Good morning Pumas!!!! I just want to share something with ya’ll. The petition on Care2 to stop Puma has a site. It’s called: http://yestodemocracy.org/
Now, if ya’ll go there, you’ll find the blog on top accusing PUMA voters of vandalizing the cars in Orlando, FL.. but the second blog is “ANGRY PUMAS email me”.. yeah, right.
Well, it has a copy of an email from Lavenia…and guess what, that’s me. However, here’s the story. There was a link posted on one of our threads about a petition to STOP PUMA.. I wanted to see what it was all about and who was behind it, so I followed the link over to Care2.petitions (seems they have plenty of petitions over there and anybody can come up with one). Now, this is where I think it gets interesting. Some of the other Pumas on that late-night thread signed the petition (which BTW is up to all of 53 sigs), with names like unto Donna Brazile and Nancy Peloser.. etc. and made comments that way. I DID NOT SIGN the petition, however, I made use of the comments section to send them my comment. I asked them something along the lines of “why is there a petition to STOP PUMA, are ya’ll against little things like the constitution, freedom of speech, etc., and I also told them I was not a Republican and if they’d like to do some research into it, I’ve actually been a Democrat for 40+ years, a few more little things, but I believe all in all I kept it at that level, not bashing, but questioning their motives…
then I get an email back to my email on yahoo.com from “christina baker” <chris.bee@hotmail.com”, who I suppose is the author of this petition and within the email it gives me the link I posted above to yestodemocracy.org..
when I went back to look at it last night I found that blog about ANGRY PUMAS email me.. and my name.. NOT a copy of my comments or a reference to the fact that I commented (NOT EMAILED) and that the comments were not going specifically to “christina baker” but were instead comments to the petition (heck, I didn’t know where or to whom the comments were going at that time.. at that time, I didn’t even know about yestodemocracy.org). Actually, I can prove that I responded via the comments section on the petition, because since I like to keep track of stuff, I saved a copy of the email Ms. Baker sent me back which includes the copy of my “comments”.
Sooo, it’s rather interesting, I think, because it really does prove, or so I ABSOLUTELY BELIEVE, that people like Ms. Baker and other Obamabots distort the truth, just like Nobama himself, in order to keep on force-feeding the kool-aid to others.
Don’t know what I’m going to do with her email to me which includes the section of what I sent to their comments, but I’ve got it in my folder and if I can think of any way to use it to discredit them.. I will do so.
Anybody have any ideas in that regard. I was a bit burned at first on seeing my name on that blog.. and on seeing the blog accusing PUMA voters of vandalizing cars in JAX, but… why waste the anger on people with absolutely no integrity or honesty, right? okay.. I’m still a bit burned.

I know this goes back a few daily growls but the one for the flip flops I was just able to do this wknd. I just wanted to share something that made me chuckle in doing it. I did not send flip flops ($ and wasted shoe wear on the Chosen One / Beanhead) so I sent ads for flip flops on sale and some Puma Checks. What was funny wa in looking for ads for them – the two I settled on one was an ad for 70% flip flops for the Entire Family (I changed it to the Entire DNC Family and Friends) and the second one was for 30% off Men’s Flip Flops and the brand name of them was “Gotcha” – I laugh again as I write this…..made my day!
Okay, thinking this morning….advertising….does anyone have any knowledge on running ads on the side of buses in large cities? It would be a great way to put the PUMA name out and maybe a reasonable cost?
I do know this also, when I went to the Hillary rally in Cleveland there were two trucks with HUGE OB signs in the back driving around and around our crowd.
This could be a way for the PUMA group to do cheap advertising, put signs their truck beds and drive around OBAMA rallies and towns.
Also, I think the OB group had a billboard put on a flatbed. (Cheap but effective way for us.)
Of course I took pictures of the OB truck, so if any PUMA youtube maker would like copies please let me know.

Murphy, you out did yourself once again:-). I just shock my head and had to laugh when I heard a hound say the other dominate political party was funding Puma! With a little bit of reason and logic they would understand it is not about empowering political parties but rather how the party’s were formed to serve informed citizenry and empower voters, not the other way around.

Question: Should PUMAS ignore the accusation that we are behind the vandalism in Orlando, or should JustSayNoDeal coalition leaders make a public disclaimer? If indeed Pumas did this–I am ashamed of them for taking it too far, but it reeks of deception.
As someone on a previous thread mentioned, the location of the vandalism is near the city’s courthouse and is under camera surveillance. That should help in assessing the culprits.
I only bring this up, because it was shocking yesterday to see how they are trying to block our right to communicate via Internet. Yes, it gives us the knowledge that they are AWARE we are a threat–and that is gratifying in itself, but the slander against Murphy and now against our growing movement with violence offers us another opportunity to speak out–and it also gives us some PR…more and more will ask, “Who are the PUMAS?”
I will NOT vote for Obama. I am 58 years old and this with be the first time in my adult life that I will not vote for a democrat for President.

I vote YES we should respond. I think we HAVE to. Turn around that post article (mentioned above) about those who know the “truth” about Obama not just the rumors. Well, if PUMA or anyone else (JSND) is going to be accused of something as low as racist vandalism, we can’t leave that out there and not respond.
I can understand not dignifying it with a response, but IMO it’s too risky. Too many people don’t know much about PUMA and the last thing we need is for the one thing they hear about it to be that we might have been behind it.
I admit my first reaction to reading about the vandalism was “saw it coming”. That’s how they play. Oh wait, he’s getting into trouble… let’s make him look like a victim, make people sorry for him, make people write off or hate the movement against him.
We can’t afford to let them define us. Not online and definitely not off.

On the night of the NC primary, our campaign was at a pizza place watching the primary results. 10 minutes after the polls closed the man who owned our building called very upset and said some Obama supporters were pulling our signs down off our building and kicking the door. They saw him and yelled, “hey white man its over.” Needless to say, he refused to talk with any tv stations and was scarred to death. 2 blocks down the street at the court house the Obama supporters were marching and they were probably stragglers from there. Its something that will take me a long time to recover from. Its one of the reasons this political race has been so disheartening. I had many Obama people say mean things to my 9 year old granddaughter who campaigned with Hillary signs. At school, they tore her signs off her bookbag, etc. Sorry for raving. But I expect people to behave better than that and I am so saddened by the continued violence.

NC did seem a bit odd to me. I was in Charlotte for Hillary’s rally and was quite impressed with turnout and crowd energy. I was a bit surprised that the vote wan’t closer. I live in SC so wasn’t at the polls. Did you all expect it to be closer?

I have worked the polls there for many elections and this was something new. I use to listen to a R & B station here, Jim Joyner? Back several months ago all the radio station did was solicit young blacks to register to vote.
I saw this going on everywhere including in Good Will.
So, I shouldn’t have been surprised…… But I was.

I am in Wilmington NC, worked very hard on the local campaign. We had a great rally 5k. Which was great since we found out she was coming here the afternoon before. So not much time to get the word out and set up the rally. We couldnt get everybody in. I thought we would do better (votes). I was looking at the voter breakdown by county. Obama took the Durham area and north to VA line (large area). He took some areas around Charlotte and above. Hillary took the rest of the state. I was shocked to find such a HUGE victory for BO here.

I must have donated well over $500 to Hillary over the course of the campaign; a huge committment on my part considering that this year was the very first time in my entire adult life (to use MO’s term) that I have ever been so enthrilled and so involved in a politcal primary campagin; I usually only becoming involved at the General.
I may not be maxed out as far as what is allowed, but I am certainly maxed out as far as what I can afford to donate to Hillary, to PUMA or to McCain; and yes, even to our son who, in my opinion needs *my* help more than Hillary.

Well, she is one brave little girl. She is a blond headed blue eyed blundle of joy who goes to a 7 percent white city school that predominately supported Obama wearing her Hillary Rocks button and her I’m Hillary’s girl button. She met many powerful women like, Dr. Marica Dyson, Jehnue Greene, Heather Tom, etc. and it was wonderful. The last week of school she walked around like she was talking threw a blow horn saying, ” Go John McCain.” Her teachers said they were very proud of her and just how much she learned about politics. I am very proud too that we shared the whole experience. She was disappointed in not meeting Hillary but she did have a poem she wrote about Hillary signed by Bill Clinton. I was fortunate enough to meet both of them several times. Hillary is my hero. I don’t think there is a human being in the world who is so blessed with beauty, brains and humanity.

I have a friend who is black. Him and I go round and round because he has never EVER exercised his “right to vote” during any other election in his lifetime, until now.
Do you know what he told me when I asked him why is he bothering to vote this year?
“Because Obama is black man!”
I was up front and quite frank with him and told him that was the poorest excuse EVER to vote for a person because of the color of his skin.
I told him how I felt about Obama’s lack of qualifications. It didn’t matter to him. All that mattered was Obama is black.

don’t have time this morning to go back and see who posted the blog re: bus advertising/media and someone may have already answered but here’s what I know:
There are 3 types of bus media buys:
1) a wrap 2)side banner 3) bus tail
3) The least expensive is the “tail” (the back side that you stare, while in your car, when sitting in traffic behind a bus)
2) Side banners are next in cost, but can be read/seen only by pedestrians on foot or folks parked or sitting in traffic.
3) Wraps cover the entire bus, definitely gets the message out there, whether the viewer is in a moving car or on the street, some cool stuff out there, but cost $$$$$!
Bus transit Media buys are usually negotiated and contracted as 1-3 month minimum buys and the cost and available scheduling are determined by each cities’ transit company, and by individual bus routes. If you’re interested in purchasing transit advertising, the easiest way to find out the name of the company who handles your own city transit media, is to simply call your local bus company and ask them who handles it for them.
If Puma (Murphy) wants to buy transit space in multiple cities, I’d suggest using an agency to purchase and negotiate the buys for you–designating times, but be VERY SPECIFIC on the bus routes. This part is crucial in our case. Pumas want to strategically hit the right area demogs.
Like our votes, you’d want your every advertising dollar to count!

Also I noticed one more thing. They, the “o” supporters, seem to realize he can not win the general election.
No more about what a great president he would make, no more “change” no more that “o” is new kind of politician.

For those of you good folks talking about the North Carolina primary, there was likely massive vote fraud that took place in Republican areas of the Raleigh Durham area where Obama was supposedly getting a 14 to 1 advantage in these areas. It has all the whiff of some kind of fraud.
There was also vote fraud in the Obama areas in Indiana. Even Sen. Bayh said that a recount of all the ballots would show a bigger margin of victory for Hillary in Indiana.
George Soros & Co. along with Karl Rove were the likely culprits in this. The controlled media was complicit with their slanted and fraudulent coverage that evening. Yes,conspiracies exist. They may not be popularly accepted, but that does not make them false.
That said, we still have less than 2 months to organize against Obama and the impotent leadership of the Democratic Party.

I’m watching FOX and they are saying Obama is going to give a speech on patriotism. Is that his answer to everything? If I get criticized, I’ll just give a speech and it will go away.
Will a speech erase the 20 years he spent listening to Reverend Wright’s anti-American rants? Will a speech explain why he refused to wear a flag pin, belittling those who did, only to flip-flop and put it back on? Will a speech explain why he was photographed with his hands by his sides during the playing of the national anthem? Will a speech erase his friendship with William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, two terrorists who attacked the US Government? I think not.

I find it hard to believe any Clinton supporter would deface cars, etc. Smells fishy to me.
IMHO, Sen. Obama needs to directly address the generally bad behavior exhibited by many of his supporters. Unfortunately, I know of many state-level Clinton delegates who were treated very badly by BO delegates while at our local district caucuses and state convention. I can only hope that any BO delegates going on to the national convention will be better behaved.

1) The Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America starts out, “We the People”. Yet, the will of 18 million of “we the people” was usurped by the DNC, and “we the people” became “we the leaders of the Democratic party.”
2) The Supreme Court, in Reynolds v. Sims, 377 U.S. 533, 84 S. Ct. 1362, 12 L. Ed. 2d 506 (1964), established the principle of “one person, one vote” based on the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. The DNC/RBC ignored that principle on May 31, 2008, with their decisions regarding the voters in Michigan and Florida, and with their reassignment of uncommitted voters and Clinton voters to Obama.
3) In an article written by Mark Murray and posted April 22, 2008 on First Read, Senator Obama is quoted as saying, “. . .what we’re doing is making sure that every single voter in America has a chance to participate in the primaries. . .” What happened to Michigan and Florida voters, Senator? You had an opportunity to approve a revote, and you didn’t. Instead, you allowed voters to be relegated to ½ person status, and accepted votes that did not belong to you.
4) On August 18, 1920, the 19th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America gave women the right to vote. Yet, 88 years later, women still are fighting for equality in every aspect of life. This was never more apparent than this primary race, where the mainstream media, Obama surrogates, and Senator Obama himself, engaged in the most despicable expressions of sexism and misogyny towards Senator Clinton and, therefore, all women. The Democratic party remained silent.
5) A nominee selected by the Democratic party who counts among his friends, associates, mentors, and spiritual guides, the following: Jeremiah Wright, Michael Pfleger, Tony Rezko, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, and Rashid Khalidi, is not a nominee whose judgment I can trust.
6) From Rezko Watch: The squat brick buildings of Grove Parc Plaza, in a dense neighborhood that Barack Obama represented for eight years as a state senator, hold 504 apartments subsidized by the federal government for people who can’t afford to live anywhere else. But it’s not safe to live here. As the Boston Globe’s Binyamin Appelbaum wrote on June 27, 2008, this is a “[g]rim proving ground for Obama’s housing policy.”
7) In February 2008, Senator Obama issued a statement on the FISA bill, declaring “I am proud to stand with Senator Dodd, Senator Feingold and a grassroots movement of Americans who are refusing to let President Bush put protections for special interests ahead of our security and our liberty.” This week, he announced his support for that same bill. Flip. Flop. Can’t be trusted to keep his word. On MY privacy rights.
9) PRIDEChicago Celebration 2008 – 39th Annual Parade, Sunday June 29. In Chicago, The Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade is an institution. LisaNC, I, too, was verbally assaulted by BO lunatics, in my case, when standing outside the Hillary campaign office in Louisville, KY while holding a Hillary for President sign. There were about 30 of us with signs and we were being polite, smiling, waving, as people drove by. Many beeped their horns in approval and waved, but the Obama people were vulgar and hostile. I mean, extremely hostile! BHO people were yelling “F” you! “F” Hillary! Obama rocks!, etc. One woman, I swear, stopped and nearly got out of her car as she went into a 3 minute long rant at me, screaming about how Obama was the only one to vote for. I didn’t say a word to this woman to provoke her. There were children standing there, holding Hillary signs and hearing all this. I made up my mind, then and there, I wouldn’t vote for BO no matter who was running against him. I met my husband at a nice restaurant after the rally. He asked me what was wrong. I said that I have never been spoken to like that in all my 58 years. And I couldn’t eat my dinner. I took my dinner home in a box and my teenaged daughter ate it the next day. I will never vote for this man. He and his followers have absolutely no morals and no scruples whatsoever. Watching this whole Obama-is-the-new-messiah thing play out reminds me of that movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Everyone around me is turning into an unrecognizable (Obama) automaton. Regarding whether or not we should respond to the accusations of vandalism….I think this deserves the same response we made to HOUND….laughter.
Henry, I haven’t been brave enough to wear a McCain pin yet but your experience gives me courage. I have had about as much verbal abuse at the hands of BObots as I am willing to take and the thought of being ambushed by their blabber while I am out and about has kept my McCain gear on my desk. I know there are many people out there who will not vote BO but don’t want to be hassled by BObots for their choice and so they keep it quiet but it is important to take a stand so other PUMAs don’t feel they are alone. I have a bumper sticker that says something like “I want a President not a Messiah” but since my kids drive my car I am afraid of them being targeted by BObots. I guess I better get over my fears.

As a PA resident, I apologize to my fellow PUMAs for the actions of my Governor. It is a sad day when Ed Rendell goes from reluctantly drinking the Kool-Aid to actively supporting the denigration of us American voters who refuse to support the Empty Suit Campaign.
My girlfriend – an Obamabot, if you can believe it – asked me how I can support McCain given Obama’s similarity with Hillary on the issues. ISSUES? I did vote for the issues – that’s why I supported Hillary! But forget it if Obama NOW wants me to look to the issues.

I’ve had people ask me the same question about supporting McCain, they throw Roe v Wade in my face and the fact that I’m a lesbian as reasons not to support him. To them I say:
1. If you really believe Roe v. Wade is going to be overturned then you obviously have not read the decision and do not understand that it has little to do with abortion. Roe v. Wade is not going anywhere.
2. Though I would not call McCain a friend of the gays, he is certainly not an enemy to us. He opposed the federal amendment to ban gay marriage.
3. We are currently in a time of war and we need someone in office who understands the military and has a strategy that puts the fewest of our barve soldiers at risk. Given the fact that McCain has a child fighting in the middle east, I feel very confident giving him this responsibility.
4. The beauty of this country is that we get to vote and at the end of the day, I feel to vote for BO would put our country at risk and my conscience could not handle that.
Does anybody really think there is the whitie tape? Each passing day I don’t think so, but I would not be suprised that Michaelle said something about race that may come back to hurt her.

A talking point for those of you who are being harassed for not supporting Obama.
Obama was selected as the nominee, not by a fair election, but by collusion between the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee, which violated its own rules, and party elites who strong-armed the superdelegates. This makes him an illegitimate nominee. To support him is to support the actions that got him where he is. Those actions are undemocratic and indefensible.

My first post here:
I’ve been enjoying lurking and reading these pages for the last week or two, but I can’t manage the time to ever finish one thread! So many posts, so little time!
I’m a 57 year old lifetime Independent/Democrat who decided months ago that I couldn’t force myself to vote for Obummer. I started out supporting Edwards, but switched to Hillary after New Hampshire and listening to her debate. I agree with what I read here about the travesty of this primary election season. I’ve heard from folks who went to caucus and found that the Obama people were loud, aggressive, and basically strong-armed undecideds into joining their caucus. So that’s how he won so many caucus votes!
I’ve voted at the AOL straw poll and at the Care2 petition site today. I also posted at CBS http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2008/06/30/politics/horserace/entry4218605.shtml?mpid=1732 today.
Now I better get back to work, but rest assured, there are many of us middle class, middle aged men who are with you in spirit, and I take resentment when I hear that all Hillary supporters are women! Not that there’s anything wrong with that!

I have seen both of your contributions and feel you bring alot to PUMAS. Re: the question about contributions…MY feeling is that EVERYONE contributes something, they can help out financially, some with research, some with humor to keep us sane, some with lnks to important info., some by writing letters, handing out flyers, etc..
THAT is what we are all about. If either of you choose to leave, it will be a great loss to PUMAS. I assume we are all adults and we all slip up occasionally. Each of us has different perspectives which is exactly why we are here. I f we all thought the same way we would be bots and not PUMAS.
Please try to work this out and I hope that no one loses on this and that we all gain.

Murphy, What a great intro today. I’m speechless. Sent my E-mail and snail letter to Dean with qualifications to be the next POTUS. Printed more flyers, business cards and post cards. I was so excited I finally received my PUMA stamps. Signed the petition on aol this am. I will be putting more flyers on cars this week. E-mailed PUMA flyers to several of my out of town friends. I will be sending my donation to PUMA in 2 weeks. I haven’t received my PUMA t-shirt yet. I think I also saw where there will be a new design? I will probably order another for my sister in Ohio. She needs more convincing to get with it and join PUMA. She is a hillary supporter but will never vote for HBO. Something like: “These are the people voting for noname — is that who YOU, your family, friends and neighbors are? Voting for him is voting for these people.

One final thing I have wanted to mention as a sidenote. Remember, in November college students are going to be back in school and pre-occupied with “other” things and finding time to vote isn’t one of their high priorites. History has repeatedly shown that they have a short attention span and although they might be registered, they do not necessarily come out to vote.
HOWEVER, I think college PUMAS are probably far more intelligent than bots and will vote because they are well-informed and understand the necessity and urgency to vote.
By the way, the dumber the comments made like people like Clark and the idiot saying McCain is heavier than what he was after being released as a POW, are really just helping McCain because alot of vets are going to be very upset about the stupidity of noname’s pundits.

That’s one of the problems with the internet and e-mail , comments, blogs, that people misread, or put meanings into the literal words that we write that were never intended. It happens all the time that people get easily offended or take things the wrong way when it would never happen if you were talking face to face and could respond immediately and verbally. This happens, just ignore it.

You would have to speak to the transit authority in the city that you are wanting to advertise in with regards to the buses. They usually run the show regarding this I believe. (You’d have to check from city to city. I believe most run the bus system through a transit authority but some may run it directly through the City government I belive. =P Don’t quote me on that though)

Well I must say that my little puma eyes are exausted! Just came from a BO blog and I feel as though they were all about 17. Nevermind the fact that they have no spelling or grammer skills. They kept going on about state deadlines to register to vote and cut offs to register if you will turn 18 just before the election. Are they really going to rely on young people and first time voters to win this thing? And they were fighting with each other and even called BO a wimp for throwing Clark under the bus. Very interesting indeed. I’m so glad to be back in the world of adults!

Just signed the petition! I usually don’t sign petitions unless Murphy tells me it’s ok to! Here was my comment.
Throughout my entire life I have always respected Democracy and the foundation of the United States. This primary season my rights and my vote have been violated and I won’t forget the underhanded tactics used by the media, the DNC, or Barack Hussein Obama to “secure” the election for the one they deemed suitable. I also can’t believe that those in power have been allowed to get away with this! I will not stand for the blatant destruction of Democracy that I have seen this year. I no longer support the Democrats, unless they get their heads out of their (Insert bad word here) and see the light of day, and will be voting for McCain in November. Congratulations to the DNC. You’ve done a splendid job of ensuring that the Democrats will lose an election, the year that it was just a given that the Democrats would regain the White House!

Been having lots of fun lately getting the word out this way… when we’re waiting in a Dr’s waiting room, crowded restataunt, grocery line etc, I use that time to catch my husband up on election news (from a PUMA perspective, of course). It’s fun to see people around us drop their conversations and try to inconspicously eavesdrop. Sometimes they even chime in which draws more attention to the conversation. Many people who don’t have internet (yes there are still some out there) are not aware there’s a huge undercurrent of revolt going on. They have just resigned themselves to believing the Obomanation is ineviteble. We have to do more to reach this group so they will know how important is is for them to still get out and vote. They are not alone.

I am willing to do everything that it takes to notify my local area to this puma movement. A lot of people here are frankly pissed off because of how the DNC handled the election. My own grandmother a longtime democrat is ticked off.
She told me she probably won’t be voting this year for the first time in many years. I will probably vote for a third party or write in Hillary Clinton if that’s allowed since my state obviously isn’t a swing state.

Each state of the United States has an obligation to remove Obama from its ballot. This is an obligation under the U.S. Constitution on each state.
Moreover, Obama is not entitled to his delegates at the Democratic National Convention because he is using a b.c. on his web page that the state of Hawaii says lacks the seal and signature. Delegates pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States and most have sworn allegiance to the U.S. Constitution. They have an obligation to deny Obama the nomination while he is using a b.c. determined by the state of Hawaii to lack the seal and signature on his web page.
This is so important, Hawaii has stated that BO’s birth cert. is missing the seal and the signatures, therefore it has to investigate it for possible fraud.
After what BO did to his competition for the senate, Karma has come calling!

I went to Lobby Delegates.com for info on super delegates uncommitted and or committed to HRC.
Then, I pulled up the excel spread sheet on the PUMA action center. I see some conflicting info between two sources.
Can anyone tell me which is the most up to date source? And, could someone please tell me what the GE column stands for on the PUMA spreadsheet?
For example, on Lobby Delegates.com, Sherrod Brown (OH) is listed as uncommitted. On the Puma spreadsheet, Obama is listed in the GE column for Sherrod Brown. Does this mean Sherrod Brown has endorsed/committed to Obama?
(I want to start sending love notes to uncommitted delegates in the traditional swing states — although according to Nobama, this could be a big waste of my time. I do believe he has said he can win the election without winning quite a few of those swing states. Mmm.)

I may seem to be going out on a limb here , but I believe that Clark’s statements about McCain are absolutely BRILLIANT . Clark has been an ardent supporter of Sen. Clinton , and what better way to continue supporting HER than by ‘representing’ Obama in attacking McCain’s Patriotism ( of all things) ? I ,personally, think Clark is crazy like a fox , and in his assertion of the necessity of those ridiculously ambitious military qualifications to being the Commander in Chief , he only further pointed out Obama’s greater weakness . I mean , come on , all Clark did was re-hash McCain’s unbelievable service record , and , even though , he was SAYING it wasn’t good enough to make him POTUS , the message was clear that if all of the great things McCain has done doesn’t qualify him to lead our troops , where does that leave Mr. ” I didn’t join because there wasn’t a draft” ? I think Wesley Clark is still on our team , and if I’m right , we owe him a big fat ‘Thank You’ because it is going to take awhile for Obama to distance himself from an attack on McCain’s patriotism …. Just my thoughts ..

That was the biggest hypocritical speech I’ve ever heard. Those are not his words – they are the words of a gifted speechwriter and a teleprompter. For once I would like to see the man give a speech from his heart and his mind, not from someone else’s. But when in that situation, he is anything but eloquent.
If he is for COUNTRY first, and encourages political DISSENT, then why do his supporters continually degrade, denigrate, insult, and threaten those of us who no longer believe the process and policies of the DNC are Democratic and representative “of the people, by the people, for the people”!
We are not racist. We are not bigots. We are not sexist. We are not REPUBLICANS.
The PUMA movement is for those who no longer have faith or trust in the DNC, not for or against any particular candidate. We act on the voices of our members – the Voice of the Voters.

One of the topics he raised was Obama’s perceived move to the center, and what it means. Thus began my weekend obsession. If you were within shouting distance of me, odds are we talked about it. I talked about it over lunch with HuffPost’s DC team, over dinner with friends, with the doorman at the hotel, and the driver on the way to the airport.
As part of this process, I looked at the Obama campaign not through the prism of my own progressive views and beliefs but through the prism of a cold-eyed campaign strategist who has no principles except winning. From that point of view, and taking nothing else into consideration, I can unequivocally say: the Obama campaign is making a very serious mistake. Tacking to the center is a losing strategy. And don’t let the latest head-to-head poll numbers lull you the way they lulled Hillary Clinton in December.

#346 – McCaindemo – We are following up on the flower-message to Hillary. This gesture needs some media attention and an effort is underway to get it out there. A call to her campaign headquarters (if someone would give me the number again–I will do this myself) in VA could also help us verify that they were “noticed.” Obviously, Hillary can’t acknowledge us publicly–we are a PAC, and not supposed to be associated with a particular campaign, etc. But all of us who actually sent in orders got verification from florists that they were delivered. I have no worriest about good ol’ Bill. He’s only playing the game as well. It looks bad for BO to have Bill angry at him, so they had to mend the fence. The official statement issued today is rather bland, even by political spin standards.
Bill is passionate. I wouldn’t doubt for one minute that he had to be chained down and locked behind a few steel doors to calm him down after the travesty of this primary. The BO spinners have defiled his legacy, just when he had shaken off some of the residue of the past and was building such goodwill across the world.

1. I voted in the petition
2. Regarding Barack giving a speech. That is going to be his delivery style for this campaign. His staffers have already said that Barack will talk to the American People in the style and format that “they have come to respect, trust, and support.” So, his patriotism is being questioned with his Birth Certificate, his ancestry, his allegiances, and friends. I got an email from my cousin that is “way over the top” and I would never post it on this blog, but they (Donna B. and Howard) call us HATERS. We are lovers compared to other anti-Barack groups. With that said, he feels he needs to whip us into a Patriotic Frenzy in order to justify that he can be respected by “Wesley Clark’s, et.al.” The McCain camp is already questioning why he HAS NOT planned to visit the troops in Iraq or why he has not tried to make an additional trip outside the one in 2006. REASON: Can you see the meeting between him and Gen. Petraeus when that happens? When the General was giving his review of the benchmarks back in March or April to the House and Senate, Barack’s questions were vague and sounded stupid…as some recorded it. He did NOT ask to visit with the General in a private meeting as the other candidates did at the time. He wants to visit Iraq, but he has got to get this Patriotism flaw under control. So we get a speech. Have a problem, give a speech. I will submit part 2 later. It will be points of why many Americans have drank the koolaid and are “blinded” by his person. Stay tuned.

Obama criticized MoveOn.org over its controversial ad.
(CNN) — Barack Obama on Monday seemed to take a direct swipe at MoveOn.org, the powerful liberal group which endorsed the Illinois senator’s candidacy earlier this year and was at times instrumental to his organization in several key battleground states.
In a speech designed to combat charges he lacks patriotism, Obama sharply condemned organizations that use “these old, threadbare arguments” to level criticisms and specifically pointed to MoveOn.org’s controversial newspaper ad last fall that attacked the top U.S. general in Iraq, David Petraeus.

“All too often our politics still seems trapped in these old, threadbare arguments – a fact most evident during our recent debates about the war in Iraq, when those who opposed administration policy were tagged by some as unpatriotic, and a general providing his best counsel on how to move forward in Iraq was accused of betrayal,” Obama said.
MoveOn has not responded to Obama’s comments.

After it came out that yestodemocracy.org accused PUMAs of vandalism in Orlando and posted a response to one of our own’s emails (lotts1948), I have been scoping out the posts and comments and adding comments of my own (as Heather, my real name). You may have also read about the petition on Care2 from yestodemocracy.
Christina, who appears to be responsible for all of this, states she is a Democrat and claims that the PUMA movement is made up of Republicans. FYI, here is the latest exchange between us:

went in to the videos on Youtube by professionals for Hillary. They started when she was still a candidate and were made by rising stars for Hillary. They were all paid for by Hillary’s campaign according to the ad and were pleas for money directing you to go to her website and asking you to have 10 friends go. They apparently started just before the last 5 primaries. The videos are beautiful. Lots of great Hillary shots.

I haven’t been able to blog the last couple of days, but I’m back for awhile. Also, had severe thunderstorms today and electricity and cable were out for hours.
Didn’t read all of the posts as I have to cook dinner; however, I did call the Orlando Police Dept. regarding the vandalism and I spoke to an officer. I emphatically told him that the garbage that was spray-painted on all the cars were definitely Obama thugs. This is what was reported: “IN ADDITION TO THE SPRAY PAINT THE CULPRITS LEFT BUSINESS CARDS WITH POLITICAL RAMBLINGS.
THE CARDS SLAMMED OBAMA AND SENATOR JOHN MCCAIN — BUT SUPPORTED HILLARY CLINTON.
THEY ALSO CALLED FOR THE LEGALIZATION OF MARIJUANA AND AN END TO THE BUILDING OF NEW PRISONS.” I told the officer no way would Hillary supporters be calling for the legalization of marijuana and an end to building new prisons. He agreed with me but said that they had no proof and were still investigating. Too bad there weren’t any video cameras. What aggravates me is that the bots are not happy they have their unqualified candidate and Hillary was denied the nomination. What the DNC has created is a monster and it can only get worse.
Also, I’m very upset about Bill Clinton’s apparent support of Obama and Wesley Clark’s comments about McCain.
I have not been able to convince one Obamamaniac to stop drinking the kool-aid. Very sad.

Well, the MoveOn flap seems to have given some legs to my reasoning on post #449. Whether he was genuine or not, he had to use something that a majority of Americans remember and can relate to. This is Barack at his best. Do whatever it takes to become President. It would not surprise me that he told them before he made the statement that he would be mentioning their actions for reference. Not surprised one bit.

My daughter is a college student with a history major and a music minor. As part of her music training (she plays 11 instruments) she has studied canence and rhythm. She tells me that the way Obama phrases his speeches is directly related to cadence. This is a tool used by military and other groups to ‘get the song into their heads’ to block out any other distractions.
Just like the military say ‘sound of 1-2-3-4 12 34′ the 10 sylible cadence that is used in the Obama speeches is stimulation for the brain to put it into conformance mode.

Barack is the Willy Wonka of today. My reference is with the original version of the adaption when Gene Wilder played Willy. I could fill the page with Barack and Willy comparisons, from Axelrod to the guy that wore the wire framed glasses that followed each golden ticket winner around. The one thing that stands out most in the comparison is when Willy told his visitors “Who can make the sunshine, sprinkle it with rain, and then turn it into a rainbow?” —-Wonka can. Willy also constantly reminded them that he(Willy) could be ANYTHING that THEY wanted HIM to be. Got some free time, pick up the DVD (original version not the Johnny Depp version) and see for yourself. A Master Magician. BTW, Depp’s version was cool–a fan here.

I saw the article and heard on FOX Britt hume show about how Obama(Mr. I support equal rights and pay for women..blah blah) actually has significantly fewer female staffers and the females are paid over $6000 less than the men! In contrast McCain has more female staffers then men and they in general are higher ranking and making at least 3-4 thousand more then the guys. Action speaks louder then JUST WORDS Sen. Obama. Hillary supporters already know he is no friend of women–hypocrite. Just a comment regarding members/posters leaving. I don’t know what this issue is regarding Cosmeta, but they have been a tremendous asset with information, ideas, and PUMA Action/Tasks. They (Cosmeta) has given me answers and suggestions with my issues/posts over the past several weeks. They have earned my respect in what they have done. I have been guilty of falling prey to “cut and shoot” posters at times when I was p.o. at what was going on, etc. It only takes 1 lose cannon to sink half an arsenal. Just my thoughts and I hope, Cosmeta, you reconsider.

Here’s a bit of a cautionary tale on the under-rated power of those “report abuse” or “flag this blog” features that you see on websites (including this one) of all types.
Several anti-Obama, or pro-Clinton, blogs that run on Blogger — Google’s free blogging platform — have been disabled after somebody complained — falsely — that they’re spam.
It’s a similar tactic to one that’s been used on (also Google-owned) YouTube to make videos considered objectionable by various political wings harder to get at; and it’s part of a broader, worrisome trend in which features designed to promote community control wind up permitting a form of censorship.
Google didn’t respond to my email seeking comment, and I imagine that if the bloggers are persistent, the company will reactivate their accounts. But this would be a handy way to cripple an opponent’s grassroots in the final days of a campaign, when a few hours lost can make a real difference, and while an Obama supporter seems to have used it this time, there’s no reason others can’t in the future.
There’s no obvious solution — community reporting of abuse is the best of imperfect systems. But it also lends itself to its own meta-abuse.
UPDATE: Google spokesman Adam Kovacevich suggests my longwinded free speech defense jumps to conclusions, and that the real culprit here was an errant spam filter. He emails:
We think blog spam is a serious problem and we have spam detection software to try to eliminate it. In this case, it appears that our anti-spam filters caused some Blogger accounts to be blocked from creating new posts.
While we are still investigating, we believe this may have been caused by mass spam e-mails mentioning the “Just Say No Deal” network of blogs, which in turn caused our system to classify the blog addresses mentioned in the e-mails as spam. We have restored posting rights to the affected blogs, and it is very important to us that Blogger remain a tool for political debate and free expression.

I have blogged about that on yestodemocracy.org, which has several accusatory and derogatory posts about PUMAs. ladyhawkke has a few posts earlier in this thread, SusyT, about how she talked to authorities in Orlando about it. Apparently they do not believe Hillary supporters are responsible.

This isn’t meant to be a “bash Obama” post or a purity troll post or anything like that. It’s simply my look back at what has been coming out of the Obama campaign since becoming the de facto Democratic nominee on June 3rd.
In a nutshell, my observations of the Obama campaing since June 3rd has been a sudden and almost complete conversion into a “traditional” Democratic campaign, a la Kerry 2004. On both substantive issues (FISA) and “process” (Clark’s comments on McCain’s foreign policy experience), it’s as if the Obama campaign advisers names changed from Axelrod and Plouffe to Shrum and Penn. Seriously.
Is the Obama Campaign’s change in strategy since June 3rd working?
Yes! The Obama campaign is kicking ass and taking names.

The DNC has left both I and millions of other Democratic voters hanging like a “CHAD”.
I have to agree with Donna Brazile, that if the “Will of the people” is overturned by Delegates, I will consider leaving the party.
Would I vote for Obama? “I’ll have to think about it”.………………………from my cold dead hands………..…….Not only am clinging to my guns and religion, but also my right to choose whomever I believe to be the best candidate for this 2008 Presidential Race.

It should be clear to everyone by now that HBO will say anything, flip-flop on anything, and do anything to get elected. Everytime he is criticised about anything he immediately makes some lame excuse like a little child. And his supporters are even worse. I have no doubt at all that the vandalism of cars in the Orlando area was the work of his supporters in an attempt to smear the PUMA’s , who have no need to resort to such tactics.

Where was all of this money after Katrina hit and his people needed food, transportation, clothing, shelter, and medical services?

Where was all of this money when his young people couldn’t afford to go to college so they could compete for better jobs?

Where was all of this money while his people still live in the streets, eat out of garbage cans, go without medicine, and die with no one caring?

Well on the flip flop front, the Fox news guy said that McCain has shot back by painting Obama as flip flopper and Juan tried to then say that in all fairness — McCain has flipped flopped too. But if I were able to respond to Juan, I would like to make the point that I’m ok with a politician changing his position when he realizes that the times might require him to adjust. But the difference is that Obama changes his position every day depending on which audience he’s addressing. If he’s talking to Israel then he’s against the Palestinians. If he’s talking to the Palestinians, he’s against Israel. So many examples.
A few months ago Juan Williams said he was getting death threats since did not support Bo. Then after Hill’s speech he drank the kool-aide. Maybe now after all this flip flopping he is seeing the light again! Lets hope

I tried to look through the blogs, but they are so long that I couldn’t find the comments that upset her. I just want to say that I hope, if we are around when someone says something mean to another Puma, we will step in and tell whoever it is that they are out of line. We cannot just sit back and allow disputes to get to the point where someone leaves out of frustration. We are a team and we must look out for each other. OK, I needed to say that.
I am so angry for a few reasons…
1) I just watched Jim Lehrer’s program on pbs, and the topic was about “all of these blog sites that are coming out about the candidates” They asked a lot of questions but really didn’t answer any of them, but they definitely showed that the main stream media are getting worried because we don’t have to rely on them anymore. One guy said that this is all so knew that it’s a real learning experience and that they will have to keep trying to sort out the truth from rumors until they figure out how to “control this thing”..Sorry MSM but you have lost your power, thank God..
2) I went to the DNC official website to request the return of the funds I had donated to them before this mess came out. Guess what. They have a form for you to fill out for that purpose, but if you opt to use that form, they will not let it go through unless you check a box that states that you would like to receive emails from them and to give your email address…there are a lot of people who don’t know that they will use that information to try to solicit funds for Obama. I will just send my request in writing.

Bolton: Israel Will Strike Iran if Obama is Elected

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton believes Israel will stage a raid against Iran’s nuclear facilities if Democratic nominee Barack Obama wins the upcoming presidential election in November.
Bolton, often labeled a resolute neo-conservative, believes the Israeli attack would take place sometime between the day after Obama’s win and his inauguration on January 20 of next year.
In an interview with FOX News, Bolton says, “I think if they are to do anything, the most likely period is after our elections and before the inauguration of the next President.”
Bolton reasons Israel won’t be able to hold off a strike on Iran any longer than that given the Illinois senator’s intended foreign policy toward the Islamic Republic.
“I don’t think they [the Israeli government] will do anything before our election because they don’t want to affect it,” he says, adding, “They’d have to make a judgment whether to [strike] during the remainder of President Bush’s term in office or wait for his successor.”
Bolton points to Obama’s statements in which he says he would engage Iran in direct talks and take the military option for dealing with Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons off the table, a position he believes will further embolden Tehran to build a nuclear bomb.
In a related interview with The Telegraph, Bolton says he believes Arab countries will support an Israeli strike, effectively ending Iran’s nuclear ambitions, while publicly denouncing it.
Their reaction, he tells the British paper, “will be positive privately. I think there’ll be public denunciations, but no action.”
Bolton thinks Israel may consider postponing the attack, however, if Senator John McCain, R-Ariz., emerges as the victor in the presidential race. He says McCain’s stance on Iran “is far more realistic than that of the Bush administration.”
Bolton doubts Iran would respond immediately with a counterstrike of its own, partially because Tehran would fear an American reprisal.
Earlier this month, Israel held a massive air force exercise over Greece that U.S., Israeli and Greek sources later confirmed was a test run for a strike on Iran’s main uranium enrichment plant.

C-Span2 is broadcasting a focus group iterview talking about Democrat primary and who supported Hillary in primary (most) and the ones that did said they supported her 100% over Obama. Asked why she lost, all said the media except one who didn’t know why she lost. All said she was smart and ‘had the goods’ to run the country. Only one said they would vote Obama, but only because she said she was supporting him. I heard this group was set up by the Obama campaign to see how much they need the Clintons support. Several said if he chooses her they will vote for him, but some say they don’t trust him and will not vote for him. Several said they would if he picks her for vp.
C-Span reruns these programs several times, so you might want to watch for it to run again later.

I may be a Democrat, and I used to respect Gen Clark, but that was totally uncalled for. Did Wes Clark spend 5 years in a POW camp with broken legs and shoulders/arms now so scarred from injury so that he cannot lift his arms above his head? No! I do not care how one feels about Sen McCain, if you’re a Dem or Repub or Independant – there is no reason to question McCain’s leadership abilities or qualifications to be Commander in Chief. If anyone knows what war is all about and the costs, it is McCain. Not to mention that it was just plain silly for him to say that stuff since he’s backing the empty suit, vacuous, wet behind the ears candidate! Rediculous.
I’m done venting. But being past military myself, Gen Clark’s comments made, obviously trying to score political points for his empty suit candidate, just plain rubbed me wrong. If that camp wants to debate experience, I say McCain should tell them to bring it on.

Why Obama & Dean Fear 4 Million!
A Message From An Independent Conservative.
This weekends PR stunt or “unity” fest underscores a problem for the presumptive Democratic nominee. The problem can be summed up in one word: PUMA.
Since the end of the Democratic primaries the DNC has been plagued by this growing group of Hillary Clinton supporters who have pledged to vote against Barack Obama and reform the Democratic Party that is clearly more interested in power than moving the country forward. In recent weeks Democratic leadership has bombarded the press with a message of unity and a fall-back to the talking points meant to divide this country such as abortion.
So how much of problem does PUMA and Just Say No Deal represent to the Obama campaign?
A huge one and here’s why:
PUMA and Just Say No Deal are comprised of Hillary Clinton’s most ardent supporters and represent what Richard Nixon once referred to as the “Silent Majority”. They are middle class values voters, the “Reagan Democrats”, who position trust, personal and religious beliefs, a profound love for their country, and political education at the forefront of their political decision making. The PUMAS embody the fighting spirit of our founding fathers, driven by a belief that our country, not our political parties, should come first.
Immediately following the Montana primaries, the Obama campaign, DNC, and Obama supporters immediately began their attempt to win back the votes of the Just Say No Deal community. Understanding that this group could lead to potential disaster for the “presumptive nominee” the Obama campaign turned the politics of “division and distraction” to win back their vote. With hours of the primaries Obama supporters websites lit up with stories viciously attacking John McCain as a womanizer who abandoned his ex-wife for petty reasons and pursuit of a more attractive companion. The stories manipulated the relationship between McCain and former Wife (who has supported McCain in every campaign) and focused on a relationship strained by horrible personal tragedies that would forever-change anyone in their positions. The stories quickly faded, but displayed a disturbing reality that the Obama campaign would stoop to the lowest levels to win back support of the Puma Community.
In the weeks that have followed, the Obama campaign and his supporters have bombarded Puma Network bloggers with messages and stories of “how a McCain presidency would overturn Roe v. Wade”. Of all the campaign issues that the Obama campaign could have chosen, they chose to garner support from the PUMA campaign by launching a campaign of fear-mongering surrounding the most divisive political issue of our time.
The message of unity from the Democratic Leadership has unfortunately worked with a majority of Hillary’s supporter, but has failed with the quarter of Hillary’s supporters who hold the power to destroy an Obama candidacy. The media, with few exceptions, has ignored this group and overlooked their strength; but Barack Obama and Howard Dean know they are in trouble.
Mr. Obama and Mr. Dean understand that Obama needs the 25% of Disengaged Clinton supporter to win the general election; a group that represents 4 million voters who would have easily changed the outcome of every election since 1988. Obama and Dean know that they must find a way to bring in new voting blocks because his base of support is simply tapped out. This Democratic primary season has brought forth the largest turnout since 1972. But as we learned in 1972, the groups who overwhelmingly support Obama are not likely to produce growth in the general election. This reality is reflected in the Obama campaigns attempts to now shore up support with the gay community and evangelical communities at the same time (it will be interesting to see how he handles this pandering).
Why Does Obama Fear 4 million?
The PUMA Community represents the most ardent, values driven and politically educated of Hillary Clinton’s supporters. They do not fall for the traditional talking points of the political parties that are meant to drive a wedge between the electorate. When McCain was attacked as a Womanizer and accused of not supporting equal pay; this community researched the issues and pointed out the divisiveness and fallacies of the accusations. When Obama and his supporters brought abortion to the forefront of their argument, the Puma community was quick to point out that historically speaking the “Overturning Roe” threat has been disproved simply by the fact that after years of Republican judicial appointments SCOTUS has shown no desire to take up the issue. Obama fears the Puma community because they are not the typical single-issue voters who will fall for rhetoric.
The Obama campaign fears the voices of these 4 million who understand the issues and fear an Obama presidency. The overlook the populist rhetoric spewed on the campaign trail and understand that Obama has offered criticism without solutions. The most dangerous threat to the Obama campaign is a large grass-roots movement intent upon educating the masses who have been mesmerized and hypnotized by the Obama’s tongue. The understand the inquality and mainpulation within the Primaries and are understand the lack of solutions presented by the anointed Obama. Moreover, they have proven that they will not be silenced. They continue to show up at Unity events and have forced the media to recognize their strength. The Obama campaign and DNC has attempted to ignore their voices and not acknowledge their strength, but the PUMA will not go away.
The next problem for the Obama campaign is fundraising. The summer months are typically the doldrums of campaign financing with most donations flowing in after the conventions. Obama flipped on his commitment to public funding because of this reason. The Obama campaign expected growth in the fundraising in May, especially in light of the heated primary race. Yet, Obama’s campaign donations dropped by 33% in May, while Clinton’s and especially McCain’s increased. The Obama campaigns understands that he must garner the support of Hillary Clinton and his donors must be willing to help her retire her campaign debt. If they don’t, there will be a backlash from even more Clinton supporters. However, Obama has no intention of pushing for a quick retirement of Clinton’s $20 million debt. He know that the PUMA community is still donating to the Clinton campaign and the sooner that debt is retired, the sooner their donations will flow to John McCain. Obama is banking on the fact that Clinton’s debt will not be retired before the conventions, thus limiting contributions to the McCain campaign by Puma’s and the spending of contributions by McCain who is taking public financing.
What Keeps Obama & Dean Awake At Night?
The fear that the PUMA community and their silent supporters will realize the power of their fundraising. If just half of those 4 million who do not support Obama were to immediately give $10 to both the McCain campaign and PumaPac, the influx of cash would spread the Puma message like a wildfire through the media while providing the McCain campaign with the extra resources they need to overcome the wealthy who have funded 60% of Obama’s campaign. If the just half of this 4 million were to contribute the media would be forced to question a campaign that they have more often referred to as a “movement”, than as the “political campaign” it is.
The Biggest Fear
In his farewell address, George Washington, highlighted and re-iterated the long time fear of Political Parties that our founding fathers shared. They understood that parties that remained unchallenged and unchecked would eventually subvert the power of the people to pursue the power of the party. This weekends love-fest of Unity and the formation of HOUND (an organization formed this weekend by Dem. Leadership to promote party unity) are representative of the very fears of our founding fathers. PUMA, whether you agree with their members personal positions or not, embodies the spirit of American Independence and the spirit of our founding fathers that our strength lies in the people, not in political parties. Dean and Obama, more than anything, fear that the PUMA and Just Say No Deal Community will renew this compact and profound idea that “We The People” not “We The Democrats or Republicans”control this nation.
The independence and liberties that this nation has embraced and embodied for 232 years will never survive if we allow party unity to overpower the American spirit. Pumas understand that and Howard Dean and Barack Obama hope that the rest of us don’t. So this upcoming independence day, embrace the beliefs of our founding fathers and when you hear the call for party unity, JUST SAY NO DEAL.

I talked to the investigating officer, experssed our interest and gave him some contact info. I think it is important for PUMA to express interest and support.

I support Hillary Clinton for President because she is the only candidate with actual experience. Compared to her years of public service, Barack Obama proves to be a very weak candidate. The fact that he was selected by the people in power as opposed to being elected by the people of the party is unforgiveable. (And yes, the people of the Democratic Party did elect Hillary Clinton. She won the popular vote in case you have forgotten) I will be voting for Senator McCain in November as a way of illustrating to the Democratic Party just what happens when you push people around. As someone who was bullied throughout my entire childhood in school, I don’t tolerate this kind of crap anymore. Good day to you sir. I have been reading that many of the Anti-Obama blogs were compromised. I also listened today to a radio interview with Larry Sinclair and what transpired after his, Press Conference, last week. I am horrified at what is happening in this country and what is happening to our right to freedom of speech.
I believe we are fighting for more then our appreciation for a candidate, and our view that she was robbed of her rightful place. I believe we are fighting for our Constitutional Rights, our way of life, what we have been blessed to have for centuries. That’s how important I think this election is, it’s about our FREEDOM!!! This is no longer a fight for one person, it is a fight for “WE THE PEOPLE” and all that we may have taken for granted for many years. Today, those rights are being spat upon by those who would like us to follow their lead, fall in line. These people believe we are too “spoiled” and too “lazy”, too involved with “American Idol” to notice that our rights are being deluded, softened, and soon to be eradicated.
I for one, will never vote for someone who has no resume to lead this nation. I for one, will never be swayed by words, because life has taught me, that words without actions mean nothing. It’s that simple.
As for the D.N.C., in my opinion they never thought for one moment that we would have the courage to stand up and say…”Hold on, I saw that………..that is not how I KNOW, Democracy works, and although, you are the party that I have been a member of for many years, in that one blaring moment, you told me that you have become, corrupt, and I chose not to follow your lead.

I still believe in the power of implosion and that Mr. Obama is going to experience “what goes around, comes around”, but I hope it is in time to save our country from the terrible specter of his presidency. I cannot believe the Clintons are supporting him, knowing what their values and beliefs really are – but this is politics and that is why PUMA is so integral to change. The mission statement outlined by Murphy is awesome – we are about positive change with actionable steps that are capacity building – not empty promises from a man in an empty suit.
The more people learn that we are not shrill, middle aged white women who are just disappointed that we are not seeing a female in the White House, the more credibility we gain, as well. Don’t hold your breath waiting for it to post then. I had one of my post on the Political Ticker stay in moderation for over 24 hours. I tried to re-post because what I had to say was valid in the discussion. By that time it had the message that the post was no longer active. Frustrating.
