Why Are These People In Charge?

UPDATE JULY 28TH AT 8:07PM: OBAMA CONTINUES TO SINK. UPDATE JULY 28TH AT 5:59PM: I got some static the other night for my post “Hey Axelrod, Where’s the Bounce?” But I felt confident standing by my challenge, and I still do. Looks like the NYTimes agrees, I like their headline — very original.

“What’s clear is much of this so called rage is being stirred not by Hillary, but those pretending to be her supporters. Stop the hate. You have totally disrespected the Senator with your emails. Stop the hate. Not sure if you know, but we are keeping copies of all these emails in the archives. Yes, you are not going to get away with pretending to be for Hillary. She is a leader of the Dem party.”
from Donna Brazile threatening Sharon, a Democratic voter, with retaliation for contacting her about the election, on June 8, 2008.

“The racist bullshit I have gotten from my fellow Clinton supporters has been enough to make me puke. You have a choice.  No one would be forcing you.  It is a choice. A choice you will have to live with. 100 years in Iraq if McCain gets elected. Thousands more dead American Soldiers.” — from Garry S. Shay, Member, DNC (CA) and Lead Chair Rules Committee, California Democratic Party, to a Democratic voter from California, July 18, 2008.

“Man, you have to chill.  Try tennis!” — from Dwight Pelz, WA State Democratic Party Chair and Super Delegate, to a Democratic voter in Maryland in response to an email she sent requesting an open convention and roll call vote, on July 18, 2008.

“Good for you, when the fascists come in the middle of the night to take you to a concentration camp, remember how you voted. Take me off your whiner list . . .then tell them to stop calling me telling me that they are going to vote for mccain. i am would rather vote for a rabid dog than any Fascist republican like mccain. read the declaration of independence.” — from Steven Ybarra, a California Super Delegate, in response to a letter from a Democratic voter, July 8, 2008.

“When God was giving out brains…you thought he said trains…and you missed yours. Who gives a croc what you do, its your business fool.” — from Ben Johnson, member of the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee, to Sherry, a Democratic voter from Michigan, July 7, 2008.

“Having Senator Clinton’s name on a roll call without having the votes would just embarrass her, waste time, and make people agonize over nothing. I find it difficult to believe that this organization is not an undercover McCain operation. If you want to be productive, advocate for Senator Obama to choose Senator Clinton as his running mate.” — from Patti Higgins, Alaska State Party Chair and Superdelegate, to a Democratic voter who asked that she ensure an open convention and roll call vote for all the delegates, July 18, 2008.

“GOD WILL GUIDE THE HAND OF JUDGMENT THAT WILL STRIKE YOU DOWN!
Do not email us again. Thank you.” — from Carolyn Warner, Arizona Super Delegate and former state senator, to a Democratic voter who requested that she help make sure that the Convention includes an open roll call vote as in years’ past, July 18, 2008.

“Honestly, this is the 9th email today, so I believe you’re ready to not only destroy Roe versus Wade, voting rights, civil liberties and civil rights. Perhaps adding trillions more to the deficits through non stop tax cuts to the wealthy and 100 more years in Iraq. Yes, please join Rush and McCain asap. The train has left. Catch it. Please don’t send these emails to working people like myself. Notice you sent it to my campus address. I am a working class person. Can you find someone who drinks latte? Message to the base: stay home.” — from Donna Brazile to Jennifer, a Democratic voter, May 2008 (Though she claims to be a working class person, Donna Brazile has been named one of the 50 Most Influential Women in America, is a best-selling author, and is represented as a speaker for hire by the Harry Walker Agency, the same firm that represents Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Michael Eisner, and Henry Kissenger.

“I must confess a bit of fatigue and irritation with people who continue to carp, complain, and criticize the results of the primary and lay down conditions for their support. The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t establish conditions to recognize the Boston Celtics as NBA Champions; Roger Federer did not demand concessions before recognizing that Rafael Nadal defeated him at Wimbledon.” — Don Fowler, DNC Member at Large and former Chair of the DNC, and Alice Germond, Secretary of the DNC, in a letter to Democratic donors, July 19, 2008

“Please remove me from list” — Allan Katz, Florida Super Delegate in response to email requests from individual Democrats who asked him to put Senator Clinton’s name into nomination in Denver.

“So out of touch for being in the moment and not declared. Just keep sending me hate mail and I send you another reply. Sent wirelessly via BlackBerry from T-Mobile. Please contact my office at (202) 628-8081.” — from Donna Brazile to Robin, a Democratic voter, March 2008

“Get over it, loser. I am NOT a Hillary delegate.” from Amy Everhart, an Austin, Texas delegate pledged to Obama, to Thomas a Democratic voter, July 11, 2008.

“I don’t watch much cable TV.” Howard Dean, chair of the DNC, on why he was not aware that there was blatant sexism in the mainstream media coverage of Senator Clinton’s bid for the nomination. June 1, 2008, one day after the DNC’s Rules Committee voted to take 4 Michigan delegates from Clinton and give them to Obama based on data from mainstream media exit polls.

“I think they’re gonna come around. . . Many of these women were not in the feminist movement when we started this years ago. Many of these women are in the suburbs and raised their children, took care of the house and were dutiful wives, and many of these women are now alone, their husbands are gone, sometimes with younger women, and the children are grown and they have an empty nest . . . they didn’t pursue their dreams — they watched Hillary suffer, they felt her pain, and you know what? They bought in — they got angry and they’ve got to be worked with; they’ve got to be dealt with. They need to know that there will be some real opportunities for women that can come behind this; and I think that can be done.” — Maxine Waters, Democratic Congresswoman from Los Angeles, California since 1990 in an interview with Peter B.Collins on KRXA Radio (from 00:27:30 in webcast), July 24, 2008.

“Hillary ran a very impressive campaign and deserves all the respect that entails. Puma and your tactics diminish that respect. Flooding the e-mails of delegates with hundreds of the same rhetoric does nothing to further your cause.” — James Akers, Texas delegate to Democratic voters who contacted him via email, July 11, 2008.

This log will be updated. We have many more responses from public and elected officials in the Democratic Party and DNC to the public and to individual Democratic voters who contacted them about the election. None of the letters sent by voters which elicited these responses were harassing, threatening, or crude. Some were angry, most were simply serious, but none were ad hominem attacks.

You have mail regarding new (wonderful) site -

#4 MountainSong on 07.28.08 at 12:35 pm

Without Oprah Winfrey, there would be no Obama. To get to him we need a letter writing blitz, or campaign to get to Oprah’s viewers. She is the main source of his funds. I wouldn’t be the least surprised if he offered her the VP slot or some cabinet position.
But she and he have been conspiring to elect the first black president for years, now. I’m quite sure she has no use for Hillary Clinton and maybe our best shot is to swing behind the old man, McCain. (yuck)
Taking some shots against Oprah’s sponsors might be effective, but will have little or no affect on her financial backing.

#5 MountainSong on 07.28.08 at 12:36 pm

Would have been #1 if the darn thing hadn’t said “Web page cannot be displayed ” like it quire often does the first time I try to post something. :(

#4 Mountain Song, I agree completely. When the all might Oprah had that big fund raiser for nobama was when his campaign really took off..

I was wondering if there was any way to find out if her ratings have slipped since she became his “big momma”.

I don’t watch daytime TV; never have. I don’t like her thinking she is “God”. She has so much money, that she can influence just about anything..

I do think mo told Oprah to keep her distance from her man.

I have no idea who her sponsors are. We could write them. Might help….don’t really know..

If nobama had an administration, I’m sure she would be part of it. He’s not going to though..

I am voting for John McCain..

#8 jane-pa on 07.28.08 at 12:45 pm

I just got a call from Hillarys Buffalo office. The girl said best thing to do for info would be contact DNC . I will call her Washington office. I know the senate site cannt do anything 60 days before primary or general. But maybe can talk to someone there about her outlook and expectations. I hope.

#9 jane-pa on 07.28.08 at 12:46 pm

Those that voted in aol poll from bottom did you go to end of page another vote there McCain was 60 something over Bommas 30 something

#10 SunnyPA on 07.28.08 at 12:47 pm

Great work on the web site, Murphy. Today’s post sends a very strong message.

I am reposting poll results from Rasmussen Reports (RR has the highest poll accuracy rating):

Monday, July 28, 2008
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that Barack Obama’s Berlin bounce is fading. Obama now attracts 45% of the vote while John McCain earns 42%. When “leaners” are included, it’s Obama 48% and McCain 45%. Both Obama and McCain are viewed favorably by 56% of voters. Tracking Polls are released at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time each day.

Tracking results are based upon nightly telephone interviews with 1,000 Likely Voters and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. Following his speech in Berlin, Obama enjoyed two very strong nights of polling on Thursday and Friday. His lead grew to six-points for results released on Saturday (see recent daily results). However, polling on Saturday and Sunday showed the candidates much closer with single-day results similar to polling from before the Berlin speech.

I can understand getting upset with those responses. I however am highly amused. These “represenatives” of the people are just showing what a collection of arrogant jackasses they really are.
And they think we will back down. (snort)
We are winning. :)

#12 BarbNOBO on 07.28.08 at 12:49 pm

I think this should be added to the negative responses to Hillary supporters! http://www.newsmax.com/insidecover/Hillary_Donors_obama/2008/07/23/115522.html?s=al&promo_code=6690-1

#5 MountainSong, I don’t believe that Oprah raises money for Obambi, she is just supportive, and I am sure she has donated her personal money to him, but not from her corporation, too risky for her, she is already in hot waters with a lot women. She will never have a political position on his cabinet, Oprah does not know squad about nasty politics like him, she loves her job too much to leave it. That is just my opinion!

I think its just part of their strategy to get people to THINK that most Dems are on board with their choice.

opinion through “direct action.” It’s sometimes a code for illegal activities.

Prior to law school, Barack Obama worked as an organizer for their affiliates in

ACORN is scary stuff - ‘manipulate public opinion’, that’s what his campaign has been all about! With Hillary, you always knew she stood for all Americans and not for herself.

Murphy have you heard anything on the charges brought to Chicago Bar that Obama lied on his papers for the bar. They claim he didnt tell about his drug use and had over 300.00 in motor fines. The amount board ask for was 200.00?? Might be interesting if anyone can check it. I think it was Friday or today the papers were going to be filed. It was in Chicago paper.

He did that to win first state senate seat. challanged every signature of opponent. There must be someway we can undo this . Anyone??

#28 nutmegbelle on 07.28.08 at 1:07 pm

I am happy to see that McCain is finally starting to question BOs character because it does matter, no matter how ACORNs and DNC try to spin that it does not.

BO has taken his campaign to a global platform for the first time in history. This could set a precedent for other nations in years to come - a pandoras box waiting to be opened!

I’m sure African countries would love us supporting an unfit white candidate, France an unfit muslim candidate, and so forth.

Oprah’s ratings have dropped because of her political maneuvering but I can’t remember the quoted percentages. I have read articles about her huge, very lavish parties given for Obama at her California estate. She has done much more than campaign and endorse. Actually though, she walked away from Wright’s church many years ago, and I think she may be really disappointed in her candidate right now. She also had a dream! She did tell Ellen, I think, that she can do alot more without being in politics. Of course, titles change many peoples minds.

Gallup Poll for today reports 48% for BO and 40% for McCain. They give their results as a 3 day running average.

#442 ClintonRules on 07.28.08 at 12:56 pm So…are the Delegates supposed to sign a petition to get Hillary’s name on the ballot for nomination??

i’m slightly confused about this. I read one thing and then a few minutes later I read something else. I just want to know what we have to do to ensure that we have the best possible chance when it comes to making sure her name is on that ballot.

I already have a “moving to England” fund and I’m not afraid to use it…I’d rather not but I won’t live here if *61 buys his way into the White House.

So is it a petition for the Delegates we should work on or…??????

Happy Monday Pumas,

Someone asked if Oprah’s ratings had been impacted by her support of BO. I researched this very subject a few days ago - and yes, her ratings have fallen by 7%. I would like to count myself in that figure as I no longer watch her show or any other affiliated show or product.

I also no longer watch: MSNBC, CNN and NBC.

I admire those Pumas who have the grit and intestinal fortitude to bear a full hour of Keith Olbermann.

If you get the chance, check out hillarygreenmountain.org for blog from Mary Kay who always has something interesting and enjoyable to read about the MSM, DNC and the Puma movement.

Murphy: In the future I hope to see this Pac recruit, train, and fund young people interested and capable of first running for City, County, State, and National Democratic Party Positions and of course those wanting to run for future office. This will be the permanent way to assure that a variety of positions are maintained in the Party. The Democratic Party is a collapsing building; it has been for a number of election cycles. When a building of this ilk collapses, only the RATS SURVIVE and are IN Charge. Onward…to defeat the RATS and the hologram.

why this morning CNN, CNN Headlines, CBS, NBC and ABC didnt mention anything about the election except Fox! what the hell are they doing?! stupid secret plans?!

i now do believe that Dem and Repub together to harm our Hill so she cannot become US President. :(

SuperD comments like these should be printed as background for ads like the Denver Group runs in the papers. People need to see how those that are supposed to represent the voters actually feel about the voters.

Good early afternoon Pumas!!!

I just sent out emails to some of my Texas and other SDs, encouraging them to support HRC as she is the candidate who is actually electable!!! I want to drive home this issue over and over and over again.. HRC is the one who “gets it” about the issues that matter to the people, HRC is the one who can make something really happen, not just give a speech about it and then contradict it by ACTING in another way.. I’m going to keep on emailing them and others on the lists I find here and elsewhere each and every day!!!!

GO PUMAS, GO!!!!

We need to post lists of all Obummer’s boo-boos. Like, for instance, that the Israeli’s are extremely upset over Odumba’s mockery at the Wailing Wall. Prayer’s left in the Wall are tradionally buried without reading, if not used in a particular ceremony. Odummy made sure to release the content of his prayer to Israeli media BEFORE he placed it in the Wall. Which amounts to blasphemous sacrilege in Israel.
His list is unending, from shady associations, to having his pic taken in front of 10 Downing St (usually reserved only for presidents and chiefs of state, to lying on his Bar application, to ad infinitum.

#73 Lara08 on 07.28.08 at 1:36 pm

Hi everyone,
My internet was down over the weekend, so I’ve been trying to catch up.

I just read some of the e-mail responses above and was shocked that I know a person who wrote one. I won’t say who, but WOW! This person actually isn’t even from Texas, she is a transplant from the East coast. My sense from the beginning was that BO was getting a lot of his support in TX (especially in Austin) from these new arrivals. People in TX are generally moderates and thus supported HC. For many years the Clintons were welcome with open arms in Austin and South Texas, so to be spoken to in this way by these people is especially troubling. It’s embarrassing to have these BO supporters in TX claim to be from here when they’ve only been in TX for a few years. They have great disdain for working people in the state and especially people of color. Austin has become very elitist and, I dare say, even more racist because of the attitudes of these so-called “liberals” from out of state. They are, as the kids say, just posers. They sit around in coffee houses pontificating about how backwards Texans are, while we go out every day and make sure the state keeps chugging along by actually working for a living.

I believe our e-mails have been polite and that we have the right to fight for our cause. These responses just show what great disdain these BO supporters have towards anyone that disagrees with them. The last time I checked we still had the right to speak our mind in this country. Who knows what will happen if BO wins in November. As someone earlier said, God help us if that happens.

Best,
Lara08

TOP TEN THINGS THAT CREEP ME OUT ABOUT OBAMA
By: Rick Moran

10. It creeps me out that whenever Obama makes an appearance, the rain stops falling and the sun comes out. As a rationalist I am loathe to ascribe a direct cause and effect to this phenomenon except that it happens quite frequently and the rainbow created by the sun breaking through the clouds spells out “Yes We Can!”

Probably just a coincidence…

9. It creeps me out that there are about twice as many women at Obama rallies as there are men. Now I am not of the Melvin Udall School of anti-feminist thought (when asked how he writes women so well, Udall responds “I think of a man, and I take away reason and accountability”). But what is one to think when watching the reaction of females as Obama is speaking? I’m sorry, but it is hard to imagine a man covering their mouth, chest heaving, barely able to contain himself and then ooooohing and aaaaaahhing when the messiah says something particularly vapid and innocuous.

Elvis, I can understand. But a politician?

8. It creeps me out that the press seems hypnotized by this guy. Grown men and women blubbering like babes when talking about how exciting he is, how mesmerizing he is when he speaks. It’s as if “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” has come to life and the pods have been placed in every newsroom in America. It isn’t just Crissy Mathews and MSNBC. It’s news anchors at CNN, reporters for Time and Newsweek, editorial writers at WaPo and the New York Times. Big media is in the tank for this guy in a big way. They have thrown off all semblance of fairness (never mind objectivity) and just don’t care that people know they are in Obama’s corner. They can’t be shamed into changing. They evidently won’t be deflected from doing their best to elect Obama.

This kind of thing causes the hairs on the back of my neck to prick up – like walking through a graveyard at midnight. It is just plain creepy – no other word for it.

Petition for putting Senator’s Clinton in for nomination

#37 Prowland
According to the delegate, Ray, that Murphy interviewed, a petition is well on it’s way to being signed by her delegates. The minimum they need is 300 and I think I read that the maximum is 600 signatures.

The reason they are having their signatures notarized is because “it” forced out one woman from the Senate race from Chicago and another guy from a different political race. He CHALLENGED every signature they had, thus making their lives miserable and they were “forced” out of the race. They want to make sure he can’t do the same thing to Senator Clinton so the delegates are covering themselves by getting their sigs. notarized.

Ray did not say how many signatures they had as they don’t want “it” to have any idea how many there are already. He also said the DNC is int the red by $11 million and since “it” has the money, he is deciding everything for the convention.

It is going to be funny when Senator Clinton gives her nomination acceptance speech at Invesco field. Hee Hee
Ray also said, keep writing the letters, making phone calls, etc. They ARE being heard. Keep sending them throughout the convention, as well. The more the better!

Re: #86 lotts1948
Thanks. I’ve lived in many places in the U.S. and abroad, so it’s not like I’ve had a very limited life and have no knowledge of a world outside of TX. The reasons why Texans are moderates are complex, but it isn’t because we are too stupid to be radical leftists. We realize that you don’t respond to hate with hate (like Rev. Wright). That’s like pouring gasoline on a fire. For those of you who haven’t visited Texas you should know that the reason we’ve had Republican governors and produced the Bush dynasty (and by the way, they aren’t from TX either-that’s just a publicity stunt) is because the state Democratic Party hasn’t been run well. Now the Dem state party leaders have sold their soul to the BO campaign in the hopes of brining the Chicago-style political machine to TX to therefore give the Dems more power. I want a Dem governor and legislators, but I will never accept Chicago-style politics here and neither will other Texans. I’ve lived in the Chicago area and their world-view and political history is different from ours. I can’t see how Texans would be convinced that they should accept this kind of corruption here. I really wish former TX governor Ann Richards were alive today. I know she would have supported HC in a major way and would have at least tried to stop this mess from happening.

Also, just read this article:

More truth.

200,000 . . . or 20,000? Obama’s Crowd in Berlin

John Rosenthal 25 Jul 2008
WPR Blog

“Obama Addresses 200,000 in Berlin” — thus ran the AP headline the day after Barack Obama’s much-hyped speech in front of Berlin’s Siegessäule or “Victory Column.” This 200,000 figure has quickly become the standard estimate of the crowd for Obama’s speech in both the American and the German media: so standard indeed that it is for the most part not even treated as an estimate.

The estimates given by German public television ZDF actually during the event, however, were as little as one-tenth of that number. ZDF began its special “Obama in Berlin” coverage [German video] at 6:45 p.m. Central European Time: only 15 minutes before the candidate’s speech was scheduled to start. At the time, ZDF reporter Susanne Gelhard was out and about on the so-called “Fan Mile” between the Victory Column and the Brandenburg Gate. “The expectations were highly varied,” she said in her live report, “from a few thousand up to a million. Those were the estimates. But, now, several tens of thousands have turned out.” Barely five minutes before the speech was supposed to start, ZDF Berlin studio chief Peter Frey added, “We do estimate that 20,000 [literally, "a couple of ten thousand"] people have turned out.” Frey’s tone, like that of Gelhard, reflected the gap between the relatively modest number cited and the lofty predictions that had preceded the event. Moreover, while the ZDF live images showed that the “Fan Mile” was indeed populated from one end to the other, they also appeared to reveal patches of thinness and pedestrian traffic flowing easily on the half of the boulevard closer to the Brandenburg Gate (i.e. furthest from the “Victory Column”).

And then: the candidate did not appear at the appointed time. Could his handlers have been disappointed by the turnout? Did they hope to buy time for more spectators to arrive? At this point, ZDF interrupted its special coverage and broke for the nightly news. When the coverage resumed some fifteen minutes later, ZDF host Claus Kleber promptly declared that there were “one hundred thousand” people on the Fan Mile. He then repeated the claim twice more in rapid succession — now, more precisely, “over one hundred thousand people” — as if repetition could somehow cover up the glaring discrepancy between this number and the number cited by his colleague Frey only 20 minutes earlier.

Minutes later, Obama was on stage. And a half hour after that, he was gone again. By 8 p.m. — as the crowd filed out, obediently following the order to disperse given over the loud-speaker system — the number being cited had grown to fully 200,000. As this German timeline indicates, the original source for the rapidly growing estimates was in fact the rally organizers: i.e. the Obama team. The 200,000 figure would also be attributed to the Berlin police — which might represent the first time in modern history that the police and the organizers of a political rally agreed on their estimates of crowd size.

As the Berlin-based writer Christian J. Heinrich notes: “During the big anti-Bush demonstration after the fall of Baghdad, there were 250,000 people. And it looked totally different from yesterday. Then, you couldn’t move all the way from the Brandenburg Gate to the Technical University [on the western side of Tiergarten park, another kilometer beyond the Siegessäule].”

To response from above poster - Yesterday found out that 80 superdelegates are Jewish - all of them have supported Precious - Pa Dem got all of their email information from Trish - and Pa Dem was inviting those of us that wanted to work on her prowl of sending emails to them - for me I am going to question them by saying how could they give Precious their vote at the convention - its a disgrace what he did to “our” faith - are you turning your back on your own??? I think if enough of us - went there with them - they would at least think twice - if they don’t care what their constituents think - and many didn’t - at least they will still want to be in good graces with their faith.

The difference being, the one from the delegates will ensure her getting her name into nomination. One that Hilllary supporters (us, et al,) would be another form of writing letters, phone calls , etc. So it would great to keep the pressure on all the delegates, through any of those means and like everything else suggested by Murphy, WILL help.

You might want to try my trick. I’ve got a Text file titled BO related links. Instead of accumulating all the links in my favorites… I copy and paste the links in the text file with a brief description of the link (that I can make use of when I need to do searches on keywords to find it quickly). I also add the date for each day before pasting the links found on that day. This gives me the flexibility to search by date too if I know what date the link was found.

From this text file — I can open and do Ctrl+F to pull up a quick search box and type a keyword to find my links quickly. This avoids cluttering up my favorites with all this information and helps to retrieve quickly. Just a suggestion.

“#78 Obama can’t make it on his own. I am sure Hillary has gotten pressured into getting out there for him. ”

If you read the article carefully — it sounds like she’s using her work in the Senate to explain why she hasn’t had time to campaign for him. The article also says that she will certainly campaign and help as soon as she has her Senate work calendar freed up. Sounds to me like the article is trying to make it sound like she’ll be campaigning soon… but she’s smart… and there’s not really a commitment there if you read closely.

Not Hillary, not anyone could convince me to vote for him. I just don’t understand how, if anyone investigates his proposals and intended policies, that they could vote for him. Unless they are a bunch of uneducated people without the capacity to look beyond the surface of things.

without information one could see how it would happens
you could predict what his is about to do , actually it looks like if he is following “the manual of the good totalitarian”
all dictators love mass meetings, they either force the people to assit, or have other events which would draw people to assist, plenty food, the case would that it would came on the media as huge event

berlin´s mayor is from the communist party, thus he was a big help in the farce, he & guffy´s team probalbly contacted underground movements+ the concert, etc
I hope beliners do not vote this guy in next elections for the missuse of the city funds(police etc)

Don’t forget to include the links to the Wailing Wall story when emailing the Jewish Delegates. I sent off some emails to some Rabbis last night and will send off more emails after work tonight.

#144 Rodham in Flag on 07.28.08 at 2:31 pm

KENDALLBLUE - I posted the list - Pa Dem said that she got all the information on where to send - and now THANK YOU ANNA7000 posted the email for Pa Dem -
she wanted everyone interested to send her an email and she would forward the list to them to work from - which is what I will be doing now - THANKS FOR YOUR HELP KENDALL BLUE - if everyone else here would do that - it would make a difference this August.

Also in respect to all the distorted information that we can prove against the MSM - could not all of us as a prowl send a complaint to the FCC regarding misrepresentation - I did that regarding AP posting it was over before SD and Montana - noticed that a couple of other posters had said they had done the same thing - but numbers speak - rather than a 5 or 6 people. Just my own opinion - but I THINK I AM RIGHT LOL

#145 slyt2 on 07.28.08 at 2:31 pm

Oh KENDALBLUE thank you sooooo much I have been looking for this video forever.

#122 Rodham

I have twice sent you a reponse but they won’t go through. Maybe this one will.

May I suggest you use the word “URGE” them (delegates) to vote for Senator Clinton in Denver or change their vote to her. My brother, the lobbyist used tis word alot when sending your letters, fax, emails (no snail mail). THESE DO work. NUMBERS, NUMBERS, NUMBERS on the # of letters, faxes, emails, phone calls, etc. These WILL get their attention. The more the better! Remind the delegates that you are confident that she will have met the requirements for her name to be put into nomination.

NOISE, NOISE, NOISE!!

Excellent post on top Murphy and Maryland, its important to keep everyone here focused on what our purpose it. And those replies to well intentioned e-mails are what we should be focused on. Getting the word out to the voters exactly who they voted for in their state elections. And to ensure the public know what kind of government will be running their wonderful country if Bo wins.

We can watch all the polls we want, we can discuss newspaper articles til we’re blue in the face but we only have a limited time to reach people, get them fired up and get them questioning their representatives.

Every person who reads the intro to this blog should be angry, pissed off and fighting.

Get out there people and tell everyone you know what is coming down the pipeline in November. Tell your friends to tell their friends.

It’s time for more action and less discussion.

Before I hit the Submit button I would like to suggest that everyone memorize three keyboard shortcuts.

Ctrl + A = Selects ALL text
Ctrl + C = Copies the selected text
Ctrl + V = Pastes the text

So before hitting submit… do the first two keyboard shortcuts… then hit the Submit button. If the page error pops up… log back on and then click in the Comment box and do Ctrl + V to paste the copied message and hit Submit again.

Mzebest or anyone who had discussed creating an email of BO facts to mass mail to everyday folks - is anything in the works?

#175 Anna7000 on 07.28.08 at 2:52 pm

mzebest - real quick. forgot to respond to an earlier post of yours. yes, i think that one way or another when we contact the jewish sd’s we need to make sure what we’re claiming is corroborated. i thought perhaps of simply excepting something from the media that shows that what we’re saying obama did is something he indeed did do. but, including a link to an article is another great idea.

gotta go —

I can’t decide which option I like best …

Option 1: Hillary starts her acceptance speech at Invesco Field by thanking Obama for inviting and funding such a huge audience to witness this stupendous moment.

Option 2: The speech is moved back to Pepsi Center and Hillary makes a point of saying that her decision reflects her more fiscally responsible approach to running the country.

#184 diva2 on 07.28.08 at 3:06 pm

I agree, Senator Clinton would probably prefer Pepsi Center but I recently heard how incredibly difficult for the change to Invesco has been, especially for secret service. It is really complicated and they had been working on the Pepsi Center for many months, so this change has not been favorably accepted, so my feeling is that it will be literallly impossible, logistically, to change it back to the P.Center.

I feel that from this point, we all need to be thinking only about Denver and “seeing” Hillary getting the vote and giving her acceptance speech. I don’t even think we need to talk about November except Senator Clinton going up agains McCain. Keep thinking of good
Options as to what you invision

#185 andy85719 on 07.28.08 at 3:07 pm

Obama now says that people making 100,000 to 250,000 are middle class. That is an insult of the highest kind. That isn’t middle class, that is lower upper class. Middle class is usually 50,000 to 100,000. Obama is so disgusting. Does that mean if you make less than 100,000 you’re poor. Maybe if you buy 600 dollar earrings with a stimulus check. I hate OBAMA. PUMAPOWER!!!

MO is a key to Obummer’s true intentions. Everytime she opens her mouth she drives another nail in his political coffin so they have her muzzled.

#192 FLGirl on 07.28.08 at 3:11 pm

This is from Real Clear Politics:

Republican presidential candidate John McCain moved from being behind by 6 points among “likely” voters a month ago to a 4-point lead over Democrat Barack Obama among that group in the latest USA TODAY/Gallup Poll. McCain still trails slightly among the broader universe of “registered” voters. By both measures, the race is tight.
The Friday-Sunday poll, mostly conducted as Obama was returning from his much-publicized overseas trip and released just this hour, shows McCain now ahead 49%-45% among voters that Gallup believes are most likely to go to the polls in November. In late June, he was behind among likely voters, 50%-44%.

We need to be sending copies of these e-mails to major news media, ESPECIALLY Fox News. I’m sure Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity will eat this stuff up. A good subject line would be “Democratic Party Insulting Democratic Voters”. I mean, I was STUNNED when I read this.

Ben Johnson using a rhyme that I honest-to-God haven’t heard since I was 8, Amy Everhart calling a voter a “loser”, and Maxine Waters basically calling every PUMA a divorced housewife with nothing better to do. This is what is ruining the Democratic party.

#199 MountainSong on 07.28.08 at 3:21 pm

I wonder if anyone has ever considered giving psychological tests to candidates to determine their fitness to lead the country. No way could Obama pass it with his egomania and narcissism and God only knows what else. Since he always represents himself as ‘black’ he must have some serious resentment about his mother being white, which will only perpetuate the divisiveness of his campaign.
