System. To measure the worth and validity of all activity in terms of positive contributions to the general welfare of the Black Community and the Advancement of Black People towards freedom.
Now substitute every word that says “black” with “white” and ask yourself if we would be racist or what would Jesse Jackson or Al say?
This does speak of harmony with our fellow Americans of all race.
From Allegre’s on Cyber-stalking:
according to wikipedia:
It has been defined as the use of information and communications technology, particularly the Internet, by an individual or group of individuals, to harass another individual, group of individuals, or organization. The behavior includes false accusations, monitoring, the transmission of threats, identity theft, damage to data or equipment, the solicitation of minors for sexual purposes, and gathering information for harassment purposes. The harassment must be such that a reasonable person, in possession of the same information, would regard it as sufficient to cause another reasonable person distress.[1]
“Now substitute every word that says “black” with “white” and ask yourself if we would be racist or what would Jesse Jackson or Al say?”
I get your point but the substitution trick isn’t as effective, doesnt work as well, when you’re substituting an oppressed minority with the dominant race of a culture, or the oppressor of the minority.
Barak Hussein Obama – Who is he?
After only being a U.S. Senator for a couple of years, Barak Hussein Obama, Democrat Senator from Chicago, has managed to catapult himself to the status of a messiah in the Democrat Party. The result is that ever since, he’s been walking on water toward the White House.
Obama says after his visit with friends and family in Hawaii during the 2006 year-end holidays, he’ll announce if he’s going to run for president in 2008.
Bets are that he will.
Who is Obama and what has he done?
Independent columnist, Andy Martin (Out2.com) says he believes Obama is a political fraud who “lied to the American people.”
Martin says Obama may be a threat to the Jewish community because he is a closet Muslim.”
Birth Certificate: Obama, Soetoro, or Dunham?
Texas Darlin ^ | 7/30/08 | TD
Posted on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 20:00:27 by pissant
Full post below:
_______________________
“NOTE: This post attempts to summarize the status of our investigation and current theories. (Links at end.) Guest Author Judah Benjamin has given us three well-researched articles, so far, challenging Barack Obama’s eligibility to be President. He argues that the Constitution restricts people with “divided loyalties” from being POTUS, including those who have had multiple citizenships, and he hypothesizes that Sen. Obama became a citizen of Indonesia when he was adopted by his step-father, Lolo Soetoro. Benjamin also questions whether Obama may still possess Indonesian citizenship. To his credit, Benjamin offers to publish an apology to Sen. Obama if documentation disproving the assertions is shown.
WHAT ABOUT THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?
Technical experts Techdude and Polarik still maintain that the Certification of Live Birth (COLB) published on the Obama campaign’s official website, FightTheSmears, was forged. I have expressed skepticism about that, not because I question their skills, but because I find it hard to fathom that Obama, as audacious as he is, would publish a forged COLB. When a newspaper announcement of Obama’s birth in Hawaii was discovered, I stated my belief that Obama was likely born in Honolulu. But I have maintained that Obama is hiding something about his birth record.
SOETORO, OBAMA, OR DUNHAM? MY THEORY ON THE COLB
Thanks to Judah Benjamin’s work, the mystery of Obama’s COLB is quickly being solved — at least in my mind. Here is my current theory of events:
1. Obama was born in Hawaii on Aug. 4, 1961, with the legal name Barack Hussein Obama II, and Barack H. Obama Sr. was identified as his legal father. [NOTE: an alternative theory, that Obama was born in Canada, is still being researched.]
2. Obama was adopted by Lolo Soetoro in Hawaii sometime around 1965-1966.
3. As part of the adoption procedure, pursuant to Hawaiian law, Obama’s original Birth Certificate (BC) was SEALED, and a new Birth Certificate was issued with his new name, Barry Soetoro, and the name of his new father, Lolo Soetoro.
4. Mother and son joined Soetoro in Indonesia, where Barry Soetoro was registered in school as Lolo’s son, a Muslim, and a citizen of Indonesia.
5. After approximately 4 years, Barry Soetoro returned to Hawaii as a U.S. citizen to live with his grandparents, the Dunhams, and attend private school.
6. At some point before his 18th birthday, he most likely changed his legal name back to Barack Hussein Obama, but his Birth Certificate would not have been modified again unless there was another adoption (by the Dunhams, for example).
So….IF the above-stated hypotheses are correct, Obama’s current Birth Certificate in Hawaii would identify him as Barry Soetoro and his father would be Lolo Soetoro (unless, as stated, there was another adoption).
Upon request by the registrant (Sen. Obama), the State of Hawaii would issue a COLB in the name of Soetoro for child and father. Is this why the Senator has avoided showing his Birth Certificate? And is this why — if Polarik and Techdude are correct — the COLB published by Obama has been altered?
QUESTIONS:
1. Did Obama’s childhood passport identify him as Soetoro or Obama, or did he have two?
2. If there is a Kenyan Birth Certificate, how was that obtained? (NOTE: One of our researchers still believes that Obama was born in Canada because of the existence of the Kenyan BC, among other reasons, and we will explore that shortly.)
3. Was Barry Soetoro adopted a second time when he returned to Hawaii, perhaps by the Dunhams? (IF there was a second adoption, there would have been another legal change to the BC.)
4. Does Barack Obama hold Indonesian citizenship today, or did he renounce it at some point?
AND FINALLY –
5. If any or all of these hypothesized facts are TRUE, why has Senator Obama deceived the American public?
“WASHINGTON – Sen. Barack Obama fought back against an allegation that he was educated at a radical Islamic school as a child in Indonesia, determined to avoid being tripped up by unsubstantiated charges like those that undermined John Kerry in 2004.
Interviews by The Associated Press at the elementary school in Jakarta found that it’s a public and secular institution that has been open to students of all faiths since before the White House hopeful attended in the late 1960s.
Obama, who was born in Hawaii, moved to Indonesia at age 6 to live with his mother and stepfather, attending schools in the country until age 10, when he returned to Hawaii to live with his maternal grandparents.”
“‘ok..im more confused than ever…lol
..so in laymans terms….this means that he lost his US citizenship when he was adopted ? Because Kenya doesn’t have dual citizenship ?
The law stipulates that children of mixed couples automatically assume their father’s citizenship, and a divorced wife cannot take custody of her
children because they have different citizenship.”
“his or her relationship to the birth parents is severed by adoption“
So he has been using the very first Birth Certificate that is no longer in effect ?
And so when he went back to Hawaii to get his birthcertificate was not what he thought it was…so he had to alter it ?”
doria oh I know it’s just so stupid, I am just glad foxnews is saying loud and clean BO is playing the race card “AGAIN” that is what he does when he is not winning by large numbers. If people cared that he was black he wouldn’t have made it as far as he did so he really needs to drop it.
#472 LibertyPuma on 08.01.08 at 8:03 am
oops…the line in Kid Rock’s song is “feeling guilty for being white”. ( not ashamed )
Do you thing the super Delegates will have the cahoonas to overturn their vote at the DNC?
#473 slyt2 on 08.01.08 at 8:03 am
LibertyPuma oh congrats on the newest addition to your family. I heard that song on Ellen I really liked it(by Kid Rock)
#474 LibertyPuma on 08.01.08 at 8:05 am
Got a letter from BO just now….. they do not stop
#475 slyt2 on 08.01.08 at 8:05 am
Joe on morning Joe just said that BO is the one who brought the race card into this election.. Tiki Barber is saying No he didn’t but Joe is holding his ground…
Puma-SF, on August 1st, 2008 at 2:00 am Said:
Man, I have a ton of pictures and tomorrow SimoFish will publish the video she took while Hillary was speaking.
Originally it was labeled an event to help pay down her debt but some how it morphed into a unity event. Hell, there were about 10 Pumas that I know for sure but I’m sure there were more. Afterwards we all stood around and told each other our pen names.
She said that she thinks it would help unify the party if her name was put into nomination and that she wants her supporters and delegates to be recognized and heard.
I shook her hand. I hugged her and I told her to sign the petition that she would win and that we had her back.
#477 LibertyPuma on 08.01.08 at 8:07 am
Thank you Sly. Do you think the SD’s will change ther votes at the DNC?
#478 Notyoursweetie on 08.01.08 at 8:07 am
My personal feelings about the “race card”
#479 Notyoursweetie on 08.01.08 at 8:09 am
I am a racist
#480 slyt2 on 08.01.08 at 8:12 am
LibertyPuma Oh I don’t know , I think they are seriously having second doubts but are they brave enough to stand up and go against BO and the rest I just don’t know.
#481 LibertyPuma on 08.01.08 at 8:13 am
Sly…….. if BO is overturned… there will be a very negative revolution in or very own streets. It will blow the “King” riots out of the water. I am certain of this.
#482 LibertyPuma on 08.01.08 at 8:14 am
Funny, he really has not won the nomination yet???? ANd they keep stating that we better not take it away from him?? ( they, I mean his supporters )
#483 slyt2 on 08.01.08 at 8:15 am
#479 Notyoursweetie that is a really good article, I think that is how we all feel. The thing that bothers me is BO brings up the race card in such away , plants the idea someone maybe racist (hillary, now John) then we people think hey they are racist , he comes out with but I don’t think Hillary , now McCain is racist so he can sit back and enjoy the trouble he has caused.
#484 LibertyPuma on 08.01.08 at 8:16 am
Do any of you remember BO commenting that the reason Women are paid a lower wage than men is because they need more training?
#485 LibertyPuma on 08.01.08 at 8:19 am
The race card is going to bite them in the booty.
#486 slyt2 on 08.01.08 at 8:20 am
LibertyPuma the media has said that since Hillary started winning, how can you take this away from the black man, you can’t take this away from the black man or 1968 riots will look like a picnic (not sure what happened in 68 i guess riots) so are we suppose to all just vote for him because we can’t take this away from him, he is unelectable he is unexperienced . You know this is not a job at walmart where you have to have so many of different races working this is the most important job in our country .
#487 LibertyPuma on 08.01.08 at 8:23 am
SLy..I agree….. I just do not see our SD’s having the courage to do the right thing. I want to believe….really I do. I think the most of them will do the popular thing. :(
Congresswoman Diana DeGette needs to hear from YOU
LETTER-WRITING CAMPAIGN
Please see our new campaign to speak loudly and repeatedly to Rep. DeGette before she begins her book tour next week.
She’s telling the media that supporters of Hillary Clinton are quieting down and are falling in line behind the failed party leaders’ selectee.
In this last week before her book tour begins, we have to tell her, “No. We’re not.”
Go to http://www.NotFallingInLine.org for a letter that you can send via email, phone, fax and postal services – all contact information is provided.)
#493 LibertyPuma on 08.01.08 at 8:30 am
What I like most about this difficult campaign….. the eye awakening moments of our leaders. WOW, I feel like I have been made to see the light. A lot of them are pure scum. And that Wexel guy…do not even get me started! YIKES
#494 LibertyPuma on 08.01.08 at 8:34 am
If I had to use a one word to describe the Democratic party that I have loved for so long…. it is “SHAMELESS”
#495 notanegghead on 08.01.08 at 8:35 am
goodmorning all pumas. just read an article at http://www.realclearpolitics.com about our hiliary,she will ask her delagets to vote for bho at convention.
#496 jane-pa on 08.01.08 at 8:36 am
morning all great to see 1 point spread at last.
#497 slyt2 on 08.01.08 at 8:36 am
I went to send it via -email Knoxville and I saw down at the bottom it said she can not receive email from out of her district (as I got ready to fill out form)
#498 jane-pa on 08.01.08 at 8:39 am
only my thought I think Hillary is getting ready for 12 she knows she wont be vp and he wont win. She needs to look like keeping country togeather. I hope I am wrong and it still could be heis loseing ground. She is in a hard place now but I am with her no matter which way wind blows. Ob will not win Nov, even with Chicago politics if I can help it even a little
#499 notanegghead on 08.01.08 at 8:43 am
if we can keep obama from winning ohio and flordia i don’t think he will win in nov. then hiliary can win in 2012.just my humble thoughts.
Good article here and it puts out in about the middle how Hillary went through what McCain is going through with the “race card being played” Hope this link works.
#505 hillaryistheone on 08.01.08 at 8:47 am
Who is saying this garbage??? Did Hillary say it??? Until I hear it from her mouth, I won’t believe that she has really gone over to the evil side. JMO
She would be dumb to say that with Obama falling in the polls everyday.
I am sure that the Obama people are the one throwing this stuff out there. Obama doesn’t have a snowballs chance in hell of winning in November!!!!!!!!!!
#506 DancesWithPumas on 08.01.08 at 8:48 am
“Do you thing the super Delegates will have the cahoonas to overturn their vote at the DNC?”
Cajones is what got us (gets us) into all these messes in the first place. If anything, the planet need less, fewer, cajones.
#510 slyt2 on 08.01.08 at 8:52 am
I don’t think BO is actively trying to win Ohio, his campaign said about 2 weeks ago they can win the election without winning Ohio and i think that is what he is doing. There are like maybe one ad of BO’s running here and not very offen, McCain has adds running here all day everyday.But I agree we sure don’t want him to win here.
#511 Knoxville Puma on 08.01.08 at 8:53 am
#503 BigCatLover,
Ah, but did you fax it or email it? If you emailed it, fax it too! And if you faxed it, don’t forget to email it. And then you can always phone her…
Just kidding. Thank you!!!
Seriously, if DeGette is saying to the media that the barrage has let up, then we have to turn the barrage back on before she starts her book tour.
#512 john on 08.01.08 at 9:05 am
I don’t believe anything from the Obama media.
Hillary Clinton has her own spokesperson and she could send an emailed to all her supporters saying I don’t want my name placed in nomination, she hasn’t. Obama and the drinkers of his juice will send out mis-information to try an manipulated her supporters we Just Say No Deal. Here’s another fact everytime Obama poll numbers tanks, he call on quinnipiac or PPP pollsters to give us fake numbers another form on Axelrod’s manipulation tools.
We got Obama’s number and it’s call BULLCHIT
PUMA
