Posted this downstairs but again here:
I wasn’t able to get any conf. details except via phone. The information they last had was that it was loaded on the truck for afternoon delivery, but they won’t be able to confirm delivery until tomorrow morning. So it is the confirmation that is in limbo, not the delivery, as i understand it. I gather it was too late in the day for them to be delivered, the florist to get back and submit the confs to 1800Flwrs. It said they will be avail by 11 am tomorrow.
FYI– sounds like they did get there ok! But even if not, they will have company tomorrow

Hi everyone. I just want to remind everyone of this weekend’s Iowa convention. They will be choosing delegates for the national convention. If we can convince the Edwards’s delegates to vote for Hillary, as well as, remind Hillary delegates not to switch, then we can strengthen Hillary’s position at the national convention and show them the tide is turning!
I don’t have contact info and I can’t download it from the Action Center because I don’t have Excel, so if anyone has info you can email it to me at phillyforhillary@gmail.com. Maybe we can put it on the Action Center in Word format, including Edwards’s delegates’ contacts throughout the country.

I am reposting this again. It is my judgment that a “dirty tricks” campaign is underway by *61′s for the GE. The idea to use his own organization fits with his alleged pattern of fraud and voter intimidation in the caucuses.
The groups that are fanning out around the country are coming from Chicago’s ACORN organization. It is a liberal community group that has ties to *61. When he sat on charitable boards, *61 directed money to many groups including ACORN. The difference is they have provided volunteers for many of his GOTV campaigns including his Senate bid.
There is a reason to his madness, and I believe a “dirty tricks” campaign is underway.
In VA, the DP is pushing for a measure to allow non-violent felons to vote. VA is a state that *61 hopes to win.
Remember the story in LA about dead people and pets being registered to vote. To me these are all planned organizational events.

Have been at working long hours and at a client so could not post for the past few days. Fist Murphy was great this morning – very articulate in expressing PUMA’s goals.
I just needed to comment on seeing Pelosi. Last night a PUMA stated my exact sentiments, “It made my blood boil.” She did everything but say the Democrats don’t need the women who supported Hillary. I think it was the most condescending interview I have ever seen. I almost expected her to do the OB shoulder brush off when discussing those women who were upset only because Hillary did not win. I am sure everyone also noticed that she never stated any accomplishment of her selected candidate. According Pelosi, the only thing he brings to the position is that he is not from Washington. What a scary thought.

We spent a great deal of time in school talking about Nader because he caused a lot of problems for GM a long time ago. They had to build a big PR team in order to prevent the damage which he did to them.

Jeremy, Denver is very big on the environment. They are also big on promoting local business. If you have never been to Colorado, you are in for a treat. The streets are very clean. People just don’t litter. It is very green. Lots of bike paths, walking trails. Very health conscious. So when they suggest food items, they are talking from local vendors, organic, healthy etc.
Can’t we find an unknown journalist or journal student to help us out. We can’t wait two years.

We have to get in touch with Hillary. On the phone call she invited us all to her office. She should be able to take care of us. When HBO will loose in November Hillary will make sure that she will do everything she can to help us. Unlike HBO she can and does get a lot done for us every day. She WILL make sure that WE ARE NEVER invisible.
I agree with all the comments about Hill. She says she will campaign for OB, but she never lavishes any real praise on him. She goes right into having a Democratic congress. It is all about the party. I do really feel for her. It appears that she has had to do this to get her debts paid. But then that situation is almost you scratch my back and I will scratch yours because she is asking her contributors to support him. I hope I live long enough to read the books about what is really going on here.

What is it about this site that works so well?
I mean I used to have “pretend” fits over there at HillaryClinton.com when trying to comment and nothing would post. No such problem with Murphy’s pumapac.org. And all the commentary for the most part seems Obamabot-free. Murphy’s job of moderating has been made easy by this group of pumas.
A lot of posts can accumulate in just a few short hours too while at Hillary’s site it would take a day at least for 600 to show.
Just ruminating about why Hillary couldn’t have done a better job with her website. Seen it lately? It looks worse than ever. Forlorn and pitiable.
While touring as an opening act for that rock star Hillary might as well close down her site and start appearing at his.
Now about Murphy: With each passing day I learn more about your gift for communicating. I like how organized you are and the following you’ve been able to acquire in such a short period of time.

I had to leave for a while and spend some time with my son. I am sad because I checked on my order and mine wasn’t delivered today. They said it got in too late but I don’t know why that is because I was probably the first one to place it but whatever. he told me it would be delivered tomorrow before noon. That’s fine because it sounds like it will have company from the west coast. Again, thank you everyone for the mass effort in this, sometimes people just need a boost and I hope this will give her one.
Also, I wanted to comment on the things we’ll be hearing from her Friday and in the future. Don’t let it take from our mission which is no BO. There is a saying about walking a mile in your neighbors shoes so keep that in mind regarding Hillary. We don’t know how hard it is to be in her position. What we do know and our common thread is that we will never vote for an inexperienced candidate and it doesn’t matter who asks us too. That is besides the point.. We have our own minds and we will follow our own hearts. I have prrepared myself for the things I will hear so let’s make sure we all prepare ourselves.

This week has been designated as the coming together for Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton. As a prelude to their first appearance on Thursday evening in Washington, Mr. Obama asked his donors to begin pitching in to whittle away at Mrs. Clinton’s debt.
A senior Democrat said tonight that Mr. Obama asked, but did not demand, that his leading contributors help pay off debt of more than $11 million for Mrs. Clinton. It will be done, bit by bit, at chunks of $2,300 or less.”

Heard tonight on FoxNews… (can’t recall which show) that Hillary has said that she considers herself just another SuperDelegate now.
This is very distressing.
You have not pumaindy. I called the FEC to be sure. Any funds going to her must be used by her. They cannot combine or loan. If she doesn’t win nomination any funds left after debt is paid go to charity. Any money in her GE fund should be returned. They are bound by same restrictions as us. No more than the 2300.

#91 and #92, before I left to investigate another site…about 25 minutes ago, the page was taking a longer time than usual to refresh. I thought heavy traffic. When I came back, that was the first thing I saw. So, it has happened within the last half hour or so.
1. Regarding the talking points that address the need for a Democratic President. We don’t need an unqualified Democratic President. We need an experience, reasonable person whose records demostrates that they have made sound judgements, that they have principles for which they will fight, that they have accomplishments that benefit our society. We need some one with intellignce and a vision that translates into tangible goals. Obama does not fit any of that criteria. We don’t need him because he bears the “Democrat” label. I consider him to be counterfeit; a cheesy replica of a true Democratic President, like FDR, JFK, and WJC.
2. On the topic of Hillary’s debt, I do hope that we can retire her debt without any substantial interference from the counterfeit candidate. I think his offer to help is really an attempt to minimize the impact of Hillary being able to still raise funds and keep her supporters. If she is still raising millions after suspending, it does not look like he is a unifier?
3. Whoopi Goldberg on the View asked the most heinous question today. She wantss Bill Clinton to apologize to bambi for saying nasty things about him. Pardonez moi? Who played the race card on the Clintons? Who attempted to portray the Clinton Administration as a big mistake while venerating the Regan years? Who’s nasty wife used personal business between Bill and Hillary to make an ugly political point? Whoopi Goldberg has now demonstrated herself to be an ill-informed idiot who is driven soley by race. And Barbara Walters sat there and did not set the record straight. Maybe she’s afraid to say much while she’s pedaling her pitiful memoir. Two more hideous traitors to their gender.
4. Ralph Nader is one of my heroes. He is better suited to being our watchdog, not our president. But the fact that he is calling bambi out on the race baiting reinforces my belief that Nader is an American hero. He is going to do the heavy-lifting to protect us from the unqualified. He and his organization, Public Citizen, do a lot to protect consumers. Bambi better not do too much to denigrate Nader. I am not alone in considering him an icon. Watch it bambi!!

Said tonight that Obama is now adopting all of Clinton’s policies such as Uninversal HealthCare and child benefits, etc.
And he is because I have heard him use the phrase “universal” when talking about healthcare.
He also said that Bill Clinton is a brilliant man did a spendid job as President… and I am sure I can find a position for him in my administration. (Not an exact quote, but basically, that’s what he said). Talk about a pandering hypocrite, because all throughout the primaries he slammed the Clinton years equating them to Bush. That was always followed by a comment that Hillary represented the old status quo of politics as usual. But now he needs them. Puff!!!
I also heard them say on the Bill O’reilly FoxNews show that 135 million people will be going to the polls in the General Election and that the majority of people have not been paying attention to the Primaries.
That means PUMA has its job cut for itself in making sure the folks know the truth about this OBAMINATION.

Whoopi seemed to be supporting Hillary, but started shifting, then was outraged because Hillary do not concede on June 3rd. That’s when I realized she was in the tank the whole time. I forgot about Ted Danson. That’s funny. Anyway, the View is now on my boycott list.

Karl Rove is calling BO arrogant. I feel somewhat ambiguous about his “help” because I know he would be attacking HRC if she were the nominee. Yet, his tactics helped Bush get elected twice. Also, his tactics have been often criticized as being underhanded.
Yet I recall when Pete Rose of baseball fame was such a good gutsy player, and I didn’t like him because I am a Philly fan. Yet, I secretly wished we had his determination on the Phillies. And then, he was on the Phillies team.
OK, this is a poor analogy and can be picked to pieces, especially by me.
My point is that Karl Rove is one politically savvy person, and when Kerry was running I remember wishing the Democrats had someone like him…not underhanded, but with someone with heroic abilities that could fight fairly but fiercely.
You know, I really feel terrible sometimes when people will ask me to e-mail them on a post here, but until I get use to who is for real, I am just leery of sending my e-mail address.
Real hackers (and BO’s campaign internet strategists seems to be full of them) are experts at tracking those back to one’s server side and hacking into emails.
So, please don’t be offended if you ask me that on a post and I don’t respond right away.

I throught about it yesterday, but then it just slipped out of my mind. We should break up into groups in different areas of the country based on where we live or maybe all travel to NY, Boston or Washigton, and HOLD EVENTS to let people know about us and attract more members.
4th of July is a huge event. There are going to be events in cities. Where I live we have annual parade and pancackes.
We could make t-shirts or something with the 4th of July theme, and attend those events, sell the mechandise to raise money. We could dress up like PUMAs or tigers in the: Red, White and Blue.
In some cities like where I live we have free events every week for public in the park. We have concerts, and movies throught out the summer.
Murphy, I also emailed you asking if we could send stories and press releases to the newspapers to let people know about us.

I think July 4th is good but I would not let Friday go by. It’s got all the free press coverage you will need to make a statement. Everyone will have their eyes on Hillary’s every move. It would be great to see what she does when thousands of people would show up. I know she is doing what a good party person would want her to say and do. But nows the time, in a week or so it maybe not worth it.

I can’t keep up with you folks! But I do read the blog when I get a moment at the computer and need an energy blast. I agree that Hillary is very strong and will be just fine. She does not need BO he needs her and regardless of what he says he needs her voters. The liberal wing of the DNC who now controls the party does not respect women or their votes. They intended to take us for granted and keep us in line using fear. If they manage to elect BO they will not do anything for us aside from bring us MOs photo shoot in Vogue, appearances on The View, fashion makeovers and cookie contests. In their minds that is communicating with women. They do not even realize that their behavior has been obnoxious, sexist and hate filled. And regardless of what Hillary does she will be blamed by the Obamaites for whatever they don’t like in the GE. Abusers always blame the person they abuse for causing the abuse and for their own behavior and failures. So Hillary I am sure is doing what works for her. We may not see the wisdom in it just now but I am sure she has a plan.

Having only a few people make a fuss won’t help a bit but with a huge crowd that is what you will need. You may not be able to get into the event but if you get there early enough find out where Hillary will be entering and have everyone around there if security will let you. The cameras will be rolling. What a great scene that could be.

There was an article on an issue (unrelated) with the governor of my state. What is important about it was what he said about the letters received in response to his position on that issue:
“We got over 15,000 letters in protest and no govenment agency has ever received that many letters on a government position”
Here is my point:
While the DNC leaders are publicly minimizing our protests as if they are few in numbers, we all know that it isn’t true. Can you imagine how many letters the DNC and Delegates have received over this – I am certain way over 15,000 correspondences.
So, if we think we are being ignored – that maybe true -as a game-face – but I guarantee the DNC and the Democratic leaders get it Big Time that the fire-storm isn’t likely to be put out by November… and their selection may be smoldering as a has-been by then.
We have been hearing for weeks now, just get over it, has everyone gotten over the year 2000 yet. I don’t think so. Maybe not the results of 2004 either. So let’s show them that we mean business this time, not just whinning, we are united!

I am the one that emailed sheila7, Like I told sheila7 I have a program on my computer that scans all day long so when I got home tonight there was a screen flash that some one had tried to use a virus called Infostealer.Notos.gen. so I did a little back tracking. I had not opened by private email but had looked at it, and there was an email from the nobama camp. I did not open any email until later at work, and that was about 11AM. I can not remember seeing the obama email then. When I got home and saw my screen flash all the quatenteens( i can’t spell) were done between 9-1030 am 12 times. and the Obama email was gone. How weird is this. Now this is not the email I use for puma, however it is the one that the DNP has. when I try to clean the file it says they are located in an email message, so i am going to get off the computer in a little bit and see if i can find the message.

I use AVG 8 which scans incoming emails on my PC, I use gmail for most things and they scan their own. I am always very, very careful with any emails from unknown parties or that have attachments. You can’t be too careful!

If anyone can get contacts for Clinton and Edwards delegates for this weekend’s Iowa state convention, then I made a small letter that could be sent by email. I was able to get some delegate names and emails, but they were personal emails so I can’t post them on the blog.
Here is the letter I wrote:
Dear Delegate:
My name is Gabriel Gottlieb and I am aware that you will be attending the Iowa State Democratic Convention this weekend. This election could not be more important for our country. With the war in Iraq, slow economy, housing crisis, and rising gas prices we need to make the right choice for our nominee. I do not know if you are a pledged delegate for Sen. Clinton, Sen. Edwards, or Sen. Obama, but I hope if you are a delegate for Sen. Clinton that you will honor your commitment to her campaign and remain a delegate for her. She needs to have a strong showing at the convention in order to have strong support for her causes such as universal health care, energy independence, and support for struggling working class families to be included in the party platform and the fall campaign.
If you are a delegate for Sen. Edwards, then I hope that you will support Sen. Clinton at this weekend’s convention. Even though Sen. Obama has been declared the presumptive nominee, we should think about who reflects the will of the Democratic voters and who is most likely to win in November. Sen. Radio XM Potus 08 is one of the only political news that makes a great effort at having balance coverage of this election. I have tuned out CNN and MSNBC.
Anyways, today I heard some important information concerning California that might be useful; apparently, according to the commentator, the Hispanic vote could decide the winner of CA. Sen Clinton won the Hispanic vote in this state, so now as you can imagine *61 is courting this group strongly. The commentator said that if McCain wins the Hispanic vote, he would make it very competitive and could become surprising. According to the polls today they are suggesting that this base of Clinton supporters are now flocking to *61…mmm…I am not sure about this yet. In retrospect, to this comment are there any PUMAs here from California able to do some ground work and figure out how are the Hispanics leaning there for real? It could become a PUMA action to heavily target this population in CA–CA represents 55 votes on the electoral map , hence 20% of the electoral map. Do we have anyone here that is good w/ statistics that could break down the Hispanic vote percentage representation in CA? Anyways, my point is that we need to figure out if it would be feasible and reasonable to ensured *61′s support of the Hispanic vote is not strengthen, since we would be using PUMA resources if we want to get the word out effectively . If so, I suggest coordinating and forming a coalition with the Hispanic pacs out there (Murphy do you have access to the pacs point of contact?) A great outlet to spread PUMA is using “Univision” since it is the main Hispanic television outlet in the USA (Murphy, getting an interview with them could become pivotal to strengthen Hispanics support to the PUMA cause). Also, There is local TV “Univision” presence in most of the states, however, the NATIONAL Headquarters is in Miami.
Also making use of the local papers and radio stations: 3rd generation hispanics are mostly bilingual, but the 1st generation is not necessarily.

It’s not a matter of being spiteful… it is real ANGER that we feel. I have always known that it’s the delegates that vote a candidate into office, but to tell you the truth, here I am in my 60′s and I’ve never paid attention to the Primaries before this year; and I am absolutely floored by the underhanded way the DNC and Howard Dean handled this contest. And now I know that Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid were in on it too. Not so sure about what part Donna Brazille played though so my anger is not toward her.
This man really thinks he can buy his way into the white house and on a hope and a prayer and a promise. Well, Hillary and he combined may have gotten about 36 million votes, but in the General about 136 million voices will be heard… and out of that the black community only represents about 16% of the population. That means that he needs “whitie” now more than ever (if I can word it that way without anyone taking offense.
I worry about his money and about the poor campaign John McCain is running so far… but I still don’t think he is electable. I mean, I can’t imagine THAT many Americans are all that gullible to fall for his smooth snake oil sales man type of rhetoric.

#303 Xdemocrat … I wrote to Nader earlier suggesting, among other things, that he consider joining McCain in weekly town hall meetings. I suggested that it would give him more visibility … something that should appeal to Nader himself.
Meanwhile, it would back Obama into a corner. If he doesn’t agree to weekly town hall meetings too, it paints him a coward. If he does agree to it, it provides more opportunity to expose his weaknesses. It’s a win-win situation for us.

Thanks. Nader worries me a bit, because he could be a spoiler again. I’d hate to see him siphon enough votes away from McCain that he would give the election to Obama … assuming Hilary isn’t our eventual nominee. But if Nader can help knock Obama off his pedestal before Denver, it would be a win for everyone. I suspect that Nader wants to get rid of Obama as much as, if not more so than, he wants to be President.

I might disagree with that. BHO avoided the Black Union Conference and he did not stick up for Lousianna in the Primaries… so I think what Nader is trying to suggest is that BHO is pandering to get the white vote at the expense of black folks hurting in the inner cities. So in a way, I think he has a point. Kind of like what he did by not wanting to be seen with two Muslim women in head scarfs…. BHO has to be careful not to be too black even though he wants the black vote. But at this stage of the game, he needs the white vote more to win in the General. So I think Nader was stressing that point by saying that he was preying on white guilt. Ya know like, I am really a nice guy so vote for me.

They missed it… the Democrats do not deserve to hold the Highest Office. They are hired by the people – who were much smarter than they on who was the people’s choice – not the $$$. She beat him in almost all of the primaries – where the most votes were cast.

Go to New York Times, Thursday, June 26th, front page about Hillary and O getting together. Good information. Not all is as it seems, folks. Hillary is gritting her teeth and making sure she comes out okay. They hired a lawyer to smooth out all the logistics between the two campaigns and negotiate her part in the Convention.
I would just like to point out something. You KNOW that Hillary is watching the news. She’s reading the same newspapers we are. She’s looking at the same polls (Fixed or not) that we are. She’s listening to the same idiots on CNN and MSNBC that we are. You KNOW she had to have seen or heard about the interview with Murphy. She KNOWS that the PUMA’s are out there. So here’s a question for you. Why hasn’t she singled us, the PUMA’s, who seem to be the most well known protest group (Correct me if I’m wrong about that) and told us “Ok. Enough already. Come on it’s time to jump on the bandwagon”? She knows we’re here! She has to support Dumbo (My nickname for BHO. Seriously! Hillary does know what she is doing. As I wrote earlier, she’s essentially infiltrating enemy territory, because it’s the best avenue available to her right now. Meanwhile, she’s trusting us to do what she can’t do. We’re her operatives on the outside.
Hillary won’t tell us how to vote. She’s carefully crafting her message, emphasizing the GOALS we share. She doesn’t want us to lose focus in those areas.
She speaks of supporting the Democratic agenda more than she speaks of supporting Obama. I think it’s code for “Don’t count me out.”
Realize that if Obama self-destructs before Denver and Hillary is made the nominee, she’d have to win over his supporters. She’s paving the way now. She’s not worried about bringing us over to the dark side. She’s focusing on bringing his supporters over to the light side.

I have no doubt that Hillary and everyone else in all the campaigns know about Murphy and PUMA. And I have no doubt that they are watching us carefully to see if we can hold it together for much longer. I’m not planning on going anywhere and I hope that I can kick back some day in the future and tell all my Democratic friends, “I told you so.” I remember reading the book by O’Neil, Politics is Local, and its so true. We all have to start making the changes locally. Every time something comes out in your hometown newspaper or at a political event, that’s where we have to be . That’s why I started to send out the action items here on PUMA blog to the local Party chairs and the state Party chairs. the best thing we can do for Hillary is organize for the “long haul” (four years or more). We won’t change things all at once, but we will change things over time. That’s why this has all happened with the Democratic Party. The pendulum has changed way to far to the left in reaction to the far right of the last 30 years beginning with Reagan. Remember, Clinton had an ultra conservative Congress for the best part of his Presidential years. Now it seems that we will have the three branches of government taken over by the far left. There’s no more health to that than there is to what it has been for the last 16 years. Moderation happens over time and PUMA has to be there to make that happen over time. Are you all ready to still be standing and blogging here in 2012? That’s what it going to take and the O campaign and Deany and his partners don’t think we’ll stay long enough. I can’t help but feel ashamed in part of my answer (But proud in the rest!). I always say the same thing. “I may not know everything that happens in this world. I may not know Hillary’s stand on all of the issues. But I do know a few things. Alot of people seem to have forgotten what it was like. I remember the prosperity of the 90′s. I grew up in the 90′s and I can tell you right now. I was never afraid when I was a child. Not like I am today. When I was growing up, I never had to worry about where a terrorist might strike next. There may have been alot wrong with the world, but the was alot of things right with it to. The 90′s were a peaceful and prosperous time for the United States and I am truly blessed to have lived in them. I owe that peace and prosperity to President Bill Clinton. When he was in the White House, no one in the world was more awe inspiring than the President of the United States. I respected very few people more than I respected the position of the President. Now… the Presidency is a joke. Our President has the IQ of a gnat. When I look at Obama, I see the same thing. An unintelligent, though granted, charismatic puppet. And I can’t help but think to myself ‘That’s not the image that should come to mind first when I think of the President of the United States’. In the 90′s we could hold our heads up high and proudly proclaim ‘We are the greatest country in the world’. That is gone now. But we still have a chance. Bring the Clintons back. Many of my generation, sadly, are already having children. Let’s bring them into a world and an era that they have a future in. Let’s make sure they can say the same thing about their childhood, that I can say about mine. The only candidate I see capable of that is Hillary Rodham Clinton.” I speak these words from the heart and I think it takes many people aback when I do. I’ll admit it. I’m a young, naive voter. I see it as a big turnaround: the media no longer sees us as a bunch of crazed, spiteful, Hillary-hangers-on-who-just-won’t-get-over-it but rather as a purposeful group that has serious concerns and is not falling prey to the official Democratic lie of forced unity. I think this is a big step and one that couldn’t be taken for granted, given the power of the media to distort. Interviews like Murphy’s yesterday helped transform our image – thanks Murphy!

President Clinton saved my life. He allowed me and my family to come here from Russia in 1994. I was 13.5 and he gave me and my family a new life; a life that we never could have dreamt of. This is the major reason why I HAVE BEEN, AND ALWAYS WILL SUPPORT CLINTON FAMILY. I also like Hillary’s stand on issues and the fact that she has done so much for us.

The final was multiple choice so I won’t know for a while what I got on it. I hope that I got full credit for both of my papers. One was piece of cake. For the other I had to do very deep analysis. It was a philosophy class and the topic was: do you agree or disagree that religion is not neccessary for people to be moral.
OUCH! I chose to disagree with the author. It wasn’t a very easy thing to argue. I am not from a religious family, and we only celebrate major holidays, but it’s UNACCEPTABLE for me to even think that God does not exist.
My second paper was a lot easier. I had to summarize and analyze “Chinese Room Argument”. It basically says that a man lives in a room, and he doesn’t speak Chinese at all. He never comes out of the room and the room is filled with books. All day long a woman stands outside of the room. She keeps on writing notes in Chinese and slips them underneath the door. The man picks up the note, finds in the book what the sentence means and writes a response back without understanding what it was. So, the woman has no idea that the man doesn’t speak Chinese.
This argument is brought up by a man who saved English from Germans in WW2. He was a brilliant mathematician who helped encode the secret messages from submarines and English were able to attack Germans.
So, this mathematician counters this argument by saying the following:
-I built a machine, which instantly knows the answers to any questions that you ask. So, it’s like a human being, is it considered to be a human being? He claims that he puts 2 machines into the room and one person, you ask questions, and if you can’t tell who is the machine and who is a human being then the machine probably has a mind.

I agree with you that Hillary has a plan because she wants to run again, but I strongly believe and my uncle always laughs at me for saying this: Hillary is NOT just a politician who says and does whatever she has to in order to get elected. HBO does that. Hillary is honest and she really cares about us.
We are people who decide who we want to help us have better life by working for many of us, and if politicians did only what suits them without thinking what people want then we wouldn’t have politicians.
Government is pretty much like life in school. When students come to school they learn what the teachers teach them, but if many students ask for a specific class, then the school will teach that class. It’s even more true in College because in College we have a chance to ask our teachers to give us specific project. Sometimes, we can vote for when we want to take a test, what the format of the test will be, etc.
Politicians don’t just care about themselves; they care about us. They listen to us and they write laws which will help us, the middle man live better.
On July 1st the new law will be that when you are driving, you can only use your cell phone with “hands free” ear piece. It is a law which will protect us. It was enacted because there were too many accidents on the road. Therefore, politicians exist to help us.

I wanted to share a quick realization this morning. Yesterday I was answering questions on a myspace survey and saw the question who is your hero? At 56 I at first laughed it off and then I looked up and saw my picture of Hillary in the Rain. I thought wow, she is absolutely my hero. I could explode with just how proud I am of her. Sometime in the middle of the night I decided to send a follow up note to the roses letting her know how proud I am of everything she has stood up for and that I know she enjoyed the puma roses.

I am so touched by this group’s level of dedication and thoughtfulness as demonstrated by this flower project and many other projects. And I wanted to add to #378′s beautiful sentiment about Hillary being a hero. I totally agree and I think she has been a hero for many–she represents the best that we could all hope to be. She is intelligent, compassionate, courageous and tenacious. She stands strong for her beliefs even in the face of unbelievable adversity. She will always exemplify, for me, the best of courage and compassion–how to fight for what is right based upon an understanding of human nature, belief in people, and strong pragmatism. The news media has largely missed the real story of this election: How the minority in the party controlled the process and tried to nominate a loser instead of the winner.
I see all of these polls saying Obama is ahead of John McCain. This is interesting, as every losing candidate, in either party, has been ahead at this point in the campaign. McCain has not yet begun to fight Obama.
Hillary is a hero. She stood for the people even when the party and the pundits were against her, making them against us. She even used her own money to stand against them. She is strong and smart and dedicated to the things she believes in. Now we have to be strong and smart and dedicated if we want to reform our party and the government our country. There is much to do, as both the party and the government are very broken.

Change is sometimes scary. That is what the Democratic party is feeling right now. The leadership thought they had a good ‘formula’ to win the White House. What they had was a good formula to split the party and alienate the voter. Like all entities that think they can run on good PR alone, the DNC got it wrong. Now they have to try to market their ‘product’ to a very unhappy electorate, and electorate that elected Hillary.
Either we can go along with this ‘party unity’ crap or we can fight. I choose to fight. And I am not adverse to PUMA and all the groups like us becoming a new party. Either the old party reforms, or a new party may be necessary. Hillary would be a good first candidate for a PUMA party if her old outdated and biased party throws her aside like it seems they are doing.

I ask that all PUMA supporters “push hard” for the following things if they are to change this corrupt system of Government. (Murphy please speak out for all of us on this one)

2nd. I am a true Hillary supporter and do “not” expect that all of you are, I do not buy this “load” that the MSM is trying to push down our necks.

PUMA is going to be a force to contend with on the political scene and cannot be underestimated. While Obama promoted himself as a change agent, he turned out to be no more than the average, run of the mill, cut-throat politician. This upcoming weekend is going to provide a media bombardment touting Hillary’s efforts to raise funds for Obama. The media has already heralded Bill Clinton’s endorsement of Obama as some great achievement. Now is the time to email every Hillary Supporter, Blogger, Friend & Family you know to tell them NOT TO CONTRIBUTE to the Obama campaign.
Hillary is in a bad political position, and Bill Clinton’s endorsement was mediocre at best. At a minimum push every democrat you know too atleast hold off to the convention before the consider Obama support. His contributions dropped by 33% in May and many of the wealthy who have funded 60% of his campaign have already contributed the max to both the “primary” and “general election” cycles.

The more I think about Hillary helping Senator O, to me it makes him appear weaker, he can not even unite the democratic party, the group that he wants to respresent as president, he needs Hillary who he dissed at every turn to assist him.
When you compare the two individuals , JMC is a shining light compared to the flip flopper. My vote for JM is not a protest vote, I never planned to vote for “O” if Hillary was not nominated, wish folks would stop using the words” protest vote” I will vote for JM because I see him as the better candidate to run this nation.

Senator Hillary Clinton said Tuesday she was not thinking about becoming vice president in a Barack Obama administration and warned her supporters against casting a protest vote for the Republicans.
“I am not seeking any other position,” the New York senator told reporters on her first visit to Congress since conceding the hard-fought Democratic nominating race to Obama on June 7.
“You know, it is not something that I think about. This is totally Senator Obama’s decision and that’s the way it should be,” she said, without wholly renouncing any vice presidential ambitions she may harbor.
Clinton and Obama are to hold their first joint campaign rally on Friday, in the aptly named New Hampshire town of Unity, in a bid to heal Democratic wounds opened up by their five-month primary battle.
The former first lady addressed disaffected supporters who, angry at her primary loss, are threatening to vote for Republican John McCain instead of Obama in November.
She said her message was “that anyone who voted for me has very little in common with the Republican Party.”
“If you care about the issues I care about and the future that I outlined during my campaign, then you really have to stay with us in the Democratic Party and vote for Senator Obama to be our next president,” she said.
Clinton said it was appropriate that Friday’s event was taking place in Unity, a small town in western New Hampshire where she and Obama got exactly 107 votes each in the state’s January primary.
“So, this is going to be a symbolic event that I hope will rally the Democratic Party behind our nominee,” she said.
