We must be united against the DNC’s usurpation of the will of Democratic voters. If they appoint Obama as the Democratic nominee, he will lose in a 50-state landslide. Don’t listen to the pundits or the polls. Listen to your own mind, your own common sense, and your own determination to turn this thing around.
All Pumas, please send an email to Howard Dean, chair of the Democratic National Committee right now @ howarddean@dnc.org
Tell him that we are Democrats who will not vote for Barack Obama for president. We will not support a “Unity Ticket” with Hillary Clinton as the vice-president. We will not donate one thin dime to the DNC or any of its affiliate organizations until they wake up, listen to the voices of the voters in ALL 50 states, and start distancing themselves from this disastrous nominee.
Please copy and paste this letter into the body of your email and write “Puma democrat” after your signature so he knows who we are. By August he’ll be ruing the day he ever tried to dismiss our votes and our voices.
TO: Howard Dean, chair of the Democratic National Committee howarddean@dnc.org
Dear Howard Dean,
I am a member of the new Puma PAC, People United Means Action. Our website is http://blog.pumapac.org
We are democrats who are organizing against the underhanded methods of the DNC in your attempt to “appoint” Barack Obama as the nominee for our party. The clear majority of voters in our party have chosen Hillary Clinton as the one we want to face John McCain.
We will not vote for Barack Obama in November. We will stay home, vote a third party, and in the swing states we will vote for John McCain.
There is still time to do the right thing. The DNC must do everything it can to convince the superdelegates that Hillary Clinton is the only Democrat who can win in November.
We are united against your usurpation of the will of Democratic voters. There will be no unity in the Democratic party until the votes and voices of the 18 million democrats in ALL 50 states are listened to.
We will not back down, be bullied or pandered into supporting a disastrous candidate like Barack Obama. He has been tainted by too many real scandals. He will lose in a landslide loss in all 50 states.
We will not vote for Barack Obama for president.
Sincerely,
Puma Democrat
UPDATE, 6/6/08 at 12:38am: Welcome to all the new members and commenters. The response in the past two days has been phenomenal. If you have sent an email to join the Puma PAC today, don’t worry if you haven’t received a confirmation email reply yet. You are officially joined up — sending the email is all you need to do. We will be sending confirmations and email updates as soon as possible. Feel free to email or comment in threads with questions. I will reply.
Because of the troll infestation that swarms when I turn off moderation (geez, I wonder why the trolls are so desperate?), I am going to hold all comments for the next few hours so I can attend to some other matters (I mean get some sleep). If your comment doesn’t appear it has not been deleted or lost — it’s just being held. I’ll release them first thing in the morning.
Please visit the site often for updates and action alerts. Contribute if you can. Puma PAC is not simply a blog, it’s also a political action committee. The blog is our village square. Let’s get rolling!

DONE and I included the puma from Pagan Power’s blog (which she credits to Riverdaughter!)
I’m sending a letter today. The entire process has been a ridiculous embarassment to the Democratic process. Hillary needs to run as Independent to send a clear message that Americans will not be railroaded to support someone based on other people’s wishes.
Let this be what we felines call a “warning growl,” the message that says, “watch out! we’re here!”
Get a grip! This isn’t about Hillary or Barack any more. Its about beating the Republicans in November. Would you really rather have four more years of Bush policies than see a Democrat in the White House?
Its time for Hillary to concede that Barack is the Democratic Party nominee and work with him to win big in November
I sent the letter to Howard Dean, signed it Puma Democrat and am waiting for the next shoe to drop, and the next shoe, and the next shoe as the Barry and Michelle act stumbles and shuffles (oops) across the polictical landscape. As each shoe drops the USA is harmed, the democratic process is harmed, race relations are harmed and the media and Democratic party are exposed as cowardly and corrupt. Send the letter!
Alan,
this is not a debating blog. This blog is for democratic and independent voters who are disgusted with the DNC and will be opposing Barack Obama until he is forced from the race before August.
Your baiting and divisiveness, the two true hallmarks of Obama and his supporters, are not welcome and will not be tolerated here.
This is your last warning.
Count me in!!! Just sent letter to DNC signed PUMA Democrat.
Yay Sicilian and mampuma and kelly!
we WILL be heard.
I just sent my letter. I sat there in FL, while Howard Dean swore he would fight for every vote to be counted, for the person it was cast for. I don’t like being lied to, how Hillary has been treated, or how the DNC has treated its own people, and I’m mad as ****. You need my help – ask! I’ve been writing this entire election process (blogs, letters, etc) to no avail. Hillary supporters’ posts and letters have been deleted or ignored. It is past time for action. Maybe, the DNC will care after losing 18M!
Strange, since I joined PUMA my posts at HRC.com are not going through….surprise suprise.
I am glad i joined! Just sent an email to good old Howard Dean. Thanks for creating this site!
Go Hillary 2008!!!
Shark,
If you wanted to understand, you’d listen and not talk.
And, your comments are too long for anyone to want to read.
goodbye.
What should we do if Obama chooses Hillary as his vice-presidential pick? If you ask me, in November you vote for the President and not the Vice-President. Therefore, even if Hillary is Obama’s VP, I still don’t know if I can cast my vote for him.
What are Pumas to do?
Hillary for president. no exceptions. no vice-president.
We dont want her reputation and legacy tainted by this corrupt Chicago pol.
Hi TajM, I’m not voting for him no matter what. He’ll take her votes and then lock her in a closet. No way I will vote for him under any circumstances.
Thanks, admin. I was just about to Shark to get lost.
I can’t work I am so upset about what has been done to Hillary. I have myself closed up in my office. I am surrounded by Republicans in my hometown and my closest Dem friends like Obama. Aargh. It is good to find a place where I feel I can share my disgust with our situation. Bill from SC (Shark) just doesn’t get that this is an emotional time for Hillary supporters.
Please tell me Hillary would not even consider being Obama’s VP. That would be horrible.
I am switching to Independent and writing Howard Dean.
Dragonfly,
I’ll work to keep these threads free of insulting, condescending, hostile, and rude comments.
Some will slip through the net.
Pumas, feel free to tell the losers to get lost. Do not be bullied, not even into engaging the argument on its merits — that’s a sneaky troll trick, don’t fall for it. It will only make you tired and sad, and we need to be energized and cheerful. Ignore them or tell the meatheads to beat it.
The time for arguing is over. We aren’t listening anymore.
I have to say, I am very disappointed by this site. What exactly are you fighting for? 50 state landslide is a bit of a stretch. I can understand if you do not want Obama because of his policy and issues he is fighting for but wait, they are 90% the same as Clinton’s. I also hear a lot about 18M Clinton voters, but you must realize that so of those 18M have already decided to go with the party, some are not please with Clinton. There are also those who have not voted in the primaries and will go with a Democrat. Also there are 18M who voted for Obama.
I think the real question is what you want for your country. If the last 8 years have been wonderful for you then by all means vote for McCain. If not, I would think you would then look at the issues.
Finally, I think it is a shame to call this site PUMA Democrat, because it is the farthest thing from democratic I have seen.
Murphy,
I had quite a lot of fun cutting up my voter registration card, attaching it to a copy of the pink puma and sending it to Howard.
Thanks again for creating this site.
I’ve just read some of the Admins response and sounds a bit immature. So I say good luck but I doubt you will get anywhere if you do not hear all sides.
Just sent the action alert letter to Howard Dean.
Belinda, like listening to people like you has gotten us anywhere? take the baloney elsewhere.
I sent the email to Dean. I appreciate having some where to go to focus the energy from this campaign.
Belinda
Please find a differnt sight to post perhapes an Obama sight.
We, Hillary supporters know what we are going to do in Novemember. Faith is far more important than anything else!
Belinda says “I can understand if you do not
want Obama because of his policy and issues
he is fighting for”
I do not want Obama because it is immoral to vote for a racist, elitist with ties to the Nation of Islam, Weathermen, Jerry Wright, Michael Pfelger, Rezko and a hate teaching church. The Michelle and Barry team have milked the American dream as few couples could possible imagine. They have Ivy League educations, salaries and income in the millions and yet they behave aggrieved whenever anyone actually disagrees with their agenda.
Strategy:
Vote in as many Democrats to the House and Senate who are with the People. Vote out those who are not.
tusconlynn,
good for you! This is only beginning to build.
back to the spam filter.
Sorry folks, I guess the friendly obamabots haven’t received the memo:
memo to obamabots: we’re done talking. goodbye.
I JUST SENT MY LETTER, HOPE IT HELPS , LORD KNOWS THIS COUNTRY DOESNT NEED OBAMA IN THE WHITE HOUSE , IM VOTING REPUBLICAN, I DONT LIKE MCCAIN BUT HE IS THE LESSER OF 2 EVILS, I WISH HILLARY WOULD RUN INDEPENDANT.
I am new to this site, I’ve been blogging on hillary clinton.com for a long time. I love Hillary and I will not vote for BO. Have any of you also joined the Domecrats Against Obama website? I did. I hope all her supporters follow through with what they say and not vote for BO in November. I truly do want a landslide loss for him, in all 50 states.
“We must be united against the DNC’s usurpation of the will of Democratic voters.” Usupration by the DNC? WTF are you talking about? The ‘will of Democratic voters’ have spoken, and Barack is their choice. Get over it already. Hillary did not win the popular vote, she did not win with pledged delegates and she did not win the majority of super delegates, so why should she be annointed the Democratic nominee? If she were, now that would really be usurpation…..
Thank you for this site!!!
Our disappointment lies with the unfair and ugly treatment of Clinton by the media, the DNC, and Obama and his camp.
After all this and now she’s forced to support him? Something is wrong here and we don’t think we’re buying.
She’s the most qualified, experienced, a dedicated public servant; all she ever did is work hard for our benefit.
How did the DNC treat her unfairly Bruce? My understanding is that all the primaries were ‘front-loaded’ this year in order to assist her and prevent an insurgent candidate from rising to the top.
This male PUMA has now joined. Welcome to me.
My post is gone! Help!
But why can’t we support them together? Can someone help me understand?
Welcome, New Hampster!
Welcome NewHamster — papa pumas wanted!
Please post this… Forgive me, it’s long but IMPORTANT INFO in moving forward…
… Warning about “FACEBOOK”. The young multi-billionaire co-founder of FACEBOOK ran Obama’s “internet campaign” from fundraising to organizing and employing the rabid bloggers that bashed, harassed, spread propaganda about Hillary, the Campaign, and Us (Hillary supporters) on every blog, news site and forum.
Also, with millions of “members” already on FACEBOOK, they had a ready-made mailing list for Obama.
Also know this, in going forward with any Plan… we must learn that the MEDIA courts the $$$$ paid for both corporate and political advertising, therefore spins toward the highest paying candidate with the “supposed” largest audience… Why? for the good of their corporate paid advertisers’ exposure.
FACEBOOK experts knew this and built their strategy on making 200 paid opposition and information bloggers in a 500 square foot room look and sound like millions. They even stole our identities and got Hillary supporters knocked off for “alleged racist, hate” comments. It happened to me over and over on ABC and here early on. They were brilliant bloggers (hackers) – trained by the FACEBOOK technical and marketing gurus.
They (MAJOR MEDIA) courted Hillary when she was #1 with national attention, a national groundswell of supporters and a big Media budget… and dumped her because of 1) the SUDDEN influx of the seemingly “millions” of supporters all fanned by mass emails and bloggings of a)”propagandized interest in Obama and the ‘change’ he allegedly stood for”, b) misinformation and negative racial spin on Bill’s comments, c) Hillary’s positions, and c) event organization (to get the numbers at his events; 2) when Hillary’s Campaign began to be outraised… the Media began shifting their “voice” toward his campaign’s money! Even suppressing the truth about Obama’s Political affiliations, Chicago history and radical relationships… (they knew all along)
It is precisely the same thing that happened on Iraq… but in that case, the Whitehouse Powers threatened journalists and other Democratic political leaders with non-access (i.e., Hillary’s political demise) and blame for future national security events (i.e., now racism, party division) if they didn’t get in line with the “president’s” (i.e., now SELECTED candidate) policy.
PLEASE remember this as we move forward. WE ARE THE VOICES of the poor, elderly, dis-enfranchised, and TRUE “MIDDLE-CLASS” AMERICAN! WE HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM AND ORGANIZE THEIR VOICES TO BE HEARD (in this age of internet, lightening speed ability to “persuade” and mass-media controls over propagandizing the American Voter for $$$!
We must not just QUOTE Jesus or any other TRUE LEADER FOR THE PEOPLE… but BE what HE (SHE) stood (Stands) for… When we do it for the “least” of these, we do it for Him (HER)! WE CAN DO THIS! THANK YOU PUMAS!
Elle, my spam trigger alert is on high today. Apologies if you got caught by mistake.
Pumas are NOT supporting a “unity” ticket. It is an insult to the majority of democratic voters in all 50 states who chose Clinton as their nominee. She has earned the right to run for president for the Democratic party. Obama had to cheat and scheme to get the nod.
No VP.
What a great site…Thank you, a glimmer of hope in what was a very dark day for me. I sent my letter to Dean. I too will NEVER support Obama and hope that Hillary will never grace his ticket. He doesn’t deserve her. He WILL fall flat on his face, and it will prove that he never had the vote to begin with. There is something terribly wrong with the Democratic party and until it’s fixed I’m going with the Independents.
Thanks for listening – NOT!
Is it true that this site is funded by “McCain for President”?
welcome Ramsey. This blog is a place for democrats and independents to come and feel at home — a refuge from the bile in the media and Obama movement onslaught.
Please join the conversations and comment often.
Our PAC is getting oganized to take action! If we talk here, our actions will be louder and stronger.
Stay tuned for updates on the Puma PACS first initiatives.
I TOTALLY AGREE MURPHY… WE MUST NOT BACK DOWN ABOUT BEING FORCED TO SUPPORT OBAMA… but we MUST FIND A SMART, POWERFUL WAY TO GET HER THERE… LET’S BE POWERFULLY SMART… POWERFULLY SMART AS A PUMA!!!
oh please, Alan — go away. We’ve said many times. We’re not listening.
Hello fellow HRC supporters,
I am looking for us to start a powerful movement to change to this and future elections. I believe in the power of large numbers. We need solidarity. How do we best reach all the supporters and organize so everyone doesn’t scatter and lose focus?
Goodbye, Daniel.
right-choice,
I dont believe Hillary is backing down. I firmly believe this is a strategic move on her part to let Obama face the full force of the republican and media onslaught. Her presence in the race will now no longer be providing cover for him. He will wither and be forced out of the race before the convention.
This will be the Summer of Revelations for Barack Obama.
We need to keep Hillary’s back.
HERE THEY COME… OBAMA’S/FACEBOOK POLITICAL DRONES. “Never trust someone under 30″ unless they recognize what true democracy, basic human decency and respect and the WILL of the people actually looks, sounds and feels like…
(It looks like 19 million + feet going into a voting booth. It sounds like those voters voicing their opposition to the DNC’s decisions by warning them that they will not vote for their “selected” candidate.
It feels like millions of voters mad as hell because their Votes, Voices and Constitutional Rights are being violated!
That’s what it is, Obama folks!
I am still heartbroken and confused and ready to start singing “OH CANADA”…injustice has been served.
redtumble — LOL!
rightchoice, well said.
We need help! Delegates are still attending their state conventions and will vote on resolutions to remove the caucus process. We need to give our support! Caucuses should be removed from all states so every VOTE will count! Texas convention is on NOW! Let all Texas votes count! Call TX friends & family & any contacts there to tell them to vote carefully on their state platform and resolutions! Don’t delay! WA state & Iowa conventions on June14th. We have work to do! Protect ALL VOTERS! I’m a WA st delegate & will keep DEM status to vote at state convention. We MUST make these changes to get all votes to count! NO MORE CAUCUS CHAOS! Go Vote!
Right on Murphy…I like the way you think. And I’d like to repeat DON’T listen to the news, pundits or polls…It’s all there to make us give up our dreams, our hopes and our Hillary. I will only vote for Hillary as President, nothing else. I will never sit quietly by and watch her dignify someone who is so undignified. Hang tight everyone, It ain’t over till it’s over. And all you BO folks…”don’t go away mad…just go away”
We, the supporters of Barack Obama are very angry at the Clinton supporters. Why do you believe that her 18 million voters are more impt than his 18 million? You do realize neither of them can will a national election without each other. So my advice is this, if you don’t vote for Barack, his supporters will NEVER vote for HRC. So I guess this is a stalemate. Oh yeah, by the way, she’s up for re-election in NY real soon.
redtumble, funny, Canada was my first thought today too! But let’s stay here and fight the injustice. Hopefully that’s Hillary’s plan. Slow and steady. On to Denver!
Fellow PUMAs – there IS a brand new way to look at this situation.
Obama and his supporters are extremely terrified now.
The power has now shifted to Hillary supporters.
Almost 18 million voters.
It’s beginning to dawn on Obama supporters now just how suddenly helpless they have become – in spite of Obama (hopefully temporarily) getting the nomination. They know that they don’t have the power to bully, guilt, threaten or scare nearly 18 million Hillary supporters into voting for Obama. So they’re REALLY about to lash out now.
What can we do with our new power?
Just sent my email – I hope Hillary decides to run as an independant. I believe that it’s time for a legitimate third party in the US. We need to have more checks and balances on the power of the government – we need to go back to “A government for the people and by the people” not a government for a select few. I cannot vote for a person who listened to anti-American, racist remarks for 20 years, then says that’s not how all of his pastor’s sermons were!? My vote will only go to Hillary!
ystorey.
Like we care if you are angry. WE ARE DISGUSTED WITH ALL OF YOUR NASTY BEHAVIOR FOR 18 MONTHS. BO CHEATED. END OF STORY.
ystorey… you didn’t vote for “HER” and you lost the POPULAR VOTE, anyway!
I’m afraid to say you’re wasting your time trying to reason here, ystorey, according to the admin,
“We aren’t listening anymore.”
That’d be funny if it wasn’t so sad…
Goodbye, tools…
Reply to Alan,
This is about bringing justice to Hillary and democratic process. This is about making DNC aware of the consequences of their unethical actions towards Hillary.
Why should Hillary conceded when she won more vote than Obama ? Why can’t Obama concede and support Hillary ? Why can’t DNC apologize to Hillary ? Just because DNC selected him, it doesn’t mean he really won the nomination.
Currently on the ethics front, I don’t see any difference between Republican party and DNC. Both are crooks.
So if DNC doesn’t reinstate Hillary and apologize for her, then I would vote for John McCain. He is more respectable than Obama. It is not just the party, candidate matters too. Obama has not shown any ethical behavior so far that is worthy of a leader.
I suggest you take some ethics classes. It will help you understand.
ystorey, You’re breakin my heart.
Dear Dean
You got your wish. You got your nominee. Now the DNC can’t afford the $40 million for the convention and so many people refuse to donate to the party. In fact so many are leaving the party. Sen Obama had to spend so much just to try to beat Sen Clinton and yet Sen Clinton got the popular vote. You and your minions worked so hard to stop Sen Clinton and it has come full circle. I am glad your happy you have destroyed the party and I am glad I am no longer a member of this party. Also I hope you still feel the same about Sen Obama when Patrick Fitzgerald concludes his investigation into Sen Obama. You made your bed now sleep in it.
Sincerely
John PUMA
ystorey… By the way… did you hear that we are mobilizing to defeat your Chicago Style Political Cheating “Goddamn America” alliance?
ystorey. you think you are angry now, wait until you see who wins the White House in November. LOL!
ANewDay2008, You may be right.
Strange…Since I joined puma my posted on HRC.com aren’t going through either.
It is so good to come to this sight and find many of the HRC.com bloggers. It appears that the Obama folks still just don’t get it, it is about the person that has been selected not elected. It’s about my vote here in FL although I stood in line for twenty five minutes or more to cast my precious vote and my reward has been it is a beauty contest and a half vote; it’s about giving a candidate votes and delegates that they did not earn, it’s about how the Chicago Senator stated ” that he did not give any thought to Hillary supporting him, that he will discuss with Michelle and that they will go out on a date.” Well Hillary has always been invisible to the Senator and this in my opinion says it all about her and VP. Maybe I am wrong but if accepted she will be in the back room not visible.
and shark… have you seen that National Geographic special on Shark Mating Behavior? They actually gang up on the female… drag her by the Fin and relentlessly assualt her…
Congratulations on picking an appropraite name for this forum…
We are NOW giving birth to a Revolution… thanks to
political rapists… just like you.
Just sent my letter to the DNC and joined and donated to John McCain campaign!
Dear YourCrazyPeople (for BO) please be polite and know when it’s time to go. Why would you even want to be here? You got the world by the string, don’t you? Go enjoy
rightchoice-Hillary08, YES…what you said!
I’m a lifelong Democrat who will vote for a Republican Presidential Candidate for the first time in my life.
There are many things that trouble me about Obama…
1) The iconic pedestal he has built for himself. (one of his supporters said he felt Obama’s rise was “divine intervention”.
2) The assumption that anyone who does not support him must be racist.
3) The BS about not knowing his pastor of 20 years was a racist, hateful demagogue who despises the United States of America.
4) The BS about being a Christian when he is clearly an agnostic or atheist, whose only association with a church has been with a Anti-American political one.
5) The BS about a “new kind of politics” when he is an old-style Chicago politician.
6) The disenfranchisement of Florida and Michigan and his campaigns role in keeping them from voting again.
7) The theft of 4 Michigan delegates from Hillary by his cronies.
I’m proud to be voting for McCain in November, and I’m working on my own website – McDems.com – Democrats For McCain.
I just heard Obami saying “its my party” on FOX, yeah but he forget to add that its our votes not his to do what the hell we want with them.
Go PUMA
Dear Your Crazy,
I do believe that you ARE crazy. Hillary never behaved as if she were owed the nomination – she worked hard to establish that she DESERVED the nomination. Everyone keeps saying that Obama’s nomination is historic – what is so historic about another male nominee? If you don’t think sexism has played a SIGNIFICANT role in this race you are sorely mistaken… Just check out some of the “cute” items that people have been hawking (Hillary nutcrackers) and the remarks about Hillary’s attire by many of the news media!
I think the Democratic party has blown this whole process and will regret their actions come November…
she can’t take the VP. She’s to overqualified! Not sure why BHO’s supporters are here! I think they are running scared! He won’t win! The 18M will make sure of it. They are showing poll results on TV about the % of people going to McCain. His staff said BHO has lots of work to do!! LOL….won’t help!
to “your crazy people”
nothing you stated means anything. what matters is the american people and their votes. not the media or superdelegates thoughts. this democratic party rules are flawed…superdelegates should not go against the majority of the voters wishes!!!
i will not vote for BO….Never!!
i have started to write on here several times and i just get lost in what to say i am beside myself how can so many people get behind someone they dont know, Hillary is and always has been a open book and BO has so many hidden secrets it scares me…….hitler is the only other person that comes to mind when i ask myself why so many desperate americans would get behind someone they know nothing about.
have you guys seen this video on you tube it is a tribute to hillary it made me cry…………
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESUj1PNyQbU
amen tatepuma! Welcome to you and all HRC bloggers. We are uniting from all the corners of the sane blogosphere.
And thanks to all the troll-blockers. Remember, we’re done talking.
Of course, we are always civil and respectful of people’s dignities (trolls ARE people too, I suppose), but our niceness doesnt mean we have to listen or even engage.
Hillary supporters — we’re the good guys.
Just sent my letter! I have been a die hard Democrat since registering to vote for the first time when I was 18. And I am seriously considering switching to Independent. This entire process has been unbelievable!
Obama minions seem bitter
Email sent. The DNC will regret this move.
Hillforprez, you are so right. I don’t put msnbc, nbc or cnn on anymore! I heard NBC’s letters stand for National Barrrrrocccck Center! The media will regret this….and I can’t wait to feel that WONDERFUL satisfaction. I still think somethings going to come out about him to make the sky fall! Then the idiot super’s will vote Clinton in Denver!!
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the media has totally stopped talking about the election…now that they got what they wanted…Hillary to quit. Unbelievable!!!
I can not believe that the DNC would want someone in this countries highest office that listened and obviously supported the “god damn america” man. Shameful, and yet not surprising.
they still talk but yet all the talk is about Hillary on when will she suspend and should she be a VP
Have to run! Thanks Murphy for this site! GO HILLARY! sent my forms in changing to independant! bye
Hi gang,
I, too, used to blog over at HRC. I have a great feeling that once BHO is vetted; Hillary will prevail as our nominee in Denver.
No BHO ever.
Nice to see so many of our family members over here. Thanks, Murphy for your diligent admin work with the Obamabots!!
syrk72, Thanks for the heads up on the video. It was great. I don’t think we’ll have to wait long either. Like I read over at HRC…”BO will stumble in the homestretch and Hillary will cross the line to win…
I just sent my letter. I am really happy to hear about this site-a proHillary site-not an anti Obama site-much more positive-I in good conscious cannot vote for Senator Obama-Obama fans go to your own site and enjoy your moment in the sun-leave us alone -thanks
Thank you so much for creating this site. I’m apparently not nearly as well-versed in the internet as I need to be. For the last 16 months, I have watched as a concerted anti-Clinton campaign was waged in the media and online. I have watched as many Americans like myself have been denigrated and called all kinds of disrespectful names while defending our candidate. I am a black man, and I can say without a trace of doubt, that the Obama campaign played the race card early and often, but was never called on it because the media was far too busy parsing every word Bill Clinton uttered, looking for so-called “racial undertones”. I have been completely disgusted by this campaign, which was not waged on the issues, but was waged based on the Obama campaign’s ability and the media’s willingness to label him as some sort of “post-racial” messiah. While the media is telling me that it is a great thing for a black man to be nominated, what I really hear is “it’s great that the democrats have made it so easy for the republicans this fall.”
I find it hilarious, now, to hear these Obamaphiles talk about party unity when for the last 16 months they have run roughshod over the views, values, opinions, and beliefs of those of us who recognize the value of a Hillary Clinton presidency. Obama’s supporters have been some of the nastiest, sleaziest people I’ve ever interacted with; all while they live in this fantasy land that this masterful politician will somehow change the entire political landscape of the country. What they seem to ignore is the fact that they are supposed to be electing a PRESIDENT, not a KING. There are more than 500 (congress/senate)elected officials in Washington who have vested interests in not allowing this guy to shake things up as dramatically as he promises, and he will have to go through them to get anything done. So, what will all the Obamabots do when they wake up and realize that this guy is just an empty shell that gives a great speech? What will hapen when they realize precisely why blind faith is not a viable basis for choosing a world leader? I know what I’ll say: you should’ve voted for Hillary. I know I’ll be writing her name in on my ballot this fall, if I show up. Either way, there is no way that I can vote for the Obama jackass.
ystorey… you didn’t vote for “HER” and you lost the POPULAR VOTE, anyway!
——————————–
FINAL 2008 DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY COUNT:
Hillary Clinton 17,785,009
Barack Obama 17,479,990
-ABC News
Hillary by 305,019 votes.
————————————
Aren’t Obama supporters tired of being blatant liars even yet?
mrshannonmartin, you seem versed pretty well enough! Your comment sums up quite well what millions of us have been feeling.
And your logical, calm, but determined tone makes the other side’s crazed acolytes look like children.
Thank you for commenting. Please get versed up and comment often!
Well, it’s a whole new blogosphere opening up, of Hillary supporters; we will expand as the fauxgressive blogs wither.
When are the t-shirts coming?
we are 18 million hearts breaking because of injustice. I am stunned that this has happened. Hillary is my only canidate and I will suffer through 4 more years with McCain to have Hillary run again in 2012!
AM, stay tuned — we are organizing as fast as we can!
Excellent site, Murphy! I’ve just sent my letter to Coward Dean. He will hear our deafening roar!
Everyone, please be ready for Senator Clinton to endorse Obama on Saturday. It doesn’t mean she’s conceding – she isn’t. I’ve talked with her campaign office three times today, with Alison, and have verified this information.
If we know ahead of time that she’s endorsing, not just supporting, we won’t be blindsided, and will see it for what it is – a necessary political move. Alison says that she’s pretty sure Hillary will keep her delegates. I would suggest anyone who is interested go to http://www.hillaryclintonforum.net for additional news, support, and encouragement.

Thank you for this site! It feels good to be able to hang out with like-minded Democrats. I’m still in shock over what has happened in this primary. Unbelievable!
I sent my letter to Howard Dean as well (to think I was a Deaniac 4 years ago).
Hillary should not be trying to get the VP spot. I think Obama will go down in flames and wouldn’t want Hillary to be collateral damage. Her reputation is at stake here! Anyhow, I will not vote for Obama regardless of who is on the ticket.
Hello, all you HRC website bloggers and others. I just want to say to some of the Obama trolls that Obama is not the “presumtive” nominee because he is who the people want. He is the “presumtive” nominee because he bought out the system. He bought the superdelegates and the DNC. He bought out the media. He stole votes that were not his. He used the race card over and over. Hillary supporters are not stupid and we will fight to make sure that he does not get in the White House to steal America! The only change he is bringing is that things will be WORSE if he gets in Office. That is a change we don’t want.
I have tried to ask these questions on the HRC site but have never gotten on the board. I hope that people will take my questions seriously and answer them honestly.
1) Please tell me what Barack has done against Hillary other than getting the nomination?
2) What did you want the DNC to do with Florida and Michigan?
3) Why do you think that the DNC pick Barack over Hilllary? Please list specific examples.
4) Why would allow McCain to continue Bush’s policies for 4 more years?
5) Is your support for Hillary more important having our troops come back from Iraq? To have universal health in our country? To protect a woman’s right to choose? To address the problem of global warming?
Thank for your responses ahead of time.
As someone else probably commented:
…this is not a debating blog. This blog is for democratic and independent voters who are disgusted with the DNC and will be opposing Barack Obama until he is forced from the race before August.
Your baiting and divisiveness, the two true hallmarks of Obama and his supporters, are not welcome and will not be tolerated here.
Hillary talks about the last 17 months, well i dont know about the rest of you but my journey started years ago, the last 17months have just been official.
i have said since she was first lady the first term i would vote for her if she ever ran for president.
I hope someone can help out here with tonyjc. If I have to answer his questions, I would need to write a book. Especially the first question.
KarlaforHillary
Why is he not that nominee? He won more pledged delegates than Hillary and only got more superdelegates in past few months. Would Hillary be “stealing” the race if she won the nomination because the superdelegates put her there?
He bought the superdelegates and the DNC.
-How exactly did he do this? Hillary had a huge superdelegate lead up until February.
He bought out the media.
-He may have bought more airtime than Hillary but that is not his fault. What are you referring to?
He stole votes that were not his.
-I really do not know what this refers to.
He used the race card over and over.
-When and how?
Emotions aside, wouldn’t your arguments be more convincing if you didn’t hide behind the “this is not a debating blog” tactic?
Take care,
-d
An addendum to my earlier comment, that provides some data:
RealClearPolitics has the vote breakdown here:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/democratic_vote_count.html
Among the various numbers, here is one:
Popular Vote (w/MI
Uncommitted to Obama)
Obama: 17,773,626 48.0%
Clinton: 17,822,145 48.1%
Clinton +48,519 +0.1%
If estimate for caucus states that do not release data is included, and “Uncommitted” in MI is assigned to Obama, Obama comes out a mere 61,703 votes ahead (0.2%).
I spoke of parallels with right-wing electioneering, and this perhaps offers more of them. The question of who won the popular vote (Gore v Bush) and the disenfranchisement of low-income voters (Gore v Bush, Kerry v Bush) — low-income voters break for Clinton over Obama, and they suffer burdens in caucus states that are not felt by their richer Obama-voting counterparts.
C&E.. .
You do not have answer my questions. I came here because I wanted to be in contact with some Hillary supporters and want to understand your/their grievances. If you do not wish to share. . .that is fine.
I am not sure how I am “baiting and divisiveness”
I just signed up and I sent my email to Howard Dean.
Ravi,
I understand your point but these were the rules to begin with. It was not like the candidates did not know about the caucus system prior to the start of this election. It is like saying that a football team should have won because they had more yards than the other team.
It was Hillary’s choice not to compete in the caucus states and focus on the more popular states. Obama chose the opposite route.
Ignore the “baiters” who are coming here to bother us already. Why do they not just go back to their celebration of their so-called “victory”? We are here to support each other and OUR candidate, OUR 44th President – Hillary Rodham Clinton.
So ignore those who would come here trying to bait us into discussions that only seek to drag us down and divert us from our mission. Hear the PUMAs ROAR!!!

If you had been paying attention all along, you would have the answers to your own questions.
We have other things to do now. Buh-bye.
tonyjc
1st lets take a look at caucus states we wont even go into the intinidation just the math
he won by 13,000 votes and earned 13 delegates
2nd HILLARY won primary by 200,000 and only earned 10 delegates
3rd if he earns 1 delegate for every 1,000 votes he wins by~then by any sane math HILLARY should get the same, CORRECT!!!!
4th meaning in just this one example HILLARY should have received 200 delegates not 10!!!
5th they still owe HILLARY 190 delegates just in this one example
Now your guys & the DNC’s way of counting is CALLED FUZZY MATH at best.
also called stacking the deck
cheating
stealing etc etc etc
dont even get me started on Florida & Michigan as I live in Michigan and know the truth from the lies
I LIVED IT AND HAD A BIRDS EYE VIEW OF ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What am I baiting you to do? If HRC supporters have legitimate gripes. . .air them out instead huddling up and crying foul.
gokimfrommichigan
Okay. What I do not understand is that the rules were clear from the beginning. It is not like the DNC or the states changed their voting system half way through the race. What if the situation was reversed and Hillary had won the nomination because she won the caucus states, would she be “stealing the election” Also, if the math is so obvious, why would HRC’s campaign not spent more time in the caucus rather than leaving them to obama.
Please tell me your grievance about FL and MI. I believe that both HRC and BO agreed that the two states would not count.
There always comes a time in every person’s life when they are forced to take a serious stand on principle. This is my time.

Would you have had Rosa Parks stand so a man could sit
or have her go sit in the back of the bus just because
THAT WERE THE RULES WHEN THIS ALL STARTED~
I’m sure you know who Rosa Parks is dont you?
“This SWEETIE; REFUSES to go sit QUIETLY
goandersen,
That is what I keep hearing from Hillary supporters. . . it is the classic I am not going to tell you if don’t know method of argument.
in the back of the BUS”
Opps typed to fast:
“This SWEETIE; REFUSES to go sit QUIETLY in the back of the BUS”
gokim,
Okay. . but Hillary did not challenge rule from the beginning. She only challenged them after she began losing.
Would she be in the back of the bus if the situation was reversed and she had won the caucus states and barack won the “big” states and thus earned the nomination?
Caucus in my state was about 300 people in a high school gym and ended in split vote yet BO won……i dont understand how when we had about 2000 show up to see Bill Clinton speak the day before……….BO didnt come anywhere near my county yet he won it???
did i mention i shook Bills hand (big huge grin)
PA4HILL08
What principle is that? Make sure HRC is the president no matter what . . .even if it means more death in Iraq, more people without insurance in this country, continual destruction of the globe, reversing roe v. wade.
tonyjc
Have you ever heard of the rule of “fair reflection”??
I repeat: There always comes a time in every person’s life when they are forced to take a serious stand on principle. This is my time.
I want to apologize to Hillary Supporters here about the roughness in trying to make my point(s)… and maybe to the Obama people, as well.
tonyac… Maybe you (Obama Supporters) believed you were doing the “right thing” by voting for a “Young, African American to make History”.
But… you also voted for a typical, old school politician who 1) ruthlessly eliminated his Chicago Democratic opponents rather than allowing the PEOPLE A CHOICE…
2) Sold his votes in Chicago to both a ruthless slumlord Real Estate Developer who didn’t care about disenfranchised blacks or whites as well as to Corporations who moved entire plants overseas….
3) In less than a year in the Senate… abandoned his constituents, again, by jumping to run for President…
4) CHOSE to use such horrific political tricks and divisive propaganda to “win”… that he and his supporters did more harm to race relations, social equality – and, now, the Democratic Party – - all of which the Clintons worked for ALL OF THEIR LIVES. They didn’t write a “book” to publicize themselves into position… THEY LIVED IT… and then wrote books!
AND YOU WONDER WHY WE ARE ANGRY? I AM REALLY SORRY THAT WE ARE ANGRY… I AM REALLY SORRY FOR THE CHOICES THAT HE, YOU AND THE DNC MADE…
OBAMA should have considered that the politically savvy thing to do (FOR OUR COUNTRY?) was to get behind Clinton to “Make History” and 2012 to 2020 could have been his – - as both Vice President and then President — MAKING HISTORY FOR WOMEN AND MINORITIES… and the Democratic Party would have had 12 – 16 years to straighten out the mess our nation is in…
It is NOT OK that your Candidate and the DNC has tried to destroy our Candidate’s (and her husband’s) Political career and Presidential Legacy… then blame HER, Bill Clinton and US – - her Supporters – - for your Candidate’s – - and you – his Supporter’s Divisive, unjust, UN-democratic, tactics!
“1st lets take a look at caucus states we wont even go into the intinidation just the math

Sir, your math demonstrates a lack of knowledge in the differences between caucuses and primaries.

ok 1st all votes should count its unamerican to not count all the votes period.
there was no rule for them to take their names off the ballot and by the way:
Clinton
Kucinich
Gravel
Dodd
Uncommitted
were all still on the ballot
and
Obama
Richardson
Beden
Edwards took their names off the ballot by a letter they sent to the state of Michigan
Tonyjc contin~
the state of Michigan attempted to put all their names back on the ballot and (the 4) threatened to sue the state of Michigan
Rightchoice:
Your third point is subjective.
Can you provide references for the other 3?
There are thousands of us here in Kentucky, as there all over the country, who worked very hard for Hillary. Needless to say, we are disappointed.
I will listen to Hillary’s appeal to her supporters on Saturday and in the coming months before deciding what to do.
Her power lies in her ability to command our support. Without us, she is powerless, and I for one will not ABANDON her by selfishly doing whatever I feel like without regard to Senator Clinton’s wishes just because I’m upset.
As for John McCain, I know for a fact that Hillary does not want any of her supporters to vote for a man who, when asked by a woman in South Carolina “How do we beat the b**ch?” laughed and replied, “That’s an excellent question.”
Last night I was restless after reading Hillary’s email, but this morning I got out of my bed with renewed hope and spirit, I can’t be silent anymore. I have to do something for betterment of this country and future Americans. What DNC and superdelegates had done was usurp the will of the people, that is undemocratic in every way. I send another email to Howard Dean and once again voiced out my opinion how the party treated Hillary, she was treated with contempt and that I cannot forgive. I left the Democratic Party officially yesterday, the party do not stand for me anymore what I believe in. Obama will lose in general election if he is the nominee, but I am still hopeful during convention in Denver superdelegates will change their minds and vote for Hillary. She is just suspending her campaign, she is keeping her pledged delegates, superdelegates and they can still vote for her. Thank you PUMA, I’ll do my work to have Hillary the nominee when convention is over.
tonyjc contin~
there was also tv ads, newspapers, radio and massive publicity throughout all Michigan if you wanted to vote for (the 4) you need to vote UNCOMMITTED.
The 4 also put out a JOINT flyer and campaign brochure telling the people of Michigan to vote UNCOMMITTED if you want ANY OF THE 4
I’m with ya PA4HILL08 fka U B L. All good things come to those who wait. Our paitinece will prevail come the end of August!
thank you Murphy for this site!
Obama supporters and questioners – today is too emotional a time to debate with those of us who believe Hillary should be our President regardless of any stupid DNC rules and procedures. Right now, we are mobilizing to get our candidate back in the White House as Madame President.
Go Hillary!
Hi everyone,
I’d like to start by saying that, at the beginning of the primary process, I was undecided between Clinton and Obama; I found (and continue to find) their policies extremely similar, and initially found their political identities (“change” vs. “experience”) similarly simplistic (at best) and relatively baseless (at worst). I ultimately voted for Obama in the New York primary, and have continued to support him through the process, though not with what I will be the first to admit is the at times embarrassing fervor of some of his supporters.
With that as introduction — I am a graduate of Harvard Law School, work as a lawyer at a prominent New York law firm (with the salary to match), and have a culturally diverse group of friends and ever-widening network of professional and political “connections.” I, and my friends and colleagues — young, affluent, highly educated, and acutely aware of and interested in politics — are the people the Democrats want in their party. This has been the case for some time now, and will continue to be the case. I say that not as a boast, but a statement of fact. You may deny it if you’d like, but certainly at some level you know this is true.
Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, and everyone else to whom your letters of outrage are to be addressed also know this. It is complete nonsense to claim that “18 million voters” will jump ship and not vote for Obama, particularly in the swing states. The party leadership knows this. Obama knows this. Even you all know this. (I, obviously, know it — of the many Hillary voters I know, not one of them would even dream of voting for a Republican in the general election.) You are a vocal minority driven by spite, preaching masturbatorily to your neighbors on the fringe. Drop out of the party and vote for McCain if it will make you feel better — nobody cares.
Also, not to twist the knife, but I can guarantee you that it simply destroys Hillary Clinton to know that the vast bulk of the future leaders of her party support her opponent while her own supporters write logically (and grammatically) inept missives on blogs. One may fashion herself as a candidate of the people, but both Hillary and Bill are so deeply in tune the traditional channels of influence (educated, moneyed urban dwellers) that the former almost certainly would trade supporter groups with Obama. (Ask yourself how many Rhodes scholars and Yale graduates held positions in Bill’s cabinet, or consider the company the former President and his wife regularly keep.) Again, feel free to deny, but you know it’s true.
So, for the highly vocal minority on this and similar blogs who have “torn up their registration cards,” I and the bulk of the party say “good riddance.” Enjoy your continuing lack of any determinative influence in both party and American politics.
rightchoice-Hillary08
First of all, I did not vote for Obama because it was “right thing” or because Obama was a “Young, African American” I am actually offended at that suggestion. How would you guys feel if I said that the reason why you voted for HRC is because she is an older white women.
“In less than a year in the Senate… abandoned his constituents, again, by jumping to run for President.”
I do not think that Obama’s constituents minded his choice especially since Illinois went big for him.
Also, check out Lincoln’s political experience.
CHOSE to use such horrific political tricks and divisive propaganda to “win”… that he and his supporters did more harm to race relations, social equality –
-Please list examples.. . .broad accusations are not that convincing.
-On the flip side, Bill and Hillary certainly did not help race relations by downplaying BO’s win in S.C. and to claim that white working class people would not vote for Obama.
“and, now, the Democratic Party – - all of which the Clintons worked for ALL OF THEIR LIVES. They didn’t write a “book” to publicize themselves into position… THEY LIVED IT… and then wrote books!”
-I think the Clintons are great and deserve great praise. That does not mean HRC gets to be president. Look at Kennedy and LBJ. LBJ was the “senior” candidate but the country wanted to go with Kennedy. Close primary and general election but Kennedy did win.
-How. . what tactics?
I hope HRC does run independent……..BO will win for sure. He draws Dems, Reps, and Independents..I think it will come back to haunt HRC in the end. So go ahead and vote for McCain…..you’ll be writing her epitath in the democratic party for sure.
Tonyjc contin~
the 4 also had thugs/henchmen/reps whatever you want to call them here in Michigan for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to and during the election
at the max Ob should have gotten out of Michigan is 10%
that would be 40% went to uncommitted, 4 people removed names simple math 40 divided 4 equals 10
tonyjc contin
if any candidate gets less than 15% of the vote they receive 0-ZERO delegates
its really simple
Instead of blogging…you guys need to be donating to eliminate her debt. She’s got a lot of it……40 million! So each of her 18 million voters need to donate at least 3 bucks……..LOL
Kim,
Okay. .. but Hillary agreed that the votes would not count. What if Obama were losing and then “won” because of Michigan and Florida? Would you want for the votes to count then? Also, both MI and FL had extremely low turnout even for a normal election year, what about the people who did not vote because they were told that it would not count.
Asian4Hillary
-Please tell me how the DNC overturned the will of the people. Obama had more pledged delegates.
keith, it sure seems that Harvard Law School didn’t teach you a thing.
Didn’t the DNC agree to consolidate both campain funds to support the chosen nominee????????
Please correct me if I am wrong-Don’t want to send the wrong info!
tonyaC
Get a grip. I am not on this site to argue with you. Get over yourself
As far as Hillary’s statements coming up on Saturday , I would caution anyone against feeling dejected or let down by her throwing her support behind Obama . Her judgment and political astuteness is exactly why we support her in the first place , and I am not going to start questioning her now .
I STRONGLY believe that she understands that she has to make nice right now and appear to fall in line because when the other shoe drops , and it WILL drop , and Obama is exposed by the Repubs , she will then be able to graciously and magnanimously step in and lead this Party – all the while smiling in the faces of the backstabbers who threw her to the lions .
SEE YOU IN DENVER AND REMEMBER P.U.M.A.
Never an Obamabot
Did Cheney run his campaign?
keith and tonyjc… are you lost? We know the Obama Camp Dictatorship DOES PAY YOU TO DO THIS, but why don’t you go and have some kool-aid with the other kiddies. We know where you stand… so go stand there.
gokim,
It is not simple.. . it is made up math. It is how you would want the vote to go. Had the DNC stuck by its gun/rules, FL and MI would not have counted at all! Instead, they gave Hillary more delegates and pushed by the total needed to win because of Hillary’s complaints.
Once again, would you have said if MI and FL put Obama over the top?
tonyjc contin~
and lets not forget that they blocked the revote in Florida & Michigan no matter how many different ways we tried to get it done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Hmm, that’s interesting. I just talked to a friend of mine here in PA. She’s a registered Republican voter. Interestingly enough, it appears from what she told me – the DNC/Obama campaign have started doing push polling into PA with a clear bent toward attacking John McCain on the Roe v Wade/Supreme Ct issue and the 100 years in Iraq issue.
She made me laugh though, because her answers to the question about who had the better health care plans, McCain or Obama, she answered Hillary! LOL!
All her answers were either McCain or Clinton on who she prefers on the questions asked. LOL!!
Keith, nice job on trying to bring this “vocal minority” back into the fold, as you put it. Attacking us really does nothing but stoke the fire. I wrote Howard Dean a cogent letter of concern seeking feedback that would restore my hope in our party system and its processes. What do you think will help those of us who are in disgust over what has been happening in the media and in our own party? Telling us we’re idiots is not really a good argument.
tonyjc
they gave him the whole of 40% for uncommitted (which is an established choice for pres nominee)and if that was not bad enough they stole 4 more of her delegates to boot
tonyjc
It’s Obama had done anything at any cost, unethically, immorally, to the point of punching Hillary supporters, blocking them out of polling places, tearing up signs, buying support, spewing vile, unspeakable words at she and her supporters. You have your nerve. Go away.
Okay everyone, we need to just ignore the Obama trolls. Obviously they have nothing better to do, so let them have their fun. We are not listening. We know the truth, and we don’t need to explain ourselves to anyone.
goandersen and rightchoice-Hillary08
I am not lost. . .I just choose not to live in a bubble. Why would I got to a pro-Obama site to find out what HRC supporters think. Instead of trying to convince me why you are right, you choose to stick your head in the sand. It is your choice.
Like I said, I honestly like to know about HRC supporters’ grievances. I believe that most (if not all) of her supporters are logical and intelligent so I am attempting to do this logically.
BTW: Hillary and Bill both went to an Ivy League law school.
Jame Carville and company raised the money for a Michigan REVOTE — 30 million dollars for the revote — Obama Camp refused! Don’t tell me you guys are the voice of “democracy”.
tonyjc
i would say count all votes 100% regardless of the outcome
I just joined up. I with you all the way. I sent my letter off to the DNC. Just last week they asked me to head up a chapter in my city. No more. I’m done with this corrupt party for good.
BO blocked the MI revote!!
tonyjc, are you from Florida or Michigan? Well, I was born and raised in the Sunshine State. We’ve been through h*** and back after what happened to Gore – and now this. The voters cannot help if the state broke the rules as to timing on the primary. The voters matter more than process and rules. Why couldn’t we have another opportunity to have our voices heard? It is outrageous to me, and I think it should be to you too. If the voters want Obama, okay, that is what our process is about. But a significant number of people want HRC. So, what is a Florida girl to do? Just say, oh well, them’s the breaks? I am half a person? Who cares? I’d really like to know what the numbers would be in Florida and Michigan if we tried it again.
tonyjc
if he would have won fair and square it would be a different story
not to mention the media bias & lets not even get into the sexism aspect of all this
You know, you won’t get in MY HEAD. Facts are facts and the fact is, Obama will NOT be elected. It is why we fought so hard for the right candidate… to WIN in November!
tonyjc….I have some answers for you.
1: How did he buy the superdelegates?
I seem to remember that when Hillary did have the “huge superdelegate lead” all you Obamabots were crying foul, saying that she was trying to buy the nomination. Looks to me like the same logic applies. So what do you think Obama promised them to come to his side? Hope? Dreams? Try cold hard cash and political connections. Sure, that’s change I can believe in.
2. How did he buy out the media?
Well, let’s see here. He capitalized on the 14 year long anti-Clinton media commercial by taking the same idiotic right-wing talking points and using them against her. How is it you can think that we, her supporters, are going to just forget it and move on? All of us who lived through the 1990’s were completely outraged by the miscarriage of consitutional responsibility that was on display throughout the Lewinsky scandal and all the other trumped-up nonsense the Republicans threw at the Clintons. For a member of our party to resort to the same tactics and to use the media bias to his advantage is the lowest of the low political trickery. Outside of that, he RAN POLITICAL ADS IN FLORIDA! But, I’m sure that’s okay because it was a national ad buy that no one on his campaign knew would be running in Florida. Give me a break. Oh, one more thing, have you even SEEN MS-Obama-BC? I’m sure their bias was purely based on the light and joy that is Barack Obama.
3. Why did the DNC pick Obama over Hillary?
Because of the disgusting discourse that you Obamaniacs have engaged in from the beginning of this campaign. Obamorons bullied the rest of the superdelegates into sitting on their endorsements until he was able to win all of the caucus states. By the way, CAUCUSES ARE NOT AT ALL DEMOCRATIC.
4. Why would we allow McCain to further Bush’s policies for 4 more years?
Although this is the prominent Obama talking point, I’m not convinced that the same man who was railroaded by the Republican establishment in 2000 is going to walk lockstep with them as president. Yes, on Iraq he hasn’t come as far as he needs to, but his plan is actually not much different than Obama proposes. You really need to get Mr. Obama to explain to you the difference between “protective forces” and combat forces. He plans to keep some sort of American presence there indefinitely. Do you think he plans to UNBUILD the 70+ bases we’ve built or are building in Iraq? Wake up!
5. Is our support of Hillary more important than Iraq, universal healthcare, etc.?
No, our support is just as important as all of these things. However, none of us have confidence that Obama can bring any of these things about. So, many of us feel that we’d rather have someone in the office with legitimate experience and a Democratic congress that won’t allow him to further damage our country. As opposed to the new guy whose learning curve could end up costing us everything!
Our grievances are completely legitimate. Your candidate and your campaign have been more divisive to the Democratic party than anything the Republicans could have ever done. I hope you’re happy that the Obamaphiles’ arrogance, disrespect, and complete idiocy will be the cause of 4 more years of Republican rule. Whether we vote McCain, which I can’t do, or just stay at home, which I will do.
gokimfrommichigan
Still ignoring my point. . .FL and MI should not have counted. HRC said it herself. Any gains that she got from those states were a concession from the DNC.
Also ignoring my question, what would happen if Barack had won the nomination by complaining about MI and FL. Would you guys be okay with that?
heysandy
I agree that those action would despicable if true. I just have not heard any such suggestions anywhere. Please send me links of news articles regarding such incidents.
Why are you HRC supporters so reluctant? Are your positions so weak that you resort to huddling up and talking among yourselves?
rightchoice-Hillary08, LOL, Yes, I think they are lost. They probably don’t even know it, Go figure. Let’s just leave them outside with their noses pressed against the window. It’s where they’re going to end up anyway. Go play somewhere else boys…
We need to stay focused on what we are here for…keep our movement’s momentum up. We need Hillary as our President! Let us all pray for miracle that she is the nominee. It really scares me to think of BO or McCain in the White House. However, I didn’t join puma to bash either of them…I want to show my support for Hillary! And show the DNC what a mistake they made.
Right on cdc in ok. Lets keep supporting Hillary and ignore the obama kids.
Dragonfly,
For what it’s worth, my venting is in no way directed towards those who write, as you put it very well, “a cogent letter of concern seeking feedback that would restore my hope in our party system and its processes.” That phrase suggests a willingness go forward in a thoughtful way, and I deeply believe that 17.5 million of Hillary’s 18 million feel this way — even those who, as I read your post to suggest you have, lost a not-insignificant degree of faith in the party during such a tumultuous process.
I only meant to address those who will be writing wild-eyed, randomly capitalized letters to Dean and company stating that they’re leaving the party and voting for McCain — not interrogatory letters like yours (“tell me how to feel better about this, because I’m hurt by this process and I really want to know”), but declarative ones (“I’m voting for either Clinton or McCain, so take that”).
My apologies for lumping those that may feel disenfranchised but want to heal with those who are simply driven by sour grapes.
If you are supporting BO why are you here???? I’m sorry but this website was not established for BO supporters. I don’t think?!
Keith,
Thank you for your long drivel, I don’t care if you graduated from Harvard and make 6 figures salary, that don’t mean anything to me. Let me say this, and let me put it bluntly, I’m John McCain supporter now; I left the Democratic Party officially yesterday after a lengthy conversation with Chairman of the Democratic Party in my city. I was a foot soldier for the Democratic Party for many years, I’ve registered new voters, knock on doors to campaign for Democratic candidates. My stint for the party is over. McCain is the second best thing, I’m American first. There are more of us moderate democrats than ultra liberals and elite. Obama will loss in general election if he’s the nominee after convention. It would take another 20 odd years for the Democratic Party to recover. From Carter administration in the 70’s, the next Democratic President was Bill Clinton (1992 and 1996).
mrshannonmartin your great!
EXXXXCCCUSE me, Florida and Michigan SHOULD and MUST be counted. Those elections were legal and valid. It was the DNC that violated their own rules about seating the delegation and counting the votes. I am a Florida resident, I KNOW what happened. I thought this site was about our core values and supporting Hillary, and working to defeat the DNC, not just another site that trolls can deride us.
What does where they went to school have to do with anything? I don’t recall anyone giving a damn about our real concerns with B.O. before. I won’t vote for him. Label away. He rode in on a huge wave of sexism and sat silent. It’s a protest vote. The more you say it’s “spite” the more you miss the entire point. Right now as the DNC has abandoned it’s principles and mine I cannot reward them for this heinous behavior with a vote for them.
The mantra oft repeated “their policies are 90 percent the same” Really? Would that be because he is pulling an Alice Palmer on her and stealing all her policies as his own? Are we to sit back and let him take all the credit like good little dem girls. I won’t go to the back of Obama’s bus. Get it? Not this time. Now I waited for you, your candidate or this party to speak out and you sat silent and used hatred of my entire gender to your advantage. “Bros before Hos” anyone???
You are surprised I am voting against that? Give me a break and no I won’t look at the “bigger” picture from your perspective. I’ll work on issues from outside this party but, not from within it any longer.
Popular vote? Oh so important in 2000 now doesn’t matter. Cheating at caucuses? Okay. This whole thing stinks to high heaven. Support that?? No thanks.
tonyjc one more thing on your extremely low turnout
opps wrong again Michigan had almost 2 &1/2 times the voters in this primary then we did in the 2004 general election
and Florida had a record turnout as well
you gotta be drinking too much kool~aide and watching too much MSM bias BULLS—!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
your on the wrong site buddy go back home
tonyjc
Go do some reading on this website. When you are finished, there are many others where you can find the truth about your candidate:
http://www.audacityofhypocrisy.com/
As with all the rest of the supporters I have sent my letter to Howard Dean. Hillary Clinton has 18 million supporters and that is a huge voice. Thank you for this blog and let’s make noise.
Mac
Below are answers to tonyjc, as requested by KarlaforHillary, in non-book format, but with enough information for him to pursue this elsewhere:
Obama outspent Hillary multiple times over, further perpetuating a money race… and if he drew some contributions (though its noteworthy that its not the majority amount) from individuals then that is only worse given his disproportionate support among the richer segments. In other words, Hillary supporters just do not have that kind of cash (even if we are speaking here of $2000). But its not a matter of what Obama did (including the “you are nice enough” pat), but what his paid and unpaid supporters have done and how they have done it. The fix for the role of money in our elections is to take the money out, not to make everyone pay!
The DNC has to seat and count all FL and MI votes. I find the smug repetition of the line “you cannot change the rules in the middle of a game” self-serving and silly. To begin with, this is not a “game”! And as liberals/progressives/leftists/Dems (whatever you call yourself) we should know, more than anyone else, that rules are often unfair, and what matters is fairness, not strict adherence to unfair rules. Consider this especially in light of the fact that Florida Democrats had no say in the matter given the ruling GOP decision on primary dates.
The DNC and the party heavies picked Barack over Hillary because of their personal animosity towards the Clintons. I have no affinity for them either (for I remember who signed Welfare-to-Workfare, Immigration reform, etc into law), but the bias is obvious even to me.
Is support for Hillary more important than some of the liberal causes you list? Example: the right to choose. Well some of them are not going to be overturned by McCain (despite his pandering to the base) — the right to choose, and some of them aren’t going to change whether its Obama, Hillary or McCain — example, healthcare. So, it is not an issue of letting McCain continue 4 more years of Bush — let us not forget that the last two years of Bush have occured under Dem watch (majorities in both houses, but it seems impeachment is reserved only for blowjobs), but at this stage, one of contesting the sexism and disenfranchisement that contribute to the current state of affairs.
Regarding pledged delegates: remember his was the campaign that yelled the loudest about the voice of the people, until it seemed that the popular vote could go either way, after which Richardson and Co took a more nuanced position on what the “voice of the people” meant i.e., delegate counts, not the direct voice as expressed in the popular vote.
Keith… you are wasting your “Eloquent” bulls__t on here…
However, I am impressed that your arrogance is so greatly surpassed by the stupidity of thinking it is actually impressive.
tonyjc
ummmmm geezzz i did answer your question~ I would suggest you scroll backwards till you find the answer
obviously the posts are going to fast for you to read them.. slowly now put down the kool~aide and reread all the posts till you find you answer~~~~~~~~~~~
gokimfrommichigan… LOL… LOL… LOL…LOL… I needed that laugh!
rightchoice-Hillary08
Actually, the MI assembly/senate voted it down. Also, what makes you guys believe that Hillary would have won more delegates had there been a revote?
Dragonfly
I understand your grievance but it was your legislator who choose to move up the primaries, not the DNC. The DNC had to do something or else every state would be jumping to the front.
Kim,
Why are votes for Hillary more legitimate than those voting for Obama?
I am sure there was sexism/media bias but there was also racism against Obama
mrshannonmartin
1. She did have a huge superdelegate lead until very recently when Obama’s pledge delegate count put him over the majority. Your point does not really show how Obama bought the superdelegates.. . just inneundos and suggestions.
2. Okay. . .assuming there is media bias against HRC, how is that Obama’s fault? Also, the media did not do Obama any favors after he became the front runner. Please give me examples of how Obama used right-wing tactics against HRC.
3. What???? HRC had a huge superdelegate lead prior to Super Tuesday. How did I do anything to hold up any superdelegates from declaring. All indications are that most of the superdelegates held their votes so that they would not undercut Hillary.
4. Okay. . so you are more trusting more McCain. . fine. . .just not my choice to trust, considering he has given up every moral just so he can run for prez. Heck he is against his own campaign finance bill.
5. So you want more of the same gridlock. . .a GOP pres blaming Congress and the Congress blaming the Pres. Sorry, not for me. Also, you understand that the next pres will likely pick 2 to 3 supreme court candidates.
Keith, all I have to say to you is that you are a Harvard bred nitwit with absolutely NO common sense and show the character of a lowly slug. The Democratic Party is a false Party now, they stood and do stand for nothing. They clearly have no principles or a platform even remotely close to what they espouse. Diversity, inclusiveness – nowhere to be seen. They are clearly bent on taking the Party as far left as possible, to the point where it’s beginning to smell of socialism. And if you and your ilk would like to contend that you do not need the hard working and true red, white, and blue Americans or every age, gender, religion, class, ethnicity, and culture that made this country what it is, and who will indeed fight for what we believe in, then the so-called Party of the people MUST and WILL fall. And form the ashes a new and improved Party will prevail. Face it, my elitist minded friend, we will RISE. Our forefathers (and mothers) fought such tyrany over 200 yeasr ago and so shall we. We are The People.

There always comes a time in every person’s life when they are forced to take a serious stand on principle. This is my time.
I thought this site was going to be for HRC supporters mainly. All of this back and forth with the bots is not productive and a BIG WASTE OF TIME.
It is astonishing how the American people have been completely hoodwinked by popular media. When CNN says that Barack is winning and Hillary is losing, we take it as fact. The DNC, in cooperation with mass media outlets, have affectively pushed Senator Clinton out of this campaign. Isn’t this type of deceit and coercion the reason why the current administration is so unpopular? If this is Obama’s idea of change, I am going to start looking for property in Canada.
Long live Hillary and may God have mercy on the Democrats.
I LOVE it when the Kool Aide Kids threaten us with the overturn of Roe v Wade if we don’t support BO !!! It shows exactly how little they know about their own candidates political stances !!! Just to enlighten you Trolls , your supreme leader compares abortion to ‘infanticide ‘ . Do your homework , and come back later .
To: Tonyjc What this FL Democrat would have liked Rep. Wexler, Sen. Obama’s speaker at the RBC meeting to do, would have been to say he would gladly accept a ruling for all FL elected delegates to be seated with 100% of their votes, at the convention. Although Wexler tried as hard as he could not to say it in order to cover up that he was manipulating an Obama win, he was finally forced to state clearly that he would only support the compromise proposal of 50% voting power for the FL delegates. By this manipulation, (a manipulation because it altered the results of Florida voters), and manipulation of MI votes (4 delegates were taken from Hillary, and Obama received ALL votes for ‘uncommitted’, many of which were actually cast for Edwards, Biden, and others), Obama kept the gain for Hillary down to 24 delegates. Actually, delegates for candidates who drop out of the race are supposed to be able to decide FOR THEMSELVES whom they will support. That is why this was manipulation. Further, I don’t believe it is constitutional to take elected delegates away from one candidate, Hillary Clinton, and give them to another candidate, Barack Obama.
As is usual for the DNC, they had already given an extra boost of delegates to the more liberal candidate through the extra delegates assigned to urban areas. Do you remember how often during the primary elections, reporters would say that even though Hillary won by a big margin, she may not get much more than 1 or 2 delegates more than Obama, because more delegates are assigned to urban areas? It happened fairly often on CNN’s coverage. One of my brilliant friends explained to me that urban area voters usually are more liberal. So, by weighting the delegate assignment toward urban areas, they have weighted the chances of nominating the more liberal candidate. I don’t know how many extra delegates Obama received through this process (which our courts have decleared legal), but I believe the number of these extra delegates was sizeable. The Democrats have lost the Presidency in most recent decades. Most ultra-liberals tend to have a more theoretical, rather than a more practical, frame of mind. More practical people come across as more firm, stronger leaders. The Democrats have lost most of the last few decades Presidential elections, I believe, because the Democratic candidates do not measure up to the credibility of firmer, stronger Republican candidates. Our people want a strong commander-in-chief in preference to a professor-type. There is a place for professors, and there is a place for Generals. With all her Democratic ideals, Hillary also has the endorsements of over 30 retired generals and admirals. She has the flexibility to negotiate, which she prefers, or to speak bluntly and clearly to bullys who unfortunately threaten other nations. The American public knows that quick, blunt, clear responses to bullies often prevents, or stops, a war. Our leader needs to have the judgment to know when negotiation is appropriate and may be helpful, and when to speak bluntly, no negotiation. This is the middle way, and Hillary has it. So that’s why I, for one, am not for Obama, and do not think he is electable.
Keith, who is full of Harvard New York yuppie pride, characterises blog posts as grammatically inept, while offering this gem of a sentence:
It seems Harvard needs to start admitting more women, especially now that Summers and his sexist hindside have been ejected!
Joined today, sent the Dean email today.
Feeling good, Bill Ray.
I can’t believe the Obama apologists and supporters found this site already and are littering it with their desperate drivel. We’re gone, kids, and we aren’t coming back.
It’s wonderful to be here, it’s certainly a thrill.
Is there a mechanism to have trolls banished?
I thought about changing my moniker to
Jane Crow. My husband is Jim Crow.
Hello, America, we are now half a person.
Donna Brazile had said that if 795 SuperDelegates
determined the nominee that she would quit the
Democratic Party. A friend got a response of “NOPE.”
to the email question of, “Donna, are you going to quit the Democratic Party, like you said you would do, since the SuperDelegates will determine the nominee. What a hypocrit that pretend to be Hillary’s supporter while being an Obama supporter. She alone did Hillary great harm; she is evil and she must be destroyed [to quote the sitcom].
Moderator, please expel tonyjc from this website and do not post her comments.
Fair point, ravi. That should read:
One may fashion herself as a candidate of the people, but both Hillary and Bill are so deeply in tune with the traditional channels of influence (educated, moneyed urban dwellers) that the former almost certainly would trade supporter groups with Obama.
Less of a grammar mistake than an omission, but sloppy nonetheless.
Geeeez, this hot blogity do dog spot is fly’in.
Love it all!
Rocket on dog!!!!!
As a strong supporter of Senator Clinton, I reject this offensive notion that is bandying around the internet that Hillary is a victim, a dupe, a helpless damsel who was screwed by the big bad men in the Democratic Party.
It’s disgusting and, more importantly, wrong. Hillary is strong. Hillary is powerful. Hillary made choices and many of those choices turned out to be wrong. She is not a victim. I can guarantee you she does not think of herself as a victim, and neither should anyone who claims to support her.
Hillary is not going to be president, and from we’re hearing, she doesn’t want to be Vice President. The word is that she is negotiating with Pelosi and Obama to have her House supporters shielded and promoted to positions of power, and with Reid and Durbin to possibly become majority whip.
We’ve even heard that Hillary is negotiating with Senator Obama about being his first nominee for Supreme Court justice, which I think would be an outstanding position for someone of her intellect and passion.
Leaving the party without Hillary’s prompting UNDERMINES her position, UNDERMINES her power, leaves her DEFENSELESS and irrelevant.
Anyone who claims to support Hillary as I do, because she is strong and transformative, and not because it’s fashionable, will listen to her appeals in the coming weeks before making rash and selfish decisions.
Dear Keith,
Another Harvard laywer – just what the world needs. How exciting for you that you make a nice salary – you will need the funds if Obama becomes President. I can see why the Democrats have lost the past two presidential elections since they are “courting” voters like you. We are so sorry that 18 million ignorant and uneducated trash like ourselves will never let you “highly educated, sophisticated” youngsters tell us how to think.
HILLARY!
HILLARY!
HILLARY!
HILLARY!
HILLARY!
Well, everyone, I have to go and pick up my kids from school now. I hope that while I am gone, the Obamabots leave and go do their little happy dance. They may as well do it now because they won’t be doing it for long.
Short Termer , I soooooo agree with you . My disappointment in Donna Brazile has probably been one of the hardest pills to swallow during this whole process . When she said her ‘momma’ told her that changing the rules is cheating , I thought ‘what the hell kind of games were you playing that it WASN”T cheating to give someone points who wasn’t even in the game ?” !!! Very sad
Counting MI and FL is self-serving. Hillary started the chant after she was losing. Why did she not do this in the beginning? Same reason as everyone else, no one wanted to alienate Iowa and NH.
goanderson
you are right~~~~but i did need to vent~~~~
now I feel much better and had a real good laugh to boot~~~~time to ignore the trolls, if we ignore them and not answer them they will eventually go away
hey gang!
i am here and demand we are all heard!!! this is great to have this site. all of these great minds together will continue to make change! i sent my millionth letter to howard dean. the DNC is going to have a rude awakening when all of us do not back “their” chosen one.
I’m convinced the only reason why there are Obamabots here is that they’ve finally realized that their polarizing and divisive leader CANNOT be elected without our help! However, they need to realize that by continuing along the path of demonizing the Clinton’s they are only digging themselves a deeper hole.
tonyjc…….You don’t want to see the truth, so you never will. Congratulations, you’ve been successfully brainwashed!
Obama gave super-delegates over 760,000 as of 6 months ago, compared to Hillary’s 230,000. That was 6 months ago?
I’ll find the link to those orgs that tracked it.
I am a black man, and I can say without a trace of doubt, that the Obama campaign played the race card early and often, but was never called on it because the media was far too busy parsing every word Bill Clinton uttered, looking for so-called “racial undertones”.
—————————
Welcome brother!!
I’m African American too – and I am sickened to see most Obama supporters, the DNC and the scumy media steal and cheat for Obama in this primary.
They blatantly lied about the Clintons – calling them racists and all of this ignorant mess. As much as I wanted to support an African American for the POTUS, Obama is not the one.
One more thing. For the PUMA initiative to succeed, MILLIONS of Americans have to join, and e-mail the DNC. What is the best way to get all these Hillary supporters involved? We need to think about how to do this, and we may need to get organized so we can be systematic, and reach ALL the blogs, etc, that we need to contact? If you agree, please comment. I am not very computer literate, and do no have the information to do this: for example, a list of blogs, how often they should be contacted, list of other contacts, etc. etc. etc., sign-up sheets for making contacts, more…. Thanks.
So….now, the adults get to talk……
We need ideas!! We need to make a statement and we need to make it NOW.
Personally, I will be writing Hillary Clinton in as my vote for president in the fall. How exciting would it be if we were to make history by electing a write-in candidate for the first time!!
Let me ask all your HRC supporters a questions,
What if the situation was reversed and HRC won in the same fashion that Obama did. Winning caucus states, overspending Obama, and staying close in the big states? Would her nomination be any less legitimate?
On the Roe v. Wade issue, McCain has already stated that he would be electing justices in lines of Scalia.
It is interesting to me that most HRC supporters will not admit that they are voting for her. . .not her principles. Go compare Obama’s stands with those of Hillary, they are nearly identical. The calls to go to McCain clearly shows that the support goes with the candidate, not the issues that she is fighting for.
Make sure to check on your States rules regarding write in candidates – they vary .
I shall return have to pick up the grandbabies~~
But we do need a plan because write in will not get HILLARY elected it will get NOBAMA elected and we dont need that period
Hey everybody… stop interacting with this PAID blogger… “tinyjc”
I too have sent Howard the Coward [Coward was my term for him that was used by the MSM] the email.
And I should have changed my moniker to goShortTermer, oh well, you know what I mean.
So, what is our plan of action?
Tonyjc, it does not matter much what HRC said about FL and MI. We should argue on the basis of universals, not ad hoc rules or individual utterances. Given that FL democrats had no say on the date of their primary, what do your moral universals compel you to hold with regard to their votes?
Regarding the post from Keith from Harvard: I believe he is somewhat correct. Highly-educated urban young elites are (and have been, perhaps for about 10-20 years) the base of the Democratic party. This is not to agree entirely with Frank’s claim in What’s the Matter with Kansas (the statistics are ambiguous but they do not point to a large scale flight of working class whites from the Democratic party). Rather, it is the voice and concerns of this segment that has dominated the party, much less than that of Labour or other constituencies, including black people (who are taken for granted). But contrary to Keith’s conclusion, this thin segment support is the cause of the party’s reduction to the status of a secondary (some feel-good environmentalism, tepid opposition to miltarism, and gentler attacks on the welfare state) and reactionary (capable of winning, such as in 2006, only as a result of massive errors on the part of the Republicans) party.
Do NOT FEED THE TROLLS ANY LONGER !!!
Go HILLARY !
mrshannonmartin, That is exactly what I’m thinking. I read somewhere else that there is a woman’s group that has attorney’s going to every state to make sure Hillary’s ‘write in votes’ count. Anyone else hear this? I’m writing her in too. Unless the DNC does the right thing and makes her the candidate. Either way she gets my vote…
I told you the plan: listen to Hillary.
JUST SENT THE LETTER TO DEANDONG!
HILLARY IN NOVEMBER!!!!!
People! We seems like sore losers! We lost pledged delegates! I remember when everyone was up in arms saying that Super Delegates were (gasp!) thinking about voting for anyone who lost pledged delegates..and, unless you count ZERO for BO (is that realistic) in Michigan, we lost popular as well. Let’s get over it and move on. Hillary has! Let’s follow her lead.
I’m a mother of 3 and we owe it to our children to not have GOP running things. Talk about McCain all you want, but he will be a figurehead just like G.W.B. Do you want more conservative justices on the supreme court? Do you want complete privitization of SS and Healthcare? More national debt for our children? Please, please, please. Look past your biases and do what is right for our children.
Also, I would like to know what you guys think would happen if Obama did get elected president?
I did not come here to garner votes for my candidate. It is a hopeless cause…I just want to understand why you guys have the stance the you have.
GO HILLARY !
ANewDay2008…..I knew I wasn’t alone, even if the MSM keeps saying I am. Don’t you get tired of being lumped together simply because we share the same skin color? I find the fact that Obama seems to think that the black vote is his birthright far more racist than anything they claim the Clinton’s have said! In fact, I applaud the Clinton’s (apparently misguided) notion that they had a chance to win the black vote simply on the basis of their merits and on their history of helping our community. Unfortunately, they were steamrolled by an unbelievably clever race-baiting campaign orchestrated by Obama.
I will NOT fit into the MSM’s box for black folks and I will not vote as they tell me to. I voted my conscience. I voted Hillary!
Thank you Amy and Ky. . .
I have no problems with counting Florida and Michigan. I just do not like HRC supporters to pretend that they are trying to be the more fair group. You guys and HRC would be opposing the counts if HRC was on the other side. It’s simple politics.
You got the right idea TexasTigress…Go Hillary
go hillary!
mrshannonmartin
I for one do not expect you to vote for Obama because he is black…just as I do not expect a woman to vote for Hillary because she is a woman.
One last note tonyjc… I won’t tell you my state, but I will tell you this… she WON here – when they said she would lose. We are a BIG STATE…
Guess what? I just heard that over 33,000 “democrats” have signed up to switch to independent in the last 14 hours to defeat your guy!
Anyone remember that line in Pretty Woman? “Big Mistake… Big… Huge!”
It’s just beginning!
Yeah, Amy, having been ignored I’m starting to wonder how many of the folks posting on this board are actually Hillary Clinton supporters. The real Hillary Clinton supporters I know and have talked to are anxious to support Hillary, not their own selfish whims. Very upsetting.
One final note for the day:
As my grandmother used to say, “They [Obamabots] don’t have sense enough to pour piss out of a thimble!”
They are so really really smart that they REALLY believe that Roe vs Wade matters or could be taken away. READ MY LIPS, you are barking up the wrong tree with that plank. Most of us are of an age that we DON’T and WON’T need abortions, and making it illegal only makes it more unsafe, so why would anyone want to make them more unsafe? And in case you are even more ignorant, almost all abortions can be prevented today, making them passe anyway. And, the greatest number of females needing abortions are the youth who are supposedly supporting Obama the rock star. So, put that in your pipe and smoke it.
rightchoice-hillary08
I can guess that you are in the same state as I am. Btw, it is not like any of the BIG states are not going Democratic in the fall. Just as Barack is not going to win Montana or Alabama in the fall.
Just because there are more of you does not mean that you are right.
Why does it matter what happened in FL and MI? Even if you gave Hillary ALL of the delegates from Michigan (including uncommitted), and the ones she got from FL, she’d still be behind in pledged delegates. How is it that this election was stolen from her?
You taught us that we don’t have to be “Right” to WIN!
Keith, I was not referring to your omission alone. Check once again your usage of “One may” at the start of your sentence and your shift of reference that follows. The sentence should read “She may …”. We all make mistakes of course and you could find many in my writings, if you spent the time to look.
Tonyjc: Neither McCain nor his appointees are going to eliminate Roe v Wade (though it is possible they may curtail it further — a possibility, if lesser one, with either HRC or Obama). But of the issues you listed, healthcare occupies one of the top spot for all Democrats, and I recommend Krugman’s analyses on the strong differences between Hillary’s and Obama’s plans, and Obama’s demonising of Hillary’s mandates (which are in fact what make her plan more universal and progressive than his) using right-wing terminology copied almost exactly from the Hillary attacks from the early 90s.
Sorry Folks,
Had to attend to other business for a bit. The trolls get out of hand when we turn our backs. They must be nervous about something.
Kim and others, sorry for the disturbance.
Pease don’t feed the Trolls guys. It’s counter productive , and I just read on hrc that a couple of really good bloggers aren’t coming back here because of all of the back and forth with the Trolls . We have to stay focused and remember , love the Trolls , Pat them on their little heads , but NEVER feed them .
It’s sad to see so many “democrats” feeling like they are entitled to have their candidate annointed. Barack Obama won, fair and square. Now you guys are saying you won’t support him. That’s sad but at this point it’s understandable but sad none the less. At the end of the day we are all democrats and must realize there is a larger picture. Our own wants and desires should not come at the expense of our children’s future.
I don’t want my son to be drafted into a war that should have never been waged. Oh yes, the draft will be reinstated to fight this war and the new one in Iraq. Enlistment numbers are too low to sustain a “voluntary” enrollements. I don’t want to continue on this road we’re on paying over 12 billion a month to China to pay for a war that should have never been fought. I want universal healthcare, new jobs; green jobs, and the end to this war.
None of this will happen under John McCentury McCain. We cannot allow this to happen.
OBAMA 08
——————————
These questions have already been answered over and over. I suspect that you already know the answers to these questions. But you and your ilk will probably just twist them into nothing more than the “bitter,” “sore loser” rantings of just a bunch of Clinton supporters.
Go back to the stealing, lying, vicious and mean Obama supporters in the Democratic party and celebrate – for now.
TexasTigress, thanks.
People, just ignore them. I will delete dumb comments as fast as I can.
Hi everyone,
Since the DNC is pushing Hillary to back Nobama, she should lay low and continue her job in the senate. Don’t take the VP. He’s going down in flames against McCain. McCain is a better speaker, wait until the Debates… he loses all the time!! Hillary all the way!!!
tonyjc…..I wasn’t talking to you…..go away
Amy and KYis4Hillary, you both need to wake up and realize that we are NOT sore losers. If you think this, you should probably go back to your Obama blog. Your candidate, your campaign, your supporters led us to this point. I understand that you think that we’re “selfish” for wanting our voices heard, but I submit that you are far more selfish for coming to this blog, which clearly states its intent, and expecting this to be a Democratic love-in then belittling the rest of us when it is not. Wake up, we are here, we are pissed, and we WILL be heard. If the DNC didn’t want this kind of fall-out, they should have managed the primaries better. With our help or not, Obama will NOT be the nominee. Have you really, truly analyzed all of the negatives that are coming out about him now? Have you noticed the way that the MSM has gradually started pulling back from their initial enthrallment with this guy? Seems that they also love McCain. Obama won’t have it so easy when the MSM isn’t providing him with 24 hour a day positive news stories. So far, McCain has been extremely effective in making the naive argument.
mrshannon: just ignore them. They want to rile us up.
tonyjc,
When you ask us to tell you about Roe V. Wade, it tells me something, you don’t know a damn thing sweetie. Roe V. Wade is left for the state to decide.
BE INFORMED, stop drinking koolaid, it addles your mind or whatever is left of it after consuming too much preservatives.
Villox: read the statistics at the RealClearPolitics page at the link I posted earlier. I thought the Dems were the party that called for the voice of the people to be heard? Hell, Obama and gang said that very thing before switching to just attacking superdelegates — i.e., they want some democracy, but not the whole thing. So superdelegates are bad because they are not representative, but the people themselves (i.e., the popular vote) is bad, because? And if you look at popular vote the way you suggest i.e., give all of her MI and FL votes to Hillary, then she wins the popular vote (though as I noted, if you give “Uncommitted” to Obama in MI, then he wins by a small margin).
Hungry ? Too Bad .
asian4hillary — just ignore them. They will go away.
I hear you TexasTigress! I agree! This is not what I joined up for! I came from HRC.com and thought I would try it here. We have got to stay focused on what is at hand here…and that is trying to make a stand against DNC.
Hello Sisters in support.
ystorey….you should have thought of that while you were trashing us throughout the primaries. Don’t worry, we didn’t forget.
Ramsey54, I am very concerned about your write in option. On other group sites, we have researched the options for write ins, and there are many states will will not allow a write in if the candidate was on a primary ballot, period.
Pretty much all the states have a deadline, some have passed or are about to, if I remember correctly, and they require numbers of signatures on petitions as well as fees ranging from hundreds to thousands. I know that in my state of Florida, more than 104,000 signatures were required. And there is a BUT. But, if certain electoral rich states are to be targeted, that might work. Say, like: OH, PA, MI, FL,NM, WV, you get the idea. Now, that I would vote for as a back up plan; it would take military precision to accomplish, though. But, then again, we know we have the right stuff.
Ravi: But the rules of the election clearly specified that this was not about popular vote, but about delegates. Obama AND Hillary both campaigned in states based on the strategy that delegates mattered, not popular votes.
It’s the same way with the electoral college. We may not like it, but those were the rules laid out at the beginning of the game. Why would we pick the nominee based on popular vote when those weren’t the rules? Obama AND Hillary would have campaigned differently if this was just about who got the most votes nationally.
If we keep this up (back and forth with the BO supporters) we are no better.
I have a message for TROLLS:
“Everyone has a right to be stupid,
some just abuse the privilege.”
Don’t abuse it, you’re exposing your brain, size of a pin head.
I just read that Hillary is making a deal to help her campaign debt go away. I support that and will donate to help her campaign debt be paid off. I admire her so much.
cdc in ok– I think the trolls got a memo. Traffic here is spiking.
I will vigilantly try to swat them away as soon as they pop up.
All — follow the advice cdc, just ignore them. I know it’s hard, but dont be baited. We’re too smart for that.
Am I the only person who still thinks that any discussion of OB being the nominee is irrelevant until after the convention ? AQ lot can happen between now and then , and suspending a campaign is not the same as ending one . My favorite USMC General , Chesty Puller said , ” We’re out manned , out gunned , they’re in front of us , behind us , and they have us flanked on both sides . They can’t get away from us now !!!” I am not even close to considering anyone but Hillary for President !
BTW, here is what Obama’s campaign has to say about the bunch of you. From the NYT:
What a charming guy!
So, the rift seems to run both ways!
Hi Christi…….welcome and we need your support. Just don’t fall into the trap of thinking that only “sisters” support Hillary. I am a fellow Hillary supporter, but I am also two things that the MSM has tried to tell you don’t exist in Hillaryland. 1. I’m a man. 2. I’m educated.
I would like to hear more about the write-in?
To all of you Obama supporters, Harvard educated or not, there are plenty of educated democrats out there who voted for Obama before they knew who he really was or his history as a typical, old-school, unscrupulous Chicago politician.
I count myself as one of those who fell for the rhetoric. And, I’m from one of those caucus states where on a Saturday morning, a few of the most activist Democrats gave glowing speeches about “change” and a “new direction” (anything but the Clintons), convincing a narrow majority to vote for a man we really knew nothing about, except the narrative he had so carefully crafted about himself – the “Obama myth.”
Since then, I “bitterly” regret my choice and will not be voting for this shallow, dishonest, unprincipled, opportunistic, racist, arrogant politician with little wisdom and even less humility. Do some internet searches – try Rezko Watch, Savagepolitics.com, noquarterusa.net, and hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com – to learn about the real Obama, not the MSM/DNC hand-picked, annointed “dream candidate.” Their nightmare is about to begin. Unity be damned.
Just ignore these Nobama people. They are lower than the slime on the bottom of a slug !! Just like CNN, Dean, Nancy Pelosi, and the rest of them……
Hi MrShannon. Cool. Thanks for welcoming me. I donated to Hillary’s campaign and tried to post messages but they never posted one. I am glad to be here.
Hi everyone. I am so proud to be a puma and it sure feels good.Ramsey54 you are right it’s the same way here in Nevada. We need to have Hillary as a Independent unless it’s to late. The DNC stole this election from her and i think Howard Dean and a few others should be forced to be removed from the Democratic Party
I do not think it is very nice to call people names. Are we not all wanting the same thing here? I guess I should read all the posts.
tonyjc
You are now implying I’m a liar. I’m not giving you any specifics. We’re not playing our hand. None of us is reluctant; our candidate runs rings around yours. There’s absolutley no comparison on the merits. Your positon is tiring, mute at this point, and disrespectful. True tp the nature of the Obama campaign. Please go away. We must concentrate on the future and security of the United States of America.
SHORT-TERMER AND RAMSEY54
I believe that the write-in strategy, in concert with other efforts could produce the desired effects. Can we get together a list of swing states that WILL allow write-ins, as well as the requirements. We can make this happen!!
TonyJC:
You asked: What if the situation was reversed and HRC won in the same fashion that Obama did. Winning caucus states, overspending Obama, and staying close in the big states? Would her nomination be any less legitimate?
Answer: Yes to your hypothetical. But it did not happen that way. What did happen – your boy wonder is a proven sleazy Chicago style politicion who’s very good at his game.
You asked: On the Roe v. Wade issue, McCain has already stated that he would be electing justices in lines of Scalia.
Answer: The Congress has to aprove all appointments to Supreme Court. McCain will likely only be in office for four years at his age. Not enough time to push through any “right wing” radical Justices.
You asked: It is interesting to me that most HRC supporters will not admit that they are voting for her. . .not her principles. Go compare Obama’s stands with those of Hillary, they are nearly identical. The calls to go to McCain clearly shows that the support goes with the candidate, not the issues that she is fighting for.
Answer: You answered yourself. Yes, many of us here are moderate dems, former moderate republicans, just plain moderates. We believe that a far left leaning Congress needs to be balanced with a moderate President. Senator McCain has a moderate record and a proven record of bipartisanship. He is a man of character, and integitry who believes in fiscal responsibility in governing. It will not be a hard vote for this moderate to cast come November.
—————
There always comes a time in every person’s life when they are forced to take a serious stand on principle. This is my time.
villox: See my comments to tonyjc regarding fairness and rules. To address your point about rules, the rules also included the superdelegate idea, but that did not stop the Obama camp (and supporters) from crying foul about the undemocratic nature of it all, and using such arguments to influence the party and ultimately the superdelegates themselves (who then repeated this line, “I have to honour the will of my voters”, as they switched their support).
Look, either it is a bare-knuckled brawl, using any and all possible tactics, in which case Obama did win. But that is far from the prophetic image cultivated by him and his handlers. Well then, if we really are talking about the second coming of Jesus and MLK rolled into one, then it is entirely relevant to raise issues of fairness as obtained from universal principles, not party rules.
And if you recognise that the electoral college is unfair, and this is similar to that, then it seems the argument is already at end! The posts here or elsewhere are not negotiations of the party apparatus that determines the nominee. The intent of the posts, unstated but obvious, is to question the event(s) in the broadest scope.
Wow, so much vitriol here. Why?
???
Maybe I need to find a real site to talk with other HRC supporters. Who here is a real HRC supporter and will follow her where she goes?
christi4hillary
I am here to show my support for her. Let me know if find another site.
Let’s stop being negative.
mrshannonmartin on 06.05.08 at 1:04 pm
We love you oh wise MAN!!!
My apologies Admin. Lets go back to the real issue at hand Senator Hillary Clinton. We all know the Democratic National Committee have already SELECTED Obama even BEFORE the first vote for primary were cast. The DNC feel they owe it to AA to have a black candidate for Presidential election. If Obama win or lose doesn’t matter to the DNC, what is most important to them is to fulfill their promise to AA they’ll have a candidate for AA voters all over the US that has been supporting the Democratic Party for a number of years. This primary election is all about race, it has nothing to do with the will of the people. I would support a black candidate for Presidential election if it has the bearing of General Colin Powell. I want someone I can trust and respect. I trust and respect Hillary to lead this country because of her experience and track record; she always put welfare of the people forefront. My trust and respect is non-negotiable nor it is transferrable whoever the DNC choose, it MUST be earned. This presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party has not earned it, in fact I am very wary of him to the point I left the party.
Yes, I wanted to find a site to show support for HRC too.
christi,
assuming you know this site already, but the confluence is a great place for HRC supporters.
back to swatting!
Folks, dont respond to them. It’s an infestation. They’ll go away if we ignore them.
Christi, I think the vitriol here is being caused by the Obama supporters who seem to be trying to hijack our discussion. If you leave, that means it’s working.
EVERYONE:
PLEASE IGNORE THE OBAMABOTS, BY ARGUING WITH THEM, WE MAY LOSE SOME VALUABLE SUPPORTERS! WE’RE PAST THE DEBATE THEY WANT TO HAVE, WE HAVE TO FIGURE OUT OUR NEXT ACTION ON OUR OWN TERMS!!
Until the convention , there IS no Nominee . Right now , we need concentrate our efforts in the same manner we have been – by Blogging , writing to the Super Delegates , Voting in online poles , signing petitions , donating etc. Don’t forget to write to Howard Dean ! This isn’t over and I am not considering any other candidate until AFTER the convention .
I sent Howard greeting from this KC Puma. I wish I could have embedded the Tom Petty tune “Won’t Back Down”.
Well I wont back down, no I wont back down
You can stand me up at the gates of hell
But I wont back down
Amen. mrshannonmartin!
Christi, a Hillary supporter can cut it!
TonyJC, I respectfully disagree with you. We have one Justice hanging on right now waiting for a Democrat to be elected in November. John Paul Stevens was appointed by Ford and is the one who has stopped roe v wade from being overturned. He is ready to retire and is just waiting for January.
ginainkc , YES !!! lol I love it !
I think part of the issue is that a cultural shift has occurred since the development of the party system. We question authority now. It is not enough to say, if you are in the Democratic party, you must do what the party bosses say. As Asian4Hillary said, trust and respect must be earned.
Admin: You can keep trying to delete me all you want but wordpress just allows me to re-register. How about having an open discussion instead of censorship?
please ignore villox.
I jumped the gun the other night as i was so upset with the DNC i wrote a letter to Howard Dean and to Nancy Palosi. I was not very polite either. But i wrote it with class. I was in a blog on aol and a young gentleman told me to come here as it was useless to fight with the Obamacans. I have been writing letters and blogging for Hillary from day one and was with the Rapid Response Team for Hillary. I used to want to scream at the news media for how badly they treated her. So i stopped watching msnbc news months ago then it came time never to watch CNN. The only station i watch is the Fox News channel. Now does anyone have a answer to if Hillary can run as a Independent ??
I am a democrat first and foremost but I also support Hillary and whatever she tells me about the future. If she runs indy I will follow. If she tells me that Obama is the best choice I will believe her.
Sorry…but I have to draw the line there. I will vote for as an Independent but I will not vote for BO.
I will vote for Hillary as an Indenpendent.

This petition needs another 500 signatures
HRC is simply better vetted, better prepared and more experienced than Sen Obama. Sen Obama lost me last year when he endorsed Mayor Daley of Chicago, with the excuse that Daley was “cleaning things up”. LOL. Then he comes with his “change” rhetoric, when he really honestly is no such thing. He is an empty suit, in my opinion, who made all the right moves with the Chicago Dem machine.
Sen McCain has a proven record of being an independent thinker, and I’m convinced he will not pursue overturning Roe v Wade. He is the best choice versus his (present) opponent.
Asian4Hillary, I find several of your statements to be borderline offensive. As a black man, I cannot and will not vote for Obama. However, my dislike and distrust of him has nothing to do with the racial issues you mention. I don’t think that demonizing the African American community is the way to make our point. Further, I have to believe that since you have your race listed as a prominent part of your screenname, you’re predisposed to looking at things through a racial prism. This does an extreme disservice to the legitimate grievances we have with the DNC and the Obama campaign and makes it look like the only problem we have is that we’re racists. Obviously that is not true, but we do need to be aware of perceptions.
I believe Hillary HAS to tell us to support him in order to preserve her standing in the Party and be able to step up to the top of the ticket when he is exposed by the Republicans . I am not giving up on her no matter what she feels she has to say on Saturday .

Go Hillary!
It is ridiculous and sad to see to what extent HRC has been victimized in the electoral process. We can acknowledge that there might have been some mistakes during the campaign. I believe the 18 million will agree with me the forces of the other camp was unfortunately too destructive with their own feelings, ideas, and actions.
Hillary is kicked out of the race by some ill-intentioned individuals in the party, newcomers who are not knowledgeable about politics, a sector in the media, and those who manipulate them to vote otherwise. When I think of it, she is out of the race not because of what she planned on doing for the country as President, but for panoply of things that have nothing to do with being president.
I am sorry, if I had to choose between Hillary and Obama again, I would still pick her again. I never bought any of the negative things they threw at her. I know they have played a big role the outcome of the primaries and caucuses. Come on now! Was this American Idol? The show where the best doesn’t always win, but rather the most attractive (2005, 2007, and 2008 seasons were exception). I strongly feel people voted like they do for AI.
Before anyone starts putting some (feminist, racist, etc…) labels on me, I want them to know that I am a black man with even darker skin than Obama. I support Hillary because my judgment tells me she can get much more accomplished than her opponents. Even she might agree with me that Obama is more of an eloquent (well let’s say charismatic) speaker than she is. Frankly, she speaks formidably according to me. Unfortunately, it’s almost sound like a joke to me that people solely think it’s time to have a black president in the U.S. By the way nothing could have been more inspiring to me. But it would be meaningless to me if that person is about to preach words that could only propel them to the top.
One thing for us HillaryCrats to think about is the decision we will make in November. If we all switch to McCain they will blame Obama’s failure on us. If we stay at home, JM might still win, and they will blame it on us. Unless HRC run as independent, I would not vote for her as a VP (which would make Obama the GE winner). Do we care whether she runs as a Democrat or Independent? “Sorry! I do not know how this would work.” 18 million voices! That is not a joke. That’s twice the population of my country of birth (Don’t ask me). Anyways, let’s observe how bad they fail and let’s plan for 2012.
God bless America, God bless my country of birth, and God Hillary and the 18 million +
Siwo G.
Its not hard to ignore Obamacans like villox….now would someone please answer my question??? Is there any way that our girl can run Independent????
dont the OBama people understand that they are just making us angrier. How much is BO paying you?
the more and more I see then, the angrier I get. I might actually campaign for McCain if they get me angry enough.
mrshannon, I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments. I do think that Asian4Hillary is expressing a valid frustration with the race-baiting that has occured during this campaign — almost all of it from the Obama campaign and its supporters.
A cornerstone of our position is that we cannot be dismissed as racists or low-education. We are neither.
Our opposition to BO has nothing to do with his race.
When commenting, please consider your words and thoughts carefully.
MrShannon is correct. But I am still confused as to what reason MrShannon is not willing to follow HRC. Are we not supposed to be strong supporters of our gal. If she say’s he is the best candidate to help get health care is she not right? What about the war? She said she would get us out of the war. The economy. She was going to help to fix the economy like Bill did. Who else is going to help if they and we dont?
Dragonfly , thanks for putting something productive on here ! Signed the petition !
ginainkc-
I prefer the Johnny Cash version.
My oppostion to BO is not about race, please everyone do not make it about race.
Breaking….HRC releasing statement..not seeking Vp and no one except her and her alone speaks for her.
thank you for this great place to express our opinions and continue fighting for Hillary. I am Independent, and will never vote for Obama, although I have always voted Democrats. I still can’t believe the ungratefulness of the party towards Hillary, the blindness of the party towards Obama, the bashing of Hillary in the media without compassion. It is sad how people have forgotten everything President Clinton did for people. This alections are not American Idol, where a rock star wins the contest.
Obama is and will be a trend, his followers are the most disrespectful people I have ever seen. What has happened to the party? I intended to join the party and changed my mind after seeing what they are doing to Hillary.
I will vote for McCain because my vote won’t count towards the disastrous “change ” he will bring to this great country. I hope that this movement will open hearts and eyes.
Kiki, that makes no sense. Campaign for Hillary not McCain.
Sorry Admin. I just responded to Villox. I shall humbly ignore them from now on.
There is a law if you run on one party ticket in the primary you can not change parties that year and run under another party.
She can do it next year, except that is too late or in 4 years as a independent.
Is it too late to declare herself as an Independent Candidate? If it is too late, we should then think about it in 2012.
christi, that is great news!
Hillary gets better each and every day.
“no one speaks for me except me.”
I love it!
OScarp, please do not vote for McCain. I have children who could get drafted. Plus as a woman I really do not want to lose my reproductive rights. Stay home or vote for Nader or Ron Paul but not MCCAin.
Hi,
sent the letter, signed the petition. Just wish there was more to do. This wait until we hear what she acctually says, is just making me crazy.
This whole thing is making me crazy! It’s like an alternate universe, and I can’t understand why anyone, let alone party leaders are supporting this man. Last year, I just thought he was inexperienced, wanted him to be her VP, now I can’t believe all the stuff the MSM is hiding, that the people just don’t want to see.
What is up with that????
I sent this url out to the Clinton Supporters Count Too mailing list. The admin on that list suggested another site we might also want to check out:
http://www.newamericanindependent.com/
The more places we can express our views and build solidarity together, the better.
Murphy, thank you for taking the time and effort to put this site together so quickly and so beautifully.
GO PUMAS!
christi, although I just joined this site, I respect you just for the fair cause you are defending. If my vote for Ron Paul helps for Obama not win the presidency, I will.
I would vote for a camel if Ihave to, anyone who will prevent Obama from becoming president.
I believe in miracles, maybe we can get one this year and have Hillary as president. Our country deserves this.
this is also from the HRC website’s blog from Evy -
Please!
Remember- super delegates do not vote until August at the Convention. Contact the undecided super delegates today as well as the Clinton super delegates with your support for our Hillary!

OsCarp, Thank you. I do not care who you vote for or even write in Hillary but please do not vote for McCain. Ron Paul might be my choice.
Other than the rampant sexism I saw displayed, I want to say one more thing about why I really cannot vote Obama.
I think he did the A.A. community a HUGE dis service. People in this country deserved and needed the first A.A. candidate to be someone of great character! He didn’t care. He knew he was playing dirty, knew he had been party of leaving all those A.A. people in those apartments out in the cold, knew he was lying, and lying and lying and now he’s lead all these hopeful people down a very nasty garden path.
In all my life I’ve never seen anyone who ought to be more ashamed than Obama. Brazile should be ashamed for having the agenda to push him so hard for this party. She should have looked at his past and the dirty dealings and said “No, I want better than that for everyone who waited for a A.A. candidate” Instead they PICKED HIM ONLY for the fact that he gave a good speech and shoved him off on the A.A. community with a bunch of lies.
I think as hurt and abused as Hillary supporters feel out here, and I know I do as a woman we think what’ it’s going to feel like when all these people wake up and find that indeed they were “bamboozled” by the most disgusting ploy that has ever gone on in democratic politics.
And yes, they had to paint the Clintons of all people as racist to get away with this outrage. And the Obama supporters wonder why we are leaving the party? This whole thing stunk to high heaven from 2004 till today.
Does anyone know anything about former Congressman Bob Barr, who’s apparently running as the Libertarian?
If she can’t run as an independent this year, and considering that she may have to be loyal to the party to protect her current position and those of her allies, we can maybe elect her through the write in process – I think someone on this blog wanted to know more. Here’s what Sarge 02535 wrote on HRC’s blog last night:

As it stands right now:
-write-ins, would be a vote for Obama [unless it is PlanC combined with other components]
-Staying at home, would be a vote for Obama
-voting for McCain would be a double vote for Hillary
-voting for another candidate, would be a vote for Obama
-changing to Independent voting status en masse will scare the s&!t out of the DNC – and that is one of our main purposes – even if changing only until after the general election. This is our most effective and number one strategy.
-do all these things while having Hillary’s back going toward the convention in August – until we can say,
“Madam, President, you speak for me and I voted for you. To you I am not invisibile. Thank you.”
Time is of the essence and there should be a combination of assualts from all perimeters.
She does make me proud – She is not seeking VP – I demand that he ask her, but I do not want her to accept because she is POTUS material and not flunky material.
I too have a son whom I’m afraid would be drafted if McCain is president…I’m looking for another option.
ginainkc
I checked out the website you gave. Interesting!
Christi….I am completely willing to follow Hillary. However, as a thinking person, I recognize that whatever she says or does in the next few days will be filtered by her (understandable) wish to preserve her political standing.
Fortunately, I’m not running for anything so I don’t have to play by the Democratic Party rules. My disenchantment did not begin with this primary season. It actually began when the Democrats rolled over so easily for the Bush administration. As someone else here posted, I find it absolutely reprehensible that the Democratic party has not so much as had impeachment hearings against this criminal administration. I have been a registered independent since January 2007, when I realized that the win we produced for the Democrats in 2006 meant absolutely nothing.
Are the PUMA’s applying for official PAC status so you can start taking in donations??
Cat Power…….I absolutely agree!! Outstanding post!
PA4HILL08, check out http://www.ontheissues.org re: Bob Barr. I have found a lot of good stuff on that site and info on Barr is there.

Monsieur Murphy
ShortTermer and Dragonfly…..thanks so much for the very useful information. I personally think the one step that we can all take right now that will deliver the most “bang for our buck” would be to switch party affiliations, en masse. Can we all commit to registering Independent, immediately? This would send a very clear message to the DNC and would preserve all of our perogatives should we decide to vote Dem in the fall anyway.
Thank you for this blog
Thanks Murphy, I will donate to PUMA.
Shorttermer,
A vote for McCain is NOT a double vote for Hillary. You are wrong. She would never want me to vote for MCCain. I have followed her long enough to know this for a fact.

hi pa4hill08 glad your here
I want to sighn that petition where Hillary needed 500 more signatures and my puter froze up. GRRRR do you still have it i scrolled up and can’t find it.
cdc in ok,
I have two nephews right now in Baghdad, one is in Camp Anaconda, he’s a nurse. I only trust and respect Hillary and John McCain to do the right thing for Iraq. It is also the wishes of my two nephews I must support John McCain if Hillary is not the nominee for the Demoractic Party, I will deliver their wishes in November.
Okay, I’m here — Jay
Sent my letter to Dean and am ready go forward in solidarity.
What’s next?
I am still in shock over all of the injustice that has been served on a silver platter to Hillary and her 18 million voters inclucing me. I sent the letter to Howard Dean today and my change from democrat to independent is in the mail. BO is friends with terrorists, he doesn’t salute the flag, he doesn’t win the swing states, he doesn’t win the big states, there is a video of his wife saying stuff about “whitey” and he belonged to a church for 20 years that is anti-american. It should be a no brainer. I don’t even know how a person can become a senator with these credentials let alone a president. He is a novice senator too! Yet-the DNC and the media crown him their golden child and in the process give 4 more years to the republicans. I will never vote BO! HILLARY IS MY ONLY CANIDATE AND MY HERO!
PA4HILL08 I am the one at Hillary’s site who you told to join in.
I joined in early this morning.
Thank you I am urging others who are at the Greta Wire site to also come here and join in.

I am happy to switch parties. I have been a Dem forever, exactly how do I go about the switch?
I was listening to NPR today as they talked about Clinton supporters. McCain obviously sees it as an opportunity, and the woman from Emily’s list said Hillary would bring most of us back. I don’t know about you guys, but this is about the statement I intend to make to the Democratic party and to MSM. I absolutely will not vote for Obama.
pat Johnson, one of the mainstays at the confluence says,
“Latest tracking polls show Obama 46, McCain 42 with a 3 point margin of error. Not much of a bump for the Transcender is it? If these polls continue to show a slide in support over the summer will the party allow the “presumptive nominee” to carry the top of the ticket in November? Provided of course there are no more video surprises out there. Or Rezko revelations. Or Michele letting loose. Or another foreign affair policy gaffe.”
I’m willing to go Independent
Please does anyone have the link to the petition for 500 more signatures. I need to sign it.
Consider it done!
I think Stalin is the moderator of this site
I have a dumb question – what is meant by MSM?
main stream media?
I will go Independent but will Hillary go Independent i have asked this three times but no one answers me. Boo Hoo . Murhpy do you have the answer??
Hello. I will list this great site over at my blog.
The polls are cnn have them 1% apart. 46-45
Asian4Hillary
I hear you, but McCain just scares me alittle. I must say though BO scares me more.
Can we discuss the change in party affiliation idea? I think it really does have legs. By all switching to Independent, we could send a powerful message to the DNC and we would still have our prerogatives to vote for the Dem in November, if we so chose! Please, provide some thoughts on this!
Since it looks like Hil will not be President. Anyone here think Hillary should be Secretary of State? I have a feeling that she will be. She is tough and we need a tough woman to talk to the world for us. Please do not give up on Hillary.
Hillary, -
Please do not do a write in! It doesn’t stop Obama. I will NOT count against him at all.
Well if i can’t get answers to help Hillary what do you want me to do??? I need to keep her in the race she can not bail on us. I have spent at the least 48 hours a week trying to help her.
As she said, “no one speaks for her but her”. So let’s stop trying to divine her intentions here, and listen to what she says on Saturday.
Hillary – GO INDEPENDENT AND YOU WILL GET IT.
If you really love this country and love these people, just like you said – go independent!!!!
Why to stick with party that hates you? Look at campaign they there holding against you. Why?? Because you are stronger and much better candidate.
We can not afford to have Obama Husein as our next President. He is way TOO DANGEROUS for us. Look at his associations, look at his friends, their views and vision on americans, on white people. They are racists. Of course, you share views of your friends, and those are views she is sharing.
Please-please-please, don’t abandom us, go independent, and you will make a history!!!!!!
Asian4Hillary, I heard John McCain say he might have to start a draft. Don’t you think you should talk to your relatives about who they feel will help them out the most. My nephew is in Iraq and he wants to come home. He wants a college education. Hillary just voted for the GI bill to make that happen. John McCain said NO. Do you not want your cousins to get a college education for thier sacrifice for our country. Please do not vote for McCain. Anyone but him. Please Hillary tell us who will carry on your legacy.
like I said before I will follow HILLARY to the ends of the earth and do whatever I can to help~BUT I will NOT VOTE for NOBAMA in any way shape or form.
You all have to remember what she is doing right now~
1. She promised she would camapign her heart out for the nominee(NO ONE thought DNC would stoop this low)
2. she is following through on her word to that end
3. I respect her all the more for it even though it has to be the hardest thing in her life to do
4. It truely shows she has 100% integrity.
Now with all that said we need to get things moving and decide on a plan B & C if and only if in August a miracle does not happen! (we have till AUG 25th to change the minds of the supers)
I want HILLARY and no one else but if all else fails we all have to move en masse to a single destination if this is to work and we are to be heard!
they will blame Hillary regardless of the outcome (damned if you do~damned if you dont syndrome)
can we get a hold of any of Hill’s strategist’s to help us out here on the independent vote~as its not allowed in some states, (see repost on sarge’s info above)
Murphy, it is normal after heated primary, there’s a spike in the poll for presumptive nominee, after that it will start to change dramatically. With the kind of money he was spending in primary election he should be way ahead on polls, he isn’t.
DNC is hurting for money right now, They’re suppose to have 2 dozen parties for the convention, they now change it to one bash party.
WE, lifelong democrats, was the base of the party. It was our regular contribution to the DNC that shore up the party. The biggest support of Hillary came from lifelong democrats, her support also is broader and much deeper which the DNC ignore for obvious reason. Although majority of us already left the Democratic Party, we’ve made our voices HEARD because we were their LIFEBLOOD.
We are now the EMPOWERED INDEPENDENT VOTERS! We have Hillary to thank for, she gave us voice and taught us, real change comes from each and everyone of us, and act as one, we become a POWERFUL force to reckon!
Hello Hillary Supporters,
Both Obama camp and DNC are very well aware that Hillary is the winner and the right candidate. But they chose to cheat her and her supporters knowingly. They lack good ethics and values in life. So explaining them the facts is not going to make them change their decision or behavior. We don’t have to keep defending ourselves with facts. The whole world already knows the facts.
You can change a person who is unknowingly committing a mistake by educating him with facts. But you can’t change a person who is knowingly committing the mistake by explaining the facts because he has shown disregard for the facts to start with. In such a case making him aware of the consequences of his actions or punishing them may help sometimes. But again as we have seen during the past 2004 election, unfortunately there is little hope for change. But I sincerely hope something can be done this time.
The media is using the trick that if you repeat a lie 10 times, it will be accepted as truth. They are not going to stop doing that. Already they are saying Hillary’s supporters are supporting Obama. If they keep saying that for the next week continuously, eventually everyone will start to believe it. Public memory is unfortunately short. It would be interesting to see how some republicans, after rigging this primary will overcome the bloated Obama effect.
There should be someway to keep this issue alive by a legal action or something so that it stays in public mind and haunts DNC and Obama till the election time, so that people really vote for McCain if Hillary is not on ballot.
AP has stopped too low and broke all the rules and integrity of journalism. A total abuse of freedom and freedom of speech. There should be someway for general public to take a legal action against them. Hillary may not be able to do much because of her affiliation with the party, but her supporters could do something. Are there any legal experts who can give some thought to it and let the supporters know what we can do about it.
I meant, ” those are views, HE is sharing”.
sorry – misspelled.
I hope HRC does run independent……..BO will win for sure. He draws Dems, Reps, and Independents..I think it will come back to haunt HRC in the end. So go ahead and vote for McCain…..you’ll be writing her epitath in the democratic party for sure.
——————————-
You can’t kill what’s already dead. Like Obama’s presidential hopes.
The Democratic party killed their relationship with the Clintons a LONG time ago.
That party has also killed their relationships with almost 18 million supporters throughout the United States.
So you and the rest of the Obama spawn can go f— yourselves.
Have fun in November!
Also, have you seen how “Congressional Leaders” are beating the heck out of her for not speeding up her concession announcement because “they leave to go home tonight”. Ahhh, to bad… she planned the event on Saturday so more of her supporters can attend instead of them.
It is also a good chance she is going to suspend and hold on to her Delegates.
We need to send support to her for this decision (to hold on to her delegates until the convention!

Thx for that info. Include me in that 33,000. My letter is in the mail, I changed to independent.
My vote for McCain = protest vote against the media, DNC and sexism…
I also signed that petition for Hillary to stay in the race.
P.S this is the info this sites needs. I signed up today as a PUMA and the Obamabots are a turn off to this site.
Please Murfy, stay on top of it, we can’t lose HRC supporters. We need to share info and ideas here!
correction: I mean their cousin….LOL
Thank you so much i signed it and sent out a few e-mails to others to sign. Please tell me Hillary is not going to quit on us before i have a heart attack. I get my self so worked up . I love Hillary so much she is my sister and was treated so badly by the News Media and the DNC it all just makes me scream. I want Nancy Palosi and Howard Dean to be thrown out of the DNC along with a couple others. God Bless Hillary
Yes, I’ve noticed how HRC is being pressured to move quickly and be “enthusiastic.” Screw the party bosses! HRC is not a “good little girl.”
Suma,
I really like that idea.
Many lines have been crossed, both in the media and the DNC. There has to be some kind of recourse.
Maybe our first focus should be in recruiting legal talent?
There have to be many lawyers among us.
AP misreported.
MSNBC slander, defamation, misygony(okay, so I can’t spell it)
RBC – private meeting against the charter DNC rules
etc….
The news media is doing nothing but cutting down Hillary. She should leave the Democrats as Lieberman did, become Independent, and form the core of a new party. More converts will make it grow, and form a voting block need by both sides. We need a new party from Middle America. I really don’t know how she does it with the media being so hypercritical of her every move. Lieberman was forced to run as an Independent to keep his senate seat.
SumaForHillary
I agree with you totally. Besides, if we ignore them long enough, they will go away.

I will sign up at other sites for Hillary and i will always be back here. I am devoted to Hillary and will spend 8 hours a day for her. Even more if need be. I better stop getting so worked up as i have congested heart failure.
If i had a way to go to her house i would do that too.She neeeds us and we need her.

I am right with you. I am so stressed out and teary today, I just don’t know what to do with myself.

I have a 17 year old son as well and there is no way he is going off to war, hell, I never even let him play with water guns(serious pacifist here),but I still won’t vote Obama.

Thank you Murphy for this site and i will always be here and will do what ever you need for help.
To all you HRC bloggers. I wish I knew what all of your aliases are now. I know a couple of us kept ours the same, but some didn’t. Some gave their new ones at the HRC website, but some didn’t. Maybe everyone could post their new alias here or back at HRC???
Thank you, thank you to the creators of this site for bringing us this place. We really needed a place to grieve together for the apparent end of Hill’s 2008 Pres campaign and yet to share our hope that she can, with our ongoing support and efforts, somehow still pull this off. We need this strong woman as our President much more than she needs the position – that’s the fact. We’re all still in it to WIN it!
Fight on PUMAs!! Graaawl!
Ok will be back going to check out other Hillary sites .
Okay everyone, I have some interesting questions:
Have we noticed that HillaryClinton.com’s Splash Page hasn’t changed… it reads:
“Be one of 18 Million to Stand with Hillary”
then…
“Stand with Hillary today and send her your Message of Support”…
then…
“I’m with you Hillary and I’m proud of everything we are fighting for”
You know… other pacs and orgs are encouraging everyone to go there and send a message of support…
Could it be that her base is being gauged for the fight of her life at the convention???
Let’s not take it for granted and send everyone we know that link to keep on sending her our message of “Standing with her” and get the word out that “Hillary wants to HEAR FROM HER SUPPORTERS”.
Maybe, just maybe, there is more to this “delay” than we think!!!
I will not vote for Obama. This isn’t sour grapes, about race or hate. This is about the experience and character to govern. I have no more faith in the democrat party. The media and party bosses have manipulated and slanted the election toward Obama, someone with absolutely no record of governing.
He misses or abstains from voting(88% of the time!), so no voting record can be used against him. His associations with America-haters and anti-semites, have only proven a serious lack of judgement and worse, a marxist and socialist agenda.
The far, far left wingers and hate spouters have hijacked my party, so they can talk all they want about how we will ‘fall in line’ with the Dems in the fall, thats just not true. We’re not mindless zombies that will do as we are told by party bosses.
I am now a registered independent, working to elect John Mccain, a moderate.
Please work to defeat the incumbant Dems until we’ve cleaned house.
pa4hill08
My posts are not going through at hrc yours seem to, if you can keep reposting for our HILLFAMILY to come on over..
How about the HILLOCRAT party!!
Ignore the “baiters” who are coming here to bother us already. Why do they not just go back to their celebration of their so-called “victory”?
———————
Because they’re scared to death.
They know that this is the beginning of the end for Barack Obama.
What else can they do? The new Obama democratic party (*smirk*) doesn’t have the power to force, guilt or bully Hillary supporters into voting for Obama in November – though that hasn’t stopped the Obama brats from spewing their venom on Hillary and her supporters. And they can’t scrounge up enough new voters to replace the MASSES of (formerly) core Democratic voters that they threw away in the process.
What damn good was there in using a Republican caucus strategy to win states that will inevitably go to McCain in November – but throw away your basic, absolute MUST-WIN states? The idiots in the media keep stupidly bragging about that Obama move (because they secretly wanted McCain all along.) That’s like focusing all of your time and energy into saving someone else’s business – while your own business is headed for bankruptcy! The Obama clowns won the battle – but will LOSE the war.
When Hillary was ahead in the primaries early on, those same clowns were hollering “Obama or McCain!!” They had NO problems with John McCain then.
NOW look at ‘em – hollering, “McCain will keep our troops in Iraq!” “You not a real Democrat if you vote for McCain!”
Shut up.
Maybe you guys can help me out. I am depressed about this situation beyond belief. I feel like we are reliving the 2000 election all over again, then the severe depression again in 2004 when Bush won the first time. Now my hope and my hero has been stopped in her tracks because of the media – HOW HARD THEY HAVE BEEN ON HER… I still can hardly believe it. Now I am just afraid to hope for anything. Really. I don’t want Hill as a vise prez. I want her as MY PRESIDENT. If she can’t win, what woman can ever? And if she was the nominee, she WOULD WIN! It’s a no-brainer. Now it’s a big F’in mess. I want to just die.
Wait, I don’t know how to do the linky thing. Can someone explain it?
murphy,
How about a new thread?
Congratulations on your instant success with this!
HI! What a mess the DNC has made. Let’s face it, if you have 2 candidates who can come remotely close, the system is a disaster. Then add in the sexism and reverse racism and we have what we have today. I was HenryG on Hillary’s site but blogged all over under HankinPA so will use that here. I am hanging in there till the convention. I still think things are going to change!!!

anewday2008
we are not democrats anymore we are HILLOCRATS!!!!
I’m already an Independent – for many years now. I have never voted Republican, but this year looks like a good time to start.
I sent this to Hillary today after reading her statement that sounds like she will concede:
I am saddened to hear that you will concede. This is an acknowledgment of the fact that women don’t stand a chance for freedom and equality in this country. I am deeply saddened and I am ashamed of this nation for this reason.
As I have said time and time again, I will NOT rally with the Democratic Party as I cannot condone its behavior. I will NEVER support Obummer, as I deem him to be dishonest, arrogant, untrustworthy, selfish, deceitful, and basically a morally compromised person. I’ll take McCain over Obummer any day, even though McCain does not represent my core beliefs or values.
I understand that you think that you have to deliver on a promise, but in my opinion, your concession fails to deliver on the fight for women’s freedom and equality in this nation. Regardless, I still have the utmost respect for you. I ask that you respect my decision not to support the flawed Democratic candidate that is on the way to becoming the Democratic nominee. This is a travesty of epic proportions and I sincerely hope and pray that the Democratic nominee, should it be Obummer, fails in November. Should the nominee be Obummer, then will do what I can to see that McCain is elected in November. Please acknowledge that I will NOT change my mind.
Also please acknowledge that I will not be contributing any more funds for your campaign or for the Democratic Party.
tusconlynn, working on it!
If I’m repeating this, sorry: http://liberalrapture.com/#
Must read for pumas.
LISTEN EVERYONE… maybe HC.com is gauging voter support for a convention floor fight! This delay to “concede” has everyone puzzled?
Let’s flood emails, blogs, friends, family for everyone to go to HillaryClinton.com and send her the message from the Splash Page… emails from the Splash Screen on her site are better!
“Hillary… Take it to the Convention!”
Call her Headquarters… make our voices heard everywhere… they are
The More Support NOW… the more strength she has for deciding to take on that fight!
I cut my Dem. Voter reg. card in half today and sent it to dean CERTIFIED RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED. It’s great because they will have to sign for every single one that arrives CRRR. It costs less than $3 and the feeling is priceless. It’s very liberating and I highly recommend it. Send it along with your PUMA letter or alone, but make sure it’s CRRR.
Hi everyone, I knew this web site from Hillary’s blog. Hello hillaryclinton.com bloggers!

Now it’s a big F’in mess. I want to just die.
Please, to die is not an option. Hillary will still need your vote, hopefully in 2008, but if not, then 2012! Cheer up! In the grand scheme of things, this situation is just an incovenience, not a disaster. We still have hope. Let’s see what Hillary will say on Saturday. I still believe she’s a fighter.
count me in! i’m feeling down, but i guess there’s no time for that. not for long anyway. so thank you for this site. i’ll be checking in everyday, and try to help as much as i can. i’ve signed in my husband too, and sent his letter to howard dean. i have promised my husband we’ll be supporting mccain if it happens that bho would be the nominee. but i have not lost hope. so until the national convention will be over in august, i will keep my hope for hillary, and do whatever i can to help her rise again. my wish is for bho to self-destruct, the sooner the better. if the superdelegates shoo him in as the nominee this august, my husband and i will go independent and leave the dnc for good.
excuse me now, i have to send howard dean the letter.
Lou Dobbs has a poll on whether Hillary should go Independent
Go to http://loudobbs.tv.cnn.com/
Also please send Lou Dobbs an email regarding our support for Hillary
Thank you
Murphy,
Thank you very much for opening this for Hillary supporters. I have to go, will visit your site regulary. I have responsibilites I must attend right now, my phone hasn’t stop ringing the whole day. I have some explaining to do for first time voters I’ve registered to vote for Hillary; they wanted to have a meeting with me tonight. While Hillary talk to us volunteers, we volunteers have responsibilities for people we recruit to vote for her. Tomorrow is pay day, these people are asking if they still have to send money to Hillary’s campaign.
God bless you all, keep on fighting the good fight, this is not over until the convention is over! There’s still a gleam of hope she could be the nominee. Take care all
Hi All, I’ve posted an open thread above. This one might be getting kind of long for some.
Remember — dont feed the trolls. Swearing, expressing anger and frustration are always accepted here. But, we are the good guys. Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
If I want to respond directly to one of the posts, how do I do that? At the HRC site the comments appear right below?
Can someone help me with this site?
Just sent Howie (for whom I trudged the byways of IA IN THE WINTER and donated over $1000 to his primary campaign) an email. In the subject line: NOBAMA, signed my name and that of my spousal unit, Democrats for 35 years. No longer. Now members of PUMA.
Just got the USA today paper which states that Hillary is being Pressured. Why is she allowing them to pressure her?? Also, the media is lying again about Republican converts to Obama. I called the Republican headquarters in our highly democratic area, and was told that Hillary supporters are joining Mccains campaign in droves.
Thanks murphy!
another Tucson person yeah!
WOW! The Dem “Leaders” sorry… should be lower case… leaders… are fuming that she has delayed conceding (they’re going home tonight and won’t be back for her “Party” on Saturday)
They jerked her, pushed her, slammed her, turned their backs on her. She has worked relentlessly for them (raising money for their campaigns and the Party!)
You know… something is in the air??? She’s wanting to HEAR FROM US!
Do you remember two weeks ago when Jake Tapper reported her saying: “You don’t know how far I might jump until I’m bumped hard enough”?
Remember that?
okay, here’s the latest. Oprah is joining his team to bring the Clinton ladies on his side. She said she only came to one of his appearances during the General because she wanted him to get the nomination on his own! Media said EVERYONE looks up to Oprah…(not knowing who does that! I stopped watching her long ago) So, that’s the plan now…they said he doesn’t need Hillary. I can’t wait until Nov when McCain wins!
They are all in for a shock! Don’t stay home…VOTE MCCAIN…..
My Uncle is 81 years old and has NEVER voted Republican He’s been a life long Democrat. He’s voting for McCain, since he cannot vote for Obama in good conscience.
oh yeahhh like Oprah could swing my vote???…….eat my desert maybe but never swing my vote for her muslim boi.
If everyone looks up to Oprah, then why have her ratings drop since she came out to support Obama??
hi guys Murphy opened a new thread to post on,
just scroll up to recent posts and click on
calling all pumas!
you have to click under the recent posts not recent comments
TexasTigress… What “tape” is coming out? About what?
I e-mailed the letter to Howard Dean. Thanks.
I wonder who gave BO authority to be the “Leader of the Democratic Party” which the media are annoouncing. By what authority? the DNC’s?
Yet another insult. Not every single woman voting for Clinton is staying at home watching Oprah Winfrey and hanging on her every move.
I am a professional and I do NOT sit around watching Oprah or believing in her pontifications about what is good for me and not good for me. Good god, she was wrong about “The Secret” she was dead wrong about James Frey and she is over the top crazy when it comes to Obama. She needs to sit down and shut up for once and stop being so narcissistic as to even dream she could bring a single voter “woman” or otherwise back into the fold.
Basically. F.U. Oprah. As Madelene Albright said “There is a special place in hell for women who do not support other women.” That goes DOUBLE for you since you urged Hillary to run for president once right on your show and then back stabbed her so publicly.
wtg CP……..and yeah f*** oprah
Is there anything we could possibly do to change Hillary’s mind before Saturday???? But what’s really in her mind?
awwwww why we have to do the moderation thing …………..a few trolls spoil the whole thing eh?
Hey all you fierce pumas…
great community, even greater cause. I’ve already emailed HD at DNC–and did that feel good!
my state allows write ins for the November election–so I’m voting for Hillary. After reading this blog, I’ll change my party affiliation too.
can I now donate?
Hillary being VP would actually make me dislike her, it will properly damage her image and she will never be president. Be smart, fight now
How did B.O. cheat? I really, really don’t understand. The DNC made very bad decisions and should be fired. But they made those rules a year ago. How is this BO cheating? Please, please, help me.
Need help – an Obama supporter argues with me that Obama won more votes unless you count Michigan, where he wasn’t on the ballot. And that she agreed that Michigan wouldn’t count. Is that accurate?
okay, here’s the latest.
———————–
O – M – G……..
They ARE desperate. AND delusional.
What’s a troll? Please I’m new to blogging, I don’t know the slang
mrshannonmartin, Sorry I had to leave for awhile. I’m all in for switching parties. My partner is checking now. Hopefully by tomorrow we will be ex-democrats and new independents….I agree with you, I think switching parties has great possibilities. Any others out there?
I’m now a PUMA! Former, lifelong Democrat who has seen and had enough. Sent the letter to Howard Dean and it felt so good. Thank you.
I’m in NV and there is no write in option here, but a “none of the above.” I will have to see how I feel in Nov. but I will possibly vote Green.
Obama will be toast by Nov. Nevada will go overwhelmingly for McCain. The caucuses here in Northern Nevada were filled with Republicans out to stop Hillary. He will lose in an unprecedented landslide here.
I weep for my country, but the Democratic party has done this to itself and to us all.
Greefun:”How to change party affiliation”
Department of Motor Vehicles…at least in PA or at your county courthouse or download the form from the web. Google your county’s name and “voter registration mail application”. Then mail it to your county courthouse(addresses are listed on the form)-Real easy takes no more than 10 minutes to fill out.
Thanks for this website. It gives me hope that Hillary Clinton supporters and those who just believe in justice can have an impact despite the unthinkable conduct of the Democratic Party learders and the derelict press. I sent the letter to Howard Dean. I guess his mailbox is getting full.
Hillary is my President. Obama is just a trainee.
Sharon, Obama TOOK his OWN name off the ballot in Michigan! Hillary won Florida legitimately and they HALFED her delegates there, and in MICHIGAN they GAVE delegates like 55 or 59 to Obama he did NOT earn. HRC did NOT AGREE, her hands were tied! She has been made to feel like she is whining about this yet she DESERVED those votes! Funny, no votes of his got given to her, its as if they decided (DNC) exactly what formula would put him ahead the soonest! IT is a FARCE, a sham! WE have been BAMBOOZLED by Obama!
ANewDay2008:
Actually, I’m surprised she’s back b/c she lost tremendous ratings after her initial appearance and was out out sight until now-then again she ’s so wealthy she can afford to have lower ratings. The other female personality got all her ratings (Can’t recall her name-just her face). So she’s not an asset to win us over. I think we’ll see some desparation from the Obama camp to the point of ridicule and the second shoe will drop (Personally, I think it will come from Michelle).
MrShannonMartin:
Writing in HRC will only give the VOTE to Obama, they will not look at a write in vote, they will only count it under Democrat! The only message we can send is a POWERFUL ONE! Obama must LOSE this election! Sad as it might feel, he is more moderate, he is able to cross party lines he is not near as conservative as Bush and many call him a Demo in disguise! WE will not lose with McCain, but with Obama we will not only look like CHUMPS that were used beyond a cheap hooker capacity, but he or his “people” will never embrace HRC or her loyalists! I was appalled when I heard that Obama’s wife said NOOOOOO….to Clinton being his VP!
Murphy:
Thx…Much, much better! Are you getting any sleep?
Don’t need to post.
Hi everyone i went and checked out a couple more sites. I went to democrats-against-obama.org and i went to Emilyslist.org. But you realy have it going on here. I want to scream , i want to yell and i want our gal back. Hillary is the one to save this country. She was my hope and she felt like a sister to me. I have cried over what the news media has done to her and how the DNC stole from her. Geesh i need a tranquilizer
no surrender, HRC is only endorsing this NUT because she is UNDER the GUN to DO THAT! Deep down, she and Bill hope he fails miserably! LOOK how he, and his pastor Wright, and that other NUTCASE who claims to be a Catholic Priest (which he is NOT under the Vatican) smeared the Clintons publically! HAS anyone seen anybody I mean ANYBODY get away with doing or saying those things about George and Laura Bush? Its like the Clintons were treated like less than human! I for one am fed up! THE MEDIA is a DISGRACE, I wrote both CNN and GMA and told them they could all relish in Obama and his idiocy! THAT I was DONE with their programs! AND I mean IT!
Genevieve,
Thanks — that infestation really got out of hand fast!
No, not much sleep. But that’s fine — we really want to get Puma PAC off to a big start!
p.s. folks, feel free to comment on this thread (of course!), but there is an open thread above. just fyi.
I will be back in 20 minutes i need some sherbert and juice to make a drink i can’t eat i need to use a straw for another week. Pain in mouth and pain with DNC . Howard dean and Nancy Pelosi need to be kicked out of the DNC…..GRRRRRRRRRRRR sorry i am venting. It will passsss, sorry Murphy
OMG!! Oprah is going to tell us how to pick a president? How low can we go? She’s just an entertainer. She read the news in Baltimore for a few years and did a lightweight local talk show. The Democratic Party trashes the remarkable, brilliant, accomplished Hillary Clinton and expects us to take advice for an entertainer who spend all of her time on the front of tabloids. Is this another insult to the intelligence of women?
On the other hand, maybe Oprah can get Michelle to open up publicly about her views on race in America. That would really help the Obama campaign. Please do that, Oprah. Meanwhile, I’ll be praying that America wakes up and I’ll be donating to McCain.
Glad to finally be on this site.
How did this happen?!?! I was CONVINCED she was going to win. Sometimes I felt like Hillary was speaking DIRECTLY to me. Aside from my mother’s death last year, Hillary losing this campaign has to be the worst thing to ever happen to me. I just love her so much. I can’t imagine what she’s going through. I can’t believe how well she’s been holding it together. I’d be HYSTERICAL if I were her.
If the Democratic party crazy rules let BO win because of emotions. Who are they to tell us we the Hillary supporters cannot pick McCAin out of emotions as well.
rightchoice-hillary08……and others…..you may me laugh….you guys….are really neat…..that was so funny earlier ….SHARK BAITING……THE 1ST TIME I REALLY LAUGH since….may 30th
mrshannonmartin: I completely agree with you. Just about everyone I know has drunk the kool-aid. They can’t understand why I am not on board for racial unity. Of course I have seen through Obama for some time now. He is so full of himself and not qualified to be POTUS. I pray Hillary does not except the VP spot even if he offers (which he won’t). She is so much better than he deserves. I am completely disgusted at the way they have treated her, and I will not reward him underhanded Chicago campaigning with my vote.
Did you guys see he is not even nominated yet and he has already been annointed the new leader of the party? Are you kidding me? Why is the DNC throwing the Clintons under the bus? He is not the Messiah. He is just a fast talking politician. When I think of all the people who voted for him based on a good speech I am just sickened. They never bothered to really look at his record. All the fainting…just ridiculous. I will never pull a lever for him. Thank you so much for this blog!
Hi i;m back and have my strawberry drink and calming down. Did anyone hear what Hillary and Obamas meeting was about.
I can not accept her being anything for him. I will never vote for him.I am trying to be polite. But it’s hard because i do not trust him
The fainting was put on. Just like that one rally where they heard Michell say hey we need whites up here behind us.
I did here about the meeting. But only that they talked about “uniting” the party.
well lets hope something great happens and Hillary will be the next Oresident.
well thats balony Hillary needs to run as a Independent
Be back later and lets pray for our gal.
I think most of all what ticks me off is that he tries to paint himself as a different kind of politican and then act as if Hillary is the Anti-Christ. Burns me up that he is now praising Bill when he acted like Bill was a terrible President how didn’t do much. I don’t care if Hillary and Bill are politicians. How can they stomach supporting someone who has destroyed their legacies. Geez it’s almost midnight. This blog is going to be addictive.
Hi, joined earlier, signed petition and wrote him the letter. I just received the following message from him I Quote
“Dear ****,
I wanted to drop you a quick note about a major policy change here at the Democratic Party.
As we move toward the general election, the Democratic Party has to be the Party of ordinary Americans, not Washington lobbyists and special interests. So, as of this morning, if you’re a federal lobbyist, or if you control political action committee donations, we won’t be accepting your contribution.
This is an unprecedented move for a political party to make — one that has sent shockwaves through Washington and has turned the debate on clean campaigns upside down. We’ve unilaterally agreed to shut lobbyists out of the process, and are we’re relying on people just like you.
Just imagine what hundreds of thousands of Americans donating $20, $30, or $50 at a time can accomplish together. Imagine the signal that it sends to anyone who looks at John McCain’s political machine and the special interest money it needs to fuel every move it makes.
We have a chance to change the way business is done in this country, and we’re taking the lead. Will you join us and make a contribution right now to help us elect Barack Obama?
http://www.democrats.org/nonlobbyists
I’ve written before about guys like Charlie Black and Rick Davis, lobbyists who are at the highest levels of McCain’s campaign. But they’re just the start — John McCain and the RNC suck up lobbyist money millions of dollars at a time.
In May, McCain had his best fundraising month of the campaign, and it was directly because he refuses to shut special interests out.
But we did, and we need your help. This is an example of the kind of White House Barack Obama would run. Make a contribution to help elect him:
http://www.democrats.org/nonlobbyists
I’ll be in touch later about our plans for the general election, but I wanted to let you know about our policy change right away.
Thanks,
Howard Dean”
back to me:
Too little too late, don’t you think. Glad to be here, and for me it’s Hillary all the way? I will be adding to below that my $$ still go directly to Hillary.
below is my answer so far: Why didn’t you change policy before Barack Obama accepted all those bundled contributions he used to buy an early Nomination? What do you think? Input appreciated.
Witchy 1
Hillary,
Simply…
You WIN in November, you are the PRESIDENT.
You LOSE in November, you are a HERO.
You QUIT NOW, you are a LOSER…
The best answer to their letter is not to support Obama in the fall. If you can’t stomach voting for McCain then sit it out. We have to send a clear message. The sexism in this campaign was enormous. They talked about her ankles, cleavage, clothing, voice, hair, age, said she was emasculating and used all kinds of words I won’t post her. When did that become part of the political process. They won’t get a dime of my money. I suspect they don’t care at the moment….but they will care if enough of us stand up and decide not to tow the party line.
withcy1… I wish I had thought about that when I wrote my letter of resignation!! It occurred to me earlier how timely that new policy came about. How BO took millions to get himself appointed and now the special interest groups money isn’t welcome??? Laughable.

Nope not a good little girl, I think “not Ready to make nice” works real well. I was Witchy 1 on Hillary.com too but my posts aren’t coming through there right now. Go Hillary!

There’s an update to this post — please scroll up to read it.
Good night all. Thank you again for joining and being part of this movement.
great article
http://savagepolitics.com/?p=610
Wow, Murphy…maybe we need a “permanent post” with the refutations to all the same old faux talking points the Obamaborg Collective keep dredging up?
Anyway, I want to help!! I’m sure together we could come up with a concise bulletin point by point permanent post to refer all the trolls to so they can’t derail every thread with crap we’ve heard and refuted so many times.
Not to mention a fact sheet about the rigged selection!
Hi, I’m new here, just joined. I was so glad to find you on the Hillary site as I became incresingly upset by what the DNC was doing or not doing for Hillary and our vote. I was so glad to find a place where I can wait this out until Denver, November or even until 2012.
I learned it is really easy to be an Independent in Illinois. I am whatever I vote. Now, I’m waiting to hear from the election board how write-in’s are handled here, then will decide how to vote. Finding it hard to vote Republican after so many years as a Democrat, but McCain is not as bad as others before him.
I really hope Hillary just suspends and waits this out a bit. I understand she feels she must show support for the party, but I hope VP is not being considered. Just can’t stand for a first class woman take second place to a second class male candidate. I would love it if the DNC comes around before Denver, but if not, I am willing to wait until 2012. Maybe McCain in 2008 will help Hillary in 2012.
What do you all think?
Hello all Pumas
I have sent the letter to Dean.
I have been a Dem for 25 years and never even dreamnt of being anything but. Now “my Party” has become a gang of bigots, thugs, brown shirts and misogynists and I have quit them forever.
I would rather chew through 20 miles of ground glass than vote for Obama and the horrible Michelle!
Never Forget!
Thank you!
Hi there I am back but not sure anyone is here
Well I guess I will go to bed and see you all sometime after i get up. God Bless
Obama and the DNC’s “new policy” is all smoke and mirrors BS.
While pledging to turn down donations from lobbyists themselves, Sen. Barack Obama raised more than $1 million in the first three months of his presidential campaign from law firms and companies that have major lobbying operations in the nation’s capital.
Portraying himself as a new-style politician determined to reform Washington, Obama makes his policy clear in fundraising invitations, stating that he takes no donations from “federal lobbyists.” His aides announced last week he was returning $43,000 to lobbyists who donated to his campaign.
But the Illinois Democrat’s policy of shunning money from lobbyists registered to do business on Capitol Hill does not extend to lawyers whose partners lobby there.
Nor does the ban apply to corporations that have major lobbying operations in Washington. And the prohibition does not extend to lobbyists who ply their trade in such state capitals as Springfield, Ill.; Tallahassee, Fla.; and Sacramento, though some deal with national clients and issues.
“Clearly, the distinction is not that significant,” said Stephen Weissman of the Campaign Finance Institute, a nonpartisan think tank that focuses on campaign issues.
“He gets an asterisk that says he is trying to be different,” Weissman said. “But overall, the same wealthy interests are funding his campaign as are funding other candidates, whether or not they are lobbyists.”
Even spouses and children of registered Washington DC lobbyists can donate. The only difference is the name on the check…
scroll up and go to newer thread . click on calling all pumas. I can’t keep up with 2 threads it’s is confusing the heck out of me …
POdVet: I agree with you about the lobbyist. He is not completely naive. He must know the lobbyist aren’t going to roll over and let him have his way. So they organize this farce of an announcement because they know most Americans are only paritally paying attention. They will react to the announcement as if it’s a great thing because it is often provided in a sound bite. Their campaign is a master at using the media. When in truth it’s all more of the same.
Morning Folks, comments are open again. There is a new post up at the top of the page. There are great conversations happening, it may be a good idea to move up there.
Thanks!
Let’s see how long it is before he begins to adopt Hillary’s more moderate stances on many of the issues. He is already backtracking on meeting unconditionally with all world leaders. The man is a wolf is sheep’s clothing. The more exposure he gets (and the more he strays from his talking points) the better. Then people will realize just who they are about to nominate. McCain can beat him but we need McCain to win in a landslide. That way Obama will give no thought to running in 2012.
I will under no circumstances vote for Obama…He didn’t wantmy vote counted in Florida.then him and his cronies gave us 1/2 a vote…..He and the DNC can go pound rock salt…
This man is a menace to the country and will cow tow to the AA…..He is a racists… hates white people..snubbed his white mother…..and has ties to terrorist nations……..
You guys are right. I support Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton for PRESIDENT, not Vice-President under an unworthy and illegitimate Democratic nominee. Besides Hillary will have a better chance in 2012 if John McCain is President.
bluedog – yes, I still have a headache from being cut in half myself down here in the Sunshine State. Didn’t know he was not good to his mother. That alone is enough for me not to vote for him. If a man isn’t good to his mama, he won’t be good to anyone.
Hi everyone! I’ve been trying to blog on HRC.com for weeks with no luck. Took a while to get my password for PUMA but here I am. Murphy – thanks for the site! I’ll donate soon!
I have been blogging like crazy over on AOL in every political forum I can find:

I hope we’re seeing many new faces here! (Minus Trolls)
{ BIG HUG } to all!
Guys, I have forwarded the website to those I know are as disgusted as us, I am trying to screen people, but like Murphy said I guess is that we will still get some trolls you can recognize them by the way they are airheaded and enamoured with Obama, they are mean spirited and hateful, I spend a lot of time arguing with them on Yahoo Web. Here is their NEW idea: THEY DONT NEED us! THEY say that over double the amount of DEMOCRATS voted this election, although they fail to take into account that HALF of those votes were HRC Supporters! THEY also fail to account for Republicans who intentionally crossed party lines to vote, and all the independents! WE have got to remain more focused than ever. Obama although still SMUG and ARROGANT is hearing about us, and feeling the PINCH. Problem is his soothing words that convinced the easily lead are not resounding with us! WE need to realize that our CIVIL LIBERITIES have been compromised here! WE have to send this message loud and clear to the DNC by them discounting votes, misallocating earned delegates and the pressuring of HRC’s delegate base to move is contrary to WHAT DEMOCRACY IS!!!!
Obama, you can not disrespect one of the most admired and liked families of the Democratic Party and get away with it!
YOU can not allow the hatred of your constituants and mentors to cloud the judgement of you and your supporters so much as to disinfranchise over 18 million AMERICANS and then expect us to come crawling on “just words”
We had HOPE and a CHANCE at REAL change until you and a select few denied us of our choice!
NO OBAMA
2009/2012 McCain Democrat!
2012 HRC this TIME for the WILL of the PEOPLE!
Hello,
Did you see “http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/06/walker/index.html”
What a load of crap this article is… the female author claims “Best woman for the job could be a man”….
I would say, her mother didn’t do a good job on her. She seems to have very low self-esteem.
Media and DNC have paid her fortune to write started using such incompetent and insecure women to convince Hillary supporters. And there are tons of them in this country. God help Hillary and her supporters.
Oops…
The last paragraph in my previous comment should have been..
“Media and DNC have paid her fortune to write such articles. They have started using such incompetent and insecure women to convince Hillary supporters. And there are tons of them in this country. God help Hillary and her supporters.”
Peaceful protest march ?
How about organizing a peaceful protest march in every city ? We may be in small number but it still conveys the message to DNC and Obama. More visibility helps.
I also posted this on clintondems.com
if anybody can still get posted over at our hill site MINE DONT GO THROUGH~they are having trouble getting signed on over here if someone could post this over there it would help

I will vote McCain forsure. just became an independent. Let your family and friends know about the plans. we have to make this threat serious. especially the ones in thee swing states. i also hope that you organize in your communities to actually do something about it
Murphy-you wrote this:
I dont believe Hillary is backing down. I firmly believe this is a strategic move on her part to let Obama face the full force of the republican and media onslaught. Her presence in the race will now no longer be providing cover for him. He will wither and be forced out of the race before the convention.
This will be the Summer of Revelations for Barack Obama.
We need to keep Hillary’s back.
A fine analysis. And a prediction I can live with. Now we need to focus on how to watch Hillary’s back over this summer of revelations for Barack Obama. Part of that might be keeping track of where the media wants to lead.
hi friends,
yesterday I signed the petition, today I requested to withdraw from receiving newsletter from the Democratic Party, and the reason I gave them for unsubscribing was the party’s ungratefulness towards Hillary, for suggesting her to leave the race and everything shameful they all have done against her. If you subscribe to this newsletter, unsubscribe too, and write the same reason.
Chris Matthews on CNN is rabid. He is digging his own grave. May be if Hillary delays her announcement for some more time, he will keep saying horrible things about her and one of these days he will cross all moral and ethical boundary that will get him into legal trouble. I hope Hillary delays conceding further and make BO and media go totally crazy
I saw BO and Michelle Obama’s picture on SavagePolitics.com site captured while they were watching Hillary talk. Extreme hate is pouring out of Michelle Obama’s eyes. If she can’t even pretend to like Hillary, she is not worthy of stepping into white house. I am happy to know that she suffered through Hillary’s talk
As long as Hillary doesn’t say good bye on Saturday, there may be some hope. Wishful thinking! If not, everyone voting for John McCain is the only thing that can teach them a lesson. But everyone pray that she doesn’t accept VP position.
Their all listening to us out there.
Their all bringing up the unfairness to Hillary factor.
Their all so stupid.
The Repubs are asking for us.
I’ve been trying to post here and at Hillary’s site and my posts do not show up. I testing here now and wondering if I have a security setting on my browser or something that is blocking my posts?
My log in name says it all.

BLOG ON PEOPLE
Obama supporters are tapped out; Hillary supporters, including me, have removed themselves from the DNC e-mail list; meanwhile, the Republicans are getting new donations from new RNC supporters that once backed Hillary and devote Republicans. As a Regan Democrat, I have no problem voting for McCain and Republican overall to save our country from the radical left ideology that BHO secretly holds. If we simply look at his closest associates that escalated him to prominence, this may not be so secret.
I think that this is a greta forum if you havent been there. There are alot of people there that are trying to organize for Denver.
http://www.hillaryclintonforum.net/discussion/showthread.php?t=15133&highlight=million+woman+march
Thanks ‘dontrustobama’. That site is great. They are organizing a march. I wanted to register and add my comments. But registration is not allowed anymore. So I am going to put my comments here. I will be posting this same in clintondems.com
1. In addition to Denver march there should be local city and town marches. Not everyone would be able to travel to Denver. Million doesn’t have to be in Denver alone. It could be spread around all over the country.
2. If I can get hold of their flyer, I can spread the word around here in my school. There are many Hillary supporters (both men and women). In addition, even if they can’t make it to Denver, they would surely march locally here.
3. Another idea, those who cannot take off from work and march locally, they can organize a small march during the lunch time or their break time some place. They can give a signed petition to the local dems office.
This way there will be many many millions all over the place.
Just sent my e-mail to Howard Dean — feels good. I also sent back the fundraising letter he just sent with a big piece of my mind. Free at Last!
I think we have to stop answering the obama baiters. Just ignore them — hopefully they will wither on the vine. The Admin will take care of them.
dazey, I did the same thing and also removed my name from their mailing list.
How about a T-shirt, cap, something we can buy to wear and thus demonstrate out positions . . . also a way for us to recognize similarly minded individuals.
I sent a email to “howie” I also filled out the letter from him wanting money I had fun filling it out.I answered the question do you have any advice for the nominee I said my advice would be for obama to stay at home with his DNC Hi-jackers and I added “when there is a lack of honor in goverment, the morals of the whole people are poisoned.
HEY…6MIN. INTO HER SPEECH…HILLARY SAID..AFTER LISTING EVERY KIND & TYPE OF PERSONS SHE HAS BEEN FIGHTING FOR…..”YOU STOOD WITH ME…and I WILL CONT. TO STAND STRONG WITH YOU EVERY TIME,EVERY PLACE AND EVERY “WAY”I CAN!!!!

I, like the majority of dems voted for Hillary. No other candidate will work for me.
I will definitely be voting for McCain in November, and no amount of pleading or trickery will change my mind.
If I had to list my choices for president, in order of their ability to get things done, closely followed by decency, it would have look something like this:
1) Hillary
2) McCain
3) Huckabee
4) Ron Paul
5) Any other idiot that has a pulse
6) Barrack Hussein Osama
I will never vote Democrat again! If I want to waste my time and effort voting, I can just write my choice on toilet paper and flush it.
mccain4obama:
what happened to HRC was constitutionally WRONG! WE have to send this message to the DNC and the Obama camp that elections can not be bought, media driven and stolen! HRC has the popular vote, she won more primaries, a broader coalition of voters, she has the real soliutions not “just words” that were compiled of over 40 different speeches over the last 40 or so years. SHE was the CANDIDATE to BEAT MCCAIN, HRC said it! We have said it, and NOW we have to make those words ring true! We have been discounted, disrespected, hurt and made fun of, and NOW they NEED us? SORRY>>>I am not that gulliable! I need to remind those who vote in a closed election to get on board and change your voter registration cards NOW! DON’T wait! I am not sure which states if someone knows and could post would help tremendously! Thanks to Murphy for starting this and I am out on the net daily recruiting others from Myspace, etc to come this direction! WE can NOT get fooled here, or they have won and set the precedence to continue to resolve close elections in this manner! WE will NOT be UNDONE!
What these silly folks cannot grasp is that Hillary won with the popular vote against the DNC and every one of the news agencies. What could have happened if the DNC had been fair? What could have happened if the news agencies had been fair? It would have been an unprecedented Hillary victory now and in November. The highhanded way Hillary, her campaign, and her supporters have been treated just lost the November election.
I have been skimming through Hillary’s speeches. She mentions a lot of people who she thanked for there support. I think we should try to contact these people and keep them in the loop.
RE: #508- Amen to that! When George Soros, DKos, and the Head of GE (that owns NBC & CNBC) donate cumulative millions to SD’s -that then have the epiphany that Obama is the only way to go… something smells fishy.
Media had blatently manipulated the electorate. Imagine if Hillary hadn’t been trashed at every turn. It took massive character assassination of her & Bill to pull off this Obama ‘win’
Time to throw the bums out! Time to get major reforms in the Party, They have assumed waaaay too much power for themselves. It doesn’t even resemble the Party I once knew!
Find out who your representatives are, who they supported, who their contributers are and what role they played in hijacking our party.
We listened to months of lies about Hillary from the Obots, why would they expect us to believe them about McCain now? No more debating anything with them for me.
Are you people serious? Vote for McCain in protest? You don’t protest Ford’s choice not to build a more fuel efficient car by buying a Hummer instead, why would you protest the DNC’s choice by going Republican? Hillary, Obama, and McCain are all of the same vile politician sort; it’s just a question of the lesser of evils at this point. You think Hillary really has ambitions beyond her own accomplishment? She, Obama, and Mccain have shown a willingness to say anything to get elected. Business as usual.
To Murphy and Mhuberto,
Murphy, I have been away a few days and was surprised to see the postings of Alan, Brenda and Mhubero. It just reminded me of the same crap I have listened to from friends for several months. I just wish they would take the Obamaism else where. Especially the comments about voting for McCain. There are many many of us who will say that we might not agree with McCains policies but we see him as a decent human being. That is the difference between the two candidates. This must continue to be about the DNC and
we must hold them accountable for destroying the party.
