#631 hillfan4mccain. Love to chat anytime. New products approved for Fibro: Lyrica - couldn't take it,
Cymbalta - seems to be working..

#848 Cosmeta.. I believe as you do. I saw the clip of that singer. They should have shut off her mike immediately.

I also remember about the "stranger coming out of nowhere and drawing throngs of people". I will be very frightened if BHO is elected.

He insulted my state, PA; called us bitter, clinging to our rifles and our religion. didn't like people that were unlike ourselves.

No, we don't like phonies in PA. He could not connect with us because he knew we would not fall for his lies..

We can not let this man in the White House. If not Hillary, then I will vote for McCain. I know he is a good American who believes in our values..

ZEE - you seem to be some sort of seasoned activist. Good for you.

My call to action is not about Denver. It is for us to talk to regular folks in our own home towns, you remember I mention grassroots ..to engage folks to come into the PUMA blog to enlighten themselves. I leave the activist stuff to smart folks like yourself. My call to action is for people to do something besides blogging.

You have a nice way of voicing your opinions ! I won't spend any more words on you.

#10 - BillK: Good post & you won't have to worry about part 3. Hillary won't leave the party nor should she. Never fear, she's a smart cookie & that's why she's kept all her delegates.

I believe it will be:

"we the people can convince enough Super Delegates to back Hillary at the convention."

Many here, me included, are emailing the Superdelegates daily.

I just hope that everyone's emails & letters are short, succinct, respectful and positive in tone, because remember the old saying, we can attract more bees with honey than with vinegar.

#144 Dances with Pumas.

To reply to your idea about wearing our signs. There are places where we can ORDER POLICE TAPE....that bright yellow or bright orange vinyl tape that police use to rope off crime scenes and accidents, etc.

You can get whatever you want printed on it!!!

I did this in 2001, and had "First Amendment Zone" printed on it, and then I fashioned SASHES for people to wear when we were corralled in those "zones" Bush confined the protesters to.

People LOVED them. Sometimes I'd get a $1 for one to offset the original cost, but mostly I just handed them out. They were also handy to count the crowd. If I made 50 of them, or 100 of them and looked around and saw roughly half, or one third of the people were wearing them (they went FAST!) I could quickly gage the size of the crowd.

PUMA could print these up....they come in rolls and must be cut to length and taped into a sash. Each bus could get a roll and people could make up the sashes en route to Denver.

I know everyone's moved upstairs....I wanted to get through every comment...whew. Impossible.

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE PUMAS DONATING FOR THE BUSES!

What about signs that one would wear as a vest…
sort of like an abbreviated poncho? PUMApac on one panel, No Deal or Do the Math, or Just Say No Deal on teh other panel? Gets the message across and allows for hands to be free.

Just brainstorming.

I think there are quite a few of us who are feeling a little ‘unproductive’ with all the blogging. We are ready to get out of our cocoon and comfort zone.

Talk is cheap.

===============

Dances with Puma....brainstorming is GREAT and talk is NOT cheap. For instance....has anyone carried large banners? They need air holes or you can't move. They need sticks, and without a MARCHING PERMIT, you aren't going to be allowed sticks. No one allows sticks any more.

Now, as to unfurling banners on the floor of the convention that is great IF you can smuggle them in (inside your clothes) and IF you can get delegates with seats to agree to do so. You will be escorted out, so this is not an easy action. CODEPINK was able to use many connections to get several of us in the 2004 Dem convention. The Kucinich delegates would not unfurl the banners and when we did we were escorted out.

In Denver...I'm sure it would be risking arrest.

It's all well and good to shout about ACTION ACTION ACTION as if we need to PANIC instead of taking the time to think, but when the person doing all the shouting is upthread advocating postering and flyering without FINDING OUT what the local codes are....well, thank HEAVENS for all the other, brainstorming PUMAs upthread who then posted the necessary info that it's ILLEGAL to stuff mailboxes, etc.

#300 Fred

====

There will also be a lot of gun-loving westerners in Denver to protest on behalf of their beloved 2nd amendment.

There will also be a lot of pissed off ANTI-WAR kids none too pleased with Obama's flipflops.

It's not gonna be just two opposing camps.

The damned LaRouchie nuts will be there in force, too, with their anti-Soros magazine.

lol, I tried to tell the dupes at Unity, NH who took the mags that it was a cult but because I wasn't pro-Obama they just sneered at me.

Little did they know the LaRouchies hate Obama and have been targeting Hillary-supporting sites. They were too young to even remember LaRouche from the last few elections, let alone back in the seventies when he was a felon.
