It's arrogance really. He assumes so much yet I doubt he knows a thing about Native American culture, outlooks, or standards of living. The "red bothers and sisters" comment infuriates me. Not that I mind being called red at all, but it's an attempt to draw parallels to the history of blacks in America and a shameless effort to make it look like he is in a sense Native American.
