Famous last words anyone? Latest ABC poll shows “No Clinton Bounce for Obama.” It appears nearly 38% of Democrats who voted for Hillary Clinton won’t vote for Obama. That’s enough for John McCain to win, folks. Now, I know the Puma movement is making a difference out there in the real world. I know the media and the campaigns and the DNC are watching us. But we’re not five or six million strong. (at least not yet) Most of those 38% haven’t even heard of Puma PAC or the Protest yet. So, blamers and haters from all sides can quiet down. It’s not our fault Obama can’t win in November. More voters voted against him in his own party during the primary campaign for goodness’ sake. This is his fault. And the leadership’s. And the media’s for cranking up the sexist noise-machine and feeding the pigs every night on national TV and every morning while we were trying to eat our goddamn Corn Flakes.
If Clinton had lost the primaries fair and square, many of us here would have accepted it, moved on, and supported Obama. If the media had displayed restraint and dignity in its coverage of the fine Democrats who competed, many more of us would never have become outraged in the first place. And if the DNC had not turned Florida and Michigan voters into half-persons, and had not flat-out STOLEN four delegates from Clinton to give to the Precious, another million or so of us would have accepted the situation and worked for the Democratic nominee.
And Barack Obama would have been elected president.
That is, in that alternative, decent, and fair universe which we Pumas now know does not exist in this Party at this time.
Instead of standing up to the Noise Machine and telling them to KNOCK IT OFF with the belittling, demeaning, and sexist attacks on a distinguished American candidate, Barack Obama and Howard Dean squandered a golden opportunity for leadership. Instead of leadership, they chose the easy way out. They hoped that by letting the onslaught continue unabated Hillary would be defeated and they would get their outcome. Well, like all shortcuts, it was a good short-term strategy but a very poor long-term one. Hillary’s out, Barack is the selected, and we’re all supposed to fall in line.
Well hold on one second there, Partner. You forgot that voters don’t like to be insulted. They don’t like to see bosses who don’t play by the terms of fair play and good faith. They don’t like to be told what to do, how to think, or what’s wrong with them for not seeing the “truth.”
And they REALLY, REALLY, REALLY don’t like it when votes don’t count. Or when the prize goes to the petted favorite rather than the actual winner.
So, tell your friends and neighbors you’re staying home in solidarity with the voters in Michigan and Florida whose votes didn’t count. Tell them you’re voting for McCain in order to cancel out their vote for Obama in solidarity with the voters in Michigan and Florida whose votes didn’t count. Tell them you’re voting for Dumbo the Elephant in honor of the circus the DNC made of the primary campaign and the nominating process.
But be sure to tell them, don’t blame us! Blame the DNC. Blame Barack Obama. Tell them, it’s the disenfranchisement, Stupid!

I worked in a bank years ago and we always wrote void across canceled chks. Seems to me we tore off part of the signature area too.
#15 PA Guy, I second the reminder that we need to remain focused on thinking up actions and organizing ourselves to carry them out. We are not disgruntled sore losers, but principled people, most of us Democrats or former Democrats.
Of course, I do think that constructive venting is good for the soul, helps us to inform each other about what’s going on out there, and moves us toward thinking up those actions that will enable us to get noticed, be talked about, and continue to grow.
But the only venting in public that is good is that which helps us get noticed and talk about (in both positive and negative ways… I say, “Let them attack us, so long as we remain what we are and do not become what they will try to define us as being”).
I do like the idea of the torn checks, but our checks have a lot of personal information–like bank routing numbers, etc., across the bottom edge….so maybe some black marks over that pertinent info??
Also, I do wonder how many of us PUMAs are really out there, even collectively from the associated blogsites. I know a lot of us read daily, but maybe don’t comment, and I see the same activists’ names over and over–which is good, but just how many of us are sharpening our claws to do damage to the DNC?

I think the idea of sending half checks is great, but I’m wondering why we don’t make up fake checks, draw them up ourselves, like fake play money? To me, that’s a proper response the DNC – phoney checks for a phoney cause.

The bank’s routing number is nothing private, and the second number (sometimes the 3rd number, depending on the check) is the check number. The only number that really is private info that you might want to black out is your account number. In my case, it will be divided when I halve (<-is that a word?) my check, so no problem…

I took a black felt marker and blacked out small numbers under the check number, I also blacked out the check number at bottom by signature. I signed stick it where the sun don’t shine. they cannot get acct number or routing number that way.

I was just tearing my check when I thought of a way to solve the privacy issue that we were writing about earlier. Why not tear 2 checks, make sure the numer that is your account number is divided when you tear, and only send the part you want to send? In the end, both the Obama campaign and the DNC will have the same half from 2 checks. You’ll destroy 2 checks rather than 1, but I think that’s a small price if you’re worried about privacy.

The ideas – 1/2 checks & get well cards to the nobama campaign/DNC – are very good. I sent one (1/2) to the DNC about two weeks ago. Now, I’m going to send one to the nobama campaign.
Many of you may not know it, but this blog site is very well read daily by various groups of people. I have several friends who are nobama supporters (better known as trolls) and they email me with responses to the comments all the time…being that their responses can’t get on here. I laugh every time that happens because it means “they” are paying attention. Even, if “they” won’t admit it.
I read comments last night that N.O.W. is actively campaigning against misogynic media. While that’s a step in the right direction, I’ve always thought the sudden misogynic media backlash was pandering to Clinton supporters. Now, I think it’s also an attempt to limited bad press against michelle nobama.
Wow, just remembered that I’m at work…after I do a few things to earn my paycheck, I will get started on today’s action items.

I really think we need to continue to write to the newspapers. There are many small town papers that I’m sure would love to print some of our letters. Many larger papers have blogs, so blog away on those. As we all know there are many supporters that are not aware of puma.
I’ll be stopping off at the post office on my way to work this morning to mail both of the letters and 1/2 checks to Obama and Dean.
I added 2 items to each letter:
1) After the sentence “Thank you for all you have done to the Democratic Party”, I added May it Rest In Peace.
2) I copied the large Just Say NO DEAL graphic from Sugar N Spice’s blogsite and pasted it to the bottom of the letter.
Folks, PUMAPAC alone will hit the 1/2 million mark in a couple days……..IF YOU GET THE WORD OUT!

I beleive Hillary will be meeting with her fundraisers to convince them to support Obama. Is there a way of getting those names. Maybe writing a polite letter to each of them telling them why we will not support Obama no matter what Hillary does or says may be worthwhile. The DNC is putting alot of pressure on Hillary to get her people to support Obama, but I feel it is Obama’s job to convince us! (he will never convince me, but why should Hillary be told to do it?)
I do not know Patti Solis, but I think while she was with HILLARY, her campaing was not well run,

On the news now: 10 Democratic Female Senators are going to try to woo Democratic Female voters who have said they will vote for McCain instead of Obama. They are going to start running their 10 point reasons ad and they are going to be at the convention to get us to change our minds.
They are going to waste their time with me, McCain it will be! They should stay in Washington and do the jobs they are being paid to do, not going around the country for Obama.

This is how I see it …if you are interested.
If we had drilled 20yrs ago and built more nuclear plans we would be more independent now. Do you know that most submarines run on nuclear and I have not heard of a single accident.. have you?

3. Ask them why if Obama’s surrogates use Roe v Wade scare tactics to bludgeon us into submission, why reproductive rights is not on their checklist.
4. Tell them that for the first time, I am truly ashamed of my party.
5. Tell them I will never vote for Obama, donate to or volunteer for the DNC, or support these women senators.

How long did it take Islam and their oil money to find a candidate for President of the United States? As long as it took them to place a Senator from Illinois and one from Minnesota? The same amount of time to create a large Muslim enclave in Detroit? The time it took them to build over 2,000 mosques in America? The same amount of time required to place radical wahabbist clerics in our military and prisons as ‘chaplains’?
Find a candidate who can get away with lying about their father being a ‘freedom fighter’ when he was actually part of the most corrupt and violent government in Kenya’s history. Find a candidate with close ties to The Nation of Islam and the violent Muslim overthrow in Africa, a candidate who is educated among white infidel Americans but hides his bitterness and anger behind a superficial toothy smile. Find a candidate who changes his American name of Barry to the Muslim name of Barak Hussein Obama, and dares anyone to question his true ties under the banner of ‘racism’.
Nurture this candidate in an atmosphere of anti-white American teaching and surround him with Islamic teachers. Provide him with a bitter, racist, anti-white, anti-American wife, and supply him with Muslim middle east connections and Islamic monies. Allow him to be clever enough to get away with his anti-white rhetoric and proclaim he will give $834 billion taxpayer dollars to the Muslim controlled United Nations for use in Africa.

Where is the bloodhound American ‘free press’ who doggedly overturned every stone in the Watergate case? Where are our nation’s reporters that have placed every Presidential candidate under the microscope of detailed scrutiny; the same press who pursue Bush’s ‘Skull and Bones’ club or ran other candidates off with persistent detective and research work? Why haven’t ‘newsmen’ pursued the 65 blatant lies told by this candidate during the Presidential primaries? Where are the stories about this candidate’s cousin and the Muslim butchery in Africa? Since when did our national press corps become weak, timid, and silent? Why haven’t they regaled us with the long list of socialists and communists who have surrounded this ‘out of nowhere’ Democrat candidate or that his ‘church’ re-printed the Hamas Manifesto in their bulletin, and that his ‘close pastor friend and mentor’ met with Middle East terrorist Moammar Gaddafi, (Guide of the First of September Great Revolution of the Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya)? Why isn’t the American press telling us this candidate is supported by every Muslim organization in the world?
As an ultimate slap in the face, be blatant in the fact your candidate has ZERO interest in traditional American values and has the most liberal voting record in U.S. Senate history. Why has the American main stream media clammed-up on any negative reporting on Barak Hussein Obama? Why will they print Hillary Rodham Clinton’s name but never write his middle name? Is it not his name? Why, suddenly, is ANY information about this candidate not coming from main stream media, but from the blogosphere by citizens seeking facts and the truth? Why isn’t our media connecting the dots with Islam? Why do they focus on ‘those bad American soldiers’ while Islam slaughters non Muslims daily in 44 countries around the globe? Why does our media refer to Darfur as ‘ethnic cleansing’ instead of what it really is; Muslims killing non Muslims! There is enough strange, anti-American activity surrounding Barak Hussein Obama to peek the curiosity of any reporter. WHERE IS OUR INVESTIGATIVE MEDIA!?

Any criticism of Islam or their intentions, even though Islamic leaders state their intentions daily around the globe, brings-forth a volley of ‘racist’ from the left-wing Democrat crowd.
Lies and deception behind a master plan – the ingredients for ‘The Manchurian Candidate’ or the placement of an anti-American President in our nation’s White House? Is it mere coincidence that an anti-capitalist run for President at the same time Islamic sharia finance and law is trying to make advancing strides into the United States? Is it mere coincidence this same candidate wants to dis-arm our nuclear capability at a time when terrorist Muslim nations are expanding their nuclear weapons capability? Is it mere coincidence this candidate wants to reduce our military at a time of global jihad from Muslim nations?

I, for one, would not have voted for Obama under any circumstances, even if the primary had been fair. The unfairness during the primary only spurred me into donating and volunteering for Hillary, which I have never done for any other political candidate. However, I have thought since January that, if Hillary were not the Democratic nominee, I would support McCain. We are in perilous times, and I would not trust this country to a complete unknown with relatively little experience. I’ve heard from too many sales guys in my time to be fooled by this particular sales guy.
Where were these Senators during the primary when Hillary was being blasted by the press/media and where were they when the decision about MI/FL came down? Women’s rights? Women’s issues? Equality? I just think Obama is having a real hard time getting Hillary’s people over to his side so the DNP is forcing many of these people over with dirty tactics.

To Maryland Puma, great website but everyone needs to remember that the donation amounts have not been updated since the 3/31 FEC filings. I will be interested what is in the Obama filings for the end of this quarter considering that the need to increase pressure on Superdelegates amid his losses. I’m betting that the $700,000+ he donated prior to March 31st to Supers will pale in comparison to the amounts from April and Nov.

Hi Everyone!!
I just joined Pumapac.org today, I’m very upset, angry, and saddend that the DNC, gender-biased media, and Obama campaign treated Hillary very unfairly doing the primaries, and because of this, I left the Democratic Party and became an Independent.
The DNC has now lost their core values and principles, they no longer speak or represent for me. As an African American, I always thought that the Democratic Party aligned closer to concerns and principles, but during and after the primaries, I have become very discouraged due to the DNC’s and gender-biased media’s presistence of trying to push an inexprienced candidate Obama down our throats, this man is not to be trusted and he’s also too green to due the job.
I know a lot of my race of people voted for and vote Obama in the general election mainly because he’s African American, I’m not following alone just to get along, I voted for Hillary in the primaries, because I believe she was and still is the best candidate to go up against McCain and beat him on election day, it was not about race or gender for, my vote for Hillary was based on her years of public service to this country and that she is the most quailfied at this time to do the job of the Presidency.
I will participate in the check mailing campaign, to show support for Hillary and to send a message to the DNC and the gender-biased media that We Hillary Supporters are not falling in line as they directed us to do, including no more financal donations to the DNC or to help Obama win the Presidency, let Obama and the DNC finance shindig in Denver through his loyal supporter donations, because the Hillary Supporters like myself will never support Obama or the DNC for putting up this charlatan to be our Commander and Chief in the first place, now let them raise their own finances to fund the Obama convention, why would we fund something or someone we don’t trust or believe in?
I will be voting for McCain or Idependent Candidate to try and help block Obama’s Presidency on general election, I just hope other Hillary supporters will not buckle and support Obama or the DNC in any capacity, I also hope more Hillary Supporters find out about this website so that our numbers can increase, because thers’s strength and power in massive numbers our voices will be heard, therefore the media cannot help to take notice of how we can affect Obama’s chances of being President on election day.

The DNC and Denver appear to have been expecting a riot at the convention from the beginning. Last May the ACLU filed a lawsuit against them for information on the security of the DNC convention and the weapons that were purchased for the convention. You can read about it here:

Ok scratch the almost all bounced, I swear I’m an idiot today, I meant about 1/8 of my e-mails bounced. Most of the bounced e-mails were from the SD’s supporting Obama. Indeed, I was willing to give Obama a chance, but only when it was his time to lead. For this election year, though, it was Hillary’s time. Obama, at 46, still had the horizon to shoot for.
My only objection when he announced for president was his lack of experience and name recognition. I didn’t know what the hell he stood for or where he was coming from. His two years in the Senate was the totalitary sum of his political experience. I, at least, needed a background check. I then would have voted for him if he were seen to be the better, more qualified candidate.
Well, thanks to that strange feeling the media felt going up their legs at the mere mention of his name and their love for him enhanced by his flowery words I never got that background check and, thus, to get to know the real Obama(it took other means like (argh) Rush and Sean).
By showing its contempt for fair and objective reporting the mainstream media, no no, the tabloid media, let our country down big time.
In the beginning Obama was protected by the media and Hillary scorned as her favor to win the nomination tanked and his chances soared. Then the DNC sealed the deal that Obama never could do himself by “selecting” him their nominee.
This has not been a fair contest at all. Not even close. That’s why I’m so determined to seek the downfall of Obama. Party Unity My Ass! Like with FDR and John Quincy Adams I vote for principle not any man, woman or party.

Well these 10 Senators should of gone out during the primary and talked about sexism. Absolutely no one from the party stood up for Hillary as she was being bashed by the media/press. They throw Roe vs Wade at us and expect us to fall in line. If they can throw their support to someone who has no experience, no knowledge, and could care less about the average person instead of standing up for Hillary then those Senators have lost my respect and one more reason not to vote for Obama.

Hello, my friends. Although I posted this last night, I wanted to post it again to encourage anyone who’s interested to follow suit. Obama is his own worst enemy. If we could get him to debate John McCain, many people would see that he just doesn’t measure up. But he’s ducking debates because he knows he’s vulnerable.
We’ve seen from the Reverend Wright story and Obama’s eventual departure from Trinity Church that he needs to be backed into a corner before he’ll do the right thing. So I want to put pressure on him regarding the weekly debates that John McCain has called for.
Below is the message I sent to Obama through his web site last night. (I did another one this morning, which I’ll put in a separate post.) I also sent copies to Howard Dean, Al Gore, and John McCain.

I’m a Hillary supporter who currently intends to vote for John McCain. Among the reasons I will vote for John McCain is your refusal to do weekly debates with him.
I want to hear both of you talk about the issues together. Throwing barbs at each other long distance is counterproductive.
You’re repeatedly stressed the importance of having substantive discussions on the issues. Yet you refuse to do so. That tells me a lot about what kind of President you would be.

The appearance gave Mrs. Obama, who is not running for office on her own, the chance to build her image and acquaint the public with her background and personality. It came after a guest-hosting gig by John McCain’s wife, Cindy, in April.
Obama has taken flak for saying in February that she was proud of her country for the first time, but on Wednesday she said her pride in her country was not a new thing.

A new poll shows Americans see Cindy McCain in a more positive light than Michelle Obama.
(CNN)—In a comparison between the wives of the presumptive Republican and Democratic nominees, Americans know more about Michelle Obama than Cindy McCain, but not necessarily in a positive way according to a new poll.

In the latest Pew research poll conducted June 13 through 16, 78 percent have heard a least a little bit about the wife of Barack Obama, but up to 26 percent of those said the coverage of Michelle Obama has been mostly negative. In contrast, 54 percent of those surveyed claim to know a little bit about Cindy McCain and of those polled 31 percent say the coverage they have seen has been mostly positive, while only 7 percent felt she has been represented negatively.
The results, tallied from approximately 1,000 adults over the age of 18 with a sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 points show the overall image of the two is positive among their respective parties. 54 percent of Republicans surveyed hold a favorable view of John McCain’s wife, while 65 percent of Democrats have a positive view of Barack Obama’s wife.

BUT – the problem still remains that ppl who do not have a computer to read post, join us and post we are not getting to….
We need a flyer that list the “facts” about the Chosen One and his campaign tactics/statements , The DNC and their actions/responses etc.., the media, the Super D’s statements

Hey everyone! I sent out an email to my local friends requesting “Help” for the PUMApac Flyer distribution…
We are meeting at Starbucks for coffee and a game plan. My email said:
“I need my friends to join me for one hour on Saturday to help change the course of this Selection Process by the DNC. Will you help me?”
I went to my local entertainment section on the web and typed in ZIP code to get a listing of all stores etc., in the immediate area to identify hand-out locations to assign to volunteers. WOW! Gave me some new ideas:
Chili’s resturants, Cafeterias, Walmart Parking Lots, GNC’s lots of “senior” places.
I think we should also put the DNC address on the back and ask recipients of the Flyers to send a protest letter. (So, they can feel a part of this and that their voices matter, too!)
I am also making PUMApac.org stickers to put on our shirts.
I’ve gotten 9 “Count me in!” responses out of 34 in just 2 hours!
P.S. I only needed 10 and maybe 5 alternates to hand out all of my 1000 flyers!

I live in San Francisco, and Obama signs and bumper stickers are everywhere. I feel like I’m treading and floating in a sea of kool-aid. It’s good to come here where I can feel that I’m not drowning.
I’m a NP and I work with a lot of young RNs in their 20s. Some of them wore Obama t-shirts instead of scrub tops to work…until a patient’s family member complained, as after all we are technically state employees. Recently, I was talking a RN about misogyny during the primary. I listed some of the egregious examples of bias and sexism from both the Obama campaign and the media. She said that I was making stuff up! Mind you, this person is a low-information voter more interested in slogans and being part of a youth movement. For example, I mentioned “bitter…cling to their religion and their guns”, and she didn’t even know that Obama had said this about small town voters.
Can anyone of you post a link with references to all the sexist bullshit that Hillary has had to contend with for the past year? I wish to print it out and show it to my coworker. She’s misguided and I feel like I need to un-brainwash her.

New here but promise cross my heart I’m no Obot troll. Certified 100% koolaid free, poured my heart and soul into Hillary’s campaign, spitting mad about how this whole thing went down.
It’s kinda like living my grade school history textbook, some weird mishmash of Tammany Hall meets Chicago meets 68 convention. Scary.
A minor thing someone might want to work on– Out of curiosity I checked to see if there was a PUMA entry on WikiP and there is, but… it’s basically just a blurb from the about page, and has been flagged for “neutrality” issues (yeah, really). Someone might want to tackle that discussion lest it get edited negatively biased. The one commentor (who evidently did edit somewhat) is stated POV-against.
Along similar lines, there is the Puma PAC entry, but it is not shown on the Puma (disambiguation) list. Might be good to add, since some might look there to figure out what the heck this PUMA thing is.
The more PR the better, and good to make sure it stays positive or at least neutral!
I was so disheartened when Hillary gave her concession. It’s only the rise of opposition like this that keeps me going. Ironically THAT is what gives me real HOPE ™

Making up the checks are a much better idea because I ripped off the numbers at the bottom and hope everyone else did because these are the numbers they use when doing a check by phone. I will help get the word out on every blog on post on about this website, I think it’s very important that we protest the DNC in very large masses of strong Hillary Supporters in order for the gender-biased media and the Obama campaign to really take us serious.
If Hillary had of lost this campaign fair and square without gender-biased media influence, race-baitng, and dirty Chicago type politics, I would have accepted it and moved on, but since the DNC stayed silent while Hillary was being unfairly grilled and ridiculed while Obama got a free ride and pass at Hillary’s expense during the whole debacle, I can’t help unite this courrpt party around him, So I decided that it’s time for me to move on and become an Independent, I refuse to be a tin solider and fall in line to help unify such a corrupt and gender-biased party like the Democratic Party.
This to me is now bigger than Hillary even though she still plays a major in our reason for protest throughout the rest of this campaign season, the DNC has lost it’s way, core values, and principles, no one person is bigger than the established group, So this protest to me is more than about Hillary not winning the nomination to this point, but how a whole party leadership has allowed someone or something to lose sight of the whole party’s foundation for a man who just came out of nowhere preaching false hope and change, how gullible and weak-minded the DNC leadership, the Genderr-biased media, and Obama’s supporters are endorsing a candidate who had questionable relationships, no experience, and can talk a good deceptive game that has mesmerized political leaders and media pundits you and I thought would have never fell for Obama;s decite.

Did anyone see the new war related ad the Dems are going to use, last night on CNN. The commentators said “this will help get Hillary’s women supporters back to the party” or some such comment. It immediately made me mad. It shows a young mother sitting with her 1 year old son on her lap saying “Mr McCain you say you want us to be in Iraq for 100 years? well I hope you aren’t planning on my son fighting your war, because you can’t have him”. So here is why this made me so mad. Once again the Dems are addressing women with scare tactics as they do with the abortion issue. And McCain has said repeatedly his comment was taken out of context and that he was referring to the fact that we have had troops in Europe and Korea for 60 years. What a bunch of hypocrites! And why is fear the only way they can think of dealing with women?
Also have they gotten the permit for the million woman march during the Dem convention in August? If they don’t get it and the march goes off anyway can you picture the authorities trying to herd and arrest a bunch of motherly looking women who are protesting(of course I realize you all are not mother looking women but I am as are most of my Hillary friends)? One thing that’s been almost ignored during this campaign is crime. While the candidates try to show themselves as strong on national defense, they forget the “terrorism” that exists right here at home.
We have some cities in America where people live in fear every day that their children might not come home from school or that their children will be killed just playing outside. People in these cities aren’t afraid of al Queda. They’re too busy fearing their neighbors.
When Americans can’t feel safe on the streets here, not because of al Queda but because of the criminal element, we have big problems. I wish that all of the candidates would give these problems the attention they deserve.

There were so many concerns and supposedly someone in Congree and the DNC were going to get to the bottom of the issue. Well, the best thing I’ve seen surrounding this whole issue was the movie on HBO called “Recount”. The do-nothing Democratic leaders did just that, “do nothing”. Maybe, I should retract that statement. The DNC has already started to do the same thing as the Republicans did in 2000. The DNC read the R playbook and have already start by disenfranchising the Florida and Michigan voters in their own party.

For those of you who attended your state democratic conventions as delegates for Hillary, I am curious what your experience was at your convention. Did your party leaders acknowledge Hillary’s immense contribution, at all? What did your state party leaders do towards ‘unity?’ Overall, would you say you as a Clinton delegate were treated with respect, or were you mocked and seen as one of the pathetic losers?
I was appalled at how only 3 state leaders (out of a sea of others) even mentioned Hillary’s name the entire weekend of our recent state convention. Our Hill delegation was insensed — and we still are. The party leaders acted as if she had never even existed.
Party Unity???? Good luck with that.
If your state convention experience was different, consider yourself fortunate. If it was like mine, then I think there is some damn serious work to be done by party leaders before Denver.

I know there was a piece on MSMBC and FOX last night about MO and learning here place in the campaign. It was okay. Nothing shocking or different than what any other spouse has to go through when the other is in the public light.

I think what actually happened was that stuff was being misread, and then the scolding began. I wish I had kept out of it. I won’t be going there again.

Our strongest weapons are our vote and our finances. Both of which will support Hillary and/or McCain.
Everything tells me that we need to stay firm with our convictions.
For anyone concerned about what Hillary is doing. I heard, for one, that she is taking off from the Senate for a month….good for her. And I think that if she REALLY wanted to be out supporting NoName, with her boundless energy, she would have taken a couple days break and then we would have seen her smiling face standing arm in arm with you know who. But, you know what, that is NOT happening. The short clip I saw on CNN or Fox today stated that there will be a meeting of some of her supporters next week and they were asked to bring their checkbooks. Sounds like a pretty obligatory thing she is having to do as a DP member.
Plus as far I as I know, she hasn’t come out and made a public statement to persuade her supporters to get over it and move along now, has she? She and Bill know what’s going on.
I am so happy to see that this site and others are speaking up against this primary and election…and it is a widespread and growing sentiment. Keep up the good work everyone. It’s really amazing to think what’s been accomplished in two weeks. We ARE Hillary’s voice now.
Firechief, the Colorado State Convention was one of the most pathetic event I have attended. Terry M. actually was there and while he was talking about Hillary, the crowd boo’ed him. And of course, BO supporters who sat behind me yelled “get off the stage already.” All the while the state leaders were chanting ‘yes we can’ and ‘we must unite’. Honestly, I sat next to a group of Hillary delegates and we saw the writing on the wall. One lady all decked out with her Democrat gear turned to me and said “I am not going to vote Obama.” It took me by surprised. I asked her why and she told me she was called a c— by BO’s supporters at her caucus so she and her family members would never vote for him.
His supporters have no class and I can’t believe that the members of this party allowed it to go on for this long.

Fox News has been accumulating info on voter fraud for a few months now. Awhile back I heard one of the commentators say that they had been getting hundreds of examples of voter fraud and encouraged more people to send in their experiences. Maybe you can get some help from them? voterfraud@foxnews.com was the website they wanted people to send their info.

Another thing that was just outrageous about our state convention was it took like 5 hours for alternates to be seated. The coordinator (she’s a SD who is for BO in Colorado) had an alternate yell at her for not doing her job in informing us of what was happening. They sent us out of the floor, all 300 of us (in Denver county) standing outside of the men’s bathroom with no mic to hear what the coordinator was trying to say while music and cheering were high pitch inside the floor. Then one by one, they called our name and everyone had to play the game of telephone to those standing on the outside. So, Larry Benson became Barry Johnson by the time it reached the outer circle of people. Totally a farce. And we laugh at 3rd world countries for stuffing ballot boxes?
Murphy, we need to have a basic letter that we can send to all of the women senators that were spewing their “unity” speech. Maybe someone can put together a good letter and let that be our action to do for tomorrow.
P.S. I live in Western WV and we travel to southern OH quite a bit to go to WalMart. They have recently installed one of those digital billboards. That would be a great location to place something on. Hillary is loved so much in my communities.
Also, if you need help with a West VIrginia page, I can help as much as I can. I feel that we just need to get the word out about this movement. I was trying to put together a letter to send to all of the major newspapers with our website address so that we can get new members from WV. We don’t seem to be well represented here as of yet!

They are as upset as we are. Many of them are seniors and this election has really upset them. Seniors in general were very upset by BOs campaign bullying tactics and how they were shut out of the caucus process. We are protesting for them also. Noone pushes our parents and grandparents around!
Re: Republican party being attacked by DNC. I believe Rove and Reps are waiting until after August to launch their full force attack of BO. Why waste time and money on him now? Hillary put out her 3 a.m. call ad right before election day so BO couldn’t respond. Reps have a lot up their sleeves.

FOX news just covered Ed Reilly’s challenge to John Kerry in MA! Yeaaaaaah!!!!
They said Kerry is vulnerable 50% want someone new. I think they said 34% like Reilly. He has 23 delegates already to challenge Kerry when Kerry comes up for reelection.
People in MA voted for Hillary, but T. Kennedy and Kerry & another guy voted Obama. (didn’t practice what they preached, did they…) Just Kerry’s bad luck – he’s the only one coming up for reelection soon.
So FOX said Reilly’s problem was he didn’t have face recognitiom, while giving a nice, long segment of the Brit Hume show to him. (made my little heart smile)
He looked rather familiar to me after a nice healthy segment of exposure on FOX at dinnertime!
And it gets even better…. Reilly looks like a very viable candidate. He used to a firefighter, put himself through school, worked for a paycheck from week-to-week (unlike Kerry who’s born to privilege, wife’s a millionnaire, etc.) He’s a regular guy. Relatively attractive and seems very likeable.
I think I’m going to donate to his campaign.

I have known about Larry Sinclare for quite a few months now, the problem with him is even though he seems to be quite credible, Obama people will throw absolute lunatics into the mix such as on his website posting of his information(blog comments) to discredit him. This tends to be quite a workable strategy for criminals. Remember no one believed the intelligence that tall buildings would be attacked by planes either, so it was never investigated and therefore we were hit with 9-11. Criminals tend to stick with a strategy that works for them.
Great opening blog-post, Murphy! I have some comments on one part of it:
Even if the media and the DNC had treated both Hillary and BO fairly, I would still be dissatisfied and concerned if BO was the nominee.
I would still want to protest and be upset about the fact that BO’s strategy and win was largely based on winning caucuses, which leave out and disenfranchise many voters… especially with Hillary winning most of the primaries of the crucial “big” blue states. I would still protest, and be upset about, the DNC’s unfair delegate distribution system.
I would still disdain and cry out about the prevalent mentality that predisposes people to be swept up by “rock-idol”-type charisma and sugary pie-in-the-sky promises instead of evaluating the candidates in terms of substance, experience, policy-record, personal background (such as history of associations and involvements) and their know-how and competency. I think Hillary is far superior to BO in all these counts.
I just don’t think BO is fit to lead our nation and the free world. His many “negatives,” lack of experience and the ideologies and matrix of associations and corruption that he comes out of should worry any thoughtful voter.

Huckabee said a curious thing today: He hopes that the Republicans do not try to smear BO, that Bo has made a “substantive” impact on the voting process or something to that effect. Maybe the Far Right is up to no good here, as it has been suggested. What if BO, the Christian candidate, not the Muslim one, were to ask Huckabee, the ultra conservative Christian, to be his vice president. Then they could have their Theocracy!
Huckabee was asked about being McCain’s vp and he said he could be of help in the South, but if McCain needs someone for NY and NJ, he wouldn’t be any help. In addition he remarked that no one wants to be vp, but would be, if asked.

mayor0102, yes I was a Clinton delegate to the Spokane convention last weekend. (re: your comment #526) I assume that’s what you meant by “are you one?” I recognize you from the old hillary clinton blog; I was “Susan in WA State” there.
So, yes, I was there at the Spokane convention, and if your friend webfoot didn’t notice anything completely messed up with how dismissive the state party leaders were at that convention, then I don’t know what convention webfoot went to, because it could not have possibly been Spokane. The whole event was a missed opportunity on the part of party leaders. I would have expected they’d celebrate, recognize, and express gratitude for Hillary Clinton and her 18 million supporters for helping strengthen the party, but no. The only ones who mentioned Hillary during the full delegate meeting on Saturday were U.S. Senator Patty Murray (WA State) and another female U.S. Senator from Minnesota (I forget her name but she was great.) That was IT.
Missed opportunity. I fault the party leaders in this state.
As for treatment by other delegates: the Obama delegates varied. Most were blind kool aid drinkers. A very few were sympathetic. Even fewer were reaching out for some constructive dialogue. And yes, there were many who were behaving very badly toward Hillary delegates.
I hope that this story will make all of us feel better. We are destroying HBO. He IS going down !!! YES!!!

Don’t worry too much about rumors regarding the Denver police and their preparation for the convention. Yes, they’re preparing for rioters. However, based on what I’ve seen and done in my own county, I’m inclined to believe that it’s only a subset of what they’re planning.
The convention is a high-profile event, making it a potential target for terrorists. Everyone in the emergency response arena is looking at all possible scenarios and developing plans to deal with whatever comes their way.
I’m a volunteer firefighter with many friends in law enforcement. Please know that the police (and other emergency responders) who will be at the convention are just like you and me. They’re people with families. They care passionately about the future of our country. They have varying political preferences, based on whom they believe will do the best job.
But most of all, every one of those emergency responders wants to go home safely to their families at the end of the day. Whatever preparation they are making to deal with rioters and other problems is all about going home safely to their loved ones and making sure that other convention attendees can do the same.
If you go to the convention, even to protest, please take a moment to thank the police and other emergency responders who are there to keep you safe. A thank-you goes a long way with people who are putting their lives on the line to protect yours.

And since you have mentioned that aspect I remember making that post. If I recall correctly, I posted that the BHO supporters were less antagonistic that all all the other levels…which they took to be a good since that some of the rock star appeal was wearing off. It doesn’t surprise me that I haven’t heard about any of the PUMA endeavors on the news; I’ve heard about PUMA but not how they are making their point. Why would the DNC, Howard Dean, superdelegates, Obama, etc. mention that they are receiving mail, emails, and faxes in record numbers from PUMA?
Anyway, I think all these projects are terrific and we are making our point, even without the on air confirmations of the DNC and/or Obama campaigns.
You know what we could do…send a donation to the McCain campaign…any amount. We can write on our checks “PUMA Donation.” Before sending that check we can make photocopies of it and send that copy to the DNC and Obama campaigns, even the superdelegates/delegates, etc. etc. Even if we make a credit card donation, we can make copies of the receipt and send it, if members don’t want their private information out there. My point is…McCain’s campaign sure as hell is going to let MSM know that they have been receiving donations from the PUMAS — something like PUMAS put their money where the growl is — we support McCain over Obama.

I got an e-mail today from BO asking me to donate to the DNC. What a joke.
I hit the unsubscribe button. I got a message asking for my e-mail address and why I wanted to unsubscribe
from the Democratic website.
I told them why. I wanted no part of a Party that has a behind closed door meeting to persuade the super delegates to vote for their “selected” candidate.
This on the very night of the last two primaries.
I hope we are making the DNC very nervous. There is nothing they could do to make me vote for BO. When my mind is made up, it can not be changed..
The first time I saw him at a debate, I thought what an arrogant man he was. My first impressions are usually right..
I keep writing Lou Dobbs trying to get PUMA mentioned on his show.
We can not doubt Hillary. She is doing what she has to do. If she doesn’t say she is for Obama, they will ruin her politically.
Did you hear that BO’s “handlers” were working on Michelle’s look? They were trying to make her seem softer. Good luck with that..

I hope you dont think I was dissin’ Lanny Davis, never said that. But I cant help that he makes me crazy everytime he is out trying promote the VP spot. Listen my kids make me crazy. And I like them too! haha
However, what I hear from people is they lose respect for Hillary when he gets out there. They feel like she is desperate cuz they know the Clintons would never let him out there without them wanting it. That is why it makes me crazy. I like Lanny, no dissin’ from here.

I like the McCain send a check idea and sending a copy, I would recommend writing VOID on the copy in red ink!

Please go to the link titled Puma Pac Action Center on the right side of this page. It’s under the heading “Puma PAC Sites”. On that page scroll down and find the link “Project & Contact List”. On that page you find a list of project contacts. Go to the “New Members” Click on it and fill it out.
We need to organize all the Pumas.
Even though most of you are not New Members, please go to the link and fill it out if you haven’t already.
Help us get a running tally so we can organize people by state, city, etc.
All Hillary sites need to get a running tally of members so we can organize for the long few months ahead till November.
If we can all get organized by city and state, we can buddy up with other Hillary supporters for flyers, ads, etc.
So read #607 and let Puma Pac know who and where you are.
Michelle Obama should get a plastic surgery if she wants to look like a “First Lady”. What about her “terrorist fist jab”, or should women in America copy that kind of body language? Is this kind of image we need for the White House? It’s just too sad!

In a comment on a thread from yesterday or today, there was a youtube link to an interview with a women named Christian. I think that she was a civilian protestor at the DNC rules meeting and was caught on camera loudly protesting.
In the interview she said that Obama voted PRESENT on 5 different bills on abortion presented to the Illinois senate.
If that is true, and we have to verify it, then he surely is not the protector of Roe v. Wade that the democrats are pretending he is.
