On a personal note, I met my hero Riverdaughter and was more impressed than ever. I was sad to see our friend and Action Center originator PA4Hill move on. She’ll be missed. I was also sad to learn that MP ran into some personal static as a result of politics and the politics of posting.
We’ve accomplished so much everyone, and you know what I say — Tomorrow is another day!

Not going to respond to him, but did read the article linked in the email. It claims 2.5 million was paid on Hillary’s debt in June. Also, there is 23 million in her general election fund she would like to use for 2012- the (senate) race.
Not sure how this make Will Bower a liar. Interesting. I do know a number of Hillary’s big donors also maxed on her general election fund.

I did not know that all the candidates had to release their campaing fundraising numbers today before midnight. As usual, McCain and Hillary did it, but they are still waiting on Obama.

Lorelai I think she also worked in the White House for the Clintons. I just think it’s fishy that she would be on Fox defending Obama when we haven’t had the convention yet. Jesus who’s left but us.
Friends, please don’t panic about what Hillary, Bill, or any of their supporters are doing. They have to play the unity game now for two reasons.
One, Hillary needs cooperation from other lawmakers if she’s going to be successful in fighting for us with healthcare and other causes she champions.
Two, if good fortune smiles on us and Hillary wins the nomination at the convention, she will need Obama’s supporters behind her too. She must begin mending fences now. Her surrogates must begin mending fences too. With luck, Obama will self-destruct, and his supporters will go to Hillary without much resistance. But Hillary, Bill, and their surrogates must pave the way.
Meanwhile, we’re doing what they cannot. We putting on the pressure from other directions. And they’re trusting us to fight the fight they can’t.

Our heroine Hillary fought valiantly during a difficult primary season, and yet she failed to secure the nomination. So now, the plot thickens. Now our heroine Hillary must do the heretofore unthinkable and infiltrate enemy territory. It’s a more daring and precarious plan that she has undertaken before, but her options are few.
Key to her success is convincing the evil Nobama and his ilk that she supports him wholeheartedly. But her loyal Pumas know better. So do our allies in other camps. It’s a ruse. It’s a diversion. It’s 18 million cracks in a glass ceiling through which we can slip in and attack. It is a brilliant plan, dear Pumas.
Like you, I fear for our heroine Hillary in the clutches of the evil Nobama. But we must remain brave and stalwart Pumas. We must do the things that our heroine Hillary cannot do now.

Yes, thank you Goandersen – with the help of Maryland Puma and Madlogic – of course – got my head bitten off by others for taking up so much time on this blog by doing so – all it did was help me find another dozen superdelegate information – so I think that is no small factor – although something is still strange acting with Google research – just using other search engines instead.

So I just realized, a week from today I’ll be enroute to Victoria, BC, for much-needed week’s vacation w/my 2 daughters.
Meaning, I need to finalize these Denver plans this week.
I’m leaning towards taking the bus, a carpool, or train down there, and flying back so I don’t have to miss more than 3-4 days work.

I’m trying very hard to remember how I actually became a PUMA. It seems like it was so long ago . . .
I remember that I was very upset with the DNC about Florida and Michigan. I just couldn’t believe what was happening, and I kept sending out emails to everyone I could think of. The VOTERS there had no control over when their primaries were held. They had no choice but to vote on the day that their polls were open. They left work, they hired sitters, they gave rides to the elderly and all things that it takes to have a successful primary. If the DNC was so hellbent on punishing someone, it certainly should NOT have been the voters. They took people’s votes away from them for having the audacity to vote on the day that their polls were open . . . . UNbelievable!
Anyway, I was SO upset about this and I kept trying to post on Hillary’s site. Someone there must not have liked what I had to say, because none of my posts went through . . . ever. As I recall, I heard someone on Hillary’s site . . . I can’t remember who . . . say that if her site should close down, we should all try to stay together. Shortly afterward, someone mentioned something called PUMA that might be starting up.
Thank goodness, because the feeling of disenfranchisement was so intense, I felt like I had nowhere else to go. I’ve been fighting Republicans for most of my life and then my own party goes and pulls something like this. What a slap in the face this has been.
The DNC and the Democratic party owes PUMA a huge debt of gratitude, even if they are too short-sighted to see it now. Standing up for what is right is always the best course of action.

One Voice

His children’s future would be horribly altered; his daughters left with few prospects to marry and his sons left to labor instead of leading the privileged life of a gentleman in his society. When he had put down but a few words, he was compelled to stop. He had called the King a Tyrant. Had he gone mad for provoking what would be a vehement and deadly response? Same here! I was at Hillary’s site for weeks and none of my posts went through. I still typed my comments though! And then when it was transitioning someone mentioned a site, so I goofgled it and arrived at Riverdaughter’s. That was the day they came up with PUMA, and then someone mentioned Murphy and I came here. It’s all a blur though… like being sucked through space by some huge vacuum and landing here.

If you’re out there — I would like to say that I saw your post on previous page about feeling invisible. Trust me, that happens to everyone.
I often see many in this blog who tend to get their feelings hurt if no one responds directly to something that is written. So I would like to state for everyone, that they need to come to this blog, voice their thoughts. All opinions are welcomed and you’d be surprise at how many comments are read and heard. But as many also point out, everyone also needs to expect that there may or may not be instant gratification or verification that the post is acknowledged. If you can put aside that expectation, and realize that all contributions have value, then you’d be surprised at how many do appreciate the the thoughts from everyone here (whether or not it is formally expressed or acknowledged).
For example, I have to work from home on the weekends and have deadlines to keep, so I don’t have time to always post. I’m just lurking throughout the day to keep up with the events of the day. But I still read through everything, and as you can see, I even read your post hebrew.que, evident as I am now mentioning it here.
Forgive the long winded post. My point is — I hope you won’t be discouraged from posting again. I love seeing your posts. I love seeing everyone’s postings. The seeds for ideas can come from the simplests statements sometimes.
As a side note… the accumulative effect of every post (large or small) helps to formulate a conversation and a sense of community. Every post helps us to envision the personality behind the messages. I think we have a vast variety of personalities in this community but what I find amazing is that the collective personality is equally amazing and beautiful. That’s why I find myself drawn to this forum every single day… and it’s hard to tear myself away… even when I have to work for a living.

I think it is Gov Palin – she said she is suing the committee that said the Polar Bears were an endangered species – I think it was called something else….She wants to use all of the Alaska resources. I lived there for 3 years and it is loaded with oil, coal, etc. You can go to the coast and “pick up coal” on the beaches…hello?? They have minerals and gold, etc. The state never wanted more exploration in there until recently. Whatever you want is there. Alaska is unlimited in resources. Unfortunately it is also affected by earthquakes and has some “dormant” volcanoes. And the farther north you get, the colder it gets.

Here is a good idea from my time spent spying on the BO site. They used to have a place on their site to donate Freq flyer miles from people who didn’t have time to travel to a state, but wanted to help someone participate in the primary. I hate to say it, but it was a good idea. There are probably people willing to donate freq flyer miles to help people get to Denver. I am going to Denver, but have Freq flyer miles on AA to get someone to Denver. We need a place on this site to make it happen. A bigger problem seems to be lodging, and I can’t find much helpful info. We need to be better organized in this area and i’m not sure how to make this happen. Suggestions?

Yesterday I heard that it takes 300 Delegates to sign a petition and Hillary has to sign off on it for her name to be put up for nomination or the party can override that and say she is up for nomination. I also don’t believe we can stop him with mere votes because that didn’t work in 2000 and 2004. Somehow his purse strings need to be cut and some kind of restraining order or injuction or order to cease and desist from the organized plan for the destruction of the USA. Something that can be enforced by the force of law. We just cannot, WILL NOT, turn our country over to him.
