Read a report stating Hillary was 25.2 million IN DEBT at the end of June, up from 22 million orginally reported!
She supposedly only raised 2.7 million in June.
It went on to say, though, that she had 23 million towards the GE and was asking donors’ permission to transfer those monies to her 2012 Senate Campaign.
How can this be?! I’m confused … will someone explain, please?!
Howard should have explained it. Do you guys think he will talk about it later today? We should call the office and find out what’s going on.
Remember that these are June numbers being posted. The debt is bound to increase with interest and late charges.
I know we all were excited about reports of many millions being raised by us in July. I think the announcement was premature and could have been the result of misinformation.

It seems that Barack Obama is not qualified to be president
after all for the following reason:
Barack Obama is not legally a U. S. natural-born citizen
according to the law on the books at the time of his birth, which falls between
December 24, 1952 to November 13, 1986.
Presidential office requires a natural-born citizen, if the child was not
born to two U. S. citizen parents, which of course is what
exempts John McCain though he was born in the Panama Canal.
US Law very clearly stipulates: ‘.If only one parent
was a U. S. citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in
the United States for at least ten years, at least five of
which had to be after the age of 16.
‘ Barack Obama’s father was not a U. S. citizen and
Obama’s mother was only 18 when
Obama was born, which means though she had been a U. S.
citizen for 10 years, (or citizen
perhaps because of Hawaii being a territory) the mother
fails the test for being so for at least
5 years **prior to** Barack Obama’s birth, but *after*
age 16.
It doesn’t matter *after* . In essence, she was not old
enough to qualify her son for automatic
U. S. citizenship. At most, there were only 2 years elapsed
since his mother turned 16 at the time
of Barack Obama’s birth when she was 18 in Hawaii. His
mother would have needed to have been
16+5= 21 years old, at the time of Barack Obama’s birth
for him to have been a natural-born citizen.
As aforementioned, she was a young college student at the
time and was not.
Barack Obama was already 3 years old at that time his mother would have
needed to have waited to have him as the only
U. S. Citizen parent. Obama instead should have been
naturalized, but even then, that would still disqualify him from holding the
office.
*** Naturalized citizens are ineligible to hold the office of President.
*** Though Barack Obama was sent back to Hawaii at age 10,
all the other info does not matter because his mother is the one who
needed to have been a U. S. citizen for 10 years prior to
his birth on August 4, 1961, with 5 of those years being
after age 16. Further, Obama may have had to have remained
in the country for some time to protect any citizenship he
would have had, rather than living in Indonesia.
Now you can see why Obama’s aides stopped his speech
about how we technically have more than 50 states, because it would have
led to this discovery. This is very clear cut and a blaring
violation of U. S. election law. I think the present Gov. of California
would be very interested in knowing this if Obama were to be elected —
in violation to U. S. LAW — President without being a
natural-born U. S. citizen, and it would set precedence.

Obama won’t voluntarily address the issue and the question is…. Who is responsible to bring suit against him to provide his credentials as to his eligibility as a viable DEM Candidate according to the CONSTITUTIONAL Rules for qualification of a US President.

I have lawyers in my family and they say eligibility rules like this are usually a matter of self-attestation unless challenged. And, that the point of challenge would be after he is the official nominee and has to apply to be on each state’s ballot. At that point any citizen of that state would have standing to file a suit asking that he be struck from the ballot. A discovery process would follow and a subpoena issued for the bc. The burden of proof is on the candidate to show he meets eligibility rules. But only if challenged would he have to produce that proof. If suits are filed in key states, my legal eagles say they don’t see how this election could go forward without the bc coming out.

I did sign the Denver Group’s ipetition yesterday, that is a good one.
Hillary’s debt – I am hoping the numbers for her July campaign look much better. It was in July I think that there was a big effort to reduce her debt. We won’t know the July figures till late August.
Sure wish my wife and I could attend the convention but we will be getting back in town from a business trip the same day the convention starts. My thoughts and my best wishes to everyone attending.

Yesterday I heard that it takes 300 Delegates to sign a petition and Hillary has to sign off on it for her name to be put up for nomination or the party can override that and say she is up for nomination. Does anybody know of a link that explains that process? I have seen a few but nothing that describes this process just what happens after that part.

Something doesn’t make sense to me.
One thing I do not understand, I couldn’t get SS#’s for my kids without a VALID ORIGINAL BC in hand, couldn’t get Driver’s license…couldn’t passports etc without PRESENTING a VALID ORIGINAL birth certificate. Providing a fake one could have landed me in jail…. yet a man can gain the presidency of the United States without ever having to actually produce such a simple document (unless legally challenged to do so)?? First, let me thank you for your support of Hillary Clinton during the primary season. I know it can be “fatiguing” to continue to support the candidate that you know is heads and shoulders above the rest, when all around you are telling you to quit, get on board, we have a new guy.
And maybe you are being pressured to support Senator Obama. But somewhere, I would love to see someone stand up and have the courage to do the right thing. Every day we are asking thousands of courageous men and women to stand up for democracy in countries all over the globe. And hundreds of thousands of courageous men and women have given their lives for the idea of democracy in this country.
Where is your courage?
I, and millions of men and women like me, are standing up for what we believe this democracy is all about. One person, one vote. NO ONE is allowed to tell me who I have to vote for.
Do you think that maybe the authorities dealing with Martin Luther King were fatigued and irritated with his demand for racial equality in Selma?
Do you think that maybe boycotted businesses in Montgomery, Alabama were fatigued and irritated with Rosa Parks when she refused to sit at the back of the bus?
Do you think that the British governor of the Boston colony was fatigued and irritated when those pesky Sons of Liberty threw tea into the harbor?
This country was founded on engaged and patriotic men and women irritating those in power. As a matter of fact, we haven’t gotten to where we are in the country without someone being irritated. These people need to be celebrated for continuing this patriotic tradition, not continually harassed and belittled.
Barack Obama is not the best possible candidate for President. In all good conscience, I am being a patriotic American like my ancestors before me by taking action to prevent him from being elected. And your demand that I stop being an American and vote for who you tell me to vote for is, frankly, as unAmerican as I have ever experienced. Honestly, you should be ashamed that you could not say NO to whomever requested you write the email.

The PUMA’s formed and started fundraising in June, while Clinton was suspending her campaign. The official numbers for June are due to the FEC by today and will be released by the end of July.
There was a concerted PUMA effort on the debt centered on July 4th and her t-shirt was out on July 10th. Those financial results will be due to the FEC on August 20 and released by the end of August.
There will be alot of $$ claims flying around as BS. Such games are played as releasing gross receipts as the net without expence numbers and combining BO’s numbers with the DNC numbers. Watch at opensecrets.org . Right now numbers are posted through May 31. There are seperate BO and DNC numbers.

RE The vetting of Obama by DNC: You all are still using a tacit premise regarding vetting that was not, infact, the premise upon which Obama was selected in 2003, 2004 by members of the Democratic Party to be the candidate for 2008. The premise then and now had nothing to do with whether his credentials, his background, his connections , were free of any signs of inauthenticity or issues that would cause problems.

Given the tactics used by the Obama campaign, heretofore, clearly vetting , in the normal meaning of that word, had nothing to do with the selection 5 years back of Obama. Machiavellians do not need to vet, in the normal sense of the word. And, clearly we are looking at some of the most overtly consistent Machiavellian tactics ever to appear in this country regarding a candidate. If one will use whatever means to get what end one wants, clearly, authenticity, “vetting” are irrelevant. All I ever knew was: as long as a child was *born* on US soil they were automatically a citizen. So don’t know about any laws about parental citizenship.
Is there any real evidence to suggest that BO was NOT born in Honolulu on 4 August, 1961?
My gut feeling is that BOs mom gave birth in Canada…then got his BC in Hawaii….lol the after fact kind of birth certificate.

I just got off the phone with Fox & Friends hdqtrs. I found out the guy was Howard Wolfson (sorry I thought ppl were saying H Bean Head- too many Howards for me) He was former Hillary Clinton campaign manager and now works for FOX.
I will not be lengthly on what I told this guy but I brought up what he said and about talking about the convention, roll call, Hillarys name being placed into nomination on the ballot, SD’s free to vote without pressure, and requested to get H Bean Head on the record to state the convention process and to let ppl truly know there is a process and to make sure it is followed and up held…fairly, legally and with out fear to ppl so they can do what they feel is the right thing. I also mentioned PUMA to be able to ask H Beanhead ?’s
He said he was going to get to work on it now and it was a great idea for a segment….only time will tell.

I wondering if we are missing one important thing. BO probably did give an official original BC when he applied for a passport. According to the passport requirements you must supply – “Original Birth Certificate (if born in the United States); “. BO was born in the United States and probably supplied the original birth certificate. However, we can’t forget that, at least in this case, have a US birth certificate doesn’t necessarily mean that you qualify for POTUS for the reasons listed in #16 above. Is this possible and am I reading this correctly? Other thoughts? I’ll check back later (have to go to work) to see what others think.

I would think that if you could find a lawyer that REALLY REALLY wanted to make a name for themselves – they would want to take on this case about the birth certificate really quickly – same as an uncoming reporter that would champion the cause against BO. I don’t think it’s a BAD idea to use a full page AD in the NYT or the WSJ to garner support around the country to apply pressure to Obama to produce his original BC and all the pertinent info that goes along with it.
If anything, the PUMA Movement can get behind this issue and begin applying pressure for information claiming… how can delegates be supporting Obama when no one knows if he’s eligible for the nomination when he’s never supplied original documentation of his Birth Certificate as PROOF!
I think we need a preemptive strike…as the DNC seems ready to face a challenge if one is made after Obama’s nomination.

In modern times it has also been used to refer to a constitutional republic where the people have a voice through their elected representatives.” I am quit concerned with you disdain for listening to people who “lay down conditions for your support”.

I teach in the Chicago public school system and I can say we have a lost generation. Not the children getting killed, but their parents. These parents, or more correctly, their mothers have all but abandoned their kids, letting the responsibility of rearing their children to the grandparents. The grandparents cannot keep any type of control over these wayward children.
This has been happening for quite some time. I’m glad someone is finally speaking the truth about a very critical issue. Gun control however is not the answer. When there is no discipline in the home, how can any learning take place? Every kid wants to be a basketball star, pimp, rapper or player. Anger amongst the children is at an all time high. There is no respect and everyone is on the take. If you just touch a child on the shoulder, they will flop and fall down claiming you hit them.
The government pays parents a monthly subsidy for special education students, so we have high schools filled to the brim with kids who purposely act dumb to maintain their meal ticket. One high school on the southwest side has a special education enrollment of 40% of the school population. Not only does the families gain, but so do the schools with increased revenue. The kids don’t want to learn. They see no point in trying to learn to read as everything is spoon-fed to them through the media and violent video games, movies and the real life drama played out in their neighborhoods.
Teachers are forced to pass students who have no right to move on to the next grade level in order to maintain progress. There is a limit to the number of times (2) a student can be held back. Children are in 8th grade who are reading at a 2nd grade level. They cannot even write a complete sentence. The No Child Left Behind Act is a farce, with inadequate funding and more and more pressure is being placed on the teachers to follow set guidelines following District curriculum standards and rubrics while at the same time abandoning the old method of teaching the 3 R’s. Paperwork, and more paperwork for accountability is the name of the game today. Out of a 6 hour day, a teacher will be lucky to have 2 hours of sincere teaching time. 35 students per classroom is the norm.
Teachers have become baby sitters.
Parents blame the teachers for their kids behavior.
Respect for one another is gone.
We have become a culture of acceptable violence, drug use and gang influence.
Let the teachers teach.

The purported Certification of Live Birth published by the Daily Kos left wing blog and claimed as genuine by the Obama campaign features a security border that differs dramatically from security borders on COLB documents before and after the one supposedly printed out for Obama in 2007.
Barack Obama may be on a world tour surrounded by a fawning media, but Sunday an expert in electronic document forensics released a detailed report on the purported birth certificate — actually a “Certification of Live Birth” or COLB — claimed as genuine by his campaign. The expert concludes with 100% certainty that it is a crudely forged fake: “a horribly forgery,” according to the analysis published on the popular right-wing Atlas Shrugs blog.
The purported birth certificate was published by the left wing Daily Kos blog on June 12 in response to unconfirmed reports that Obama was not in fact born in the United States (Canada and Kenya were suggested as the possible locations of his actual birth). Since he would in that case not be a natural born US citizen (his mother was not present in the US sufficiently long as an adult to pass American citizenship on to him automatically), he would not be eligible to be president. Israel Insider has followed the story in five previous articles (the previous one here) and uncovered evidence, most recently, of admitted forgery among Daily Kos bloggers, tolerance of electronic forgeries on the blog site, as well as efforts by a blog administrator to conceal the admission of forgery.
The latest examinaton of the purported documents is by far the most detailed and technically sophisticated to date.
Atlas Shrugs publisher Pamela Geller reports that the expert analyst, who goes by the screen name “Techdude”, is “an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American College of Forensic Examiners, The International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners, International Information Systems Forensics Association — the list goes on. He also a board certified as a forensic computer examiner, a certificated legal investigator, and a licensed private investigator. Just kidding… although, I never HAVE been called mealymouthed or passive aggressive in my life.
Yesterday, I had a chance to visit the PUMA PAC site for the first time in several weeks- and I apparently hit some nerves (stepped on Puma Paws and got the claws).
My point is that many, like myself, have limited time to work on the Hillary Project, via all venues- and have limited time to go on line at all.
I am 53 y/o, work out of state, lose 1 day driving to work and another coming home. I then work 7 days in a row- 12 hours a day. So I have 5/14 days to DO ALL OF THE REST.
When I get to go to PUMA PAC site, I want/need to educate myself and get up to speed as quickly and efficiently as possible. I DO take every action I can – started with the e-mails, and letters to DNC, Media, Press early in the primary- although not nearly as MUCH as I’d hope/want to. I’ve also gone Independent after 35 years registered with the democratic party.
When I peruse the PUMA site and blogs, I am looking for the recent actions I can engage in, and I read the blogs for new ideas and actions I might take part in. I try to act promptly on everything I can.
To have to scroll through the dozens of frivolous, empty (yes my LEO is showing) drivel posts just to get to the meat of the matter, is quite frankly a frustrating waste of time to me.
A number of you- including Murphy, herself- quickly put me in my place yesterday. Although, the Native American I am married to wants to know: what exactly does mealymouthed mean?
I really had NO idea that so many people (except Murphy) were working on these projects all day, every day. I wrongly assumed most people were like myself doing what we could in the spare hours.
Clearly, I need a break and a breather from the intensity of all this. So I will go to the Dine (Navajo) Indian Nation, ride a pony on the reservation, burn some white sage, listen to Buffy Sainte-Marie’s new CD and watch her recite her poem (the war racket) a few more times while taking in the monsoon rainbows.
I will- literally- be dancing with mountain lions and coyotes.
By the way- Obama has a link on his site to the Buffy poem- likely to appeal to us old hippies and to us Native Americans.
The Dine are (mostly) still for Hill- remembering her from her early days as public defendent on the rez. NM (and AZ) are both swing states and the Latino, Native vote matters.

Native Americans are split by tribe on this. The Southwestern tribes are more inclusive to outsiders and more “moderate”. The Plains tribes lean more extreme- but I have friends among many tribes. I worked with the Indian Health Service for 15 years. I also have some Politically Active Native friends in LA area – will check with them on what the sentiment is among Urban Skins vs those on the Rez.

Hillary has millions (23) raised but the rules say that it can not be used for the primary- it must be put aside for the GE.
Since she “lost” the formal party nomination- she is NOT the “nominee” and those millions can NOT be used to retire her debt.
That money enters the pool for the DNC and the party. She is asking to be allowed to re-route it to her senate campaign.
While I did not KNOW that was an option- I am okay with that- I gave my limit, between the primary and the effort to erase her debt. So I can’t do any more financially at this point.
Her support, helps Obama- and His supporters should now help retire her debt.
How can this be, I remember going mutiple times to her website to donate and it had a box I checked off for the money to be used to retire her debt.

You can ask everyone to send the total they donated to pay off her debt since June 3rd. Many pay with paypal or cc so they can check their amounts…and send you an email. Better if you ask the question by email so the amount is more accurate, rather than on the blog, which will miss most PUMAs.

New York Times Blocks McCain OpEd Piece
The New York Times last week blocked an opinion piece submitted by John McCain to the newspaper shortly after it printed a piece by his Democratic rival, Barack Obama, McCain campaign officials confirmed to FOX News on Monday.
Obama’s piece detailed his plans for Iraq and Afghanistan. While McCain’s proposed piece also discussed Iraq, The Times told McCain’s advisers that it would not accept the op-ed in its current form because it did not offer new information. Obama’s speech previewed a series of speeches leading up to a highly publicized trip to war zones in the Middle East.
“It would be terrific to have an article from Senator McCain that mirrors Senator Obama’s piece,” Times op-ed editor David Shipley wrote the campaign via e-mail, The Drudge Report first reported on Monday.
“I’m not going to be able to accept this piece as currently written,” Shipley said in the e-mail late Friday.
Drudge reported that Shipley also said: “The Obama piece worked for me because it offered new information (it appeared before his speech); while Senator Obama discussed Senator McCain, he also went into detail about his own plans.”
The McCain campaign confirmed McCain’s side of the story, and issued a glancing statement regarding the matter.
“John McCain believes that victory in Iraq must be based on conditions on the ground, not arbitrary timetables. Unlike Barack Obama, that position will not change based on politics or the demands of the New York Times,” McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds said.

I’m on the Left Coast and during the work week, by the time I get home from work, take care of a few chores, prepare and eat dinner, It’s around 6-7PM. Then when I come to the blog, people have already put in a full day of Actions and are, for the most part, engaged in light social banter. So, I miss out on a full day of interactivity, information, and action.
On the weekends I do the growls, prowls, and a couple of other PUMA related tasks, and my weekend days evolve more naturally into the evening socializing.
But, it is very frustrating during the work week nights.
Don’t know what else to say to you right now. Even though I “get” your perspective, it’s it is difficult to be blasted with criticism right off the bat by, presumably, new PUMAs.

Yes, if it were a formal nomination during the primary, there would be no need for a convention and voting. Superdelegates can change their votes, and I’m not sure if delegates can too. I think nothing is set in stone yet.

I posted this the other night and ask for some clarification on answer #2…. It says that pledged delegates are not bound by pledge… atleast I think that’s how I read it…anyone else look at it and see the same?? Maybe I’m just not reading between the lines or maybe I am too much

I also don’t believe we can stop him with mere votes because that didn’t work in 2000 and 2004. Somehow his purse strings need to be cut and some kind of restraining order or injuction or order to cease and desist from the organized plan for the destruction of the USA. Something that can be enforced by the force of law. We just cannot, WILL NOT, turn our country over to him.

#265 I have stopped watching anything on CNN but Lou Dobbs. He is fair, and has remarked about all the media (his network as well) attention on bo.
I have never watched Fox because it was so slanted to Republicans. Now if things don’t go Hillary’s way, I will be voting for one this year.
I stay clear of all of the rest of the news because the Lion in me comes out, and I argue with them (I know, it is crazy to yell at your TV, but I do). I can feel my bp soaring, and that is not good.
Besides Lou Dobbs, I will get my news from our site. I trust it.
I must say again that voting for any third party
candidate, or not voting, will only help bo become President. That can not happen..

There’s something everyone needs to understand about SNOPES. While it does do a really good job in most cases to dispell hoax information… you need to keep in mind that it is mostly run by a husband and wife team doing research on their own. They are human, not perfect, as often evident in their abundant spelling and grammatical errors on the site. It is highly possible that they are also not completely informed on the proper research on the birth certificate information. So please don’t think they are the DE FACTO LAST WORD on any subject.

There are TWO pots of money:
The pot that Hillary can use for the primary part of this election has run dry. That is where people can donate, still, to retire her debt.
The other pot of money she has raised, is “earmarked” for the GE. The rules do not allow her to use this “pot” to pay off her debt. She could use in for the GE if she were the party nominee.
In the eyes of the DNC… she is not the “formal” nominee of the democratic party. As such, it is also why I can not write her in on my NM ballot. The NM rules will give my writein Hillary vote OVER to the “formal” nominee of the democratic party.
I was not focusing on the semantics of whether or not she is the “formal” nominee or not until after the convention. I was just explaining the rules regarding the disposition of money raised for the campaign.
Apparently, she can ask her donors to allow her to re-route it to her senate campaign. This is the part I did not know about.
I have given the Max between what I gave during the primary and what I’ve given to help retire the debt.
I would rather see her use the pot that is set aside for the GE to finance her senate campaign- then to see it go to the DNC/Party fund.

I worked for Indian Health Service for over 15 years with various tribes.
I lived permanently on or around the Navajo Rez for over 20 years.
We now live in a small town in NM but keep a small home on the Navajo Rez.
I was born in Italy… came over at age 6… raised in Long Island NY… went to college in Tucson… have been in the SW- mostly working for the Indian Health Service branch of the Public Health Service, ever since.
I have NO birth ceritificate, am a naturalized (age
US citizen, have dual citizenship as do all Italians who are also citizens of other countries, Have been approved and fingerprinted by the US government as entry into the PHS/IHS branch.
Please don’t ANYone ask me about BC’s and naturalization. I am no expert.
I am safe though… I think… although I DO maintain an active passport… and I have seen the Wall at Palomas on the NM/Mexico border.

No I don’t know if there are any official Native American groups- but I can try to find out.
I was last up on the rez the end of MAY for a number of graduations. Many (navajos) are very disheartened and disappointed at the treatment of Hill- and Bill- for that matter as they have a fondness for both.
The buzz is that they won’t be voting for Obama–even some VERY young Natives who are in College… but it is a group that traditionally goes DEMOCRATIC and come Nov, they may just vote the party… or stay home.

Just saw the interview with Will Bowers on Fox. The commentator didn’t seem very friendly toward him or PUMA. I hope it (the interview) is aired again during prime time.

I also read either on NQ or Texasdarlin I believe. #61 was required by law because of the year he was born that in order to hold public office he had to sign up for the draft and there is NO proof he ever did. I will research to find these 2 stories.
