Let’s have a peaceful night. Riverdaughter reminds us that anger, though necessary and inevitable, must be harnessed and directed thoughtfully in order to prevent it from becoming destructive. We especially need to avoid the sometimes self-destructive outcomes born of anger and frustration. Yes, we are angry and we have cause to be. Yes, we are right and the DNC, the media, and the Obama Movement are wrong. But we have many days and nights and weeks of work ahead of us. Let’s not allow our impatience and frustration with a broken system, an indifferent and dismissive leadership, and an antagonistic media to force us down — down into discouragement, down into despair, or down into distrust of each other. We really are all in this TOGETHER, or all outside alone.
Well, the warm fuzzy glow of the longest primary season infatuation in history is starting to cool. A decided chill is setting in for the Precious. The kool-aid effect is finally starting to wear off. People are waking up. The media is starting to get skeptical (here, here, here, andhere). The polls are reflecting this skepticism (here and here). Left Blogistan is showing distinct signs of disarray (here, here, here, and here).
We can stop this train wreck of a candidate before he loses us the White House and inflicts untold damage on the Democratic party.
We need to stay united, firm, and active.

Challenge yourself to today to spread the Puma PAC message far and wide this weekend. The checklist is short but important.
Download, print, and distribute 100 flyers, drop-cards, and/or brochures in your community. At parks, senior centers, shopping malls, etc. Think of it as if you’re back in the primaries, knocking on doors and talking to people about the candidate. Only this time you’re spreading the word about Puma PAC — asking people to check us out, learn more, and get involved.

This has been quite a week Pumas.
