This story screams action item by sending it to Lou Dobbs, posting it at RedState.com, Hannity and other news/radio outlets. hmmm...

Hi, all!

I cried with that article! It is so shameful that he promised to help those poor people and never did! I mean the school story, the orphans lost home, absolutely horrible! How can he sleep? It broke my heart to think those people don't even have running water while he is livin "La Vida Loca" in a 1.5 million mansion!

Thank you for your comments.. and thank you for allowing me to read your poetry. I spent my time reading them all. I could see what you meant, if you read them 1 after the other, it sure told a story.

I do so much miss my dad and my mom.. dad went really quickly; what we thought was pneumonia was lung cancer and oat cell, so it spread rapidly and he was gone in a few months.. it was stunning it was so quick... mom had been considered terminal for over a year actually.. and I stayed there with her for the last 8 months, she was on Home Hospice.. and that was an experience I cannot explain.. something I am not sure I would want my children to go through and yet at the same time, an experience that was valuable for me.. and yet, because of the suffering she had to go through.. for me I didn't feel terribly sad that she was gone; because then I was just glad she wasn't suffering like that anymore.. of course, maybe I was numb since she actually died the day we buried my daughter.. so... yeah, it was a bit much...

anyway, didn't mean to go on so much... this is really OT...

still, thank you for your kind words.. all of you Pumas actually, and Cosmeta thanks again for sharing your words with me.

I mentioned in a previous posting that I put to good use those leftover school photographs of my beautiful black son by inserting a picture in the envelope on those occasions when I mail correspondence to SD's. I will get out a note to Representative Waters, cum picture, just so that she knows not all PUMAs are middle-aged women - and white. (My son, who just turned 16, looks more like a man since these pictures were taken but, just so that she knows this young black man has a mind of his own, I will include this anecdote. Concerned his support of HRC might merely mimick what he observed in his mother, I asked him to sum up why he preferred her over BO. He said, "Because she doesn't give people the finger." )

Actually, I agree with you here. It is absolutely obvious that the media will spin this as they wish or as directed by Dean and certainly the Nobama camp. These are rational and well-reasoned ideas, IMO.. there are Pumas from every race and if we can have representatives there, if it is possible, I agree that we should do that... the big difference, unfortunately between Pumas and Nobama and the DNC mob is that they are "staging" their representatives.. we know this.. Pumas are not staging.. we are just having those who are able and want to go to protest.. so we have to deal with what we have.
